NAWA Glory 2/3/07
In the cold opening of the show, we see the Gambler signing autographs in the parking lot but suddenly a fan dressed in sunglasses and a trenchcoat moves discretely over, before giving the Gambler with a cheap shot with a cane. The Gambler goes down as we find out that's no fan, that's Miles Stylish. Stylish beats down the Gambler viciously in the parking lot, with the Gambler trying to fight back, but Stylish knees the Gambler in the face and German Suplexes him right on the concrete, before applying a dragon sleeper. Stylish yells that Gambler cost him the title and he's going to make him pay. Security runs out, as Stylish digs the knee right into the back, ranting about how the Gambler cost him two title shots and he doesn't deserve to be a contender. Miles Stylish is pulled off as medics tend to the Gambler.
Highlights of last week are shown, with Sederick Skyhawk managing to earn an NAWA World Title Shot by defeating Miles Stylish and the Gambler. Also, Harry Harris beats Abyss via disqualification when Ron Killings interfered. Samoa Joe makes the save and Joe and Harris go face to face.
Sederick Skyhawk, Tomko, Shawn Stasiak, and Candace Sweet of Sederick Skyhawk Productions are out. Skyhawk talks about how everyone is talking about Harry Harris against Teddy Hart, but he has a title shot before all that, he's not an afterthought. He says that Hart wouldn't be nothing without his last name but out comes Teddy Hart.
Hart puts over Skyhawk, saying that he has all of the talent in the world, calling him brilliant but lazy, because he has to hide behind an entourage and Hart says that until Skyhawk wins some matches standing on his own two feet, he'll lack something, respect. Hart says that Skyhawk reminds him of him a few years ago, where Hart had the Next Generation Hart Foundation, he had Jack Evans, Petey Williams, and Johnny Devine, they interfered in all of his matches but his career and his greatest glory never really began, until he ditched his lackeys. He's the NAWA World Champion right now.
Stasiak cuts in, calling Hart nothing but an overrated spot monkey which causes Candace to cringe and Stasiak says that Hart is about as big as his right leg. Stasiak says that Hart better learn his role and challenges him to a match. Candace tries to override this but Hart agrees, saying that he's always up for any kind of competition, and says that he could beat Stasiak with one hand tied behind his back. We have a match later tonight, the NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart against Shawn Stasiak on Glory.

Dan Marion is standing by with Samoa Joe. Marion asks Joe about last week, but Joe says that he came out to get his hands on Abyss, Harris being in the surrounding area was an unfortunate coincidence. There seems to be a lot of unfortunate coincidences involving Harris, Sweeney, and his men as of late, Joe suggests. Back at StarClash, Sweeney coming out to repair the cage, allowed Harris to use the wrench that lead to Samoa Joe's undefeated streak. Abyss distracted Joe at Luck in the Draw and allowed Harry Harris to eliminate Joe and then their battle prevented Harris from losing the Luck of the Draw Match.

Harris says he won't lose any sleep if Joe doesn't believe him, but his actions over the past four years should be proof enough for anyone. Danielson slips from the ring with the victory as Nigel McGuinness is absolutely beside himself in abject horror of having had a rare loss. Given that these two men are 1-1 against each other, no doubt a return match is forthcoming.
We cut to footage from earlier today, where the Motor City Machine Guns are just hanging out outside of the arena, when the Briscoe Brothers pull up in a battered old pick up truck with various animal pelts, caged chickens, guns, and a cooler of beer in the back, playing their theme song, "Gimme Back My Bullets" by Lynyrd Skynrd on their arrival on the truck radio. The Guns prepare themselves for a fight, but Jay says that they aren't here to fight, but here to bury the hatchet. Doi pulls up a German Suplex into a bridge but Kash kicks out. Killings grabs Harris and applies a guillotine choke right to him, wrenching on the neck. Harris is squirming in pain, and Killings is yelling in a crazed voice, "how do you like that Harris, you just got it now, how does it feel!" Security enters the ring as does Team 3D but Killings has a vice like grip, unblinking, crazy look in his eyes. Killings is dragged off finally, as Harry Harris is down on the canvas, favoring his neck. He lost nearly a year of his career with a neck injury and Killings aggravated the injury. Harris manages to struggle to his feet, grimacing, but he collapses down to his knees, as Team 3D curse the Rottweilers and Killings who stand at the aisle, with Killings striking a pose. Ron Killings will take on Harry Harris in nine days time at Blinded by Fury.
We fade right to a congressional hearing, about the banning of anything remotely fun and entertaining, with a bunch of stuffy old men and women playing congress. They say once entertainment is abolished, then they will have more money in their pockets. Suddenly, one of the congressman takes off their disguise to reveal a man dressed in white, with a mask with twos around the eye lids and two stripes down either sides. It's BOGO! Bogo immediately attacks all of the United States congress, laying them out handily with a series of swift moves. All of Congress is laid out, as BOGO does a triple jump, before he lands on his feet and removes a stamp, and stamps the word VETO all over the really heavy proposal.
"Beware, he is coming for those who will do evil that puts the chills in the hearts of most mortal men. Beware him, beware that he is BOGO. And he's coming in two weeks."

Abyss makes his way down to the ring for the next match with his opponent already in the ring but Samoa Joe ambushes Abyss right on the ramp! Abyss's opponent wisely decides to bail as Abyss and Joe continue to brawl right back into the ring. Joe has Abyss in the ring in the corner and he is chopping away. Larry Sweeney calls one of his other clients, Matt Bentley to the ring but Joe handily disposes of him with a Muscle Buster. Joe returns fire with Abyss.

Joe fights them off, but Ron Killings is out, with the numbers game finally getting the better of Samoa Joe. Joe is beaten down in the corner but he is fighting out, but Abyss gives him a Black Hole Slam. Joe for the second week in a row has been wasted by Abyss but this time Abyss had some help.
Coming up next, Shawn Stasiak takes on the NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart, great action tonight on Glory.
[COMMERCIAL]
Shawn Stasiak looks confident, but he's got to fight the NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart who has defeated some of the biggest, and best the New Age Wrestling Alliance had to offer. Teddy Hart is out, as he'll be defending that belt against Sederick Skyhawk at Blinded by Fury and the winner will defend against the 2007 Luck of the Draw winner Harry Harris at Reality Check. Before the match can begin, Candace tells everyone to hold up for a minute. She reminds us that earlier tonight, Teddy Hart made a claim that he could defeat Shawn Stasiak with one arm tied behind his back. If he's a true champion, surely there wouldn't be any harm in doing that? Unless Hart is scared. Hart is not going to back down, as things are paused, for a pair of ring crew members to bring down a rope, with Hart having his right arm tied right behind his back. Stasiak looks even more confident but being the NAWA World Champion, Teddy Hart is still a tough opponent even with one arm.
One Arm Tied Behind Teddy Hart's Back
Teddy Hart vs. Shawn Stasiak(w/Candace Sweet)
Stasiak charges Hart, but Hart leapfrogs out of the way and Stasiak hits the corner and dropkick by Hart! Hart is on his back, kicking away at the side of the head of Stasiak but he can't get him right up to his feet, with only one of his arms very quickly, so Hart opts to knee Stasiak right in the head. Stasiak is stomped right in the face but here comes Tomko right away. Hart is nailed right in the back of the head for the disqualification!
Teddy Hart defeated Shawn Stasiak by disqualification in 0:02:08.
Rating: 3/4*
Hart tries to untie himself to defend himself but Tomko obliterates him with a huge boot to the face. Out comes Kid Kash and Sederick Skyhawk. Hart is trying to defend himself managing to dropkick Stasiak to the floor to take him out of the equation but with one arm, the three on one assault is evident. Kash gives Hart a huge brain buster and Tomko picks him up, to give him a TKO! Skyhawk measures Hart and gives him a huge DDT, dropping him right onto his head! Skyhawk now is untying the rope, but only so he can tie both of Teddy Hart's arms behind his back. Hart is out of it, what is Skyhawk trying to prove?
Tomko and Kash hold Hart and Skyhawk slaps him three times right across the face! Skyhawk now orders his men to drop Hart and Skyhawk is standing right on the back of the head of Teddy Hart. Total and utter humiliation by the part of Sederick Skyhawk, as he declares that Hart is right beneath his feet, like he should be and Skyhawk is holding the NAWA World Title over his head, while he rubs the soles of his boots right in the face of the champion. Hart is out in the ring, more humiliated than beaten. He'll defend the NAWA World Title against Sederick Skyhawk at Blinded by Fury and it will be one on one with both arms this time. Yet knowing Skyhawk he has a devious trick or two up his sleeve.
The Gambler is walking backstage, ribs taped up, moving with a purpose. He'll be out next on NAWA Glory. Don't you dare touch that dial, more Glory right after these messages.
[COMMERCIAL]
The Gambler is down to the ring, ribs taped up but he says that Miles Stylish might have a problem with him. A real problem right now, as he beat him up and didn't finish the job. The Gambler says there are still a few minutes on this show and he wants a shot at Miles Stylish. Sure enough, Miles Stylish makes his way down to the ring, saying the Gambler should have quit why he is ahead. Twice, the Gambler cost him a chance to regain the NAWA World Title recently but this has happened a few times already. The Gambler thinking that he can hang in the ring with Miles Stylish. Stylish admits that the Gambler has learned a few new tricks over the years but nothing as good as anything Miles Stylish can do. Stylish is going to prove it by outclassing the Gambler once again.
The Gambler vs. Miles Stylish
The Gambler is fired up knocking Stylish around with a series of high impact moves in the early going, but Stylish quickly goes for the ribs with a series of uppercut shots, to stall his opening flurry. The Gambler is hunched over the ropes and Stylish goes to town with a series of stiff chops, rattling the chest but the Gambler returns fire and high back body drop. The Gambler favors his ribs and a pair of clotheslines rattle Stylish before the Gambler goes for a suplex but Stylish blocks it and pulls out a swinging snap suplex. Knees right to the ribs of the Gambler punishes him. Stylish throws the Gambler to the floor and tope suicida causes the Gambler's ribs to crack right against the guardrail. Stylish slams the Gambler into the ring post and more kicks to the ribs. Stylish enters the ring but the count is broken up at nine. Bodyscissors takedown by Stylish, working on the ribs and Stylish holds the bodyscissors, before hammering away at the ribs.
The Gambler is fighting out and the Gambler throws Stylish into the ropes. Spear brings Stylish down but the Gambler favors the injury. Gambler goes for the Triple Seven but Stylish counters with an inverted DDT! Stylish hits a fireman's carry into a gutbuster on the Gambler and bow and arrow submission hold applied! Stylish yells that he can end this at any time but like a pit bull, the Gambler is fighting out from underneath. The Gambler is up and he manages to pull off an overhead belly to belly suplex but that might have been the death knell to his ribs. Going up top however but Stylish shoves him off. The Gambler lands on the apron and forearm to Stylish. Springboard by the Gambler but Stylish counters with a leaping modified gutbuster, racking the Gambler's ribs once again. Stylish grabs the Gambler and goes for the Las Vegas Trauma but the Gambler slips out and ROLLS UP STYLSIH FOR A TWO AND NINE TENTHS COUNT!
The fans thought it was over and Stylish immediately clocks the Gambler with a running punt right to the injured body part. Stylish casually throws Gambler to the floor and pulls back the mats, before giving him a gourdbuster right on the exposed concrete. Gambler beats the count at nine and a half and kicks out at two and a half, but the sheer strain on the injury has caused Gambler to wheeze, barely able to draw any breath but he continues to fight out and double leg trip, and catapult right into the corner, right into an airplane spin but Gambler collapses and Stylish applies a dragon sleeper, adding the bodyscissors, to put the pressure on the ribs and stiff palm blows to the side of the Gambler. The Gambler is fighting and almost breaks the hold, but Stylish has it on tight. The referee checks the arm and it drops three times!
Miles Stylish defeated the Gambler when the Gambler passed out in a dragon sleeper in 0:13:21.
Rating: **** 1/4
Stylish grabs the microphone after the match and said once again, the Gambler gave a hard fight, but he's not(slaps Gambler)... good(slaps Gambler again)...ENOUGH(slaps Gambler the hardest!). He calmly states that the fans are going to cry themselves to sleep, with the Gambler having fallen short in defeating Miles Stylish yet again. Stylish looks down at the Gambler. Despite the injured ribs, the Gambler had a good fight. We fade out.
In the cold opening of the show, we see the Gambler signing autographs in the parking lot but suddenly a fan dressed in sunglasses and a trenchcoat moves discretely over, before giving the Gambler with a cheap shot with a cane.
