NAWA Glory 01/26/07
Still shots are shown of Luck of the Draw with Harry Harris winning the Luck of the Draw Match, despite being technically eliminated by the Gambler but since the referees were distracted by a battle between Samoa Joe and Abyss, the elimination did not happen. Miles Stylish, the Gambler, and finally Sederick Skyhawk were eliminated. Also Teddy Hart remains the NAWA World Champion, beating Kurt Angle in the closest match of his life.
We open up things on Glory, with "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins playing and out comes the man who will be challenging for the NAWA World Title on March 26th 2007 at Reality Check, Harry Harris. Harris cuts a promo, talking about how it is finally good to be back in the title picture, and over the past two years, he's had to live with someone else holding the belt he never technically lost, the NAWA World Championship. But March 26th 2007, it will be the night where the belt is coming home, where he becomes the NAWA World Champion for a third time. Harris congratulates Teddy Hart on having a good run but all good things must come to an end.
"Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi plays and out comes the NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart to loud cheers from the fans. Hart slides into the ring and we have a staredown, the match that is likely to happen come March 26th 2007. Hart talks about how over the past several months, he put the title on the line, night in and night out against some of the best competitors in the world, and he goes face to face with the former champion. Hart says it has been a good run but the run is not over and it won't end on March 26th 2007 at Reality Check.
Before this could go on any further. Candace Sweet comes out, with Sederick Skyhawk, Shawn Stasiak, and Tomko, yelling that a crime was committed last Sunday. Her legal counsel reviewed the video tape and it is obvious that Harry Harris was thrown over the top rope and to the floor and technically the last man in the ring was Sederick Skyhawk, the NAWA Television Champion, so by all rights, he is the 2007 Luck of the Draw winner and should be facing the NAWA World Champion at Reality Check. Harris says if the referee didn't see it, it didn't happen, and Candace shrieks that Larry Sweeney come out and award her charge his rightful title match.
"Viva Las Vegas" kicks off and out comes the Gambler. The Gambler says that he doesn't really fault Harry Harris for what he did, he blames the situation on the brawl between Abyss and Samoa Joe but he has about as much claim to a title shot as Skyhawk. Skyhawk says that he was eliminated after the Gambler, so he has more of a claim for a title shot. "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top plays and out comes Miles Stylish, who tells them to all shut up and tells them that if anyone was screwed, it was him. He says the Gambler was incompetent by eliminating Harris when the referee wasn't looking. Stylish said he lasted to the very end, despite having a target on his back and if it wasn't for the Gambler's ineptitude, he would be about ready to go to Reality Check to face the champion. And Stylish says that Skyhawk entered at thirty, and did pretty much nothing until the end.
Harry Harris interrupts, saying that their arguments are all very nice but the fact remains that he is the number one contender, he is going to Reality Check, and face Teddy Hart for the title because as it went down in the record books, he won the 2007 Luck of the Draw Match. This argument brings out The NAWA Owner Larry Sweeney, who clarifies that Harry Harris is in fact the number one contender, officially. Sweeney says that there is one final Pay Per View before Reality Check, Blinded By Fury on February 12th and he'll throw Sederick Skyhawk, the Gambler, and Miles Stylish into a Triple Threat Match tonight on Glory to see who gets the title shot at Blinded by Fury. As for Harry Harris, well he'll have his own problems tonight, as he goes one on one with Abyss! Two huge matches are made for later tonight.

Daniels challenges Stasiak instead, saying that last time he fought Stasiak, he fell on his robe and was pinned in ten seconds. Tomko has the referee tied up and Sederick Skyhawk walks over to the brawl and has the NAWA Television Championship Belt, before he rushes forward and hits Daniels right in the head with it! Samoa Joe is out for his next match against a local talent, but he tells the local wrestler to take a hike because he has something to say and he's going to be merciful enough to spare an innocent soul of being murdered. Last Sunday, Samoa Joe talks about how he was in the Luck of the Draw Match, but he ran up against Abyss. He eliminated Abyss but Abyss distracted him, causing him to be eliminated from the match. Joe says that during his entire undefeated streak, he never had a match one on one with Abyss, which is a glaring omission that he'll correct, as he'll call Abyss out right now.
Larry Sweeney is out instead, saying that Joe should have found himself fortunate that he didn't wrestle Abyss, as his undefeated streak would have ended a lot sooner than it did. Sweeney says Abyss has a match tonight but if Joe is game enough, he'll make Samoa Joe against Abyss, the battle of the two most dominant forces in the New Age Wrestling Alliance one on one at Blinded by Fury. Joe tells Sweeney to tell Abyss that he'll get choked out just like pretty much everyone else.
AT THAT POINT, ABYSS ENTERS THE RING FROM UNDERNEATH IT AND NAILS JOE FROM BEHIND WITH A BASEBALL BAT! a guillotine choke in 0:03:23.
Rating: **
Killings gets on the microphone after the fact, talking about how last Sunday, he was cheap shotted once again and eliminated by Harry Harris. Killings talks about how Harris might think he is the big man in this grill, but the fur is going to fly like the sweat off of a hog and the fans are going to get greased, so Killings can throw down some fat on the pan. Killings declares that he's going to get Harry Harris and he is going to drag him down like a clown in the bad part of town. Killings says he'll see Harry Harris right in the ring soon and he's going to smack him down harder than entire bus of red headed step children if you know what he's saying. Ron Killings wants a piece of Harry Harris, the winner of the 2007 Luck of the Draw, and he's fired up.
We cut to the backstage area just moments after the main event of Luck and Draw, as Kurt Angle sits, pondering the result. He talks about how Teddy Hart really just got one right by him on that night. He says that he treated Hart like one of those sports entertainers up North and let his guard down. He won't be making that mistake again. Angle says that he will be the best, the NAWA World Title will be his, but Luck of the Draw was not the night. He has to get to the back of a rather long line but he'll work his way back up, he'll be better for the competition. He has to go back to the drawing board, as he prepares to see what his next move is. Angle shoos the camera man off.
