TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 03.05.2014
A challenge is made Welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Showdown! The tag team of Melanie Cruise and Awesome Kong had a few choice words for the current Tag Team champions, who last week taunted Cruise and Kong for not going for the tag title when they had the chance (winning War Games). Cruise tells Winter and Valkyrie that they wouldn’t know how it feels like to be the World Champion, as they had never been so. Both Cruise and Kong have, so they know the feeling is indescribable. This does not mean they don’t value the tag team titles, a title they’ve both held twice. That being said, they wanted a piece of the champions, and they wanted it to be for the Tag Team titles - next week on Showdown!
Rating: ***
Kimberly vs Leon
It’s still such a thrill to watch the amazing, Japanese high-flyers Leon and Ray wrestle, be it tag or singles wrestling. I don’t know if Kimberly agreed though, as she almost like car sick from all the flying and jumping around from her masked opponent. A lot of the moves Kimberly tried to put Leon in, was instantly countered in innovative ways. Kimberly was simply too slow to keep up with Leon. She almost got her with the Shuttle 151, but Leon recovered from the stunning setup move, wriggled out and almost got the pin with a sunset flip. After hitting a suplex, Leon went quickly on top to hit her senton bomb finisher.
Leon defeated Kimberly in 02:42 with the Leon Stone Rating: *
Ninja attack Leon was still celebrating when Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews, the Canadian Ninjas, hit the ring and went after the masked superstar. Portia’s piehole was yapping on about how they couldn’t come here and try to steal their spots in the tag team division and as ninjas. Only they could act like ninjas! Ray came out to assist her partner, only to get a lariat from Nicole Matthews. Then, the Martinez’ hit the ring, Rose hitting the Rose Cutter on Portia just as Mercedes threw Nicole out of the ring. As the Martinez and the Ninjas stared daggers at each other, Ray and Leon got up, bumping into the Martinez and getting into a shoving match, something which enabled the Ninjas to grab their legs, drag them out of the ring and send them crashing into the guardrail before they made their exit. Interesting situation, to say the least! Rating: ****¼
Hamada vs Jessica Havock - QoTR 1st round match
This was a rematch from Caged Fury between two fierce rivals, but it was also a match in the QoTR tournament. Last time these two met, they wouldn’t stay within the boundaries of the ring. While they strayed outside today as well, both clearly wanted a proper finish to the match, as another draw would mean that both exited the tournament. It was a classic speed vs power match, with Hamada’s kicks and martial arts offense spicing things up. A moonsault could have ended the match, but Havock kicked out. At one point, Haovck went for a powerbomb on the outside, but Hamada countered it into a rana, sending J-Hav across the floor. The finish came when Hamada tried for a rana in the ring, only to have Havock counter it into a powerbomb for the win. As Havock celebrated Hamada walked away in shame, Havock shouted at her that she was nothing, that it was it the year of Havock.
Jessica Havock defeated Hamada with a sit-out powerbomb in 09:11 Rating: **¾
Show rating: ***
The tag team division is heating up, with the Martinez, the Ninjas and the Japanese girls all getting into a scuffle tonight. Also, Jessica Havock advances in the QoTR tournament by putting Hamada away.
Don’t forget to catch Wired this Wednesday, where The Canadian Ninjas and the Martinez will face each other in their rubber match.

TNAW - Wired! - 07.05.2014
A shocking event at the airport Tonight’s Wired opens with Dave Prazak announcing that they have something important to show us, fan footage from when Britani Knight arrived at Miami International the other night. We see the fan video Britani secretly (since this is not allowed at airports) with his cell phone as she is going through customs. Suddenly, two customs officers and a big German shepherd ask her to step aside. Britani says she has nothing to hide, and let them open her bag. One of the officers pull out a bag with what looks like a marijuana joint. Britani looks shocked and says that she has no idea why that is there. The customs officers confiscate the bag and escorts Britani to another room. The fan is shocked, but is even more shocked when he spots (and films) Saraya Knight, also walking through customs with a smirk on her face as Britani is being led away. Suddenly, two guards shout at the camera man for filming, and the video goes dark. Dave says that later tonight, Dixie Carter will make a statement about what happened at the airport. Rating: ****¾
Madison Rayne vs Taylor Made - non title
After being soundly beaten, nay, thrashed, by Hailey Hatred two weeks ago, Madison really needed a win to get her self-confidence back. And it must’ve absolutely worked, as she put away Taylor in a record-breaking 40 seconds with the Rayne Drop to get the victory.
Madison Rayne defeated Taylor Made after 0:40 with the Rayne Drop Rating: **¾
Short-lived joy As Madison made her way out of the ring, clapping hands with fans, Hailey Hatred came out. She approached Madison menacingly, motioning that she wanted the belt. Madison shouted to Hailey that she wasn’t afraid of her, and that she should come get it. Hailey does as asks, and attacks Madison! The TV Champion puts up a token defense, but the onslaught of the powerful Hailey is too much. Rayne is slammed into the guardrail before Hailey hits a butterfly suplex on the outside, leaving Madison in agony. Hailey takes one, last look at the TV Title before exiting the ring area. Rating: **’¾
Dixie’s statement Dixie Carter is in the ring with a serious look on her face. She says that as they might know, Britani Knight was stopped in the customs coming from England two nights ago. The customs officers found a sizeable quantity of marijuana in her bag. This is, of course, a serious offense, and Dixie has no other option than to suspend Britani for the time being. The investigation is still ongoing, and even if Britani claims to have no knowledge of it, it was in her bag. Dixie says that if found innocent, they will reinstate Britani. Rating: ***¾
Winter & Valkyrie accept Backstage, the TNAW Tag-Team champions are being interviewed by Chasity Taylor, specifically about the challenge made last week by Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise. Winter says that they are not afraid of anyone, least of all Kong and Cruise, who they’ve beaten before. Valkyrie says that even though they have done nothing to deserve it, they will accept their challenge and face them this Saturday on Showdown. As they are about to leave, Kong and Cruise blindside them, and pummels them to the ground. Chasity quickly scurries out the way, and leaves the two teams to settle this on their own. Rating: **¼
Sarita vs Stephanie Smothers - QoTR 1st round
Sarita made her comeback in TNAW a few weeks ago, defeating Stephanie’s half sister Jessie Belle. Tonight she got the opportunity herself to go up against the former tag team champion with an added bonus - whoever got the win would advance to the next round in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Try as she might though, Stephanie did not fare better than her sister, and also had to submit to Sarita’s innovative spinning backbreaker rack. Sarita defeated Stephanie Smothers when Stephanie submitted to the La Reienara in 04:04
Rating: *¼
Athena vs the Valkyrie The Valkyrie has an important match this weekend, when she and Winter defends their tag team titles against Melanie Cruise and Awesome Kong. Their sneak attack on the former champs a couple of weeks ago raised the ire of Kong’s returning half sister, who demanded this match. Valkyrie is an impressive physical specimen, her toned fitness body really showing the crowd what you can accomplish with discipline and a strict regimen of training and proper nutrition. Still, Athena is a great wrestler, with speed, power and agility. Even without Winter ringside, Valkyrie attempted to use shortcuts whenever possible, but the referee was vigil tonight, stopping the villainous Valkyrie time and again. The tag champion was stunned after a spinning leg kick, allowing Athena to ascend to the top turnbuckle to hit her amazing O-Turn, the fantastic diving twisting cutter that dazzled the crowd.
Athena defeated the Valkyrie in 08:45 with the O-Turn
Rating: *½
The Ninjas are besieged Chasity Taylor stands by with Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews, and asks them about the situation they find themselves in now, where both the Martinez’ and the Japanese duo of Ray and Leon are having some issues with the Canadian at the moment. We also see from Showdown this Saturday, when all three teams brawled in the ring. Portia says that they have been targeted due to their skills and experience. The Japanese girls, hiding beneath their demon masks are jealous due to the fact that they are the real ninjas here, not the Eastern team. Nicole concludes the interview by saying that they will put one of the teams down tonight! Rating: ***
Heidi getting ready for her iPPV rematch Chasity Taylor is backstage with Heidi Lovelace, who is stretching and working out, preparing for her big rematch with Serena at Queen of the Ring. She points out that she wants a piece of Serena before that time, however, and challenges her to find a tag team partner for the last Wired before the iPPV, in two weeks time. Heidi would search the locker room herself for the perfect partner to take on Serena. Rating: ** ¼
The Canadian Ninjas vs The Martinez’
After two matches, the score between these two teams was 1-1, and this rubber match was necessary to crown a winner. Rose and Mercedes are getting visibly more cohesive every match, and even if the Ninjas still have several years of team experience on them, the Martinez’ really pulled out some fancy double team moves to rock the Ninjas in the early goings. The ever-so-nasty Portia Perez pulled out a trick or two from her seemingly endless sleeve of cheap moves, and Rose was isolated for a good 5 minutes while the Ninjas were double-teaming her and using quick tags to keep a fresh ninja in the ring at all times. Finally, Rose was able to tag Mercedes, who cleaned the ring and send both her opponents crashing with snap suplexes. Portia rolled to the outside and retrieved something from beneath the ring - a small chain she wrapped around her fist! As she re-entered the ring however, the referee spotted the shiny weapon and told her to remove it. As Portia was forced out of the ring by the observant referee, the Martinez’ put the nail in Nicole’s coffin by hitting her with the Martinez’ Pancake.
The Martinez’ (Rose & Mercedes) defeated The Canadian Ninjas (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez) when Rose pinned Nicole after the Martinez’ Pancake in 11:24

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 10.05.2014
Champs gunning for an advantage Welcome to Showdown! Tonight, Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise will challenge Winter and the Valkyrie for the TNAW Tag Team Titles. Chasity Taylor wanted a word with them on the subject, but they couldn’t say much before Winter and Valkyrie blitzed them, trying to injure one or both of them before the match tonight. Kong’s sister, Athena, came to the rescue though, and chased the attackers away. Both Cruise and Kong thanked her, and she wished them good luck tonight. Rating: **¼
Heidi Lovelace vs Mercedes Martinez - QoTR 1st round match
Martinez recently came out on top of a tag team feud with the Canadian Ninjas, but Mercedes also has a thriving singles career. The queen of the ring tournament is important for all, including Mercedes. Heidi has to juggle her QOTR efforts with her upcoming rematch with Serena, but Mercedes didn’t get a walk over victory in this one, far from it. Heidi showed that she should be taken seriously, by Serena, the fans or whoever steps in her path. This was a short, but intense match with several near falls from both women. The finish came when Serena came out in the aisle. She wasn’t there for long, just enough for Heidi to become distracted and Mercedes to tangle her up in a small package and win the bout. Heidi was not a happy camper afterwards, and told the camera that Serena would pay for this the next time they faced each other.
Mercedes Martinez defeated Heidi Lovelace with a small package after 03:53 Rating: ****
New general manager? Backstage, Chasity stands by with TNA president, Dixie Carter. First, Dixie repeats the fact that Britani Knight is suspended due to the customs official finding a joint in her bag when she arrived at Miami International. Secondly, she confirms the rumors that has been floating around that Britani accuses her mother of having it planted. She says she leaves this to the police. Lastly, she mentions that they will probably hire a new general manager to replace Brooke Hogan later this year. Rating: ***
Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise vs The Valkyrie & Winter (c’s) for the TNAW World Tag Team Titles
Kong and Cruise beat Valkyrie and Winter pillar to post in the opening minutes of this match, almost getting the win with stereo spinebusters. Winter was put through a couple of minutes of torment then, narrowly escaping Kong’s dreaded bear hug when Valkyrie entered and attacked Kong, earning herself a public warning from the referee in the process. Winter’s game plan often consists of softening up the opponents’ back for the spinning backbreaker, but both Kong and Cruise were too big for her to do that on. Valkyrie has her moonsault, and even if she hit that on Cruise, she kicked out. Without the Old Guard to protect them, Winter and Valkyrie looked more vulnerable than ever, and despite Winter trying every trick in the book, Kong and Cruise held on and the inevitable happened - we have NEW Tag Team champions!
Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise defeated Winter & The Valkyrie when Kong pinned the Valkyrie after the Awesome Bomb in 09:23 (Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise won the TNAW Tag Team Titles) Rating: ****½
Show rating: ***¾
Notes:
We have NEW tag team champions, as Kong and Cruise regain the belts the lost to the (then) Old Guard team earlier this winter. How long can they keep the belts this time?
We also have the brackets ready for the QoTR quarter finals, which will kick off next week. The semi finals and the final will of course be fought at the iPPV itself.

TNAW - Wired! - 14.05.2014
New champions celebrate! We open tonight’s Wired with the new tag team champions, Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise in the ring with their belts, having won the prestigious tag team titles for the second time. Kong pumps up the crowd by celebrating on the turnbuckles, while Melanie Cruise says that it was about damn time the belts came home to the two hardest working girls in professional wrestling. At this, Winter and the Valkyrie came out and wanted a rematch for their titles. After some bickering back and forth, they agree to battle for the gold one final time - this time at the Queen of the Ring iPPV! Rating: **
Kimberly vs Serena
Kimberly has been in a huge rut since losing the feud against Madison Rayne over the TV Title, while Serena is getting in shape for her iPPV rematch against Heidi Lovelace. Even though Serena has grabbed the win in all their encounters so far, the bouts are amazing and Heidi is positive her big break is just around the corner. She lurked outside in this match as well, and saw that Serena won with the Spear.
Serena defeated Kimberly with the Spear in 04:32 Rating: **½
Heidi to the attack! Serena should probably have seen this coming, but Heidi Lovelace slid into the ring with a chair, whacking Serena in the back with it. Every time Serena tried to get back to her feet, she was whacked back down. Heidi was acting like a gleeful maniac the whole time, laughing at Serena and telling everyone that at Queen of the Ring, the time was hers. Rating: ¾*
Sightseeing We see footage of Hamada bringing Ray and Leon out to sightseeing in Miami. We see them drive down to Key West, visit an alligator farm in the Everglades and going to Disney World. All over, they meet fans who want to get their pictures taken with the Japanese superstars. After coming back from the video, Lenny Leonard says that Leon and Ray’s unique style has already made them super popular with wrestling fans in Florida. Rating: **½
Allysin Kay vs Hamada
Maybe all the trips was good for Hamada, because she seemed crisp and good to go in this match. Even though she is out of the Queen of the Ring, the former world champion looked pumped and motivated to tackle Allysin Kay head on. She chose a ground-based submission-styled match to fight, and the MMA-trained Kay joined her. What we saw was a different type of catch wrestling, not to everyone’s liking, but a fresh approach to wrestling. Hamada won when she countered a short clothesline with a backslide.
Hamada defeated Allysin Kay with a backslide in 03:21 Rating: **¼
Backstage brawl We quickly go backstage, where Chasity Taylor leads us the parking lot, where three of the newest tag teams are brawling it out. We see Nicole Matthews and Mercedes hit each other with forearms in the centre, Ray leaping off the hood of a car to wipe out both Portia Perez and Rose Martinez, and Leon already out cold on the pavement. Sarita is of to one side taping it all with her smartphone, and she tells Chasity that they have been going on like this for a couple of minutes already. Guards come over and try to separate them, but it is obvious that a turf war between these three teams are raging. Rating: **½
Al Snow for GM? Chasity has a quick chat with TNA personality and Road Agent Al Snow about the available position as General Manager, which Dixie Carter has suggested will be filled later this year. Snow says that it is a difficult position to hold, a demanding job to be sure. You have a host of personalities you need to cater to, financial responsibilities, you name it. But yeah, he would love to do it if given the opportunity. He is positive that he can take this ship to the stars if given the reigns. Rating: ****¼
The Canadian Ninjas vs Ray & Leon The brawl between the three teams we saw earlier led to this match being made on the fly. The Ninjas and the masked joshi girls brawled on their way to the ring, the acrobatic Japanese mixing it up with spin kicks and karate chops. While no slouches, it is evident to all that the Ninjas are far from their silent, agile namesakes. Ray and Leon gradually switched out the gritty brawling with their fancy high-flying, something Portia Perez didn’t feel too well about, clocking Ray in the head with her chain, causing the DQ. The Ninjas continued to stomp away on Ray and Leon, but were chased away by the Martinez’. Rose tried, despite Mercedes warning her not to, to shake hands with Ray and Leon, but they refused and exited the ring.
Ray & Leon defeated The Canadian Ninjas (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez) by DQ after 06:52 Rating: *
Saraya scolds her sons We see footage from England, where Saraya is yelling at her two adult sons for publicly taking Britani’s side on Twitter and on Facebook. The beeping machine is working overtime trying to censor Saraya’s cursing. She reminds her sons who fed them and clothed them when they were kids, and that they didn’t owe their no-good sister anything, but they owed the world to her. She slaps them both, and they bow their head obediently and apologizes. Saraya is quickly turning into the worst mother in history! Rating: ***¼
“The Huntress” Ivelisse Velez vs Saraya Knight - QoTR Quarter Final Match
I am not sure if Saraya knew what she went to in this one, but even though Ivelisse is smaller and lacks years of experience to Saraya, the tenacity and technical skills of the Puerto Rican was giving Saraya a hard time in this match. Saraya usually bullies her opponents with a barrage of strikes and punches, never really letting up. But Ivelisse was prepared for this, and as she ducked, blocked and countered into armbars and other submission moves, Saraya realized that Ivelisse’s MMA training was quite decent, actually. Still, you don’t get to wrestle for over 20 years without having a trick or two up your sleeve, and when the match spilled to the floor, Saraya introduced Ivelisse to the guardrail. Saraya continued to work over Ivelisse’s back, softening it up. Ivelisse mounted a comeback towards the 10 minute mark, hit the scorpion kick and went for the Disdain DDT, but Saraya blocked it and slammed her hard to the ground with a power bomb. She quickly turned Ivelisse over, cinching in the Bridal Rocking Horse for the victory. Saraya is going to the Queen of the Ring iPPV!
Saraya Knight defeated Ivelisse Velez when Ivelisse submitted to the Bridal Rocking Horse in 10:11 Rating: ***
Show rating: **¾
Notes: Saraya Knight is the first to advance to the semi finals of the QoTR, which will be held at the iPPV itself. Who’ll be joining her? We will find out over the next week-and-a-half.
On Saturday, Hailey Hatred will challenge for the TV Title. After their last encounter, how can Madison hope to stop Hailey from taking what she wants?

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 17.05.2014
Athena vs Nikki Storm - Queen of the Ring Quarter Final Match It was time to see who would face Saraya Knight in the semi finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament. Athena has been impressive the last month since returning, and the loud-mouthed Storm got her money worth taking her on tonight. Nikki has not tried to hide the fact that her primary motivation for wrestling is money, and win bonuses and iPPV bonuses are paramount to her. Knowing fully well that a loss here might mean she’ll be off the iPPV, she tried to counter Athena’s hybrid style of high-flying/strong-style by going after her legs, putting Athena in a figure four to weaken them even more. Athena has her sights set on winning the tournament for a second time, and blasted Nikki with several forearms, stunning her enough so that she, on wobbly legs, could ascend the top rope and hit the O-Turn stunner for the pin.
Athena defeated Nikki Storm with the O-Turn in 04:51 Rating: ***
Rundown of the QoTR brackets Dave and Lenny run down the QoTR brackets, mentioning that Saraya will face Athena in the first semi-final, with the other semi-final being between either Britani Knight/Sarita and Jessica Havock/Mercedes Martinez. Both agreed that this would shape up to be a splendid tournament either way, and that we could get a lot of great finals, for example Athena vs Mercedes Martinez, Saraya vs Jessica Havock or… maybe Saraya vs Britani Knight. Rating: *½
Winter & Valkyrie not pleased We go backstage, where Chasity Taylor stands by with the former TNAW Tag Team Champions, Winter and The Valkyrie. Winter takes offense at Taylor calling them that, adding the wording “temporarily without the tag team titles”. Valkyrie says that come Queen of the Ring, the second reign of Kong and Cruise would be as short-lived as the first one. Rating: **
Hailey Hatred vs Madison Rayne (c) for the TNAW TV Title You might think that Madison would go into this match a little intimidated after what happened last match, but with the motto “attack is the best defense”, Madison charged Hailey at the bell, taking her off guard. The initial blitz attack almost resulted in an early win following a running big boot, but Hatred kicked out and got her bearings back. She had planned to win the TV Title tonight, and this sudden burst of adrenaline from Rayne was not part of the agenda. She went on the attack, softening up Madison’s back with slams and suplexes. Rayne had a couple of flash pin attempts, but Hatred’s resolve was too strong. She finally locked in the Chickenwing, but Madison refused to let go. Instead she slowly made her way to the rope, locking her legs around it. Hailey adamantly refused to let go, as she couldn’t believe that her trusted submission move would fail her in this time of need. The referee had no other choice than to disqualify Hatred! Hailey might have been the only one who left the ring on her own volition, but Madison is still the TV Champion.
Madison Rayne defeated Hailey Hatred via DQ in 09:15 to retain the TNAW TV Title Rating: ***
Show rating: **½
Notes: Hailey Hatred’s disbelief that Madison Rayne didn’t submit to the Chickenwing may have cost her the TV Title, but we have learned that they will have a rematch in 8 days on Queen of the Ring.

TNAW - Wired! - 21.05.2014
Hailey promises to be good We open tonight’s Wired! with a look of what took place on Showdown this Saturday, as Hailey Hatred almost defeated Madison Rayne for the TV Title, only to lose by disqualification when the challengers didn’t let go of the Chickenwing. Chasity Taylor now stands by with Hailey, who admits it was a pretty stupid thing to do, but that she would not be as impatient the next time around. The date is already set - and it will be this Sunday at Queen of the Ring. Hailey told Madison to take a long and good look at the TV Title, for this would be the last she ever saw of it. Rating: *
Allysin Kay vs Melanie Cruise Melanie Cruise is now the wrestler with most title reigns in TNAW history, with a total of 5 titles. She’s also currently the tag team champion, but was tonight dominant in singles action as well, using her strength and power to totally dominate Kay before finishing her off with the Burning Hammer.
Melanie Cruise defeated Allysin Kay with the Burning Hammer in 01:52 Rating: ***
Makeshift tag-team ready for a challenge Chasity is in the back with Serena and Ivelisse, who in a few moments’ time will wrestle as a team for the first time, against Heidi Lovelace and Kimberly. Serena says that she has lost track of how many times she has beaten Heidi now. Yes, they have great matches, but in the end, it is always Serena who pulls out the victory. Ivelisse says she’s just glad to be given these opportunities to show how she can shine in the ring, and is looking forward to working with an experienced wrestler like Serena. Rating: **¼
Heidi Lovelace & Kimberly vs Ivelisse Velez & Serena Whenever Heidi and Serena are in the ring together, the matches are always exciting and almost off-the charts spectacular, and this tag bout was no different. Not only did Heidi and Serena bring the goods, the Puerto Rican Ivelisse is really turning some heads around here with her no-nonsense MMA-influenced strong-style. Kimberly is a former TV Champion in her own right, and it looked like she might have put the trouble with Madison Rayne behind her as she was fresher and more dangerous than in a long time. In fact, it was Kimberly who took out Serena just as Heidi hit Velez with a german suplex, keeping her shoulders pinned to the ground just long enough for the 3-count. Heidi takes the last win before their QoTR rematch, but then there will just be the two of them. Can she repeat it then?
Heidi Lovelace & Kimberly defeated Ivelisse & Serena when Lovelace hit Ivelisse with a German suplex in 07:13 Rating: ****
Sitdown interview with Ray and Leon Together with an interpreter, Dave Prazak sits down with two of the newest wrestlers in TNAW, the masked Joshi superstars Ray and Leon. The duo speaks a couple of words of English, but is limited to “How do you do?”. The interpreter is more vocal though, claiming that Ray and Leon have taken the Orient by storm, and will do the same with the west. Dave points out that their speed and skilled teamwork is something which is unheard of in USA today, and wonder where they see themselves in one year. Ray and Leon agree that they will go for the tag team championship when the time was right. Dave reminds them that Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise are two huge women, but the masked twosome has no doubts that they will be able to overcome the height and weight disadvantage and bring back the gold.
Britani released! We suddenly go backstage, where Chasity Taylor stands by with Britani Knight, who earlier tonight had her charges dropped by customs, just in time for her QoTR Quarter Final match against Sarita. Britani is furious and tired-looking, probably from the ordeal this has been for her. Britani says that the charge was dropped due to the fact that they couldn’t find her fingerprints on them - or any other fingerprints for that matter. Britani knows who planted it there though - her mother! Suddenly, Saraya walks up to Britani and points a finger in her face, calling her a drug dealer and a smugler and what not. Britani is almost in tears as she tries to defend herself from the verbal abuse from her mother, but in the end, she runs away. Saraya tells Chasity that Britani should be sent back to the UK. This country wasn’t good for her. Rating: ***
Hailey Hatred vs Hamada
What better way to warm up for her TV Title match this coming Sunday then to face the former TNAW World Champion, Hamada. Hatred might have taken this as a training drill, but Hamada is always a seriously difficult opponent, and tonight was no different. Hamada possesses a combination of strength, technical savvy and high-flying that few wrestlers can match. Yes, Hatred is stronger, but Hamada knew this, so she didn’t go for the power game. Her fast-paced offense early on was soon thwarted by Hatred though, who powered Hamada into the turnbuckle and used her brute force to keep her there. For several minutes, Hatred tormented Hamada, not wanting to ease up on the attack. Hamada did launch a final attack, but when the moonsault missed, Hatred locked in the chickenwing to put this one in the books. An impressive win by Hailey.
Hailey Hatred made Hamada submit to the Bridging Double Chickenwing in 07:42 Rating: **
Hailey doesn’t stop Even if the bell had rung, Hailey didn’t let go of Hamada, and the Japanese was quickly fading away. Referee Remsburg started to get physical with Hatred, who reluctantly let up. As she was threatening the referee in the corner, Madison Rayne ran in and attacked Hatred from behind. The initial attack caught Hailey by surprise, but soon she had tossed Madison to the outside, and was following her out to finish her off. Despite the differences in size, Madison stood her ground, slugging it out with Hailey all the way to the back. Rating: ****
Britani Knight vs Sarita - Queen of the Ring Quarter Final Match
This was from the first match between these two, as they had a series of matches for Britani’s TV Title back in late 2012. Sarita’s failure in capturing the title led to her subsequent dismissal from the Old Guard. The curse of Britani Knight might still have been in the back of Sarita’s head, as she tried to wrap this up quickly with flash pinfalls. Britani, who has had a good day so far with the charges against her dropped, didn’t fall so easily, and rocked Sarita with suplexes and strikes, wearing her down with submission moves. The luchadora had submission moves of her own, and almost locked Britani in the La Reinerara. Britani spun out of it though, kicked Sarita in the gut and then hit the Knight Rider for the win. Britani is going to the Queen of the Ring!
Britani Knight defeated Sarita with the Knight Rider after 09:20 Rating: *** Saraya strikes Britani had just gotten her breath back, when Saraya Knight came out with a microphone, stirring up hell with the crowd on her way towards the ring. She continues to yell at and criticize Britani while in the ring, calling her all sorts of names that are bleeped out. Finally, Britani has had enough, and tackles her mother with a Thesz press. The punches rains down on her, as she feebly tries to defend herself. She rolls out of the ring, but Britani is fast behind her, sending her into the guardrail. Mother and daughter are finally separated by guards - but we are only four days away from Queen of the Ring! Rating: ***¼
Show rating: ***
Notes: Britani Knight is off the hook for what was obviously a planted joint, and she also advanced to the semi finals of the Queen of the Ring after a fine win over Sarita. Who will face Britani will be decided in three days, as Mercedes Martinez face Jessica Havock on Saturday Night Showdown.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 24.05.2014
Tara having a relaxing time Tonight’s show opens with the TNAW World Champion Tara lying on a bench, only covered by a towel. Her boyfriend, Rob Terry is massaging her as she ponders upon who will be her next challenger. Statistically, there is a 50 % chance that the next challenger is from England. Also, Athena has won the Queen of the Ring before. The final semi finalist hasn’t yet been determined.. but it didn’t matter at all, because no matter who Tara would be facing, she would prevail and still be the TNAW World Champion. She would prove dominant with or without the Old Guard.
“The Huntress” Ivelisse vs Sarita Both of these newcomers to TNAW lost in the quarter finals to a Knight. Both have extensive experience working south of the border - Ivelisse in Puerto Rico and Sarita in Mexico. Both had a similar lucha style interspersed with strong-style submission holds. After a nice, little match with crisp holds, transitions and painful locks, Ivelisse managed to tangle up Sarita for the win.
Ivelisse Velez defeated Sarita with a small package after 04:34 Rating: **½
Jessica Havock vs “The Latina Sensation” Mercedes Martinez - QoTR Quarter Final Match While the previous match may have been a showcase match of lucha libre, this was far from it, as both women pummeled each other with what they got in order to advance to the semi finals. Martinez may be playing two games here in TNAW, trying to stack together a decent tag team with her sister-in-law while fighting for more title opportunities on her own. She should maybe focus on one area or the other, as Havock was able to dominate large portions of this match, especially on the outside, where J-Hav was viciously punishing “The Latina Sensation”. In a tag match, Mercedes might have the opportunity to tag in Rose, but here she was on her own. Martinez mounted a good comeback, and almost put her away with the Fisherman Buster. Mercedes tried going high risk after this, but the top turnbuckle is not a place she’s familiar with. She spent too much time getting up, and Havock caught her and delivered a sitout powerbomb for the win. J-Hav is going to the QoTR tomorrow!
Jessica Havock defeated Mercedes Martinez with a sitout powerbomb in 09:21 Rating: *½
Knight facedown As Saraya Knight hit the ring, Jessica Havock bolted, not in shape to handle the crazy Knight matron. Saraya ironically congratulated Havock on making it to the semi finals, and was looking forward seeing her kick her daughter’s head in tomorrow. At this, Britani Knight came in and asked Saraya what kind of a mother wants someone else to beat up her daughter. Saraya tells Britani to shut up, and to remember who her mother is. This is all for Britani’s benefit. One day, she would thank her for it. Britani renounces her mother, saying that from now on, she has no mother. Saraya then says that she (Britani) was never meant to be. She was a fluke, an accident. A hole in a condom. Britani laughs at her mother, saying that she can never hurt her anymore, and that tomorrow, this hole in a condom will be the Queen of the Ring. Saraya told Britani that while her words might not matter much to Britani, she could definitely hurt her physically. Which would happen tomorrow if the faced each other in the finals. Rating: ****½
Show rating: ***
What an intense and heart-breaking facedown between mother and daughter Knight! I cannot believe anyone speaks to their mother/daughter like that, and I cannot imagine the temperature in the ring tomorrow night, if they are to face each other in the finals.
The final card for Queen of the Ring:

Queen of the Ring 2014 - 25.05.2014Shocking announcement from Dave and Lenny Hi everyone, and welcome to Queen of the Ring 2014 here on iPPV. As we begin, Dave and Lenny announce that due to an unfortunate injury suffered at home in England, Saraya Knight has been forced to withdraw from the tournament. Dave said that Saraya got into a barfight home in Norwich, and while she gave as good as she took, somebody hit her in the head with a bottle, causing a concussion. Saraya has been banned from flying over, and will need some month’s rest before she can be back in a TNAW ring. Lenny says that a surprise entrant will be taking her place, someone who wasn’t a part of the tournament in the first place. Rating: **¼ Heidi ready for her big matchChasity Taylor stands by with Heidi Lovelace, who is ready for her big re-match against Serena. Heidi says that she’s doing this for all who didn’t believe in her, everyone who didn’t think she could make it this far. Well, tonight she proves them wrong, as she will defeat one of the most famous and popular women’s wrestlers in the world, Serena Deeb. And then, the world will be ready for “The Vintage Vixen”. Rating: **¼ Britani Knight vs Jessica Havock - QoTR Semi Final MatchI don’t know if Britani is upset about her mum not being here, although at some level she must be worried that her 40+ year old mum is out getting into barfights. Still, the idea of Saraya interfering in your match was gone from her mind, and she could focus on how to overcome J-Hav, who had both size and power advantage over her. In tournaments, you need to consider the fact that you will (hopefully) wrestle again later, and that preserving your strength and health may be wise. Ultimately, preserving too much can cause you to slip in the preliminaries, and you won’t get a chance to wrestle later. Neither of these two thought much about the finals, or so it seemed, as they tore into each other with what they’ve got. Jessica got the upperhand after a minute or two, and targeted Britani’s long legs, trying to take away her agility and kicking ability. Britani has other talents though, and has picked up a thing or two from her mother in the brawling department. Havock went for the Air Raid Crash late on, but Britani slipped out and hit a roll-up for two. A couple of superkicks to the chin staggered Jessica, and the Knight Rider put her away. Britani is going to the finals! Britani Knight defeated Jessica Havock with the Knight Rider in 11:46 Rating: ***¼ Athena vs - QoTR Semi Final MatchHer opponent would be as surprising to Athena as it would to the fans and the announcers. She had prepared for the crazy Briton Saraya Knight, so she might have thought that whoever it is, it would be better. Nothing could prepare her for Sara Del Rey coming out! The former World Champion has been out with injury since losing to the same Saraya Knight in February. Also, Athena’s opponent in the 2012 finals (which Athena won), was Sara. Sara was favoring her back throughout the match, so it was no wonder Athena targeted it for her attacks. Sara, on the other hand, looked bitter and resentful to the crowd, and didn’t bother too much with them, instead focusing on getting revenge on Athena. It wasn’t so much revenge, but I think she just wanted to win back the World Title. You can always make a case that this match was unfair for Athena, but Athena is a big girl who is ready for anything. Tonight, however, Sara pulled out the victory in a match where the “Queen of Wrestling” proved to be back on track in a dominant display of force and skill. Sara Del Rey defeated Athena with the Royal Butterfly in 08:02 Rating: *¼ Chasity talks with the returning DelReyOn her way out of the ring, Chasity Taylor steals a few words with Sara. SDR says that she will accomplish what she failed to do in 2012, winning the Queen of the Ring. That she’s facing the devil spawn Britani Knight in the finals, is just an added bonus. When the crowd boos at her description of Britani, Sara reminds the crowd that it was Saraya who put Alissa Flash on the shelf, and almost accomplished the same to her. Britani was very much a part of it, and the fickle tempers of the crowd was something she wouldn’t care about, anymore. Rating: **¼ “The Vintage Vixen” Heidi Lovelace vs SerenaHeidi’s getting closer and closer to defeating Serena, and did so in a tag team match this Wednesday on Wired. The matches are always entertaining though, with a lot of excitement and fast-paced action. This match was no different, with Heidi targeting Serena’s head, trying to bust her open. An errant elbow from Serena gave Heidi a cut and some stitches back in April, and she looked ready to return the favor. After some action on the outside, Heidi rammed Serena’s head into the ringpost, causing a cut to open on Serena’s head! Heidi dominated the match for a short while now, as Serena was struggling keeping her strengths up due to the blood loss. Serena is a fighter though, and when she kicked out of the Shining Wizard, Heidi lost it and almost got herself disqualified when she pushed referee Mattano. Mattano pushed her back though, and when Heidi got back up, she ran right into a spear from Serena. Serena defeated Heidi Lovelace with the Spear after 05:54 Rating: ***¾ The titles will returnBackstage, Chasity Taylor has a chat with Winter and the Valkyrie, who later tonight will be facing Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise for the tag team titles, in a rematch from what has already been hailed as a match of the year candidate. Winter promises that the belts will return to around their waists. She claims Kong and Cruise is not a proper tag team like them, they were just put together by the B****es in order to mess with the Old Guard. And even though the Old Guard had to break up, look who’s still in TNAW, and who’s not. Rating: *** Hailey Hatred vs Madison Rayne (c) for the TNAW TV TitleAfter the sound beating Hatred gave Rayne in the non-title match a couple of weeks back, it is really surprising that the belt is still around Rayne’s waist. But Hatred went overboard and got herself disqualified. It looked like she had worked hard to control her temper this time around, as she barely gave the ref an evil eye after a two count following a suplex. As their previous encounters, Hatred was the dominant force, and only steely determination and an iron will prevented Madison’s demise early on. As the match wore on, Hatred’s patience wore thin, and she barely resisted the temptation to use a chair she for some reason brought into the ring. As the ref removed the chair, Hailey started choking Madison. The ref was THIS close to disqualifying her for that, but Hailey, who really wants the TV title, begged and pleaded with the referee. This gave Madison enough time to recover, and out of nowhere hit a schoolgirl roll up for the upset win. Madison got out of the ring before Hailey could kill her, to the crowd’s amusement. Madison Rayne defeated Hailey Hatred with a school girl roll up in 11:10 (Madison Rayne retained the TNAW TV Title) Rating: ** Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise (c’s) vs Winter & The Valkyrie for the TNAW Tag Team TitlesAnother title match was next, and it was the rematch between these two teams. The feuds and battles they’ve waged these past months have been nothing less than extraordinary, and their bout tonight also reflected that. From the might Kong standing tall in the ring, clotheslining both her opponents in one fell swoop, to Winter’s skillful and clever manipulation of the referee every time Cruise and Kong attempted a tag, to Cruise’s rapid power moves and Valkyries kicks to the face - this match had it all. The final two to three minutes were a period of chaos and free-for-all action as ref Remsburg completely lost control of the action. Despite the former champs’ attempts at gaining the title back in less than honest ways, a combination power bomb -> flying leg drop put the Valkyrie away and secured the belt with their current title holders. Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise defeated Winter & The Valkyrie when Cruise pinned Valkyrie with a Flying Legdrop in 08:37 (Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise retained their TNAW Tag Team Titles) Rating: ****½ Britani Knight vs Sara Del Rey - Queen of the Ring FinalsEven if Sara told Chasity earlier that facing Britani, the daughter of her sworn enemy, was a bonus, the main prize was without doubt the crown awaiting her on the outside and the promise of a future title shot at Tara. Sara is 100 % professional, and while we could see that there was a little extra venom in the punches, forearms and kicks she delivered to the young Brit, she didn’t let it jeopardize her chances of winning the match. Even though Britani had more time preparing herself for Sara Del Rey than Athena had earlier tonight, she soon found herself unable to withstand Del Rey’s onslaught, and had to focus on staying alive long enough to find a counter attack to Sara’s methodical offense. And slowly, but surely, Britani countered most of Sara’s offense, dishing out elbows and kicks in a desperate attempt of mounting an offensive defense. And even though Sara survived a superkick and even a Knight’s Light brain buster, the match had evened out. Maybe Sara’s long absence from the ring really started to show, or maybe Britani just wanted to win that much more. For when Sara locked Britani in the Royal Butterfly, and posed for the crowd, Britani was quick to hook arms and legs of Sara and tangle her up with a small package to WIN the Queen of the Ring 2014! Britani Knight defeated Sara Del Rey with a small package in 14:29 (Britani Knight won Queen of the Ring 2014) Rating: *** Celebration disturbedAs an overjoyed Britani was congratulated by president Dixie Carter, who came out to oversee the crowning ceremony, Sara Del Rey walked angrily to the back, yet again thwarted at the last hurdle of this tournament. The Briton looked like a young Queen Victoria where she sat in all her regalia, but her moment of celebration was cut short by Tara’s music, as the TNAW World Champion came to the ring with her boytoy Rob Terry. Tara congratulated Britani on winning the crown and defeating her old enemy, Sara Del Rey in the process. Tara reminded her that even though the Crown was a sign of success, she hadn’t won any titles yet, and the job was only half way done. BUT! Since she was such a fighting champ, and honestly, a little bored by not having a match tonight, she was willing to give Britani her title match, right here and now! Dixie protested against this, saying that Britani needed time to rest and prepare, and that she couldn’t have a third match on the iPPV. You could see Britani being in doubt, as she certainly knew Dixie was telling the truth - while at the same time wanting to get into the ring for the title shot. Tara said to Britani that it was up to her, but her dreams could be made true tonight. With that, she turned and walked slowly back up the aisle, looking back at Britani to see if she had changed her mind. Dixie was continually dissuading her, but the youthful brazenness of Knight got the better of her, and she shouted to Tara that she would have the match - here and NOW! Rating: *¾ Britani Knight vs Tara (c) for the TNAW World TitleTara was so pleased with herself for luring Britani to “waste” her title shot right after defeating Sara Del Rey, the Queen of Wrestling herself, in her already second match of the evening. Tara blitzed Britani before the bell, beating on her to make her stay down, while at the same gloating to the crowd and blowing kisses to Rob Terry. In hindsight, Tara should probably have kept the attack going and put Britani away with the Widow’s Peak, for her slow pace allowed Britani to recover, hit a superkick and a Knight’s Light, then in a rush of adrenaline pull Tara back up to her feet and hit the Knight Rider for the 3-count! Unbelievable! Britani Knight defeated Tara with the Knight Rider in 02:59 (Britani Knight won the TNAW World Title) Rating: *½ Show rating: **¼ Show notes: In an unbelievable display of will and skill, Britani Knight is your NEW TNAW World Champion. Tara thought she had tricked the young and naïve Brit to face her at an opportune moment, but the overconfidence from the veteran led to her downfall, and the 11th World Champion of TNAW is also both the youngest (by far) and the first from Europe. Congratulations!

TNAW - Wired! - 28.05.2014
New champ celebrating! A big celebration was being held in the ring, honoring the new TNAW World Champion, Britani Knight. The young Briton comes in to a thunderous ovation, and with tears in her eyes, she tells the crowd and the viewers online that this is really her dream come through, and even if they’re not seeing eye to eye right now, she wishes that her mother was here to celebrate with her. Britani’s celebration is cut short as Tara and Rob Terry enter, the former World Champion telling Knight that the time of wonders is still not over, as her winning the World Title was a complete fluke. Tara tells Britani to have a nice time while she can, the belt is coming back around her waits soon enough. Before Britani can respond, Sara Del Rey enters as well. The returning “Queen of Queens” tells Tara to get in line, and tells Britani that she had two fluke victories that night, and when she clears the ring rust, there will be no more flukes. Britani says that as long as she fluke wins every match, it cannot be a fluke, can it? Britani says she will be a fighting champ, and invites them to agree who will have the first shot. Tara smiles and tells Britani that her mother has taught her well. Despite the lingering animosity between Sara and Tara, she had time to wait a few weeks. Tara lets Sara have a shot this Saturday on Showdown, as long as Tara gets a crack at it (or Sara) later. A seemingly amicable agreement is made, but you could cut the tension with a knife. Rating: **
Taryn is back, backstage ruckus Backstage, Taryn Tarrell hooks up with Madison Rayne. Both have recently became mothers, and they are jabbing on about parenting, when all of a sudden, Hailey Hatred comes into view, clubbing Madison Rayne down. Taryn tries to intervene, but gets thrown into a wall. Not until Serena comes along, her fists flying, does Hailey withdraw, all the time telling Madison that this isn’t over, and that her belt will be around her waist pretty soon. Rating: **
Nikki Storm vs Taryn Terrell Taryn’s first match since her maternity leave. Not only must she have ring rust, she was also clubbered by Hailey Hatred just prior to this match. Nikki Storm is a tough opponent nevertheless, and the loud-mouthed Scot picked up an easy pay day with the Perfect Storm.
Nikki Storm defeated Taryn Terrell with the Perfect Storm after 02:48 Rating: *¼
Sitdown interview Sarita Dave and Sarita have a real good talk in the pre-taped interview, where Sarita talks about wrestling in Mexico, her late manager and companion, Larry Sweeney and her personal curse, which is the new TNAW World Champion, Britani Knight. Sarita says that she still has a few good years in her, and was looking towards winning titles. Rating: ****¼
“The Huntress” Ivelisse vs Kimberly The Puerto Rican is one of the most exciting and new prospects to come to TNAW in a while, and the MMA-trained beauty tangled with Kimberly here tonight on Wired. Kimberly tried to put Ivelisse in her place early on, asserting herself as the veteran of the two here in TNAW. Ivelisse knows that you have to use some stepping stones to reach the stars, and quickly discovered that she was quite able to hold her own against the former TV Champion. The match went back and forth, with also Kimberly trying her own locks and holds in-between other more, dirty-handed tactics. Ivelisse drew the bigger straw here though, as she managed to clasp on the guillotine choke.
Ivelisse made Kimberly tap out to a guillotine choke in 06:13 Rating: ****
One last chance? Backstage, a couple of surly ex-champs are pouting in a darkened corner of the locker room. I am, of course, talking about Winter and the Valkyrie. Winter says that Kong and Cruise’s attempts at playing tag-team had gone on long enough. She could easily admit that they are two impressive physical specimens, but together, they have no team-work. Winter claimed that they were entitled to one more chance at the titles - an opportunity they would not waste! Rating: **¾
“The Wrestling Goddess” Athena vs Heidi Lovelace While Athena did not manage to copy her achievement in 2012 by winning the Queen of the Ring tournament for the second time, she did make it all the way to the semi finals and impressed a lot of peoples. Heidi Lovelace on the other hand, proved that Serena Deeb was still a couple of pegs above Heidi in the pecking order here in TNAW. Despite this, and despite her lack of sportswomanship, Heidi’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. In this match, however, Athena had reasonably good control, and didn’t allow Heidi to mount any of her strike-based offense. A series of reversals and re-reversals ended up with Athena tangling up Heidi for the win.
Athena defeated Heidi Lovelace with a rolling reverse cradle in 03:52 Rating: *¼
Britani Knight discusses the title situation Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with Britani, and asks if she has any thoughts on the title situation. Britani says that she still cannot believe she won the TNAW World Title. She knows that Tara and Sara together has held the title for 50 % of this promotion’s existence, but she was confident in her abilities to defend against both opponents. And this tentative truce between the two was just that, in her opinion, tentative. Britani was looking forward to going one-on-one with the Queen of Queens yet again, this Saturday. Rating: ****
Video greetings from Saraya Video footage airs of Saraya lying at home in Norwich on a couch, a wet towel draped over her head and face. She chuckles at the thought of her baby girl being the world champion, and isn’t very sincere when she congratulates her. Britani knows very well that if she had been there, it would have been a different Knight who brought home the World Title. Saraya tells her daughter that she hopes she hangs on to the belt until she comes back, because it will so much better taking the belt away from her ungrateful hands, than a stranger. Rating: ***
The Canadian Ninjas vs The Martinez vs Ray & Leon A 3-way tag team match closed the show. Mercedes and Rose worked together for a couple of minutes with Ray and Leon. Not necessarily because they’re so great friends, but because the Ninjas are so good getting on people’s nerves. A 3-way is always messy and chaotic, and this match was no different. It was difficult trying to get a pinfall, as there were always someone there to break it up. In the end, the Ninjas became so angry with Ray, that they started brawling with her on the outside. Leon was caught in the ring with the Martinez’, who caught her and took her down with the Martinez’ Pancake.
The Martinez’ (Rose & Mercedes) defeated Ray & Leon and the Canadian Ninjas (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez) when Rose pinned Leon with the Martinez’ Pancake in 11:05 Rating: **
Show rating: ***¼
Notes: Next week, Britani Knight will defend her title for the first time, against Sara Del Rey! We’ve also heard that the Martinez’ will be given a tag title match due to their victory, at a yet to be announced date.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 31.05.2014
The Ninjas ready to stake out their claim Tonight’s Showdown opens with the Canadian Ninjas backstage with Chasity. Portia is irate, The ysaying that those damn Japanese clowns ruined their shot at a title opportunity, and they will pay. A Ninja is a ninja because their cool, and Ray and Leon are not cool. Nicole says that saying that they aren’t ninjas just because their not Asian is racist! The Ninjas warn the Joshi stars that they shouldn’t get in their way, ever again. Rating: **
Melanie Cruise vs Winter We already know that the feud between the tag champs and the former Old Guard team of Winter and The Valkyrie will have one final chapter in a few weeks’ time, but tonight it was Cruise and Winter facing each other in singles competition. The cunning Winter tried to avoid Cruise for as long as possible, but Melanie followed her on the outside, just to be blindsided by The Valkyrie, who was hiding beneath the ring. The ref called for the dq, but Valkyrie and Winter managed to stun Cruise with a series of punches and then double suplex her through the announce table before Kong came to chase them away.
Melanie Cruise defeated Winter by disqualification in 04:58 Rating: *
Britani Knight (c) vs Sara Del Rey for the TNAW World Title The young upstart champion Britani Knight had her first title defense here tonight against the woman she faced in the Queen of the Ring finals, 6 days ago. Sara had used those days wisely, getting rid of even more ring rust and preparing for the match against the young 21-year old. Knight, on the other hand, was just happy for having only one match tonight, and not three. As they fought, the former TNAW World Champion, Tara, joined Dave and Lenny at the announce table. Tara said that no matter who won tonight, it was just a matter of time before the belt was back where it belonged, for the 4th time, no less. As she sat there, she was caressing the title belt as if it was her own. This provoked Britani Knight, who came out to remove the belt away from Tara’s grasp. Sara Del Rey followed her, not wanting to be ignored. In the ruckus, Sara knocked over a glass of water, splashing Tara. Tara struck out at Sara, and a full 3-way brawl was soon on the way.
Britani Knight and Sara Del Rey ended in a no-contest in 07:03 (Britani Knight retained the TNAW World Title) Rating: **¾
Brawl for all There was no love lost between Tara and Sara Del Rey, and while the two of them actually did work together in the start to get rid of Britani, it was more so that they could focus on each other. Tara is still the canny veteran, and blind-sided Del Rey, knocking her out with a chair and smashing her head against the ring steps. She is also still underestimating Britani, and her ignorance was met with a superkick in the jaw. Britani walks out the moral winner, the world title held high. Rating: *
Show rating: *¾
Notes: The problem between these three ladies is far from over. Next week on Showdown, Tara will face Sara Del Rey. Next Wednesday on Wired, Hailey Hatred will go one-one-one with Madison Rayne for the TV Title. Will Hatred suceed in her third attempt?

TNAW - Wired! - 04.06.2014
Sarita vs Taryn Terrell Taryn is back from her leave of absence, and ready to continue her ascension in women’s wrestling. Sarita is also back, and has a lot more experience and accomplishments to her name than Terrell. Quite the efficient display of power and skill by Sarita, who forced the tapout from Taryn early on.
Sarita made Taryn Terrell submit to the La Reienara in 02:38 Rating: *½
Champions with an announcement Backstage, Chasity stands by with Melanie Cruise and Awesome Kong. The tag champions told Winter and the Valkyrie that suplexing Melanie Cruise through the announce table was not OK, and if they really wanted a third attempt at stealing their belts away, they would oblige them in that request - as long as it was made a tables match. Chasity told them they would get their respons from headquarters later today. Rating: ***
Sarita heading for the stars After watching some replays of Melanie Cruise being sent through the table, Chasity is back, this time with Sarita. Chasity congratulates her on her victory, but Sarita says she needs to up her game even more if she’s to win titles or PPV matches here in TNAW. The competition is fiercer than ever, and defeating someone who just came back from maternity leave, is not necessarily a sign that you everything’s perfect. Chasity reminds Sarita that the TV Champion, Madison Rayne, came back from maternity leave not too long ago. Sarita nods, saying it’s a testament to her abilities, but also to the fact that she hasn’t had real challengers for the title yet. We’ll see about that later tonight, as Hailey Hatred gets another shot at Rayne’s gold! Rating: **
Jessica Havock vs “Sassy” Stephanie Smothers With both her father and half sister gone from TNAW, Stephanie Smothers must feel a little alone in TNAW right now. Still, she tries to make a break for herself in the biggest women’s promotion in the world. Tonight, though, she probably felt even more alone than usual, with nobody to help her with words or action against the monstrous predator that is Jessica Havock. J-Hav toyed with her victim.. eh.. opponent tonight, before putting her away with the air raid crash.
Jessica Havock defeated Stephanie Smothers with the Demon Drop in 04:17 Rating: ****¼
Rob Terry sticks up for Tara In a pre-taped video segment starring Lenny Leonard and Rob Terry, Tara’s boyfriend-boytoy tries to hurt the British World Champion’s feeling by making fun of their common home country of England. We see Rob and Lenny Leonard (dressed up as the Queen herself) at a tea-party, eating fish and chips and imitating anyone from Monty Python to Hugh Grant. At the end, Lenny Leonard asks Rob Terry if he knows he’s from England too, right? Terry looks at him angrily and declares himself an American at heart! Rating: *½
Sitdown interview with Sara Del Rey Both Dave Prazak and Lenny Leonard were present at this pre-taped interview with former two-time TNAW World Champion, Sara Del Rey. They ask her about the injury situation, and Sara admits to having pains in her lower back and hip area after Saraya Knight’s relentless attack. Despite the obvious motive, Sara denies being the one who gave Saraya a concussion in England. Sara talks about becoming the World Champion for the third time and defeating Britani Knight. Right now, Sara feels alone in the world, without any friends or allies as Alissa Flash has left. Mercedes Martinez abandoned them in their time of need, so she knew she couldn’t count on her. Sara told Britani and Tara to stay out of her way, as the title was coming home to the Queen of Wrestling. Rating: **½
Leon vs Nicole Matthews The heat in the tag-team division is heating up again, as the Canadian Ninjas are really having a war of words with the Japanese duo of Ray and Leon about the use of the name ‘Ninjas’, which the eastern duo feels is misplaced on the Canadian twosome. Not so much a national or ethnic thing, more that they feel that Portia and Nicole aren’t close to being ninjas in style and skill. Tonight, Leon and Nicole went at it, and with the new and stricter regulations in place, their partners were nowhere to be seen. Rumors float that a lot of wrestlers are applying for a manager’s license in order to accompany their friends and allies ringside, but time will tell if the TNAW management will be lenient in this regard or not. This match was a match of strength vs. agility, a battle agility one this time around.
Leon defeated Nicole Matthews with the Mad Frog Splash in 06:39 Rating: *½
Nikki is rejected Backstage, Nikki Storm approaches the TV Champion Madison Rayne. After first trying to give Madison some compliments, but failing due to lack of honesty, Nikki cuts to chase and tells Madison that she needs a bodyguard now that Hailey Hatred wants to kill her. Since her former employer, Brooke Hogan, is out of the company, she is now available for a reasonable price. Rayne tells her that won’t be necessary, and walks away. Nikki is furious, not used to getting turned down like this! Rating: **
Hailey Hatred vs Madison Rayne (c) for the TNAW TV Title This was Hailey’s third attempt at the TV Title, and yet again, we saw a few opening minutes where Hailey completetly thrashed Madison. But, unlike the two previous encounters between the two, Madison was fighting back with more and more vigor, using Hailey’s size and momentum against her, forcing her to the ground and striking quickly and decisively. Still, you could see her strength being sapped away by the massive attack. A brain buster almost put the title around Hailey’s waist, and the big blonde almost snapped at this, going outside to retrieve a chair. The referee got pushed out of the way as Hailey set up the chair in the ring, only to be drop toe held into it by Rayne. A small package later and Madison retains the title - again!
Madison Rayne defeated Hailey Hatred with a small package in 10:15 (Madison Rayne retained the TNAW TV Title) Rating: ***
Hatred not done Hatred was stunned long enough for Madison to take advantage of that, but she wasn’t down for the count, and clobbered Rayne in the back as she was getting her belt. Hailed continued the attack, chokeslamming the champion on a chair. As she was locking in the Chickenwing, Serena Deeb ran towards the ring to break it up, attacking Hatred with a barrage of punches that sent her reeling and towards the exit. Serena and Madison stood tall as Wired went off the air! Rating: ***¼
Show rating: *’½
Notes: Hailey Hatred fails in her third attempt at taking the belt away from Madison Rayne, was this her final shot?
This Saturday on Showdown, Tara and Sara Del Rey will face each other in the main event to decide who is the undisputed top contender to young Britani Knight’s title.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 07.06.2014
Ray & Leon visiting a real ninja school In the opening video, Ray and Leon are seen at a ninja school in Japan. We see many young boys and girls go through a series of highly challenging tests, succeeding with grace each and every time. At the end, Ray and Leon ask them (in Japanese) about the “Canadian Ninjas”. The kids and adults laugh at this idea. Rating: ****
Hailey Hatred & Nikki Storm vs Madison Rayne & Serena Hatred has tried several times now to defeat Madison Rayne and take the TV Title away from her, but has failed each time, despite having dominated all the matches. Word is that Hatred’s patience is wearing thin, and Nikki Storm had the unfortunate honor of teaming up with her tonight. Knowing Storm, she doesn’t care as long as she’s paid. Storm was brusquely rejected by Madison Rayne last week, when the Scot tried to point out that Rayne needed some paid protection. Who came to her aid though, and that completely for free, was the fan favorite Serena. Hatred warned Serena of getting in her way, and it looked like Hailey was targeting Serena more than Madison in this one, to be honest. The end came as Nikki and Madison was brawling on the outside. Serena missed the spear, ramming her shoulder into the ringpost. Hailey brought Serena down in her lethal submission move, forcing the tap-out from Serena, already in pain from hitting her shoulder on the post.
Hailey Hatred & Nikki Storm defeated Madison Rayne & Serena when Hatred made Serena submit to the Double Bridging Chickenwing in 03:54 Rating: *½
Top summit in the ring After commercial, Dixie Carter stood in the ring with Sara and Tara, awaiting Britani Knight. The owner of TNA said that we had a unique situation, with two experienced veterans chasing the young prodigy for the most coveted prize in the business. Tara told Dixie she wanted her rematch, tonight! Dixie answered that Tara actually gave her rematch to Sara the other week, knowingly or not. Tara and Rob Terry protest at this, and even Britani Knight buts in, saying that she is not afraid of facing Tara again. Dixie says a contract is a contract, but that she will let Tara and Sara face each other now to find Britani’s next opponent. Rating: *¼
Sara Del Rey vs Tara These two have waged so many wars in the past that they know each other in and out. They’ve faced each other three times over the World Title, Sara being up 2-1 on that statistics. History is history, however, and the two enemies didn’t mind tearing each other apart anew to see who would face Britani for the World Title. Tara was furious, all the time she felt that she was the rightful top contender due to her rematch clause. Rob Terry being evicted for distracting the referee was also a big blow to Tara, especially as Britani Knight was allowed ringside as a guest announcer. Knight said she didn’t care who won, as she would succeed in defending her title against whoever came out on top. When Sara almost got herself dq-ed for choking Tara on the ropes, she got a scolding from the referee. Meanwhile, Tara fished out a chain from her boot, something only Britani Knight saw. She jumped up on the apron and yanked the chain away, knocking Tara away. SDR didn’t see the entire situation, but reacted with anger at Britani Knight interfering, and walked over to knock her down. This allowed Tara to hit an O’Connor roll, pull the tights and win the match. As she left the ring, she thanked Britani for the help, but told her she would still pin her for the title. Britani looked far from happy, and neither did Sara Del Rey.
Tara defeated Sara Del Rey with an O’Connor Roll after 07:19 Rating: ***
Show rating: **½
Notes: The threeway drama for the World Title is heating up, as Tara is now the official top contender and will be facing Britani in 14 days. Wired this Wednesday will see the World Champion in non-titles action, while the tag team titles will be contested in a tables match next week on Showdown!

TNAW - Wired! - 11.06.2014
Made in Sin vs The Martinez’ We kick things off with tag-team action, as the Martinez’ sister-in-laws are in action against the tandem of Allysin Kay and Taylor Made. The goth look of the zealous tag team is more impressive than their win/loss record here in TNAW, but they did manage to isolate Rose for quite some time, almost putting her away with both power moves and submission. Young Rose is a feisty one however, and stayed alive long enough to tag in her more experienced and powerful sister-in-law. With Mercedes at the helm, the team gained control of the match, and the Martinez’ Pancake was yet again brought to the table. After yet a victory, the Martinez’ must be considered contenders to the tag team titles!
The Martinez’ (Mercedes & Rose) defeated Made in Sin (Taylor Made & Allysin Kay) when Rose pinned Made after hitting her with the Martinez’ Pancake in 05:49 Rating: ***¾
Jerry Lynn on becoming General Manager Backstage, Chasity Taylor talks to veteran road agent Jerry Lynn about the vacant General Manager position, and whether or not he will apply. Jerry says that he can contribute to a lot within the wrestling industry, but he has never been one for politics, and know there are others who like the sound of their own voice better than him. He would not consider applying or running for this position. Rating: ***
“The Huntress” Ivelisse vs Sarita A little Latin tango in this match, as the Puerto Rican Ivelisse faced the “Mexican” Sarita. Even though she’s Canadian by birth and citizenship, Sarita lives and competes most of the time in Mexico. With similar styles, this was a good contest to test each other’s mettle, but both wrestlers chose to wrestle a rather slow pace, which didn’t sit too well with the crowd. A series of armdrags increased the temperature somewhat. Sarita inched her way towards locking in the La Reienara, but Ivelisse managed to find a way out of it, and instead hit the wheelbarrow DDT that has put so many of her opponent’s away. A huge win for the young Huntress!
Ivelisse defeated Sarita with the Disdain DDT in 05:11 Rating: **
Sore loser Ivelisse was, perhaps, a little slow getting out of the ringside area, as she was clapping hands of the fans and blowing kisses to the camera. Out of nowhere, Sarita blindsided Ivelissa, sending her into the guard rail. Sarita then delivered a hefty string of Spanish curse words in Ivelisse’s direction. Sore loser, anyone? Rating: **½
Rose praising the champ Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with Rose Martinez, congratulating her on the fine win tonight. Rose says she’s happy teaming with her terrific sister-in-law, and that they are hoping to become tag team champions. Rose says that with hard work and determination, you can achieve anything, something that Britani Knight has proved. Rose praises Britani, her hard work and exceptional talent. Her nice words must be music to the ears for Britani, but not for Sara Del Rey, who happens to come by. Del Rey grabs hold of Rose, telling her that Britani and her mother have terrorized this company from the start, and injured both herself and Alissa Flash, two good friends of her sister-in-law. Sara tells Rose to get her priorities straight, pushing Rose hard into the wall. Rating: **¼
Nikki up for the title On her entrance before her match, an interview with Nikki Storm airs. The Scot, who recently was rejected as a bodyguard by TNAW TV Champion Madison Rayne, says that she’s ready to feel the gold around her waist again. Her two brief spells as champion were way too short, and the next time, it would be forever! She told Madison to watch out. Rating: ***
Athena vs Nikki Storm Athena is one of the most agile and athletic women on the roster, and she wanted to use that strength against Nikki tonight. Unfortunately, Nikki knew exactly how to counter that, as she managed to hit a devastating kneebreaker on Athena early on, reducing her jumping ability to a minimum. Athena fought on with the limbs she could muster, but Nikki’s methodical pace and attacks wore her down. Ignoring the stinging pain in her knee, she did manage to send Nikki down with a handspring back elbow, and she desperately went on top to try the O-Face. Due to her leg, it took way too long, and Nikki managed to place Athena on her shoulders, hitting the Perfect Storm for the win.
Nikki Storm defeated Athena with the Perfect Storm in 08:50 Rating: ***¼
Mercedes confronts Sara We are backstage, where Mercedes has a word or two to say to Sara Del Rey. Mercedes pushes Sara into a locker backstage, telling her to back off with Rose. If Rose wants to praise Britani, it’s not Sara’s problem. Neither she nor Mercedes wanted to get involved in Sara’s private war with the Knights. Sara accuses Mercedes of being a coward, while Mercedes responds with “where were you when I was injured, huh? You never came to see me, not once!” Not all is good with the former amigas. Rating: ***¼
Britani Knight vs Kimberly - non-title match Britani has enough contenders for her title, but sometimes need to wrestle matches without that much at stake. Granted, if Kimberly would pull an upset and defeat the World Champion here, you could have a situation with three valid contenders to the title, but even though the former TV Champion had her moments in the match, it was clear to everyone that Britani Knight had full control, finishing off with the deadly Knight Rider.
Britani Knight defeated Kimberly with the Knight Rider in 05:10 Rating: *
Tara has a few words to Britani After her win, the top contender to the TNAW World Title, Tara, came out. Tara congratulated Britani on her win, and thanked her yet again for the help against Sara Del Rey. Britani points out that she didn’t help her, she would never help her! Tara tells Britani to shut up and listen when adults are speaking. She reminds Britani that Tara was a grown woman when Britani was born. The Brit then asks Tara if she’s saying she’s old. Tara consistently gets her words twisted and turned by the young champion, and it is obvious that she is uncomfortable being out there, as everyone is laughing at her. In the end, she snaps and hits Britani with the microphone, but Knight sees it coming and blocks. The barrage of fists sends Tara scurrying away, and a clothesline takes her over the top rope. A good mental victory for Britani, this. Rating: *½
Show rating: **¼
Notes: Don’t forget the Tag Team Title match this coming Showdown, which will be contested under Tables Rules.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 14.06.2014
Ivelisse hates sore losers! We see footage of Sarita’s post-match attack on Ivelisse this Wednesday on Wired, and then go to Chasity Taylor, who has a few words with the Puerto Rican. “The Huntress” says that she beat the veteran fair and square, and she just hates sore losers. In fact, she will make Sarita her next target. Ivelisse tells Chasity to mark her words, she will make Sarita her bitch. Rating: **½
Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise (c’s) vs Winter & The Valkyrie in a Tables match for the TNAW Tag Team Titles Their series of matches have been going on for quite some time, but after Winter and Valkyrie sent Kong crashing through the announce table a few weeks ago, the stage was set for a tables match. Several tables were propped up around the ring, and some lay under it. It didn’t take long for some to be set up inside the ring, both teams trying to have one of their opponents crash through the table for the victory. Kong and Cruise had the size advantage in this one, as their opponents had to be two people to accomplish the winning conditions. They almost succeeded with Kong, but she resisted, and instead suplexed both her opponents! Despite using underhanded tactics for most of the match, the burden of fighting two much bigger opponents soon took its toll on Winter and Valkyrie. Setting up two tables in the ring, Kong and Cruise sent their opponents crashing through them simultaneously, ending this rivalry once and for all.
Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise defeated Winter and The Valkyrie in a Tables Match when Kong hit the Awesome Bomb on Winter through a table and Cruise hit The Valkyrie with the Burning Hammer through a table in 09:49 (Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise retained the TNAW Tag TeamTitles) Rating: ***
Sitdown interview with Britani A pre-taped interview with Dave Prazak and Britani Knight airs. The young champion says she’s living the life now as the champion of the biggest Woman’s promotion in the world. Being targeted by two veterans such as Tara and Sara Del Rey is challenging, but it is a challenge she welcomes. On the topic of her mother, Britani is hoping that the concussion can knock some sense into her head, and that when she returns to the ring, she will again be the loving and caring mother who has supported her throughout all these years. Rating: ***¼
Hailey Hatred vs Serena Hailey is one pissed-off mean b**** these days, which is ironic considering who Hailey and the Old Guard fought for much of this year. Serena sticking her nose into matters it didn’t belong was not appreciated at all by Hatred, and this match was a slobberknocker from the get-go. Hatred knows how to wrestle, but chose to fight a brawl tonight, pummeling Serena. When Serena hit back, Hailey became even more furious, and ended up pushing the referee when he tried to get her out from the corner, causing the DQ. This didn’t stop Hailey and Serena though, who brawled still when the show went off the air. Rating: *

Notes: We’re only 1 week away from the World Title shot between Tara and Britani Knight! Can the young Briton retain the belt against a Tara who most certainly will not underestimate her opponent this time around?

TNAW - Wired! - 18.06.2014
Portia Perez vs “Sassy” Stephanie Smothers While primarily a tag-team wrestler, the canny Canadian also is an accomplished singles wrestler, despite her small stature. She proved that tonight against Stephanie, who never stood a chance with Portia’s shenanigangs and shortcuts. After a particularly effective thumb to the eye, she connect with the superkick for the win.
Portia Perez defeated Stephanie Smothers with the Superkick in 02:50 Rating: **
Where’s my title shot? Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with Nikki Storm. The Scot reminds everyone that two weeks ago, she defeated the TV Champion in a tag match. Still, she hadn’t heard anything about when her title match was due. Chasity asked if maybe that didn’t necessarily qualify her for a title match, but Nikki shushes her away, accusing Madison for being a coward, as she knows she’ll lose the belt if she goes up against her. Rating: *****
Interview with Sara Del Rey After that clear message from the Scot, Chasity stands by with Sara Del Rey. The former two-time World Champion says that her life and career has seen better days, but that she’s determined to do the best she can. That includes defeating that upstart Knight and regaining the TNAW World Title. Sara said she would do this for herself and for Alissa, and that she was sorely disappointed in Mercedes Martinez leaving her out to dry. She really had no allies left here in TNAW. Rating: ***
Ray vs The Valkyrie This was another singles match with two tag-team wrestlers in it. It was the power of the Valkyrie against the quickness and agility of Ray. Valkyrie was on her own tonight, and everyone is speculating that Winter and Valkyrie have split up. The loss in the table match and the uncertainty of where her career is going, was perhaps one of the deciding factors in this match. A tornado DDT brought down the Valkyrie long enough for Ray to ascend the top ropes and hit a beautiful shooting star press for the win.
Ray defeated The Valkyrie with a Shooting Star Press after 04:24 Rating: ****
Not so fast! Ray couldn’t celebrat for too long, as the Canadian Ninjas hit the ring, clubbing Ray in the back and putting the boots to her. The war between the Ninjas and the eastern duo has been going on for several weeks now, the Ninjas eager to prove to the Joshi stars that Canadians can, in fact, be ninjas. Leon and the Martinez’ come out to stop the fracas, the Ninjas escaping with their tails tucked between their legs. Rating: *¼
Made in Sin & Jessica Havock vs The Martinez & Taryn Terrell It was time for six-woman action, as Made in Sin had made a real scoop in getting Jessica Havock on their side. The Martinez’ had Taryn Terrell to back them up, a relatively young and inexperienced wrestler who is also on her way back from giving birth. Despite being the top contenders to Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise’s titles, the going was rough for The Martinez, despite the improved team-work between the sister-in-laws and the raw power that Mercedes brings to the table. And while it was not the preparation for their tag-title match she was hoping for, Martinez could not avoid being pinned by one of the most dangerous women in the game.
Made in Sin (Allysin Kay & Taylor Made) & Jessica Havock defeated The Martinez’ (Rose & Mercedes) & Taryn Terrell after 05:47 after Jessica pinned Mercedes after the Choke Slam. Rating: ****
Madison Rayne not afraid of Nikki Backstage, Lenny Leonard stands by with Madison Rayne, who denies any allegations that she’s too much of a coward to face Nikki Storm. She says she’s a fighting champion, and has told the booking committee that she will gladly face whoever makes a challenge. However, it seems as if they have a different idea, as she is scheduled to face whoever wins tonight’s battle between Winter and Athena, next week. Madison tells Nikki that she plans on being champ for a long time, and that she will get her chance. Rating: ***
Serena has a few words for Hailey Hatred The music for Serena plays, and she enters the ring with a microphone. Serena says that she is a person who believes in fair play and equality. She doesn’t want to be considered a superhero, but she admits she does what she can to help others. Madison Rayne beat Hailey Hatred fair and square - three times in the ring for the TV Title. Now, Serena’s experience has led her to face many opponents over the years, and even though Hailey is bigger, stronger and more powerful than her, she knows a trick or two. So if she’s itching for a fight, she will be backstage all night. Rating: ***
Athena vs Winter The match wasn’t billed as such, but according to Madison, this could be seen as some sort of top contender match for the TV Title. Winter had just lost the Tag-Team title, but the veteran Brit was surely already looking for new gold to put around her waist. And while Athens is younger, faster and more athletic, Winter is probably one of the smartest wrestlers in the business, using very little energy to get ahead in the match, manipulating the referee and the ring to her advantage. Like when the referee got between her and Athena in the corner, leaving a blind spot for Winter to poke Athena in the eye. Still, despite all her intelligence, she is not infallible. Towards the end, Nikki Storm came down to file an official protest on TV that she was not a part of this “top contenders match”. Winter, who was in control at this points, started jaw-jacking with Storm, and as the case usually is between Scots and Brits, the argument becomes political. Well, this allowed Athena to climb the top rope and hit the O-Face on Winter, winning the match.
Athena defeated Winter with the O-Face after 07:10 Rating: *
Contract signing We’re back from commercial, and the ring is dressed up for the big contract signing between Tara and Britani Knight, who will be wrestling for the TNAW World Title on Showdown in just three days. The champion was out first, and eagerly awaited the challenger. Tara came down sans Rob Terry, and grabbed the opportunity to once again thank Britani for the help she got against Sara Del Rey a couple of weeks back. Britani tries to explain she didn’t get involved to help Tara, but she is interrupted by the music of Sara Del Rey, who came out and berated Britani for helping Tara, someone everyone knew had terrorized TNAW for almost two years with her Old Guard. Britani tried to get a word in, but couldn’t. She responded by slapping Sara and grabbing her microphone, but then the brawl was underway. Tara soon involved herself, toppling the desk and hitting Del Rey with it. The chaos spilled to the outside, and Dixie Carter had to lead a bevy of security guards to stop the threesomes. Dixie ended the show by saying that even though a signature was never put down, the match would be taking place as normal, this Saturday! Rating: **¾
Show rating: **¾
Notes: The World Title picture is heating up, and this Saturday Tara will have her rematch against Britani Knight. The TV Title is also a very popular belt these days, with Athena being touted as the unofficial top contender. Next Wednesday, she will meet Madison Rayne in non-title action, and a victory will most certainly catapult her into a title match.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 21.06.2014
GM Candidate interview Tonight, Chasity Taylor talks with another veteran grappler who now finds himself in a backstage role in TNAW. Pat Kenney admits he has thought about the idea, but like Jerry Lynn last week, he has come to the realization that he is a perfect trainer and road agent. Why mess up something that is perfect? Besides, he says, GMs tend to quickly become power hungry tyrants. Right now, TNAW is better than in a long time, and that is without a GM. Rating: **
Awesome Kong vs Heidi Lovelace With Winter and Valkyrie off their backs for good, the tag team champions are living a calmed and relaxed life as the top dogs in the tag team division. Still, it is good to test their mettle in singles competition from time to time, as Kong did tonight against Heidi. While Lovelace advanced her career through her brilliant matches with Serena, she was less than brilliant tonight, and fell easily to the Awesome Bomb.
Awesome Kong defeated Heidi Lovelace with the Awesome Bomb in 01:50 Rating: **
Backstage ruckus We go straight from the match to the backstage area, where the cameras catch Hailey Hatred and Serena brawling throughout the corridors. They are really slugging it out, and staff and wrestlers alike are getting out of the way as the two of them fight it out. Hailey is about to powerbomb Serena through a catering table, but Serena blocks the attempt, and instead backdrop Hatred through it. The enmity between these two is really heating up! Rating: **¼
Britani Knight (c) vs Tara for the TNAW World Title It was time for the world title match. One thing was for sure - Tara did not underestimate Britani this time. On the other hand, Britani hadn’t fought two matches earlier in the night, so one would think this favored the champion as much as the challenger. Rob Terry was nowhere to be seen either, so Tara was flying solo. For several minutes, she controlled the young champion, 100 % foucsed on the task ahead of her - regaining the title. As Britani kept kicking out, reaching the ropes and making life difficult for Tara, her focus slipped a little, as the referee was verbally berated time and time again. Britani went on the offensive, rocking Tara with a series of dropkicks. She went for a superkick as well, but Tara dragged referee Remsburg in front of her. The fight went on, but a third person involved herself, that being Sara Del Rey. Britani had just connected with the superkick on Tara, when Sara knocked out Britani with the title belt. She then draped Britani over Tara, and revived the referee who made the count.
Britani Knight defeated Tara via pinfall in 11:24 (Britani Knight retained the TNAW World Title) Rating: ****

TNAW - Wired! - 25.06.2014
Canadian Ninjas vs Taryn Terrell & “Sassy” Stephanie Smothers The last Wired ever started out with Portia and Nicole taking on the makeshift tandem of Taryn and Stephie. The Canadians, who have made multiple enemies in the tag divison, not the least of which is Ray and Leon - the Japanese newcomers who have taken offense at the Canadians calling themselves ninjas. Taryn and Stephie didn’t gel that well together, and made a couple of mistakes that made the job even easier for the efficient team who have been working together for years.
Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews) defeated Taryn Terrell & Stephanie Smothers when Matthews pinned Smothers with the Funky Cold Medina after 04:41 Rating: ½*
An unholy alliance Backstage, Sara is working out in the gym, when Tara approaches her. Sara jumps up, ready to fight, but Tara asks to talk to her. She said that she doesn’t care which one of them is the world champ, as long as that British upstart isn’t. She proposes a truce and an alliance in which they work together to kick her off the throne. Sara tells Tara she doesn’t need an ally to do just that. She is alone, and that is something she is getting used to. Rating: ***
Ivelisse - a nobody? Chasity Taylor wants a word with Sarita, who brutally attacked Ivelisse after losing to her a couple of weeks ago. Sarita says that Ivelisse is a nobody, and she just got lucky. Sarita explains she attacked her so that nobody would believe she could ever amount to anything. If she knew what was good for her, she would let it go and try to find someone else to worry about. Rating: **
Kimberly vs Melanie Cruise The TNAW Tag Team Champion in singles action here tonight. The big Cruise might not be in the same form as she was when she won the TNAW World Title, but she is getting there. Kimberly stayed in the game for as long as she could, but fell quickly enough to the Burning Hammer.
Melanie Cruise defeated Kimberly with the Burning Hammer after 03:03 Rating: **½
Who needs friends? The ever so news hungry Chasity Taylor has gotten wind of an argument brewing in the back, and we see Mercedes and Sara Del Rey yelling at each other. Mercedes is accusing Sara for allying herself with someone they always saw as the enemy, Tara. Sara denies any alliances, that includes an alliance with her. Mercedes tries to reach out to Sara, telling her that it sucks what Saraya (and to an extent Britani) did to her and Alissa, but she tells her to let it go. Sara refuses, and tells Mercedes that this is the reason why they’re not friends anymore. Cause she’s a coward. Rating: **
Baby meet and greet A video is shown of Taryn Terrell and Madison Rayne are having a cup of coffee, both their daughters present. Both express great joy in being mothers, and talk about the amazing feeling it is to have such beautiful daughters. The topic then changes to if they want to become wrestlers, and they are playing a “What if”-scenario in which the two daughters face each other for the TNAW World Title in 2044. Madison Rayne says she’s sure her Charley would win, but Taryn would put her money on Emerson. Rating: *¼
Athena vs Madison Rayne - non title match Rayne has many potential challengers for the TV Title, one of which is “The Wrestling Goddess” Athena. Madison got a taste of her kicks here tonight, as the strong thighs of Athena was really put to use against the champion. Athena knew that a win here would put her at the front of the queue, and would not budge. Madison has fought tooth and nail to keep the belt around her waist, and showed strength when she hit Athena with a DDT, just after avoiding the O-Face. Athena kicked out and soon got on the offensive, hitting a kick to the head that stunned Madison. Before she could follow up on it, Nikki Storm sauntered down to the ring with a poster saying “Nikki Storm as TV Champion”. This distracted Athena long enough for Madison to hit a roll-up and the win.
Madison Rayne defeated Athena with a roll up in 07:39 Rating: **
The GM issue is not settled yet Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with TNAW President, Dixie Carter. The last few weeks have seen several veterans being interviewed about the position, but Dixie says nothing is settled yet. They are looking for the right candidate, both within and outside of the organization. Not having a GM is also an option, as things have gone OK without one, as well. Rating: **½
Tara vs Ray An interesting match up here, as the former TNAW World champion Tara faced the quick, agile and fearless Ray. Initially, Tara had some problems adapting to the masked Ray’s extreme speed, but eventually, the highly intelligent and experienced wrestler stopped her in her tracks, planting Ray with a samoan drop. A couple of big moves weren’t enough to stagger Ray completely though, who sent Tara sprawling with a rana. She quickly went up top, but Tara ducked the sky twister attempt. That took a lot out of Ray, who then fell to the Widow’s Peak in a great match! Rating: ****½
Beatdown Out to prove a point to the World Champion, Tara put Ray in a torture rack, dropping her when Leon came running. Tara picked up her as well, hitting the Widow’s Peak. Tara stood tall over the Japanese girls, when Britani Knight came running, decking Tara with with the World Heavyweight Title. As Wired! went off the air for the last time, Britani stood tall over the prone and unconscious Tara. Rating: *****

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 28.06.2014
“The Huntress” Ivelisse vs Sarita The fiery Puerto Rican and the veteran Canadian have had their issues in the past, stemming from Sarita’s vicious assault on Ivelisse following a match between the two. Ivelisse had said that Sarita is old and frail, ripe for the taking. Sarita, on her hand, has called Velez a nobody, someone she didn’t take seriously. Both wrestlers are very sound technical, and we saw a variety of reversals and re-reversals. The match went outside for a brief spell early on, where Sarita sent Ivelisse back first into the apron several times. Her back injured, she couldn’t keep up with Sarita inside of the ring, and when she was lifted up into the painful torture rack, she had to tap out. Sarita didn’t exactly let go at first, but dropped Ivelisse unceremoniously to the ground eventually.
Sarita defeated Ivelisse when Ivelisse submitted to the La Reinenara in 04:40 Rating: **
Serena’s big challenge First, we see pictures from last week’s backstage ruckus between Serena and Hailey Hatred. We then go to Chasity Taylor, who stands by with Serena. Serena is fired up, and all her anger is directed towards one person - Hailey Hatred. If Hailey has it in her, she will face her at Tropic Tumble - in a Street Fight! Before she can say anything else, Hailey Hatred shows up, telling Serena that she is looking forward to pounding Hailey down into the sand. Security guards are soon on the spot, separating the two women. Rating: ****½
Mercedes Martinez vs Sara Del Rey The two former allies and friends have been on a collision course as of late, not only because Sara Del Rey roughed up Mercedes sister-in-law and tag partner, Rose Martinez, but because Mercedes feels Sara is on the wrong path. So while The Martinez’ are preparing for their tag title match next week, Mercedes tries to beat some sense into Sara. Well, they may have been friends before, but tonight their were bitter rivals, striking and kicking each other with wild abandon. The two know each other very well, and blocked and countered each other finisher’s and signature moves whenever possible. It was Sara who broke the code first, gouging Martinez’ eyes before going for the Royal Butterfly, putting this one away.
Sara Del Rey defeated Mercedes Martinez with the Royal Butterfly in 06:14 Rating: *¼
Huge altercation Just after the match, Rose Martinez ran in to check on Mercedes, only to be picked up and suplexed herself by Del Rey. The TNAW World Champion Britani Knight came to the rescue, super kicking the surprised Sara. As she tried to help the Martinez’, Tara snuck up behind the young Brit and hit the Widow’s Peak. As the Martinez’ gathered their wits, Tara got out of the ring, pulling Sara Del Rey with her. When “The Queen of Wrestling” saw who she was “allying” herself with, she quickly moved away from her. It might come a time when you need to choose sides, Sara Del Rey. Rating: ***
Show rating: **½
Notes: Things are heating up on many fronts here, not the least which is the World Title. Next week, Showdown is 1 hour long, and we celebrate the return of 1-hour Showdown with a tag team title shot between The Martinez’ and Awesome Kong & Winter.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 05.07.2014
Welcome to the first edition of the NEW Saturday Night Showdown - now one hour long again. Tonight will see the Martinez’ go for the TNAW Tag Team Titles, and in the main event, Athena will face Nikki Storm.
Hailey Hatred vs Veda Scott We had a debut on our hands tonight, as a somewhat geeky red-head named Veda Scott had her chance to shine in the opening match. Her opponent, Hailey Hatred, was on a rampage though, and it was only Hatred’s unwillingness to end this match early, that extended Scott’s debut to close to the 3 minute mark.
Hailey Hatred defeated Veda Scott with the Bridging double chickenwing in 02:47 Rating: **¾
Hailey’s not done Even though the match was over, Hailey didn’t want to let go of the chickenwing. Ref Mattano tried to pry her hands off of Scott, but failed. Ref Rosenberg had to get in there as well in order to remove the hold, and an almost unconscious Scott got out of the ring. As an angry Hailey advanced on the two referees, Serena hit the ring, attacking Hailey with a barrage of fists and kicks. Hailey tried to counterattack, but Serena ducked the clothesline and hit a spear. Rating: ***
Dixie announces title match for Tropic Tumble Backstage, Dixie Carter announces that Tropic Tumble will be held at an outdoor location in Daytona Beach this year. The main event would be a triple threat match between the champion, Britani Knight and her two main challengers - Tara and Sara Del Rey! Rating: ***
Interview with Tara Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with Tara, and asks the former three times world champ where Rob Terry is? Tara says that she’s through with that dumb oaf of an Englishman - but she’s not done with the Englishwoman Britani Knight. She says that Britani has an extra month to be the World Champion before the title comes home to the one who deserves it - the soon to be 4 times World Champion, Tara. Rating: **¾
Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise (c’s) vs The Martinez for the TNAW Tag Team Titles Rose and Mercedes have absolutely earned this opportunity, but they had a daunting task ahead of them, facing the much bigger opponents of Kong and Cruise. There were no hard feelings between these two teams, but of course, they all wanted desperately to win, and didn’t hold back. Rose got distracted early on trying to bodyslam Awesome Kong, a feat that she finally accomplished towards the end of the match, aided by her sister-in-law. Still, Rose was isolated for much of the match, and while Mercedes held her own against Kong and Cruise, they were simply outclassed in the strength and power department.
Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise defeated The Martinez’ (Rose & Mercedes Martinez) when Cruise pinned Rose after the Burning Hammer in 09:12 Rating: *** (Awesome Kong & Melanie Cruise retained the TNAW Tag Team Titles) (Note: Rose Martinez suffered a biceps tear and will be out until January 2015)
Portia Perez vs Ray The ongoing feud between the Ninjas and the Japanese masked women continues, as the mastermind Perez faces off against Ray. Perez did her usual stalling routine, but at the same time trying her utmost to have Ray be disqualified. Portia tried to get into ref Remsburg’s head, but the veteran ref saw through most of her shenanigans. After a ref-bump, Portia tried the old Eddie Guerrero chair trick, but Leon came out to tell the referee what really happened. In the confusion, Portia managed to twist Ray’s mask so that she couldn’t see anything, then superkicked her for the pinfall.
Portia Perez defeated Ray with the Superkick in 06:56 Rating: **1/4
Kendo stick brawl Leon didn’t take too kindly to Portia cheating to get the win over Ray, and got into her face in the middle of the ring. Portia pleaded, begged and stalled until Nicole Matthews came running, smacking Leon in the head with a kendo stick. The Ninjas stood tall, until Ray came back with a kendo stick of her own, smashing it over Nicole’s back. Leon got hold of Matthews’ stick, and together, the Japanese girls chased the Ninjas out of the ring, smacking them on their backsides with the kendo sticks. Rating: **½
Britani welcomes anyone to try and take her championship Backstage, Chasity Taylor wants to know if Britani Knight fears for her title now that both Del Rey and Tara will be gunning for her championship. The young champion shakes her head vigorously, saying that she’s a fighting champion, not afraid of anyone. Besides, a 3-way is a free-for-all, she doubts Tara and Del Rey can put aside years of differences and work together - at least not for long. Knight finishes by saying that this is a new dawn in TNAW - where the old guard has been set aside, and the new warriors have come to the forefront. Rating: ****
Update from England Footage from Norwich, England airs. It is mostly dark, as Saraya Knight sits in the confines of her basement, still troubled by the concussion she suffered in a bar fight a while back. Saraya says that she has been diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome, but as with the other injuries she has suffered throughout her career, she will defeat this one as well, she will be back in TNAW and she will show her daughter that when both Knights are present at the same time - she will always be number two. Rating: ****
Athena vs Nikki Storm Both of these women want to challenge for Madison Rayne’s TV Title. Athena was close to winning a non-title match a couple of weeks ago, only to have a distraction from Nikki Storm cost her the win. The Scot feels she is entitled to a title shot herself, but the former TV Champion found that battling “The Wrestling Goddess” in some sort of unofficial top contenders match was easier said than done. Athena was all business in this one, and Nikki had to pull out her best efforts to keep up. Athena’s kicks and elbows gave Storm a hard time, but the Scot dished out some punishment too, making it an even affair. Close to the 10-minute mark, Athena went outside and got a small back. Fearing it was thumbtacks, Nikki shied away, but when Athena threw quarters all over the ring, Nikki started counting right away. Athena used this distraction to climb the ropes, and when Storm turned away, she got hit with the O-Face for the win. Well - at least she got some quarters.
Athena defeated Nikki Storm with the O-Face in 10:29 Rating: *¼
Show rating: ***½
Notes: Mercedes Martinez will be on her own for a while. Rose Martinez needs surgery on her biceps, and it will put her out for the rest of the year.
Athena’s win over Nikki Storm must propel her to the forefront for the TV Title contention.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm not about to give up. I've been doing the circuit for almost 5 years now. It was difficult to keep up with the weekly updates, at least when I started doing shows twice a week, but I still feel I have gas left in the tank, so to speak!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 12.07.2014
Nikki Storm demands a title shot We start tonight’s show backstage, where the Scot Nikki Storm has accosted Madison Rayne. She’s trying to say something, but she’s too wound up and talks to quickly and with too much of a Scottish accent, so Madison doesn’t understand a thing. Nikki keeps repeating herself “Eh wont eh tetle shot”, but Madison is either playing dumb or actually not getting it. “The Wrestling Goddess” Athena walks by, explaining to Madison that this stupid bitch wants a title shot, despite not deserving it - at all. Madison apologizes to Nikki, but says that Athena is getting a shot - tonight. Nikki is not happy, but Athena is smiling all the way to her locker room. Rating: ****
Heidi Lovelace vs Jessica Havock “The Vintage Vixen” put on some good matches against Serena earlier this summer, and her outing against J-Hav wasn’t bad either. Despite losing a lot in both strength and size, Heidi held her own and even rocked Havock on several occasions. A couple of ear-splitting enzuigiri’s positioned Jessica for the shining wizard, but she had the wherewithal to duck, hitting a german suplex instead. A Demon Drop later and the win was Havock’s.
Jessica Havock defeated Heidi Lovelace with the Demon Drop in 02:31 Rating: ****
Ray & Leon with some demands We see footage from last week, as kendo sticks were used in the feud brewing between the Canadian Ninjas and Ray and Leon. We then go to Dixie Carter’s office, where the two Japanese women are trying to tell Dixie something with the help of an interpreter. The dialoge goes a little too fast for both Dixie and the interpreter, but Dixie does understand the words “kendo”, so she replies “yes, kendo stick, I know. Yes, yes.” Ray and Leon are pleased with that, thanking Dixie and leaving. The interpreter then tells Carter that she just agreed to a Kendo stick match between the two teams at Tropic Tumble. Dixie Carter sighs, and asks the interpreter what a kendo stick match is. The interpreter doesn’t know. Rating: **¼
Ivelisse has a leash Backstage, Chasity Taylor is standing by with Ivelisse. Taylor asks if Ivelisse is anxious to get her hands on Sarita in their rubber match? Ivelisse says that “The Huntress” always gets her prey in the end, and when she does, the prey is trapped - forever. She rattles a leash in front of Chasity, licking her lips seductively and eerily at the same time. Rating: **½
Ivelisse vs Winter Winter has been without a purpose since losing first her affiliation with the Old Guard, then the tag titles and then her tag partner, and it was obvious in her match with “the Huntress” that she wasn’t quite herself. Still, the veteran knew a trick or two, and managed to weaken the Puerto Rican using chokeholds and various legal and semi-illegal submission holds. Ivelisse then countered a side slam attempt into a headscissors, and sent Winter down with a series of clotheslines. Ivelisse then retrieved the leash, but referee Rosenborg stopped her from using it. Winter tried to take advantage of the distraction by using a chair she had gotten hold of, but Ivelisse ducked and drop-kicked it back in Winter’s face. A modified DDT later and Ivelisse had notched up another victory in her book.
Ivelisse defeated Winter with the Disdain in 07:02 Rating: **
A former champion is here Backstage, Chasity Taylor has quite the scoop, as Nattie Neidhart has been spotted backstage. The former 2 time TV Champion denies being signed by TNAW, and claims to be here simply to visit friends. She is also looking forward to the TV TItle match later on. Rating: *¾
Athena vs Madison Rayne (c) for the TNAW TV Title While Athena normally is a fast-paced and some say impatient wrestler, she had a different approach to this match, as she started out old-school with headlocks and wristlocks, wearing Madison down from several different angles at the same time. Madison countered it with basic moves on her own, and the match never really picked up the steam you would expect. Still, both had valid reasons for being cautious. One who didn’t like the match at all though, was Nikki Storm. The Scot simply cannot seem to accept the decision made to give Athena a title shot and not her, and interjected herself into the match, tripping Athena when she went to the ropes. Athena tried to pull Nikki into the ring, but Nikki smacked her, causing the dq. Nikki then attacked Madison, leading the official verdict of the match to be a no contest.
Athena and Madison Rayne fought to a no-contest in 11:57 Rating: * (Madison Rayne retained the TNAW TV Title)
“Sassy” Stephanie Smothers vs Tara Tara is reputedly working hard to prepare for the 3-way at Tropic Tumble, where the super veteran will have a chance to win the World Title for a 4th time. A warm up match against Smothers doesn’t necessarily gauge her ability to win the main event of a huge iPPV, but it did serve to show how angry and determined she is. Just to show off - she won with a standing moonsault.
Tara defeated Stephanie Smothers in 03:19 with a standing moonsault Rating: ***
Tara not done The former champ was apparently not done with Smothers though, as she picked her up and hit the Widow’s Peak. After showing off to the crowd for a while, she hit another Widow’s peak, despite referee’s outside of the ring motioning for her not to do it. Britani Knight runs in to chase Tara away. Tara keeps Britani in her vision as she backs out, only to bump into Sara Del Rey. Who will have eyes in the back of their necks when the time comes for Tropic Tumble? Rating: ****½
Dixie announces match at Tropic Tumble Just before the show goes off the air, Dixie Carter comes out with an announcement. She is pleased to announce that at Tropic Tumble, the TV Title will again be defended in an Ultimate X match. Madison Rayne will defend her title against her opponent from earlier tonight, Athena. Dixie is then interrupted by Nikki Storm, who goes on a rant about how outrageous it is that she doesn’t get the title shot. How many chances would Athena get? Dixie tells Nikki that she wasn’t finished. And that Ultimate X normally has at least 4 participants. Nikki is participant number 3 in the Ultimate X match, while the 4th participant would stay a secret for now. Rating: *¼
Show rating: **1/2

Good stuff going on here. Too bad you don't get more comments which might go a long way to keeping this going.
I am curious ... do you have a roster listing of the current active ladies here?
