When's the right time to hire new talent?

ANYWAY... I just started a new fed, and I'm running it under contract rules for the first time in, like, ever. I've got 22 people under contract, and I'm 24 cards in. It's a fantasy league, so I only really had two or three established tag teams to start. I've managed to piece together six, which I think is enough to introduce a set of Tag Team Titles, but I'd like to get some new people hired to bolster the division. Only problem is, not many people wanna work for me yet.

What achievements/triggers/conditions need to be met that will get other wrestlers interested in working for me?

Surprised you're having trouble hiring people with only 22 under contract; I thought it usually didn't become difficult until close to 30... Roster size is definitely a big consideration but I'm not sure what else.

How, exactly, does TNM determine a main event/big name star? I've noticed that some of the fantasy wrestlers will work for me now, and some won't.

I would imagine Work Rate and Push would be the major contributing factors there.

I believe the first 20 wrestlers are guaranteed to want to sign with you. From there, I think it's part to do with their stats.

I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't have something to do with your roster itself. Like you'd have trouble hiring a heel if you already have a ton of heels under contract.

It's strange. Everyone in this install (aside from jobbers) share the same states: 100 across the board. I like to favor better matches over realism, and keep the winners mostly random unless I'm booking an angle.

Now, like I said earlier, some of the wrestlers WILL work for me, and some of the others won't. Makes me think it's more random than keyed into specific stat settings.

I believe stats may play a factor, but I'm sure there is a random element at play as well.

Or, Oliver is actually in a dark room somewhere hunched over a handful of computers telling all your database not to sign with you.
