30 Man Royal Rumble Match
The early part of the Rumble match was dominated by the No.1 man out of the draw, The Undertaker. He quickly disposed of the 2nd wrestler in the match, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka quickly followed by entrants 3, Greg “Hammer” Valentine and 4, Sgt Slaughter (although Slaughter was eliminated first). Bad News Brown was the next victim of the man from Death Valley, as he made a quick exit from the match. However, in perhaps the biggest shock in WWF history, The Undertaker eliminated entrant No.6 in just 3 seconds. The reason for the big shock – entrant No.6 was former WWF Champion Hulk Hogan!!!! Next into the action was Dusty Rhodes, followed by Hercules and Jake “Snake” Roberts. The next man to head over the top rope and out of the match was The Undertaker himself as he was taken out by Dusty Rhodes. The Warlord and Jim “Anvil” Niedhart made their way to the ring as entrants 10 and 11, as Dusty was eliminated by Jake “Snake” Roberts. The next man into the ring was also to have a big impact on the Rumble, the mighty Earthquake! Niedhart and Hercules were eliminated in quick succession by the Snake, before Earthquake took care of The Warlord, leaving Roberts and Earthquake in the ring as entry No.13 “Hacksaw” Duggan made his way to the ring. Despite being against the odds, Duggan eliminated Roberts. Honky Tonk Man and the Texas Tornado were next into the action and it was Honky who disposed of Duggan, before “Dr Death” Steve Williams joined the fray followed by The Ultimate Warrior who stormed to the ring. “Dr Death” eliminated the Tornado before surprisingly being taken out himself by Earthquake, quickly followed by entry no.18 Dino Bravo (who lasted a mere 18 seconds!). “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase entered next before the Warrior took out the Honky Tonk Man. Tito Santana and “Macho King” Randy Savage were entries 20 & 21, before the Warrior was eliminated by Earthquake. InterContinental Champion Rick Martel was next followed by The Barbarian. Martel lasted less than 3 minutes as he was taken out by Ted DiBiase before his former tag team partner Santana was eliminated by Savage, leaving Earthquake, DiBiase, The Barbarian and Savage in the ring. Paul Roma was next in before an exhausted Earthquake was taken out by the Million Dollar Man, followed by Roma eliminating The Barbarian. Bret “Hitman” Hart as next as The Barbarian was disposed of by Roma and Brutus “Barber” Beefcake was entry no. 26. Hart made a massive impact, eliminating former WWF Champion “Macho King” Randy Savage, before Beefcake was taken out by DiBiase surviving less than a minute! Roma went next, Hart sending him packing leaving just DiBiase and the “Hitman” in the ring briefly. The final four entrants all made it to the ring before there were any more eliminations as WWF Television Champion British Bulldog, The Mountie, Big Boss Man and finally Nikita Koloff all took their places in the match. The action continued with 6 men in the ring for almost another 12 minutes before the Boss Man was eliminated by DiBiase. Another 7 minutes went by before there were any more eliminations and then there were 3 in quick succession as The Mountie took out the Bulldog, before being taken out by DiBiase followed by Bret Hart throwing Nikita Koloff over the top rope, leaving just “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Bret “Hitman” Hart as the last two men in the Royal Rumble!! For 18 minutes the action went back and forth, both men being almost eliminated on several occasions before ultimately and finally the Million Dollar Man managed to throw Hart over the top rope to win the match and claim a WWF World Heavyweight Title match at Wrestlemania VII!!!!
“Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase won the 1991 Royal Rumble (1:28:30)
Notes:
“Ravishing” Rick Rude is the WWF World Champion once again! Rude managed to defeat Mr Perfect at the first time of asking and reclaim the title he held up until October 1990. Perfect and his manager Bobby Heenan tried all the tricks they knew to hold on to the belt but to no avail as Rude was not to be denied, climbing to the top of the WWF once again. We also have new World Tag Team Champions as The Road Warriors once again managed to defeat the BrainBusters after a gruelling encounter to win the titles. A classic example of a tag team match between two veteran teams left fans wanting the match to never end but in the end it was Hawk and Animal who took the win and the belts home. It was not a good night for Bobby Heenan! There were good wins for Demolition and The Rockers in the other tag team matches on the night, but it was clear that Ax and Smash are developing a win at all costs attitude again as they showed no remorse at some rulebreaking moves during their win over Knobbs and Sags. Regaining their ruthless streak may help to regain their focus and prepare them for another tilt at the titles in the future. The Royal Rumble match itself was dominated by 3 men. Entrant No.1, The Undertaker looked unbeatable in the early stages at he eliminated 5 men with no trouble at all. Incredibly one of those men was Hulk Hogan, one big clothesline taking care of the former champion in just 3 seconds. In the end though, the match came down to Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase and Bret “Hitman” Hart, who eliminated 9 men between them and lasted 54 minutes and 42 minutes respectively. After 28 men had come and gone these two found the energy to continue fighting for another 18 minutes before eventually, DiBiase managed to send the “Hitman” over the top rope and claim his place in the main event at Wrestlemania VII.

I don't know about Dusty. He was the one that eliminated the Undertaker. That in itself could be the springboard for a big push.
Woulda liked to see Perfect get a longer title reign, but no issues with Rude as champion.

You make some very good points, The Undertaker elimination was unexpected but it can't be ignored.
I shall have to give it some more thought.
I can only plan 1-2 months (circuit time) in advance, I have no idea how others plan a lot further than that, my hat goes off to you all!

Notes:
There were two main talking points from the latest edition of Saturday Nights Main Event. Firstly, in a gruelling main event, Ax and Smash of Demolition became the No.1 contenders to the WWF World Tag Team Titles when they defeated three other teams in a special elimination match to earn the right for a shot at the belts against The Road Warriors at Wrestlemania VII.
Secondly, there were some stunning events earlier in the night that have led to an even more stunning announcement. Hercules and Paul Roma of Power ‘n’ Glory were still celebrating their latest victory when Greg “Hammer” Valentine made his way to the ring for his match. Hercules and Roma did not like being interrupted however and they set about Valentine in a vicious 2 on 1 attack. To the surprise of everyone it was Valentine’s former tag team partner, Brutus “Barber” Beefcake who came to his rescue, sending Power ‘n’ Glory running before helping the “Hammer” to his feet. The two men stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity before Valentine offered his hand to Beefcake. After another long pause Beefcake shook the hand of his former tag team partner as the whole crowd went absolutely crazy. Later it was announced that the Dream Team had reformed and were looking for a match against Power ‘n’ Glory!!!

“Ravishing” Rick Rude beat Mr Perfect 2 falls to 0 (28:42)
Notes:
Where to start on another action packed night in the WWF!! World Champion “Ravishing” Rick Rude very impressively defeated Mr Perfect in two straight falls to hold on to the title, and prepare himself perfectly his big title match at Wrestlemania against the “Million Dollar Man”! Talking of DiBiase, he managed to gain the win over Bret “Hitman” Hart in a rematch from their Royal Rumble showdown, but it wasn’t an easy win.
The Ultimate Warrior managed to fend off Nikita Koloff and retain the United States title, but we have a new WWF InterContinental Champion as “Macho King” Randy Savage defeated Rick Martel to win the title he last held back in 1987! No doubt Martel will be looking for a rematch and rumour has it former champion Mr Perfect (now temporarily out of the WWF title picture) may also be looking to regain his title. Meanwhile, the British Bulldog turned back to the big challenge of the Earthquake. However, perhaps the biggest shock of the night was the heel turn of Ax and Smash from Demolition. Teaming up with their Wrestlemania opponents The Road Warriors, the former champions saw their opportunity and took it, helping their opponents the BrainBusters and The Nasty Boys in a vicious 6-on-2 attack on Hawk and Animal, leaving them in agony in the middle of the ring. Suddenly, Mr Fuji made his way to ringside and once again announced himself as manager of Demolition as Ax and Smash lifted him on to their shoulders!!
Hulk Hogan may have finally seen off the threat of Jake “Snake” Roberts gaining a fine victory, just in time too before he faces a possible bigger threat to Hulkamania at Wrestlemania VII in the shape of The Undertaker. Talking of The Undertaker, he was taken to a time limit draw by the resurgent Dusty Rhodes, in a match arranged after their Royal Rumble showdown.
The Dream Team of Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine shook off some rust as they took care of Volkoff and Zhukov in their first tag team match for nearly 4 years.
Breaking News……Both Tully Blanchard and the Honky Tonk Man have left the WWF……

Rick Martel v Mr Perfect – double countout (8:50)
Non-title Match
“Ravishing” Rick Rude beat Virgil (11:10)
Notes:
The final wrestling card before Wrestlemania VII served as good preparation for the big event itself. Preparing for his big title defence at the big show, WWF Champion “Ravishing” Rick Rude saw off the Million Dollar Man’s valet Virgil in good style.
However, this led to a sneak attack from DiBiase, who had been at ringside during the match, leaving Rude in no doubt of the monumental challenge he faces at WMVII.
The only title on the line tonight was the Television Title as the British Bulldog successfully defended against Haku. As soon as the match finished another member of the Heenan Family, Arn Anderson rushed to ringside and attacked the man from Leeds, England. The vicious attack has led to the Bulldog requesting a match against Anderson at Wrestlemania.
Finally, the match between former InterContinental Champions Rick Martel and Mr Perfect descended into chaos when the current champion, “Macho King” Randy Savage made his way to the ringside and got involved in the match. All 3 men ended up fighting outside the ring, causing the match to end with a double countout. WWF President Vince McMahon has subsequently announced that at Wrestlemania, the InterContinental Title Match will be a triangle match between Savage, Martel and Perfect.
The full card for Wrestlemania VII has now been set, as the final matches were added to the card:

Part 1 of 2
Wrestlemania VII
The greatest show of the year certainly had a fantastic card of wrestling matches and fans were looking forward in anticipation to a very special night of action as almost the entire roster would be in action with 5 title matches as well as some hotly disputed feuds culminating tonight – probably. WWF President Vince McMahon had made an epic 14 matches with quality from top to bottom and one thing was for sure – the WWF might never be the same again.
The Rockers v The Barbarian & Haku
The opening match of the night featured the established team of Michaels and Janetty taking on two members of the Heenan Family, The Barbarian and Haku in a match of contrasting styles, the high flying Rockers against their stronger opponents. The Rockers have struggled for best part of a year and have not been able to propel themselves up the WWF ladder as they haven’t been able to win consistently and the story was the same tonight as somewhat surprisingly it was the hastily assembled team that gained the victory, much to the disappointment of the Rockers legion of fans.
The Barbarian & Haku beat The Rockers (9:44)
“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan v Earthquake
These two men have had their differences in the past but on this occasion it was Jimmy Hart’s man, the mighty Earthquake who came out on top as his superior weight took its toll on the brawler from Glen Falls, New York, gaining a big win.
Earthquake beat “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan (9:28)
WWF Television Title Match
British Bulldog v Arn Anderson
The first title match of the night feature the longest reigning champion, the British Bulldog taking on Arn Anderson from the Heenan Family. “The Enforcer” hadn’t wrestled a singles match for some time but thanks to a vicious attack on the Bulldog at the last Saturday Nights Main Event, he had been granted a title shot. There was no rust from Anderson though as he showed exemplary in-ring skills in a fantastic match between two of the best wrestlers in the whole WWF. After nearly 11 minutes of action it took a piece of trickery however for the match to be decided as Anderson managed to pin the Bulldog, with the help of the ring ropes and his manager, Bobby Heenan, out of sight of the referee, meaning we have a new Television Champion.
Arn Anderson beat The British Bulldog (10:58)
The Hart Foundation v The Nasty Boys
One of Jimmy Hart’s former pairings took on his current tag team as The Hart Foundation, strongly rumoured to be appearing at their last Wrestlemania as a tag team, took on Sags and Knobbs in a classic tag team encounter. The match went back and forth with neither pair able to gain an advantage for too long, until the intervention of Jimmy Hart (more importantly his megaphone) decided the match as one big blow stopped the Anvil in his tracks and allowed Sags to gain the pinfall. At the end of the match the Hitman and the Anvil embraced and saluted the fans in what seemed to be a clear indication that they would be going their separate ways from now on. The crowd were going absolutely crazy saluting one of the greatest tag teams in WWF history.
The Nasty Boys beat The Hart Foundation (11:04)
Texas Tornado v Dino Bravo
The strongman from Canada dominated this match for long spells, but was never quite able to put away the former InterContinental Champion and it cost him in the end as the Tornado landed his patented discus punch to gain a big win and some much needed momentum.
Texas Tornado beat Dino Bravo (11:16)
“American Dream” Dusty Rhodes v Jake “Snake” Roberts
The animosity between these men was clear to see from the outset as the passion of Rhodes, encouraged by a very vocal crowd faced off against the wily, devious veteran from Stone Mountain, Georgia in this classy bout between two very experienced competitors. Rhodes took a lot of punishment during the course of the match as Roberts used every trick in the book to try and put his man away but none succeeded as the reigning King of the Ring eventually managed to turn the tide, before landing a “Bionic Elbowdrop” to get the victory and continue his recent upwards progression within the singles ranks of the WWF.
“American Dream” Dusty Rhodes beat Jake “Snake” Roberts (18:07)
WWF InterContinental Title Match (Triangle Match)
“Macho King” Randy Savage v Rick Martel v Mr Perfect
A fantastic wrestling match between the 3 most recent InterContinental Champions was a fast moving action packed encounter with numerous near pinfalls and high risk moves. Because of the nature of the match, no one man could dominate for long but there was always a third man to break up any pinfall attempts. Eventually, and much to the disappointment of all, the bell sounded to signal the time limit was up and the match ended in a draw, leaving all 3 men (as well as the fans) disappointed and the “Macho King” remains the WWF InterContinental Champion, However, this came at a cost as Savage sustained a leg injury that will keep him out of action for about 2 months. We will wait to find out how WWF President Vince McMahon deals with this issue.
“Macho King” Randy Savage, Rick Martel and Mr Perfect fought to a time limit draw (20:00)
Sgt Slaughter v Nikita Koloff
This match was more than just about a wrestling feud. This match was almost about national pride as the patriot from the USA, Sgt Slaughter battled the “Russian Nightmare”, Nikita Koloff in a definite grudge match. A brutal encounter ensued as both men tried everything they could to be victorious, with Slaughter even shedding blood for the cause as his face became a mess by the end of the match. Finally, Koloff managed to take advantage of the weakened condition of his opponent and somewhat controversially (with use of the ropes), the Russian picked up a 1-2-3 and a hardfought win. I suspect nothing has been settled in this feud though.
Nikita Koloff beat Sgt Slaughter (17:02)
Hulk Hogan v The Undertaker
Arguably the match everyone came to see, as the legendary former WWF Champion Hulk Hogan faced off against possibly the biggest challenge of his career (at least since he faced Andre the Giant), in the form of The Undertaker. Paul Bearer’s man from Death Valley dominated the match and each time the Hulkster tried to mount some offence, it had no effect on the Deadman. Time and again he just unleashed punishment on the very popular former champion. Eventually, Hogan leapt to his feet, in his now famous “Hulking up” routine and for a brief second it appeared as though somehow the Hulkster had found a chink in the Undertaker’s armoury and he might even be able to see of this frightening challenge. However, Hogan and all of the fans were shocked as The Undertaker simply sat up after the patented big legdrop from Hogan. Three huge piledrivers followed and finally The Undertaker crossed Hogan’s arms on his chest, and got the easy pinfall as Hogan seemed to be out for the count.
After the match was over, Paul Bearer left ringside only to return moments later with a coffin on wheels, which he pushed back to the ring. The Undertaker rolled Hogan into the coffin and slammed the lid shut, seemingly signalling the death of Hulkamania!!!!!!!!
The Undertaker beat Hulk Hogan (14:03)

Part 2 of 2
WWF United States Title Match
The Ultimate Warrior v “Dr Death” Steve Williams
The match began in chaos as The Undertaker (still at ringside following his match with Hulk Hogan), attacked the Warrior, under the direction of his manager Paul Bearer. The attack clearly affected the champion and he was not himself during the entirety of this big title defence against the dangerous Williams. The match was a brutal contest with neither man giving an inch, until gradually the Warrior ran out of steam against the tough veteran. A series of punishing moves led up to the finish, the 1-2-3 and the crowning of a new WWF United States Champion.
“Dr Death” Steve Williams beat The Ultimate Warrior (16:14)
Big Boss Man v The Mountie
This match, billed as the battle of the lawmen in the WWF went back and forth for more than 15 minutes with neither man able to gain a real advantage. The Boss Man tried to make his weight advantage turn the match in his favour with a number of power moves but The Mountie showed some impressive wrestling skills to keep himself in the match. The match was decided when Jimmy Hart distracted the referee long enough to allow The Mountie to attack the Boss Man with his shock stick to gain an easy pinfall win.
The Mountie beat Big Boss Man (15:11)
WWF World Tag Team Titles Match
The Road Warriors v Demolition
Finally, these two legendary tag teams met in a WWF ring and it was for the titles and it was at Wrestlemania!!!! Ax and Smash dominated large parts of the match, thanks to a lot of double teaming and their manager Mr Fuji distracting the referee and Animal as both men focussed on Hawk, who endured a lengthy beating during the match. There were very few wrestling moves as both teams excel at brawling and beating down their opponents. At the end of the match, Demolition thought they had won the titles when they gained the 1-2-3, however the referee had spotted the use of Fuji’s cane to gain the pin and he disqualified Ax and Smash. This is surely not the end of this story, however…
The Road Warriors beat Demolition (15:46)
Dream Team v Power ‘n’ Glory
The newly reformed Dream Team were more than ready for their opponents here as Valentine and Beefcake dominated this match from start to finish, with very little offence on display from a strangely subdued Hercules and Paul Roma. As the crowd went crazy, Valentine hit his patented figure four leglock on Roma, who was forced to submit, giving the Dream Team a huge victory and plenty of momentum.
Dream Team beat Power ‘n’ Glory (13:40)
WWF World Heavyweight Title Match
“Ravishing” Rick Rude v “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase
The main event topped up a stunning Wrestlemania!!! In the early stages Rude superior strength gave him the advantage but the match gradually turned into a wrestling classic with both men having their periods of dominance but neither able to get the all important 1-2-3 for the win. The constant interference of DiBiase’s valet, Virgil saw him sent to the back after around 10 minutes, but this did not deter the Million Dollar Man as he was clearly determined to win his first title in the WWF. With both men on the verge of exhaustion, Rude managed to get into position for his patented “Rude Awakening” finishing move, but it was countered by the clever DiBiase, who rolled Rude up into a small package to get the pinfall victory and become the WWF World Heavyweight Champion!!!!!
“Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase beat “Ravishing” Rick Rude (23:31)
Notes:
From the start to the finish, Wrestlemania VII was packed with fantastic matches, all very even in nature. No one got an easy victory on this night. Although both the WWF World Heavyweight Title, WWF United States Title and WWF Television Title changed hands tonight, perhaps the biggest story of the night was the witnessing of the perhaps the death of Hulkamania!!! Having been dominated like never before by The Undertaker, the Hulkster was placed in a casket and wheeled away from ringside, as the capacity crowd looked on in stunned silence.
Not content with dealing with Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker has already turned his attention to his next “victim” as he viciously attacked The Ultimate Warrior before his big title defence against “Dr Death” Steve Williams, contributing heavily to the Warrior’s title loss.
“Ravishing” Rick Rude’s second tenure as WWF World Heavyweight Champion lasted just two months as he relinquished the title tonight in a classic encounter with “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase. Aside from the interference of Virgil, DiBiase fought a surprisingly clean match, and he fully deserved his victory.
The other title change was a bit of a surprise as Arn Anderson emerged from more than two years of tag wrestling to become a singles champion at the first time of asking against the incumbent British Bulldog, again in a high class technical wrestling match, much to the delight of his manager Bobby “Brain” Heenan.
The InterContinental Title is in disarray after tonights event. Not only was there no decisive winner in the triangle match for the title but the current champion, “Macho King” Randy Savage sustained an injury that will keep him out of action until May at the earliest. WWF President will have some thinking to do on this one as in theory, all WWF champions are obliged to defend their titles every 30 days or forfeit their title.
Finally on the title front was the WWF Tag Team title match between The Road Warriors and Demolition. A brutal encounter, with no quarter asked and no quarter given, the outcome of tonight’s match did little to end the rivalry between these two great teams and there will be further battles further down the road for these four men.
Although it hasn’t been confirmed, by the way their match ended tonight and the rumours that have been circling lately, it appears as though The Hart Foundation have wrestled their last match as a tag team! There was no animosity between the two men however, as their in-ring parting was totally on good terms and it seems both wish each other the best of luck in their future endeavours in the ring in the WWF.
The battles between the Big Boss Man and The Mountie, and in particular between Sgt Slaughter and Nikita Koloff were clearly not settled tonight and they will surely meet again in a WWF ring, to settle their scores with each other.
There were also good wins for Dusty Rhodes, Dream Team, Texas Tornado and the Earthquake tonight as well as The Barbarian and Haku, who overcame The Rockers.
The fallout from Wrestlemania will last a long time as there were some huge stories coming out of the biggest pay per view event of the year, and it will be interesting to see how things develop in the remainder of the year……

...........Breaking News..........
Following Wrestlemania VII, there was some further news announced by the office of WWF President Vince McMahon.
As well as the apparent departure from the WWF at this time of Hulk Hogan, some other WWF stars have also left the federation.
"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka and The Bolsheviks have also departed - the WWF wishes them all the best in their future endeavours.
Rumours also abound that there a number of other wrestlers whose futures in the WWF may be in doubt after they have been experiencing mixed fortunes in recent months. Dino Bravo, Bad News Brown, Tito Santana and even The Rockers are said to be among those under pressure following Wrestlemania.
One piece of news that has been made official is the split of The Hart Foundation. Bret "Hitman" Hart has been keen for a while to try his hand in the singles ranks and Jim "Anvil" Niedhart has given his blessing to allow this to happen. The two men part on very good terms and with the highest respect for one another. According to WWF sources, Niedhart is going to take a brief sabbatical and will return with a new partner.
WWF President Vince McMahon has confirmed that he is currently neogotiating with various parties, interested in joing the ranks of the WWF.
Finally, due to injury "Macho King" Randy Savage has been stripped of the WWF InterContinental Title!!!!! McMahon has announced that the top two contenders (Mr Perfect and Rick Martel) will fight for the vacant title at Wrestlefest 1991. Although technically a correct decision, allowing for 30 day title defence rule in place in the WWF, this is still highly controversial as that rule has not always been applied in the WWF in the past.

Notes:
The main event tonight saw a solid victory for Mr Fuji’s men as they prepared to face off at Wrestlefest in their respective title matches. No doubt they will be hoping to use tonight’s win as momentum to be successful at the next pay per view.
The British Bulldog’s attempt to regain the WWF Television Title was thwarted by the actions of Bobby Heenan, which caused the champion to be disqualified, thus retaining the title. The Bulldog will be looking for another opportunity but WWF President Vince McMahon has decided the Texas Tornado will get an opportunity to defeat Arn Anderson at Wrestlefest.
The first 3 King of the Ring qualifying matches took place tonight and saw Big Boss Man, Bad News Brown and Bret “Hitman” Hart (in his first match since the Hart Foundation split) winning through to the 1st round proper at the pay per view in May.
There was also revenge for the team of Hercules and Paul Roma as they defeated their Wrestlemania opponents of Valentine and Beefcake to renew their feud.
Finally, tonight saw the debut of a new tag team to the WWF. The Beverly Brothers (Beau and Blake) looked very impressive as they defeated the veteran team of The Bushwhackers. Also, they are managed by The Genius who hasn’t been seen in the WWF for quite some time.

WWF World Title Match
“Ravishing” Rick Rude beat “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase by DQ (10:25)
Notes:
Another stunning night of action in the WWF!!
First of all, Rick Rude managed to defeated Ted DiBiase in the main event for the WWF title, but unfortunately for the “Ravishing One”, it was a hollow victory as interference from Virgil led to a disqualification meaning the “Million Dollar Man” held on to the title – just!
The Ultimate Warrior failed in his quest to regain the United States title, thanks to interference from The Undertaker and Jake “Snake” Roberts, yet again! A 3 on 1 attack followed as Williams joined in only for a limping Macho King Randy Savage to rush to his rescue!! This situation began earlier in the night as the currently sidelined Savage watched the InterContinental Title match from ringside. As Savage made his way to the backstage area after the match, Jake Roberts was making his way to the ring for his match. With a sly grin on his face, Roberts decided to take advantage of the situation and attacked the weakened Savage, leaving him in agony and barely able to hobble away, with help (although Sherri was nowhere to be seen and offered no help). Although Savage tried his best to help the Warrior now, he was not able to offer much offence and both men were left lying as their attackers made their way to the back. Eventually, Sherri appeared on the scene. Rather than help Savage though, she also attacked him, kicking him several times while abusing him for being useless. Suddenly Miss Elizabeth appeared, after a lengthy absence from the WWF, and chased Sherri off as the crowd went crazy!! Randy Savage was as surprised as everyone to see her, but after a long pause they embraced to the cheers of the whole arena. Eventually, The Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth slowly made their way away from the ringside area, half walking, half limping, with the crowd’s approval ringing in their ears!!
The match for a the InterContinental Title was a mat classic between two excellent technical wrestlers, Rick Martel and Mr Perfect. Eventually it was Mr Perfect who managed to gain the victory and win the vacant title to once again become the WWF InterContinental Champion.
Demolition are the WWF World Tag Team Champions once again!! Using some devious tactics (as well as Mr Fuji’s cane) they managed to overcome Hawk and Animal to win the titles again! The Road Warriors were absolutely furious and promised revenge on Ax, Smash and their devious manager.
Arn Anderson managed to hold off the determined challenge from the Texas Tornado and is still the WWF Television Champion.
There were solid wins for the Big Boss Man and Sgt Slaughter in their ongoing feuds with The Mountie and Nikita Koloff respectively, but victory for The Rockers came at a price as they were subjected to a vicious attack by The Nasty Boys, Knobbs and Sags.

The final 5 places in the King of the Ring tournament proper were filled tonight as there were solid victories for Sgt Slaughter, The Mountie, Earthquake, Texas Tornado and Nikita Koloff.
The main event featured the 6 men who will take part in World, United States and InterContinental title matches at the King of the Ring pay per view, although nothing was actually settled here as the match went to a time limit draw giving neither team any momentum before the big event itself.
The Nasty Boys looked impressive as they defeated Michaels and Janetty and The Undertaker was dominant as he won the Battle Royal to start the evening.

Breaking News and Rumours......
Randy Savage has announced that now he is back with Miss Elizabeth and changed his ways, he wants to go back to being referred to as "Macho Man" not "Macho King"!
After the arrival of the Beverly Brothers, rumours are wild in the WWF of potential new arrivals - as well as departures with a number of names under threat.
One former tag team are apparently thinking of joining forces again as their singles careers have stalled.
Also, one current WWF superstar is thinking of bringing in a friend to tag with him......

King of the Ring - Final
Bret "Hitman" Hart beat Earthquake (14:50)
WWF World Title Match
“Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase beat “Ravishing” Rick Rude (11:21)
Notes:
Bret “Hitman” Hart, just a couple of months after entering the singles ranks, is the new King of the Ring!!! A gruelling night of action saw Hart defeat Bad News Brown, The Mountie and then Earthquake in the final to win the crown. His achievement was all the more impressive as Earthquake had received a bye in the semi finals, thanks to the time limit draw eliminating both Sgt Slaughter and Nikita Koloff in the 1st round.
Once again, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase managed to fend off “Ravishing” Rick Rude, but it was a close run thing for the WWF Champion. That didn’t stop him from gloating after the match though! “Dr Death” Steve Williams maintained his vice like grip on the United States title too, as he saw off the determined challenge of “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. Mr Perfect was also successful as he defeated Rick Martel to retain the WWF InterContinental Title. Another champion to hold on to his title was Television Champion Arn Anderson, although he was taken to a time limit draw by former champion, British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith.
One title that did change hands though, was the Tag Team Titles, as The Road Warriors ended Demolition’s short reign as champions, to once again become the WWF Tag Team Champions!
Finally, The Undertaker managed to overcome The Ultimate Warrior in a bruising encounter, that suggests all is not finished between these two men.

Hi,
I'm really sorry for the lack of updates lately, life has taken over again,
I am trying to decide if I can pick up the thread of this circuit (worried I may have lost direction a bit!), or start again, perhaps from a little earlier (1987/88)
Stay tuned.........

I will be starting a new circuit (starting early 1988) very shortly.
I feel like I lost control of this circuit a bit, with too many changes in the roster too quickly and too many events/belts etc.
Will be back as soon as I sort out my roster and my plans for the events etc.....
