After a few hectic weeks I'm hopeful to start posting cards with more frequency. I have to learn to be less wordy in my write-ups.

Was Mascaras a pain in the ass all the way back in the '70s? Or has he hit that point yet?
And Parisi and Miller are on a collision course!
Thoroughly enjoyed the Kowalski/Rufus match. Smart move by Rufus to go get Kox's opponent in the first round to watch his back.
I think Stasiak has a strong chance of coming out of this tournament as champion.
Smart move by the Funks to get the Flying Redheads DQ'd. Bastien continuing to attack Terry after the bell was a good way of giving him a bit of character. Sometimes it is hard to give each guy in a team a personality. You did a good job of that here.
Mascaras in the finals? Maybe he's taking the strap?
Cute bit to give Zbyszko a huge win over Kox.
Strongbow and Wahoo make fine challengers to the Funk Brothers. It's a match I would have loved to see.
WHOA! Gary Hart makes his debut! I'm guessing Mascaras wasn't interested in doing the job, but you worked around it to give Stasiak the title. No problem with that. I think Stasiak is becoming a strong heel in the UWC, and could easily be one of those guys you build up into a superstar.
Tough draw for Race. Liked the nod to history with it being due to the curfew. Hope to see more shows from you soon!

New champion getting crowned tonight. Let's get to it!
Mascaras winning is a good call for the first match. Boy do I hate him, but this is 1973, so he's still over and has more upside than Dr. Bill.
And Poffo moves on, and we have quite a little rivalry building between Parisi and Dr. Bill.
Huge brawl in the next match, and Kowalski and Jones are out! That's a shock - thought Kowalski had a good shot to win the whole thing.
With all of Stasiak's belly-aching, no way he's leaving first round.
I love when a face or face team gets DQ'ed for something like happened in the tag title match. It shows just how much the heels have gotten to them. Imagine this one is far from over.
With Stasiak in the finals already, was about as close to a sure thing as possible that Mascaras was moving on over Poffo.
Zbyszko finally gets himself going a little bit, even if the win was fluky. It's like when you're in a slump in baseball - you don't have to hit a homerun to get out of it. Sometimes a little bloop single is all you need.
The Native Americans were the right call here. They've had battles with the Funks before and surely this will be a nice next chapter.
Gary Hart! Mascaras had a good run in the tourney, but far more mileage with Stasiak as champ, especially with Gary Hart on board. Mascaras should be the first challenger.
Ah, old school curfew. That used to happen all the time. It's why main events usually happened in the middle of the card. That being said, Race can't be thrilled with this, and with the competitor that Bruno is, he can't be either.

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've posted (although I've lurked and popped in every now and then). For those that were actually following the UWC, I apologize for not posting any new cards in months. Although I've been a bit busy, it's not the reason for the lack of cards. Several months ago the computer on which I had TNM running gave out on me. Since this was an old model, I haven't been able to find a way to replace the part that gave out. I basically lost a year's worth of booking and access to the results. So, that's the reason for the lack of new cards. I tried getting TNM running through the DOSBox program on my newer one, but that has not worked at all for me. So, I was pretty frustrated and took a break from TNM related matters.
But time's passed and I'm no longer annoyed or frustrated. I'm now looking at how to get back into the booking game. I actually found a few of my UWC booking notes and could try to either pick up where I left off or start this over. Since TNM has been a pain to get running on my newer computer, I'm looking at AWE as the option for continuing. Either way, for those that were following the UWC I hope you've enjoyed the brief run so far and thanks for following along. Hopefully, I'll get back into it and subject you guys to my booking delusions of grandeur once more.
