Coming up next, a special one on one interview that Dan Marion conducted earlier this week with Kurt Angle.
[commercial]
We see Kurt Angle sitting with NAWA Interviewer Dan Marion. Marion says the world was shocked when Kurt Angle was sitting in the crowd at the Unholy Alliances Pay Per View. Angle says that he decided to check out the New Age Wrestling Alliance, as he heard they were a standard for wrestling excellence. What he saw, he was extremely impressed. Angle talks about how the last few years have been rough on him, with many injuries plaguing his career and he is taking some time off from mat wars, but when he returns, he'll return better than ever. Marion asks if that return will happen in NAWA. Angle remarks that it just might but right now he's exploring his options and he's a free agent. He says that this company is a front runner and there are so many great competitors in the locker room that Angle would like to try his luck with. Harry Harris, Jerry Lynn, Austin Aries, Bryan Danielson, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Miles Stylish, and of course the NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart. Angle says that many counted him out but NAWA could be the thing that gives Angle a shot in the arm that will get him to greater heights.
Marion talks about Miles Stylish and the remarks Stylish has made directly towards Kurt Angle, degrading remarks. Angle sighs, talking about how Stylish has a right to express his opinion but there might be a time where he has to back up his bravado. Angle says that Stylish is impressive. In some ways, they are similar, achieving title glory within the early years of their career, where many go their entire careers without even coming close to winning the World Championship. Angle says that one day, he might be across the ring from Miles Stylish. He said it be surely be a dream match and perhaps the greatest match in wrestling history. Angle says he's not going to hold anything back and if he signs with the New Age Wrestling Alliance, he is in it to win it and there's no bigger prize in than the NAWA World Championship. Angle says that he would love nothing better than to add it to his resume but there are a number of able competitors who are standing in his way. Angle says that should he sign, the New Age Wrestling Alliance fans will see the real Kurt Angle, not some shell who was forced to be a sports entertainer and a goof to amuse a billionaire and his legion of mindless sheep in the crowd. Marion thanks Angle for his time and Angle says that it was his pleasure.
