This is more of a Virtual PC question than a TNM question but maybe someone has gone through what I'm going through...
So I've recently been bitten by the TNM bug again and have decided to tackle a somewhat arduous process of getting not just TNM but all assorted plugins and features working on a Vista computer.
That means discarding DosBox and going with an XP partition inside Virtual PC 2007. Now, is there anything to be done about the fact that Virtual PC is SLOOOOW as molasses? I have nothing installed in the guest directory other than what came with the XP CD and am using my host PC TNM directory as a shared folder. I don't think sharing the folder is creating the issue, because it's Virtual PC itself that's slow, not just TNM7 which is almost unusable.
Any ideas?

And a couple of followups:
- What I MAY end up doing is using VirtualPC only for when I need to get into the Windows-based plugins. Since I'm using my TNM7F as a shared folder between the host and guest OSes, this should work, correct? That is, a change in the Special Move or Crowd Chant Editor will be in effect if I use DosBox?
- Am I correct that entrance music doesn't work in DosBox? If it does, how would I go about getting it to function? (It doesn't work at all in VirtualPC, either). Could this be related to the non-functioning-in-DosBox Theme Music Wizard?

I was using TNM7 pretty successfully on Oracle VM Virtualbox. But at one point I upgraded it and suddenly none of the plugins work.
Can't get any of the plugins to work in DosBox either, so I'm kinda frustrated..
