Just downloaded the game a few hours ago and have been toying with it. I'm just doing a quick trial run, and I'm noticing a big problem...regardless of how I edit the wrestlers ratings (push and stamina, mainly), the outcomes seem truly random, with VERY little impact of the ratings, if any. For instance, I had a push 30 guy beat a push 90 guy 8 times in a row. Now granted, over the 30 or so matches I did between them the 90 guy had some streaks too, but if he won more than the 30 it was pretty insignificant. I would think a 30 should only beat a 90 once or twice TOTAL in 30 matches, if that! In addition, I did an 8 man tourney and the guy with the lowest push won the tournament (Brad Armstrong). Several others were in the 80's and 90's (and in fact Bruiser Brody was in and had push 100).
I should point out that I was using primarily tournament mode, so maybe that had something to do with it? But I wouldn't think there should be a difference whether it's a singles match or a tournament.
So I guess my biggest question is, what ratings should I edit to affect the outcome of matches the most?
Another thing I was looking for is any type of rating to do with how often a wrestler is in bloody matches. Guys like Abdullah, Flair, Dusty, Bruiser Brody, and Tully Blanchard it seemed were in tons of bloody wars. But I didn't see any indicators that any wrestler is more or less prone to bleed. On that same note, is blood more likely in a cage match or any other kind of match?
My plan for my circuit is to create custom wrestlers...any tips on that? It seems to me the quickest and easiest method might be clone an existing wrestler that is similar to the one I want to create, and then make the necessary changes from there. To that end, I have some ninja/martial arts type fighters I want to create, can you recommend any wrestlers they would be good to be based on?
