So I'm back after a long absence. I was in the hospital in October for about a week. After getting out and getting my new found Type 2 diabetes in control, I decided I would give this another shot. This time I am doing the Mark Wrestling Federation. MWF is a part of a blog I am doing on Blogger, and features stars from the entire range of years. I am using DOS box to set up the events, and straight to TNM to run and save. And I am going to try something new here, so follow my style here. The post will be called MWF This Week. Introduction is next.

Welcome To The Mark Wrestling Federation The Mark Wrestling Federation (MWF) is a non-roleplay fantasy wrestling federation using the wrestling simulator TNM 7 SE, which can be purchased at TNM7.COM. All results are generated by the wrestling simulator and are final. All cards will be run on Monday nights except for special events, with results being posted here by midnight Mondays. Friday post will be the post for MWF This Week, a weekly recap of the events and announcements for upcoming cards. Strap in and enjoy the fine action in the MWF. Rules and Guidelines for the MWF
The rules and guidelines for the MWF is basic and easy to remember. As Bill Watts said in WCW, there has to be some rules, so here are mine for this fantasy federation. MWF Rules and Guidelines 1)This is a non-booked federation-Not once will I predetermine a match in this federation. I will take what the simulator gives me and work from there. 2)TNM 7 is running in "regular mode"-This means that I will be dealing with contracts. If a wrestler gives his notice, I will accept it. 3)There will be a ranking system in this federation-The rankings will be updated at the start of the month. The champion is obligated to defend against the #1 ranked opponent at the Pay Per Views. Matches involving the Champion and the #1 ranked contender can be title, non-title or tag team matches. The first rankings will come from the MWF Championship Tournament. The same holds true for the tag team division. All Results Are Final-Unless there is a "dispute" over the results from opponents, the results are final. Disputes will be taken up by the MWF "Board of Directors". There are the main guidelines I am using. More may be added along the way. Check back later tonight when I will post the results of the first round of the MWF Championship Tournament.

(I'm doing catch up post. After these next few post, I will post here Saturday nights.) MWF This Week for Friday, November 23, 2012 MWF World Title Tournament-Round 1 Last night at the MWF Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, the first round of the 32 man MWF World Championship Tournament took place in front of a jam packed crowd of over 2500 fans. The first round had number of surprises. Let's take a look at the results of round 1: MWF World Championship Tournament 11/22/2012 [Round 1]: Assassin #2 defeated Rick Steamboat when Rick Steamboat passed out in the ASSASSIN HAMMERLOCK in 0:15:47. Rating: ** 1/2 [Round 1]: Bobby Eaton pinned Jack Brisco with the Alabama Jam in 0:07:15. Rating: ** [Paul E. Dangerously interfered against Jack Brisco.] [Round 1]: Billy Graham defeated Assassin #1 when Assassin #1 passed out in the BEARHUG in 0:14:05. Rating: ** 1/2 [Round 1]: Hawk pinned Ricky Morton with the Flying Clothesline in 0:17:52. Rating: ** 3/4 [Round 1]: Robert Gibson made Rick Steamboat submit to the Sleepr hold in 0:05:29. Rating: *** 1/4 (Tully Blanchard no-showed.) [Round 1]: Abdullah The Butcher pinned Austin Idol after a piledriver in 0:00:30. Rating: *** 3/4 [Round 1]: Dick Murdoch pinned Barry Windham with the Gourdbuster in 0:13:43. Rating: ** 3/4 [Round 1]: Arn Anderson pinned Stan Lane after a spinebuster slam in 0:01:03. Rating: 3/4* Some of the odds on favorites were knocked out of the tournament early. Gone from the tournament are Rick Steamboat, Ric Flair, Jack Brisco, and Bruno Sammartino. Interestingly enough, Tully Blanchard didn't make his flight connections, so Steamboat got a second chance, but fell to one half of the Rock and Roll Express, Robert Gibson. At this point in the tournament, Andre the Giant seems to be the unbeatable man, and may well go on to become the first ever MWF World Champion. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes made quick work of Magnum T.A., as did Abdullah the Butcher. The only member of the Four Horsemen to survive the first round was "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Here are some of his comments after the night had ended: "Tonight I proved to Stan Lane that I am who I say that I am. I will bring gold to the Horsemen stable in the form of the MWF World Title belt, and show why Double A deserves to be champion." Also making it to the second round are Ivan and Nikita Koloff. The Russians are looking forward to bringing the title back to Moscow, Russia and prove Russian dominance over the American wrestler. Tomorrow night, in a special edition of MWF This Week, we will bring to you the final rounds of the tournament, and give you a look into the MWF Tag Team Tournament, which will take place Monday night in Atlanta, Georgia. Next week, MWF This Week will be giving you the reviews of the MWF Tag Team Tournament, the rankings for the month of December, and the special Christmas Eve event which will take place at the MWF Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.

Rating: *** [Semi-Finals]: Arn Anderson pinned Dusty Rhodes after a spinebuster slam in 0:02:33. Rating: *** [Finals]: Match for the vacant MWF World Heavyweight Championship: Arn Anderson pinned Robert Gibson after hitting him with the telephone in 0:10:45. Rating: * 3/4 (Arn Anderson won the MWF World Heavyweight Championship.) [Paul E. Dangerously interfered against Robert Gibson.] After two nights of grueling competition, Arn Anderson came out on top and is the new MWF World Champion. However, it was not without some controversy. His manager, Paul E. Dangerously threw his telephone to Anderson, who used it on his opponent, Robert Gibson. Gibson had some choice words for Anderson after the match. "Arn Anderson, you are the new MWF World Champion, but the way you did it was despicable even for you. I always thought you were a stand up kind of man, but taking a telephone from Paul E. Dangerously and hitting me up side the head is no way to win the title. The next time we meet, I will defeat you and win the MWF Title." Arn Anderson had words for Robert Gibson and the rest of the MWF roster: "Robert Gibson, I hear you flapping your mouth about the way I won the title tonight. However, the ends justifies the means, and I am holding the gold belt right now. Anytime you want a title shot, sign the dotted line, and I will not be hard to find. As far as the other guys in the back, if you feel man enough to cross paths with me, then be ready to be taken out by the "Enforcer", your MWF World Champion." The MWF Board of Directors are looking at the film of the match, and will make a ruling sometime next week. MWF This Week will report the ruling next Friday. Now the MWF turns to Monday night when the MWF will be in Atlanta, Georgia. On that night, we will have a one night tournament to crown the very first MWF Tag Team Champions. Sixteen teams will vie for tag team gold. Some of the teams are The Road Warriors, The Rock and Roll Express, The Texas Outlaws, Ivan and Nikita Koloff, The Assassins, and the Midnight Express. A couple of teams of interest are "Scrap Iron" Adam Pierce and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, both former world champions in other areas looking to ad tag team gold. Also, another pair of world champions in their own right, Jack Brisco and Bruno Sammartino will be teaming up. A dark horse of a team is the team of "Superstar" Billy Graham and "The International Heart Throb" Austin Idol. And don't discount the Four Horsemen, who have two teams in the running, Ric Flair and Barry Windham, and MWF World Champion Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. By all accounts, this is going to be a great tournament and whom ever wins the tournament will have truly earned the belts. MWF Rankings For December Here are the rankings for the month of December. The rankings are from the tournament wins: MWF World Champion-Arn Anderson 1. Robert Gibson 2. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes 3. The Mongolian Stomper 4. Road Warrior Animal 5. Gibson was Anderson's opponent in the final match of the World Title Tournament, held the 22nd and 23rd of November. Gibson had an issue with the way that Anderson won the title and voiced his protest to the MWF Board of Directors that night. According to the rankings, Gibson is the #1 ranked contender for the belt and will face Anderson on Christmas Eve. Manager's Musical Chairs In a twist, MWF World Champion Arn Anderson and Paul E. Dangerously have had a mutual split. Anderson, a member of the Four Horsemen, is now being managed by Harley Race, as are all of the Horsemen. [Main Event 1 Non-Title Match]: Rock'n'Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) defeated The Midnight Express (Stan Lane and Bobby Eaton) when R. Morton defeated B. Rating: * 1/4 Card rating: ** A New Faction in MWFAssassin 2 and the Masked Superstar have formed an alliance and are calling themselves The Masked Mafia. No word yet on if Assassin 1 is on board, but sources close to The Assassins say that Assassin 1 may not be too comfortable with the situation. This coming Monday night, Assassin 2 and The Masked Superstar will be in a tag team match against the #1 contenders, The Road Warriors. Harley Race and the Four HorsemenAnother who seemed uncomfortable with a manager's situation was Ric Flair. Flair and Harley Race, now the manager of the Four Horsemen, had a famous feud in the early 80s, which resulted in Flair being on the shelf for a couple of months, and ending in Starcade 83, where Flair defeated Race to become the new NWA World Champion. However, in a closed door meeting, Ric Flair came out in support of Race being the new manager "I have had a very good talk with Harley and the rest of the Horsemen, and I am in full support of Race being, not only the manager of the Horsemen, but also my own personal manager. I have much respect for the man, and I am sure that he will have the best interest of the Horsemen at heart." Race will manage the other Horsemen as individuals as well. Time will tell if this is a marriage made in heaven. Sting and Kerry Von Eric Win Debut Matches Newcomers Sting and Kerry Von Eric were successful in their debut matches this past Monday night. Kerry, who was scheduled to face Austin Idol, who couldn't make travel connections, faced his tag team partner Billy Graham. Graham, pulling double duty, lost to Von Eric to the Tornado Punch. Sting, won a DQ victory against the MWF World Champion Arn Anderson. Sting had comments after the match: "Ah, Double A, I see that you're at your old ways of getting out of things by getting yourself disqualified! When you took Tim White and threw him out of the ring, you knew that I had your number. Now, I want that belt you hold so dear, and I want you in a No DQ match!" Arn Anderson had this to say to Sting: "Sting, if you think that a DQ victory will gain you a title match for this belt, you came to the wrong federation my friend. The only way you get a shot at this belt is to be the #1 contender, which Robert Gibson has the unfortunate luck to be. You see, this federation is not one that you can just ride your name in here and get what you want! Doesn't work like that. So get in the back of the line like everyone else and wait your turn." The Dead Wrestling Society, Krimson and Kirst, were not so lucky, as they lost to "Scrap Iron" Adam Pierce and AJ Styles. Pierce and Styles have earned a non-title shot against The Midnight Express this Monday night at the MWF Arena. The new #1 contenders to the MWF Tag Team Titles are the Road Warriors, Animal and Hawk. They survived three other teams to win the tournament. The #1 contenders spot was vacated when Assassin 1 was injured and Andre the Giant and Mongolian Stomper split as a team. The Warriors had this to say: Animal-"You know Midnight Express, you guys earned you tag team titles in the tournament! Well we earned our spot in a tournament as well. When we meet on Christmas Eve, we will be the ones opening the presents, while you will be taking coal and sticks out of your stockings! Tell 'em Hawk!" Hawk-"Well! There are major differences between you guys and us. We are mean, vicious, have a lot of power, while you guys have none of that. Another thing you have against you is that little Paul E Dangerously, running around with his telephone. Well let him reach out and touch us with that phone, and we'll show him where we will hang it up!" In a tune-up match, The Road Warriors will take on Superstar and Assassin 2 next Monday night. Next Edition of MWF This WeekNext week, we will look into the matchups which have already been signed for Christmas Chaos, which will take place Christmas Eve Monday, December 24th, in Atlanta, Georgia. Plus new matches will be announced for Christmas Chaos. This Monday night at the MWF Arena, the Main Event will be the Rock and Roll Express against Tully Blanchard and the MWF World Champion Arn Anderson, managed by Harley Race.

During the match, Gary Hart and Mongolian Stomper came down to ringside. Hart distracted the referee as Stomper climbed on the ring apron and shouted something at Andre. Then, Abdullah the Butcher and Baron Von Rashke attacked Andre while Hart still had the referee turned. Mr. Wrestling and Mr. Wrestling II helped Andre beat back New Age Management, but then Andre turned his wrath on Mr. Wrestling and choked him, earning a DQ loss. After the match, an angry Andre had this to say: "Gary Hart! I do not know what you told Stomper! But I know that New Age Management will pay for jumping me in the ring! I want Stomper on Christmas Chaos! I will choke him out! Gary Hart responded to Andre's challenge: "Andre, you know why Mongolian Stomper is mad at you! You and Stomper were the team to beat the Midnight Express and win the MWF Tag Team belts! Instead, when you couldn't get the job done, what did you do? You threw Stomper under the bus and went out on your own! Now you say that you want Stomper at Christmas Chaos? This Monday night, at the MWF Arena, if you can get by Abdullah the Butcher and Baron Von Rashke, then I will gladly sign the contract! But only if you can survive Monday night!" Now, the Masked Mafia has petitioned, and have been granted a #1 contender's match against The Road Warriors, with the winner to go on and face the Midnight Express for the MFW Tag Team Championship. MWF This Week caught up with Animal and Hawk Wednesday night in Dallas, Texas: Animal-"Masked Mafia, you got lucky, very lucky this past Monday night. Now you think that you are good enough to take our shot at the tag belts? Think again boys! When it comes down to money, marbles and chalk, The Warriors fight extra hard! Tell 'em Hawk!" Hawk-"You know masked men, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while! And you two blind squirrels found a win against us! You guys need to quit while your ahead! A win against us is a rare thing, extremely rare when belts and #1 is on the line! Good thing you guys wear masks already, you'll need them to cover the bruises and scars we'll leave on your ugly faces!" The Masked Mafia did not comment, but they claim that they are ready for The Warriors. Rock and Roll Express To Face Anderson and Blanchard Again! The Rock and Roll Express, Ricky Morton and #1 contender to the MWF Championship, Robert Gibson, will face the MWF World Champion Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard in a re-match from this past Monday night. The two teams fought to a time limit draw, and this week, there will be no time limit. Many fans noticed something was off as far as Ricky Morton was concerned. Anderson did comment on the situation: "Robert Gibson, you and Ricky Morton just got by on a draw Monday night, but you have bigger problems my friend. I noticed that Ricky wasn't exactly on the same page with you, where as Tully and myself were a well oiled machine. Could it be that Morton may be jealous of your success? Remember this, keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer!" Things are beginning to heat up between these four. However, this picture did come to us. It has Ricky Morton, and Bobby Eaton of the Midnight Express, along with two unidentified men. Morton may have to answer some questions about this as far as Gibson is concerned. This Monday Night at the MWF ArenaThe main event will be the re-match between the Rock and Roll Express and The Horsmen, Blanchard and Anderson, with no time limit. Also, Andre the Giant will take on both Abdullah the Butcher and Baron Von Rashke, managed by Gary Hart. If Andre defeats Abdullah and The Baron, he gets The Mongolian Stomper at Christmas Chaos. The pictures are a nice touch.
An Andre-Stomper feud should be a lot of fun. I'm always a fan of two behemoths destroying one another.
I like the idea of Harley Race managing the Four Horsemen. His long feud with Flair has been addressed which was good. Otherwise it would have felt a bit false, but you handled it well.

MWF This Week for December 21, 2012 This past Monday night the fans saw a fantastic night of wrestling action. Before the matches began, all of the wrestlers and staff gathered on the stage to pay tribute to the victims of the Newtown Conn. tragedy. The owner of the MWF came into the ring and asked all in attendance to stand for a moment of silence as the bell rang twenty-nine times for each victim. The camera panned to the fans and saw a few at ringside with a banner which read "Stop Gun Violence Now!". After the bell tolled, a bagpipe player played Amazing Grace as some of the wrestlers openly wept. Rating: ** Card rating: * 3/4 Nikita Koloff Quits MWF. Nikita Koloff decided to call it quits here in the MWF this past Monday night. In fact, he may have wrestled his last match ever in pro wrestling. MWF This Wek caught up with Nikita (real name Nelson Scott Simpson) to find out why he would hang up the boots. Nikita told us that he had decided that he wanted to go into the ministry and preach the Gospel. Nikita had this to say to the fans of the MWF: "After the events in Newtown, Conn. I decided that it was time to stop wrestling and go into the ministry on a full time basis. I feel that we need God more now than at any time in the history of this country. Never before have we seen this much gun violence, and violence in general. I may be only one voice, but I feel that God will lead me in the direction and give me the words that may make a difference." Nikita's long time tag team partner, Ivan Koloff, also a Born-Again Christian, is lending his full support to Nikita. Sting is also an avid supporter of Nikita, and will help him in any way possible. We here wish Nikita Koloff the best in his future and wish him the best as he spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Andre the Giant Loses to New Age Management! Board of Directors Rule to Grant Andre His Match at Christmas Chaos! Also this past Monday night, Andre the Giant took on two of Gary Hart's members of New Age Management, namely Abdullah the Butcher and Baron Von Rashke. As the match started, Mongolian Stomper came down to ringside to lend his support to his fellow New Age Management members. As the action progressed, Mr. Wrestling II decided to come down to ringside and even out the odds. The fans were stunned at one point when Stomper threw a ladder to the Baron, however, Andre intercepted it and used it himself. The Baron went back on the attack, but when he ran into the ropes, Mr. Wrestling II grabbed the top rope causing Baron to fall to the floor. Later, Stomper helped the Baron back into the ring after he was thrown unto the floor. Mr. Wrestling II had had enough and jumped the Baron in the ring, causing a DQ win for New Age Management. That Tuesday night, the MWF Board of Directors reviewed the footage of the match, and ruled that Andre will get his match at Christmas Chaos. They went even further to say that because of all of the interference, the match will ba a cage match, and that the only way to win is to either go through the door, or climb over the top of the cage. Upon hearing this, Andre, who was in Chicago for a special wrestling event, had this to say: "Gary Hart, you thought you could keep me from getting my hands on Stomper, but you failed! Now I have him in a steel cage! No where to run! No where to hide! Stomper, you are mine at Christmas Chaos!" As expected, Gary Hart was not too pleased with the events: " How could the MWF Board of Directors give Andre this match at Christmas Chaos?! Clearly he lost the match, even though it was on a disqualification! Now the Board decided to put Stomper in a steel cage against Andre! Well I have news for you my giant friend, it is you who will be squealing like a pig in that ring when Stomper gets through with you at Christmas Chaos!" Remember the old saying, "Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it."!" [ b]Road Warriors Defeat Masked Mafia! Set Their Sites on Tag Team Gold! [/b][/size] The Road Warriors also came out on top in their match against The Masked Superstar and Assassin 2 this past Monday nght. Now, Animal and Hawk look to Christmas Chaos and a chance to win tag team gold from The Midnight Express. The Warrirors, who were in Atlanta, GA on Wednesday, talked to a MWF reporter and had this to say: Animal-"Well now that we put the two masked freaks out of the running, we have a clear shot to you, Midnight Express! Those belts are coming to us when we get you in the ring at Christmas Chaos! And you better make sure that you have your little manager on a short leash! Tell 'em Hawk!" Hawk-"Well boys! You know when a great football team like Alabama or Notre Dame, takes on a not so great team and pounds the ball right down their throats? Well that's the way we are going to do you two guys at Christmas Chaos! And, just like those great teams I mentioned, you know what we are going to do, now the question is how are you going to stop us?! We snack on danger, and dine on death! And dead men don't make money!" The Midnight Express were not available for comment, but you know that this is shaping up to be a great match. Horsmen and Rock & Roll Express Battle to Double Countout! Once again, this past Monday night saw another chapter in the war between MWF World Champion Arn Anderson, and #1 challenger Robert Gibson, and again it was in a tag team setting. After battling for over ten minutes, Anderson and Gibson's partner, Ricky Morton, were on the floor and fought to a double countout. And once again, Anderson had something to say about Ricky Morton: "Robert Gibson, seems that Ricky Morton has his mind on other things again. You had better watch your back, because I smell trouble in rock and roll city. Now you have that to think about as well as this belt that I hold, and res assured my friend, I will still be holding this belt after our match!" Once again, Robert was not available for comment, but an un-named source sent another picture to us. It clearly shows Ricky Morton with his nemesis Bobby Eaton of the Midnight Express. This is the second week that this has happened and the fans of the Rock and Roll Express are wondering if they are seeing the breakup of a great tag team. Just like us, the fans will have to sit back and watch this play out. Complete Card for Christmas Chaos Christmas Chaos will be held in Atlanta, GA on Monday night, December 24, bell time at 8pm. Always fun to read the circuits with the different generations coming together. Like how your tying in the modern day pictures of Morton and Eaton together to create a stir. Wonder whats going to happen down the line cause of it.

I'm reading, but I'll let you know honestly that it will take me awhile to really get into it. Like I've said before, I'm a big proponent of everyone doing a circuit in the way they have the most fun, so I'm not criticizing you for that. But it just so happens that unbooked and mixing generations are two of my least favorite things to do with a circuit. Not your fault, but we all have our preferences. Lol. That being said, your use of pictures adds a lot to the presentation. Also, you've done a great job off working with what TNM has given you, all things considered. When you have so much talent, it's weird to see Anderson vs. Gibson as your top program, it's a bit strange. I'll be reading, none the less. I welcome you to make this all grow on me.

Truth be told, I have been doing a little more booking on a couple of the storylines I have going. The tournaments were completely un-booked, as are the lower tier matches. Nikita's quitting the MWF was a complete surprise, but knowing that he is a Born-Again Christian, I thought it would be the best way for him to exit. I found his web site today: www.nikitakoloff.com/

MWF fans! Welcome to Christmas Chaos! Live from Atlanta, GA. The evening starts with the singing of the National Anthem as sung by Alicia Keys. Announcers Charlie Platt and Southern Legend Bob Armstrong wish everybody a Merry Christmas, and then hype up the upcoming main event between MWF World Champion Arn Anderson and #1 Contender Robert Gibson. Armstrong points out the talk about that maybe Gibson didn't deserve the title shot. However, he did point out that Anderson did use Paul E Dangerously's telephone to win the tournament, and that the MWF Board of Directors took the first rankings from the tournament results. Charlie Platt reminds Armstrong that Gibson's head may not be on the match, but on the leaked photos which had been coming into the offices as of late. But even with the distractions, both believe that Robert Gibson will be the new MWF Champion, but all eyes should be on Harley Race, Anderson's new manager. The bell rings and the first match is ready to get under way.

Charlie Platt puts over the team of Ivan Koloff and The Sheik, and states that this is a quality win over the established team of Steamboat and Youngblood. Bob Armstrong agrees and states that whoever the tag team champions are after tonight had better watch out for Koloff and The Sheik.
Charlie Platt throws it to special guest backstage announcer Pam Oliver from FOX NFL. Oliver is standing next to Gary Hart and The Mongolian Stomper. Oliver ask Hart about the special cage match coming up later in the night Stomper has against Andre the Giant. Hart says the MWF Board of Directors should be ashamed of themselves for making such a match since Andre didn't win the match against Abdullah the Butcher and Baron Von Rashke.
However, Hart points out to Pam Oliver that all the Board of Directors did was sign Andre's death warrent. Hart says that Stomper will be the first one to escape the cage, and the Andre will be laying in a pool of his own blood. All this while Stomper pumps on his trademark Flex Bar. Pam Oliver throws it back to Charlie Platt who sees that the next match is about to begin.

After the match, Charlie Platt puts over Tully Blanchard as a future #1 contender for the MWF World Title. Armstrong counters with the fact the Anderson and Blanchard are not only tag team partners, but also members of the Four Horsemen. This could eventually destroy the Horsemen if this plays out down the road. Platt throws it to Pam Oliver again as this time she is standing between the tag team of "The Superstar Heartthrobs" Billy Graham and Austin Idol.
Oliver ask them about the six man Elimination Chamber tonight, with the winner being awarded the MWF United States title. Graham first flexes his biceps for Pam Oliver and tells her that this may be making her melt like butter. He then tells Oliver that this is the first title that he has battled for here in the MWF, and that he intends to win the United States belt. He then turns to his partner and points in his face and tells him that even if it comes down to themselves as the last two in the ring.
Idol turns to Graham and says that that statement goes for him as well as he has every intention as coming out of the cage as the new champion. They both shake and walk off as Oliver gives it back to Platt and Armstrong.
Next match: Dusty Rhodes vs Barry Windham
