Recap for this past Sunday, with Harry Harris winnning his third NAWA World Championship through dubious means, aligning with Kurt Angle and Larry Sweeney form an unholy alliance. Harry Harris has sold out to Sweeney to capture the NAWA World Title after spending the better part of a year fighting Sweeney and his goons. Why, why did Harry Harris do it? Was the NAWA World Championship really worth this much? We'll find out why Harry Harris sold out tonight, as the new NAWA World Champion is in the building, as is the former champion Teddy Hart are both in the building. Plus the number one contender for the NAWA World Champion Miles Stylish takes on the Gambler. Lost in all of this is that Stylish will be getting the next title shot and tonight he faces a man who he knows really well.

Danielson has his sights set on Skyhawk and the NAWA Television Championship.

We are backstage with Teddy Hart who for the first time in almost eight months is without the NAWA World Championship. Hart makes his way down to the ring and he is walking with a purpose. We're going to see what happens right after this.
[COMERCIAL]
Teddy Hart storms to the ring, no music, dressed in his street shoes. He demands a microphone and states that last Sunday, he was having a one on one match with Harry Harris when suddenly he saw Larry Sweeney and Kurt Angle come out from the back. The next thing he knew, he was flat on his back and no longer the NAWA World Champion. Hart says that he watched the replay since last Sunday and he had to watch it a few times because he couldn't believe what he saw.
Unfamiliar opera music comes out and all of the lights in the arena go out. There is a spotlight on the ramp and the fans are buzzing, booing. The lights are completely out other than the spotlight that's on the ramp. When the lights come back on, Teddy Hart is surrounded by the Rottweilers and Ron Killings. The fans are really booing and Hart attacks Killings, dropkicking him down but Homicide nails him in the side of the head with the blackjack! Hart goes down to the canvas and Low Ki goes to the top rope as Killings and Homicide holds Hart down. FLYING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE RIBS! Hart's ribs crack but they are not done.
The Rottweilers hold Hart up and Killings has the white glove on. He assaults Hart with this loaded glove, punching him with a series of closed fisted punches. Killings hits the axe kick to Hart. Low Ki hits another double stomp to the back of the head and Homicide has Hart up. Gringo Killa brings the former NAWA World Champion down and they throw Hart over the ropes onto the hard floor!
Killings is pulling back the mats and Hart can't defend himself, the concrete is exposed.
The spotlight comes back on and the lights go back out. The opera music kicks up and the fans are booing. Larry Sweeney introduces the man who built this company from the ground up, the man who is his hand selected NAWA World Champion. Out comes Harry Harris but he looks very different. His blonde hair is cut into a neat hair cut. He is wearing a pair of thick glasses and he is wearing a suit. The NAWA World Title Belt is draped neatly over his shoulder. The champion walks to the ring and we see a nice look at what appear to be alligator skin shoes. Harris hands Sweeney the NAWA World Championship Belt and the announcers remark how that's a brand new belt and sure enough it is.
Harris grabs Hart and has him on the floor. He is going to piledrive him right on the concrete floor but Harris pauses, maybe he's having second thoughts, maybe he isn't completely evil.
Then, Harris grabs Hart and hoists him up onto the steel steps. OH GOD, NO! HARRIS MURDERS HART WITH A PILEDRIVER ON THE STEEL RING STEPS!
There is a loud thump and Hart's broken body slides down the steps. Harris now looks at Hart's broken body and now he looks satisfied. Harris crippled Teddy Hart and now he slides into the ring, Paramedics are out and Sweeney looks amused. Awesome Kong, the NAWA Women's Champion, and Kurt Angle make their way into the ring.
Teddy Hart is being strapped onto a backboard and he's being loaded onto a gourney. He could be paralyzed but Harry Harris shows no remorse, no empathy.
Harris calmly grabs the microphone, stating that this is the first and only notice to everyone in the back that they better show their champion the proper respect. The NAWA World Champion states that they have been asking the same exact thing for five days. They've wondered why Harry Harris did what he did.
Harris states two years ago, he was the NAWA World Champion, he was on the top of the world. The only thing that could beat him was not a single wrestler in the back but a flaw in his own body, a freak accident, something that never happened before or never happened again. He spent two years watching others walk around with his belt. He had a brand new NAWA World Title Belt made, a belt that's better than the old belt because he's better than them all.
Harris states that he's beaten them all numerous times. Stack every single competitor of note in the past five years and Harry Harris has beaten them at one time or another. And the fans...they don't mean anything to him. Harris says that the NAWA World Championship is the only thing that matters and he is the Elite of the company, just like these other men and one woman in the ring are the Elite.
Kurt Angle picks up when Harris invites him to, saying that he came into this company and was disrespected by the fans. He wants one thing and at the end of the day, it will be Harry Harris and Kurt Angle for the NAWA World Title when the smoke clears but they've made a pack to work together to thin out those who aren't worthy.
Harris states that there's no one in the back that could stop him. He built this company, he is this company, he is the most unstoppable force in this company. The fans started to chant "JOE'S GOING TO KILL YOU!" Harris states that he stopped him as well but the chances get even louder. Sweeney freaks out, yelling that match isn't going to happen ever again. Harris says that Samoa Joe is not at his level, the only reason why he stayed undefeated for almost two years was because Harry Harris was not around.
Harris states that there's not a single person in the back that is his equal and he states that the only thing that will take this title away from him is another fluke injury and Harris states that he'll destroy all of their heroes just like he destroyed Teddy Hart.
Sweeney announces as well that Samoa Joe is forbidden to touch or come near Harry Harris outside of a sanctioned match. If he does, he's fired and he'll be thrown in prison as well. Harris holds up the belt, his NAWA World Championship Belt, taunting the crowd.
We cut backstage, where Samoa Joe is walking around like a caged animal. Dan Marion tries to get some words for Joe but Joe says that he knew Harris and Sweeney were in this the entire time and in the end, he will get his hands on Harris one way or another. Harris can't hide forever and sooner or later, he's going to have to put his money where his mouth is and his title on the line against Samoa Joe.

As for AJ Styles, Sweeney is going to give him an opportunity tonight, the best pound for pound wrestler in this company to never hold a title is going to get a chance to beat the man who has only lost once in this company, to the NAWA World Champion, no shame in that, that being Samoa Joe. Sweeney tells Styles that if he proves himself against Joe, big things will happen. (Tyler Black retained the NAWA Cruiserweight Title.)
Homicide is pissed but Black has escaped with the title. Tyler Black holds up the NAWA Cruiserweight Title, despite a match against Morishima, despite a pre-match attack, Homicide spent a bit too much time degrading Black and that cost him big time.

He couldn't defeat Larry Sweeney head on, because he's going to tear the machine down from the insane. Angle was in on it, so was Teddy Hart. He says that he's going to buy the two of them a beer, just like old time's sake. Brother Ray isn't buying it but Devon tells him to chill. Team 3D didn't see what happened earlier tonight due to arriving to the arena late, only the events of last Sunday night.
Harris leads them down to the hallway with a smile on his face. LOW KI KICKS BROTHER RAY IN THE FACE AS HE WALKS AROUND THE CORNER! Kurt Angle and Ron Killings join in helping this attack on Devon. Homicide and Takeshi Morishima are now backstage and this five against two beatdown consences. Brother Ray is given the Angle Slam on the concrete and Harris kneedrops him in the groin, causing him pain.
Devon is taken out back and beaten, stomped. They have a car door open and Homicide slams the car door on Devon's arm. Devon's arm might be broken.
Harris grabs Brother Ray and hurls him through the windshield! He goes face first and is cut open. Blood is spurting everywhere.
Harris tells security to throw them out back with the rest of the trash because he's done with them. Brother Ray curses, yelling obsentities at Harris, screaming about glass in his eye. Larry Sweeney laughs, saying that he never liked Team 3D anyway.
Paramedics are out, after already taking Teddy Hart to the hospital, Team 3D will be joining him. They came back from Japan to be put on the injured reserve list.
We cut elsewhere backstage, where the number one contender for the NAWA World Champion Miles Stylish is watching this scene on a monitor. Dan Marion gets a few words with Stylish or tries to, but Stylish refuses to answer all questions about what he thinks about this unholy alliance between Harry Harris, Larry Sweeney, and Kurt Angle or the fact that he has a match with the Gambler, a man who beat him back at Blinded by Fury. Stylish gets out and walks out without another word but an aide states that he is to go to Larry Sweeney's office ASAP for an important meeting. Stylish leaves and we wonder what that's all about.
[COMMERCIAL]

HOMICIDE ATTACKS SABIN FROM BEHIND WITH ONE OF THE NAWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE BELTS! Low Ki enters the ring and stomps on Shelley's downed body. Ron Killings is in the ring and they are beating the Motor City Machine Guns. Sabin gets a Koppo Kick in the corner and Shelley gets lariated to death. Mia Stylish, Team 3D, Teddy Hart, and now the Motor City Machine Guns, the body count is getting higher with each passing moment on this show.
AJ Styles is walking backstage as is Samoa Joe. One on one, two men who know each other very well, it's AJ Styles taking on Samoa Joe and that match is next, one half of a double main event tonight on Glory!
[COMMERCIAL]

Joe counters the figure-four leglock by turning the hold the other way. Joe beats on Styles and Cannonball Bomb nearly spells the end for Styles. Styles applies a sleeperhold to try and take Joe out but Joe counters with a high angle backdrop. Styles escapes the Cross Face and counters a Death Valley Driver with a sunset. He tries to go for the Styles Clash but Joe is just a bit too big and Joe counters with a vicious Huracarana, spiking Styles on his head. Kokina Clutch is avoided as Styles has that move well scouted. Both men go back and forth for a count more minutes, with Styles frustrating Joe with a few more nearfalls than the Samoan Submission Machine would have liked. Neck snap on the ropes and Styles goes up taught. Gets caught and Muscle Buster scores the pin! Joe has defeated Styles but Styles was determined to make an impact tonight!
Samoa Joe pinned AJ Styles after a Muscle Buster in 0:10:36.
Rating: ****
Joe is standing in the ring and out come the Rottweilers and Ron Killings. They enter the ring but Joe fights them off once again. The fans are exploding into cheers as Samoa Joe is fighting back against these three thugs of the NAWA World Champion. AJ Styles is up and he's assistating Samoa Joe, fighting side by side with him. The Elite runs off to the back and Joe and Styles are now in the ring. Styles and Joe stare each other down, as the announcers hint that they might be revisiting this little bout in the future as Styles came thisclose to defeating Samoa Joe tonight on Glory.
Larry Sweeney meets Samoa Joe and AJ Styles with security and states that the two of them can leave the building because their match is over and they have no real business being back here. Joe looks like he's considering taking down twenty security guards but he nods, saying that he'll see both Sweeney and the champion really soon and he promises to choke out Harry Harris the next time they get into the ring. Sweeney gets on a cell phone, stating that he's going to need someone to take care of Samoa Joe before he becomes a problem. We don't know quite what that's about but perhaps we'll find out in the coming weeks.
Coming Up Next, the Gambler is walking to the ring. He's got a match with Miles Stylish who we have not seen since he was summoned to Larry Sweeney's office, more Glory after this time out.
[COMMERCIAL]
Main event time but we've got a problem. As the Gambler is in the ring "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top plays but we have no Miles Stylish. It plays all the way through and the ring announcer, the referee, and the Gambler are all confused.
The Gambler is on the microphone, saying that it's just as well, as he has something to get off his chest. Since Miles Stylish is not here, he has to talk about a man who shocked the world last Sunday night and sold out to become the NAWA World Champion once again. The Gambler says that since he doesn't apparently have a match, he wants to call out Harry Harris tonight. He's seen what's happened to everyone else in the back but it stops right now. The Gambler talks about how he's fought all of the super groups in the NAWA, the Dead Pool, The Archangels of Anarchy, and the Triumvirate, and none of them are around but he is, because he's a survivor.
Harry Harris appears on the big screen and says that he's insulted that the Gambler is even mentioned in the same breath and wrestles in the same ring that he is. The Gambler seems to have gotten this misconception in his head that he's a potential main event competitor and they talk about how this year is the Gambler's last year, his last chance to become the NAWA World Champion. Harris states that he's going to buy the Gambler a gold wach because tonight will be his waterloo because while Miles Stylish has left the building, there is someone in the back who will take out the Gambler and that's Kurt Angle. Harris states that Angle is a wrecking machine and he'll end the biggest farce the company ever has seen right now.
The Gambler vs. Kurt Angle
The Gambler tries to take down Kurt Angle but Angle knees him in the face several times. Angle is preparing to deliver a public excution of the Gambler, nailing him with a series of suplexes and strikes. The Gambler's body is thrown around like a ragdoll and the Angle Slam takes him down. Angle hits a second Angle Slam and a third Angle Slam. Kurt Angle grabs the leg and turns him over into the Ankle Lock! The Gambler isn't even conscious but Angle lets the hold go, before the referee can call for the bell and end the Gambler's torment. Angle takes the Gambler over by the ringpost and folds his leg over the ringpost in succession. Angle ignores the referee's five count and he's disqualified for the excessive brutality!
The Gambler defeated Kurt Angle by disqualification in 0:05:05.
Rating: * 3/4
The NAWA World Champion Harry Harris is out and he stands over the Gambler, standing on his throat. This allows Angle to grab a steel chair. There's no one left to save the Gambler. Harris leaves the ring and grabs a steel chair of his own. HARRIS AND ANGLE TAKE TURNS DESTROYING THE GAMBLER'S KNEE AND ANKLE WITH A CHAIR! The Gambler lost seven monthos of his career to a knee injure and they're reaggrevating it.
Harris takes the NAWA World Championship Belt and kneels on the Gambler's chest like a conquering warrior. He is handed a microphone, stating that one by one, their heroes have fallen tonight. And more will continue to fall. He tells Stylish that if he doesn't do the right thing, that will be his fate on April 23rd at Wildfire. We fade to black on this note.

Stylish gets out and walks out without another word but an aide states that he is to go to Larry Sweeney's office ASAP for an important meeting. Stylish leaves and we wonder what that's all about.
