Tonight a new era begins in wrestling, a new champion will be crowned. But, before one man can walk away on top, he must survive a trip through the proving ground to show he is the leader of the New Revolution. A hype video plays to "Set The World On Fire" by Slash featuring Miles Kennedy and the Conspiritors.
5-Man Battle Royal: Samoa Joe won a 5-man Battle Royal: x Joe defeated D. H. Smith after a senton in 0:04:34 x Joe defeated G-Fed after a senton in 0:10:43 x Slater defeated Steamboat after an inverted DDT in 0:14:26 x Joe defeated Slater after the Coquina Clutch in 0:15:15 Rating: ***3/4
After the match backstage, Kris Kloss stops Samoa Joe as he heads to the dressing room. KK: Samoa Joe, you are the first man to qualify for tonight's main event. Do you have any predictions for the rest of the night. (Joe gives her a sour look.) Umm anything at all? SJ: You want a prediction? My prediction for anyone that gets in the ring with me later is pain. And lots of it.(Joe walks off.)
5-Man Battle Royal: Austin Aries won a 5-man Battle Royal: x Viktor defeated Kidd after a superkick in 0:01:35 x Benjamin defeated Ryder after the Paydirt in 0:10:46 x Benjamin defeated Viktor after a powerslam in 0:20:18 x Aries defeated Benjamin after the Brain Buster in 0:23:59 Rating: ****1/4
Aries is stopped on his way backstage by Kris Kloss. KK: Austin Aries, with that inpressive victory, you move to tonight's main event. AA: What else did you expect? I've been a champion many times over, and tonight, here in EWR, it'll be no different. I'm not worried about guys like Dolph Ziggler, I wasn't worried about Shelton Benjamon, I'm not even worried about Samoa Joe. I'm going to take that title tonight, and then it's just the matter of who the flavor of the month is that the powers that be line up for me to beat. The reason for my confidence is simple: because I'm the greatest man on the face of the Earth. (Aries leaves.)
5-Man Battle Royal: Dolph Ziggler won a 5-man Battle Royal: x Mack defeated Godderz after a backslide in 0:09:37 x Mack defeated Striker after a powerslam in 0:11:19 x C-Fed defeated Mack after the F Bomb in 0:19:50 x Ziggler defeated C-Fed after the Zig Zag in 0:21:36 Rating: ****
Kris Kloss steps out onto the runway. KK: After tonight we will have crowned the first Extreme Wrestling Revolution Heavyweight Champion. And next week, we will crown new EWR Tag Team Champions in a 4 team single elimination tournament. In the first round, The BroMans will take on Fed Up and the team of The Ascension will face The Hart Dynasty. The winners of those 2 matches will meet in next week's main event for the gold. (as the crowd cheers for the announcement, Kloss walks off)
5-Man Battle Royal: Chris Hero won a 5-man Battle Royal: x Robbie E defeated Ryan after a facebuster in 0:12:38 x Hero defeated Konnor after the Hero's Welcome in 0:14:04 x Hero defeated Robbie E after the Hero's Welcome in 0:17:42 x Hero defeated Axel after a rolling elbowsmash in 0:18:42 Rating: *****
Hero doesn't leave the ring after his victory. Instead he grabs the announcers microphone. CH: You know,I've been around the block a time or 2, & everyone knows how this is going to play out. I talk loud & have a big mouth, but, I back it all up. So, how about we cut through all the crap & get the other 3 guys out here. That way, it's just that much sooner to the crowning of the first EWR World Heavyweight Champion!
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Four Corners Match for the vacant RCW World Title: Samoa Joe defeated Austin Aries, Dolph Ziggler and Chris Hero when Joe made Hero submit to the Coquina Clutch in 0:20:52. Rating: ***3/4 (Samoa Joe won the EWR World Title.)
Card rating: **** 1/4
Match observations: Samoa Joe captures the EWR Title by forcing Chris Hero to tap out while Dolph Ziggler & Austin Aries did battle on the outside. With his track record as a champion, you have to wonder if a long reign is ahead of the new champ. Or will the inpending challenges from talent like Hero, Aries, Ziggler and others be too much for the mighty Samoan?
It was announced next week that a 4 team tournament will be held for the EWR Tag Team Title. Can the young team of Fed Up upset the more well known BroMans? Can the Canadian duo of The Hart Dynasty add to their family's legacy and get past the promising combination of The Ascension? Just who will win the gold? Find out next week.

Really intriguing roster you have here. Would you mind posting it in full? Not entirely sure who everybody is by their abbreviated names.
I'm not familiar with Fed Up - who are they?

Fed Up are a tag team from Maryland that I know. They are kind of like Public Enemy with their white boy/hood gimmick.

The show opens with footage of Samoa Joe winning the EWR World Heavyweight TItle. Followed by the announcement of tonight's EWW Tag Team Title Tournament.
EWR Tag Team Title Tournament Round 1: The BroMans (Jesse Godderz and Robbie E) defeated Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) when Robbie pinned G-Fed with the Cutter in 0:13:41. Rating: *** 1/4
Kris Kloss is standing in the ring. KK: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the NEW Extreme Wrestling Revolution World Heavyweight Champion: Samoa Joe! (the crowd breaks into a mixed reaction as Joe's music plays & he makes his way to the ring) Joe steps into the ring and gives Kloss a sour look. KK: Samoa Joe last week you first out lasted 4 other men to get to the main event & then you forced Chris Hero to tap out to your Cokina Clutch. So the world is wondering just what's next? (Joe again just looks at him) I mean is there anyone that you think stands a chance against you? Just then Chris Hero's music plays as he steps out onto the runway with a microphone. CH: I'll tell you just who stands a chance. I do. (he steps into the ring and stands face to face with Joe) Last week, I'll admit, I tapped out. But, that's just because I had taken a beating from the other 2 guys for about 10 minutes & you came in while I was down. You know one on one that I will give you all you can handle & push you to your limits. (Joe stands firm, just staring at Hero) So, I made afew phone calls before the show and guess what? It got me a shot at your gold. (Joe's eyes widen in anger) So how about we get this match on right now? (Hero drops the microphone & Joe drops his belt) Just as the 2 are about to come to blows, Austin Aries runs out from the back and attacks Hero from behind, Joe joins in on the beating. Suddenly Dolph Ziggler comes out of the crowd and chases the 2 off with a chair. As Joe & Aries start to retreat, Hero picks up the mic again. CH: You know what? I may have been granted a rematch, but, how about we put that off until next week. But, you're not off the hook for tonight. No. Tonight, how about you & Austin Aries will take on me & Dolph Ziggler in a tag team match? (Joe & Aries look at eachother and agree to the match.)
Matt Striker pinned Zack Ryder with the Golden Rule in 0:12:29. Rating: ***1/4
Backstage, The Hart Dynasty are with Kris Kloss. KK: Guys, up next you have to take on The Ascension in the 1st round of the EWR Tag Team Title Tournament. What do you think your chances are? TK: Our chances? Are you kidding? Look at us! We are more than qualified to take the gold tonight. We're gonna make quick work of those 2 wannabes & then move on to win the EWR Tag Team Title. Just look at our history. The facts speak for themselves.
EWR Tag Team Title Tournament Round 1: The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd) defeated The Ascension (Viktor and Konnor) when Kidd pinned Viktor with the Sprongboard Elbowdrop in 0:13:33. Rating: ***3/4
Kris Kloss is backstage with Curtis Axel. KK: Curtis, last week, you were very close to winning your qualifier battle royal. And this week, you are going up against Richie Steamboat. Why not throw your name into the hunt for the gold? CA: As far as the EWR title is concerned it's only a matter of time before it's around my waist. And Steamboat, you're just a speed bump along the way. It's a battle between 2 of the greatest legacies in wrestling. But you're going to be outclassed and out wrestled. You don't belong in the ring me. Tonight I'm show the world that I was raised to be the most perfect superstar in the history of this business.
Richie Steamboat defeated Curtis Axel by disqualification in 0:14:48. Rating: **1/4
Kris Kloss bumps into Fed Up backstage. C-Fed: I know you saw those 2 geeks get over on us earlier. KK: Yes, I did. What's your point? G-Fed: The point is son, those 2 fools cheated. And that crooked ref screwed us over. KK: Well, I'm sure that's your opinion... C-Fed: That's the plain fact, son. All you have to do is look at the tape. KK: Okay, I think I get it. Obviously you want me to do something about it. So, what's your plan? C-Fed: The plan is, son, that we are issuing a a challenge to whoever wins the belts later tonight. We are gonna prove to everyone that Fed Up is for real, son.
Joey Ryan defeated Heath Slater by countout in 0:13:27. Rating: *3/4
After the match: Joey Ryan celebrates in the ring & as Slater recovers. While his back is turned, Slater sneaks up to catch Ryan by surprise. Slater hit Ryan with a hard clothesline that sent him toppling over the top rope & to the floor. Ryan scrambled to his feet & tried to get back in the ring, but, officials rushed to ringside to keep the 2 seperated.
Shelton Benjamin pinned Willie Mack with the Paydirt in 0:14:13. Rating: *** 1/4
Kris Kloss is with Samoa Joe & Austin Aries. KK: Austin Aries, why in the world did you come out earlier tonight & jump Chris Hero? AA: It's real simple Kloss. While Joe & I have don't really have much in common, we respect one another. What Chris Hero did tonight, by going to the comission & begging for a rematch was totally disrespectful. If he was any kind of man he would have come out & issued the challenge to Joe's face. And as for Dolph Ziggler jumping us from out of the crowd, that is the ultimate act of disrespect. Tonight, we teach them what respect is all about.
Chris Hero and Dolph Ziggler defeated Samoa Joe and Austin Aries when Ziggler pinned Aries with the Zig Zag in 0:19:40. Rating: ***
Joey Ryan bumps into Kris Kloss backstage. JR: I know you saw what that cheating little punk, Slater did! KK: Well he did attack you from behind after you beat him by countout. Maybe next week... JR: Next week?! I want this taken care of now! No, wait. Next week will be just fine. But when I get my hands on him, I won't be held responsible for what happens.
Match for the vacant EWR World Tag Team Title: The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith) defeated The BroMans (Jesse Godderz and Robbie E)when Smith pinned Godderz with the Saito Suplex in 0:19:20. Rating: **** !/4 (The Hart Dynasty won the EWR World Tag Team Title.)
Card rating: ***1/4
Match observations:
The Hart Dynasty picked up a victory over another decorated tag team in The BroMans on their way to capturing the gold. Next week, the team that they did not face in the first round, Fed Up, will get a chance at to prove how good they are in a non-title match.
Speaking of titles, Samoa Joe will defend the EWR Title for the first time against the man defeated to capture the title, Chris Hero. With a tag team victory tonight, Hero may have momentum on his side, but, Joe is known for overcoming odds & forcing even the toughest opponents to submit.
Joey Ryan will be looking to avenge an attack from Heath Slater next week as well. Did the attack from Slater awaken a previously unknown vicious side of the usually fun loving Ryan?
Two young men with legendary familes faced off for the first time. Last week the former WWE Itercontinental Champion came up short in hs bid for the EWR Title. This week, he let his temper get the better of him, costing him yet again. What will be in store next week as the 2 face off again?
Austin Aries & Dolph Ziggler are now involved in the rivalry between Chris Hero & Samoa Joe. What parts will these two play in next week's title match?

A promo video is shown to "Warrior" by Disturbed of the upcoming matches tonight. After the video, Kris Kloss is shown in the ring to make a special announement. KK: Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to intorduce to you; the NEW Commissioner for Extreme Wrestling Revolution! He is a man synomynous with the word EXTREME! He is the 4 time ECW World Heayweight Champion. The one, the only, "THE FRANCHISE" SHANE DOUGLAS! The crowd erupts as Deep Purple's "Perfect Stangers"plays as Douglas walks to the ring. Douglas takes the microphone, with a smile on his face as the crowd chants his name. SD: CUT THE MUSIC! Make no mistake about it. The professional wrestling industry has been going through some pergatorious times. There's a whole lot of things that need to be fixed. For years I was the world's greatest wrestler in the world's toughest promotion, but now, I'm going to be the world's greatest commissioner making this the world's greatest promotion today.I said there were alot of things that needed to be fixed in professional wrestling, and it starts tonight. Because "The Fanchise" is back!`
Willie Mack vs. Matt Striker
During the match: A man in a business suit came out on the entranceway carrying a clip board. After taking afew notes he turns around and goes backstage.
Matt Striker pinned Willie Mack with the Golden Rule in 0:10:50. Rating: *** 1/4 [Titus O'Neil and Shelton Benjamin interfered against Willie Mack.]
The camera cuts backstage where Samoa Joe is shown laid out in a bloody heap. Austin Aries rushes over to check on the fallen champ. When he does not respond, Aries calls for a medic.
Joey Ryan pinned Heath Slater with the Mustache Ride in 0:12:55. Rating: ***1/4
Austin Aries barges into the new commissioner's office. AA: What are you going to do about what happened to Samoa Joe? He's getting stitched up as we speak, but, he's in no shape to compete. SD: First of all I have to find out who jumped him. AA: I think it's pretty obvious that it was Hero & Ziggler. They need to be suspended & the title match called off. SD: Oh really? Called off? I've got a better idea. If Samoa Joe can't compete tonight, you will defend the title in his place. Either that, or I'll strip him of the title & award it to Chris Hero. And then after I conclude my investigation of just who attack Joe will I take any action against them. So you go tell the champ what I said & maybe you should get ready to wrestle later just in case.
Zack Ryder pinned Jesse Godderz with the Rough Ryder in 0:12:03. Rating: * 1/4
Matt Striker, Titus O'Neil & Shelton Benjamin walk into the new commissioner's office. MS: Mr. Commissioner, last week, we got cheated out of the tag team tiplease allow me to introduce you to the next EWR Tag Team Champions. SD: Well, that's a pretty bold statement since they never even teamed together yet. MS: Well, let us prove just how much we have to offer, by giving us a match tonight. SD: Well, I suppose I could do that. I'll tell you what, you 2 head out to the ring & I'll send you some opponents. MS: Alright! Prepare to be wowwed & impressed by my new friends! SD: I better be, or else all 3 of you will pay the price for wasting my time.
Shelton Benjamin and Titus O'Neil defeated The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) when O'Neil pinned Viktor with the Clash Of The Titus in 0:13:38. Rating: ** 3/4
Footage is shown from last week's match between Richie Steamboat & Curtis Axel.
Richie Steamboat pinned Curtis Axel with the Flying Cross Body Press in 0:17:17. Rating: ***1/2
Footage is shown from last week of The Hart Dynasty beating The BroMans win the EWR Tag Team Title. After the commentary team inform everyone that Robbie E had left the promotion after a disagreement with management.
The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd) defeated Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) when Smith pinned C-Fed with the Hart Attack in 0:18:29. Rating: ****
Footage is shown of the confrontation between Samoa Joe & Chris Hero last week. And the attack Samoa Joe suffered earlier tonight. Hero is introduced & Austin Aries then comes to the ring with a microphone. AA:Well, I hate to diappoint you Chris, but, the beating you put on Samoa Joe has given him a concussion. So, it looks like your revenge will have to wait. But, don't worry, I'm here to make sure that you get what's coming to you. (Just then Samoa Joe comes out of the crowd and he hits Hero from behind with the title belt.) The referee calls for the bell starting the match.
Samoa Joe defeated Chris Hero by disqualification in 0:15:55. Rating: ****1/4 (Samoa Joe retained the EWR World Title.) [Dolph Ziggler interfered against Samoa Joe.] [Austin Aries interfered against Chris Hero.]
Card rating: *** 1/2
Match observations: Even with a concussion & stitches, Samoa Joe managed to hold onto the EWR Title. Although, Chris Hero came close afew times, Samoa Joe kept coming back. That is, until Dolph Ziggler attacked the champion with a chair causing Hero to be disqualified/
The Hart Dynasty showed everyone just why they are the EWR Tag Team Champions. What challenges await the young Canadians?
Why did Titus O'Neil & Shelton Benjamin help Matt Striker? What is the connection that the trio shares? Hopefully we will get some answers next week.
Robbie E's sudden departure has left Jesse Godderz on his own. Can "Mr. Pectacular" become a breakout singles star?
Curtis Axel wanted to prove a point about whose family was better tonight. Unfortunately he let frustration get the better of him & it cost him the victory. Can he keep his composure next week he tries for revenge against Steamboat one more time?
And just who was the mystery man that appeared during the Striker/Willie Mack match? Will he be back next week?
Next week: Samoa Joe will attempt to take out some frustration on Dolph Ziggler in another defense of the EWR Title.
Plus more!

The show opens with a highlight video of the chaotic ending to last week's main event, right before we head to the ring for the opening match.
Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) defeated The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) when G-Fed pinned Viktor with the Spinebuster Bomb in 0:14:48. Rating: *** 1/2
Kris Kloss is backstage with Chris Hero. KK: Chris, last week, you came so close to becoming the new EWR Champion.... CH: That's right, rub it in. If it wasn't for Austin Aries, I would've had Samoa Joe's shoulders down for a 3 count. Now, it's my partner's turn to go after the gold that I came within a inches of winning. You know, if I was a bitter man, I'd probably do something to stop him from competing tonight. Or maybe I would do something to keep him from winning the title. (a strange look comes over his face) But, I'm not a bitter man. I'm just a man that's willing to do whatever it takes to get what I want.
Willie Mack vs. Jesse Godderz
During the match: The same man that appeared last week comes out onto the runway. He watches the match for a few minutes & makes notes on his clip board. Just before Mack hits his finisher he turns and leaves.
Willie Mack pinned Jesse Godderz with the Chocolate Thunder Bomb in 0:15:58. Rating: ** 3/4
Heath Slater walks into Commissioner Douglas' office. HS: Mr. Douglas, I think it's time that you give me a fair shake here. It's time that Heath Slater got a shot at a title. SD: You know something Heath, I never liked you. And you coming in here to make demands, has just made it that much worse. But, it would seem that the best way to ease my pain is with the possibilty of getting rid of you. So, I'm making a match: No Dq, No countout, Falls Count Anywhere, Hardcore rules. And since you're so keen on being in the ring with a champion, you're going to face 1/2 of the current EWR Tag Team Champions. If you lose, you are fired. If you manage to win, you can keep your job. Oh yeah, and that match, is right now. So get out.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Heath Slater pinned David Hart Smith after a backslide in 0:18:18. Rating: ** 3/4
Curtis Axel is with Kris Kloss Backstage. KK: Curtis last week you lost your cool & it cost you against Richie Steamboat. Now tonight, you have to face him one more time... CA: Really Kris? That's all you have to say? I've got to face Steamboat again? Last week, it wasn't about me getting a win. It was about sending a message. A message to Steamboat for his disrespect about whose family will leave a greater mark on this business. A message to the Commissioner as a warning of what I am willing to do on my way to the EWR World Title. And a message to the fans that dare to not cheer for the absolute best 3rd generation superstar in the history of this business. But, back to Steamboat, you see, unlike the heralded next generation superstar, I have actually won championships. I am a former Intercontinental Champion, and multiple time tag team champion. I have actually beaten top tier superstars. Wade Barrett, Chris Jericho, John Cena, even CM Punk have all fallen by my hand. Steamboat is nothing more than a has been. No he's not even that. He's a never was. My name is Curtis Axel and I am unstoppable.
Curtis Axel pinned Richie Steamboat with the Hangman's Facebuster in 0:12:56. Rating: **3/4
After the match, Axel doesn't celebrate his victory. Instead as Steamboat recovers, Axel slides out of the ring. Axel then grabs a chair from ringside & gets back in the ring. Axel sneaks back into the ring & levels Steamboat with a chair shot across the back. As Steamboat lay in pain on the mat, Axel continues his assault with the chair. Officials run out from the back to stop the attack, but, they arrive too late as the damage is seemingly done.
As officials help Steamboat to the back, promo video plays: Highlights of matches from around the world are shown featuring someone doing very high risk moves. Words scroll across the screen over a Canadian flag: "Rebel, unique, talent, underdog" A chant of "Ol`e" is faded in over the graphic. "Next week: Sami Zayn "
Back in the ring, Matt Striker is standing in the center of the ring, flanked by Titus O'Neil & Shelton Benjamin. MS: Ladies and gentlemen, for those of you unfamiliar with my background, let me educate you. I am a man that has a Master's Degree in Psychology. I am an acredited eductaor. I have helped shape the minds of student/athletes and I have a knowlegde of professional wrestling that is rivaled by no one. So it only makes sense that I have surrounded myself with 2 of the greatest former student/athletes in collegiate history. From the University of Florida, a man that lettered in football, student body vice president and academic standout: Titus O'Neil and from the University of Minnesota, with an amateur record of 36-6, the only man to pin Brock Lesnar in amateur competition: Shelton Benjamin: my new Varsity Club!
The Varsity Club (Titus O'Neil and Shelton Benjamin) defeated Joey Ryan and Zack Ryder when Benjamin pinned Ryan with the Paydirt in 0:16:22. Rating: **3/4
Commissioner Douglas catches up with Matt Striker backstage. SD: Matt, I was pretty impressed with your performance last week. Not to mention getting Titus & Shelton to form a very tough team. You remind me of another great mind from the classroom... me. So, I've decided to put you in the ring with someone that can help showcase your talent tonight. MS: Well, it's about time. I knew you'd come around and start putting me in main events. SD: Well, I never said you'd be main eventing tonight. But, I'll cut you a deal. If you impress me again tonight, I'll think about putting you in an upcoming main event match. But, you have to do it without any help from your Varsity Club. MS: Then prepare to be impressed, because Matt Striker is ready to take over the world. SD: That's what I like to hear. Head on down to the ring & I'll have your opponent sent right out.
Tyson Kidd pinned Matt Striker with the Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:15:20. Rating: **1/2
Heath SLater is back in the commissioner's office. HS: What are you gonna do now "Mr. Commissioner"? It's not that easy to get rid of me is it? SD: I'll have to admit, you did a great job. So you can keep yours. Now, if you can get another win next week, that's called a streak. Think you're up for the challenge? HS: I can handle whatever you've got to throw at me. SD: Now, I'm sure you saw the video for our newest superstar; Sami Zayn. I want him to get the best competition possible, so next week Heath Slater, you are going to be our one man welcoming commitee. Now get out of my office before I change my mind & fire you anyway. Kris Kloss is backstage with Dolph Ziggler. KK: Dolph, tonight you get chance to take the EWR Title from Samoa Joe. Last week, you & Chris Hero were blamed for the attack that Joe suffered. Any comment? DZ: Samoa Joe & Austin Aries orchestrated the whole thing so Joe wouldn't have to defend the title. And when it backfired, it took both of them to try & beat Chris. KK: Well conspicuous by his absence this week is Austin Aries. And what about the comments made earlier by Chris Hero? DZ: Aries isn't here because he's a coward. He knows that not only would I beat him down if I faced him, but, since he almost cost Samoa Joe his title last week, that the big man would be on the warpath. As for Chris Hero, I haven't heard from him since last week. He took not winning the belt pretty hard. I mean, he had Joe pinned & Aries got involved, and then I got involved. He thought he should have won, and maybe he's right. He was so frustrated by it, that he went into hiding all week long. But, I can't focus on that right now, I've got a title to win.
Samoa Joe made Dolph Ziggler submit to the Coquina Clutch in 0:18:08. Rating: **** 3/4 (Samoa Joe retained the EWR World Title.) [Chris Hero interfered against Dolph Ziggler.] [Chris Hero interfered against Samoa Joe.]
After the match: Hero jumps into the ring & attacks Samoa Joe. Styles then locks the EWR Champ in his own hold: the Coquina Clutch. Officials try to pull him off,. but, to no effect. Ziggler is finally back to his feet & in the ring & finally pulls him off Joe. Ziggler confronts Hero about what happened & suddenly Hero levels Ziggler with a vicious clothesline. Hero then gives Ziggler the Hero's Welcome. Hero shoves the officials & finally leaves the ring with a look of rage on his face.
Card rating: *** 1/4
Match observatios:
Chris Hero has apparently snapped. Even going so far as to attack Dolph Ziggler. Will his rage cost him when & if he competes for the EWR Title in the future?
And just where was Joe's partner; Austin Aries? Why wasn't he out there to help Joe during Hero's attack?
That mysterious man appeared again tonight during Willie Mack's match with Jesse Godderz. Do these 2 have some kind of past?
Heath Slater was nearly out of a job tonight, thanks to a big mouth. But, thanks to his skill & cunning, he will remain on the roster.
Speaking of Slater, next week he will have his hands full when he takes on the debuting Sami Zayn. How will the Canadian superstar fare against the revitalized offense of the already tough "One Man Band"?
Titus O'Neil & Shelton Benjamin took on a pair of veterans that have had success in tag teams, just not with eachother. Ryder & Ryan couldn't get on the same page & the former collegiate standouts took advantage at every turn. But in the end, a seemingly quick 3 count from referee Andrew Thomas put an end to the hopes of Ryder & Ryan. With Matt Striker laying out their gameplans, O'Neil & Benjamin could be serious contenders to tag team gold soon.

This week kicks off with the same promo video of Sami Zayn that was shown last week. The only change is that it doesn't end with the words: "Next Week", this time as the video fades, Sami Zayn's music plays & he comes out onto the entrance ramp.
Sami Zayn pinned Heath Slater with the Helluva Kick in 0:11:37. Rating: ** 1/2
Samoa Joe's music plays as he & Austin Areis come to the ring. SJ: Last week, I once again walked in the EWR World Heavyweight Champion, and walked out the same way. Now I don't know what was going through Chris Hero's mind when he hit Dolph Ziggler, and frankly I don't care. What I do care about is that the one man that I should have been able to rely on wasn't there. So I've got only one question for you Austin Aries (he turns to face Aries). Where the hell were you last week when my title was in jeopardy? AA: Where was I? If memory serves correctly, I was home last week because I nearly tore the muscle off my arm in a tag match 2 weeks ago. Now if you can't beat Ziggler on your own, that's not my problem. SJ: Not your problem? If something happens that causes me to lose this title, then it's everybody's problem. AA: Two weeks ago, I basically wrestled that tag match against Hero & Ziggler alone. And I almost won. Now if you can't beat either one of them by yourself. Then maybe you don't deserve that title. SJ: Oh, and just who do you think does little man? You? AA: As a matter of fact. Just then Chris Hero charges the ring & attacks Samoa Joe. Aries jumps on Hero and pulls him off Joe. Dolph Ziggler then runs down to the ring with a chair & chases both Joe & Aries to the outside. Then he & Hero get in a shoving match as well. EWR Commissioner: Shane Douglas steps out from the back. SD: Alright, that's enough! (the arguing continues between Joe, Aries, Hero & Ziggler) I said "KNOCK IT OFF!" (all 4 turn & face the commissioner) I'm fed up with all the crap the 4 of you have been pulling. So in 3 weeks there is going to be an end to all the controversy. I'm making an every man for himself 6 man elimination match for the EWR World Heavyweight Title. And I've already got over half the names I need for it. It will be: Chris Hero vs Dolph Ziggler vs Samoa Joe vs Austin Aries. Now I know I said it will be a 6 man match, so that means that for the rest of the night every EWR superstar needs to make me stand up & take notice if they ever want to be concidered for this shot. Now as for tonight, Dolph Ziggler, you and Samoa Joe have the night off from in ring competition. But Chris Hero, since you were so anxious last week to interject yourself, you will facing a man that should healed, rested, & ready to go in the main event: Austin Aries!
The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) defeated Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) when Viktor pinned G-Fed with the Saito Suplex in 0:09:30. Rating: ***
Backstage, Willie Mack runs into the man that has been coming out during his matches. WM: So what's up man?. Now, I know you've been watching me, but, I think I've seen you some place before. What's your name? The man looks up at Mack; "Well if I look familiar, maybe it's because you've seen me around Hollywood. I'm what you would call an talent agent. My name is Phil McPhenom." WM: (looks thoughtful) Nope, I take that back, never heard of you. PM: Well that's too bad, because I've heard of you. WM: Well then Mr. McPhenom, just why have you been coming out to watch my matches? Is there something I can for you or to you? PM: It's really quite simple. Since you're so good at taking a beating, you're going to be my client's first victim in EWR. (Mack gets visibly upset) WM: Look man, Willie Mack is nobody's victim. If you're looking for competition you've come to the right guy. Just make sure whoever it is that you've got, is ready for me.
Curtis Axel is with Kris Kloss in the ring. KK: Curtis, last week... CA: (mockingly) Last week, blah, blah, blah. Last week, I showed the world just how brutal & twisted I can be. I showed everyone why officials in EWR are afraid of me. I showed everyone just who the best truly is. You don't see Steaboat wanting a rematch this week, do you? Now tonight, I have to face another never was in Zack Ryder. Zack Ryder? Really? I am the greatest 3rd generation superstar in the entire history of this business! Nobody can hold a candle to me. It's just a matter of time before I hold the EWR World Title & you are all on your knees begging for a chance to face me.
Curtis Axel pinned Zack Ryder with the Hangman's Facebuster in 0:13:42. Rating: **3/4
Willie Mack barges into Commissioner Douglas' office. WM: Who let that punk talent agent in here? SD: Ummm do you mean Mr. McPhenom? Or is there some other agent that I don't know about? WM: You knew? SD:Of course I knew. I invited him here. I'm trying to get him to sign a manager's contract here in EWR. WM: Yeah, well, he says he brought some goon with him & that he says will victimize someone tonight. SD: Again, I know. He wanted his new charge to debut against you. But, we couldn't agree on a contract. So, there's really nothing to be worried about. WM: Well, you didn't hear what he said to me in the hall.I think we should stop him before he gets started. How about you let me get in the ring with his guy and I can beat him so bad that he'll never want to come back. SD: Like I said, he didn't get a contract. He doesn't work here. So I can't sanction a match for you. WM: Then make it unsanctioned. I'll take total responsibilty if I get hurt. Just gimme that match. SD: Fine, but just remember: you asked for it. I'll find Mr. McPhenom & give him the "good" news.
Jesse Godderz pinned Joey Ryan with the Bro Down in 0:10:19. Rating: ** 1/2
Willie Mack is in the ring awaiting his opponent, when Phil McPhenom comes down with a microphone. PM: Tonight in all his "infinite wisdom", EWR Commissioner: Shane Douglas has given my newest client an "Unsanctioned" match, sight unseen. What that means to all you morons is that without even knowing who my client is, your commissioner has put him into a match in which there are basically no rules. That way the EWR can't be hald liable for what he is about to do. And Willie Mack, you may think you're some kind of big deal, but tonight, you're just in the wrong place at the wrong time... Because my client isn't just a normal man. He's not just a genetic freak. He's an F'N MACHINE! Introducing my client, from Chino, CA. Weighing in at 260 pounds, "THE MACHINE" BRIAN CAGE!
No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Brian Cage pinned Willie Mack with the F-5 in 0:07:45. Rating: **1/2 [Phil McPhenom interfered against Willie Mack.]
Phil McPhenom gets into the ring after the match. PM: That's right boo all you want but we are here for a reason. I am demanding that Brian Cage be let into the 6 man EWR Heavyweight Title Match in 3 weeks! This man doesn't wait in line for title shots. This man IS the line. Cage will not stop until he has gone through anyone & everyone to get what we came here for: the EWR Heavyweight Title!
Commissioner Douglas walks into Matt Striker's locker room. SD: Matt Striker, just the man I was looking for. You put on quite a match last week. Again I was truely impressed. You are so close to that main event spot I promised you. And tonight, we're gonna showcase that great talent again. You faced 1/2 of the tag champs last week. So up next, I've made you a non title match against the EWR Tag Team Champs. And here's your partner. (Richie Steamboat walks in) MS: (looking at Steamboat) Is this some kind of joke? You're gonna put me in the ring with "that" as my partner? Why can't I team with one of my Varsity Club? SD: Easy now Matt. If you don't want the match, I'm sure I can find someone else to give that main event spot to.(Striker turns red with anger) MS: Fine! You want to make me team with this clown, I'll do it. But, just remember who's gonna be getting that spot, and it better be soon. SD: That's all up to you Matt. Just keep on impressing me. Now, you guys better get out to the ring, the tag champs are waiting. And oh yeah, Titus & Shelton are banned from ringside. And if they interfere, your spot will be filled by someone else.
The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith) defeated Team Matt Striker and Richie Steamboat when Smith defeated Striker by disqualification in 0:13:28. Rating: **1/4
Matt Striker looked to be in trouble at the hands of the tag champs. So, he decided to take the easy way out & low blow Smith, causing an immediate dq. As soon as the bell sounded, Titus O'Neil and Shelton Benjamin rushed the ring & attacked the tag champs from behind. Striker joined in the assault until officials seperated them and forced them to the back.
Footage is shown from earlier tonight of the confrontation between Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Dolph Ziggler, & Chris Hero. Followed by the announcement of the 6 man elimination match in 3 weeks.
Chris Hero pinned Austin Aries with the Hero's Welcome in 0:13:34. Rating: *** 1/2
After the match: As Hero celebrated his victory, he finally noticed the EWR Champion: Samoa Joe watching the match from the entranceway. Joe stands unmoving as Hero calls him down to the ring. Joe refuses to move, as Hero motions that he wants the title belt around his waist as the show goes off the air.
Card rating: **3/4
Match observations:
A 6 man match for the EWR World Heavyweight Title is just 3 weeks away. Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Chris Hero, & Dolph Ziggler are the first 4 names to be entered, who will the other 2 be? And how will they be decided?
Chris Hero defeated Austin Aries as Samoa Joe stood on the entrance ramp and watched his partner. As the six man match for the title closes in, you have to think this gives Hero some much needed momentum.
It seems like the alliance between Hero & Dolph Ziggler is pretty much over as both these warriors want to dethrone the EWR Champion: Samoa Joe, and neither seem to care who they have to go through to do it.
Sami Zayn put on an impressive showing in his debut against Heath Slater. But you can bet that "The One Man Southern Rock Band" will be back for revenge.
Phil McPhenom has brought independant standout: Brian Cage to EWR, who made quick work of the man that McPhenom had him eye on the past few weeks: Willie Mack. And even though he has yet to sign a contract, McPhenom is demanding that Cage be included in the 6 pack challenge for the EWR Title.
Next week: More on the 6 man World Title Match. Plus The Hart Dynasty will seek revenge against Varsity Club members: Titus O'Neil & Shelton Benjamin in a non-title match. and more action than you can shake a stick at

Commissioner Douglas walks into Matt Striker's locker room. SD: Well, well, well, there's my boy. How are you tonight Matt? MS: What is now Douglas? Are you finally giving me my main event? SD: Well that's up to you. I mean, last week you didn't exactly impress the hell out of me. You manipulated my stipulation. But, don't let it be said that I don't recognize a man with brains. MS: What do I need to do this time? SD: Well, since you asked, I need you to go out there & put on a match that will have people on the edge of their seats. Hardcore rules, falls count anywhere. MS: And if I do this, I get my match finally? SD: If you do this for me, I will make a special announcement regarding your status for next week later tonight. MS: Well, then I guess we have another deal. Just make sure that you don't screw me over.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Matt Striker pinned Joey Ryan with the Golden Rule in 0:22:23. Rating: *** 1/4 [Shelton Benjamin interfered against Joey Ryan.]

The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) battled Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) to a double countout in 0:03:43. Rating: ** 1/4
Phil McPhenom and Brian Cage come down to the ring. PM: Last week, this man (points at Cage) came out here with a mission. That mission was to be included in the 6 man match in 2 weeks. Now we still haven't heard a word from the commissioner about it, so we are going to have to prove our point again this week. Also, I am informing Mr. Cage's scheduled opponent that it will be wise to not even show up tonight. But if you want to feel a level of brutality like never before then please come out here now & face him in another "Unsanctioned" Match. Zack Ryder runs out & attacks Cage as McPhenom quickly exits the ring.
"Unsanctioned" Match No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Brian Cage pinned Zack Ryder with the Weapon X in 0:08:34. Rating: *** 1/4
Phil McPhenom gets back into the ring after the match. PM: What else does he have to do to get you all to take notice? If Commissioner Douglas doesn't answer us by the main event tonight. We're taking matters into our own hands!
The camera opens on EWR Commissioner: Shane Douglas at his desk. SD: Last week I announced that very soon there will be a 6 man elimination match for the EWR World Heavyweight Title. I also announced 4 of the 6 men that will be taking part. Next week, another participant will be named. He will be the winner of a fourway elimination match. A 4 man elimination match will take place. The first name on the list to be involved in that match is Matt Striker. And as for the other 4 men that I had already scheduled for that big 6 man match, tonight's main event will be a Triple Threat match. The match will be Dolph Ziggler vs Chris Hero vs Austin Aries. I said the 4 of you because you, Samoa Joe, will be the special referee. Like it or not.
Heath Slater pinned Richie Steamboat with the Sweetness in 0:06:06. Rating: **3/4
Kris Kloss is backstage with Curtis Axel. KK: Curtis, 2 weeks ago you beat Richie Steamboat & beat him brutally after the match. Last week, you pinned Zack Ryder. Up next you face Willie Mack... CA: Yet another in a string of those labeled "never was" that I have to go through on my way to the top. The powers that be in EWR are so afraid of me holding their precious title that they are constantly making me jump through hoops & share screen time with with complete morons (looks at Kloss) It's time I made sure that I'm taken seriously. It's time I make everyone stand up & take notice. It's time everyone remembers that I am wrestling royalty. And I will make sure that with every match, they will never forget it!
Curtis Axel pinned Willie Mack with the Hangman's Facebuster in 0:10:33. Rating: ****
Kris Kloss is backstage with Matt Striker and The Varsity Club. KK: Guys, you have a non-title match with the EWR Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty up next. How do you feel about going up against the team that has such a prestigous petigree in this business? MS: How do we feel? It feels like Christmas. Tonight, we have to try an "impress" the commissioner. Well, as far as I'm concerned, we don't have to impress anyone. My Varstity Club has all the tools to be a major force in the world of pro wrestling. And tonight, we prove that just like every other great dynasty in history, the Harts will crumble.
The Varsity Club (Titus O'Neil and Shelton Benjamin) defeated The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith) when Benjamin pinned Kidd with the Paydirt in 0:18:54. Rating: *** 1/2 [Matt Striker interfered against Tyson Kidd.] [Natalya interfered against Titus O'Neil.] [Natalya interfered against Shelton Benjamin.]
Kris Kloss is backstage with Dolph Ziggler. KK: Dolph, last week you and Chris Hero got into an arguement over who should be the EWR Champion. DZ: That's right Kris. Chris Hero thinks that I cost him the title afew weeks back when I was actually trying to help him get that belt off Samoa Joe. Now, it's going to come down to who can survive a 6 man elimination match in 2 weeks. Not only that but 2 of the men taking part in that match aren't even known yet. But it won't matter because when the smoke clears, only 1 man will be standing tall as the new EWR Champion. And tonight, not even Samoa Joe himself being the special referee can stop me from dominating both Austin Aries & Chris Hero. And then it will be on to the elimination match, where I will steal the show & the title.(looks at Kloss) Show. Off.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Triangle Match with Special Referee Samoa Joe: Dolph Ziggler defeated Chris Hero and Austin Aries when Ziggler pinned Aries with the Zig Zag in 0:19:45. Rating: ***1/4
After the match: Austin Aries & Samoa Joe start beating down Hero & Ziggler when Brian Cage comes charging to the ring with a chair. He knocked Joe down with a shot to the head, which caused Aries to retreat. Cage stood tall in the ring as Hero & Ziggler got to their feet. When suddenly Cage turned around & leveled first Ziggler with a stiff chair shot, and then one for Hero that busted "The Knockout Kid" open. The camera fades out on the final scene of Cage being the only one standing in the ring surveying the carnage he just caused as Phil McPhenom laughs from outside the ring.
Card rating: *** 1/4
Match observations:
Samoa Joe was forced to make the count, giving Dolph Ziggler the win in the Triple Threat match. Will "The Samoan Submission Machine" survive the 6 man elimination match in 2 weeks? Or did he inadvertantly give Ziggler the needed momentum to take the EWR Title?
And what about the 2 mystery men yet to be named for the match? Will these wildcards be the determining factor in who is EWR Champion?
Brian Cage made it known he wants to be EWR Champion. Did his display of violence get the attention of the commissioner tonight?
Shelton Benjamin & Titus O'Neil got a non title victory over The Hart Dynasty. Will it translate to tag team gold soon?
Next week: The fatal fourway for the next spot in the 6 man elimnation match. More on Brian Cage's petition to be in the 6 man elimination match Benjamin & O'Neil vs Kidd & Smith in singles competition: Tyson Kidd vs Shelton Benjamin & David Hart Smith vs Titus O'Neil Fed Up & The Ascension haven't settled a thing as each team holds a victory over the other. Tonight was supposed to be the proverbial rubber match, but, tempers flared and the 4 men brawled out of the ring forcing the referee to count them all out. NExt week they will try to settle their differences once and for all. Plus more [/b][/b]

This weeks' show opens with Commissioner Shane Douglas coming to the ring. SD: Afew weeks ago I made the announcement that EWR will hold a 6 man elimination match for the EWR World Heavyweight Title. I also let be known who the first 4 participants would be; current EWR Champion: Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Chris Hero, and Dolph Ziggler. Right now, I'm going to add to that list, becuase, due to his actions last week, all 4 other men have petitioned that Brian Cage be included. And after intense negotiations with Mr. Cage's agent: Phil McPhenom, I am proud to announce that they have signed an exclusive contract with EWR. So, that's 5 of the 6 names I promised. Tonight, the sixth & final man will be added. He will be the winner of a special 4 man elimination match later tonight. And that's not all, you see after everything that's gone on for the past few weeks, I've desided to break the budget and make next week's main event special. I've spared no expense and come up with the best way to end all the controversy. Next week, the main event will be for the EWR World Heavyweight Title.....inside THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER! A hype video runs on the big screen for the Elimination Chamber as the commissioner leaves.

Austin Aries, Matt Striker & Samoa Joe barge into Commissioner Douglas' office. Joe: Who the hell do you think you are? What gives you the right to make next week an Elimination Chamber? SD: The fact that I'm the commissioner gives me the right. It also gives me the right to strip you of that title if you don't watch your mouth. MS: You can't do that! This is Samoa Joe; the hottest talent out there today. SD: You know Striker, I used to respect you. You used to be nobody's fool and now you're just begging for a spot in some qualifier. MS: How dare you?!!? I'm Matt Striker! I'm the smartest man on the roster & I control TheVarsity Club! SD: That's the fire I want to see. You see, Joe, not only will you and Austin Aries be in the Elimination Chamber next week, but I've got afew more things for this week involving you guys. Starting with you, champ. You have the night off tonight so I suggest you get out of my arena. Aries, you have a tag match tonight & if you want to keep your spot in the main event next week, you need to go get ready for it. And then there's you, Mr. Striker. I've tried to help you get so over that I couldn't not put you in the main event. And now you come in here & insult me and challenge my authority? Tonight, you have a chance to regain your dignity. You will be in the qualifying match to get into the chamber. MS: And if I refuse? SD: Then you're fired. What do you think his chances are going up against 5 of the top stars in EWR all at once? PM: Just look at him. Brian Cage is 260 pounds of solid muscle, he's got the perfect look & all the talent. Not to mention , he's already beaten down Zack Ryder. He pinned Chris Hero in a tag teammatch last week. And he's leveled Joe, Aries, & Ziggler all in one night as well. I'd say my man is the odds on favorite to walk out with the gold. And with me leading the way, there's nobody alive that can stop him.
Richie Steamboat pinned Jesse Godderz with the Flying Cross Body Press in 0:09:25. Rating: **3/4
Samoa Joe is with Austin Aries in the locker room. SJ: You know, I'm just glad that I have you to watch my back in the Chamber tonight. AA: Joe, tonight is going to be our night. Tonight, Zack Ryder gets to live out the dream of becoming World Champion. DZ: Well, buddy, just remember what we all talked about. We've got to stick together and get rid of Samoa Joe & Aries first. Then it's every man for himself. CH: Tonight, Samoa Joe loses that title. Now if you don't mind, I'm late for an important meeting. Hero walks off leaving Ryder & Ziggler to themselves.

Kris Kloss is with Matt Striker. KK: Matt, last week you came so close to getting into the Elimination Chamber. But, now tonight you have opted not to step back into the ring. MS: It doesn't matter that I lost the match to get into the chamber last week, Kloss. What matters now is my guiding The Varsity Club to the EWR Tag Team Title. So, yes, you are correct. I will not be stepping back into the squared circle anytime soon as my focus will be solely on my teams success. (Commissioner Shane Douglas walks into frame.) SD: Lucky for you , Matt Striker, I have been in negotiations with a top star in this business. So you're withdrawl from tonight's competition, as well as any in the near future, won't be a disappointment to the fans. A video plays showing Sami Zayn running in to save Richie Steamboat from a beat down by Curtis Axel. After the video, Axel is backstage with Kris Kloss. KK: Sami, why did you just help Richie Steamboat last week? SZ: Why? Kris, I think it should be relatively clear, it was just the right thing to do. Richie is a man just like myself, hard working and honorable. Curtis Axel keeps claiming that he's the best of the new generation, but, he keeps relying on weapons. All I rely on is talent. And I have all I need to beat Curtis Axel with some to spare.

SD: Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to introduce to you the NEW Extreme Wrestling Revolution World Heavyweight Champion: "The Show Off" Dolph Ziggler! (the crowd breaks into a "Ziggler" chant) Ziggler's music plays as the new champ comes to the ring, dressed in a nice suit. After entering the ring, Commissioner Douglas hands Ziggler the title as he shakes his free hand. DZ: All I've heard through out my entire career is that I was too small to be a "top guy", that my look wasn't the "in" thing. That I should be a sidekick, or comic relief. Well last week, I went into a match that no one gave me a chance of winning. Everyone thought that all Dolph Ziggler was good for was to take a beating. But, all the beatings, every stitch, every bump, they all prepared me for this moment. Now, I prove that I am more than a sidekick, more than comic relief, more than some guy that is good at taking a beating. Starting now, I prove that Dolph Ziggler is for real. And I know in my heart that I could never have made it without all you fans. (the crowd chants "You're Welcome" as Ziggler smiles) Just then Phil McPhenom & Brian Cage come down to the ring. They enter the ring & McPhenom stands between Cage & Ziggler. PM: Just a minute. You can't take all the credit for winning that match last week. You weren't the one that eliminated Brian Cage. As a matter of fact, you've never beaten him at all. For that reason only, he deserves a shot at the title. SD: Alright, Mr. McPhenom, you have alot of nerve coming out here & ruining the celebration that I spent alot of time setting up. But, if you think your man has what it takes to defeat Dolph Ziggler & take the EWR Title, then I think next week we should find out. DZ: Look, I may be banged up, but, I'm ready now. Let's do this. (Ziggler starts to take off his suit jacket) SD: No, no, no, save it for next week. There's too much else that I have planned for tonight. But, I'm warning you McPhenom, don't make a habit of messing with me. SD: Oh, I've only just begun to mess with you and with the EWR. Just remember, my client Brian Cage doesn't wait in line for his opportunities. So, don't even think about giving someone else a shot before his next week. (Cage & McPhenom leave the ring)

SB: You 2 punks couldn't carry our jock straps. Everyone in this business knows how dominant me & Titus are as team. C-Fed: The only reason you can dominate is because all anyone has to do is smell you, son. Let's face it, you stink. EWR Commissioner: Shane Douglas gets between all 4 men. SD: You 4 want to settle this arguement that bad? Tonight it'll be The Varsity Club & their "coach" Matt Striker vs Fed Up & any partner they can find! If Fed Up can win, then next week, you 2 will have a shot at the EWR Tag Team Title. Now I suggest you all go get ready or else. The camera cuts back to the ring for the next match.
Randy Orton pinned Willie Mack with the RKO in 0:06:59. Rating: ****
After the match, Orton grabs the microphone. RO: That's 2 weeks in a row that I've beaten Willie Mack. With my history, I shouldn't have to go thru preliminary matches. I should already be in the main event. I don't care who wins next week. Brian Cage, Dolph Ziggler, Shane Douglas consider this your last warning. Randy Orton is coming for the EWR Title and no one is going to stop me from getting it.

Kris Kloss is backstage with Chris Hero & Curtis Axel. KK: Chris Hero, up next, you 2 have to go at it with Richie Steamboat & Joey Ryan. But, the question is: why are you teaming with Curtis Axel? CH: It's real simple. Curtis Axel is a man veryu much like myself. Both of us feel we are overlooked by promoters and disrespected by the fans. Tonight, we show everyone that we mean business and that we are never to be taken for granted again. And then it's only a matter of time before gold is around one of our waists. CA: No force on this planet can stop us. No one will be able to hold us back anymore.

Samoa Joe defeated Zack Ryder when Ryder passed out in the Coquina Clutch in 0:05:40. Rating: ****
Commissioner Douglas is backstage in the locker room with Austin Aries. SD: Tough break last week, Austin. You looked pretty good in the title hunt. AA:You here to rub it in? SD: No,no, I'm here to make you a deal. I want you to go out there tonight & "wow" this crowd against Sami Zayn. AA:What's in it for me? SD: How about, if you put on a good enough show, I put you back into the title picture? AA: Are you serious? This almost sounds too good to be true. SD: Just go out there & do your best, and I'll make sure that a title shot is in your future.
Austin Aries pinned Sami Zayn with the Brain Buster in 0:09:56. Rating: ****
Matt Striker & The Varsity Club are backstage with Kris Kloss. KK: Up next you 3 are going to face the Fed Up and a mystery partner. MS: It doesn't matter who Fed Up finds to team with them tonight. You're looking at the future of this business. We have all the tools, the talents & the looks. TO: Oh you know "The Coach" speaks the truth. We have it all. Shoulders like boulders, abs that you wanna grab, and more muscles... well we got lots of muscles. SB: Tonight, we put an end to Fed Up's hopes of getting into the title picture. Tonight, we show the world that we are the best athletes in EWR.
The Varsity Club (Matt Striker, Shelton Benjamin and Titus O'Neil) defeated Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) and Paul London when Benjamin pinned London with the Paydirt in 0:21:33. Rating: *** 1/4
After the match, Matt & Jeff Hardy charged the ring & attacked the champions. Matt Striker tried to help his team, but, The Hardys were too fresh & too much for all 3 men. Officials swarmed the ring to pull them all apart, but, before leaving Matt & Jeff grabbed the championship belts & taunted the fallen champs as the cameras faded to black.
Card rating: ***1/2
Card overview:
The Hardys showed that they want to be known as a force to be reckined with in EWR, by attacking the champions after their hard fought victory. Brian Cage has made it known he still wants the EWR Title even though Dolph Ziggler now holds the belt. Next week, he gets his first shot at Ziggler and the gold. Was Ziggler's victory last week a fluke? Or will he prove that he has what it takes to be a great champion? And just what did Phil McPhenom mean by he's "only just begun" to mess with the Commissioner?

Kris Kloss is with former EWR Champion: Samoa Joe. KK: Samoa Joe, 2 weeks ago inside the Elim.... (Joe snatches the microphone) SJ: Don't even mention what happened inside the Elimination Chamber. I should never have lost. And if it wasn't for other people's incompetence, I would still be the champion today. (Joe gets a calm look over his face) But, it's like I said last week before I decimated Zack Ryder. If people thought I was a dangerous man before when I had the title, just wait until they see what I'm willing to do to get it back.
Samoa Joe defeated Richie Steamboat when Steamboat passed out in the Coquina Clutch in 0:05:34. Rating: ***
After the match: Samoa Joe grabs a chair from the timekeeper's table and smashes Steamboat with it. He continues his assault until officials come down to stop him. PM: Now, now boys, before you go & start fighting over something that you have no chance of winning. I told the commissioner last week that I've only just begun to mess with him & the company. And thanks to my great business savy, I have managed to acquire the contracts of my 2 newest clients, and turn this match into a Triple Threat. Music starts to play as Heath Slater & Jesse Godderz come out & flank McPhenom. The 2 then charge the ring & this match is underway.

Randy Orton comes down to the ring. RO: Since I dominated in my match last week, our "all-wise" commissioner has yet to inform me whether or not I am have a match tonight. Well, I refuse to go without a match tonight. And I demand that Shane Douglas send someone out here right now so that I can kick their ass, and leave no doubt just who deserves to be in the main event. Then maybe I will get the respect I so rightly deserve. Zack Ryder steps out onto the entranceway. ZR: Now, I know that we were in the ring together last week, but, you didn't beat me. So, seeing how I'm not booked tonight either, I'll be more than happy to accomidate you. Just remember, be careful what you wish for, it might just be your ass that's kicked. Ryder charges the ring as the refree calls for the bell.

Footage is shown from last week of Fed UP and Paul London taking on The Varsity Club. After the video, the camera goes backstage to Kris Kloss, who is with Fed Up.
KK: Guys, we just saw how The Varsity Club got the win against you last week... C-Fed: They beat us because they cheated, son. There is no way those goofs could beat us again. G-Fed: Not only did they cheat, son, but, you have to remember, we never teamed with Paul London before that match so our timing was off. Now that we've been in the gym & practicing, there will be no stopping us. C-Fed: I hope they're ready to be fed up all night, because we're gonna show them what a real tag team looks like, son.
Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) defeated Matt Striker and Chris Hero when C-Fed pinned Hero with the F Bomb in 0:14:15. Rating: ***1/4
Curtis Axel comes down to the ring & grabs the ring announcer's microphone. CA: For weeks now, I have faced "never was" after "never was" . So, you can imagine my surprise when I arrived tonight & saw when my opponent was scheduled to be none other than "Sami Zayn, again. Of course now, "mysteriously" Sami gets himself attacked backstage & is in no shape to compete. All that means to me is that I should be declared the winner by forfeit. Therefore moving up the rankings & getting closer to a title shot. Now referee, get in here & count him out & raise my hand. The referee gets to 5, when suddenly Sami Zayn's music hits & Zayn limps out from the back & down to the ring.
Sami Zayn pinned Curtis Axel with the Helluva Kick in 0:14:00. Rating: ***1/2
After the match: Axel recovers and assaults on Zayn, focusing on his leg. Axel stands over the fallen Zayn, shouting that it's not over between them yet.
As the officials help Zayn to the back, strange new entrace music plays as a some-what familiar man, dressed ready to compete, comes to the ring. He gets in the ring and grabs the announcer's microphone. Man: For those of you that may not know who I am, allow me to introduce myself. My name is "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce, the best wrestler to ever step into a ring. And since I heard that they gave the gold in this company to some chump, I'm here to stake my claim. And I dare anyone in the back to come out here & try to stop me. Willie Mack's music plays as he makes his way to the ring.
Adam Pearce pinned Willie Mack with the Jumping Piledriver in 0:14:00. Rating: ****
Footage is shown from last week of the celebration ceramony for Dolph Ziggler and of Phil McPhenom & Brian Cage interupting. Kris Kloss is with the EWR Champ. KK: Dolph, last week your victory party came to an abrupt end when Phil McPhenom & Brian Cage came out to challenge you. DZ: Phil McPhenom may have come here from the West Coast & is used to celebrity treatment, but tonight, he is going to see how it feels when a a man that has worked hard for everything in his life reacts when he sudenly has everything to lose. He has no idea what I have sacrificed for this title or just what I am capable of doing. And as for Brian Cage, he is just 3 seconds away from obscurtiy. No one gave me a chance to win inside the Elimination Chamber, and I've been living my dream ever since. And I'll be damned if that dream ends tonight.
Dolph Ziggler pinned Brian Cage with the Zig Zag in 0:17:08. Rating: *** 1/4 (Dolph Ziggler retained the EWR World Title.)

Match observations:
Dolph Ziggler turned back the challenge of Brian Cage to retain the EWR Title. What new challenges will he have to face next week? Will Phil McPhenom's client be back to try again?
Samoa Joe let the world know that he wants his title back & showed everyone just how dangerous he can be by destroying Richie Steamboat. Who can stop this now pissed off "Samoan Submission Machine"? And what shape will Steamboat be in next week?
New #1 contenders to the tag team title were crowned as Phil McPhenom's new team of Jesse Godderz & Heath Slater got past The Hart Dynasty & The Ascension. Just when will the talent agent's growing stable get a shot at the gold?.

Adam Pearce made a huge impact tonight by taking down big Willie Mack. Could the former NWA Champion soon be gunning for EWR gold?
Randy Orton thought that by calling out the commssioner that he would somehow be thrust into the spotlight. Zack Ryder thought he was up to the task of shutting The Viper's mouth once & for all, but Orton showed he is not all talk by pinning Ryder's shoulders. How long until Orton gets his wish & is competing for EWR gold?
Sami Zayn defeated Curtis Axel, but, a backstage attack almost kept him from appearing. Axel couldn't believe he lost to a man that could barely walk an took his frustrations out on the international star after the match. You can expect Zayn to be back for revenge next week. [/b]

Phil McPhenom & Brian Cage barge into the commissioner's office only to find that Dolph Ziggler is already there. PM I should have known that you'd be here. After all, you 2 are quite close right? And I'll bet that you're trying to block Cage from getting another shot at your title. SD: Mr. McPhenom, I told you not to mess with me. You pulled a fast one last week by signing Godderz & Slater, but, I'm not about to let you fool me again. Dolph Ziggler beat your man fair & square last week. Give me one good reason why he should get another shot. PM: Keep Cage from the belt & he'll give you several in the form of broken bodies. SD: However intimidating that may sound, I'm gonna have to pass. Besides, I've already given Mr. Ziggler the night off. How about, instead, Cage proves he deserves another shot? BC: Just point me toward the ring. No one's going to stop me. SD: No "one" huh? Then, let's put that theory to the test. Tonight, if you want another shot at the EWR Title, you have to get through the former tag champs: The Hart Dynasty. PM: What kind of twisted game are you trying to play? SD: I told you before, don't mess with me. And I suggest you get a move on, your new tag team, is up next.

Footage is shown from last week of Adam Pearce debuting against Willie Mack. Kris Kloss is backstage with Pearce & Chris Hero. KK: Adam Pearce, your victorious debut last week was nothing short of spectacular. You also announced then that you were going after some gold here in EWR. Why then tonight are you teaming up with Chris Hero against Willie Mack & a mystery partner? AP: Because I've noticed that the tag team division in this company is growing weak. Last week. I came out & proclaimed myself the greatest wrestler to step inside the squared circle. Then, I went on to take down an promising rising superstar. I don't care who Willie Mack gets as a tag team partner, they're not gonna be match for us.
Pearce & Hero are in the ring awaiting their opponents. Willie Mack's music plays as he steps out to the runway. Mack pauses as the music changes: "STAND BACK! THERE'S A HURRICANE COMING THROUGH!" Willie Mack has found a partner in the masked superhero known as THE HURRICANE!
Adam Pearce and Chris Hero defeated Willie Mack and The Hurricane when Pearce pinned Mack with the Jumping Piledriver in 0:10:23. Rating: ** 1/2
Footage is shown from last week of Austin Aries facing Joey Ryan. Kris Kloss is with Austin Aries. KK: Austin, last week you were having a great match with Joey Ryan... AA: I have a great match no matter who I'm in the ring with. Tonight, I don't even know who my oppoenent isBut if whoever he is thinks he's gonna keep me from my rightful spot as a main eventer, well I got news for him. Card rating: ***
Match observations:
Phil McPhenom's stable may be out of the EWR Heavyweight Title picture for the moment as Brian Cage couldn't defeat The Hart Dynasty in a handicap match for another shot at the title. McPhenom is a shrewd businessman & you can be sure this set back won't keep him down long.
Samoa Joe once again brutalized Richie Steamboat during their match. Joe warned everyone that he would be more dangerous than ever since losing the EWR Title. Is there anyone that can stop "The Samoan Submission Machine"?
Rumors are circulating that Commissioner Douglas is losing control of the EWR locker room, and that someone has been calling the board of directors in hopes of his dismissal.
Last week, Adam Pearce surprised alot of people by debuting here in EWR. Tonight, TheHurricane surprised Pearce by siding with Willie Mack against the self proclaimed "greatest wrestler alive". Will the superhero be the man that puts Pearce's claim to rest?
Speaking of debuts: Christian York surprised Austin Aries and showed him what happens to those who take opponents too lightly. Will this loss derail Aries on his road to the main event? Or will he be back for revenge?
The Hardyz may have been around the block afew times, but, once again showed that they are not to be taken lightly. The new EWR tag champs took down a very tough team to capture the gold. Up next, a newly formed team with a shrewd agent guiding them.

The Varsity Club (Shelton Benjamin and Titus O'Neil) defeated Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) when O'Neil pinned G-Fed with the Clash Of The Titus in 0:12:57. Rating: ***
Footage is shown from last week of The Hurricane debuting as Willie Mack's mystery partner against Adam Pearce & Chris Hero. Kris Koss is with Chris Hero. KK: Chris Hero, did the debut of Willie Mack's partner, The Hurricane, throw off the game plan that you & Adam Pearce had? CH: Obviously, from the result of the match last week the debut of that skinny freak didn't distract or confuse anyone. Tonight, I am going to brutalize & destroy that masked midget. There will be no doubt who the dominant power in EWR is when I'm through.
The Hurrcane pinned Chris Hero with the Eye Of The Hurricane in 0:08:40. Rating: ***3/4
Hero attacks The Hurricane as he starts to celebrate. Hero locks on the STF and refuses to release the hold. He continues to apply pressure even though Hurricane has gone limp. Just then, Willie Mack runs out from the back to save his partner. Hero finally releases the hold & bails from the ring before Mack can get ahold of him.
Footage is shown from the last 2 weeks ago of Samoa Joe beating Richie Steamboat. Kris Kloss is with Samoa Joe. KK: Joe, for 2 weeks straight you have beat down Richie Steamboat with chairs & even choked him out after your match was over. Do you have an explanation for your actions? SJ: Explanation? I told you when I lost the belt. If you thought I was dangerous before, imagine what I'll do to get it back. I am now a man on a mission. A mission to destroy Dolph Ziggler & take back what's rightfully mine. And I will let no one stand in my way. So, I suggest you step aside before you become the next one that I choke out. (Kloss take a deep swallow as he looks at Joe in fear & steps back timidly)
Samoa Joe defeated Sami Zayn when Zayn passed out in the Coquina Clutch in 0:14:59. Rating: **** 1/4
After the match: Samoa Joe again goes outside & grabs a chair. As he re-enters the ring & prepares to deliver what should be a knock out blow to Zayn, Dolph Ziggler runs down to the ring and grabs the chair away from behind Joe. As Joe turns around Ziggler swings the chair & drops the big man with a shot to the head. This sneak attack causes Joe to retreat as the EWR Champ helps Sami Zayn to his feet.
Kris Kloss is with Phil McPhenom, Jesse Godderz, Heath Slater & Brian Cage. KK: Phil McPhenom, last week your man, Cage, was put in a match where the odds were stacked against him by the commissioner. Do you feel that you are being treated unfairly, like some others in the locker room? PM: Of course, we're being treated unfairly. My team has been #1 contenders for 2 weeks but The Hardys got a shot first. Now tonight, they finally will be taking on the EWR Tag Team Champions. Cage should be the EWR Champion right now. But, what happens instead? The commissioner has him fight in a handicap match to "prove" he deserves it. A match, by the way, he almost won. Every one of my clients have signed a petition to remove Shane Douglas from power. The sooner we get rid of him, the sooner things will change around here. And the sooner there will be a new EWR Champion, in Cage.
The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) and Brian Cage defeated The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith) and Zack Ryder when Cage pinned Ryder with the Weapon X in 0:14:31. Rating: ** 1/2 [Natalya interfered against Konnor.]

Curtis Axel walks into the commissioner's office. CA: You wanted to see me? SD: Ah, Curtis Axel, I did. You see, I feel alittle bad about how you 've been kind of floundering lately. So to make it up, I want to put you in tonight's main event. CA: Let me guess, I'll have to carry another partner, make him look good, just to be split up in a few weeks? SD: Not at all. I actually want to see what you can accomplish on your own. So, I'm putting you in a match with someone that I think can match your ability. I want you to go 1 on 1 with the reigning EWR World Champion: Dolph Ziggler. Now, the title won't be on the line, but, if you can pick up a victory over the champ, you will move to the head of the line for a title shot. CA: In that case, Ziggler won't know what hit him. (Axel smiles & walks out.) Footage is shown from last week of the match between Austin Aries & Christian York. After the footage, the camera goes backstage, where Kris Kloss is with "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived". AA: Before you even ask a stupid question, Kloss, let me set the record straight. I am the top star in this business. I don't care what some cry baby said earlier, I am the greatest superstar in history. Tonight, I'm gonna show Christian York just how good I am. Only one of us will get his hand raised. And that will be me. Because I am simply the best and "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived"!
Austin Aries pinned Christian York with the Brain Buster in 0:12:49. Rating: *** 1/2
Just as Aries got his hand raised in victory, he turned and attacked York. He quickly got the advantage over the stunned York & delivered another Brain Buster. Officials swarmed the ring before any more damage could be done. Aries left the ring with a smile as he viewed the carnage.
Samoa Joe is tearing apart the locker room as Shane Douglas walks in. SD: Joe, take it easy. SJ: Take it easy? Take it easy ?! You saw what that talentless excuse for a champion did. I'm gonna go out theer & tear him in half later. SD: Not if you ever want to be champ again you won't. SJ: Oh you're not gonna to stop me Douglas. I'm gonna kill him. And then I'm gonna take back MY belt. SD: If you go out there & disrupt tonight's main event, not only won't you get a shot at the title ever again, but, I'll be sure to indefinately suspend you. If you want your revenge, you can start with some patience and wait a week. If Curtis Axel is unsuccessful against Ziggler tonight, you can face him next week in a non title match. Then, if you can defeat Dolph, you can have a title shot. Can you keep you cool that long? SJ: You're not giving me much choice are you? SD: No, I'm not. Now give me your word and I promise you that you'll have mine. SJ: Fine. But if you break your word, I'll break Ziggler, then I'm coming for you. (Joe walks off leaving the commissioner looking alittle worried)

V: We have come to deliver a message of warning to the EWR locker room. You all know nothing about pain, but, you think you do. We have heard men's screams. We have drew & tasted their blood. We can smell all your fears. Tonight is just the beginning, just a sip. Because we want to savor the rest. We will devour you through your fear. We will show everyone here what is like to walk around with their manhood stripped away. Welcome to the wasteland. (Viktor drops the mic and they both walk away.)

Footage is shown from earlier of Dolph Ziggler saving Sami Zayn from Samoa Joe's assault with a chair. Kris Kloss is with the EWR Champ. KK: We just saw how you, Dolph Ziggler, saved Sami Zayn from an assault much like the one Richie Steamboat recieved at the hands of Samoa Joe. Why would you risk your neck for a man that you really have no ties to? DZ: Because Samoa Joe, made the statement that he's on a mission to destroy me. And there's no way I'm playing defense on this one. I'm not going to sit back & wait for him to strike. I wanted to get in the first shot. And now, if & when I get by Curtis Axel tonight, I get to go one on one with the monster. Face to face with the beast. Alone in the ring with Samoa Joe. Well I said it before, I've faced bigger & badder men and I'm still here. Long after many of my critics said I should hang up my boots & find a new career, I stand here as the EWR Champion, ready to take on the world.
Dolph Ziggler pinned Curtis Axel with the Zig Zag in 0:10:12. Rating: *** 1/2
After the match, as Ziggler celebrates, Samoa Joe steps out from the back onto the entranceway. Ziggler sees Joe & halts his celebration. He then lifts the EWR World Title belt high in the air. Joe stands firm & makes a motion, dragging his thumb across his throat & then both hands across his waist to signal that Ziggler's days as champion, and perhaps days left on this Earth, are numbered.
Card rating: *** 1/4
Match observations:
Dolph Ziggler took down Curtis Axel to keep his winning streak intact. But, now next week he must face the maniacal Samoa Joe. Joe's stated tonight that his mission is to destroy the EWR Champ & take his title. Will "The Samoan Submission Machine" be successful in taking back the title & ending Ziggler's career? Or will the "Show Off" pull another surprise victory out of his bag of tricks?
Heath Slater and Jesse Godderz are the NEW EWR Tag Team Champions. The upstarts knocked off a seasoned team in the Hardys. The loss was so frustrating to Jeff, the one that took the fall, that he has left the promotion. Matt Hardy, however, has decided to stay on and persue a single's career.
A petition has been started & already has some signatures. How many will it take for the goal of ousting Shane Douglas to be acheived?

The show opens with Curtis Axel coming to the ring as Brian Cage & Zack Ryder stand waiting. Axel approaches Ryder. CA: Before this goes any further, I want the truth to be known. I know that everyone has heard by now about the petition to get rid of the current administration, that being Shane Douglas. Well, the rumors are true & I'm the one that started the petition. Cage, I want you to be the next name on my petition to oust Shane Douglas from his seat of power. I almost have enough signatures to go to the board of directors & have him removed. But, I can't do it without your help. (Cage takes the clipboard & signs). Now what about you, Zack Ryder? Why not join the winning team? Ryder takes the clipboard & just as he's about to sign it, he throws it back at Axel. Axel & Cage attack him as the referee calls for the bell.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Triangle Match: Brian Cage defeated Curtis Axel and Zack Ryder when Cage pinned Ryder with the Weapon X in 0:10:15. Rating: ** 1/4
Randy Orton's music plays as "The Viper" walks to the ring. RO: For weeks now I have been reminding you all of just who I am & what a real superstar & champion is supposed to look like. If I have to, I will torture & maim anyone who tries to get in the way of my path to the top. Just then Matt Hardy's music hits & he steps out from the back smiling. Hardy steps into the ring & gets a microphone of his own from the ring announcer. MH: Hold your horses there mister. Now, I'm pretty sure you know my name. And I'm pretty sure you know my reputation. Now just like alot of the guys in the back that have been a champion. Once I got a taste of the gold, it became addicting. It's just something I have to have now. We go way back Randy. We both know one another eal well & we both know that each of us has that desire to be the best. So how about you put your money where your mouth is and take me on tonight. RO: Matt, you are correct about us knowing each other for a long time, but, I seem to remember our paths taking very different courses. Mine to 12 World Titles & yours to, for lack of a better term, the unemployment line. So, if you think that I'm afraid or intimidated by you, you've got another thing coming. I've faced and destroyed true legends in the business. Not just overhyped publicity machines like you. But if that's the way you want it... (Orton sucker punches Hardy with themicrophone) Orton backs Hardy into a corner with stiff punches. Orton then hits Hardy with a standing dropkick that sends him reeling. Orton sets up for an RKO and just as he goes to hit it, Hardy snaps back to life & blocks it. Hardy then gets ahold of Orton by the shoulder & neck to deliver the Twist Of Fate, dropping "The Viper"hard on the mat. MH: Just remember 2 things Randy. #1: Nice guys finish last. and I'm far from being a nice guy. And 2: You may be a "Legend Killer" but Matt Hardy will never die! (Hardy stands over Orton & looks him in the face & then drops the mic on his chest.)
Footage is shown from last week of the match between The Varsity Club & Fed Up.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-Disqualification-Number-One-Contenders-Triangle Match: Fed Up (C-Fed and G-Fed) defeated The Varsity Club (Titus O'Neil and Shelton Benjamin) and The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd) when C-Fed pinned Smith with the F Bomb in 0:27:37. Rating: ***
Kris Kloss is with Samoa Joe. KK: Joe, tonight you start you journey back into the title picture. And if you can defeat... SJ: If? If? That's when, Kloss. Because tonight, there is no way Dolph Ziggler is gonna beat me. Even though this match isn't for the belt, I'm going to show the world why I should still be the champion. When I get my title shot, not only will his reign come to an end, but, his career just might too.
Joey Ryan pinned Sami Zayn after a Northern Lights Suplex in 0:10:46. Rating: ***1/4
Backstage, Adam Pearce & Chris Hero run into the EWR Tag Team Champions: Jesse Godderz & Heath Slater. AP: I hope you 2 aren't getting too comfortable with that gold, because it's just a matter of time until we get our shot & take it from you. HS: You 2 had better just concentrate on your match later on, if you know what's good for you. JG: Yeah, (looks at Hero) didn't you lose your 1 on 1 last week? CH: I'd watch your mouth if I were you musclehead. Before I break your jaw & you need it wired shut. JG: How about you go ahead & try right now? I don't see anyone stopping you. Just then officials walk up & seperate the 2 teams before the situation can escalate.
Footage is shown from earlier tonight of the confrontation between Randy Orton and Matt Hardy.
Randy Orton pinned Matt Hardy with the RKO in 0:07:57. Rating: ***1/2
Footage is shown from last week of the match between Austin Aries & Christian York, followed by Aries attacking York once the match was over.. Kris Kloss is with Austin Aries. KK: Austin, last week, you attacked Christian York after your match. AA: Which I also won by the way. The attack York suffered after our match was over was just my way of proving a point. Everybody knows that I'm 10 times better than Christian York on my worst day. And tonight, there are no rules getting in my way. Chairs, tables, eye gouging, it's all the same and it's all legal. Tonight, I'm going to remind everyone just why "A Double" is "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived." And then it's on to bigger and better things, like, oh I don't know, the EWR World Title.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Austin Aries pinned Christian York with the Brain Buster in 0:11:36. Rating: ***
Kris Kloss is backstage with The Ascension. Once again, before Kloss can speak, Viktor takes away the microphone. V:A dark time is coming. The fall of man is almost here. We are here to prepare you for society's final breakdown. We have been designated the messengers & spread the word. Time is almost up for life as you know it. If you're not ready for change then you will become victims of the destruction that is to be unleashed. K: Welcome to the wasteland. The Ascension walk away leaving Kloss looking confused and just a bit worried.
Footage is shown of the rivalry between Willie Mack & Adam Pearce. All 4 men are in the ring, but, before the match can start, EWR Tag Team Champions: Jesse Godderz & Heath Slater come to ringside & join the commentary team.
Adam Pearce and Chris Hero defeated Willie Mack and The Hurricane when Pearce pinned Hurricane with the Jumping Piledriver in 0:16:23. Rating: *** 3/4 [Jesse Godderz and Heath Slater interfered against Adam Pearce.] [Heath Slater interfered against The Hurricane.]
After the match, the champions get into the ing and attack Pearce & Hero from behind, laying them each out with belt shots to the back of the head. They then turn their attention to The Hurricane & Willie Mack. Slater hits Mack with the Sweetness and Godderz takes down Hurricane with the Bro Down. As all 4 men lay on the canvas, Slater & Godderz are joined by their agent: Phil McPhenom, who raises his teams arms in victory. As the 4 men begin to stir, McPhenom leads his team up the ramp & to the back.
Kris Kloss is backstage the EWR Champion: Dolph Ziggler. KK: Dolph, earlier tonight we heard from Samoa Joe & how he plans on not only defeating you tonight, but, possibly ending your career. DZ: I've heard it all before, Kris. Big guys, small guys, tough guys, all of them have said the same thing. Not one of them concidered me a threat in the ring. And all of them found out the hard way, that I can hold my own with any top star in the business. I may not have won them all, but, I earned respect. Tonight, I go up against a very dangerous man in Samoa Joe. I don't know if I'll walk out victorious, but, I will walk out under my own power. And I will have his respect.
Non-Title Match: Samoa Joe defeated Dolph Ziggler when Ziggler passed out in the Coquina Clutch in 0:15:14. Rating: ****
After the match: Samoa Joe went outside the ring & grabbed the EWR Title belt & a chair from the timekeeper's table. Joe raised the title belt above his head & then picked Ziggler up to his feet. Joe dropped the belt & the chair & delivered another Muscle Buster to the champ onto the chair. As Ziggler lay motionless, Joe again raised the title high in the air. Officials ran down from the back to tend to the unconcious champion as Samoa Joe walked out with the belt, even though he didn't win it back.
Card rating: ***
Match observations:
Could the reign of Dolph Ziggler come to an end at the hands of Samoa Joe? Does Samoa Joe have the champ's number? Or was this just a one time victory by the former champ? Ziggler said he would walk out under his own power even if he lost the match, but, Joe made sure that he couldn't fulfill that promise. What kind of shape will Ziggler be in next week? Will Joe give back the belt that he stole?
The Ascension gave next part of their message of destruction. Who do they have in their sites as the first target?
EWR Tag Champs: Jesse Godderz & Heath Slater have sent a message that aren't to be taken lightly. How will the 4 men they attacked tonight respond?
Randy Orton & Matt Hardy had a battle of words that turned into a war in the ring. Orton came out on top this time, but Hardy has been granted a rematch next week. Will the result be dfferent this time?
Curtis Axel has taken credit for starting the petition against Shane Douglas. That petition is coming close to being filled. Just what will happen to the commissioner when he gets enough names?

As the announce team welcomes everyone watching to tonight's event, Curtis Axel comes out to the ring. CA: You will all be very pleased to know that I have finally amassed enough signatures to take my petition to the EWR board of directors, and Shane Douglas will finally be removed from his seat of power. No longer will the talent here be treated unfairly. No longer will a power mad dictator run this company like his own personal playground. From now on, the truely just will reign. And men like Austin Aries, Adam Pearce & myself will take our places in the heirarchy of this great business. This week, I will bring my own camera crew with me as I present this petition to the board, and Shane, you will be tried, convicted, and your career will be executed on the spot. Then we will return next week & play the footage for the world to see. There's nothing left to stand in our way. No one can bring us down. Hahaha. Just then Christian York's music plays & he walks to the ring. Soon after, Brian Cage & Phil McPhenom make their way to the ring as well.

Footage is shown from last week of Samoa Joe defeating Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match & then taking the title belt after beating him down once the match was over. The camera goes backstage where Sami Zayn confronts Joe, who is carrying the stolen title belt, watching on a monitor. SZ: Nice job last week. You just couldn't let the man have any dignity could you? You couldn't show him any respect. You couldn't even let him walk out under his own power. Then you go & steal his title.... SJ: Stop right there! He stole this belt from me in the elimination chamber. All I did was take back what's rightfully mine. SZ: Yours? He won that belt fair & square & you know it. You're just a sore loser. SJ: Keep it up & you'll be the one that ends up sore. I did exactly what I said I would last week. And all that non-title match proved is that Ziggler is a fluke champion & that it's only a matter of time before this belt is mine to keep. But if you think you're the one to stop me, step on up. SZ: Look, I never said I wanted a fight. SJ: That's what I thought. Joe turns to walk away & Zayn attacks him from behind. Officials run up & seperate them. SZ: I never said I wanted a fight, but, I'll give your fat ass the fight of your life. I'm gonna show you what respect is all about.
After being introduced, along side his partner: Konnor, Viktor took the ring announcer's microphone & made the following statement. V: People from your world think they have nothing to lose, but, you're wrong. Society's time has come. Like Constantinople & Rome before it, society has become a breeding ground of suffering & injustice. It is beyond saving & must be allowed to die. All dynasties must fall. This is the most important function of The Ascension. We will usher in a new era of destruction. Only we have the courage to do what is necessary. People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy. This will merely be the first.
The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) defeated The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd when Viktor pinned Smith with a Saito Suplex in 0:12:25. Rating: *** 3/4

Randy Orton pinned Richie Steamboat with the RKO in 0:07:18. Rating: **1/2
After the match: Orton picks up a mic, but, just before he has a chance to speak, the lights go out & music rumbles through the arena. As the lights come back on, Matt Hardy is running to the ring. Orton backs off, but, as Hardy advances, Orton charges forward and hits the RKO out of nowhere. Orton then picks up the mic & stands over Hardy. RO: I warned you Matt, you can't defeat me. You can't outsmart me. And you can't intimidate me. Give it up now, before you get hurt. Orton drops the mic on Hardy's chest & walks out.
Footage is shown from earlier tonight of the confrontation between Sami Zayn & Samoa Joe.
Samoa Joe made Sami Zayn submit to the Coquina Clutch in 0:10:37. Rating: ****
After the match: Samoa Joe stands over the semi-conscious Zayn, then desides to add insult to injury by delivering another Muscle Buster. As Joe sets Zayn up in the corner for the move, Dolph Ziggler runs out & attacks Joe with a chair and after leveling the big man, he starts stomping & kicking Joe while he's down. Ziggler then picks up his EWR Title belt & holds it over Joe yelling that he will make Joe respect him.
Kris Kloss is with Austin Aries. KK: Austin, last week you pinned Christian York in the middle of the ring. What do you think your odds are for taking down Joey Ryan tonight? AA: Really Kloss? Really? Last week, I pinned a nobody & tonight I have to face Joey Ryan. Joey Ryan? I'm a former Word Champion. What has Joey Ryan ever done? KK: Well, he has held some titles as well... AA: I know what he's done! The point I was trying to make is that Joey Ryan would never even have been in this business if he wasn't friends with certain people. This is just another example of how the current administration is holding back the real talent of this company. Well, that's all about to change, but, before it does, I'm going to let my frustrations come out on Joey Ryan & show him how I am one of the most dangerous men in this business.
Joey Ryan pinned Austin Aries after a Northern Lights Suplex in 0:10:14. Rating: ***3/4
After the match, Aries attacks Ryan & hits the Brain Buster, not once but twice before officials can come out & force him to the back.
Footage is shown of the rivalry between the teams of The Hurricane & Willie Mack and Adam Pearce & Chris Hero. Kris Kloss is with Pearce & Hero. KK: Guys, last week, the EWR Tag Champs: Jesse Godderz & Heath Slater attacked you & your opponents after your match for seemingly no reason. Do you know what their motivation was? AP: Simply put: fear. Because those 2 knows that once we send Willie Mack & his friend back to obsurity, that we're coming for their tag team titles. And they know that they have no chance against us. But, tonight, if they wanna come out & interfere in our match again, we've got a special surprise for them. But first & foremost, Hurricane & Mack, the time has come to prove who is the best. And with "The Knockout Kid" by my side I know we won't fail. (Hero slams his right elbow into his left hand & the 2 walk off.)
The Hurricane and Willie Mack defeated Adam Pearce and Chris Hero when Mack pinned Hero with the Chocolate Thunder Bomb in 0:13:29. Rating: *** [Jesse Godderz interfered against The Hurricane.] [C-Fed interfered against Chris Hero.] [Jese Godderz interfered against Willie Mack.]
After the match: All 4 teams brawl around ringside as the camera goes to black.
Card rating: *** 1/4
Match observations:
Curtis Axel is ready to present his petition to the EWR board of directors. And next week we will have the footage from that meeting. What will become of Commissioner Shane Douglas?
Randy Orton's roll continued tonight as he took down the returning Richie Steamboat. Then he dropped Matt Hardy with a surprising RKO. But how easy will it be for "The Viper" to knock off Hardy in 2 weeks?
Samoa Joe found out that Dolph Ziggler means business & that the EWR champ wants everyone to respect him. In 2 weeks Joe will face Ziggler for the gold. Can "The Show Off" earn the respect of Samoa Joe? Or will he just be another victim for the "Samoan Submission Machine"?
Austin Aries may not have bested Joey Ryan, but, he definately showed his more vicious side. It seems like Aries' path to the top may be destined with a reign as EWR Champion.
This week's main event ended with chaos, as 4 teams brawled to the dressing room. Next week, the rivalries continue, but, this time it will be an 8 man tag team match.
Next week: Willie Mack, The Hurricane & Fed Up vs Adam Pearce, Chris Hero, Heath Slater & Jesse Godderz Dolph Ziggler teams with Matt Hardy to take on Samoa Joe & Randy Orton in an elimination tag team match. Two matches will be held under hardcore rules to determine who will square off in 2 weeks to become the new #1 contender to the EWR title. The Hart Dynasty will seek revenge on The Ascension. Plus the footage from Curtis Axel's meeting with the board of directors.

The show opens with footage from last week of Dolph Ziggler attacking Samoa Joe.
Curtis Axel pinned Richie Steamboat with the Hangman's Facebuster in 0:06:13. Rating: ** 1/2
Instead of celebrating, Axel grabs the ring announcer's microphone and tells everyone that he had his meeting with the board of directors. He demanded that the footage be shown. The video wall goes black and then we are shown the meeting with the EWR board of directors. The camera starts on a door marked "Board Room" and from inside we can hear Axel making a speech. The camera goes inside & Curtis Axel and Shane Douglas are both standing in front of the board of directors. CA: For months now, your hand picked commissioner has abused his power, manipulated talent, and used prejudicial practices to run this organization how ever he sees fit. You will see by all the signatures on this petition that, not only am I here to bring to your attention, but I am here on behalf of men like Austin Aries. A man that Shane Douglas manipulated into thinking he was going to be put into the main event, where he so rightly deserves to be. So gentlemen I appeal to your sense of desency & fair play when I ask you to remove this manipulative, control freak from his position of power & turn it over to a more rational, clearthinking, and calculating man. A man not unlike myself. SD: You've got to be kidding me. Gentlemen of the board if you remove me & put a man like Curtis Axel in charge, this company will be bankrupt by the end of June. I'll admit to manipulating Mr. Aries. I did it to show him that he could be & should be better. I'll admit that I do have a personal dislike for Mr. Axel, but, I have never let my dislikefor him influence my actions against his career. If these practices are grounds for dismissal, then I will gladly resign. But, know this, I would gladly do all of them again as well. The board all lean in to talk among themselves in a whisper. After afew minutes they all sit up & face Douglas & Axel. The chairman is the only one to speak. Chairman: While we cannot fault you for doing what was nessasary to make sure as much of the scheduled matches take place, Mr. Douglas, we simply cannot condone favoritism towards certain parties. And in teaching Mr. Aries a lesson, you managed to ostrisize one of our top talents and he may try to leave when his contract expires. All of those things can be overlooked since you have been doing a fine job in keeping this company running. However, a petition is enough for us to lauch a formal investigation. SD: Investigation? What are you talking about? Chairman: The charges against you, along with this petition full of signatures is what has brought this board to our descision. Mr. Douglas, unless you can find a solution to all of this, you leave us no choice but to suspend you until after the investigatyion is finalized. We regret this descision , but, you have brought it on yourself. Do you have anything left to say? SD: I regret none of my past actions in running this company. I do ask for one last chance to make ammends. If Mr. Axel is so adamant about my dismissal, why not have him be the one that can end it with his own hands. Give me a match against Curtis Axel next week and if he wins, I'll resign as commissioner. The board confers in a muffled grumble among themselves again, and then the chairman sits up straight. Chairman: While your request is somewhat unusual, you have done a great service to us. Therefore, it is granted. You will have your match. Now, if there is nothing else this meeting is ajurned. Curtis Axel is about to protest as the chairman bangs his gavel on the board table & everyone starts to get up. The camera goes back to the ring.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Sami Zayn pinned Bo Dallas with the Helluva Kick in 0:09:11. Rating: ** 3/4
Kris Kloss is backstage with Samoa Joe. KK: Joe, tonight you team up with Randy Orton to take on Matt Hardy & Dolph Ziggler in a tag team elimination match. Do you think that you 2 can coexist as a team? SJ: I don't care about Orton or Hardy. I could care less if they kill eachother tonight, next week, or when ever. All I'm interested in is getting my hands on Ziggler. He wants me to respect him. Well Dolph, it's not gonna happen. I will destroy you & take my title back, but, I will NEVER respect you. Tonight, be prepared for the beating of a lifetime.
The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) defeated The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith) when Konnor pinned Smith after the Fall Of Man in 0:16:53. Rating: ** 1/2 [Natalya interfered against Konnor.]
After the match, Viktor grabs the microphone. V: We know that you're afraid... afraid of us. You're afraid of change. We don't know the future. We didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. We came here to tell how it's going to begin. We are going show the people what you don't want to see. We are going to show them a world without rules or controls, borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice we leave to you. It is our fate to be here. It is our destiny. This is a war and we are soldiers. We are wiiling to show you all the way. Are you prepared? K: We are the Ascension! Welcome to the wasteland!
Brian Cage pinned Evan Bourne with the Weapon X in 0:08:54. Rating: **1/4
Backstage, Curtis Axel barges into the commissioner's office. CA: I don't know what you were trying to pull, but, if you try anything funny during our match next week, I'll be right back in that board room & you'll be history. SD: No can do Curt. You see, I just got off the phone with the board & they told me that your little petition stunt won't be tolerated again. Next time, you'll just have to take your ball & go home. But, you did succeed in one thing, if you do somehow manage to beat me next week, I get to hand pick my replacement. CA: What a joke! Just who are you getting to come in here. From what I heard, you don't have many friends in this business. SD: Who said it has to be a friend? I just want to find someone that is right for the job. Someone that can handle whatever comes his way. And trust me, I have just the man in mind. Now, I suggest you get out of what is still my office. I have some business to take care of. Axel starts to turn red. He starts to say something & then thinks better of it. He then turns and leaves slamming the door. Shane Douglas sits back in his chair & smiles.
The Varsity Club (Shelton Benjamin and Titus O'Neil) defeated Christian York and Zack Ryder when O'Neil pinned Ryder with the Clash Of The Titus in 0:14:19. Rating: ***1/2 Kris Kloss is with Joey Ryan. KK: Joey, tonight you are going up against Austin Aries, with the winner going onto the #1 contender match next week. JR: That's right, after I finally prove who the better man between Aries & I tonight, I will go on to face Sami Zayn in some kind of wild match next week. And you know I'm looking forward to becoming the #1 contender to the EWR Title. KK: But, what about Curtis Axel's petition to get Commissioner Douglas removed from power? Aren't you close friends with him? JR: The commissioner & I are friends. And Curtis Axel's little petition stunt does make me pretty upset. But, two things are coming out of it. #1 Shane Douglas will get his hands on Axel next week. And #2 since I am upset, lucky for me I get to take it all out on Austin Aries.

Match observations:
The board of directors have made a ruling & next week could be that last time we see Shane Douglas in the EWR. But, if Curtis Axel can defeat "The Franchise", he does get pick the man that will follow in his footsteps, or at least take over his job.
Both Sami Zayn & Austin Aries have qualified for next week's big Hardcore final to determine the new #1 contender to the EWR Title. Also just announced: the special referee for that match will be none other than the Innovator of Violence himself: TOMMY DREAMER!

EWR HIGH STAKES
The show opens with a video highlighting last week's show. The video ends & we immediately go to the ring for the opening match.
James Storm pinned Wade Barrett with the Last Call in 0:09:19. Rating: *** 1/2
Samoa Joe is backstage all alone. SJ: Dolph Ziggler, tonight you will learn just what the true meaning of pain is. Tonight, I will destroy you once & for all. Not only that, but, I will take back MY EWR Heavyweight Title. I proved for the past few weeks that you can't stop me, you can't defeat me, and that you don't deserve my respect. You should've given up before it became too late Dolph. Because, tonight, I will break you once & for all. Joey Ryan pinned Bo Dallas with the Mustache Ride in 0:12:45. Rating: * 1/2
Backstage, Kris Kloss is with Matt Hardy. KK: Matt, last week Samoa Joe defeated you in a tag team elimination match. How will this effect your match tonight with Randy Orton? MH: Say what you want, but it wasn't Orton that defeated me. You see, I learn from each defeat and evolve. The Matt Hardy that Randy Orton will face tonight will not be the same man that he has faced in the past. This Matt Hardy will not stop. This Matt Hardy will never give up. This Matt Hardy cannot be broken. Matt gives a wide smile and walks off.

Commissioner Douglas is on the phone as Brian Cage comes into his office & pushes the disconnect button on the phone cutting off the call. SD: I hope you had a damn good reason for that Cage. BC: I don't need a reason. I do what I want and no one can stop me. After what I got done in the ring tonight, you better have a new contract waiting here for me. And it had better include a title shot real soon. SD: Look Cage, I'd like nothing better than to give you what you want. BUT, in case you haven't been paying attention, after tonight, I may not be in charge anymmore after tonight. So your contract is something that you'll have to take up with the Board of Directors. BC: Well, get them on the phone now. SD: I HAD them on the phone when you decided to hang it up on me. Next time I suggest you try alittle patience & use your head. BC: You better watch your mouth or I'll use your head to bust out a wall. SD: You know, it's just that kind of attitude that makes people not want to work with you. Now how about you go find that annoying manager of yours, get out to the ring for your match & I'll see what I can do over the phone. BC: You better not screw me over Douglas. Or I'll be back for you. (Cage leaves but Shane doesn't look too scared)

A video plays through what looks like a nightvision lens, showing The Ascension sitting alone in a dark room. K: Just another rough upsetting day for The Ascension. Just like our whole lives, all the chances in the world with nothing to make of them. We get such headachs because weI don't know what to do. Tonight, The Ascension take on Christian York and Zack Ryder. But, the question keeps coming up: what do we have to do to impress the right people in EWR? Nothing we do is ever good enough for you people. No warning seems to take effect. The screen darkens slightly & a tv in the background comes on showing only static. Viktor turns to look at the tv. A voice is heard laughing then it speaks. Voice: Why don't you make your own opportunity and start hurting people? The tv shuts off & Viktor turns back to the camera. V: Why didn't I think of that all along? We're just gonna take it. EWR, this is you final warning. We are going to take all the opportuniies we should have taken a long time ago. We are the holders of your destiny now. Be ready for tonight (the tv comes back on & the voice repeats "tonight, tonight" then goes back off). Brutallity will reach levels no one has ever seen before. Trust me. After tonight, the whole world will be talking about The Ascension & how we took opportunity in "His" name. They get up & walk away. The tv flickers on again and the voice says "Take it!" The tv goes off and the screen stays on the now quiet empty room. Suddenly, the entire video screen goes snowy.
The Ascension (Viktor and Konnor) defeated Christian York and Zack Ryder when Viktor pinned Ryder after the Fall of Man in 0:15:17. Rating: ** 3/4
As Ryder is helped to the back by his partner, the camera goes backstage to catch up with Tommy Dreamer who is with Shane Douglas. SD: Tommy, I can't tell you how grateful I am that you are refereeing this #1 contender match tonight. TD: Shane, I go where the business is growing to help all those young kids get better. Tonight, I'm here make sure that Sami Zayn & Austin Aries get a fair shake & put on one hellova match. SD: Well who knows No DQ matches better than "The Inovator of Violence"? TD: Well, I have been around the block afew times. I just hope those 2 are ready to put it all on the line. SD: I wouldn't worry about that Tommy. I'm sure they will.
Fight It Out No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Number-One-Contenders-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match with Special Referee Tommy Dreamer: Sami Zayn pinned Austin Aries with the Helluva Kick in 0:15:18. Rating: ****
After the match: Austin Aries gets in Dreamer's face complaining about a fast count. Dreamer stands there & takes the abuse for a few minutes, until he's had enough. Dreamer then shoves Aries back only to be met with a stiff kick to the midsection from the young lion. Aries then pulls Dreamer over to the ropes, and chokes him with the top rope. Just before he succeeds, Zayn returns to the ring & saves Dreamer from being choked out. Zayn then beats down Aries some more, then wraps a turnbuckle in barbwire. Zayn then grabs Aries & repeatedly bashes his head into the barbwire covered pad, opening his a bloody wound. Officials flood the ring to pull them apart, but, the damage has already been done.
A highlight video is shown featuring all 4 teams in the 4 way elimination match & what they went through to get there. After the video, we join EWR World Tag Team Champions: Heath Slater and Jesse Godderz are already in the ring when Fed Up's music plays.

Kris Kloss is with Shane Douglas. KK: Shane, up next you have to take on a man that could be the toughest challenge of your career: Curtis Axel. Now you have the added pressure of also your job as Commissioner on the line as well. How does that all make you feel? SD: If I didn't know better, I would say that you must be someone that never followed my career too closely Kris. Because you know that "The Franchise" thrives on pressure. Curtis Axel likes to concider himself a "Future Legend" but until he's defeated guys like: Dustin Rhodes, Ron Simmons, Tully Blanchard, and countless others. Well, let's just say he's a pretender to the throne. And as for my job, I've had my back against the wall many, many times over the years and tonight, will be no different.I know I'm not as young as I used to be. I know that my skills may have deminished over the years due to injury and father time. But there's an old saying "I may not be as good as I once was. But,I can be as good once as I ever was." It's time for "The Franchise" to remind Curtis Axel and the rest of the world what extreme wrestling is all about.
Shane Douglas pinned Curtis Axel with the Franchiser in 0:16:42. Rating: *** 1/4
Dolph Ziggler is with Kris Kloss. KK: Dolph, earlier tonight, we heard Samoa Joe vow to not only take back the EWR Title, but, to destroy you & end your career as well. DZ: You know Kris, I've heard it all before. The only thing I have on my mind is holding onto this title at all costs. Sure, he's beaten me already, but, the title was never on the line. And you know what they say "the third times a charm". Plus, he seems to forget that he's always just one move away from defeat. Just like everyone else. Tonight, Dolph Ziggler shows the world once again that I am for real.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Ladder Match: Dolph Ziggler defeated Samoa in 0:27:22. Rating: **** 1/4 (Dolph Ziggler retained the EWR World Title.)
Card rating: *** 1/4
Match observations:
The third time was the charm tonight for Dolph Ziggler. Samoa Joe once again was defeated by the EWR Champion. After the show ended, Joe tore apart the locker room in anger. This one looks far from over.
Shane Douglas showed Curtis Axel that he didn't have what it takes to conquer his legendary status, and remains in charge of EWR. Axel looked surprised and alittle in awe of the "Franchise" after the match. Is this rivalry over or will Axel come after Douglas once again?
James Storm & Wade Barrett debuted in a hot match tonight. While both signed short deals, we hope that they will decide to stay on.
Sami Zayn is the new #1 contender to the EWR Heavyweight Title after a vicious street fight which saw Tommy Dreamer make the final count. Can Dolph Ziggler turn back the challenge of the "Underdog from the Underground" after such a brutal series with Samoa Joe?
The EWR Tag champs were able to hold onto the gold in a wild 4 team elimination match when Jesse Godderz eliminated Fed Up to reatin. With such an outstanding performance tonight, can any team stop them?
