I've been working on a circuit for the past 2 years with 600+ events booked. This circuit is entitled the "Cyber-Entertainment Wrestling Federation (CeWF). I've debated bringing it to the boards for a while, and have finally made a decision to do so.
I will give you a brief history here, and more will be revealed throughout the threads. Everything you read is in the guise of its own universe and reality
Time-wise, this circuit began in January 2010, and currently stands at June 24, 2013. It exists in a world where the WWE is gone, but Vince McMahon is still involved in entertainment, and everybody remembers him for being one of the greatest promoters of all time.
The circuit started with one television show, entitled CeWF Live!, and a number of house shows, as well as a number of PPV events.
The calendar is broken down into two seasons (January to June is Season Alpha, and July to December is Season Zeta). Each season is ended by a super PPV event; the Alpha event being "Super Slam" and the Zeta event being BattleCade), with a number of PPV events in between.
The roster started as hired, but then I opened it up to any wrestler of my choosing, but I do keep tabs on wrestler's retiring, and suspensions as I see fit.
The main title of the CeWF was the CeWF World Heavyweight Championship, until the creation of the CeWF's second brand, titled Unlimited! and the Unlimited Heavyweight Championship in July 2010.
Two months later, the CeWF started a third show/brand entitled Fusion!, which had a two league format based on wins and losses, and had talent that wasn't normally seen on CeWF television. Fusion's first season lasted 12 episodes and culminated with the crowning of the Hyper-Fusion and Neo-Fusion champions, respectively. Fusion's second season ended with Fusion broadcasting its first PPV entitled "Fury".
When CeWF Season 4 (Season Zeta 2) began, Fusion was made into the CeWF's third permanent brand, and was given a full roster in order to make it equal with the other brands. This meant that all three brands were promoting PPV events each month.
In December 2012, Shane McMahon was brought into the CeWF to work a program with CeWF owner and General Manager Scott Baron over control of Live, which resulted in Baron retaining control of Live, but the chairman of the CeWF, a man named Reed Hastings, announces that when Season 6 begins (Zeta 3), Vince & Shane McMahon will be in charge of the CeWF's fourth brand, titled SMACKDOWN (as a tribute to the WWE).
The PPV events that feature all brands are as followed:
THE CHAMPION CARNIVAL (runs at the beginning of May; similar to the WWE's Night of Champions where every match is a championship match; the highlight/main event of this event is a battle royal featuring all championships where the winner is granted 30 days of not having to defend their championship)
LETHAL LOTTERY (runs at the end of May, usually 3 weeks after the Champion Carnival). This event is a 8-team 6-man tag tournament where teams consist of one man from each brand (24 in total). Sometimes, the entire tournament will take place on PPV, while recently (2012), only semi-finals, the team final, and the Ultimate Final take place. The Ultimate Final is a triple threat elimination match between the winning team. The prize is a guaranteed primary championship match at Super Slam. The Lethal Lottery event began in 2011 after the Fusion brand was created (no LL in 2010)
SUPER SLAM (runs at the end of June) - the major event of the Alpha Season; involves matches from all brands; similar to Summer Slam
BATTLECADE - the major event of the Zeta Season; and considered to be the granddaddy event of the CeWF; it runs at the end of December and features all brands. The CeWF also tries to promote some marquee matches never seen before at these events (at one BattleCade, The Rock Vs John Cena does take place, you get the idea).
Live! airs on Monday nights on the F/X cable channel. Fusion airs on Tuesday nights on FUEL TV. Unlimited airs on Thursday nights on Fox Sports Net, and Smackdown will air on Friday nights on F/X.
There are a number of championships in the CeWF. Some of them have remained, been renamed, or discontinued all together (that will be in another post, probably the next post).
Each brand has a general manager, which may change at any point. Some brands have had multiple general manages, while one brand has had a continuous manager since its creation.
There is a draft that is held once a year (the week after BattleCade) where each brand competes for draft picks from other brands. There is also a trade week (usually the week after Super Slam) where each general manager can propose trades to the other brands.
I'll end this post by saying what I plan to do with these posts; I plan on bringing the current happenings of the CeWF into one thread, while bringing the history of the CeWF (2010-the end of June 2013) in another thread. This is a somewhat-original concept that I hope entertains you. Don't worry about not understanding any talent you don't know, or never heard of, because there will be an explanation for nearly everything, and if you want to know about something, all you have to do is ask.
Hopefully, I will see you all very soon.
