A few notes about the AWE before I start posting "in character" type things.
* It's based around the year 1990, but no real "true-to-life" dates are followed. Meaning I will generally stick with wrestlers from around the time period I'm in, but if someone dies, retires, debuts, etc. on a real life date, they don't have to do the same in the AWE. Sometimes things will be off by a few years, for example, in 1990 I'm already using Money Inc.
* AWE has 2 weekly taped TV programs: AWE Wrestling Stars (Saturdays) and AWE Championship Wrestling (Sundays). In reality they would be taped in large chunks, with one event being split into 2 or 3 episodes. However, for the sake of sanity, I'm splitting them up in TNM.
* AWE runs between 3-5 house shows every week. For the sake of brevity, I'm just going to book one "AWE House Show Circuit" card every week. Assume the results won't change much between house shows for the week.
*AWE has 4 PPVs: Title Royale (in March), WrestleBrawl (in June), Crowning Achievement (in September), and Winter Wars (in December).
* AWE has 4 Prime Time Live TV slots throughout the year on the NBC network. These are unimaginatively called AWE Prime Time. They happen in January, April, July, and October.
* AWE goes overseas (or sometimes just out of the country) 4 times a year. These happen in the months that don't have a PPV or a Prime Time episode (February, May, August, and November).
* I'm running AWE as a mixture of booked and unbooked. I will book storylines how I want them to go, but I will not be booking the outcome of non-storyline matches, or even storyline matches that I could work with either way.
* AWE isn't meant to compete with WWF, WCW, the NWA, or any other wrestling federation. Assume that AWE exists in it's own universe, where none of those exist. Only the AWE.
* Unlike other wrestling promotions in the real world, the AWE vacates it's world title every year to be crowned at Title Royale, a 30 man, pinfall and submission battle royal with staggered entry times. The former champion will ALWAYS be the last person to enter, giving them a better chance at winning, but not guaranteeing it.
* The current AWE champions as I am handed the book are as follows: AWE TV Champion: Paul Orndorff AWE Tag Team Champions: Demolition AWE North American Champion: Rick Martel AWE World Champion: vacant

He did so last week in Springfield MA, when he blasted Hogan with some sort of foriegn object at one of our live events. He then came on to Mean Gene TV and called Hogan out. He entered the Title Royale, not to win the title, he said, but to make sure that Hogan doesn't. - AWE officials are fining "Dr. D" David Schultz 500 dollars and ordering him to make a public appology next week on Wrestling Stars for attacking a camera man on his way back to the locker room after Championship Wrestling had gone off the air.
