Some of the names mentioned thus far are Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, and Jeff Hardy. I'm not sure with Hardy's legal troubles if he would even be allowed to go to Mexico. More Details on MTV's AAA/Lucha Libre Show Last weekend a few more details were revealed about MTV's new Lucha Libre series coming this summer. Cookie Jar Ent. (I reported on Cookie Jar & AAA's licensing deal last year: click here) brokered the deal with MTV to bring Lucha Libre to America. The article posted on worldscreen.com mentioned that 52 weeks of the new "Lucha Libre USA" show will be brought to MTV2 and MTV Tr3s and also a documentary called "Behind The Mask" which will study the history of Lucha Libre will be shown. So.... Wrestling Society X in a six sided ring? I have been watching AAA on Galavision, and I have noticed that they will change rings from time to time. Also, so far, I haven't seen any exploding beds of nails, or an electrified shark tank, or ten tables stacked up with Pace Salsa. ;D
