Okay so when Chris Benoit did the unthinkable WWE decided to remove him from all aspects of it's video library to distance itself from him.
Fast forward to February 2024, Brock Lesnar was mentioned in the latest Vince McMahon lawsuit and WWE removed Brock from being a cover athlete in the upcoming WWE 2k24 game
Do you think that if WWE removed Brock from that, they should also remove that victory he has against the Undertaker to keep the streak alive since Taker is now retired?
Don't ask why I brought up Benoit, I think it's more so of a comparison thing but you can't really compare the two things for what they did, I more so thought in terms of them removing said person from history.

Lesnar is already back on the wwe.com roster page, so basically this discussion has no value anymore.
If it would be possible to erase Lesnar breaking the streak in the history books and out of my mind I would root for it. If the streak would've been never broken I would be fine with it. If the streak would've be broken by a guy who would've needed this to elevate his status to "he has made it, NOW he's a big name" level it would've been even better. But freaking LESNAR? Why? He already was a big name, and most and foremost he was a parttimer at that point so the end of the streak didn't brought anything for anyone while it was a potential starmaker possibility. One of the most easy opportunities to create a new star and one of the biggest opportunities WWE let slip out of their hands.

Very true, however it was posted back when he wasn't on it.
But anyway, I will agree with that the streak should have remained intact and Taker shouldn't have lost.
I don't know if I would have used it as a stepping stone for someone, because it then asks the question "what makes a wrestler stand out?" sure I could ask "what's your favourite match with Taker" and I'm sure many people would talk about the Taker vs Foley Hell In A Cell
But to make a great wrestler I think it has to be more than championships won. Ric Flair won the championship 17 times in his rather long career, John Cena won it 13 times in his much shorter career and it makes the 17 times that Flair won it seems almost laughable when you look at it that way.
But I get it, wrestling looks at the short term rather than the long term.
