So I figured I'd post these here, so that along the way, you could see how things are progressing, and what things look like.
This is not run with TNM for those of you who are unware, but with the sim I'm developing called Application of Wrestling Excellence.
I've so far got an entire month worth of cards run.

One thing that sort of bugs me, and it is no big deal, but could you make the singles match use "defeated" like the tag team match.
In other words, in the singles match it says "Ric Flair defeats Hulk Hogan" and in a tag match it says "The Beverly Brothers defeated The Steiner Brothers"...I like the use of defeated there since it is the past. Just a small nitpick.

Are you having any luck with varying match ratings? It could just be the workers involved, but almost every single match is * 1/2 to ***. Don't know if that's just coincidence or if the program is averaging out, if that makes sense.
|
|
|
Post by Carlzilla on Jul 20, 2013 14:30:39 GMT -5
It's the workers involved. Like in real life (and unlike TNM), the quality of their matches will not vary wildly. They will average out.
If you stick Bret Hart and Ric Flair in there for 30 minutes, you'll get a much better rating.
Also, there's no heat yet, so ratings are entirely based on the wrestlers in-ring performances and stats.

Yeah. The match ratings look accurate so far. Could you do some short, medium and long matches with all good wrestlers, all bad wrestlers, and then one of each? Really test it out?
