With all the rumored matches for WrestleMania 30 that have been swirling around since the summer, I sat back and thought about just how that show could be built as 1 of, if not the biggest & greatest WrestleMania of all time. I am going to highlight several wrestlers paths to the "Showcase of the Immortals" in different posts, with just key matches along the way. Kind of like how a WWE video game would have you play thru, but, in the end you get to see the entire show. The timeline for this thread will begin the Monday Night Raw after the Hell In A Cell PPV. It will be more writing intensive & less match driven, so be ready to read a lot of promos & storylines. Some roads will be shorter than others as they intersect. But this should all come together for 8 matches at WrestleMania 30.

DANIEL BRYAN pt 1
The night after the Hell In A Cell PPV, Raw opens the same as what was really shown on TV with Shawn Michaels explaining his actions at the end of the Daniel Bryan/Randy Orton match, complete with Bryan interrupting & attacking Michaels. The end of Raw is The Authority leading Randy Orton's celebration ceremony. As Orton stand gloating, Bryan's music hits & he comes out with his own microphone. Bryan tells The Authority that it's amazing to him that the first time he won the WWE Title, a special referee screwed him out of it. The second time he won the WWE Title, a crooked referee forced the title to be stripped from him. And now another special referee made sure he was screwed one more time. Bryan tells The Authority that everybody in the world knows that he, not Randy Orton, should be the WWE Champion. He continues by telling them that the only reason he isn't is that they are afraid of him because he is a wrestler, not just an entertainer. Bryan then issues a challenge for Survivor Series, but, before Orton as a chance to accept, Triple H tells Bryan that he has had enough free shots at becoming WWE Champion & if he wants another opportunity, he will have to earn it. Triple H tells Bryan that the best way for him to earn another chance is to participate in a traditional 4 on 4 Survivor Series match. To make it fair, Triple H tells Bryan that his team will be made up of some others that The Authority has been having problems with as of late: Dolph Ziggler & the WWE Tag Team Champions: Cody Rhodes & Goldust. Their opponents will be made up of the WWE Champion: Randy Orton & The Shield. Triple H adds afew stipulations to the match, telling Bryan that the only way he can earn another shot at the WWE Title is to not only survive the match, but, he has to be the one that eliminates Randy Orton.
4 on 4 Elimination Match: Goldust, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan beat Randy Orton and The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) 4 falls to 3: x Goldust beat Rollins via the Final Cut in 0:07:13 x Reigns beat C. Rhodes via the Spear in 0:12:43 x Reigns beat Goldust via the Spear in 0:19:23 x Ziggler beat Reigns via the Zig Zag in 0:23:02 x Ambrose beat Ziggler via the Face Crusher in 0:23:54 x Bryan beat Ambrose via disqualification in 0:27:15 x Bryan beat Orton via the Yes Lock in 0:29:03 Survivor: Daniel Bryan Rating: ***3/4
The match comes down to Ziggler & Bryan versus Reigns, Ambrose &Orton. Ziggler picked up a surprise elimination on Reigns after a missed spear. Ambrose quickly jumped Ziggler from behind to end the Show Off's night. That leaves Daniel Bryan to face the United States Champion and the WWE Champion alone. Bryan & Ambrose trade high impact kicks & chops, with Bryan getting the better of it. Just as Bryan looked to be ready to put Ambrose away, Reigns & Rollins rush back to the in & attack Bryan causing an immediate disqualification. The Shield beat down Bryan as officials try & regain control. The Hounds of Justice deliver the Triple Power Bomb to Bryan just as Triple H comes to ringside & calls them off. As Triple H escorts The Shield to the back, Randy Orton stalks the prone Bryan with a sadistic smile on his face. Orton does not go for the pin, but, instead he drops down calling for the RKO. Bryan gets up groggy from the beating he just took. Orton grabs Bryan for an RKO, but, before he can hit it, Bryan reverses the move & drags Orton to the mat. Bryan locks on the Yes Lock in the center of the ring, leaving Orton no where to go & with no other option but to tap out. The crowd erupts into a "Yes" chant as Bryan celebrates.
The next night on Raw, Daniel Bryan comes to the ring to open the show. As he approaches the ring, the crowd is even louder than the night before with their "Yes" chants. Bryan gets the crowd to quiet down &reminds everyone that he was able to overcome the odds & earn himself another shot at the WWE Championship. He added that in the last 24 hours, he thought hard about just how he could get fair chance at the gold. And then it came to him: no special referees, no crooked officials, no count outs, no disqualifications, no where to run, no where to hide. At the next Pay Per View it will be Daniel Bryan versus Randy Orton, 1 on 1 for the WWE Title in a TLC MATCH! Bryan then promises that he will win the WWE Title & leads the crowd in another round of "Yes" chants.
