Just wanted to throw this out there to see other people's opinions. I know most here follow an unwritten rule that you don't use a wrestler past a date he died in real life. But how do you approach having a wrestler that you know is going to die?
For instance, if you were running an AEW circuit from the start, do you sign Brodie Lee? If you're doing a Ruthless Aggression WWE, do you use Eddie Guerrero up until his final days, or Umaga?

I was doing an Attitude Era circuit once and Owen Hart was still on the roster in 1999. But, since he wasn't doing the Blue Blazer gimmick, there was no reason for him to have fallen, so he kept on competing until his contract ran out in 2003. I haven't come across this in any other instance, but I don't see any reason why, for fantasy circuits, you'd have to follow with deaths.

I had Curt Hennig in my NWA TNA circuit which started as mostly unhooked. He won the world title. I didn’t book him to lose but he eventually lost a few weeks before he died. Did a Hennig memorial tournament after

Thought I was going to have to give this issue some deep thought in my WCW circuit but TNM took the decision out of my hands as the wrestler in question quit before it became a factor

It depends how/why the wrestler died, how far before the point of divergence your circuit starts, and miscellaneous circumstances.
Owen doesn't fall to his death if he's not the Blue Blazer. Eddie probably dies of heart problems regardless.
Sometimes it's just depends on the circuit and what feels right. I had a not-too-serious circuit where I continued to use Public Enemy after one of them died in real lie but between "seasons", but after the second one died (also between seasons) I stopped using them and made mention of their passing.
