Solid debut for the new ROH on CMT. Bischoff coming out right in the beginning is quite the spectacle.
Is Finlay a regular on your ROH roster?
I wasn't a fan of Rhett going over Generico, but with the circumstances of Kenny King leaving his partner for TNA it makes sense to build him a little on his own.
I also think it would have been interesting if Steen had kept up with his current promise to end ROH. With all the trouble Cornette and ROH put him through before winning the championship, it would have been interesting to see him remain anti-ROH and pro-TNA without ever stepping foot in TNA. At the same time, this isn't really about TNA - it's about ROH getting better.
Overall, I'm enjoying your circuit and look forward to see how things merge with Bischoff as GM.

Finlay was doing some work with RoH & I was just using him to put over a young guy. Now that he is back as an agent with the WWE he will no longer be appearing. But I have plenty of surprises lined up in the weeks & months to come.

TNA Impact 7-12-2012The show opens with highlights from Destination X. After the video, Mike Teney & Taz talk about the match between TNA World Champion: Bobby Roode & Austin Aries. They are quickly interupted by Roode's music as the World Heavyweight Champion comes to the ring. Roode takes the ring announcer's microphone to address the crowd. BR: This past Sunday, I once again proved that I am the most dominant force not only in TNA, but, the entire professional wrestling industry. Austin Aries, I warned you that by you giving up the X-Division Title that it would be all risk & no reward. And while you may have given me one hell of a match, I beat you in the middle of the ring. Solidifying myself as the best. Just then, Austin Aries comes out to the ring & stands face to face with Roode. AA: Let's just get one thing straight. I came closer than anyone else to taking that title off your waist. For that reason alone, I deserve a rematch. I know your weaknesses now. I know exactly what it will take to beat you in this ring. BR: Well, it's just too bad that you won't get to find out. I'm ready to move on to another challenge. In other words, there will be no rematch. Hulk Hogan's music hits as the Impact General Manager steps out onto the entranceway, HH: I think I have a better idea, brother. You see, that match you had a Destination X was one of the best TNA Title matches I've ever seen. So here's the deal dudes, tonight, there will be a tag team match where you both get to pick your own partners. If bobby Roode's team wins, I'll find him a new #1 contender. But, if either Aries or his partner can beat Bobby Roode, then that is who will get the next title shot at Hardcore Justice. You both better hurry up & start looking for a partner, 'cuz that match will be tonight's main event. Bound For Glory Series: Mr. Anderson pinned Magnus with the Mic Check in 0:08:30. Rating: ** 3/4The camera catches up with Bobby Roode, who is on his cell phone. BR: Look, I know we haven't seen eye to eye all the time. i just know that you're the right man for the job tonight. When we team up, it won't matter who Aries picks. I'll find a way to make it worth your while. Alright, I'll see you in a bit. Bound For Glory Series: Samoa Joe made Hernandez submit to the Coquina Clutch in 0:12:05. Rating: **** 1/4Footage is shown highlighting the match from Destination X between Christian York & Kazarian. After the video, Christy Hemme is with the TNA World Tag Team Champions: Kazarian & Christopher Daniels. CH: Guys, up next you're going to take on 2 men that you have had serious problems with as of late. Kazarian, you & Christian York have developed quite a rivalry in a short time. And Daniels, your history with AJ Styles is well documented. CD: And now we get the chance to take out our frustrations on both of them at the same time. The 2 of us have formed a bond throughout the years. That's why we're the tag team champions. AJ & Christian don't even know one thing about each other. K: Christian York made the mistake of a lifetime by crossing us. That's a mistake we plan on making him regret for a long, long time. As for AJ Styles, tonight is just another in a long line of painful mistakes in his life. Maybe one day, he'll actually learn his lesson and stop turing his back on his friends. AJ Styles and Christian York defeated Christopher Daniels and Kazarian when York pinned Kaz with the Inverted Cross in 0:17:03. Rating: **** 1/4Backstage, Bully Ray is walking down the hall for the next match when he is attacked by Abyss. The 2 brawl wildly as crew & other wrestlers try to get out of the way, but, still get a good look. Ray gets the advantage & manages to shove Abyss into a storage cage in the bowls of the Imapct Zone. Ray then locks the door & blocks it with equipment cases, trapping "The Monster" inside. Ray the rushes off to the ring, leaving Abyss shaking the cage walls and roaring. Bound For Glory Series: Bully Ray pinned Rob Van Dam with the Bully Bomb in 0:10:27. Rating: *** 1/2Backstage, Austin Aries is surounded by a group of wrestlers. Each one is trying to tell him why the should be his partner for tonight's main event. Among them are Devon, Garrett Bischoff, Eric Young & Mr. Anderson. Aries pushes his way past them & tells them all that he will let the man he chooses know right before the main event. He walks out of the arena door. We see a shadowy figure standing in front of Aries as the door closes. Bound For GLory Series: Jeff Hardy pinned Kurt Angle with the Swanton Bomb in 0:06:04. Rating: *** 1/2After the match, Angle & hardy shake hands in a rare display of sportsmanship, as the fans cheer for both men. Footage is shown from last week of Matt Morgan returning to TNA Impact. After the video, SoCal Val is backstage with "The Blueprint". SCV: Matt, last week you made your triumphant return to TNA Impact Wrestling by making quick work of Kid Kash. What does the future hold for you? MM: For weeks & months people have had to sit back & watch a roster with half my talent. Now that I'm back I plan on mowing down the competition one by one until I'm on top of TNA. I'll be here every week taking whoever has the guts to face me man to man, so that I can prove I'm the best. Then it will be just a matter of time before Matt Morgan takes his rightful place as TNA Champion. Matt Morgan pinned Gunner with the Carbon Footprint in 0:06:00. Rating: 3/4*Booby Roode comes out to the ring for the main event. He grabs the ring announcer's microphone & lets the world know that he has chosen a partner that is nearly unbeatable. A man that had a perfect win/loss record for 18 months: CRIMSON! Crimson comes out to a chorus of boos & joins Roode in the ring. Austin Aries is out next & he has a microphone of his own. He tells everyone that is wasn't finding a partner that was the hard part, since Roode has made so many enemies in TNA. It was choosong the right man for the job. It was when he left the arena to clear his head that he found the perfect partner for tonight. A man that Rode knows very well: "the Icon" STING! The crowd goes wild as Sting makes his way out into the Impact Zone to join Aries. Austin Aries and Sting defeated Bobby Roode and Crimson when Aries pinned Roode with the Brain Buster in 0:15:26. Rating: **After the match, Sting & Aries are celebrating in the ring as Roode & Crimson stand on the arena floor. Just then, TNA General Manager: Hulk Hogan steps out onto the entranceway & congratulates Aries & Sting on their victory. And he reminds everyone that the deal was if Aries could defeat Roode tonight he would earn a another shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Title at Hardcore Justice. Aries & Sting smiled as Roode looked even more angry as Impact draws to a close. Card rating: ** 1/2 Bound For Glory Series ========== 1. James Storm 30 2. Jeff Hardy 27 3. I like what you're doing here. I'll be honest and say your old format for circuits made it hard for me personally to read (TNM text gives me a headache, lol) so this is much more appealing to the eye. I'm also glad you're slowly working changes in pushes, characters, etc. A lot of problems people have had in the past when taking over a real life circuit is drastically changing who is pushed so it doesn't make sense. All of this has been very solid and I look forward to reading more.

I don't know if it's intentional, but I like the fact that you do somewhat different write-ups of RoH and TNA. The former have more of the match events and less interviews, while the latter has it reversed. That fits.
If I were you, I would probably try to book finishes, at least edit the time in the results. I know not everybody cares about match times in TNM, but there almost never is a TV match over 15 minutes. Your latest Impact had 3, with a total match time of well over an hour. I don't know if the ROH show was a house show or a TV show, but the total match time was over 2 hours.
And I agree with Vertigo that Steen's gimmick has been altered somehow. I don't know if it was intentional or if you're not too familiar with the RoH product to know Steen's schtick as of late. He's more or less the anti-christ of wrestling and RoH now.

rey... it's alittle of both with Steen's gimmick, but, my alteration shouldn't have been too drastic as to be unfixable (or storylined to something else *wink)
the different write ups are intentional since more people are familiar with the names, gimmicks, and storylines of TNA. Plus I want to introduce more new talent into ROH & work on rehabbing them as a promotion.
I'll have to keep an eye on match times, but, I do like matches to go alittle more than 5 mins (especially main events).
Thanks for all the input & feedback. This is the one circuit I have wanted to do for awhile (like I said before). So, it means alot that you guys dig it too.

The match time's not too far off though, and it's probably just me being anal about it. I even have an Excel booking sheet where I plot in times for different show segments so that I'm certain I hit the 60 minute mark for my TV show. The "problem" with tag team matches where you only book the winner, is that it will probably go on for quite a while since there's two wrestlers who need to have their energy bar go down towards zero, and they can rest on the outside. And there's nothing inherently wrong with changing Steen a little. After all, ROH has been purchased, and the new owners (essentially you) are free to do as they please

RIng Of Honor on CMT July 17, 2012This week's show starts off with Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness welcome everyone & thanking them for tuning in. They are quickly interupted by ROH General Manager: Eric Bischoff. EB: Ladies & gentlemen, I just want to thank you for all your support of RoH wrestling. Last week, I started off my new era here in RoH by having every title defended on national television. This week, I have put together some of the best wrestling action that you will ever see. New faces and new talent, all working toward making this the most watched wrestling program on tv. So with out further ado, let's get things started. Bischoff leaves the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd & the announce team. As they talk about Bischoff's possible change in attitude, Jimmy Jacobs comes to the ring for the opening match. He is followed up by the entrance of a newcomer to RoH: Ryan McBride. Ryan McBride pinned Jimmy Jacobs with the 450 Splash in 0:10:27. Rating: ***After the match, Kevin Kelly is with RoH newcomer: Ryan McBride. KK: Ryan, that was an impressive victory over a seasoned Ring of Honor veteran. RM: Tonight was just the tip of the iceberg for me in RoH. I have been wrestling all over the country for the last 6 years. Any place & anyone that would book me for an opportunity. I have been in the ring with legends and even some of Ring of Honor's very own. Guys like Steve Corino, Delirious, The Briscoes, but, the one that sticks out in my mind the most is the ciurrent RoH Television Champion: Adam Cole. We have a long history on the independents, and it can only be a matter of time before we cross paths again. Ring of Honor is starting a new era & it's time for a new star to shine. My goal is to make it to the top & no one is gonna stop me. Footage is shown from last week of Joey Ryan attacking Jay Lethal. After the video, Veda Scott is with Joey Ryan. VS: Joey ryan last week, you came from out of nowhere & attacked Jay Lethal. Then you berated him for being a former TNA star. JR: All i did was tell the truth. TNA wasted time on guys like him, Doug williams, the so-called "Pope", and countless others. But, when a real star stepped in their ring, all of the sudden there was no room at the inn. Due to their own stupidity, TNA is sure to fail. I'm just here to help that along. And i plan on doing it every week by taking down every former TNA wrestler that is now on the RoH roster. Jay Lethal, it's nothing personal against you. I plan on making you a martyr to my cause, just another body littering the road on my path to greatness & the downfall of TNA. Joey Ryan pinned Jay Lethal with the Mustache Ride in 0:10:26. Rating: *** 3/4Backstage, Veda Scott is with Ring of Honor World Champion: Kevin Steen. VS: Kevin, last week you retained your title against... KS: You know what? Everybody already knows what i did last week. And here you see me this week, not even in the ring. Steen thinks for a moment & then snatches Scott's microphone & heads for the ring. KS: How is it that the Ring of Honor World Champion went from being the main event last week to being an after thought interview backstage this week? I thought that the new management would have the brains to make sure their biggest star would be in action every week. But, obviously I was mistaken. The new powers that be must have been listening to the old regime & now they want to keep me away like I am some disease. And that's fine, I'm used to it. you want to take away some in ring time from me, i'll just take some tv time from you this way. But, let's face it that's no big loss. All I wanted to do is bring RoH back to what it used to be, but, now I see that you are all going to leave me no choice but to help bury it instead. i'm going to leave you with this: there's a storm coming and you had better batten down the hatches. (Steen drops the mic & leaves the ring.) Rhett Titus pinned Kyle O'Reilly with the Muff Driver in 0:08:11. Rating: **Backstage, RoH TV Champion: Adam Cole runs into Ryan McBride. AC: Well, well ,well, look who finally made it. Congrats Ryan, you're a big star now. And only a year after i got here. I remember when we worked all over the east coast & everyone was calling you "The Future of Wrestling". Then I passed you by. Now you think that after 1 match you should be a top guy in RoH. How big is your ego? RM: No matter how big my ego gets, it'll never match yours. So it took me alittle longer to get here, so what? All that means is that I appreciate this opportunity even more. And as for all the times we faced off up & down the east coast, I seem to remember you losing most of those matches. I've beaten you for titles before. I know I can do it again. So if I were you, I'd make the most out of the time you have left with that title. Shine it up, take some pictures, sleep with it under your pillow if that's what it takes, I don't care. Because it's just a matter of time before I take it from you, you & I both know it. Good luck later on "Champ". The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) defeated The House of Truth (Roderick Strong and Rhino) when C. Haas defeated Rhino by disqualification in 0:09:12. Rating: ***During the match, Rhino looked to be a one man wrecking crew, by taking out both members of the tag team champs. Rhino looked to have victory locked up when he drove Charlie Haas into the mat with a huge spinebuster. Rhino set Haas up for the Gore & charged, but, Haas moved at the last possible moment. With his head down & unable to slow his momentum, Rhino's charge wound up taking out referee Paul Turner. Rhino continued his rampage on Haas, as Turner recovered. The referee pulled himself up in the corner & signaled for the bell, disqualifying The House of Truth for Rhino striking him. Rhino had to be restrained by Roderick Strong & Truth Martini to prevent him from attacking the official. Backstage, Veda Scott is with Steve Corino. VS: Steve Corino, up next you face a familiar face from your past in Jerry Lynn. SC: A familiar face? That is something of an understatement. Jerry Lynn & I have faced each other all over the world off and on for the last 12 years. The difference is that I wrestled smarter for the duration of my career. That's why Jerry had to announce that he will retire by the end of 2012 & my career will continue to flurish for years to come. I am a legend in the making, a hall of famer for the future. Jerry Lynn is just a man who may know when t quit now, but, its about 5 years too late. So let him try for one last shot at glory. He'll only find that it's too little, too late. Jerry Lynn pinned Steve Corino with the Cradle Piledriver in 0:08:16. Rating: *** 3/4Jim Cornette comes to the ring to address the crowd. He gets the microphone & looks around at the crowd with a disgusted look on his face. JC: Ladies & gentlemen, I am out here tonight to give you a special announcement from Mr. Eric Bischoff. (the crowd boos) Starting next week, 8 tag teams will compete in a single elimination tournament to determine new #1 contenders to the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship. While the brackets won't be announced until next week, the following tag teams are entered in the tournament: The House of Truth, Steve Corino & Jimmy Jacobs & 7 time RoH Tag Champs: Jay & Mark Briscoe. More teams from all over the country will be joining these 3 teams for a chance to face the current RoH Tag Team Champions: Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas. (He looks down at the paper he is reading from & sighs) Mr. Bischoff thanks you for your continued support & looks forward to making Ring of Honor the best wrestling company in the world. Cornette leaves the ring looking like he is about to throw up. D'Angelo Dinero pinned BJ Whitmer with the DDE in 0:10:07. Rating: ** 3/4After the match, Kevin Kelly catches up with "The Pope". KK: "Pope", you said last week you came to RoH looking for an opportunity. DD: It was the opportunity of a lifetime; an opportunity for a fresh start. "Pope" is here to usher in a new era for Ring of Honor. It will be an era of prosperity & growth. All with "Pope" leading the way. But the only way to lead in ring of Honor, is to be the Ring of Honor Champion. "Pope" heard what Kevin Steen said earlier tonight, & he has to agree. There is a storm coming. The question for Kevin Steen to answer, however, is can he withstand the force of the winds of change & the down pour of the rains of rightousness that "The Pope" will loose upon him? Veda Scott os backstage with "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards. VS: Eddie Edwards up next is a battle of former RoH Champions when you take on "The Notorious 187" Homicide. EE: Homicide is a lot like me: a person full of determination, a person with a lot of heart. i heard someone earlier tonight use the term "the future of wrestling". It's a term that gets over used everyday in this sport. But, it is a term that accurately descibes Eddie Edwards. I have held every active title in Ring of Honor and I haven't even hit my peak yet. I want to be the best in the world, so I will have to face the best in the world. I will be back on top of Ring of Honor again. It's just a matter of time. Homicide pinned Eddie Edwards with the Gringo Killa in 0:15:43. Rating: *** 3/4A video is shown of Jay & Mark Briscoe on their farm. They stop working long enough to talk to the camera. JB: Damn, it feels good to be back home! But next week, we hear that there's gonna be a tournament for a shot at the RoH tag straps. You know Dem Boys is gonna be there. We run things here in the RoH tag division . MB: Seven time champs baby! JB: We always prove we the best tag team in the world. So next week, we come back & it all starts again. It's time to man up for all them other boys 'cuz Dem Boys is comin'. We comin' for our damn belts! That's right I said OUR damn belts! We own RoH! We run this! MB: See all you boys next week! They turn back & go back to their tractor as the camera fades out. Adam Cole pinned Douglas Williams with the Panama Sunrise in 0:09:02. Rating: *** 1/2 (Adam Cole retained the ROH World Television Title.)After the match, Cole clutches the title belt & then raises it high. He screams out a challenge that he dares anyone to try & take the title from him. He continues his in ring celebration as the camera fades to end the show. Card rating: *** 1/4 Attachments:

TNA Impact July 19, 2012Impact kicks off with footage from last week of Austin Aries pinning TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Bobby Roode. After the video, Mike Teney & Taz attempt to welcome everyone to tonight's show, but, they are interupted by the TNA World Champion's music as Bobby roode comes to the ring to address the situation. BR: Last week, Austin Aries did what he couldn't do a meer 4 days earlier. He pinned my shoulders to the mat. The biggest problem with that is that this time, the stakes weren't as high and my title was not on the line. Once again, Mr. Aries the risk was greater than the reward for you. Sure, now you get another shot at this gold belt around my waist, but, just like last time you will come up short. Just then Hulk Hogan's music plays as the TNA Impact General Manager steps out onto the entranceway. HH: Let me tell you something Bobby Roode. What Austin Aries did last week was prove that you're not as dominant as you like to claim. And at Hardcore Justice, when the 2 of you face off again, I see a different outcome. Part of the reason is because I think austin Aries is the man that has your number, brother. The other part is because this time your match at Hardcore Justice will be inside a STEEL CAGE! Roode throws a fit in the ring, but, it doesn't last long as from out of the crowd Austin Aries slides into the ring to attack the champion. The 2 exchange blows, but, Roode bails from the ring quickly & retreats to the back. Aries stands in the center of the ring letting Roode know that at Hardcore Justice there will be no way to retreat, as the crowd cheers him on. Kenny King pinned Zema Ion with the Coronation in 0:06:15. Rating: *** 1/4Christy hemme is backstage with "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. CH: Daniels, 2 weeks ago, you regained the TNA World Tag Team Title with your partner Kazarian. But, last week you lost a non-title match to AJ Styles & Christian York. CD: That match meant nothing. It did nothing for either Styles or York. Neither of them are any closer to a title shot. My partner will deal with Christian York on his own time. As for AJ, he's finding out that being Dixie's "Golden Boy" comes with a price. he's not the saint everyone believes him to be. And sooner rather than later, everyone will find out just what I mean. Bound For Glory Series: Christopher Daniels defeated Mr. Anderson by disqualification in 0:06:52. Rating: ** 3/4 [AJ Styles interfered against Christopher Daniels.]During the match, Anderson & Daniels battled back & forth as Kazarian watched from the top of the runway. Christian York attacked Kaz from behind & the 2 brawled backstage. Daniels didn't let the side action distract him very long & kept after Anderson. Daniels hit the Angel's Wings & went for a cover. That's when AJ Styles ran out from the back. Styles ran down to the ring & immediately climbed to the top rope as Daniels attempted to pin Anderson. Styles hit the Spiral Tap on Daniels, breaking the pin & causing the disqualification. Bound For Glory Series: Hernandez pinned Robbie E with the Border Toss in 0:07:25. Rating: *** 3/4Matt Morgan comes to the ring & tells everyone that he is back in TNA & ready t take his spot at the top. But before he can move on, he has some personal scores to settle. He calls out his former partner Crimson, who comes to the ring ready to fight. Matt Morgan pinned Crimson with the Carbon Footprint in 0:07:07. Rating: * 1/2TNA Impact General Manager: Hulk Hogan comes out to the ring to make a special announcement. Hogan tells everyone that on August 12th at Hardcore Justice, the Bound For Glory Series will continue as the participants that night will face off in special stipulation matches. Some of the match options are a dog collar match, a 1st blood match, a street fight, a table match, a leather strap match, & a Singapore cane match. He explains that one participant for each match will draw from hat the type of match he will be in that night. Hogan closes by promising that Hardcore Justice will be the most extreme event to ever be on ppv. Eric Young and Abyss defeated Bully Ray and Gunner when Abyss pinned Gunner with the Black Hole Slam in 0:10:35. Rating: ** 3/4During the match, Bully ray basically abandoned Gunner when Abyss entered the ring & refusing to tag back in as long as "The Monster" was the legal man. But, it was after the match that Ray finally made his way back into the ring. He first attacked Eric Young with a chair, & before Abyss could react, Ray leveled him with a chairshot to the head. Ray continued his assault on Abyss until "The Monster" lay motionless. Ray then got the microphone to inform Abyss that at Hardcore Justice they will finally face off one on one in a no DQ, Falls Count Anywhere Match. Footage is shown of AJ Styles attacking Christopher Daniels earlier tonight. After the video, Christy Hemme is with Styles. CH: AJ earlier tonight you attacked Christopher Daniels, allowing him to pick up 3 points in the bound For Glory Series. Before AJ can speak, Mr. Anderson walks into frame. Mr. A: Not only that, but, you cost me 10 points for your little stunt. What the hell is your problem? You couldn't just wait for the match to be over? You know what? I don't even want to know. Next week, I'm taking that 10 points out on your ass. AJ looks angry with Anderson & turns & heads to the ring. Bound For Glory Series: AJ Styles pinned Magnus with the Styles Clash in 0:07:09. Rating: ***SoCal Val catches up to Christian York as he attempts to leave the Impact Zone. SCV: Christian! (he stops) Christian, earlier tonight you attacked Kazarian during Chistopher Daniels BFG Series match. CY: Daniels said that the victory I picked up last week didn't get me any closer to a title shot. Well how about now boys? I won't stop until I get one of those tag belts around my waist. i don't care if I have to team with AJ Styles, Chris Sabin, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, it don't matter. I just want to take away something from those 2 & show the world that Christian York is a major player in the game. For the TNA Television Title: Devon pinned Sonjay Dutt with the Inverted DDT in 0:05:14. Rating: *** 1/4 (Devon retained the TNA Television Title.)After the match, Sonjay Dutt looked like he may attack Devon, but, Garrett Bischoff ran to the ring to cut him off with a spear. Dutt rolled out of the ring clutching his stomach asking Bischoff what his problem was. Devon looked on confused, then he grabbed Bischoff & told him to stay out of his business. Bischoff tried to explain that he only wanted to help, but, Devon turned his back on the rookie & left the ring. Bound For Glory Series: Rob Van Dam pinned Jeff Hardy with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:09:04. Rating: **** 1/4After the match, RVD offer a handshake to Jeff Hardy for a hard fought victory. Hardy accepts & the fans cheer for both men . Mike Teney reminds everyoe watching that even with that loss, Hardy is still in 2nd place in the Bound For Glory Series. Backstage, James Storm is with Christy Hemme. CH: I'm here with "Cowboy" James Storm, the man that currently leads the Bound For Glory Series. James, up next, you face Samoa Joe, a man with 2 submission victories. If he manages to make you tap he will tie you for 1st place. JS: That's a big "if" now isn't it? I told everyone that when I came back that I wouldn't go down without a fight 7 I wouldn't stop til I got my hands on Bobby Roode & the TNA World Title. I stand by what I said before & it's gonna take someone with a shotgun to stop me. Samoa Joe, you're tough, you're strong, you've got all the talent in the world, but, I've got my own motivations for being here. You're gonna have to go through hell to make me tap out. It's just not gonna happen. Sorry about your damn luck! Bound For Glory Series: James Storm pinned Samoa Joe with the Last Call in 0:10:21. Ring of Honor Wrestling on CMT July 24, 2012The show opens with Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGunniess welcoming the viewers. Kelly remonds everyone that tonight will begin a tournament to determine new #1 contenders to the RoH World Tag Team Championship. McGuinness adds that he can't wait to see some of the teams from outside of RoH that are competing tonight, if not just to see how far they can progress in the tournament. As they finish up hyping the show, the particpants for the opening match make their way to the ring. #1 Contenders Tournament Round 1: Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino defeated El Generico and Kyle O'Reilly when S. Corino pinned Generico with the Sliding Lariat in 0:09:22. Rating: ** 3/4During the match, RoH World Champion: Kevin Steen comes to the commentary table,, joining Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness. steen taks about how once again he has been left off the show & how RoH will ultimately pay the price for ignoring him. After the match, Steen got up & joined Corino & Jacobs in the irng to celebrate. Steen informs everyone that the 3 of them are not going to stand by idolly & let RoH sink slowly back into the depths it was in before the buyout. He ended by saying the winds of change are blowing. After the video, Kevin Kelly informs everyone that Lethal demanded a rematch due to the fact that he felt the referee counted him down too fast last week & Joey Ryan accepted that challenge for a rematch tonight. Jay Lethal defeated Joey Ryan by countout in 0:05:24. Rating: * 3/4Lethal had control for much of the match, using his high flying & quick strikes to keep Ryan off balance. The end came when Lethal whipped Ryan into the ropes, but instead of rebounding, Ryan held on & bailed from the ring. He then simply walked up the runway taking the count out, rather than take any more of Lethal's onslaught. Before the next match, RoH General Manager: Eric Bischoff comes to the ring for a special announcement. Rating: ***Rhett Titus comes to the ring for the next match, but, before anyone else can be introduced he grabs the microphone. RT: We all know that The All-Night Express was on it's way to capturing the RoH Tag Team Title before my so called friend, Kenny King, turned his back on everyone that helped make him a star. So, to prove just who the force behind the ANX really was, I'm out here now to offer a chance to anyone in the locker room to team with me tonight and earn a shot at the RoH Tag Team Title. Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis come to the ring. Bennett has his own microphone. MB: It seems as though the 2 of us have a common goal. You want to obtain the glory that was within your grasp before your partner walked out on you. And I want to prove that it is my destiny to be among Ring of Honor's elite. So the only logical choice would be for the 2 of us to join forces & let our combine talent take us to the top. #1 Contender's Tournament Round 1: Rhett Titus and Mike Bennett defeated BLKOUT (Ruckus and Sabian) when M. Bennett pinned Sabian with the Awesome Coolness in 0:09:21. Rating: ** 1/2 After the match, Titus offered a handshake to his new partner, who laughed & turned his back to leave the ring. Chavo Guerrero pinned Matt Bentley with the Frog Splash in 0:07:51. Rating: **Christy Hemme is with AJ Styles. CH: AJ, last week you attacked Christopher Daniels & cost Mr. Anderson 10 points. This week you were supposed to face Anderson in the Bound For Glory Series, but, due to travel problems he is unable to be here. That, plus Hulk Hogan has decreed that if you or Daniels interfere in any more of each other's BFG series matches, both of you will be eliminated from competing any further. AS: You know what? I don't care what excuse Anderson has as to why he didn't show up to face me this week. All that matters is that I got my hands on Daniels. As for Hogan's proclimation, I may not be able to put my hands on Daniels during any BFG matches, but, I will get my hands on him one way or another. (Styles then holds up one of Daniels t-shirts) Maybe I should start wearing this too. (He turns it around & it reads "I'm no saint"). Bound For Glory Series: Bully Ray pinned AJ Styles with the Bully Bomb in 0:09:59. Rating: *** 1/2TNA World Champion: Bobby Roode comes to the ring. First he takes out Kash by throwing him head first into the brick wall. He follows that up by laying waste to Gunner by powerbombing him through a nearby table. Crimson is the last to fall as "The Monster" blasts him with a steel chair over the head. While Abyss was beating up the other 3, Ray ran off. AByss was hot on his tail as he made it to the parking lot. But, before he could catch his prey, Bully ray managed to get into his car & speed off, leaving Abyss screaming for him to come back. Bound For Glory Series: Magnus pinned Hernandez with the Mag Daddy Driver in 0:06:03. Rating: ***Footage is shown of the rivalry between Christian York & 1/2 of the TNA World Tag Team Champions: Kazarian. After the video, Christy Hemme is with York. CH: Christian, your rivalry with Kazarian is becoming more violent as the weeks progress. CY: Ever since I beat him in that Gut Check Challenge, Kazarian has been unable to cope with the fact that he isn't the man he claims to be anymore. I've beaten him every time we've gotten in the ring together & tonight will be no different. This is Christian York's time, and there are only 2 things that Kazarian or anyone else can do about it: nothing & like it. Christian York pinned Kazarian with the Southern Cross in 0:12:05. Rating: **** [AJ Styles interfered against Kazarian.] [Christopher Daniels interfered against Christian York.]All 4 men brawled around ringside after the match, until security came out to pull them apart. TNA Impact General Manager: Hulk Hogan came out to the top of the runway & ordered them to stop & listen. Hogan told them that since they can't stop attacking one another that they would have their chance to settle their problems at Hardcore Justice. He continued that Daniels & Kazarian would defend the TNA World Tag Team Title against Styles & York in an Elimanation Table Match! Daniels & Kazarian looked outraged at the announcement as the crowd cheered. For The TNA Television Title: Matt Morgan defeated Devon by disqualification in 0:05:03. Rating: * (Devon retained the TNA Television Title.) [Garrett Bischoff interfered against Matt Morgan.]After the match, Morgan grabbed Bischoff and was about to hit him, when Devon pulled the rookie away from "The Blueprint". Devon backed Morgan off & offered him a rematch to appease him. Morgan accepted & Devon turned his attention to Bischoff. He told the youngster that last week he warned him to stay out of his business. Now Devon wanted answers. Bischoff told Devon that he wouldn't be champion if not for his help. Bischoff said that Devon didn't deserve to hold the title & that it was time for a younger, better[/b] man to be champion. Devon was stunned by Bischoff's change of attitude & stood still. Ring of Honor on CMT July 31, 2012The show opens with Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness welcoming the viewers & letting them know that the tournament to determine the #1 contenders to the RoH World Tag Team Championship will continue tonight. Before they can talk about anything else, RoH World Champion: Kevin Steen comes to the ring to address the crowd. Steen talks about how he has been left off the broadcast for the last 2 weeks, so he had to take it upon himself to just show up. But D'Angelo Dinero has been getting the "big push" and when "they" finally schedule the champion to appear, it's to defend the title against the so-called bigger name talent. Steen tells the fans that it doesn't matter who is put in front of him when the title was on the line. He is the champion for a reason, and that is because he is the most ruthless, sick, & twisted man Ring of Honor and the entire world have ever seen. Joey Kaos pinned Kyle O'Reilly with the Kaostrify in 0:07:00. Rating: *** 1/2 [Jezebel interfered against Kyle O'Reilly.]Homicide was shown in an insert promo during the match. He talked about how Kaos had to attack him with a weapon last week and wasn't man enough to face him again this week. He talked about how Kaos thinks he knows about violence just because he worked for a violent company in California, but, Homicide was raised on the streets & knows what true vilence looks like. Homicide warned Kaos that he would be coming for revenge soon enough. RoH General Manager: Eric Bischoff came out to the ring to let everyone know that he has come up with another ratings winner. In 2 weeks, a new #1 contender to the Ring of Honor World Title will be named, in an over the top rope gauntlet match. The winner will face whoever the RoH Champion is at Death Before Dishonor on September 9th. Bischoff said that he will make sure only the top independent superstars will be participating in this match, proving that RoH has not only the best wrestling action on television, but, the best wrestlers in the world as well. He then thanked everyone for their time & returned control of the show back to the announce team. Dakota Darsow made El Generico submit to the Barely Legal in 0:08:36. Rating: * 3/4Kevin Kelly catches up with Dakota Darsow ringside, after his victory. KK: Dakota Darsow, that was a very impressive win for a new comer against such a seasoned veteran lie Generico. DD: That's because I'm not just some "Johnny Come Lately", I'm Dakota Darsow. I was born & bred to be a champion. Some peopel may have seen a glimpse of what I can do from the few times I showed up in TNA, but, I was never allowed to be myself there. They wanted another spot monkey to fly around with a bunch of flashy moves. I don't do flash. It's not something the Darsow family is known for. What we are known for is being tough, beating people up, & kicking their teeth in. I'm here to continue the legacy of brutality that my father established, and it won't stop until I'm the RoH Champion. #1 Contender's Tournament Semi-Final Round: Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs defeated Mike Bennett and Rhett Titus when S. Corino pinned R. Titus with the Sliding Lariat in 0:10:24. Rating: * 3/4 [Maria Kanellis interfered against Steve Corino.]Bennett & Titus couldn't ever seem to get off the ground in this one. it was like Bennett was preoccupied & at times when Titus needed to tag out, his partner was distracted & not even paying attention to the match. After Corino scored the win, Bennett got angry with Titus & berated him in the ring. When Titus stood up to him, Bennett snapped & attacked his partner. Bennett's brutal assault left Titus lying in the ring & officials & trainers had to help him to the back. Kirby Mack pinned Adam Cole after a Victory Roll in 0:07:08. Rating: ***During the match, an insert promo from Ryan McBride was shown. McBride said that it's nice to know that he has gotten into Adam Cole's head, but, the TV Champ needed to stay focused on who he was in the ring with tonight. McBride finished up by saying that it would be just a matter of time before he was the new TV Champ & Adam Cole was just a forgotten memory. Cole also seemed to hurt his knee on a dive outside the ring on Mack. He limped around the ring, which considerably slowed the pace of the match. Mack was able to catch Cole by surprise with a victory roll to pick up the victory. Cole was visibly upset about the decision and clutched his title belt reminding Mack & the crowd that he was still a champion as he limped up the runway. Tommaso Ciampa pinned Douglas Williams with the Cradle DDT in 0:09:08. Rating: ** 1/4Durng the match, an insert promo was shown of Tommaso Ciampa explaining why he was taking on Williams tonight. Ciampa said that it was Williams fault that he didn't get a fair chance in his tournament match last week. Williams didn't show up & Ciampa was forced to team with Eddie Edwards, another man he will be seeking revenge against soon enough. Ciampa said that he is destined to be one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling and he will do whatever it takes and face friends & foes alike to get to the top. A quick video is shown of the rivalry between Joey Ryan & Jay Lethal. The camera goes back to the ring after the footage just in time for Joey Ryan's entrance. Ryan gets about halfway to the ring & then is jumped by Lethal. The 2 trade blows the rest of the way to the ring & as soon as both are inside the ropes the referee calls for the bell to start the match. Joey Ryan and Jay Lethal battled to a double pin in 0:09:05. Rating: *** 1/4Both men insisted that their opponent was the one that got pinned as the crowd chanted for 5 more minutes. Joey Ryan refused claiming that he was the true winner tonight & he didn't have to prove himself any further. yan exitted the ring as Lethal called him a coward. Backstage The Briscoe Brothers are with Veda Scott. MB: About 15 years ago, our daddy took us to Philly to see some wrasslin'. Now, we been to the Spectrum to see guys like Hulk Hogan before, but, this time we went to an old bingo hall. I got a VHS tape that night & on it was a match with Cactus Jack & The Sandman. After watching that match, I knew from that point on that I wanted to be a pro wrestler. JB: That same night, a fellow by the name of John Kronus was in a match that spilled over the guardrail and he got hit in the head by a steel chair. Blood went everywhere. Blood from his head got on my ECW "Politically Incorrect" t-shirt. The minute that blood hit my shirt, I knew from that moment on I was gonna be a pro wrestler. John Kronus had a bigger impact on The Briscoes gettin' into pro wrestlin' than Hulk Hogan. Steve Corino & Jimmy Jacobs, you boys like to act tough, but, we know you ain't build for a match against The Briscoes. Hell, over half the RoH roster ain't built for a match against us. We a different breed of people, violent people. We made RoH famous. You all just livin' off we built. You both wanna be entertainers like Hulk Hogan, and somwhere down the line in your pursuit to be Hulk Hogan, you ended up on the wrong side of the tracks. you say you know violence, but, we for real some violent ass country boys. You 2 are gonna find out the hard way just like everybody else, what real violence is all about. #1 Contender's Tournament Semi-Final Round: The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) defeated Rhino and Roderick Strong when M. Briscoe pinned R. Strong with the Cutthroat Suplex in 0:12:11. Rating: *** 1/4D'Angelo Dinero is backstage with Veda Scott. She asks him about his upcoming RoH World Title match up next. Dinero told her that this was going to be the biggest match of his career and that he planned on making the most of it. He reminded everyone that he vowed to be the one that ushered in a new era of prosperity to Ring of Honor, and it begins tonight. For the Ring of Honor World Title: Kevin Steen pinned D'Angelo Dinero with the Package Piledriver in 0:17:19. Rating: **** (Kevin Steen retained the ROH World Title.)During the match, Steve Corino & Jimmy Jacobs made their way to ringside. When it seemed like Dinero had Steen on the ropes, Corino distracted the referee, while Jacobs distracted Dinero. Dinero tried to go after both men, but, their distraction paid off. When Dinero turned his attention back to Steen, the RoH Champ caught his challenger with a low blow, followed up with the Package Piledriver for the win. Afterwards, Steen, Corino & Jacobs took turns slapping & kicking Dinero until Jay & Mark Briscoe rushed to the ring. the former 7 time RoH Tag Champs fought off Corino & Jacobs, allowing enough time for Dinero to recover & fight back Steen. The show ended with The Briscoes & Dinero standing tall in the ring. Card rating: *** Attachments:

TNA Impact August 2, 2012Tonight's Impact opens up with Mike Teney & Taz welcoming everyone. Teney quickly breaks down the Bound For Glory Series. Taz mentions that it's still anybody's race, since at Hardcore Justice the point values will be doubled. As they finish hyping the show, the participants for the first match are headed to the ring. Bound For Glory Series: Jeff Hardy pinned Christopher Daniels with the Swanton Bomb in 0:08:11. Rating: *** 1/2Footage is shown from last week of the Gut Check Challenge tag team match featuring Robbie E & Robbie T taking on Fed Up. After the video, Fed Up comes to the ring to be judged by Al Snow, D'Lo Brown & Taz. Brown starts off by telling the team that they were very solid in the ring last week and they were also very entertaining. He says he can see big things for them in the future & votes "yes." Al Snow is next. The first thing he says is that the 2 were entertaining last week, but, lets be honest, their best days are probably behind them. He holds up their Gut Check applications & tells everyone that both men are over 30 and don't have much time left in the ring. He is forced to vote "no." Taz is the last man to speak. He says he is going to keep this short & simple. Taz says that he sees something in these 2, something he hasn't seen for a long time. He says with all do respect to Snow, he doesn't care about age. He tells everyone that looking at Fed Up reminds him of the early days of ECW and a couple of guys they called Public Enemy. They were a couple of guys that alot of promoters didn't see much in, but, one "mad genius" gave them a chance. That was a chance to be a part of something that changed the entire professional wrestling landscape. Taz finishes up by saying that he may just be getting sentimental, but, he wants these guys to make it big, so he is voting "yes." And Fed Up are now members of the TNA roster. Chavo Guerrero pinned Zema Ion with the Frog Splash in 0:09:54. Rating: ** 1/2Footage is shown from last week of Matt Morgan almost winning the TNA TV TItle, had it not been for Garrett Bischoff. It shows the arguement between Bischoff & Devon, followed by Morgan hitting the Carbon Footprint on Bischoff. After the video, the camera goes back to the ring where we see the TV Champ coming to the ring alongside his partner for the night Garrett Bischoff. Sonjay Dutt and Kenny King defeated Devon and Garrett Bischoff when K. King pinned Devon with the Coronation in 0:05:51. Rating: ** 1/4During the match, Devon stayed in the ring for the most part. Everytime he tried to tag out, Bischoff was too distracted to make the tag. Devon took a beating from both men, but, managed to battle back enough to send both crashing to the floor with a double clothesline over the top rope. Devon collapsed to the canvas after & crawled toward his corner. Just as he was about to tag Bischoff, the rookie dropped off the apron & stepped back from the ring. Devon looked at his partner angrily as Kenny King recovered & got back into the ring. king stalked Devon as the TV Champ stood up, still focused on Bischoff. King then hit the Coronation on Devon to pick up the win as Bischoff stood at ringside & laughed. As Bully Ray makes his way to the ring for the next match, Abyss rushes out from the back & attacks him. The 2 trade blows, but, Abyss gets the better of it & sends Ray crashing into the ring steps & then into the barricade. Officials seperate them & pull the psychotic monster to the back. Ray is checked on by trainers, but, he refuses medical attention & insists on competing. Bound For Glory Series: Samoa Joe made Bully Ray submit to the Coquina Clutch in 0:10:31. Rating: *** 1/2Christy Hemme is backstage with Mr. Anderson. CH: Mr. Anderson, last week, you were scheduled to face AJ Styles in a Bound For Glory Series match. Mr. A: And I didn't show up to get my revenge on AJ for costing me 10 points in the series, right? Well, I'm here tonight and I plan on showing Mr. Styles what happens when he messes with an a**hole like me. I still have a shot at the BFG Series, tonight I turn it all around. That TNA World Championship match will belong to the one & the only mmMMMMMISSSTERRRRR ANNNNN-DER-SONNNNN! (looks at Hemme) Wait for it. An-der-son! Bound For Glory Series: Mr. Anderson pinned AJ Styles with the Mic Check in 0:11:36. Rating: **** 1/4Backstage, Christy Hemme catches up with the TNA X-Division Champion: Robbie E, who is accompanied by his bouncer: Robbie T. CH: Im here with the TNA X-Division Champion: Robbie E. Robbie, you currently are last in the Bound For Glory Series standings and as it stands right now, you are not scheduled to defend the X-Division Title at Hardcore Justice. RE: First things first, I want you to smell me. Come on smell me. (Hemme leans in & sniffs) That's the smell of success, Christy. That's the smell of a fighting champion. I don't care who wants a shot at my title, 'cuz they not only have to go through me, but they have to go through the biggest, baddest bouncer in the world: Robbie T. He's indestructable. So at Hardcore Justice, i'll defend this belt against whoever has the guts to step up & try to take it. I don't care if it's AJ Styles, Sting, or Hulk Hogan himself, bro. Just then TNA Impact General Manager: Hulk Hogan steps into frame. HH: Well you know something "bro"? That's just the kind of thing that I like to hear. You want to call yourself a fighting champion? Well then next week, brother, I'm going to find you a challenger for Hardcore Justice. Not only that, but, you'll have your chance to pull yourself out of the basement in the BFG Series when you go one on one against the man that was just victorious in the ring: Mr. Anderson! And to make it fair, Robbie T will be banned from ringside. Good luck "bro"! Both men look upset as Hemme smiles vacantly for the camera. Austin Aries defeated Kazarian by disqualification in 0:08:04. Rating: ** 1/2 [Bobby Roode interfered against Austin Aries.]Roode sat at the commentary table for this match to talk about his upcoming title defense against Aries at Hardcore Justice, which will take place inside a steel cage. Roode spent much of the match making jokes about Aries' size, saying that he wasn't even a "true heavyweight". Aries got control of the match and eventually hit the brainbuster on Kazarian to set up for a pin. Roode quickly left the table & jumped in the ring to break the count & cause the dq. After the match, Roode & Aries continued to brawl up the runway, as Kazarian watched from inside the ring. Kaz watched as they traded punches & failed to notice Christian York jumping the guardrail. Ring of Honor on CMT August 7, 2012The show starts off with a highlight reel from lastr week's show, ending with the brawl between D'Angelo Dinero, The Briscoes & S.C.U.M. (Steen, Corino, & Jacobs). After the video, Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness let everyone know that tonight's main event will be a 6 man tag team match featuring all 6 of the previously mentioned men. Homicide pinned Roderick Strong with the Gringo Killa in 0:09:30. Rating: ** 3/4 [Truth Martini interfered against Homicide.]It was a battle of former RoH Champions and it was more of a fight than a wrestling match. Both men were trying everything they could to impress the general manager to ensure their spot in next week's over the top gauntlet. When the match broke down to a brawl, Hoicide clearly had the advantage & that's what allowed him to hit the Gringo Killa to pick up the win. BLKOUT (Ruckus and Sabian) defeated The American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) when Sabian pinned D. Richards with the Black Jesus Stomp in 0:12:55. Rating: ** 1/4This was a "one night only" reunion of former RoH tag champs: Richards & Edwards & they planned to show everyone that they hadn't lost a step. Both teams used quick tags & double teaming, but, neither could gain a clear advantage. The Wolves would try a "ground & pound" offense to wear BLKOUT down. But Ruckus & Sabian would show that they can wrestle with the best, as they traded hold for hold with the 2 former RoH Champions. BLKOUT relied on their high flying offense to finally take control. the end came when Ruckus threw Edwards from the ring & followed him out with a suicide plancha to the floor, & Sabian hit a missile dropkick on Richards. With Richards down, Sabian went back to the top & hit the Black Jesus Stomp to score the pinfall for his team. Mike Bennett pinned Kyle O'Reilly with the Awesome Coolness in 0:07:14. Rating: ** 1/4Before the match, footage is shown of Bennett attacking Rhett Titus after their loss to S.C.U.M. members Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino. Bennett comes to the ring for his match against Kyle O' Reilly, but first, he takes the microphone & explains his actions. He told everyone that it is his destiny to be a champion in RoH & Titus delayed that destiny so he had to pay the price. He explained that injuring Titus was easier than he thought it would be & if 1/2 of the RoH roster fell that easy, he would be champion in no time. He taunted Titus by saying that he should take the easy way out & go join Kenny King in TNA because it was clear that neither of them have what it takes to make it against "real athletes". Joey Ryan and Tommaso Ciampa defeated Jay Lethal and Douglas Williams when Ciampa pinned D. Williams with the Cradle DDT in 0:10:30. Rating: *** 1/2Ryan came to the ring & talked about his usual subject: the lack of talent that competes in TNA or those in RoH now that used to be in TNA, such as Jay Lethal & Douglas Williams. Ryan says that he has found a man in RoH that feels the same as he does & this man will help him on his mission to destroy the former TNA talents & then move on to the TNA roster itself. He brings out Tommaso Ciampa. The 2 worked very well together as they each took turns picking apart Lethal & Williams. The former TNA talents would battle back, but, it would be too little too late. aA Ryan & Lethal brawled outside the ring, Ciampa hit Williams with the Cradle DDT to pick up the win. After the match was officially over, Ciampa left the ring to help Ryan batter Lethal on the arena floor. The 2 beat Lethal down mercilessly & ended the brawl with a spike piledriver on the arena floor as the officials rushed from the back. Ryan & Ciampa laughed & shook hands as they made their way to the back while trainers checked on Lethal. For the Ring of Honor World Television Title: Adam Cole pinned Kirby Mack with the Panama Sunrise in 0:09:30. Rating: *** (Adam Cole retained the ROH World Television Title.)This was a rematch from last week, but, this time RoH General Manager: Eric Bischoff thought Mack deserved to face Cole with the TV Title on the line. Cole came out more aggressive this time as he attacked Mack before the bell. What was a high flying exhibition last week, resembled a bar room brawl tonight. The 2 traded kicks & punches with neither gaining a clear advantage. The fight spilled to the floor on afew occations, the most brutal being Mack throwing Cole over the top rope & then diving off the top turnbuckle onto the champion. They would stay out there for the remainder of the match. One would whip the other into the barricade & then it would be vise versa. Finally, Cole whipped Mack shoulder first into the ringsteps. He then dragged Mack back into the ring & set him up on the turnbuckle. Cole climbed up from the outside & hit the Panama Sunrise to retain his title. After the match, cole let everyone know that there was no man in RoH that could take his championship from him. The crowd started to chant for Ryan McBride & Cole told them that they could chant all they want because he was hiding out at home in Baltimore because he knows he can't beat Cole. Cole held the TV Title high in the air & soaked up the boos before leaving the ring. Delirious defeated Dakota Darsow when Dakota Darsow passed out in the Cobra Stretch in 0:08:03. Rating: ** 1/2Darsow came out to the ring & made jokes about beating RoH's resident masked man with relative ease last week. He tells everyone that he is not about flash or high flying or having fun with the kiddies. He's the real deal, not some lucha wannabe. Just then familiar music fills the arena & a man in green & black rushes to the ring . Delirious has returned to RoH! Delirious grabs the mic from Darsow & gives one of his trademark incoherent speeches. Darsow reaches to take the mic back, but, before he can Delirious punches him. The referee called for the bell & the match was on. It wasn't a pretty match by any means as teh 2 traded punches & kicks. Delirious showed his experience & took control over the brash youngster, capitalizing on his mistakes. Darsow sent Delirious to the ropes & tried to hit a big boot, but, Delirious saw it coming & dropkicked the leg that held all the weight. Delirious then caught Darsow from behind & locked in the Cobra Stretch. To the young man's credit, however, he did not tap out. Darsow held on until he could no longer take the pain & passed out. Delirious looked at Darsow's prone body for a moment & then clapped for the tenacious rookie, urging the crowd to join in. Some gave the man respect while the others were just cheering for Delirious. The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) and D'Angelo Dinero defeated S.C.U.M. (Jimmy Jacobs, Steve Corino and Kevin Steen) when Dinero pinned K. Steen with the DDE in 0:18:10. Rating: ****This one picked up right where it left off at the close of last week's show. All 6 men immediately started brawling & it took multiple officials to gain control & actually start the match. This was close to being a match without honor as both teams had little reguard for any rules. Double & triple teaming were the main part of both teams strategy. The referee did his best to maintain order, but, Corino, Jacobs, & Steen would distract him & taunt their opponents into getting the referee's attention so they could isolate one man: Dinero. They each took turns beating on "The Pope" & every time one of the Briscoes tried to help him, the referee would have to escort him back outside the ropes. Corino hit Dinero with the Sliding Lariat, but, he couldn't get his shoulders down for a 3 count. This brought the RoH Champion back into the match. Steen & Corino trapped Dinero in the corner & The Briscoes couldn't take it anymore. Jay & Mark rushed into the ring & threw Corino over the top to the floor. Then they knocked Jacobs off the apron. The former RoH tag champs then followed them to the floor & the brawl started all over again. The action moved to the far side of the ring & Steen went to that side to watch & give his partners orders. As he did this, his back was to Dinero, who was slowly recovering. Dinero got to his feet & saw Steen in the opposite corner. He then charged & hit the DDE on the champion, sending him crashing into the corner. The referee kept an eye on the action in the ring & made the count as Dinero pinned the champion, much to the delight of the crowd. Card rating: *** Attachments:

TNA Impact August 9, 2012The show opens with Mike Teney & Taz welcoming everyone, followed by Teney running down the BFG Standings. Taz mentions that the 4 men that will be in action outside of the BFG Series this Sunday at Hardcore Justice will be in action tonight. Teney says that it is still anybody's race as the points will be doubled this Sunday at Hardcore Justice. Taz reminds everyone that tonight will be the contract signing between TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Bobby Roode & Austin Aries for their streel cage match this Sunday as well. Bound For Glory Series: Mr. Anderson made Robbie E submit to a Texas Cloverleaf in 0:10:00. Rating: ** 3/4Anderson used this match as a chance to make a statement. That statement was that he still has a chance to make it into the finals of the BFG Series. X-Division Champ: Robbie E did all he could to hold off Anderson's assault, but, it would not be enough. Anderson showed a varied offense that kept the title holder off guard & ended the match with a submission, earning himself 10 points & moving up in the standings. Unfortunately for Robbie E, he lingers in the basement another week & looks to have little chance of getting out. Abyss pinned Crimson with the Black Hole Slam in 0:07:08. Rating: *Abyss hasn't been seen in the ring much lately, but, TNA's resident monster looked fresh & ready to take on Crimson. Teney & Taz talked about the upcoming match between Abyss & Bully Ray this Sunday during the match, as Abyss battered Crimson around the ring. Teney noted that the fans could hear Abyss calling Crimson "Ray" during the match as he pummeled him in the corner. Abyss planted Crimson with the Black Hole Slam & picked up the win. Afterward, he grabbed the microphone & and said that he didn't want to wait for Sunday. He demanded that Ray face him tonight. Bully Ray didn't respond to the challenge, so Abyss told everyone that if Ray wasn't coming out, he would go find him. Bound For Glory Series: Christopher Daniels pinned Hernandez with the Best Moonsault Ever in 0:09:24. Rating: **** 1/4In what many thought to be the show stealer of the BFG Series, Daniels took the fight straight to his larger opponent. Hernandez, who has since found himself rejuvenated since the arrival of Chavo Guerrero, used every move in his arsenal against "The Fallen Angel". It was a high flying, hard hitting match with both men giving (and taking) stiff shots. Even though both men are near the bottom of the BFG Standings, they battled as if they were tied for 1st place. Hernandez hit the Border Toss early in the match, but, Daniels was able to just barely get his shoulder up. When Daniels tried to take a breather outside the ring, Hernandez dove over the top rope onto him. The tag champ would manage to battle back while on the outside by whipping Hernandez into the ring steps. Daniels hit an Asai moonsault from the ring apron to the floor on Hernandez, and both were almost counted out because of it. Back in the ring, Daniels maintained control and hit the Angel's Wings on Hernandez, followed up with the BME to score the win & pick up 7 points. Matt Morgan pinned Garrett Bischoff with the Carbon Footprint in 0:05:07. Rating: * 3/4Before the match started, Teney & Taz announced that this Sunday at Hardcore Justice, Devon would defend the TNA Television Title in a Triple Threat match against both Garrett Bischoff & "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan. Morgan made short work of Bischoff in what he called afterward "a preview of things to come". Morgan wasted no time or movement in the ring & laid the inexperienced rookie to waste with the Carbon Footprint. Morgan stood victorious in the ring as the crowd gave a mixed reaction as he signaled that he was coming for the title. Bound For GLory Series: Bully Ray pinned Magnus with the Bully Bomb in 0:06:42. Rating: ***Ray was less focused on Abyss this week & it showed. He took the fight straight to Magnus & showed the mighty Brit just why he was one of the most feared men in TNA. As Ray battered Magnus with punches & kicks, the crowd didn't know who to get behind. The match wasn't pretty, but, what it lacked in finesse, it made up for in brutality. The referee gave more leeway with the rules as neither man would back down when one was trapped in the corner. When the action went to the floor, Ray even used the time keeper's bell as a weapon. Magnus would get one moreflurry of offense, but, it was too little too late as Ray fought back & hit the Bully Bomb to pick up the win & 7 points tying him for 5th place with Mr. Anderson. #1 Contender 6-Man Battle Royal: Chavo Guerrero won a 6-man Battle Royal: x Chavo defeated K. King after the Frog Splash in 0:08:21 x E. Young defeated Ion after the Piledriver in 0:10:45 x E. Young defeated M. Bentley after the Piledriver in 0:14:11 x Chavo defeated E. Young after the Frog Splash in 0:19:29 x Chavo defeated S. Dutt after the Frog Splash in 0:25:42 Rating: ***** (Kid Kash no-showed.)This match was designated a 6 pack challenge in which all the particpants would be in the ring together, with eliminations only coming when someone was pinned or forced to submit with the winner recieving a shot at the X-Division Title this Sunday at Hardcore Justice. The action was fast paced, high flying, & hard hitting. Chavo took out Kenny King first after his Frog Splash found the mark. Shortly afterward, the returning Eric Young (replacing Kid Kash) put young Zema Ion's hopes to rest with his Piledriver. Young's momentum continued as he pinned former X-Division Champ: Matt Bentley, leaving only Chavo & Sonjay Dutt to compete with. Young's luck would not hold out, as Dutt first hit him with a superplex, as both men lay on the canvas, Chavo hit the Frog Splash to eliminate Young. With the final 2 ready to square off, Dutt pulled out every stop to try & pin his much more experienced opponent. Dutt did his best, but, Chavo would hit the 3 amigos, followed by the Frog Splash to earn himself his 1st shot at a championship in TNA. Bound For Glory Series: AJ Styles pinned Kurt Angle with the Styles Clash in 0:11:06. Rating: *** 3/4For the 3rd straight week, Angle faced a man that he considered an ally, but, this time he had to face the man that was his TNA World Tag Team Championship partner. This match started much like the others, with a handshake of respect. The 2 agreed to have a clean, but, hard hitting match & they didn't disappoint. Styles & Angle traded holds for the first few minutes & Styles actually took the advantage. He hit Angle with a high dropkick & rushed to the corner for an attempt at the Spiral Tap. Angle barely avoided being hit by the move, and locked on the Ankle Lock. Styles quickly got to t he ropes, forcing the break. Every move Styles made, Angle had a counter for, and every counter Angle made, Styles would find a way out of. A superkick from Styles sent Angle crashing through the rpes to the floor. Styles, seeing his opportunity dove over the top rope & hit the former Olympian with a somersault plancha. That's when the good will between the 2 started to break down. Styles whipped Angle into the ringside barriers & then rolled him back into the ring for a near fall. Styles would try for a Styles Clash, but, Angle was able to counter into a backdrop. The end came when Angle send Styles into the corner. Angle charged in after, but, was met with 2 feet to the face. Styles came out & hit the Pele Kick on Angle, floowed by the Styles Clash to pin the former TNA World Champion & pick up 7 more points to make a 3 way tie for 5th place. After the match, Angle & Styles shared a handshake & a hug as the crowd cheered both men. It was finally time for the contract signing between TNA World Champ: Bobby Roode & Austin Aries. Roode was out first & he mocked Angle & Styles display of sprtsmanship by calling it a "hugfest" and said it was now time for the man with the "It factor" to tae control of "his" show. That brought out Aries, who thanked Roode for such a great introduction. He said that while the 2 of them didn't agree on just about anything, he did agree with Roode that the time for sportsmanship was at an end. When the 2 of them sign the contract for Hardcore Justice, it will be to compete in a brutal contest to prove who the best truly is. TNA Impact general Manager: Hulk Hogan was the last man to come to the ring. He carried the contract with him & laid it on the table. Hogan said he had a team of lawyers go over the contract & he saw that a stipulation was added. Aries said he didn't care abotu an new stipulations & snatched the contract off the table. He quickly signed it as he told Roode to enjoy his last 3 days as champion. Roode stood back & smiled as Aries signed. Roode then picked up the contract & the microphone to explain that it was his lawyers that put in the new stipulation. That stipulation being that should Aries not capture the TNA Championship this Sunday, he will not recieve a rematch as long as Roode is champion, which in his opinion will be a long, long time. Roode signed the contract & tossed it at Aries. Aries said he knew that Roode would try something like this, but, on Sunday inside a steel cage, Roode will have no where to run & no where to hide from "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived". Hogan picked up the contract, announced the match as official & went to leave the ring. As Hogan stepped out of the ropes, Roode attacked Aries & the 2 traded punches. Security flooded the ring to pull the 2 apart as the show went off the air. Card rating: *** 1/2 Bound For Glory Series ========== 1. James Storm 44 2. Kurt Angle 37 3. Jeff Hardy 34 4. TNA HARDCORE JUSTICE AUGUST 12, 2012 PPVA video package opens the show highlighting all of the matches scheduled for tonight & how they came about. After the video, Mike Teney & Taz welcome everyone to the show. Taz let's everyone know that tonight all the matches will have some sort of special stipulation & 4 titles in TNA will be defended. Teney adds the reminder that the 4 BFG Series matches tonight will be worth double the points. As they finish hyping the show, Chavo Guerrero's music plays as he comes to the ring for the opening match. No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Chavo Guerrero pinned Robbie E with the Frog Splash in 0:13:14. Rating: *** 1/4 (Chavo Guerrero won the TNA X-Division Title.)Robbie E & Chavo started the match by showing off ther wrestling skill, but, that quickly broke down when the champion desided to take a cheap shot at the challenger. Chavo, no stranger to breaking rules himself, returned the favor with a near fall using the ropes for leverage. The action went to the floor, where Robbie & Chavo took turns whipping each other into the ringside barriers. Back in the ring, they once again traded holds. Robbie used every underhanded tactic he knew to try to retain the title, but, Chavo was always one step ahead. It would be Chavo hitting the 3 Amigos to stun Robbie, which led to Chavo scaling the corner & hitting the Frog Splash to capture his 1st title in TNA. Street Fight No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match Bound For Glory Series: Rob Van Dam pinned Magnus with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:09:03. Rating: ** 3/4With RVD's "extreme" background & the brutal manner in which Magnus conducts himself. this promised to be a wild match up with plenty of repercussions for the BFG Series. Thy didn't even wait to get to the ring to start this one. During RVD's entrance, when the former TNA Champion didn't come out, the camera caught up to them in the back already exchanging punches. The 2 didn't spend much time in the ring as they brawled all over the runway & even spilled into the crowd. For one of the few moments they spent in the ring, RVD sent Magnus over the top rope to the arena floor with a clothesline. When he tried to leap down on the Englishman with a somersault plancha, Magnus just barely managed to get out of the way to leave Van Dam crashing to the floor. RVD would be able to recover as the match went on & get momentum back in his favor. Magnus would not go with out a fight & even made the choice to introduce a weapon into the match. Magnus grabbed a steel chair & stalked a seemingly defenseless Van Dam. Van Dam however was playing possum. RVD sprung to his feet & hit the Van Daminator on Magnus, dropping the mighty Brit. Van Dam then went to the corner, lept from the mat to the top, turned, & hit the 5 Star Frog Splash to pick up the win & 14 points in the BFG standings. Backstage there is a big commotion. As the camera catches up with the happenings, we see AJ Styles is laid out clutching his shoulder. Trainers & medical staff are checking on him as Christian York looks on, worried about his partner. TNA Impact General Manager: Hulk Hogan asks one of the medics if Styles will be able to compete & is told that it doesn't look good. Hogan then turns to York & tells him that if Styles can't compete, he can find a new partner. but, if York can't find a partner by the time of the match, he wll have to go it alone. Singapore Cane No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match Bound For Glory Series: Jeff Hardy pinned Hernandez after the Swanton Bomb in 0:13:43. Rating: ****Each man was armed with a Singapore Cane to start the match, but, Hardy dropped his as soon as the bell sounded & instead opted for a steel chair from ringside. They would battle back & forth with Hernandez gaining the advantage, thanks to his great strength. The crowd was heavily against "Super Mex" as he pummeled Hardy in the corner. Hernandez whipped Hardy into the corner & charged in after, but, Hardy moved out of the way. Hardy then hit the Whisper In The Wind for a near fall. Hernandez kicked out & the brawl was back on. For a Singapore Cane match, neither cane was used much at all, but, thefans didn't seem to mind. The action went to the floor, when Hernandez tossed Hardy over the top rope & then followed him out with his signature dive over the top rope onto his waiting opponent. Hernandez then threw the dazed Hardy back into the ring, but, as he stepped threw the rpes to re-enter himself, hardy caught him from out of nowhere with the Twist of Fate. Hardy then pulled himself up to the top rope & hit the Swanton Bomb to get the win & 14 points, taking the lead in the BFG Standings. No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Triangle Match: Matt Morgan defeated Garrett Bischoff and Devon when M. Morgan pinned Bischoff with the Carbon Footprint in 0:10:01. Rating: * 3/4 (Matt Morgan won the TNA Television Title.)Morgan had been on a roll since returning to TNA Impact, going undefeated against some of the top competitors in the company, including a DQ win over Devon. Tonight, he was put to the test as he had to take on 2 at once. Both Devon & Bischoff would try to attack Morgan simultaniously. But, it wouldn't take long for their alliance to come to an end, as soon as organ was down, Bischoff turned on Devon to try & claim the TV Title for himself. Devon withstood the barrage & gave it all right back to Bischoff, the whole time allowing Morgan to recover. Morgan waited patiently for the moment to strike. Bischoff had finally gotten Devon down after hitting him with the TV Title belt & as soon as he turned around, Morgan struck. Morgan ht the Carbon Footprint right into the belt, driving it into the face of the rookie, knocking him out cold. Morgan then easily covered Biscoff for the win, capturing his first TNA single's championship, to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Barbed Wire No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match Bound For Glory Series: James Storm pinned Mr. Anderson with the Last Call in 0:10:08. Rating: *** 1/2Mr. Anderson entered the match in a 3 way tie for 5th place, and before he came to the ring, he told Christy Hemme that he planned to do whatever it takes to gain ground on the top 4 in the standings. He didn't disappoint as he pulled out all the stops against the man currently in 2nd place. The ropes were wrapped in barbed wire for this match & both men were wearing jeans, t-shirts & gloves as the battled inside the flesh tearing ring. First blood was drawn by Anderson as he raked Storm's face across the top rope, the steel babrs ripping the flesh on his forehead. Storm showed his resilience by fighting back & almost tangling Anderson in the wire, but, only managing to cut his arm. The 2 would take turns trading punches in the center of the ring. Storm, now a bloody mess, caught Anderson by surprise with a kick to the midsection & delivered a fall away slam. He then went on the offense by whipping Anderson into the barbed wire wrapped corner. Anderson's clothes became caught on the barbs, trapping him. Storm took full advantage & after punching & kicking the somewhat helpless Anderson & then pulled him from the corner, ripping his shirt on the wire. Storm then returned the favor from earlier by raking Anderson's face over the wire, cutting him open as well. Storm then stepped back and as the dazed Anderson turned around, Storm hit him with the Last Call to score the victory, 14 points & regain the lead in the BFG standings. Table No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Abyss defeated Bully Ray by putting him through a table in 0:11:18. Rating: **Both of these men are known for their brutal styles & willingness to take things to an "extreme" level and this one lived up to all expectations. Both would use whatever weapon they could get their hands on to batter the other. The tables would come into play late in the match only when Ray thought he had Abyss well beaten. Both men were bleeding & moving sluggishly from all the punishment they absorbed. But, with the advantage finally in his favor, Ray left the ring 7 pulled a table from underneath, He brought it into the ring, set it up, and looked as if he would put Abyss through it with a powerbomb. Ray hesitated and dropped "The Monster" to the canvas. He then went back under the ring & retrieved a small bottle. Taz immediately recognized what Ray was about to do & told everyone that "it's about to get alot hotter in the arena". Ray emptied the contents of the bottle on the table top & then pulled a zippo lighter from his pocket. Ray then set the table ablaze as some in the crowd cheered & others screamed. Ray then went back to Abyss & readied him for a powerbomb through the flaming table. Ray tried to lift Abyss, but, Abyss managed to shift his weight to keep himself down. Ray tried a second time, with the same result. Ray tried one last time & this time he got Abyss almost all the way up, but, again Abyss shifted his weight & came back down. But unlike the first attempts, this time Abyss reversed the move & backdropped Ray through the flaming table to win the match. the ring crw reacted quickly with fire extinguishers to put out both the table & Ray before any real damage could be done as Abyss celebrated in the ring. Two on One Handicap-Match For The TNA World Tag Team Title:: Christopher Daniels and Kazarian defeated Christian York when Kaz pinned York with the Fade to Black in 0:06:03. Rating: *** 1/2 (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian retained the TNA World Tag Team Title.)York was unable to find a partner for the night & to take on the TNA World Tag Team Champions alone. York did his best, but, the numbers advantage was too much as Daniels & Kazarian made short work of their foe. Kazarian finally gained a measure of revenge against the former Gut Check contestant by pinning his shoulders to the mat to retain the gold for his team. Kazarian & Daniels celebrated as York slowly headed to the back. The camera caught York before he exited as he said it's not over for him yet & he will be back for the title. No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Submission Match Bound For Glory Series: Kurt Angle made Samoa Joe submit to the Ankle Lock in 0:13:17. Rating: **** 1/4These 2 have had so many epic battles during their TNA careers, that this would be one of the matches everyone really came to see. The fans were on the edge of their seats as Joe & Angle traded stiff kicks, punches, & chops, with neither taking a backward step. They would trade holds & suplexes, but, neither would take full control of the match. The match wouldn't stay in the ring as Joe threw Angle to the floor & then whipped him into the ring steps. Joe tossed Angle into the barricade & then locked on the Coquina Clutch in the arena floor. Angle looked to be out as the referee instructed Joe that the move had to be applied inside the ring to count for a victory. Joe, clearly upset, threw Angle again into the barricade & then back into the ring. Joe stalked Angle, readying his trademark submission move again. This time, Angle had enough left to reach the ropes & break the hold. This sent Joe over the edge & the mighty Samoan ferociously attacked, kicking & punching Angle. Joe then locked the former Olympian in an STF, but, again Angle refused to surrender. Joe's fury over not being able to put Angle away was shoing clearly as he hit suplex after suplex on Angle. Angle looked to be beaten & Joe again went for the Coquina Clutch. Angle dropped down & tripped up Joe sending him crashing to the mat. Angle picked Joe's ankle & locked in his signature Ankle Lock. Wrapping his legs around Joe's kept the big man from rolling or crawling anywhere. Joe was trapped in the center of the ring with nowhere to go & no choice but to tap out. Angle picked up 20 points putting him just 1 point behind James Storm in the standings. Joe, though frustrated shook ANgle's hand out of respect & joined him as the crowd stood on their feet for both men. No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Cage Match: Bobby Roode defeated Austin Aries by escaping the cage in 0:22:00. Rating: *** 1/4 (Bobby Roode retained the TNA World Heavyweight Title.)As the cage was set up around the ring, backstage Austin Aries told Christy Hemme that tonight Bobby Roode has nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and no excuse when he wins the TNA World Heavyweight Title. Just then, Roode attacked Aries from behind & the 2 brawled out to ringside. Aries started to get the better of Roode & the champion tried to get away, but, Aries forced him inside the cage. Roode immeditely made a dash for the side & tried to climb out, but, Aries was quick enough to catch him & pull him down. From there, it started to resemble a more tradition cage match. The action went back & forth, but, after a low blow Roode took control. The Champion ran the challenger's face across the cage busting him open. The site of his own blood sent Aries into a rage & he battled back with punches & kicks. Aried would send Roode into the cage head first repeatedly, each time the crowd cheered louder for the challenger. Aries then raked Roode's face across the cage, causing the champ to bleed as well. Aries saw an opening & headed for the cage door, but, Roode tackled him to keep him inside. Roode backed Aries into the corner & mounted the turnbuckle to get a better shot at Aries' head. Aries escaped & trapped Roode in the corner for a 10 count of shots to the face. The 2 stood toe to toe in the center of the ring trading punches. Roode then staggered Aries enough to hit a piledriver. The champ headed for the door and almost got all the way out before Aries dove & grabbed his leg, preventing any escape. The action contnued & at one point both men battled on the ropes as the scaled the same side of the cage. Aries got the better of the exchange & suplexed Roode off the ropes to the canvas. Aries tried to climb back out the same side, but, again Roode would pull him back down. Both men were bleeding profusely as Roode would hit the final move of the match: the It Factor. Roode then crawled across the canvas & out the door as Aries lay motionless on the canvas to retain the championship. Card rating: *** 1/4 Bound For Glory Series ========== 1. James Storm 58 2. Kurt Angle 57 3. Jeff Hardy 48 4. Rob Van Dam 31 5. Samoa Joe 30 6. AJ Styles 21 Bully Ray 21 Mr. Anderson 21 9. Christopher Daniels 10 10. Hernandez 7 Magnus 7 12. Robbie E -13 Attachments:

Ring of Honor Wrestling on CMT August 15, 2012The show opens with Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness welcoming the fans. Kelly tells everyone that tonight not only will new #1 contenders to the RoH World Tag Team Title, but, Kevin Steen will defend the RoH World Title again against "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero one more time. McGuinness adds that while that would be a main event any other night of the year, tonight is even more special because there will be a 20 Man Gauntlet Match to determine just who will recieve the shot at the RoH Champion (whoever that may be) at Death Before Dishonor on September 9th. ON that note they give it to the ring announcer to introduce the participants for the opening match. Dakota Darsow defeated Kyle O'Reilly when Kyle O'Reilly passed out in the Barely Legal in 0:08:39. Rating: *** [Delirious interfered against Dakota Darsow.]During the match, Darsow cut an insert promo on how he never really gave up last week & it was a bad call by the referee. Darsow had control for most of the match. As he beat on O'Reilly, Darsow kept refering to him as Deliririous with every hard strike. Every stiff kick & punch that O'Reilly recieved, Darsow would call him Delirious. This continued until Delirious himself charged to the ring & started distracting Darsow. Delirious almost got into teh ring, which caused Darsow to release the Barely Legal, but, as soon as the referee forced Delirious to leave ringside, Darsow hit O'Reilly with a stiff kick to the temple, knocking him out. Darsow then locked on the barely Legal again, but, O'Reilly was unable to respond, leaving the referee no choice but to stop the match. Kevin Steen defeated D'Angelo Dinero via pinfall in 0:07:05. Rating: *** (Kevin Steen retained the ROH World Title.)Before the match, Steen told everyone that afew weeks ago he put a stop to Dinero's hopes to be RoH Champion & usher in a new era of prosperity. He said that he was not about RoH's prosperity, but, its destruction. Steen said that he didn't need help from anyone to retain his title against "The Pope", all he would need is the knowledge locked in his twisted mind. During the match, Steen lived up to his word by battering Dinero with kicks & punches. He also would poke Dinero in the eyes & hit him below the belt whenever he felt his momentum slip. The match spilled out of the ring on afew occations. Both men would use these chances to see how far the rules could be bent, if not out right broken. Bothmen dug deep into their bags of tricks, but, Steen's was just alittle deeper when he caught Dinero from behind with a roll up & even pulled the tights to gain a 3 count & retain the RoH World Title. #1 Contenders Match: The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) defeated Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino when J. Briscoe pinned J. Jacobs with the J-Driller in 0:13:05. Rating: ** 1/2The brawl in the ring during last week's main event was nothing compared to the one that started the match tonight. Jacobs & Corino fought the Briscoes tooth & nail at the start, but, once the referee regained order the pace of the match changed dramatically. Both teams displayed their great scientific knowledge, scoring many near falls apiece. Both teams would use double teaming to the limit of the ref's count. just like in the previous match, all 4 men pushed the limit of the rules to see how far they could go. Jacobs thought he had everything in hand against Mark Briscoe, but, thanks to a blind tag from his brother Jay, any momentum they had built was taken away. Jay blindsided Jacobs with a dropkick & immediately followed it up with the Jay Driller to pick up the win & earn he & his brother a shot at the RoH World Tag Team Title at Death Before Dishonor. Before the match Kevin Kelly announced that due to the attack 2 weeks ago by Mike Bennett, Rhett Titus will not be able to compete in tonight's main event. He added that Titus will be replaced by the #20 entrant, whose name was to be kept secret until that man makes his entrance into the match. 20-Man Battle Royal For A Shot At The Ring Of Honor World Title: Colt Cabana won a 20-man Royal Rumble: x D. Lethal would go on to eliminate a total of 5 men, the most of all the participants. D'Angelo Dinero, while unsuccessful in his attempt to capture the RoH Title earlier in the night, tried to earn another chance by competing in the gauntlet. Dinero was able to make it to the final 4, but, TNA's Samoa Joe made an unscheduled appearence & attacked "The Pope" in the ring & even hit the Muscle Buster before leaving the ring & the building. Dinero lay motionless on the canvas, the perfect prey for the "War Machine" Rhino. Colt Cabana made his return to RoH after over a year as the last man to enter the gauntlet. The crowd was into the former 2 time NWA World Champion as he high fived his way to the ring, and with only 4 other particpants to go through, he liked his chances for a victory. After just over 8 minutes since his arrival, it was down to Cabana & Rhino. Both former WWE Superstars and both former NWA World Heavyweight Champions that have never tasted RoH gold. Rhino had Cabana down & set for the Gore, as he charged Colt brought his foot up & kicked the "War Machine" in the head, staggering him toward the ropes. Cabana saw his chance & dumped the stunned Rhino to the floor to earn not only a huge win on the night he returned to Ring of Honor, but, a shot at the championship that eluded him for much of his career against possibly the most hated man in RoH history. I wasn't sure what to make of the attack on Dinero as of yet. Maybe because he deflected? Getting Joe back in ROH would be killer. Can't wait to see how it plays out.

TNA Impact August 16, 2012The show kicks off with highlights from last Sunday's Hardcore Justice PPV. After the highlights, Mike Teney & Taz welcome everyone to the show, but, they are quickly interupted by Robbie E's music, as he & Robbie T come to the ring. Robbie E talks about Hardcore Justice & having the X-Division Title stole from him by Chavo Guerrero. Robbie E demanded Chavo come out & give him a rematch tonight. Instead of the new X-Division Champion, TNA Impact General Manager: Hulk Hogan stepped out onto the runway. Hogan told Robbie that since he was so far behind in the BFG Series that he would need to earn his rematch. So, tonight Robbie E would have to face a different champion: 1/2 of the TNA World Tag Team Champions: "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. Hogan told Robbie that it didn't matter if he won the BFG Series, he just needed to have a positive point value to get a title match. Bound For Glory Series: Christopher Daniels pinned Robbie E with the Best Moonsault Ever in 0:08:04. Rating: **** 1/4Daniels was accompanied by his championship partner Kazarian for this match, to try & counteract any interference from Robbie T. Robbie E wrestled the match of his life against Daniels, but, it just wasn't enough. Both men are basically out of the BFG Series, but, you would never have known it from the match tonight. Back & forth brawling, both hitting high flying moves, and both kicking out of the other's finisher, until Daniels hit the Ange's Wings & followed it up with the BME to score & points & the pin. After the match, Christian York rushed to the ring, armed witha chair in an attempt to try & get some revenge on the tag champs for embarressing him at Hardcore Justice. Both champions scrambled from the ring before any damage could be done, but, York warned them that the war between them is not over. Kenny King pinned Scorpio Sky with the Coronation in 0:09:28. Rating: ** 3/4Scorpio Sky, who has been making waves on the independants for afew years now, made his debut much like the man he faced tonight, amid a slight controversy. Sky, rumored to be holding out for a tryout with "another company" desided he was better suited to go where pro wrestlers are more apprieciated. Sky & King shook hands before the match as a show of respect, but, that was as far as it would go. During the match, both men took liberties with the other & pushed the rules to the absolute limit. Sky thrilled the crowd with his high flying, but, it would not be enough as King would be able to hit the Coronation to pick up a victory tonight. After the match, the 2 stood toe to toe in the middle of the ring. King offered his hand, just as Sky did in the beginning of the match. Sky accepted the gesture and the crowd applauded both men for their performance. Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) defeated Kid Kash and Gunner when C-Fed pinned Kash with the F Bomb in 0:11:20. Rating: ***Fed Up got their contracts after impressing the judges after their Gut Check Challenge & now it was time for their 1st official match. C-Fed & G-Fed took on TNA veterans Gunner & Kid Kash & wasted no time in setting the pace with double teaming. Kash & Gunner held their own through aggression & breaking the rules. Fed Up was able to hold them off though & it was over when G-Fed lifted kash up & C-Fed hit the F Bomb to pick up their 1st official TNA win, much to the crowd's approval. Samoa Joe came out with a microphone to address the crowd. He said that just 2 days earlier he showed up on the RoH show & made sure that D'Angelo Dinero didn't win the 20 man gauntlet to get another shot at the RoH Title. Joe said that even though he got paid very well for his actions, he would have done it for free for personal reasons. He said he was sick & tired of "The Pope" saying that he would usher in a new era of prosperity for RoH. Joe reminded everyone that he is a former RoH World Champion & the longest reigning champion in that companies history he held that title for nearly 2 years, longer than anyone else. He said he has forgotten more about RoH than Dinero could ever learn. Joe then dared Dinero to come back to TNA if he wanted any revenge, but, he had better do it before Bound For Glory since he plans on winning the BFG Series & then the TNA World Title at the ppv. Bound For Glory Series: Samoa Joe made Rob Van Dam submit to the Coquina Clutch in 0:11:02. Rating: *** 1/4Joe & RVD put on a championship caliber match that had everyone on the edge of their seats. Joe seemed more aggressive than usual tonight as Teney noted that he tapped out to Kurt Angle last Sunday at the ppv. Taz commented that maybe that loss woke up a "sleeping monster that no one will be able to contain". RVD has battled all over the world & been a world champion, but, tonight Joe's determination & renewed sense of malice proved to be too much for the man called "the whole f'n show". The 2 would trade stiff kicks, but, joe's size & power proved to be the difference. RVD thought he had Joe down, but, it was a ploy by the mighty Samoan. As Van Dam scaled the ropes for the 5 Star Frog Splash, Joe got to his feet & hit the Muscle Buster. He followed it up with the Coquina Clutch, forcing RVD to tap out, earning him 10 points & passing Van Dam in the BFG Standings. Morgan told everyone before the match that he has finally obtained single's gold in TNA after so many long years of being patient & waiting for his time. Except that what it took to get a shot at the title was mowing down the competition in quick fashion & leaving the "powers that be" no choice but to grant him the match. Morgan also said that now that he has the title, it will take a miracle to get it from around his waist. For the TNA Television Title: Matt Morgan pinned Hernandez with the Carbon Footprint in 0:09:17. Rating: *** (Matt Morgan retained the TNA Television Title.)Hernandez & Morgan were evenly matched & both recieved a mixed reaction from the crowd as no one seemed to know just who to get behind. Morgan, who has been unbeaten since his return to TNA showed no signs of fatigue from his hard fought battle at Sunday's ppv. Hernandez, who is near the bottom of the BFG standings, fought hard & showed everyone why he was chosen for the prestigious series, even going as far as to score afew near falls on the champion. but it would be Morgan who would come out on top, hitting the Carbon Footprint seemingly out of nowhere to retain his newly won championship. As he held the title high for all to see, most of the crowd was on his side cheering. Robbie E comes back to the ring & again demanded that he get a rematch for the X-Division Title. He said he didn't care about what Hogan said earlier tonight, he was here to fight. just then Bully Ray's music plays as he storms to the ring. Ray said he went through hell on Sunday & that he was in the mood to punish someone for it. Before he could react, Ray attacked Robbie as the referee ran out & called for the bell. Bound For Glory Series: Bully Ray pinned Robbie E with the Bully Bomb in 0:06:52. Rating: *** 1/4Ray completely dominated Robbie E & spent the entire match just brutalizing him from corner to corner. Ray showed no mercy and it seemed like he just wanted to torture Robbie E as he could have finished him off at any time. Ray beat Robbie down to the point that the referee was about to stop the match, but, Ray would not allow it. Finally, Ray picked up a near lifeless Robbie & hit the Bully Bomb to pick up 7 points & the victory. TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Bobby Roode walked down to the ring dressed in a suit, with the championship belt draped over his shoulder. Roode entered the ring & took the ring announcer's microphone to address the crowd. Roode talked about how for the second straight ppv he defeated Austin Aries. He reminded the crowd how back before Destination X, he told Aries that it would be "all risk, no reward" when he gave up the X-Division title to challenge him. Roode continued by saying that he has proved time & again how good he is, no matter the opponent or the stipulation. He then said it was time to think about new challengers & ran down the BFG competitors: AJ Styles: beaten, Samoa Joe: beaten, Rob Van Dam: beaten, Mr. Anderson: beaten, Jeff Hardy: beaten, Kurt Angle: beaten, and finally James Storm: beaten & broken. He said that time & time again he has proven to be the new standard of what a professional wrestler should be and the personification of championship material. Roode explains that he has the "It Factor" and it will be a lng time before anyone can take the gold from him. Roode then left the ring & joined Teney & Taz at the ringside commentary table for tonight's main event. Bound For Glory Series: AJ Styles pinned James Storm with the Styles Clash in 0:10:57. Rating: **** [Bobby Roode interfered against James Storm.]Styles still seemed alittle worse for wear after suffering an attack from Christopher Daniels & Kazarian this past Sunday, but, he still gave the fans a helluva show. Styles was able to use alot of his high flying moves to keep Storm off balance & score quite afew near falls early on. Storm was able to counter Styles ground game & managed to out brawl the TNA Grand Slam winner. Storm & Styles battled back & forth for several minutes, until Storm got the advantage by hitting his signature Closing TIme facebreaker. Storm then turned his attention to Roode who was still doing commentary. Storm yelled out that he was about to add another 7 points to lock up the BFG Series & then he was coing for Roode's title. Storm set Styles up for the Last Call and that is when Roode struck. He dropped his headset & jumped up on the ring apron. Storm turned back to go after Roode, allowing Styles more time to recover. When Roode felt his distraction had done enough damage, he jumped down & backed away from the ring. Storm then went back toward Styles, who caught "The Cowboy" by surprise with a kick to the midsection & followed it up with the Styles Clash to pick up a much needed victory & 7 points in the standings. Roode laughed as he held his championship high while he backed up the runway. Styles warned Roode he would be coming for him. Storm recovered, seething, and stared down Roode & Styles as Impact went off the air. Card rating: *** 1/4 Bound For Glory Series ========== 1. James Storm 58 2. Kurt Angle 57 3. Jeff Hardy 48 4. Samoa Joe 40 5. Rob Van Dam 31 6. AJ Styles 28 Bully Ray 28 8. Mr. Anderson 21 9. Christopher Daniels 17 10. Hernandez 7 Magnus 7 12. Robbie E -13 Attachments:

Ring of Honor Wrestling on CMT August 21, 2012The show opens with highlights from last week's main event, more specifically Samoa Joe's interference against D'Angelo Dinero & Colt Cabana's victory. After the footage, Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness welcome everyone to tonight's broadcast & say that tonight's main event will be a one on one encounter between the final 2 men from last week's gauntlet: Rhino & Colt Cabana. McGuinness tells everyone that we will hear from D'Angelo Dinero as weel about the Samoa Joe situation. He adds that he feels that Joe's actions were very disrespectful & he should have to pay for it. Just as he finishes up, the participants for the opening match are on their way to the ring. Kirby Mack and Ryan McBride defeated Adam Cole and Eddie Edwards when R. McBride pinned A. Cole with the 450 Splash in 0:15:36. Rating: ****After a few weeks of speculation by the announcers was finally confirmed as it was announced before the match that at Death Before Dishonor, Adam Cole will defend the RoH TV Title against Ryan McBride. Edwards & McBride started the match in the ring, but, it only took a few moments before they were trading punches on the floor. McBride got the worst of that exvhange, but, managed to escape & tag out to Mack. Mack got the better of Edwards & forced him to tag Cole. When Cole was tagged in, McBride quickly acted & joined his partner in the ring for some double teaming. Soon all 4 were in the ring brawling as the referee desperately tried to maintain order. It took several minutes for order to be restored, but, when it finally happened Cole & Edwards were back in control. Cole & Edwards would use quick tags to keep Kirby Mack isolated from his partner. The momentum swung back in the favor of Mack & McBride when Cole missed a clothesline on Mack & recieved a Yakuza Kick instead. mack then made a hot tag to McBride, who came at the TV Champ with everything he had. Cole would try to escape, but, McBride wuld catch him with a uranage ending him hard to the mat. McBride then scaled the corner & hot the 450 Splash for the win as Kirby Mack made sure that Edwards didn't get back into te ringto stop the count. Dakota Darsow and Delirious battled to a double countout in 0:12:29. Rating: * 3/4Darsow made a big splash by defeating El Generico, but, when he started making fun of masked wrestlers Delirious returned to RoH to stand against him. Darsow, though a relative newcomer inside the ring, was able to go toe to toe with Delirious, proving his fathers teachings were well learned. The referee lost control of this one about half way through, but, refused to just throw out the match. Everytime both men would get into the ring, one would throw the other to the floor, where the fight would continue. Neither man would back down as they both spilled through the rpes to the ringside floor. They would trade punches & chops outside the ring, right against the barricades to the delight of the fans. they would even trade blows with whatever they could get their hands on to use as a weapon. Neither seemed to care about the referee's count, even as it got closer to 10. Both just kept battling, even when the referee was left with no choice but to declare the match a double countout. Security had to be called to seperate Darsow & Delirious from continuing their fight, but, it was a hard job to restrain either, as security & officials dragged them both to the back. Mike Bennett defeated Davey Richards by disqualification in 0:06:03. Rating: * 1/2 [Rhett Titus interfered against Mike Bennett.]Former RoH Champion: Richards was well prepared for Bennett. Both men showed great chain wrestling skill as they traded holds. Bennett ued his beautiful manager/girlfriend: Maria Kanellis as a distraction whenever he got into trouble. Bennett would gain the advantage through her and take control over Richards. Bennett set Richards up & delivered the Awesome Coolness. Bennett went for the pin, when out from the back , Rhett Titus charged the ring. Titus attacked Bennett, breaking the pin attempt & causing Richards to get disqualified. Titus assaulted Bennett as payback for the attack after their tag team match afew weeks back that put Titus on the shelf. Bennett & Kanellis manged to escape Titus' wrath. Titus stood alone in the ring as the crowd cheered & Bennett just looked on in shock. Joey Kaos pinned Roderick Strong with the Kaostrify in 0:09:37. Rating: *** 1/2Kaos returned tonight looking for respect and he figured the best way t get it was by taking on a former RoH Champion like Strong. Strong tested Kaos by outwrestling him, but, Kaos showed he could hang with the best by stcking through & battling back. Kaos showed his brawling skills by punching & kicking his way back in control, but, also mixed in a few suplexes to keep Strong guessing. Truth Martini tried to help his man by pulling Strong from the ring, but, Kaos took both men down on the floor by diving on them with a plancha. Kaos never really gave up control after that as he kept Strong backpeddling. The end came when he placed Strong on the turnbuckle & delivered the Kaostrify to pick up the win. "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero comes to the ring with a microphone. He tells the crowd that last week, he was on his way to winning the 20 man gauntlet to earn another shot at the RoH Title. He said that is the way it was supposed to go down, but, thanks to Samoa e said he heard Joe on Impact & how he said that he forgot more about RoH than "Pope" would ever learn. He heard Joe say he was the longest reigning champion in RoH history. Dinero mentioned Joe's challenge to "come back to TNA" and let everyone know that if Joe was too scared to meet him face to face in RoH, he would be more than happy to take Joe down on his own turf. but unlike Joe, he said he would make sure Joe saw it coming. Brian Kendrick and Paul London defeated BLKOUT (Ruckus and Sabian) when B. Kendrick pinned Sabian with the Sliced Bread #2 in 0:11:31. Rating: *** 1/4Both of these teams had similar styles, even though their looks were so drastically different. It was an old school tag team wrestling fan's dream to watch these 2 teams trade holds & double team manuvers that neither team was really cheered over the other. Neither team could gain an advantage since they were so evenly matched. It seemed like the first team to make a mistake would be the one that could lose the match. The mistake came when during an exchange of kicks to the thigh between Sabian & Brian Kendrick and Sabian's kick was blocked & reversed into a dragon screw. Kendrick then followed that up with the Sliceed Bread #2 to pick up a much needed win since their return to RoH. Tommaso Ciampa pinned Jay Lethal with the Cradle DDT in 0:10:20. Rating: *** [Joey Ryan interfered against Jay Lethal.]Joey Ryan accompanied Ciampa to the ring for his battle against the target of Ryan's anger since his arrival in RoH: former TNA wrestler Jay Lethal. Lethal gave everything he had against an opponent that is hard enough to defeat one on one, but, with Ryan in his corner it felt almost like a handicap match. Everytime Lethal could gain an advantage, Ryan would cause a distraction that would swing the momentum back in Ciampa's favor. Ciampa's cold blooded, no nonsense style kept Lethal grounded. Lethal could not take on both men no matter how hard he tried & in the end, the numbers game was too much. As Ryan distracted the referee, Ciampa low blowed Lethal & hit the Cradle DDT for the victory. After the match, Ryan stood over Lethal, taunting him about how he is 87% better than Lethal. Colt Cabana pinned Rhino with the Colt .45 in 0:13:33. Rating: ** 1/2Before the match, RoH World Champion: Kevin Steen joined Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness at the commentary table once again. Steen talked about how he was again not booked in favor of the man deemed to be the #1 contender. Steen kept refering to Cabana as "Mr. RoH" since in his opinion Cabana was everything that Roh wants in a champion. Rhino gave Colt all he could handle using his power to keep Cabana off balance. Rhino tried every shortcut he could as well; from choking Colt against the ropes to refusing to break a submission when Colt was in the ropes. Cabana was able to fight back & use his speed to confuse the "War Machine" by coming at him from all sides. Both men would take turns having the advantage, but, it wouldn't take Colt long to capitalize on an ill timed ditraction by Steen. Steen got on the apron to distract Cabana & allow Rhino to set up for the Gore. As Rhino charged, Colt got out of the way & Rhino connected with the RoH Champ, sending him crashing to the floor. As Rhino looked at Steen in shock, Colt would catch him completely by surprise with the Colt .45 to pick up the win. After the match, Colt was able to get his hands on the RoH Title & held it high laughing at Steen as he clutched his ribs on the arena floor, telling the champion that at Death Before Dishonor the belt would come home with him. Card rating: ** 3/4 Attachments:

After te footage, TNA World Champion: Bobby Roode comes to the ring, dressed in a suit & carrying a microphone to address the crowd. Roode tells everyone that he has already beaten Storm often enough that he doesn't deserve to win the BFG Series. So as champion, he is taking it upon himself to make sure that Storm doesn't win another match & falls in the standings. That way he will be unable to compete in the finals & earn a shot at the title Roode has held since November. Roode continued to berate Storm, until Storm's music hit & "The Cowboy" walked out to the ring. Storm had a microphone of his own & he told Roode that for nearly 11 months, he has hear dhim say the same thing. It was time for all the talk to end because Storm knows the truth. He knows that the only reason Roode wants to keep him from winning the BFG Series is because he's scared. He's scared that deep down he knows that he can't really beat Storm in a fair fight. Roode interupted & told Storm that he could beat him anytime, anyplace. Storm said that he was willing to test that theory & hit Roode with the microphone. Storm continued his assault until security came out to pull him off. Roode then escaped the ring & hurried to the back with the TNA World Title. Bound For Glory Series: Jeff Hardy pinned Robbie E with the Swanton Bomb in 0:07:05. Rating: *** 1/2Backstage, security is still trying to restrain james Storm from going after Bobby Roode. TNA Impact General Manager: Hulk Hogan walks up & calms the situation. Hogan tells Storm that he will be able to get his hands on Roode soon enough, but, right now the TNA Champion has left the building. Hogan then tells Storm that he needs to go somewhere, have a beer & cool off & gives him the night off. Storm snatches his hat from one of the security guards & walks out of the arena. Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez defeated Kid Kash and Gunner when Hernandez pinned Kash with the Border Toss in 0:09:38. Rating: * 1/4Backstage we again see TNA Impact GM: Hulk Hogan. This time he is on the phone with someone talking about Samoa Joe's recent involvement in RoH. Hogan tells whoever he is talking to that he agrees that it was worth every penny they paid to keep D'Angelo Dinero from winning the 20 man gauntlet. Hogan assures the person on the other end that Dinero will not get anywhere near the ring if he shows up tonight. Bound For Glory Series: Mr. Anderson pinned Rob Van Dam with the Mic Check in 0:10:22. Rating: *** 3/4Footage is shown of the rivalry between Christian York & Kazarian from all the way back when York debuted in a TNA Gut Check Challenge. The video goes all the way up to last week when York attempted to assault the TNA Tag Team Champions with a chair. Christy Hemme catches up with York on his way to the ring. She asks York if he still thinks he can take Daniels & Kazarian's tag team gold by himself. He tells her that they are the tag champs for a reason & all it will take is the right partner to take away the things that Kaz & Daniels hold most dear. Christian York pinned Christopher Daniels with the Southern Cross in 0:10:09. Rating: **** [Kazarian interfered against Christian York.]Kazarian & Daniels double team York after the match & beat him down. The assault continues until officials rush to the ring to pull the tag champs away. Trainers check on York, who gets back to his feet & vows to have his revenge next week. The big screen lights up & shows D'Angelo Dinero trying to get into the building, but, security not allowing him hrough the doors. TNA GM Hogan steps outside to confront Dinero & tells him that the only way he gets inside is if he can find a ticket to tonight's sold out show. Dinero shrugs off the security guards & tells Hogan that nothing is going to stop him from getting to Joe before walking ff into the night. Bound For Glory Series: Kurt Angle pinned Magnus with the Angle Slam in 0:08:46. Rating: ***Matt Morgan is interviewed by Christy Hemme in the ring before his match. She asks the TV Champ how it feels to finally hold single's gold in TNA. He tells her that it feels great. He has taken the first step towards his destiny of becoming TNA CHampion. He added that he feels rejuvenated & refocused now that he is the TV Champion. He finished up by saying he is willing to defend the title week after week if needed, but, it will take a miracle to take the belt from around his waist. For the TNA Television Title: Matt Morgan pinned Eric Young with the Carbon Footprint in 0:07:09. Rating: ** (Matt Morgan retained the TNA Television Title.)Samoa Joe is stopped backstage by SoCal Val. She asks him about his attack last week on D'Angelo Dinero & his comments on Impact. Joe tells her that he was paid "very well" for what he did, but, if the truth be known, he would have done it for free. He tells her that he never liked Dinero when he was on the TNA roster & now he likes him less since he thinks he has what it takes to be at the top of RoH; a company Joe helped put on the map. He then changed the subject to his match up nextin the BFG Series. Joe continues to taunt Dinero by calling him a coward & saying that "The Pope" is all talk. Suddenly from the entranceway, former TNA superstar Rhino stepped out from the back. The crowd cheered loudly as "The War Machine" slowly walked to the ring as Joe readied himself for battle. With his attention on Rhino, Joe didn't see D'Angelo Dinero jump the barricade & slip into the ring. RING OF HONOR August 28, 2012The show opens with footage from TNA Impact when Rhino & D'Angelo Dinero infiltrated the Impact Zone & Dinero punching out Samoa Joe. After the video, Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness welcome everybody to tonight's show. They hype up the actions of Dinero & Rhino & praise them for standing up for RoH. Soon after, Dinero & Rhino come to the ring to address the crowd. Dinero talks about how afew weeks ago, Samoa Joe cost him his shot at the RoH Title by interfering in the gauntlet match & how Joe challenged him to come to TNA Impact & fight him. Dinero also talks about how TNA General Manager: Hulk Hogan tried to keep him out of the arena, but, he managed to get in anyway, thanks to Rhino. Rhino adds that it was TNA's own fault for what they did since they started the fight by paying Joe to come to RoH. Just then RoH General Manager: Eric Bischoff comes out. He says that he may have not been on camera as much lately, but, he has been busy behind the scenes. He says that he has kept a close eye on what has been going on in RoH & TNA, and that he is very unhappy. He is unhappy that Dinero & Rhino chose to stoop t the level that TNA used by going on their show & attacking one of their stars without his permission, which he wouldn't have given anyway. He says that since the 2 of them are so buddy-buddy now, he has the appropriate punishment for both men. Tonight, D'Angelo Dinero & Rhino will face off one on one in that very ring. He adds that if they don't want to compete, both men will be suspended. And to make sure that no one from TNA can get into the building, he is going to have the doors chained & locked. Bischoff leaves as Rhino & Dinero look angry at his decision. Sami Callihan pinned Kyle O'Reilly with the Headlock Driver in 0:08:04. Rating: *** 1/2Veda Scott catches up with RoH Executive Producer: Jim Cornette. She asks for his opinion about Eric Bischoff's decision about making "The Pope" & "The War Machine" face off against one another tonight as punishment for going on TNA Impact to attack Samoa Joe. Cornette responds by saying that he is personnaly proud of the 2 for standing up for RoH & showing TNA that they are not going anywhere & refuse to back down. He added that he & Bischoff have never seen eye to eye in the past & this is no exception, as he thinks it sucks that they should be punished. As for chaining the doors shut, he thinks that Bischoff makes RoH look weak & afraid by trying to keep TNA out. Cornette feels like if TNA wants to fight, let them come & find out first hand just how tough the RoH roster is. Rhett Titus pinned Roderick Strong with the Muff Driver in 0:07:10. Rating: *** 1/4 [Mike Bennett interfered against Rhett Titus.]Titus & Strong put forth a good showing until Mike Bennett came out to try & attack Titus. Bennett jumped on to the apron to distract Titus, but, he was not fooled. Titus caught Bennett with a superkick that knocked him to the floor. Titus then turned his attention back to Strong & maintained control enough to pick up the win. After the match, Bennett would try his luck again as he jumped Titus from behind. The 2 brawled for afew moments, but, when titus gained the advantage, Bennett bailed from the ring & headed to the back. Jay Lethal, Delirious and Ryan McBride defeated Adam Cole, Dakota Darsow and Joey Ryan when Lethal pinned Darsow with the Lethal Injection in 0:25:09. Rating: *** 3/4Backstage, Veda Scott talks with RoH GM: Eric Bischoff. She mentions what Jim Cornette said earlier & he responded by saying Cornette's opinion matters to him about as much as her's does. He said what does matter to him are results and he always gets results. He says he that he just got off the phone with TNA Impact General Manager: Hulk Hogan & they have struck a deal. At Death Before Dishonor, "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero will take on "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe in a match held strictly to the RoH Code of Honor. He says this will be the match to deside just which brand is stronger. Jerry Lynn pinned Eddie Edwards with the Cradle Piledriver in 0:09:35. Rating: *** 1/4Veda Scott is with Colt Cabana backstage. Instead of asking about his upcoming title shot at Death Before Dishonor, she asks his opinion on what is happening between TNA & RoH. Clt says that it is a crucial time in RoH as they are now fighting for their lives, so to speak. He says that TNA fired the first shot in the war, but, RoH is in it for the long haul. The only problem he sees is that RoH doesn't have a definitive leader. He says "The Pope" can inspire, but, it takes a champion to lead, and Kevin Steen isn't the champion he claims to be. Cabana says Steen takes shortcuts & weasels his way around matches to hold on to the title. He says tht is why he came back to RoH when he did. he knows the locker room needs a leader & the people need a champion they can count on. He mentions how Steen once called hi "Mr. RoH" because he is what management wants as a champion, and he's right. RoH management called him to come back & help them win a war against a company with more money & a double tough roster of bonafide stars, because they don't have faith in Steen & his flunkies, who openly say they want to tear down RoH from the inside. He finishes up by saying at Death Before Dishonor, he will become the man that RoH needs to lead them into the future by taking the gold & making the world take notice of RoH like they did back in 2002 when they broke on the scene. The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) defeated Brian Kendrick and Paul London when M. Briscoe pinned B. Kendrick with the Cutthroat Suplex in 0:10:28. Rating: ** 1/2RoH Tag Champs: The World's Greatest Tag Team joined McGuinness & Kelly at commentary. Haas & Benjamin praised The Briscoes toughness, but, said they were lacking the one thing that made them champions: talent. They talked about defending the gold at Death Before Dishonor & bragged about how easy it will be to retain the championship. After the match, The Briscoes challenged the champs to get in the ring with them for a fight, but, Haas & Benjamin simply taunted their challengers by holding up the tag team titles as they walked away as we head to commercial. Back from commercial, footage is shown from earlier tonight of the match made between Rhino & D'Angelo Dinero. D'Angelo Dinero pinned Rhino with the DDE in 0:08:43. Rating: ****RoH Champion: Kevin Steen is shown walking down a hall on his way to the ring for the main event. Just as he is about to pass the door Eric Bischoff had chained shut, he stops & pauses. He looks at the chain & smiles as we head to our final commercial break. Colt Cabana defeated Kevin Steen by disqualification in 0:10:02. Rating: ** 1/2 [Bully Ray and Samoa Joe interfered against Colt Cabana.]Steen takes his title & heads to the back laughing at the chaos in the ring as Ray & Joe assault Cabana. They take turns hitting their most impactful moves on him until D'Angelo Dinero leads the charge followed by the rest of the RoH locker room. Joe & Ray bail from the ring & escape through the crowd as Dinero & the other RoH stars check on Cabana. All the while Steen is standing at the entranceway laughing & clutching his title as we go off the air.
