Saturday Night Beatdown #1 ::An instrumental version of "Call to the Warrior" by Affiance starts up as the opening graphic for American Championship Wrestling flashes across the screen. It then opens up to a shot of the crowd as they are on their feet, signs in hand, ready to see what the night has in store. The image on the screen then focuses in on the commentators, Aiden Ryan and Mark Stone as they welcome everyone to the show and explain that tonight pro wrestling embarks on a new journey with the ACW and are glad you tuned in.::
Evan Bourne and Zack Ryder defeated Tyler Reks and Justin Gabriel when Bourne pinned Gabriel with the Air Bourne in 7:13. Rating: * 3/4
::After the match Bourne and Ryder are celebrating in the ring when the same song to open the show starts to play. At the top of the stage, the General Manager, Sammy Malone appears. He says that he was very pleased with the match just now and that to make sure ACW gets off the ground running, he is making Bourne and Ryder wrestle right now. On the line? The ACW Television Title!::
Match for the Vacant ACW Television Title: Zack Ryder pinned Evan Bourne with the Rough Ryder in 5:43. Rating: * 3/4 (Zack Ryder won the ACW Television Title.)
::Celebrating with the title, Ryder sees Bourne still lying in the ring as officials and EMS are attending to him. Ryder takes the mic from the ring announcer and says that the only reason he is here in ACW and not up North is because of the fans. He says the fans were the first to cheer him and "woo woo woo him" but once he started getting held back and not getting shots, the fans were nowhere to be found to have his back. He blames the fans and points to Evan Bourne. This is another guy you stopped respecting, but, for some reason, he still likes you. I am here to finally make an impact, and this is just the beginning. He tosses the mic down and walks out holding the ACW Television Title above his head.::
Heath Slater pinned X-Pac with the Sweeness in 4:35. Rating: ** 1/2 Match Notes: X-Pac opened the match up on the offense and had the crowd behind him with his same old antics of the past crotch chopping and all that. Heath Slater was able to get the momentum though and was able to catch Heath Slater with the Sweetness and grab the 1-2-3 on the former 1-2-3 Kid in a match just shy of 5 minutes.
::Before the upcoming match, the commentators announce that this is the first match in the ACW World Title tournament. They also mention that the tournament will have a loser's bracket that will continue up through the 5th show where ACW will crown it's first ever champion.::
Michael McGillicutty pinned DH Smith with the McGillicutter in 6:29. Rating: ** Match Notes: The son of the legendary Mr. Perfect made his presence felt tonight in ACW with a win over the great British Bulldog's son. McGillicutty came out of the gate with an onslaught of offense with DH Smith only able to get a few counters in here and there. McGillicutty was finally able to put Smith away at the 6:29 mark with the McGillicutter in a nice solid match.
The NC Connection (Matt Hardy/Shane Helms) defeated Extr3me (Shane Douglas/Tommy Dreamer) when Hardy made Douglass pass out in the Ice Pick in 8:31. Rating: ** 3/4 Match Notes: Long time friends Matt Hardy and Shane Helms are here in ACW to resurrect their careers. They pulled off a great win over two legendary ECW wrestlers in Tommy Dreamer and Shane Douglas. It was a great back and forth match with Extr3me coming close to picking up the win a couple times. Then while Helms and Dreamer were going at it on the outside, Matt Hardy locked in the Ice Pick and made Douglas pass out to pick up a big win in their search for the Tag Titles.
::Backstage, interviewer Sophie Adams catches up with Michael McGillicutty who is hanging up his phone. Sophie asks Michael how he felt about tonights match. Michael says that he only wishes his dad could be here to witness it. He talks about how there is a lot of expectations to live up to with his family lineage in the wrestling business and that he's not going to back down from anything that stands in his way. He mentions how he never got the real chance to shine, and that WWE is going to wish they kept him around after they see what he does here in ACW and that he looks forward to his match against Kevin Nash next week in which he questions the reasoning Nash getting a bye was because he's old and is viewed as a legend by some.::
Wade Barrett pinned Drew McIntyre with the Wasteland in 10:57. Rating: ** 1/4 Match Notes: The Brit and the Scot end the night in the main event and the second match of the ACW World Title Tournament. McIntyre started on offense early but eventually broke down and gave it over to Barrett. McIntyre would eventually battle back and seem to be back in control. That was until one costly mistake allowed Barrett to hit the Wasteland and propel himself into the next round, while McIntyre got kicked down to the Loser's Bracket.
Card Rating: ** 1/4

Saturday Night Beatdown #2
::The show opens up with Kevin Nash in the ring to a large amount of cheers. He says that he's happy to have the chance to continue his career and have the opportunity to put another World Title on his resume come three weeks from now. He knows he's not the youngest cat anymore, and that he's a little more stiff, but, that he still has it. He's going to make sure he gives it his all come tonight against Mr. Perfect Jr.::
NC Connection (Matt Hardy/Shane Helms) defeated Tyler Reks and Justin Gabriel when Helms pinned Reks with a flying bodypress in 6:23. Rating: ** 1/2 Match Notes: After a great opening segment with Nash, the NC Connection follow it up with another great win. This is the 2nd week in a row that Reks and Gabriel have lost a tag match to open the show. Also unfortunately for Reks and Gabriel, the NC Connection pretty much manhandled them from the beginning. Things have to change if Reks and Gabriel want to be taken seriously in ACW.
Tensai defeated Wade Barrett with the Claw Slam in 6:39. Rating: * 1/2 Match Notes: After a big win last week in the first round of the World Title Tournament, Wade Barret had a match to work on his game a little more and strategize for next week. However, Tensai wasn't having any of that. He started in control and didn't give Barrett much offense. Not sure if this is a good sign or not for Barrett come next week when he is scheduled to take on the winner of the McGillicutty/Nash match later on.
ACW Television Title Match: Zack Ryder pinned Heath Slater with the Rough Ryder in 5:01. Rating: ** 1/2 (Zack Ryder retained the ACW Television Title.) Match Notes: After a decisive win and taking out Evan Bourne last week, Zack Ryder continued his new anti-fan persona success over Heath Slater. Slater came out with a nice effort but just couldn't handle Ryder like he did X-Pac last week.
::Backstage, Sophie Adams is with Michael McGillicutty. Sophie recalls his win last week and asks him about what Nash said earlier in the night. McGillicutty says that he remember Nash being the same asshole now as he was back in his WCW days when his father was part of the nWo. He says that Nash was the reason his dad, Curt Hennig, never really made after joining the nWo. It was Nash, Hall, and Hogan and they used everyone else to put themselves over and make the money. He remembers his father saying to never let anyone tell you what you can and can't do, and to fight his battles with pride.::
Drew McIntyre pinned DH Smith with the Future Shock in 9:25. Rating: ** 3/4 Match Notes: This was the first match of the Loser's Bracket as part of the World Title Tournament, unfortunately for DH Smith, he is now eliminated and has nowhere to go in his push towards winning the title at this time. In a great back and forth match, McIntyre had more passion to get the job done and hit the Future Shock to pick up a big win and keep his hand in the deal for the title.
Vredsbyrd (Gangrel/Vampiro) defeated Extr3me (Shane Douglas/Tommy Dreamer) when Vampiro pinned Douglas with the Vampiro Spike in 6:09. Rating: ** 1/4 Match Notes: Just like Reks and Gabriel, Extr3me faces another loss with Shane Douglas eating the pin once again. The team of Gangrel and Vampiro worked together though like a well oiled machine and make a very interesting team together. This match was a big brawl full of high powered moves.
Michael McGillicutty pinned Kevin Nash with the McGillicutter in 8:21. Rating: * 1/2 Match Notes: The battle of young versus old, skilled vs rookie. The fans came into this one cheering heavily for Nash and letting McGillicutty know that he wasn't the man they came to see. But McGillicutty didn't let that get under his skin. He stuck to his guns and held his own against the veteran. The fans and Nash thought the match was about to be over when Nash had control of the match. He irish whipped McGillicutty in order to set up for the Big Boot, however smart thinking and the slight height difference allowed McGillicutty to duck under, turn Nash around and hit him with his finisher. As the ref counted the 3 count, the fans were completely shocked and silent.
Card Rating: **

Saturday Night Beatdown #3
::After the opening intro to ACW, Michael McGillicutty is in the ring. He talks about last week on how he shocked the world, and put the nay-sayers to sleep about him not being tough enough or skilled enough to beat Kevin Nash last week. He talks about sticking to his gameplan and that tonight he will continue his push towards the title by taking out Barrett in the Main Event. A spot on the card where he belongs, and will be for a long time after this. Kevin Nash comes out to the top of the ramp to an ovation of cheers and says that not to forget that he is still in the tournament and very well could see each other again very soon and to drop that cocky attitude just like his dad needed to do. This upsets McGillicutty and he tells Nash that not if he has anything to do with it.::
Justin Gabriel pinned X-Pac with the 450 Splash in 8:33. Rating: *** Match Notes: Gabriel and Pac got the show off to a great start with almost 9 minutes of action in the opening bout. Fans were expecting Reks to come out with Gabriel but was nowhere to be found. After back and forth action, Gabriel hit some nice combos to pickup the win and break his luck of being on the losing end like in the tag team matches.
Drew McIntyre pinned Kevin Nash after a small package in 7:33. Rating: ** Match Notes: Moral of the story here is that McGillicutty came through on his promise that Nash would not win tonight after he purposefly attacked McIntyre to cause the DQ. GM Sammy Malone didn't like this one bit, and ordered McGillicutty to the back and for the ref to restart the match. Nash taking advantage of the attack was in control until McGillicutty's music hit and Nash turned around, this allowed McIntyre to roll up Nash for the upset victory.
::After the match, Nash completely lost it and started going berserk. He picked McIntyre up and gave him not one, but two Jackknife Power Bombs. While the ref was trying to stop Nash, he got shoved down and that's when personnel from the back came down. It took many crew members to hold Nash back from picking up McIntyre for a 3rd time as they went to commercial break.::
Tensai pinned Heath Slater with the Claw Slam in 5:18. Rating: * 1/2 Match Notes: After the successful defeat of Wade Barrett last week, Tensai continued his carnage and beat the ever living snot out of Heath Slater. Tensai is now 2-0 and Heath Slater has lost his last two after his initial win on the premier.
ACW Television Title Match: Zack Ryder pinned DH Smith with the Rough Ryder in 9:22. (Zack Ryder retained the ACW Television Title.) Rating: ** Match Notes: DH Smith goes from being a favorite to winning the World Title to being defeated by the focused Zack Ryder in a TV Title match in a match that almost went the 10 minute limit. DH Smith showed that he has the heart but just couldn't overcome Ryder in the end.
::After the match, Zack Ryder grabbed a mic and asked the fans how they liked that. How did they like watching another person get their ass kicked by Iced-Z? He says this new passion he's found without the fans is where he needed to be long ago. He gave in, wanted to me Mr. Happy and interact with them. Well, times have changed. He says that the entire roster will eventually feel the Rough Ryder, and when that's said and done, he will be at the top of the world where he rightfully belongs.::
Michael McGillicutty pinned Wade Barrett with the McGillicutter in 7:25. Rating: ** Match Notes: Nash tried making his way out to the ring, but was stopped before anything could escalate. Barrett participating last week against Tensai really hurt him here as he was still suffering from the pain he endured last week. McGillicutty used that to his advantage and was able to take home the victory fairly easily and move one step closer to the title.
Card Rating: **

Saturday Night Beatdown #4
::We open the show with the commentators talking about all the action that went down last week when McGillicutty's music starts and he makes his way to the ring. He says he told the fans last week what exactly would happen, and did happen. He says Nash is out of the picture and will be for a long time. That's when Nash comes out and says this isn't finished between them. McGillicutty begs to differ. Nash says that since McGillicutty is so confident, why doesn't he put up his spot in the finals next week in a match against him tonight. To prove that he isn't all talk. McGillicutty says that he has no problem with that, and will give him the same beating he did two weeks ago. The commentators then hype the main event tonight between these two then go to commercial.:
::Back from commercial, Zack Ryder is in the ring. He says that tonight there is an open challenge to anyone that would like to take this ACW TV Title off of him. All of a sudden, Evan Bourne's music hits, and the crowd goes insane as he makes his way out. Bourne says he thought they were friends, and that he doesn't know how Ryder could injure him carelessly like he did. He says that he won't have a problem beating Ryder tonight and giving the people a TV champion they deserve to see.::
ACW Television Title Match: Evan Bourne and Zack Ryder battled to a draw in 10:00. Rating: * 3/4 (Zack Ryder retained the ACW Television Title.) Match Notes: Evan Bourne is back from his injury and that shocked Ryder. These two went pound for pound, move for move, giving the crowd some nice action in the opener. Neither one could take home the victory and the ref called for the bell at the 10 minute time limit.
Extr3me (Tommy Dreamer and Shane Douglas) defeated Justin Gabriel and Tyler Reks when Dreamer pinned Reks with the DDT in 5:56. Match Rating: ** 1/2 Match Notes: Extr3me picks up a big win here as the Tag Titles will be crowned in the near future. Unfortunately for Gabriel and Reks, this was their third loss as a team together. Gabriel didn't seem too interested in the match as it seems like he really enjoyed being a singles competitor after his win last week. Only time will tell what happens with the team of Gabriel and Reks.
::Sophie Adams is backstage with Wade Barrett and talks to him about his match last week. Wade Barrett says that the past two weeks haven't gone his way, but that tonight he will be back where he needs to be after he beats McIntyre, someone that he's already beat once, and then next week will get redemption on McGillicutty, or even face a bigger challenge in Nash.::
Tensai pinned X-Pac with the Claw Slam in 4:33. Rating: * 3/4 Match Notes: Tensai continues his domination as he makes quick and easy work of X-Pac who was no size match. Seems as their old faction of X-Factor back in the day didn't make Tenasi feel any remorse on X-Pac tonight.
Drew McIntyre pinned Wade Barrett with the Future Shock in 13:14. Rating: ** 3/4 Match Notes: These guys did battle again and even stepped their game up in this match from their first bout a few weeks ago. Unlike in that match when McIntyre lost, he was able to get the better of Wade Barrett this week knocking Barrett out of contention and placing himself in the finals next week between the winner of Nash and McGillicutty. Barrett came into the match with all the confidence in the world, but just couldn't pick the win up and now has lost three straight.
Kevin Nash pinned Michael McGillicutty with the Jackknife Power Bomb in 10:45. Rating: ** Match Notes: This match had the drama written all over it. Nash, the crowd favorite was getting frustrated just like their first match up with the way McGillicutty worked the match. They each tried to use their same playbooks from the first time they wrestled as well. This time though McGillicutty made a huge mistake that Nash was able to take advantage of and pick up the 1...2...3...and when that three count was made, the crowd erupted in cheers as Nash just put himself into the finals for the title next week.
Card Rating: ** 1/4

Like what you've started here in the early stages. Nice developing feud with Bourne and Ryder. I like what you've done with Ryder's character and looking forward to seeing where it goes.
Nash in the finals is interesting. Though I have to believe McGillicutty will make some sort of impact in the title match.
Some good tag teams you've put together. I like the teamming of Hardy/Helms.

Good to have you here. New people is always a plus. Just a question before I really feedback (though I can say now I like most of your roster):
Booked or unbooked?

cards: Thanks for the comments. I turned Ryder heel because I think he could get over in real life again if he put effort into being a bad guy and convincing management that he has it. I've always been a fan of tag teams too, so, there will be a lot more emphasis on those moving forward once I get some more people signed. And, I'm not going to comment about the World Title situation at this time snabbit: Thanks for the welcome. I've been a lurker for a long time, and used to post over at the old TNM boards before the spambots got a hold of it, but, don't even remember my username over there. Glad you like the roster too. And as far as your question goes. It's 80% booked (feuds, title matches), the rest of the show like Tensai vs X-Pac on the last card, was unbooked.

Saturday Beatdown #5
::The show opens up with a video package showing the finishing sequence from last week's main event between Nash & McGillicutty when big red letters appear: CONTROVERSY. The commentators then welcome us to the show and said that some stuff went down last week off the air that will be talked about here in a bit. They then give the rundown of the other matches for tonight.
Michael McGillicutty then comes down to the ring followed by a smaller gentlemen holding a briefcase. McGillicutty asks GM Sammy Malone to head down to the ring, because he needs to make sure he understands what will happen.
The GM comes out, but, stands atop the ramp. He tells McGillicutty to proceed.
McGillicutty says that last week in the main event, he was beaten fair and square, but, at the same time, he was ripped off. Ripped off by the referee. He says that the ref completed the three count even though it should have never started in the first place and that because of it, he either wants his spot back, or, he will take legal action against ACW for being screwed out of the title match. He then tells the video guy to play the replay.
In the replay, we see that after the Jackknife from Nash, McGillicutty has a finger setting on the bottom rope after Nash rolls him up. From the ref's viewpoint, he can't see it.
After the replay, McGillicutty tells the GM that he deserves his spot back and have it taken away from Nash. The crowd boos extremely loud. That if he doesn't get the spot back, that ACW will be praying to the Gods that he doesn't wipe their measly bank account out.
The GM says, "Okay okay Michael...you want your spot back, you got it...HOWEVER, Nash is NOT losing his spot. Nope, in fact, tonight in the Main Event for the ACW World Title, it will be a triple threat match!" And that if McGillicutty doesn't like that, then he can either quit, or shut the hell up and win the title like he claimed he would.
The crowd goes crazy as McGillicutty looks furious as we go to commercial break.::
Tyler Reks pinned X-Pac with the Big Kahuna in 7:50. Rating: ** 1/4 Match Notes: Tyler Reks got a taste of singles action this week as he beats X-Pac in a great opening match. A huge breath of relief for Reks who had been down in the dumps. X-Pac on the other hand hasn't had any luck at all as of late, and really needs to find something to do to get things turned around.
ACW Television Title Match: Evan Bourne defeated Zack Ryder by DQ in 4:32. (Zack Ryder retained the ACW Television Title.) [Tensai interfered against Evan Bourne.] Match Notes: In what was supposed to be the continuation of the program between Ryder and Bourne, Tensai showed up and made his presence felt by taking out the challenger. After the match, Tensai said that he's proven himself these past couple weeks and says that next week it's him and Ryder for the title, not Bourne.
Justin Gabriel pinned Heath Slater with the 450 Spash in 7:41. Rating: *** Match Notes: These two knew each other from their Nexus & Corre days and put together a hell of a match tonight. Slater has been on the downfall while Gabriel has picked up another singles win. After the match, the two shook hands and went on their way.
DH Smith pinned Wade Barrett with the Saito Suplex in 6:53. Rating: * 3/4 Match Notes: The two guys left from the World Title Tournament that got shafted. Both being of European heritage, the respect level was there, especially since DH Smith's dad was a huge idol for Wade Barrett. Smith overcame his losing streak in the end though, and took down Barrett, who once was a favorite to win the title, to losing four in a row. After the match you could tell he was rattled, and attacked DH Smith while he was celebrating.
::Backstage in the locker room, Tyler Reks confronted Justin Gabriel. Reks said that he doesn't see the tandem working anymore and that the team is dispersed. He said he'll see Gabriel somewhere down the line and walked off.::
Vredsbyrd (Gangrel and Vampiro) defeated Extr3me (Shane Douglas and Tommy Dreamer) when Vampiro pinned Douglas with the Vampiro Spike in 5:57 Rating: ** 1/4 Match Notes: Shane Douglas pretty much fought this match alone as he was isolated from Dreamer the entire match while trying to give a valiant effort. When it was all said and done, Vampiro hit him with the Vampiro Spike and hurt Douglas. Douglas has a separated shoulder and will be out of action for up to 3 months.
Triangle Match for the vacant ACW World Title: Kevin Nash drew Michael McGillicutty and Drew McIntyre: x Nash beat McIntyre via the Jackknife Power Bomb in 5:28 x Double countout (Nash and McGillicutty) in 15:04 Rating: ** (The ACW World Title remained vacant.) Match Notes: Being an elimination match for the title, McGillicutty kept out of the way and let Nash and McIntyre go at it, but would still let them know he was there by being a coward and hitting offense and running away. After Nash beat McIntyre, McGillicutty bum rushed Nash. The two went at it, brawled all over the ring, and then in the spot of the night, both went crashing through a table on the outside of the ring that dazed both of them. Nash got up first, and as he was trying to make his way back into the ring, McGillicutty was holding onto his foot and referee Perry Martin made the call for a double countout to much displeasure of the fans.
Card Rating: **

Saturday Beatdown #6:::The show opens up with the GM in the ring. He says that his plan last week backfired and that he was sorry for the fans that a World Champion wasn't crowned. He said this week the same match will take place, except that it won't be elimination style and no countouts. The camera then cuts to the backstage area where Gabriel is thanking Heath Slater for being his partner up next even though they went at it last week.::Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel defeated the NC Connection (Matt Hardy and Shane Helms) when Slater pinned Helms with the Sweetness in 6:15. Rating: *** 3/4 Match Notes: The quickly formed realliance of Slater & Gabriel took it to the favorites to win the Tag Titles in a non stop, high energy match with the upset happening. Slater and Gabriel high fived and were ecstatic while celebrating. Mostly Gabriel though who finally got a win as part of a team here in ACW.ACW Television Title Match:Zack Ryder pinned Tensai after a flying bulldog in 4:42. Rating: * 3/4 (Zack Ryder retained the ACW Television Title.) Match Notes: Evan Bourne appeared at the top of the ramp after Zack Ryder got in the ring. Bourne was obviously still selling some of the beatdown from Tensai last week. Bourne played no distraction to Ryder though as he was able to beat the giant in a little under five minutes. After the match, Bourne attacked Ryder, and then knocked Tensai out of the ring after a devestating missile dropkick from the top rope. Bourne then posed in the ring to large amounts of cheers.::Backstage Tommy Dreamer is walking through when he bumps into DH Smith. Smith says he's sorry to hear about Douglas in which Dreamer replies that it's time to show ACW what he's capable of by himself. DH Smith agrees and says that if he wants a match tonight, he'll go one on one with the hardcore legend since he hasn't seen Barrett around tonight. Dreamer agrees, the two shake hands, and walk off opposite ways.::Vampiro pinned Tyler Reks with the Vampiro Spike in 6:00. Rating: ** 3/4 Match Notes: Reks' success didn't last long, unless you want to call it a success by not being hurt by Vampiro like Shane Douglas was last week. This was also the first time Vampiro has wrestled solo away from his partner Gangrel.::There is a crowd of people in the backstage area when the cameras roll up. You hear somone yell to get the EMT. As the camera man gets closer and some of the crowd moves out of the way, we see Michael McGillcutty laid out on the concrete bleeding from his forehead visibly shaken up on the ground. The EMT gets on scene and checks him out and then calls over the radio they need assistance to get him checked out. Standing there is the GM and he asks how serious it is. EMT tells him no way he is competing tonight. The GM storms off while the EMT tends back to McGillicutty.::DH Smith pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Saito Suplex in 7:19. Rating: ** Match Notes: This was just a match of respect with DH Smith picking up the win on Dreamer. After the match, The British Bulldog's music hit and it stopped DH Smith dead in his tracks. Wade Barrett then appeared at the top of the ramp mocking DH Smith as we go to commercial.::Back from commercial, The GM comes out and says that McGillicutty was brutally attacked, but that the show must go on, and he will still allow Nash and McIntyre to have their match for the title tonight and says that it's up next.::Match for the vacant ACW World Title:Drew McIntyre defeated Kevin Nash by DQ in 8:57. Rating: ** 1/4 (The ACW World Title remained vacant.) Match Notes: Drew McIntyre was sticking it Nash good staying mostly in control of the match when all of a sudden a masked individual dressed in a long black sleeve shirt and jeans jumped McIntyre as he was getting to hit Nash with the Future Shock. He then took off through the crowd before anyone could contain him.
Card Rating: ** 1/4

Well it's on indefinite hold until either...
A: I can get TNM to start working again on DosBox B: Carlzilla's replacement SIM comes out
I use TNM at work so, I can't install VMWare and everything runs way too slow if I use Teamviewer to log-in into my home CPU. I don't have enough time at home to screw around with TNM.
