LAX are a good choice for Sting. Hernandez was super over at this time. I'm honestly shocked he's still in actual TNA.
Threeway was predictable, but will be a great match.
Spot fests are hard to translate in a TNM circuit. The triple threat 9-man tag was probably awesome, but it's just hard to capture that here.
Kong keeps eating bitches alive.
Booker big for Sting's team too. Little bit of a rough start to Beer Money's teaming.
Don't remember a lot of the Naturals. Good enough reason for coming back though. Hate to see MCMG lose though.
Steiner's fun. Lockdown should be good.

Good way to get Homicide and Hernandez involved in the Lethal Lockdown match.
I figured you might go the triangle match route. I think it is the best decision and should provide a pretty entertaining match. Can't see Joe dropping the strap here though.
Pretty big win for Skipper going into the X Division battle royal.
I'm hoping that Booker T can move past Storm and Roode now. Beer Money need to rack up some wins once their feud with T comes to an end.
Pretty sound reasoning by the Naturals as to why they attacked the Guns.
Great to see Steiner join Nash. That's a pretty formidable duo even if they are both getting up there in years.

IMPACT (March 27, 2008) [/b] Curry Man and Shark Boy defeated The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) when Curry Man pinned A. Douglas after a springboard back elbow in 0:09:10. Rating: ** 1/4The Motor City Machine Guns gained a small measure of revenge against The Naturals by costing them their match with Curry Man and Shark Boy. It wasn’t as much as they cost them the match, but more so prevented them from cheating to get a win. All four wrestlers got involved, and while trying to maintain order, the ref was busy trying to get Shark Boy out of the ring. Stevens tried to slip a chair to Douglas, but Shelley and Sabin ran down and pulled the chair out of the ring. Douglas was momentarily distracted, allowing Curry Man to catch him with an elbow which led to the pin. Backstage in Team Nash’s locker roomNash was sitting around with his Lethal Lockdown team members A.J. Styles, Tomko and Scott Steiner when there was a knock on the door and Robert Roode came in. Roode made a plea to Nash to let him join his team. If Booker T is going to be on Sting’s side, he wants in there to be against him. Nash said the team was already full, but there was supposed to be a 6-man match tonight, Styles, Tomko and Steiner against Sting’s team members LAX and Booker T. He asked AJ to step aside in the match and let Roode get in. If Roode does a good job, Nash said he’ll see about getting him in as a 5th team member. Roode accepted the offer and left. Elix Skipper pinned Jay Lethal with the Sudden Death in 0:14:18. Rating: ** 1/2Elix Skipper stormed to the ring and called out the man who he claimed responsible for him having to go through this X Division battle royal to get his belt back – Jay Lethal. He said after Destination X, Lethal was running around trying to stake claim to a title never should’ve been his, causing Jim Cornette to do this. He wanted Jay Lethal in the ring right now. Not one to back down from a challenge, Lethal came down for an impromptu match. Two of the top in the X Division put on quite a show, but in the end, Lethal played to the crowd a bit too much. Skipper caught him doing one of his Macho Man spinning pointing things and hit Sudden Death for the win. In-ring promo with Traci BrooksBrooks came to the ring said she received word from TNA management, that she will get her shot at Awesome Kong and the Knockouts title at Lockdown. She said Kong may have had her way with the division so far, but she had yet to step in the ring with her. And no one was more capable to take that title from Kong then she was. Kong came to the ring in an attempt to attack Brooks, but Brooks saw her coming and dodged the attack. She then hit a couple shots and finally a dropkick that knocked Kong out of the ring. Raisha Saeed held Kong back from getting back in the ring. James Storm and Kaz battled to a double countout in 0:08:30. Rating: ** 1/2If anyone thought this match would settle things between Kaz and James Storm, they were mistaken. Kaz is still looking for revenge for the beer bottle shot he took a while back that knocked him out of action for a month. Kaz took the fight to storm and ended up chasing Storm out of ringside. Kaz gave chase causing the double countout. Storm ran all the way to the back and out the door with Kaz still in pursuit. Storm finally got in his rental car and drove off. ODB pinned Angelina Love with the Flying Thesz Press in 0:09:22. Rating: ** 1/4With Gail Kim at ringside to keep Velvet Sky from getting involved, there was no help for Angelina Love against ODB. ODB got the victory and was able to slide out of the ring, leaving with Kim before the Beautiful People could attack her after. In-ring promo with Samoa JoeJoe came to the ring, title belt draped over his shoulder, to speak on his upcoming title defense against Christian Cage and Kurt Angle at Lockdown. He had some especially harsh words for Angle who he says he’s beaten time and time again over the past few months. He also said he’s looking forward to the opportunity to kick Christian Cage’s ass. For no other reason, than he can. He brought up his time as X division champion and said his world title reign will be just as painful for everybody else. Christian came out after this and some words of his own for the champ. He poked fun at Joe’s weight asking if ate one too many luau pigs, and asking if he was going to be in shape for what promises to be the most physically demanding match of his career, locked in a cage with Christian Cage and Angle. Kurt Angle then made his presence known, but it was up on the video screen. Angle said he’s not stupid enough to get in the ring with those two and risk one of them taking a cheap shot. Angle said he hopes Joe has enjoyed his little run as champion because it’s all going to end at Lockdown. He called Christian someone who was only good enough to carry his bags in other organizations and has never shown he’s on Angle’s level. Joe and Christian each had some words for Angle, calling him a chicken for not joining them face to face. They then once more turned their attention to each other, trashed talked each other one final time and ended the segment with a staredown. They each then left the ring without incident. Latin American X-Change (Homicide and Hernandez) and Booker T defeated Scott Steiner, Tomko and Robert Roode when Hernandez pinned S. Steiner with The Border Toss in 0:13:43. Rating: *** 1/4 (AJ Styles no-showed.) Robert Roode proved his worth to Nash. He performed well in the match, even though his team lost, as Hernandez showed just how powerful he was, hitting the Border Toss on Scott Steiner. But Roode led a post-match attack, as Booker and LAX stood in the ring, hands raised in victory, Roode came in with a chair and hit Booker from behind starting off a beating of the faces by Nash’s team members. Nash and A.J. joined the others in the ring for the beatdown. Sting tried to help out his teammates, but with Roode giving Nash's squad one up in the numbers game, he was of little help. After it was done, Nash stood among the carnage in the ring shaking Roode’s hand.

No surprise that the MCMG turned the tables back on the Naturals.
Clever way to write around the no-show of Styles, and it also might lead us to a bigger Lethal Lockdown which I'm all for.
Skipper is positioning himself to be the X champ again with a nice win.
Kong is going to murder Brooks
Good promo to set up the triple threat. Joe should have a nice long reign.
Now Sting needs to find a 5th partner? Man, he just can't get ahead.

Surprised Curry Man and Shark Boy went over the Naturals. Understandable since it was due to outside interference, just surprised they look the loss.
Looks like the feud with Booker T/Roode will continue.
That's a big win for Skipper. Beating the guy that won the Ultimate X should make him the immediate favorite in the battle royal if he wasn't the favorite already.
No problems with a double countout to extend the feud between Kaz and Storm.
Good to see the promo between the three men did not end in a brawl. Sometimes it is better to save that for the actual match.
Wow. Loved the way you did the no-show. Didn't even realize Styles no-showed when you set it up earlier in the show. Good job with that. It also leads to Roode joining Nash's team. Or at least it seems that way.
Good show.

IMPACT (April 3, 2008) Matt Morgan came to the ring and said Jim Cornette was away on business, so he was running the show tonight. As his first order of business, he was announcing it was going to be “Pick Your Poison” night for all three men competing for the world title at Lockdown. Samoa Joe will get to pick any opponent to face Kurt Angle. Angle would get to pick an opponent for Christian Cage, while Cage gets to pick an opponent for Samoa Joe. Then Kevin Nash’s music played and Nash came to the ring to confront Morgan. He demanded Morgan allow him to put a fifth member on his Lethal Lockdown team to get Robert Roode in the match. Morgan stood up to Nash and first asked Nash how’s it feel talking to someone eye to eye, that has more power than he does? But he did say it was an interesting proposition to add a fifth guy to Lethal Lockdown. He will consider it, and let him know at the end of the night. Four Corners Match: Johnny Devine defeated Petey Williams, Sonjay Dutt and Curry Man when J. Devine pinned S. Dutt with the Devine Intervention in 0:13:46. Rating: *** 1/2Johnny Devine picked up a little bit of momentum heading into the X Division Battle Royal at Lockdown by winning a four-way match against three others that will enter the cage with them. After a lot of high flying moves by all men, including a returning to TNA Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams hit Dutt with a Canadian Destroyer and looked like he was going to get the win. But Devine came from behind, tossed Williams out of the ring so he could hit Devine Intervention on Dutt and get the win himself. Kurt Angle made Abyss submit to the Ankle Lock in 0:14:38. Rating: *** 1/4Kurt Angle came to the ring ready to face whomever Samoa Joe picked for him. Joe came out and introduced Angle’s opponent, the Monster, Abyss. Angle was running scared in the early portion of the match. Abyss was able to hit a good deal of power moves. However the match turned when Angle was outside leaning against the guardrail. Abyss stood on the outside apron and leapt at Angle trying to hit an elbow, but Angle moved and Abyss crashed into the guardrail. Angle took control and went to work on Abyss. He thought he had Abyss weakened to the point he could go in for the kill, but Abyss hit a black hole slam out of nowhere. But the only problem was that when Angle was swinging around in the air, his feet connected with the referee. While the ref was down, Rhino ran down and hit Abyss with a Gore. Rhino woke the ref up while Angle locked in the Ankle Lock to get the win. Christian Cage pinned Tomko after a vertical facebuster in 0:09:48. Rating: *** 1/4Angle stayed in the ring and told Christian to get his ass down here, as he had someone special he wanted him to face. Cage came down and joined Angle in the ring, but as Cage engaged in a session of trash talking with Angle, he left his back turned to the entranceway, where Tomko came out from and blindsided Cage. Tomko used the edge to get the best of Christian early in the match, but Christian was able to turn things around turning an attempted suplex into a DDT. Kurt Angle stuck around and tried to get involved holding Cage against the ropes, but Cage broke free and moved just as Tomko was coming in with a big kick, that caught Angle instead. Cage then hit a facebuster on Tomko and got the win. Backstage in Matt Morgan’s officeMorgan was sitting at his desk with Robert Roode sitting across from him, making a pitch to let him join Team Nash. Morgan said once again, he will announce his decision at the end of the night. As Roode was leaving, Team 3D showed up at the door. Morgan asked what the heck they wanted. They came right out and said after Lockdown is over, they want the first shot at LAX and the tag titles. Before Morgan could even respond, the Motor City Machine Guns showed up in the doorway saying the same thing. This led to some arguing back and forth, before The Naturals showed up, looking for the same thing. Brother Ray even asked them they’ve been back here 2 days, what gives them the idea they deserve a title shot. Andy Douglas of the Naturals responded that they’ve already proven to be superior to the Machine Guns, and giving them a title shot would right the wrongs from the last time they were in TNA. The as if enough people weren’t already in the room. The Voodoo Kin Mafia came in saying they were walking by and heard people arguing over who should be No. 1 tag title contenders. BG pointed out they’re the former champs and deserve another shot to get them back. Finally Morgan spoke up saying he had more important things to do than to put up with all these idiots. He made a tag team elimination match for Lockdown for the No. 1 contender spot, and made an 8 man tag for tonight. Guns and VKM against Naturals and 3D. Gail Kim and ODB defeated Velvet Sky and Angelina Love when Gail pinned Sky with the Arm Trap Neckbreaker in 0:09:58. Rating: * 3/4The two feuding pairs of knockouts got in the ring to settle the score with each other with Kim and ODB coming out on the victorious end. Although, it seemed like Angelina Love was more willing to throw her partner to the wolves then to get involved herself. After the match, Gail told Angelina that she still wanted to smack the beauty off her face. Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) and The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) defeated The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin), B.G. James and Kip James when A. Douglas pinned B.G. James after a crucifix in 0:18:30. Rating: *** 1/2This match had an interesting dynamic to it as no one trusted the team they were paired with. This led to some tense moments between tags early on. It soon settled down into a normal match, but exploded when the Guns and VKM started fighting with each other. Punches were exchanged, then all four got in the ring and 3D and the Naturals just looked on. Alex Shelley punctuated things hitting Sliced Bread on BG James. The ref finally tried to get order, but Douglas came hit and got the pin on James without the Guns putting up much effort to stop it. In-ring promo by Samoa JoeJoe came out and cut a promo running down Angle as a coward and said Cage was just a sneaky little bastard. Cage though came down and said he was going to show Joe just how much of a sneaky little bastard he can be. He had to pick Joe’s opponent for the night and had decided that his opponent was going to be … Kurt Angle. Angle came down to ringside livid. He had a mic in hand yelling no way. He already had his match tonight and Cage wasn’t going to make him wrestle again. Angle threw the mic down and started heading to the back, but Matt Morgan cut him off. Morgan said the deal was, you can pick ANYONE on the TNA roster, and since Angle was on the TNA roster, he had to wrestle. Morgan also added if he didn’t, he’d pull him from the Lockdown match. Angle reluctantly finally got in the ring. Non-Title Match Samoa Joe pinned Kurt Angle after an Aztecan suplex in 0:12:07. Rating: ****It will be interesting to see if Cage’s strategy to match Joe and Angle will pay off, but tonight, Joe maintained an upper hand. The TNA champ hit his arsenal of moves on Angle, but Angle was able to clip Joe’s leg and get the advantage that way. Joe though was able to turn things around and slipped out of an Angle Slam to hit a suplex for the win. In-ring promo with Team Nash
To close out the show, Kevin Nash led his team, including Robert Roode to the ring. Nash demanded Matt Morgan come out and give him the right answer. Morgan came out and enter the ring. He said, it was only fair, he bring Team Sting out here as well to hear what he has to say. Sting then led LAX and Booker T to ringside, standing outside looking in at Morgan. Morgan then announced that he WILL let Robert Roode join Team Nash, which set off a big celebration from the team. Then Morgan continued. Since Nash’s team now has five members, Sting’s team gets to also add a fifth member. Nash’s mood then changed. It then changed even more when Morgan announced, that the fifth member of Team Sting, was MATT MORGAN!! Morgan then clotheslined Roode and the rest of Team Sting rushed into the ring setting off a 10-man brawl to close the show.

I've always liked the idea of Pick Your Poison. We'll see how this one turns out.
Didn't know if you'd have Rhyno or the Dudleys interfere in a match like this. Would have slightly preferred Angle going over a little more clean. Especially after his recent loss to Joe.
Team 3D and the Naturals hold more interest to me in the tag division so I'm happy they won their match.
Hmm...Angle has been looking very weak as of late. Maybe that means he walks out with the title?
Love the ending segment. Having Morgan join Sting's team was a great moment.

IMPACT (April 10, 2008) [/center] Tonight, Impact will feature five 1-on-1 matches between the Lethal Lockdown participants. Whichever side gets the most wins, will have the match advantage. In Lethal Lockdown, after the initial 5 minute period of 1-on-1 wrestling, the winning team gets to send its next man in for a 2-on-1 advantage for the next 2 minutes until the other team can even things up. Also tonight, Samoa Joe, Christian Cage and Kurt Angle will all meet in the ring to officially sign the contract for their Lockdown World Title match. AJ Styles pinned Homicide with the Styles Clash in 0:08:34. Rating: **** 1/4About the only shame of this match was that it didn’t last longer. Homocide proved to be more than capable of sticking with the more veteran AJ Styles. The two kept up a fast paced back-and-forth style with each exchanging high flying moves. The ending came when Homocide tried to set AJ up for a Gringo Killer, but instead AJ twisted him around and hit the Styles Clash for the pin. Team Nash takes a 1-0 lead over Team Sting. Booker T pinned Scott Steiner after a scissors kick in 0:11:32. Rating: ** 3/4Before the match Scott Steiner grabbed a mic and told Booker he’s been waiting seven years for a chance to kick his ass. Seven years a bad taste has been in his mouth since the last Monday Nitro. He said he was planning on taking out seven years of frustrations out tonight and making Booker his bitch. Booker though stopped Steiner’s rant with a clothesline and the match began. Booker held the early advantage until trying a kick on Steiner, who moved and Booker ended up draped over the top rope. Steiner did his typical showing off after every move. But it finally caught up with him. As he was doing pushups, Booker rolled up Steiner for a pin attempt. Steiner kicked out, but when he got up, Booker hit a scissors kick for the pin. Teams Tied 1-1 Backstage interview with Traci BrooksJeremy Borash was talking to Traci Brooks about her Knockouts Title match. Brooks spoke a minute about how Kong isn’t as unbeatable as everyone seems to think, because she’s not afraid of her. The interview though was interrupted by Kong who showed up and started brawling with Brooks. Brooks never backed down and traded shots with the champ until security came to break them up. Matt Morgan pinned Tomko after the Carbon Footprint in 0:11:36. Rating: * 3/4Morgan made his first TNA match an impressive one. After being locked in a power dual with Tomko, Morgan came out on top, finishing things off with his Carbon Footprint. Team Sting leads 2-1Robert Roode defeated Hernandez by countout in 0:10:07. Rating: ** 1/4
In a do-or-die match, Roode evened up the score for Team Nash, scoring a countout victory over Hernandez. This sets up a winner take all match between the two captains. Hernandez proved to be the stronger man in the match, but Roode proved to be the more cunning. At one point, Roode went to the outside to catch a breather, only to have SuperMex fly over the top and come crashing down on him. The two fought on the floor for a minute, all the while the ref counting. Roode leaned up the guardrail and Hernandez readied to charge at him. Roode though wasn’t as hurt as he made out to be, and backdroped Hernandez over the guardrail and into the crowd. Roode then slid back into the ring to beat the count and get the win. Teams tied 2-2Kevin Nash pinned Sting with the Jackknife Power Bomb in 0:14:50. Rating: * ½The two captains locked up with a lot of personal animosity between them. Sting gained an early advantage but Nash quickly turned it around by moving out of the way of a Stinger Splash in the corner. Sting gained it back ducking a Nash clothesline and hitting a dropkick sending Nash to the floor. Sting then got back on the offensive and had Nash locked in the Scorpion Death Lock. Team Nash members began coming down to the ring, which caught Sting’s attention getting him to break the hold. Before Nash’s guys could get to the ring, Sting’s team ran down from behind and fought them all to the back. But in the confusion, Nash low blowed Sting behind the refs back, then hit the Jackknife, which was enough for the win, and the advantage on Sunday. In-ring contract signing with Samoa Joe, Christian Cage and Kurt AngleA table was set up and Jim Cornette was present in the ring with the contract in hand ready for all three men to sign. Joe and Christian came to the ring without incident, but Angle refused to go into the ring. Christian signed his name without any problems, but Angle grabbed a mic and said he’s seen one too many of these things, and he will not be the one that ends up going through that table. He’ll be perfectly happy to sign it from the floor. Joe called Angle a whiny baby and asked him to be a man and get in the ring. While Angle was verbally jousting with Joe, Christian tried to sneak out of the ring and attempted to throw Angle in, but Angle caught him and traded punches with Cage. Joe then flew over the top rope and splashed down on both. He then rolled Angle into the ring. Angle though caught Joe as he tried getting into the ring with a lowblow. He then grabbed the title belt that Joe had dropped in the ring and hit Joe in the head with it busting him open. Angle then said he will sign the contract in Joe’s own blood. He stuck his finger in Joe’s cut and proceded to write his name on the contract. His joy though was short lived as Christian flew off the top with a missile dropkick catching Angle. He then hit the unprettier on Angle on top of the belt, which busted him open. Christian then looked at the table with a twinkle in his eye. He rolled Angle on the table then climbed to the top rope for what looked like was going to be a frog splash. But Joe had come to by this point and stopped Christian before he could fly off. Joe then lifted Christian up and had him set up for the Muscle Buster. He walked towards the table on which Angle was laying. Joe then dropped Christian on top of Angle, crashing both down through the table. Joe then paid Angle back, dipping his finger in Angle’s blood and signing the contract. Lockdown is this Sunday on PPV Here is the final card: TNA World Heavyweight ChampionshipSamoa Joe (c) vs. Christian Cage vs. Kurt Angle Lethal LockdownTeam Sting (Sting, Booker T, Matt Morgan and LAX) vs. Team Nash (Kevin Nash, Tomko, A.J. I like the idea of having five singles matches to determine who gets the advantage. Over four stars for 8 minutes? Sign a rematch, quickly! Loved you reminding everyone about the Booker-Steiner feud. Morgan needed to beat Tomko here after his big announcement he'd be a part of Sting's team. Tough loss for Sting. But the heels needed the advantage. Makes me think Sting's team is going over at the PPV though. Wow. Love that Joe/Angle signed in blood. Makes Christian look like bit of a weakling though. He should have opened a vein. Predictions! 4/3/08:
I like Pick Your Poison. Should be a fun show.
Devine gets some momentum. X Title match is really up in the air.
Not an easy match with Abyss for Angle. He won, but he's beaten up a bit for sure, which is the point of Pick Your Poison I suppose.
Not easy for Christian either having to face the former Problem Solver.
Christian picking Angle was actually brilliant. I really enjoyed that.
Liked the last segment a lot too. That should be a fun Lethal Lockdown.

We'll see which team gets the advantage going in. I'll guess Nash's team. Styles winning is a good first step in that direction.
Booker evens it up with a good win over Steiner.
And Morgan beats Tomko. Tomko is sort of the weak link on Team Nash so no issues with this.
Roode gets the countout win. SuperMex is a goon.
Sting is kind of looking like an idiot in a lot of this feud. Nash pins him tonight, but I'm guessing it will be different at Lockdown.
Those guys are gross. Sticking their fingers in blood and stuff. Yuck. Joe to retain.

Been trying to catch up with you, and have reached Against All Odds. Good shows so far, I'm especially pleased that you chose to keep a Knockout's Division, which many fantasy bookers drop. The difficulty in booking a near-contemporary circuit like TNA 2008, is that it's really easy to book like they did in real life. I mean, you have to continue the things they were doing, and some things make sense to book (like TBP cleansing TNA from ugly people), but I hope you manage to make your own mark on it.

Yeah, I'll be honest, there are some aspects I pulled from how things played out in real life, especially early on. But I can assure you the farther we go, the more it diverges. I was just thinking about the other day, I'm pretty far ahead as far as the sim goes, and I compared one of my last PPVs to the same real life PPV and had a good chuckle thinking about the differences.

LOCKDOWN (April 13, 2008)
10-Man Battle Royal: Petey Williams won a 10-man Battle Royal: x J. Devine defeated Curry Man after a flying cross body press in 0:08:59 x P. Williams defeated S. Dutt after a top-rope Frankensteiner in 0:12:29 x Creed defeated J. Devine after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:15:13 x Lethal defeated Prime Time after the Flying Elbowdrop in 0:17:24 x Creed defeated J. Rave after a side headlock in 0:19:32 x Creed defeated E. Williams defeated Creed after the Canadian Destroyer in 0:28:36 Rating: **** (Petey Williams won the TNA X DIVISION TITLE.)
One of the newest X Division starts put on quite a show as Consequences Creed pinned four men in the battle royal, including two former champs in Jay Lethal and Johnny Devine.
But it was the veteran Petey Williams getting the last laugh, catching Creed with the Canadian Destroyer to win the X Division title.
Cage Match: Kaz pinned James Storm with the Wave of the Future in 0:07:32. Rating: *** 1/4
Kaz finally got his hands on James Storm and made the most of it. Storm at one point tried to reach through the cage to get one of his beer bottles on the floor, but before he could pull it in, Kaz dropkicked Storm’s back, sending him face first into the cash and making him drop his beer.
Kaz then nailed Wave of the Future to get the win.
Cage Match: Awesome Kong pinned Traci Brooks with the Awesome Bomb in 0:11:16. Rating: * 3/4 (Awesome Kong retained the TNA KNOCKOUTS TITLE.)
Brooks gave everything she had at Kong, but at the end, she turned out to be just another name added to Kong’s hitlist. Kong’s size and power were too much for Brooks to contend with. An Awesome Bomb sealed her fate.
10-Man Tag Team Battle Royal: B.G. James and Kip James won a 5-team Battle Royal: x Black Reign defeated C. Sabin (partner: Alex Shelley) after the Blackout in 0:10:18 x C. The Voodoo Kin Mafia will get one more shot at the LAX’s world tag team titles, after outlasting four other teams in a tag battle royal.
Escape the Cage Match: Rhino defeated Abyss by escaping the cage in 0:12:36. Rating: ** 3/4
In the record book’s it will show Rhino getting a victory over Abyss, he after the match, he looked like anything but a winner.
The monster was out for blood on the man that turned on him last month. Abyss made sure he brought chairs and chains into the cage with him.
The two took turns brutalizing each other, until Abyss caught the upper hand. He took Rhino and threw him against all sides of the cage, until he made the mistake of throwing him against the door, which broke open. Rhino crashed to the floor and was declared the winner.
That didn’t matter much to Abyss who kept on the attack. He pulled out a table, covered the table with thumbtacks, then chokeslammed Rhino on top of them.
Lethal Lockdown Match: Latin American X-Change (Homicide and Hernandez), Booker T, Matt Morgan and Sting defeated AJ Styles, Robert Roode, Tomko, Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash when Hernandez beat S. Steiner after a Border Toss in 0:36:37. Rating: *** 1/4
This one was just brutal. Take 10 guys who have spent atleast the last month brawling with each other, add in a cage and a variety of weapons, and you got the recipe for mayhem.
The high spot of the match involved two arch rivals, Robert Roode and Booker T. The door was still broke from the last match, Roode tried to escape only to have Booker T follow. Roode tried to climb up the cage but once again, Booker T followed.
More weapons awaited on top the cage. Booker got Roode ontop of a table, then climbed a ladder and splashed down ontop of Roode, crashing him through the table.
Meanwhile in the cage, Team Sting cleaned house. Hernandez showed his strength, hitting the Border toss on Steiner through a table to get the pin.
Triangle Cage Match: Samoa Joe defeated Christian Cage and Kurt Angle when Joe pinned K. Angle with the Muscle Buster in 0:23:42. Rating: **** 1/4 (Samoa Joe retained the TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE.)
Joe, Christian and Angle put on a classic. The three fought inside the cage, outside the cage, everywhere they could. The three men in the match seemingly allowed someone to always be there to break up what would normally be a sure pin.
Christian frog splashed Angle through a table and Joe was there to break it up. Angle had Joe in the ankle lock and Christian hit a splash on Angle to break it up.
The one time no one was around to break up a pin was after Joe torpedoed Christian from the floor into the side of the cage , then got back in the ring to hit the Muscle Buster on Angle to retain his title.

In my opinion, TNA should have brought in a female wrestler who could match up with Awesome Kong on an even level. Beth Phoenix would have been a great choice, but that's the way wrestling is, I guess. Great card up and down. Keep it up, I'm reading it.

Good opener for Lockdown, and happy to see Petey Williams get his X Title. Was a bit surprised/disappointed Skipper didn't last longer given the circumstances of his getting stripped of the title, but a great match anyway.
Nothing wrong with the match itself, but I'm a little tired of Kaz/Storm. I think it's time for both men to move forward.
Kong continues to dominate. Not sure who can possibly stop her.
Not going to lie, a little surprised VKM walked out of Lockdown #1 contenders.
Abyss loses, but gets a little revenge on Rhino post-match. This is nothing against your booking of him, but to me, this is the least interesting Abyss can be. I'm not a huge fan of him in real life. Joseph Park is for more interesting to me.
Lethal Lockdown sounded like a fun match. Right result too with the face team coming out on top.
Main event really delivered. I could nitpick who took the fall, but really, Joe winning is the story. Great main event and he's really coming into his own as champ.

Was hoping Skipper would fare better, but I have no problems with Williams getting the title.
Good way to end the feud between Kaz/Storm. Now we'll see if Kaz can move up the card.
Have to say I'm stunned that VKM won the battle royal. They are the least "interesting" team that was in there and the least likely ones to win the straps.
The win doesn't do a lot for Rhyno.
Crazy happenings in the Lethal Lockdown. Booker splash Roode on top of the cage will make several highlight reels.
Glad to see Joe didn't drop the title in a triangle match. I'm guessing that maybe this leads up to Joe/Christian in a singles match.

Full disclosure, I left the tag battle royal unbooked. VKM would not have been my first choice to win. But I felt comfortable I could run with either 3D, Guns or Naturals winning so I left it unbooked and it gave me VKM. No worries though, Ill work with it.
As for Kaz, he is definitely one I think TNA dropped the ball on in real life. I got big plans for him and am currently writing a major angle for him as I'm writing shows a few months past where I'm posting. Might be one last piece of business with Storm/Roode before they can go their separate ways.
As for Joe and Christian, well all I can say is, stay tuned.

IMPACT (April 17, 2008) At the top of the show, Christian Cage came out and challenged Samoa Joe for the World title. He made the case this it is his time to get a 1-on-1 match, and he was never pinned at Lockdown. Joe came out and to perhaps the surprise of some, agreed with Christian. He said he’s proven on multiple times he’s the better man the Kurt Angle, and agreed Christian should be next in line for a title shot. He told Christian he will give him a title shot at Sacrifice. This brought out Kurt Angle who wanted yet another shot. Joe said he’s sick and tired of Angle, but he really would like one more chance to shut him up for good. If Kurt really thinks he's the better man, then prove it tonight. He challenged Kurt to grab anyone, and if they could beat Joe and Christian in a tag match, Kurt would get another shot. Petey Williams pinned Elix Skipper with the Canadian Destroyer in 0:09:29. Rating: *** (Petey Williams retained the TNA X DIVISION TITLE.)Elix Skipper called Petey Williams walking away from Lockdown with the X Division title a crime. Skipper claims he never should’ve lost his title and should’ve never been put in that position to have to fight nine others to get it back. He challenged Williams to come out right now and give him his fair shot. Williams showed that he was going to be a fighting champion and came out with no hesitation to answer Skipper’s challenge. He then made his first title defense a successful one, getting the win with the Canadian Destroyer. Latin American X-Change (Homicide and Hernandez) defeated Kip James and B.G. James when Hernandez pinned K. James with the Border Toss in 0:14:33. Rating: ** 1/4 (Latin American X-Change retained the TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES.) Four days after competing in Lethal Lockdown, LAX was fresh enough to stop one more charge from Voodoo Kin Mafia at the tag belts. But a new challenger has stepped forward. Team 3D has made their intentions clear that they are going after the tag team titles. After the match, 3D ran in and laid out the champs, 3Ding Homocide through a table. Backstage with Kurt Angle and A.J. Styles
Kurt Angle went up to A.J. Styles and asked him to be his partner in the main event tonight. A.J. said no problem and told Kurt not to worry, they’ll get the job done. Angle stressed to A.J. how important this match was, and how losing was not going to be an option. 8-Knockout Battle Royal: Angelina Love won an 8-man Battle Royal: x Christy threw out Traci in 0:01:03 x Roxxi threw out Christy in 0:01:18 x Roxxi threw out Sky in 0:01:36 x Love threw out Gail after the Mexican armdrag takedown in 0:03:03 x Love threw out ODB after a monkey flip in 0:03:35 x Roxxi threw out Jackie in 0:06:54 x Love threw out Roxxi in 0:12:03 Rating: ** 3/4Angelina Love has put herself in position for a Knockouts title shot winning an 8 knockout battle royal. She got a little assist from her partner Velvet Sky after Sky was eliminated. Most notably, Sky pulled down the top rope to get ODB out after a monkey flip from Love. Scott Steiner made Sting submit to the Steiner Recliner in 0:08:22. Rating: * 3/4Steiner wanted to prove that him getting pinned in Lethal Lockdown was a fluke, by calling out Sting for an impromptu match. His teammate from Sunday Tomko gave him a hand laying out the Icon with a chair allowing Steiner to get the win. They double teamed Sting after the match until Booker T came into make the save. Christian Cage and Samoa Joe defeated Kurt Angle and AJ Styles when Cage pinned Styles with the Unprettier in 0:16:30. Rating: ***Christian secured his title shot against Joe at Sacrifice by pinning A.J. to win the tag match. After he shook Joe’s hand and the two showed respect to each other. Whether that will last in the month leading up to their match is anyone’s guess. Angle was not happy after being on the losing end. In the ring after the match he was visibly upset and yelling at A.J. for costing him his title shot. A.J. apologized and offered his hand to Angle. Angle instead hit A.J. with the Angle Slam as the camera faded out.

I like you going with Joe/Cage. On the other hand, Angle needs to work his way back up the ladder. He's been getting his ass handed to him as of late.
Big win for Williams to solidify his title reign. Looks like Skipper isn't going to be his first feud.
It's too bad the Dudleys didn't win the battle royal. Looks like you're just skipping over the challenge from VKM. I'd have preferred a longer feud between VKM-XChange. Not because I wanted that to be the feud for the titles, but since they did win the battle royal, they deserved more consideration.
Extremely tough loss for Sting.
Good twist at the end to bring Angle into his next feud. For some reason I didn't see it coming. Bravo!

Well, you have to admire Angle's never-say-die attitude. But he can't keep losing title matches and expect to get more chances.
Would have liked to see the Petey/Skipper be on PPV, but a good match none the less.
VKM lose their title shot, as suspected. Team 3D is a much better challenger for LAX.
Styles is not a bad teammate at all for Angle.
So Love becomes Kong's next victim?
Rough night for Sting.
Angle needs to move away from the World Title for awhile. Match with Angle should be awesome. Also good that Christian finally gets his 1-on-1 match.

IMPACT (April 24, 2008) Rhino pinned Abyss after a piledriver in 0:11:23. Rating: *** Team 3D gave Rhino a hand in his match with Abyss. Brother Devon distracted the ref, while Brother Ray laid Abyss out with a chair shot, leading to a Rhino Piledriver. The three began to beatdown Abyss after the match, but LAX was looking for some revenge for last week. They came to even up the numbers, and it ended up being Brother Devon getting blackhole slammed through a table. Backstage with the Angle AllianceKurt Angle was sitting in his lockerroom with Tomko and Scott Steiner, when A.J. Styles walked in and said Kurt asked to speak with him. Angle extended an apology to A.J. for snapping at the end of last week and he wants to make amends. Angle said he talked to Jim Cornette and made tonight’s main event, A.J. vs. Christian. Angle said not to worry because A.J. will have the Alliance’s full support. Jay Lethal pinned Elix Skipper after a flying elbow in 0:12:10. Rating: ** 1/2Jay Lethal put himself in position for a shot at the X Division title by beating the man who cost him the belt a few months back in Elix Skipper. Lethal scored a clean victory and afterwards, it was announced that he will challenge Petey Williams for the X title at the next PPV, Sacrifice. Kaz defeated Robert Roode by disqualification in 0:11:13. Rating: *** 1/2 [James Storm interfered against Kaz.]It looked like Kaz settled his score with James Storm at lockdown, and was now moving on to finish old business with Robert Roode but Storm doesn’t look like he’s going to go away. When Kaz took control of his match, James Storm ran in a laid Kaz out with his Last Call. Backstage in Jim Cornette’s officeJim Cornette was in his office with a woman signing a contract. He shook her hand and said congratulations and walked her out of his office as Gail Kim walked by. Cornette stopped Kim and introduced her to the woman he was with. He said she was a new Knockout just signed to TNA, Madison Rayne. He said she’s a rookie and asked Kim to help her out if she needs anything. After Cornette walked away, Kim welcomed her to the company and offered Rayne her full support. Rayne was very receptive and said she’s always admired Kim and looked forward to working with her. Awesome Kong pinned Velvet Sky with the Awesome Bomb in 0:12:21. Rating: ** [Raisha Saeed interfered against Velvet Sky.]In a non-title match, Awesome Kong sent a little message to her next challenger Angelina Love, by destroying her partner and BFF Velvet Sky. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) defeated The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) when C. Sabin defeated C. Stevens by disqualification in 0:10:53. Rating: **If anyone thought this was going to settle things between the Naturals and the Guns, they were mistaken. The Naturals are refusing to lose to the Guns. Sabin had Douglas pinned after hitting a cradle shock, but the count was interrupted by Chase Stevens coming in and smacking Sabin with a chair. Christian Cage defeated AJ Styles by disqualification. Rating: ** 3/4 [Kurt Angle interfered against Christian Cage.]Christian Cage was supposed to get a shot at Samoa Joe at Sacrifice, now not only does it appear that won't happen, but Cage's future is in question. The match Kurt Angle set up between A.J. and Christian never got a chance to take place, as Angle, Tomko and Scott Steiner all blindsided Cage as he was walking down to the ring. It was such a brutal attack that at one point, Styles even tried to stop it, saying Angle was going too far. Angle wasn’t about to have anyone get in his way, so he hit A.J. in the head with a chair. Samoa Joe tried to run and make a save, but he was met with a lead pipe from Steiner. The Angle Alliance members brought Cage to the top of the stage where Tomko powerbombed him off the stage through a table. Cage was a bloody mess and was taken away on a stretcher.

Just can't get into any of these hardcore brawls yet. I like Rhino, but I'm just not feeling these angles yet.
Angle has to have something up his sleeve. I wonder what he has in store. Turning on Styles maybe?
Petey vs. Lethal should be great. Match I'm definitely looking forward to.
Ugh... leave Kaz alone, Storm!
And there's the debut of Madison Rayne. I like her a lot, so glad to see her make her official debut.
...not that any Knockout stands a chance against Kong right now. Just pure domination.
MCMG get a good win.
I'm guessing this is where Christian leaves the company? That beatdown was brutal. Even Styles tried to stop it.

Christian has left the company. The night I make him No. 1 contender and book him in a PPV title match, he was nice enough to put in his notice. Grrrrr
Though TNA management is still willing to negotiate a new contract between now and when he in real make his WWE return towards the end of the year.
