Welcome to the BPW! Tonight we've got four matches lined up for you including the Damned in 6-man tag action and the Patriot faces Mr. Wrestling 3, no holds barred. Let's get down to the action.
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. TAKA Michinoku
TAKA was quick on nhis feet, but Dreamer neutralized it whenever he could with his no nonsense brawling style. TAKA tried for the Just Facelock but Dreamer wasn't out of it enough. Dreamer ended up taking home the match with his Dreamer DDT.
Tommy Dreamer pinned TAKA Michinoku with the Dreamer DDT in 0:06:37. Rating: *** * 1/4
Sin Cara, Gran Markus Jr & Psicosis vs. The Damned (Raven, Abyss & Christopher Daniels)
Much of the match's heavy lifting came from Abyss and he definitely handled himself well against the luchadores. Daniels got in with some high flying moves, but Raven seemed content to let Abyss and Daniels wear their opponents down. When it came to the end though, Raven wanted the credit for the pinfall and hit the Evenflow DDT for the pin.
The Damned (Abyss, Christopher Daniels and Raven) defeated Gran Markus Jr., Sin Cara and Psicosis when Raven pinned Cara with the Evenflow DDT in 0:09:12. Rating: *** 1/4
After the match a video is played. The background is an Indian flag and there is sitar music playing. The words "Homicidal" appear over the flag.
"The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus vs. "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy
Hardy tried to take advantage early on and got it with his high flying and fast paced action. Sheamus put a quick stop to it with the Irish Curse. Sheamus dominated Hardy except for a few moments of realy great offense from Jeff Hardy. When Hardy got caught with the Brogue Kick it was all over.
Sheamus pinned Jeff Hardy with the Brogue Kick in 0:07:36. Rating: *** 3/4
Main Event No Holds Barred The Patriot vs. Mr. Wrestling 3
This match was violent and personal. Mr. Wrestling 3 turned on the Patriot and has now superkiced him square in the jaw twice and the Patriot was looking for some revenge here tonight in this no holds barred competition where anything goes. An early Uncle Slam managed to get a two count. Mr. Wrestling 3 decided that it'd be better to take the fight outside where he felt he had more of an advantage. Mr. Wrestling 3 hit the Island-Plex on the outside, but by the time he got the Patriot and his own tired body in the ring the Patriot was able to kick out. Mr. Wrestling 3 shouted that he was done screwing around and grabbed a chair. He clocked the Patriot with a hard chair shot which put him on wobbly legs and then a second to finally get him to the canvas. Mr. Wrestling 3 then hit the Island-Plex ONTO the chair in order to get the three count.
[Main Event: No Holds Barred]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Mr. Wrestling 3 pinned The Patriot with the Island-Plex in 0:24:53. Rating: *** 1/2
What a night! It looked like the Patriot had it several times during the match, but Mr. Wrestling 3 used the steel chair as an equalizer. Join us next week when Sheamus will face Christopher Daniels, Matt Hardy takes on Zack Ryder, Alberto Del Rio is in action against Tommy Dreamer and CM Punk challenges Mark Henry for the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title. We'll see you then!

Welcome to BPW! We've got some great action lined up for you tonight including a Bodyslam Heavyweight Title defense by Mark Henry against CM Punk! Let's get to the action!
"The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus vs. "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels
Christopher Daniels used his speed to surprise Sheamus in the early goings but the momentum was stopped with a huge Brogue Kick which knocked Daniels out for the three.
Sheamus pinned Christopher Daniels with the Brogue Kick in 0:04:51. Rating: ** 3/4
"Long Island Iced-Z" Zack Ryder vs. "Cold Blood" Matt Hardy
This match started off in Matt Haryds favor. Ryder even kicked out of the Twist Of Fate. After that Ryder started to turn things around and hit the Rough Ryder for three.
Zack Ryder pinned Matt Hardy with the Rough Ryder in 0:08:21. Rating: *** * 1/4
After the match a video is played. The background is an Indian flag and there is sitar music playing. The words "Suicidal" appear over the flag.
After Tommy Dreamer is introduced, out came Alberto Del Rio. He said that he had better things to do than face someone like Tommy Dreamer and that for tonight's match he has hired a replacement. The Miz.
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. The Miz
The Miz ran down to the ring and he and Dreamer started to brawl. Dreamer never really had a chance to get his feet under him and the Miz dominated the proceedings. The Skull Crushing Finale ended things giving the Miz the win.
The Miz pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Skull Crushing Finale in 0:05:03. Rating: ***
The Patriot's music hit and out he came. He said that he wanted once last chance to end the beef between he and Mr. Wrestling 3 once and for all in a fair fight. And this time, it'll be mask vs. mask!
Main Event Bodyslam Heavyweight Championship Title Match CM Punk vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry
Mark Henry had the strength, but CM Punk had the speed and he seemed to be starting to learn how to use that to the fullest advantage that he could. He even came pretty close to winning, getting the Anaconda Vice on Henry for a bit, but Henry was too close to the ropes and he got his leg under the bottom one to break the hold. In the end CM Punk couldn't help but get hit with the World's Strongest Slam.
[Main Event]: Mark Henry pinned CM Punk with the World's Strongest Slam in 0:14:07. Rating: *** (Mark Henry retained the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title.)
Join us next week when Mr. Wrestling 3 and the Patriot will settle things once and for all in a mask vs. mask match! The Hardys will be in action against Zack Ryder and Jimmy Jacobs and Tommy Dreamer takes on Raven. We'll see you then.

8/11:
Abyss almost has to be ready for some sort of title match. The guy hasn't lost in months.
I like Del Rio chickening out of his match with Sheamus. Makes you anticipate him getting his head kicked in later.
Big win for Mr. Wrestling 3. I hope the feud continues.
I'm kind of growing tired of Punk/Henry. This should probably be his last shot.
8/18:
Good win for the Damned. Abyss is on such a roll right now. I still think it's slightly odd we had four Sin Caras without much explanation, especially now that it seems Del Rio is a heel while the others are all faces.
Just a brutal match between Mr. Wrestling 3 and the Patriot. I look forward to seeing Mr. Wrestling 3 continue to develop.
8/25:
That's a huge win for Ryder. Never would have expected him to go over a Hardy.
Looks like Del Rio is dodging more than just Sheamus. Wonder how a face is ever going to get him into the ring?
Mask vs. Mask is a great stip. I don't really know who I want to come out on top. I don't think the Patriot would be half as effective without the mask.
Now that Henry has beaten Punk once again, I think it's time for maybe Sheamus or even Abyss to get an extended run against Henry.

7/21: Jacobs is dead. Thanks for coming. Another dominant win for Del Rio. Shocked to see Patriot and Wrestling 3 beat the Hardys. That's huge for them. Tough test for Henry, but he continues to be a sack of bad ass. 7/28: Matt Hardy needed a win. Not used to seeing the Hardyz being so middle-of-the-pack. Good to see Miz get some tv time, and a win at that. I think you should be using him more. He rocks (as long as he doesn't have to catch anyone). Lol. Poor TAKA. Wrestling 3, you scoundrel! Patriot is so good at being your sympathetic figure. Everyone hates him. 8/4: For some reason, picturing Del Rio with one lone staple in his head is hilarious to me. Right guy went over though. Still hoping Necro turns this around. Not surprised Abyss keeps winning. He has to make a run at the title here soon. He's being too dominant not to. Big win for Sheamus. Raven is near the top of the card, so impressive. Punk continues to have the Damned's number in the main event. 8/11: Yeah, nice try, Ryder. Not enough fan support in the world to get you past Abyss. Del Rio just essentially got Psicosis murdered. Heel has to get the first win after a turn, so solid booking there. Patriot will get his revenge, but gotta make him work for it. Punk is #1 contender again. He really needs to capitalize this time or he needs to be away from the World Title for awhile. Now or never, butt munch! 8/18: Solid win for Dreamer in the opener. I feel the Damned need to get in a feud again soon. They're a formidable team, but they're floating a little bit right now. I may have spoken too soon... looks like we have SABU coming in soon, which I strongly support. He's a fantastic write. Atta boy, Sheamus. Kick his rainbow hair off! Valiant effort by Patriot, but this seems to be more Wrestling 3's style. 8/25: Welcome to being a splotch on the mat, Daniels. Ryder over Hardy has to be considered a minor upset. The Hardys aren't major players in BPW, but they have enough of a legacy where it's a good win. I like Del Rio not wanting to soil his hands with certain wrestlers. Nothing wrong with Henry beating Punk, but like I said earlier, I think this needs to be Punk's last shot for awhile. He's had his chances, and Henry is making him his bitch.

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we'll see Tommy Dreamer face Raven, Zack Ryder & Jimmy Jacobs will be in action against the Hardys and in the main event it'll be The Patriot and Mr. Wrestling 3, mask vs. mask!
After the Blue Meanie is introduced out come Alberto Del Rio. He tells the Blue Meanie that there is no way that he is going to waste his precious time wrestling him and says that instead he has hired Psicosis to face him.
The Blue Meanie vs. Psicosis
Psicosis got things off to a good start, using his speed to his advantage. Psicosis tried for the flying senton, but Blue Meanie managed to avoid it and hit the Meaniesault while Psicosis was still on the ground hurting.
The Blue Meanie pinned Psicosis with the Meaniesault in 0:08:04. Rating: **
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven
Raven attacked Dreamer before the bell, gaining an early advantage that Tommy never really was able to recover from. Dreamer did manage to hit the Dreamer DDT out of nowhere, but only could get a two count. Raven hit a low blow as Dreamer was bringing Raven back to his feet and used that to set up the Evenflow DDT for the win.
Raven pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Evenflow DDT in 0:06:54. Rating: ***
A video is played showing the Indian flag with sitar music in the background. The world "Genocidal" appears, followed by "Next week"
Zack Ryder & Jimmy Jacobs vs. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff)
Zack Ryder and Jimmy Jacobs have teamed together several times before, but all their chemistry can't compare to the chemistry that the Hardy Brothers have and it showed. Ryder & Jacobs had their moments of offense, but couldn't make them last. In the end Matt Hardy caught Jacobs in the Side Effect after ducking a clothesline. He tagged out to Jeff and hit the Twist of Fate, setting up Jeff for the Swanton Bomb and the win.
The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) defeated Zack Ryder and Jimmy Jacobs when J. Hardy pinned J. Jacobs after the Swanton Bomb in 0:17:14. Rating: *** * 1/4
Main Event Mask vs. Mask The Patriot vs. Mr. Wrestling 3
This match was quite the meeting. The Patriot had been betrayed by Mr. Wrestling 3 and this was the Patriot's last chance for redemption. Mr. Wrestling 3 showed that he wasn't afraid to use dirty tricks in order to keep the match going in his favor. The Patriot looked to be in trouble until the crowd started a "USA!" chant and he mounted a HUGE comeback. The Patriot knocked Mr. Wrestling 3 loopy with an enzuigiri and then hit a big Uncle Slam for the win!
[Main Event: Mask vs. Mask]: The Patriot pinned Mr. Wrestling 3 with the Uncle Slam in 0:16:19. Rating: *** *
The crowd was going nuts for the Patriot as he grabbed onto the still stunned Mr. Wrestling 3's mask. He unlaced the back and pulled off the mask to reveal Steve Corino!! Mr. Wrestling 3 was Steve Corino! The Patriot grabbed Steve Corino and planted him again with the Uncle Slam as te crowd went nuts!
What a night of action! The Patriot unmasked Mr. Wrestling 3 to reveal it had been Steve Corino all along! Join us next week when we'll find out what these videos from the past couple weeks mean, Christopher Daniels will be in action against Sin Cara and Mark Henry will once again defend his Bodyslam Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk! We'll see you then!

That has to be considered a huge upset for the Meanie.
I wonder where this will all lead with Del Rio?
Poor Dreamer. Never had much luck with Raven.
Big win to get the Hardys back on track. They've been on quite the slide.
Speaking of tag teams, sure doesn't feel like the tag team titles have been around much lately.
It's funny how the Patriot looks so weak during his feuds, but he always comes out on top.
Corino fits perfectly as a guy that'd be Mr. Wrestling 3. Love him as the guy under the mask. Hopefully he isn't gone since this feud seems to be over.

Blue Meanie... wins? Sucks to be Psicosis. Yeah, Dreamer just never has any luck against Raven. Hardyz pick up the tag win. Maybe getting back into tag contention? Steve Corino as Wrestling 3 should have been way more obvious to me than it was. Made perfect sense, and it was a fun match. You've built The Patriot into quite the sympathetic character. He gets his head beat in for weeks but finds a way to pull it out in the end.

Welcome to the BPW! Tonight we've got a great line up for you including CM Punk facing Mark Henry for the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title in the main event! Let's get down to the ring or our irst match up.
Jimmy Jacobs vs. "The Human Highlight Reel" Sabu
This started off at a high pace. Jacobs was cut open early with some stiff shots from Sabu. Jacobs tried to get away by going to the outside, but Sabu followed him. He tried to drive Jacobs through the announce table with a back suplex, but Jacobs flipped over, landing on the table on his feet and jumped off, hitting a frankensteiner. Jacobs got back in the ring and Sabu slid in a chair before sliding in himself. Sabu hit Jacobs with a hard clothesline and then an Asai leg lariat. Sabu grabbed the chair and set it up, hitting the Triple Jump Moonsault for the pinfall.
Sabu pinned Jimmy Jacobs with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:05:22. Rating: ** 3/4
Sin Cara vs. "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels
Sin Cara tried to out speed Daniels, but Daniels did a pretty good job at keeping up with his opponent. Cara tried to rely on lucha libre moves while Daniels was countering with slams. Cara tried countering a kick to the midsection with a dragon screw, but Daniels leveled Sin Cara with an enzuigiri and used that to set up the Best Moonsault Ever.
Christopher Daniels pinned Sin Cara with the Best Moonsault Ever in 0:06:25. Rating: *** 1/4
After Tommy Dreamer is introduced, out comes Alberto Del Rio. He gets on the microphone and lets Tommy Dreamer know that he isn't going to sully himself by getting in the ring with him. Instead, he's paid a Mexican wrestler named Abismo Negro to wrestle Tommy Dreamer for him.
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. "El Rey Del Martinete" Abismo Negro
This match was mostly Tommy Dreamer brawling with Abismo Negro who was having a hard time keeping up. Dreamer was in control until Alberto Del Rio got up on the apron and distracted Dreamer, allowing Abismo Negro to get the upper hand and enough of an upper hand to hit the Frog Splash for the pin.
Abismo Negro pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Frog Splash in 0:07:14. Rating: *** 1/4
Main Event Bodyslam Heavyweight Championship Title Match CM Punk vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry (c)
With each time that CM Punk sees himself across the ring from Mark Henry he seems to figure out the puzzle a little better. That puzzle being how to get around Henry's obviously strength and defeat him. Tonight was no different. CM Punk threw a lot of offense at Henry and really had Henry reeling at times. At times it seemed like Punk had it, but Henry always had just enough strength to kick out at 2.9. Without the ability to use the GTS, Punk tried to latch on the Anaconda Vice, but Henry powered his way out before it could get fully locked on. Henry managed to wrap things up with the World's Strongest Slam for the victory.
[Main Event]: Mark Henry pinned CM Punk with the World's Strongest Slam in 0:14:05. Rating: ** (Mark Henry retained the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title.)
Another successful title defense in the books for Mark Henry and who have to wonder who in the world can dethrone him? Anybody? Join us next week when we'll see who Henry's next opponent will be as we hold a 5-man battle royal featuring Alberto Del Rio, Jerry Lynn, The Patriot, Raven and Sheamus! We'll see you then!

Solid debut for Sabu. Let's see what he can do in BPW.
Man, Sin Cara just can't catch a break, can he?
I like the angle with Del Rio not wanting to soil himself with lower competition, but when is the last time he has actually wrestled?
I love you, Punk, but you just can't beat Henry. Quit trying, you ol' so-n-so!
Patriot to win the battle royal!

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we've got a great main event as we'll find out who the new #1 contender for Mark Henry's Bodyslam Heavyweight Title will be in a 5-man battle royal! Let's get to the ring.
Gran Markus Jr. vs. "The Monster" Abyss
Gran Markus Jr is one guy that Abyss didn't have a size advantage over. It took him a little while to adjust his attack, but he managed and hit the Black Hole Slam for the win.
Abyss pinned Gran Markus Jr. with the Black Hole Slam in 0:05:22. Rating: * 1/4
Hardcore Match "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. "The Human Highlight Reel" Sabu
This match started off with Dreamer and Sabu brawling. They went blow for blow. Dreamer managed to get the upperhand and grabbed one of the ringside TV cameras and clocked Sabu with it, then hit a Dreamer DDT, but Sabu kicked out at two and a half. Dreamer tried to hit him with the TV camera again, but Sabu ducked the blow and got the camera away from Dreamer, giving Dreamer a blow of his own. Sabu went outside and got a chair, setting it up in the for the Triple Jump Moonsault, but Dreamer got up and tried for another Dreamer DDT, which Sabu countered with a lowblow. He bodyslamed Dreamer and hit the Triple Jump Moonsault for the pin.
[Hardcore Match]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Sabu pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:07:48. Rating: ***
Sin Cara vs. "Cold Blood" Matt Hardy
Sin Cara tried to keep the pace of the action high, but Hardy did his best to slow it down and take it away from where Cara was comfortable. Cara almost got counted out after missing a plancha, but Hardy wasn't going to win like that. He threw Cara back in the ring and locked in the Ice Pick for the submission victory.
Matt Hardy made Sin Cara submit to the Ice Pick in 0:07:57. Rating: *** * 1/4
Main Event #1 Contender Battle Royal Featuring: Jerry Lynn, The Patriot, Sheamus, Raven & Alberto Del Rio
This was one match that Alberto Del Rio didn't buy his way out of seeing as how the winner would become the #1 contender for Mark Henry's Bodyslam Heavyweight Title. Unfortunately for Del Rio, he wouldn't be around long as Lynn hit the Cradle Piledriver to eliminate him. Quickly after, Lynn hit Raven with the Cradle Piledriver as well after Raven had been on the losing end of a brawl with Sheamus. The Patriot, Sheamus and Lynn had a harder time eliminating each other and the fans weren't sure who to get behind. The Patriot started to get a strong showing against both men, knocking Sheamus out to the floor with a clothesline, he hit Lynn with the Uncle Slam to eliminate him, but got up and turned around right into a spinebuster slam from Sheamus, which allowed Sheamus to get the three.
[Main Event: #1 Contender Match]: 5-Man Battle Royal: Sheamus won a 5-man Battle Royal: x J. Lynn defeated Del Rio after the Cradle Piledriver in 0:04:16 x J. Lynn defeated Raven after the Cradle Piledriver in 0:05:03 x Patriot defeated J. Lynn after the Uncle Slam in 0:21:06 x Sheamus defeated Patriot after a spinebuster slam in 0:21:29 Rating: *** **

That's one enormous Black Hole Slam!
Tommy Dreamer gets hit in the balls and loses... story of his life. Fortunately for him, losing all the time never hurt his character.
Matt Hardy over Sin Cara. No surprises there.
If anyone in the battle royal has a chance to dethrone Mark Henry it's Sheamus. Unfortunately I don't think he does it next week.

Welcome to BPW and what a night we have for you tonight. We'll crown new #1 contenders for the tag team titles and in the main event Mark Henry will defend his Heavyweight Title against Sheamus! But first let's get down to the ring for out opening match.
Hardcore Match Necro Butcher vs. "The Human Highlight Reel" Sabu
Sabu started off strong and Necro Butcher took a lot of punishment which is something he is really good at. At one point after a chair shot, Necro Butcher was able to hit his Tiger Driver, but only for a two count. He picked up Sabu and whipped him into the ropes, but was met with an Asai leg lariat. He followed it by taking the chair and hitting the Arabian facebuster before setting the chair up and hitting the Triple Jump Moonsault.
[Hardcore Match]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Sabu pinned Necro Butcher with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:10:47. Rating: ***
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven
This match started as a good old fashion brawl. One which saw them brawl around ringside during the match. Dreamer got the edge after a swinging neckbreaker, but Raven blocked the Dreamer DDT attempt and then hit his own Evenflow DDT.
Raven pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Evenflow DDT in 0:09:36. Rating: *** 1/2
#1 Contender Match Sin Cara & Super Crazy vs. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff)
The Hardys are tag mansters, but they seemed to under estimate Sin Cara and Super Crazy who functioned together surprisingly well. Over all it was definitely the Hardys' match until the end. Matt Hardy tried to hit the Twist of Fate to set up Jeff's Swanton Bomb, but Super Crazy hit a huge dropkick that sent him stumbling out of the ring. Sin Cara knocked Jeff from the top rope, landing him crotch first on the turn buckle and then used his stunned state to hit the Moonsault Side Slam for the three count and the upset.
Number-One-Contenders-Match: Sin Cara and Super Crazy defeated The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) when Cara pinned J. Hardy with the Moonsault Side Slam in 0:17:33. Rating: *** * 1/2
Main Event Bodyslam Heavyweight Championship Title Match "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry (c)
Sheamus was one guy that Mark Henry couldn't just naturally overpower and throw around like a rag doll. Sheamus really drilled it home that he was a powerful guy as well. Sheamus seemed to have an answer for just about everything Henry tried to throw at him, mainly because of the type of matches that Henry is used to wrestling against much smaller opponents. The two eventually spilled out to the floor and fought on the outside, eventually leading to a double countout, though not before Sheamus smacked Mark Henry silly with the Brogue Kick.
[Main Event]: Mark Henry and Sheamus battled to a double countout in 0:16:57. Rating: * 1/2 (Mark Henry retained the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title.)
Join us next week when we'll see a Heavyweight Title re-match between Sheamus and champion Mark Henry and the #1 contenders for the tag team titles will face off against the champions in a pair of singles matches. We'll see you then!

9/15: Abyss keeps on rolling and doing so like a boss. This might be the man who can dethrone Henry. Dreamer loses, which is not a surprise, but he's the perfect type of opponent to highlight Sabu's insanity. Sin Cara really needs to pick up some wins. ***** main event? Atta boy. Sheamus was the right man to go over. Was secretly rooting pretty hard for The Patriot though. 9/22: Necro Butcher is another great opponent for Sabu. Guy can take a ridiculous beating, and Sabu can give a ridiculous beating. Good match. Ha ha. Something about Dreamer losing to Raven always makes me laugh. Sin Cara wins! See, I just had to complain about it. Should be interesting opponents for Legacy... their style is just unique enough to possibly pull it off. That's the closest anyone has come to beating Henry. Double countout shows a chink in the armor (there's no Jeremy Lin here so this is not offensive) of the champion. Rematch!

9/8:
Great to see Sabu debut.
Didn't expect Negro to go over Dreamer. I wonder how this Alberto angle will play out in the end?
Henry just owns Punk. Punk should really rethink going back after Henry. I want to see the Patriot be the next challenger.
9/15:
I know so little about lucha that I would have assumed Markus was much smaller than Abyss. Little bits of info like that help me out as a reader.
Pretty big win for Sabu to show that he's higher up on the ladder than Dreamer. I could see him being pushed to the moon.
Interesting that this was Del Rio's first action in awhile and he was eliminated quickly. I was cheering for the Patriot, but I think you made the right choice in Sheamus. I don't think Sheamus will be the one to get the job done, however.
9/22:
You're giving Sabu a series of opponents that help highlight Sabu's strengths. Good job on that.
Poor Dreamer. Never going to get that win over Raven.
Major upset for Sin Cara and Super Crazy. Looks like the Hardys are having more success in singles as of late. Maybe it's time for them to break up?
That's the first time I can recall Henry showing some weakness. Sheamus was pretty close to dethroning him here. Maybe we are about to see a title change?
Good run of shows.

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we'll see the #1 tag contenders face off against the Tag Team Champions in a pair of singles matches, plus Sheamus and Mark Henry will have a re-match for the Heavyweight Title. Let's get down to the ring for our first match!
Super Crazy vs. Ted DiBiase
DiBiase did a good job shutting down Super Crazy's lucha libre based offense. It was all over once he locked in the Million Dollar Dream, which his father Ted Sr. made sure his son was a master at.
Ted DiBiase made Super Crazy submit to the Million Dollar Dream in 0:08:33. Rating: ** 1/4
After Jerry Lynn is announced, out comes Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio says that tonight he has a very special treat for everyone in attendance. He'll be getting into the ring himself to wrestle Jerry Lynn tonight. What a treat!
Jerry Lynn vs. Alberto Del Rio
Things started out with Del Rio playing to the crowd until Jerry Lynn got sick of it and attacked Del Rio. Lynn stayed on top of things for a little while, but Del Rio started to turn things around in his favor when he nailed Lynn with a German suplex out of nowhere. Once he got control, he was relentless and he took it out on every part of Jerry Lynn's body until he finally locked in the Cross Armbreaker, forcing Lynn to submit.
Alberto Del Rio made Jerry Lynn submit to the Cross Armbreaker in 0:09:27. Rating: *** *
Raven's music hits and out comes Raven. Raven calls out Sabu. Sabu slowly makes his way to the ring. Raven says that he has a proposition for Sabu. He knows what kind of person Sabu is. He's hardcore, ultra-violent and Raven knows exactly where Sabu belongs. Sabu belongs in the Damned. Raven asks Sabu to join him. Sabu looks like he's considering it, but leaves without giving Raven an answer either way.
Sin Cara vs. Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes started in control of this match and didn't let it go. He seemed to have an answer for everything. Everything until Sin Cara caught him off guard with a small package which stunned him just barely enough for a three count.
Sin Cara pinned Cody Rhodes after a small package in 0:07:19. Rating: *** 1/2
After the match Cody tries to go after Sin Cara, but he gets out of the ring. Cody grabs the ref and sends him flying over the top rope in a fit of rage.
Main Event: Re-Match "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry
This match was a battle of two titans. Both men are the strongest currently in Bodyslam Pro Wrestling and it showed. Each one trying to out power the other one. Two alpha males taking it to each other as hard as they can. Nobody in BPW has been able to handle Mark Henry like Sheamus has. It wasn't as evident last week in their double countout, but Sheamus proved tonight that he can actually handle the World's Strongest Man and give him a run for his money. Sheamus went for the Brogue Kick, but Henry managed to get out of the way and Sheamus crotched himself on the top rope. Henry pulled him off and hit the World's Strongest Slam before Sheamus could fully recover to get the three count and retain his Heavyweight Title.
[Main Event: Re-Match]: Mark Henry pinned Sheamus with the World's Strongest Slam in 0:17:12. Rating: *** (Mark Henry retained the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title.)
And Mark Henry once again retains his Bodyslam Heavyweight Title after a hard fought match. Join us next week when Jerry Lynn faces Raven in a Raven's Rules match, CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio will face off to decide the #1 contender to Mark Henry's Heavyweight Title and Sin Cara & Super Crazy face Tag Team Champions Legacy in a ladder match!

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we've got four great matches lined up for you tonight including a Raven's Rules match, a #1 contender match and a ladder match for the Tag Team Titles. Let's get to ringside for our first match up.
Gran Markus Jr vs. "Cold Blood" Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy came into this match a little over confindent and it allowed Gran Markus Jr. to get in some offense before Hardy finally turned it around and hit the Twist of Fate to finish things off.
Matt Hardy pinned Gran Markus Jr. after the Twist of Fate in 0:06:14. Rating: ** 1/4
Raven's Rules Jerry Lynn vs. Raven
Jerry Lynn got off to a great start, catching Raven by surprise. He really gave Raven a run for his money in his own gimmick match until Sabu came down to the ring with a chair wrapped in barbed wire! He clocked Jerry Lynn with it, busting him open and allowing Raven to hit the Evenflow DDT for the pin.
[Raven's Rules]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Raven pinned Jerry Lynn with the Evenflow DDT in 0:09:56. Rating: *** * [Sabu interfered against Jerry Lynn.]
After the match Raven extends his hand to Sabu and Sabu accepts the handshake! Sabu has just joined the Damned!
#1 Contender Match CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio
This match started with Del Rio attacking CM Punk before the bell. He knew this was a big opportunity for him and he wasn't about to let it slip through his fingers. Rumor has it he bought his way into this match, but that can't be varified. The two put on quite a performance. A lot of give and take, close calls. Alberto got clocked with a high kick to the head from Punk which he used to set up the GTS for the win and another shot at Mark Henry and his Bodyslam Heavyweight Title.
Number-One-Contenders-Match: CM Punk pinned Alberto Del Rio with the GTS in 0:12:54. Rating: *** * 1/4
Main Event Ladder Match for the Bodyslam Tag Team Titles Sin Cara & Super Crazy vs. Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) (c)
Legacy might be a well oiled tag machine, but they were facing two men, who while they might not be a veteren tag team, are two luchadores and there for far from the style of wrestling that they are used to wrestling. Their high flying style lended itself well to the style of match it was with Legacy trying to counter their speed with strength. They used the ladder as a weapon when they could or in the case of Sin Cara and Super Crazy, a launching point. In the end it was Cody Rhodes and Sin Cara at the top of the ladder slugging it out until Rhodes shoved Sin Cara off, causing him to land on Super Crazy and allowing Rhodes to retrieve the Bodyslam Tag Team Title Belts.
[Main Event]: Ladder Match: Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase) defeated Sin Cara and Super Crazy in 0:18:11. Rating: *** 1/4 (Legacy retained the Bodyslam Tag Team Titles.)
What an evening here at BPW. Join us next week when we'll see the Patriot in action against one half of the tag team champions, Tommy Dreamer faces Sabu, Raven squares off against Necro Butcher in a Raven's Rules match and in the main event a non-title match featuring Bodyslam Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry. Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we've got Mark Henry in non-title action, a Raven's Rules match featuring Raven and Necro Butcher and Tommy Dreamer will take on Sabu, but first let's get down to the ring for our opening match.
The Patriot vs. Cody Rhodes
The match starts off slow withthe Patriot getting the crowd behind him. He does a good job controlling the pace early on, but Rhodes turned things around until he got blasted with the Patriot Missile, which the Patriot followed up with the Uncle Slam, getting the win over one half of the tag team champions.
The Patriot pinned Cody Rhodes with the Uncle Slam in 0:09:03. Rating: *** 1/4
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. "The Human Highlight Reel" Sabu
This match wasn't a hardcore match, but when you have two wrestlers who know hardcore like the back of their hand, you know it's still going to be a violent outing. Sabu brought a chair into the mix on the outside, but was smart enough to just use it as a launching point for a leg lariat. At one point Tommy Dreamer drove Sabu through a table that was set up ring side with a back suplex. He dragged Sabu back into the ring and hit the Dreamer DDT, but could only get two. Sabu mounted a comeback after this, hitting some high risk moves, notably an Asai leg lariat and he used to set up the Triple Jump Moonsault.
Sabu pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:12:33. Rating: *** 3/4
Alberto Del Rio makes his way out to the ring in a gold colored track suit with a white ascot and demanded that he be given a microphone. He demands that he be given a re-match against CM Punk who unfairly won last week's #1 contender match. He says he's not sure how it was unfair, but he knows that it had to be for Punk to come out with the win. CM Punk comes out and says that if he wants to get beaten again then it's fine with him and next week we'll have a #1 contender re-match!
Raven's Rules Necro Butcher vs. Raven
Raven attacked Necro Butcher before the bell, trying to get the early advantage, knowing that this kind of match was right up the Butcher's alley. It wasn't long before Butcher pulled out the staple gun and gave Raven a few staples before giving himself a few as well. Butcher hit a Splash Mountain for a two count. Raven took a powder outside and grabbed a chair. Necro Butcher stuck his head out of the ropes in order to exit the ring, but Raven nailed him with a hard shot to the head, knocking Butcher down. Raven slides the chair in the ring and then slides in himself before planting Necro Butcher with the Evenflow DDT onto the chair.
[Raven's Rules]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Raven pinned Necro Butcher with the Evenflow DDT in 0:07:15. Rating: *** 1/4
Main Event Non-Title Match Gran Markus Jr vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry
It was a non-title match, but still, it's rare for Henry to go up against someone of Gran Markus Jr's size. He couldn't match Henry's strength and power though and Mark Henry was able to have his way in the match right up until the World's Strongest Slam.
[Main Event: Non-Title Match]: Mark Henry pinned Gran Markus Jr. with the World's Strongest Slam in 0:05:02. Rating: 1/4*
What a night! Join us next week when we'll see both Hardy Boys in singles action, a Raven's Rules tag match between Dreamer & Lynn and Raven and Sabu of the Damned and in the main event a #1 contender re-match between Alberto Del Rio and the current #1 contender CM Punk. We'll see you then!

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling once again. Tonight's card features a BIG #1 contender re-match between Alberto Del Rio and the rightful #1 contender CM Punk. Not to mention a Raven's Rules tag match, but first, let's get down to the ring for our opening matches.
The Patriot vs. "Cold Blood" Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy started out strong in this match and quickly took the action to the outside of the ring. After throwing the Patriot around on the outside he rolled him back into the ring and tried to finish the match but Patriot struggled and managed to not get locked into the Ice Pick. That's when the Patriot turned it on and started to get in some great offense, using the Patriot Missile to set up the Uncle Slam for three.
The Patriot pinned Matt Hardy with the Uncle Slam in 0:09:44. Rating: *** * 1/4
Jimmy Jacobs vs. "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy
One Hardy brother had already gone down and that had to be resonating with Jeff as he comes into this match up with the often underestimated Jimmy Jacobs. Hardy pushed a fast pace and for a while, Jacobs was able to keep up. Unfortunately, it proved just a bit too much for him. He kicked out of a flying sunset flip attempt, but was caught with a huge dropkick to the side of the head while Jacobs was still seated, setting Jeff up for the Swanton Bomb and the win.
Jeff Hardy pinned Jimmy Jacobs with the Swanton Bomb in 0:09:39. Rating: *** 1/2
Raven's Rules Tommy Dreamer & Jerry Lynn vs. The Damned (Raven & Sabu)
The term "four man cluster fuck" would aptly describe this match. Being Raven's Rules, there were no rules, and there for everyone was the legal man. There was a lot of brawling and a lot of weapons during the course of this match. Everything from a chair to a tire iron. Everytime someone seemed close to ending the match, the pinfall would be broken. Tommy Dreamer nailed Raven with the Singapore cane and it looked like it was over. Jerry Lynn jumped onto Sabu with a huge plancha and Dreamer brought Raven up for the Dreamer DDT, but instead Raven hit Tommy in his often targeted balls and took him out with the Evenflow DDT!
[Raven's Rules]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: The Damned (Raven and Sabu) defeated Tommy Dreamer and Jerry Lynn when Raven pinned Dreamer with the Evenflow DDT in 0:11:12. Rating: *** * 1/4
Main Event #1 Contender Re-Match CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio
Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk started off by sizing each other up. They did a few quick give and take spots with neither man seeming to get the advantage over the other. It also wasn't long until one of Alberto Del Rio's cronies that he has been hiring, Psicosis, came to the ring. Punk didn't notice him at first, but after hitting a huge uranage on Rio, he finally saw that Psicosis was keeping a watchful eye ringside. He turned around right into a forearm from Del Rio and a quick Michinoku Driver for two. Del Rio didn't give CM Punk an inch, but he made the mistake of locking in the Cross Armbreaker too close to the ropes and the hold had to be broken. Del Rio looked to be trying for another Michinoku Driver, but Punk countered with a small package for two and then ate a kick to the head as Del Rio got up a fraction of a second before Punk. Psicosis stole one of the television monitors from the ringside table and ripped the cords out from the back, sliding it into the ring for Del Rio as Psicosis got up on the apron to distract the ref. Punk ducks the shot and hits a dropkick to the legs of Del Rio... Shining Wizard!! The ref turns back around, one... two... three!
[Main Event]: Number-One-Contenders-Match: CM Punk pinned Alberto Del Rio after a Shining Wizard in 0:14:48. Rating: *** * 1/4 [Psicosis interfered against CM Punk.]
Right after the match Psicosis slides in the ring and tries to attack Punk, but he's met with a kick to the midsection and eats the GTS!
What a night! CM Punk is still our #1 contender for Mark Henry and his Bodyslam Heavyweight Title. Next week he'll find himself once again across the ring from the World's Strongest Man and we'll be right here for it and three other great matches. We'll see you then!

9/29:
I assume that the tag champs and #1 contenders are going to split matches, and DiBiase over Super Crazy is probably the best choice.
Ha ha. What a treat! Glad Del Rio actually wrestled. Even more glad that he won.
That's going to get you a fine, Cody!
Henry continues his dominance. He's getting close to a year with the gold. Not bad at all.
10/6:
Oh, Matt Hardy. You're such a silly man.
Well, we got Sabu's answer. He's with Raven. My only question is how well it meshes as Sabu tends to do his own crazy thing a lot. Could lead to some interesting tv.
Punk getting another shot... I have mixed feelings about that at this point. Don't get me wrong, Punk is awesome... he's just not shown he can beat Henry. I don't think this time will be any different.
Ladder match sounded good. Glad to see Legacy keep winning.
10/13:
Patriot pins Rhodes... maybe Patriot getting a tag partner to challenge for the belts soon?
Sabu is nuts.
Oooh... Punk putting his top contendership back on the line against Del Rio. Not sure how it was unfair made me laugh.
Poor Necro Butcher.
Henry squashes Gran Markus.
10/20:
Patriot beating a lot of tag specialists recently. Hmmm....
Jeff does what his brother couldn't, and that's win.
Lol... "often targeted balls." Put it on a t-shirt!
Hot main event. Even with help, Del Rio couldn't quite get the job done. I can see Del Rio getting involved in Punk's title match. He's kind of a poor loser.

9/29: Feels like it's been awhile since we've seen DiBiase. Or Rhodes for that matter. Odd that Lynn is the first one worthy of Del Rio. I wonder why that is? Did like that he told crowd they'd be getting a special treat by watching him wrestle. I was coming around to the thought that Sheamus might be the one to unseat Henry. Guess not. I sure hope Punk doesn't beat Del Rio. 10/6: Didn't expect Sabu to join the Damned. I thought it would be dragged out for awhile before he laid out Raven. Interesting twist. Feels like you need some more main event faces. Punk is going to get eaten by Henry once again. I was really hoping for Del Rio to pull this one off to get some new blood into the main event. Sin Cara and Super Crazy make a fun tag team, but I'm glad Legacy went over. 10/13: The Patriot going over Rhodes is nice. I want him to go after Henry at some point for an extended feud. Nice of Raven to send Sabu after Dreamer. Don't know if I've ever seen a #1 contender's re-match. Hopefully Rio can pull this one out. You've built Henry up as one of the most unbeatable World Champs I've ever seen in a circuit. Great job. 10/20: Love The Patriot continuing his push. Ha! Raven will be beating Dreamer when they are in the nursing home. Great match between Punk and Del Rio, and it looks like Punk will face Henry once again. He definitely earned it this time. I have mixed feelings on if I would want to see him beat Henry this time or not.

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we've got four great matches lined up for you including CM Punk facing Mark Henry for the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title once again in the main event, but first let's get down to the ring for out opener.
The Patriot vs. "The Monster" Abyss
Abyss has been quite a force since entering into the BPW, but the Patriot was fired up and gave him quite a fight. They exchanged blows and it seemed like the Patriot was getting the better of the Patriot until he ran into the ropes and was met with the Black Hole Slam.
Abyss pinned The Patriot with the Black Hole Slam in 0:10:33. Rating: ***
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. "The Littlest Lumberjack" Grizzly Redwood
Dreamer came out with a chip on his shoulder, assumably from losing last week thanks to a nut shot. He attacked Redwood before the bell, hit a swinging neckbreaker and then ended things quickly with the Dreamer DDT.
Tommy Dreamer pinned Grizzly Redwood with the Dreamer DDT in 0:00:18. Rating: *
Jimmy Jacobs vs. TAKA Michinoku
Jimmy Jacobs started the match off pretty well, managing to get on the offensive quickly. He used a simple, but effective strategy without much high risk. Jimmy ran into the ropes and TAKA ducked a clothesline, when Jimmy came back TAKA hit a drop toe hold and scrambled on top of Jacobs to latch on the Just Facelock. Jacobs tried to hold on, but just couldn't and was forced to submit.
TAKA Michinoku made Jimmy Jacobs submit to the Just Facelock in 0:11:20. Rating: *** * 1/4
Main Event Bodyslam Heavyweight Championship Title Match CM Punk vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry (c)
Punk kicked off the match with a barrage of punches, chops and kicks to the leg, knowing that he had to neutralize the unbeaten beast that is Mark Henry. Punk has found himself on the otherside of the ring from Henry quite a number of times since the BPW re-opened back in January, but each time Punk has gotten closer and closer to taking the World's Strongest Man down. Unfortunately, tonight once again wouldn't be the night that he got it accomplished. This time due to Alberto Del Rio appearing and sending Abismo Negro and Psicosis down to the ring to interfere. Abismo Negro hit Punk in the back with a chair as Psicosis distracted referee Alan Fidler and Mark Henry hit the World's Strongest Slam and finished this match early.
[Main Event]: Mark Henry pinned CM Punk with the World's Strongest Slam in 0:02:26. Rating: ** 3/4 (Mark Henry retained the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title.) [Abismo Negro interfered against CM Punk.]
Mark Henry had no interest is sticking around and he took his belt and left and Alberto Del Rio ordered Psicosis and Abismo Negro to lay a beating into Punk as he watched and mocked Punk. All of the sudden out runs Sheamus! Sheamus hits the ring and Alberto Del Rio immediately heads for the hills! Sheamus Brogue Kicks the chair into Abismo Negro's face and then catches Psicosis as he comes off the top rope with a flying cross body block and tosses him to the outside, landing him hard on the concrete around the ring! Punk isn't quite sure what to make of this as he recovers and Sheamus doesn't seem to be itching to give an explination, but the crowd seems to be happy with him and his action in saving their hero CM Punk.
What a night! It seems Sheamus has turned over a new leaf and in fact we've just learned that Sheamus and CM Punk will be teaming up next week to take on Del Rio's cronies Abismo Negro and Psicosis, not to mention Mark Henry in non-title action. We'll see you then!

I was pulling for The Patriot, but he just had no chance against Abyss. I think Abyss has to face off against Henry before long.
Poor Grizzly.
At least Punk didn't lose cleanly this time. Henry needs to move on to a new challenger, but I like that Alberto Del Rio got himself involved in the match. Sheamus turning babyface is good, but I don't know how well he'll be able to get along with Punk. Still, great ending angle to the show.

That was probably the best effort anyone has had against Abyss. Still, no doubt Abyss was winning. Elevate the man!
Slow Dreamer heel turn?
TAKA wins a match between two guys who are just kind of there at this point.
Disappointed that the main event didn't even go 3 minutes, but the post-match angle and Sheamus turn were good. This should busy up Punk & Sheamus for awhile, so we need a new challenger for Henry.

I'm liking Del Rio's little group. I may have missed it but unless you've specified elsewhere but is this Psicosis masked? I hope because he and Abismo would make the coolest cronies that way.
I think the Sheamus turn will lead to him toppling Henry. But I'm not sure if I even want anyone beating Henry ever.
