NAWA Glory 1/5/07
Two days ago, Harry Harris pinned Miles Stylish through dubious means. Tonight, they’ll be on opposite sides in a six man tag team match when Team 3D teams with Harry Harris to take on Miles Stylish, Jerry Lynn, and Ron Killings. Plus, Teddy Hart is still the NAWA World Champion, in an Empty Arena Match that is too graphic to show on television. Also tonight, the NAWA Television Champion Sederick Skyhawk and the NAWA Tag Team Champions the Rottweilers take on AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Bryan Danielson.
Ariane Mason vs. Mia Stylish
Ariane Mason is a member of the NAWA Training School, getting a chance to go against the number one contender for the NAWA Women’s Championship. She manages to really get some decent offensive moves, but Mia Stylish is focused and rather ready for her match with Awesome Kong right at Luck of the Draw. Mason misses a leg lariat off of the ropes and Mia Stylish swoops in from underneath, hitting a crisp Northern Lights Suplex for the pin.
Mia Stylish pinned Ariane Mason after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:06:40.
Rating: ***
Mia Stylish gets the win but Larry Sweeney is standing right on the ramp, taunting Stylish but the NAWA Women’s Champion Awesome Kong enters the ring and Kong nails Stylish right in the back of the head and begins beating her down. Stylish manages to fight back, before sending Kong flying right into the corner with a dropkick. Kong is beaten down right in the corner with Stylish pounding on her with a series of punches, as the fans are going absolutely nuts, as Stylish applies a sleeperhold to Kong, trying to scissor her body but Larry Sweeney enters the ring, grabbing Stylish by the hair, pulling her from Kong. This distraction allows Kong to nail Stylish with a violent spinning back fist and now Kong scoops up Stylish, before dumping her right over the top rope.
Stylish is down on the floor and Kong continues to beat on her on the floor, before slamming her ring into the ring steps! Kong looks crazed and sadistic and she is pulling back the mats on the floor, exposing the concrete. Kong drags Mia Stylish right onto the ring apron and Kong sets up Stylish. HUGE POWER BOMB OFF OF THE APRON RIGHT ONTO THE CONCRETE FLOOR!
The fans go into a hush, as the back of the head of Mia Stylish just has been splattered right onto the hard floor. Kong looks at her foe, with a sadistic pleasure. She is unmoving and Larry Sweeney looks pleased, putting the bad mouth on Mia Stylish. Out comes officials from the back, as Kong steps right over onto Mia Stylish, about ready to give her more of a savage beating, but Miles Stylish is out from the back, to check on his sister and he yells at Sweeney, who nods and tells Kong to back off. Obviously Larry Sweeney has some respect for Miles Stylish, so he requests Kong to back off. Gail Kim is out from the back, as are various other women wrestlers, and Gail Kim and Kong have a stare down.
Paramedics are out from the back as Miles Stylish paces around, yelling at his unmoving sister, calling her a moron for trying to fight Kong and now look out what happened. Then paramedics are out, with a backboard, as they strap Mia Stylish right into it. Mia is yelling that she can’t feel her legs and Miles is yelling that this is all her fault and yells that this is why women shouldn’t be allowed in the ring, especially with a “circus freak like Kong” but he seems less than composed, as Mia Stylish is wheeled down the ramp. This is brutal beating tonight, but the show must go on tonight on NAWA Glory.

Shawn Stasiak is getting bitched out about what happened last week, instead of one challenger at Luck of the Draw, Sederick Skyhawk has to deal with two. Sederick Skyhawk defends against AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels in a Triple Threat Match for the NAWA Television Title right before the Luck of the Draw match. Skyhawk says that he will win the Luck of the Draw match regardless, but Shawn Stasiak better shape up pretty soon or he won’t work in this town, or any other. Candace says Stasiak is to sit in the back and watch the next match and he might actually learn something. Coming up next, six man tag team match, with NAWA Television Champion Sederick Skyhawk and the NAWA Tag Team Champions the Rottweilers taking on AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Bryan Danielson.

AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Bryan Danielson vs. NAWA Tag Team Champions the Rottweilers and NAWA Television Champion Sederick Skyhawk
Lots of high impact back and forth action, with Danielson outwrestling the other three competitors in the early stages. Eventually Christopher Daniels is caught right in the corner and beaten down, with Low Ki trying to utterly kick in the head of Daniels and a nice double foot stop. Skyhawk hits a vicious DDT but misses an elbow drop. Hot tag to AJ Styles, who runs wild, beating everyone up. A nice springboard dropkick puts down Skyhawk down but Homicide lariats Styles down for a two count. Homicide beats on Styles and Gringo Killa is avoided but Styles hits the Pele Kick and to the outside. Springboard 450 Splash but Low Ki breaks up the pin with a double foot stomp. Danielson takes out Low Ki and tope suicida puts him down. Skyhawk grabs the ankle of Styles as he tries for the Styles Clash right on Homicide and this allows Homicide to go low and hit the Gringo Cutter, managing to hold Styles down for the pin after a rocking six man tag team match.

The Rottweilers and Sederick Skyhawk pick up the win tonight on Glory. Plus all six of these men will be in the Luck of the Draw Match.
Backstage:
Dan Marion is backstage, having a few words with Miles Stylish, who is in a slightly agitated mood. Stylish says he doesn’t want to focus on what happened earlier tonight, but rather he wants to focus on tonight’s six man tag team match. On Wednesday, Harry Harris managed to sneak by with the win but tonight Miles Stylish will find a way to pin Harry Harris in the six man tag team match. He states that he will win the Luck of the Draw Match and he will win the NAWA World Title for the third time at Reality Check. Whether it be Teddy Hart or Kurt Angle, it doesn’t matter, as he has unfinished business with both. Marion speculates the possibility of how big it would be if Kurt Angle won the NAWA World Title and Miles Stylish won the Luck of the Draw Match and we could have Stylish-Angle II for the NAWA World Title. Stylish says whoever the champion, he’ll beat him after he beats twenty nine other wrestlers.

The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Elix Skipper and Petey Williams
The Briscoe Brothers are jeering and mocking the Motor City Machine Guns from the ramp, as there has been some heat between these two teams over the past couple of weeks. An extended beatdown in the ring on Chris Sabin after some early tag team action, with one false hot tag but Elix Skipper misses a flying kneedrop, allowing the hot tag to be made. Shelley runs wild, a house of fire. Petey Williams gets launched to the floor and the Cradle Shock from Sabin sets up Elix Skipper in perfect position for a breath taking frog splash from Alex Shelley to score the pin.

Backstage
We are in the office of Richard Ramos Ricardo, NAWA Commissioner, where Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger show up. Diamond talks about how they were overlooked to be part of the Alumni Battle royal despite being former two time NAWA World Tag Team Champions. Because of that, Simon’s got a problem. Ricardo apologizes for the oversight but offers them a match tonight with the Briscoe Brothers. If they win, they get a year contract at double their old pay and an NAWA World Tag Team Title Shot at any point in time. Swinger and Simon look pleased, promising to take off those two little sawed off runts tonight.
We cut elsewhere backstage, where Disco Inferno is standing by, talking about all his accomplishments. He states that he brought future NAWA World Champions such as Ron Waterman, Raven, and Miles Stylish into the company as Commissioner. He held the NAWA Xtreme Title twice, brawling with such competitors such as New Jack and the Sandman and he set such a standard for hardcore wrestling that the title had to be retired. He talks about how he pinned the legendary Ricky “the Dragon” Steamboat in the center of the ring in the New Age Wrestling Alliance. He also helped put an end to Goldberg’s storied undefeated streak back in the glory days of WCW. And now he’s going to become the next NAWA World Champion after winning the Luck of the Draw, whether it be Teddy Hart or Kurt Angle. He says that Kurt Angle might have won an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken freaking neck, but Disco could have won with every bone in his body and the Hart Dungeon was a funhouse compared to the mean streets of Brooklyn. Disco seems confident but there are twenty nine other competitors in that match that are likely just as confident.

Lorlei Lee and Josie vs. NAWA Women’s Champion Awesome Kong(w/Larry Sweeney)
Kong’s two unfortunate opponents decide to throw all caution to the wind and beat her up, which works for about a minute, perhaps less, before Kong decides to murder them. The announcers talk about how Mia Stylish has been taken to the hospital, with her career in doubt, and Kong now decimates her two opponents, toying with them like a cat toying with two oversized mice, before she obliterates both of them with huge Awesome Bomb. Kong stacks them up and pins them both.
Handicap-Match:
Awesome Kong defeated Josie and Lorelei Lee when Kong pinned Lee with the
Awesome Bomb in 0:02:50.
Rating: * ½
Awesome Kong gets the win, as the announcers hope to have a more clear word about Mia Stylish and hopefully be for certain whether the NAWA Women’s Title Match will take place at Luck of the Draw, although it does not seem likely on January 21st 2007. Awesome Kong is like nothing that has ever been seen in women’s wrestling, and even two women, she destroyed them.
Backstage:
Miles Stylish is getting ready backstage, when Jerry Lynn pops up. Lynn tells Stylish that he better have his head in tonight’s match, because he’s looking for the win tonight. Stylish says that Lynn should hold up his end of the match as well, and Lynn should know that Stylish doesn’t have any problems getting things done in the ring. Ron Killings pops up, telling them to cool it, as they’ve got a match and if they don’t focus on Team 3D and Harry Harris, the grits are going to hit the pan so to speak. Killings talks about how last week on this program, he was cheated out of getting a win over Harry Harris. Tonight, Harris is going to get all busted up and busted down and he will rattle the cage and take him down town like a clown. Killings says that if Lynn and Stylish take down Team 3D, they’ll have no problems, but if they don’t hold it, they’re going to get funky like a chicken and get busy with it, if they know what he’s saying. Lynn and Stylish look obviously like they don’t know what he’s saying. Tonight Jerry Lynn, Miles Stylish, and Ron Killings team on Team 3D and Harry Harris in a six man tag team match, as all six of these men will be part of the Luck of the Draw Match.

The Briscoe Brothers vs. Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger
Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger are after a contract to return to the New Age Wrestling Alliance, so they batter Mark Briscoe, trapping him into the corner. A nice power bomb/neckbreaker combination attack drills Mark Briscoe down for a close nearfall and now Diamond hits a violent superkick but Mark is in the ropes. Mark fights out and hot tag to Jay Briscoe, who is a house of fire, punching anything in the mouth that moves. Jay goes for the Jay Driller on Swinger, but Diamond rushes in. Mark Briscoe enters the ring and the Briscoe Brothers dump Simon to the floor, before they set up Swinger for the Doomsday Device to get the pin. No contracts today for Simon and Swinger.

The Motor City Machine Guns are on the ramp and the Briscoe Brothers stare down at them from the ring. Both teams jaw back and forth, but security is out to keep them apart, the moment any physicality is hinted out. Both teams are out for a shot at the NAWA World Tag Team Champions the Rottweilers, Homicide and Low Ki. And both teams scored wins tonight, so a battle between these two teams is inevitable in the coming weeks. All four men will be in the Luck of the Draw Match.

Harry Harris is standing by backstage with Dan Marion. Two days ago , step three in his five step program to regain the NAWA World Championship occurred. Harris talks about how last year he won the Luck of the Draw Match and for the second year in a row, he’s going to win it and go onto win the NAWA World Title for the third time. Tonight, he knows he can trust Team 3D to watch his back in tonight’s six man tag team match. But at Luck of the Draw, he knows that he’s going to have to watch his back against twenty time other competitors, each wanting a shot at the NAWA World Title. Harris vows to win the Luck of the Draw Match and become the NAWA World Champion for the third time. Harris looks focused but the Luck of the Draw Match really could be anyone’s ball game right now. Six competitors in the Luck of the Draw meet in a few moments, in a six man tag team match, when Team 3D and Harry Harris take on Ron Killings, Jerry Lynn, and Miles Stylish

We are backstage in Larry Sweeney’s office where a seedy little man with dirty blond hair dressed in a pinstripe suit shows up, introducing himself as Professor Boris Zerkov, who in no way bears any resemblance to Lord Napoleon formally of the French Revolution. No sir. He talks about how forty years ago, the Soviet Union created the perfect professional wrestler, through use of experiments, the perfect warrior, the destructive force, but he was trapped in suspended animation. In the year 2006, they uncovered the project, unfroze it and brought this Soviet Wrecking Machine in the United States. Zerkov announces the world might not know the name Karl Patrovsky, but they will. In walks an imposing looking man of nearly six feet seven inches tall, well over three hundred pounds, introduced as Karl Patrovsky, who is undefeated so far with a record of 192-0 according to Zerkov. Patrovsky looks menacing, as Zerkov sells this man as the ultimate force, the ultimate attraction, and the dominate force in the world. Larry Sweeney looks impressive, offering Zerkov and Petrosky contracts on a temporary basis and also a spot in the Luck of the Draw Match for Petrovsky. Zerkov looks pleased. Whatever his story, Karl Patrovsky seems for real and he’s the current champion in MWCW, the NAWA’s developmental system, a belt held by Miles Stylish, Harry Harris, and Sederick Skyhawk in the past, so he’s in good company.
We cut to Kurt Angle who is sitting in a gym, preparing for his NAWA World Title shot against Teddy Hart on January 21st at Luck of the Draw. Angle talks about how he won an Olympic Gold Medal despite breaking his neck but he entered wrestling, ready to go. He did everything that he could but was always treated as a goof and a disposable asset in WWE, but when he entered the New Age Wrestling Alliance, he figured that his career finally began. Luck of the Draw will be the night where he walks into the ring the challenger and walks out with the NAWA World Title. He’s seen Teddy Hart many times, watched many tapes, and he knows that Hart will give him a hell of a fight, but Angle thrives on competition and being the best. The NAWA World Championship means that he is the very best in the world at what he does and what Kurt Angle does is wrestle. He hopes that Teddy Hart is training hard and preparing, because Angle would be disappointed if he couldn’t beat Hart at anything better than his best. Angle prepares to return to his intense training. Kurt Angle challenges Teddy Hart for the NAWA World Title, January 21st at Luck of the Draw 2007.
Coming up next, the main event, six man tag team action, with Team 3D and Harry Harris taking on Ron Killings, Jerry Lynn, and Miles Stylish. More NAWA Glory right after this time out.

All six of these competitors will be in the Luck of the Draw Match. A wild first couple of moments, with Brother Ray knocking around Miles Stylish and then Killings, before throwing Killings into the corner and hitting a huge avalanche, before hitting a spinebuster and a series of elbow drops. Brother Ray stomps away at Killings and tag made to Devon. A double flapjack brings Killings down and Devon works over Killings but Devon gets tripped up and Killings takes out Devon with a huge leg lariat. Killings drops a knee and tag made to Lynn, who beats on him with a series of chops and some elbow strikes, before Lynn hits a running dropkick and a snap mare, before hitting a running neck snap. Tag made to Miles Stylish, and springboard clothesline. Stylish hammers away at Devon, before hitting him with a running elbow smash right in the corner. Stylish pounds away at Devon, hitting a swinging suplex. Some more quick tags right from Stylish and Lynn, keeping Devon right off balance. Lynn pulls out a tornado DDT on Devon for a two and a half count when Brother Ray makes the save.
Devon is pounded some more in the corner but he manages to avoid a charge from Stylish and spinebuster brings him down. Devon rolls himself over, towards the corner. Killings grabs the foot but Devon kicks him off and tag made to Harry Harris. Harris bolts right into the ring, fists of fire, knocking everyone around, cleaning house. He launches Stylish right over the top roe to the arena floor. Killings manages to catch Harris with a jumping side kick as he turns around for a two count. Killings beats on Harris with forearms and into the ropes. Head ducked and Harris uppercuts Killings, before going around and belly to back but Killings lands right on his feet. Double clothesline takes both men down to the canvas. Jerry Lynn attacks Harris on his feet and Brother Ray enters the ring, to take out Lynn. Miles Stylish is right on the ring apron, passing a chair right to Killings. Killings swings the chair but Harris ducks and DROPKICKS THE CHAIR RIGHT IN THE FACE OF KILLINGS! The chair slides out of view and Harris baseball slides Stylish right in the face and covers Killings to score the pin.

Team 3D and Harry Harris vs. Miles Stylish, Jerry Lynn, and Ron Killings

The fans are going absolutely nuts, as Stylish is trying to protest, but Harry Harris and Team 3D get the win. Killings is still out from getting a chair kicked right into his face and Lynn seethes, before he grabs the microphone. Jerry Lynn talks about the inept bumbling of Killings and Stylish costing them the match, so he challenges Harry Harris to a match, one on one, next week. Harris accepts the challenge. We hype Jerry Lynn against Harry Harris one on one next week, as we fade to black.
