Using TNM7 on a Dell laptop. Many times, it works fine. Other times, I double-click tnm7se.exe and it looks like it is going to open: I see the black window, I see the TNM7 SE logo, and then they both go away and nothing is open. Rebooting seems to fix it. But I'm wondering if there's any quick fix to prevent it from happening?
Thanks!

When rebooting seems to fix it, this sounds like it's more an issue with your version of Windows than your TNM. If TNM crashes due to internal data corruption, it will do so consistently, and only when you actually do something in-program. I'm not aware of a single case where the main menu wouldn't even appear in the past 20+ years.
So this leave me kind of puzzled at the moment.
What I could offer you is to have a look at your TNM and see if I can find anything wrong with it. To do so, please ZIP up the entire TNM 7 SE installation and send it to support@tnm7.com via WeTransfer.com. This way I can either fix what is causing this or rule out TNM as a suspect.
I'm always happier when it's something my program does wrong because I can control that. When Windows acts up - and usually it's either Windows Defender or another anti-virus solution being overzealous -, there's little I can do to help.

Okay, cool - and wow, thanks for the offer to look at my zipped TNM! I wouldn't be surprised if it's something with my Windows or the computer itself (I will confess that it is a work computer so maybe they have extra security or other apps that are messing with TNM).
I did just realize though that I wasn't up to date on TNM7 so I'll update and reboot again and see if that changes anything. Thanks again!

Let me know how it goes :-)
Yeah, managed computers are often a nightmare to run software on.
