I have a desktop with Windows 8 and a laptop with 7 on it. When i try to install TNM on either, it tells me it is incompatible with thecomputers. I tried to use compatibility, but it won't come up when I attempt it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Download dosbox and then install it through there, it should work

Okay. Downloaded doxbox. Followed instructions on mounting a drive and tried to run tnm and it goes to a repeat directory line, but doesn't load the program.

I typed mount C; C:/oldtime (my tnm directory), then tried tnm AND tnm.bat (since there is no .com file for TNM).

From what I know you're supposed to type (in your case) mount c c:/oldtime press enter, type c: by itself, press enter again and run it from there using tnm.bat. Kind of complicated but it's what works for me

I can do it much easier. To install and start the game you have to drag the file symbols of Install.bat and TNM.bat into the DosBox Symbol, and it opens automatically.

Okay. Tried the drag and drop version. It opens DosBox, listing that c: is mounted and something about tnm.bat, but th eprogram still doesn't open. It gives me a dos prompt.
Okay. It says "call tnm.bat", then says illegalcommand start

Strange, i heard about this error before. For me it works, but i don't know why. I installed TNM using this way, and there were no problems.

Should I make an attempt at a fresh install? If I do that, I would have to transfer my data files over to that, if it works.
Is there a specific version of TNM, first edition or second, that is needed for usage with DosBox?
