Since I started with TNM I've kept things kinda basic. As in I have never had any managers running around in my promotion. So my question is, does having a manager in TNM actually do anything ? besides the manager walking out with the wrestler do they do anything during the match or is it more so like an extra body.. I suppose like a dead body near the ring ? The idea of having a few managers started to come to mind recently when I seen (who I personally think) is the coolest manager Father James Mitchell return to Impact... I think he's cool cause he's almost borderline wrestler he's got his own unique persona, I know many managers do. But lets face it James portrays himself very similar to being satan and while he does basically everything he can to live that gimmick he does it extraordinary great. Recently seeing him with a shaved head in Impact Wrestling really does give him a much satanic look and he looks very very similar to Anton LaVey (founder of Church Of Satan) ( wiki) I will also apologize if I'm not allowed to post the wiki link that I did... Was just trying to show comparison so if anyone has issues with it, ya can blame me and not the moderators ...

Heel managers will randomly interfere in their wrestlers matches pretty often. For instance I'm running an early 90s WCW circuit. Paul E. Dangerously manages a few guys. At results I'll get like "Rick Rude defeated Dustin Rhodes ... (Paul E. Dangerously interfered against Dustin Rhodes).

They might interfere but only if their interference seed is high.

I even had a manager put the boots to his own client a couple of times during matches (non-booked). Good excuse to set up a face turn for said client...or just the client going on his/her own.
I remember in one of my old WWF circuits, I had a match between King Kong Bundy and Randy Savage (who at the time was working as a tweener) Bundy actually went over, but during the match Bobby Heenan actually turned on Bundy. Because of this I turned Bundy into a tweener himself (can't really buy Bundy as an outright face) and formed a short lived, but somewhat successful team with Savage.
