Regal quit? NO!!!!!!!! You did a great job in having DiBiase pay off Slater and Sawyer and also put Sheffield down before the match. Maybe DiBiase could demand a match now with Romero since he almost handed the title to him. Did Murdoch quit too? Did half of your roster quit after that last cycle? Over a few cards I lost Murdoch, Saturn, Sawyer, Regal, Dr. Death, Jackson, Jim Powers, Morley...at LEAST all of those guys. So yeah, I had to flood the place with new talent. My *original* long term plan was building to an eventual explosion in the Hard Liners-Regal partnership, and turning Murdoch face to challenge Regal for the title in a "Captain Redneck" vs "Uptight Royalty" type feud...the ORIGINAL plan for this cycle was Romero beating Regal in a non-title match, chasing the belt the whole cycle, then coming up short in the final card...but Regal gave notice after the non-title match...=P

Not to make you upset, but the *original* idea was really, really good! It sucks losing Jackson as I really liked the way he was being booked and was definitely an interesting character.

I got the idea from watching a couple of promos Murdoch cut on Ric Flair back in the day, and I thought "gold".
Yeah.
SIGH.
But half the fun is thinking on my feet, I suppose.

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL Strength in Numbers 4.3.1
Robert Roode came to the ring looking very, very cocky! Shinsuke Nakamura came out looking focused, and went right after Roode!
Just as this thing started to kick into second gear, Nakamura caught Roode out of nowhere with the Landslide! He held him tight for three!
Shinsuke Nakamura pinned Robert Roode after the Landslide in 0:01:34. Rating: ** 1/4 (Shinsuke Nakamura retained the PWI Fighting Spirit Title.)
Roode was LIVID! He attacked Nakamura, who traded blows with him! James Storm, Zack Ryder and Heath Slater hit the ring, and it turned into a four on one! The crowd kept waiting on someone to make the save, but it never happened and Nakamura just got beat on until Roode, Storm, Ryder and Slater were done with him!
The Boogeyman was announced to the ring, then Michael Tarver! Ted DiBiase came out, and it became apparent that there had been a last minute substitution involving Skip Sheffield.
The Boogeyman stood stoically on the ring apron while DiBiase fought Tarver. They went back and forth for a bit, then DiBiase pinned Tarver with a powerslam!
The Boogeyman then attacked DiBiase and got a couple of close falls, but DiBiase never really seemed in danger, hitting a German Suplex for three!
Triangle Match: Ted DiBiase defeated Michael Tarver and The Boogeyman: x DiBiase beat Tarver via a powerslam in 0:02:25 x DiBiase beat Boogeyman via a German suplex in 0:08:36 Rating: *** 1/2 (Skip Sheffield no-showed.)
DiBiase just didn't seem terribly thrilled that Sheffield wasn't around.
Bad Bromance was announced first, followed by Dick Slater and Buzz Sawyer! Fatal Encounter came out to a big pop, then Kitty regretfully announced that the Tag Team Champions could not make it...so filling in tonight would be Brad Armstrong and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat!
The presence of Steamboat was a very pleasant surprise! It mostly stayed "face-heel", with Sawyer and Slater having a particular interest in beating on Snake and Sting. In fact, the only time two faces were in at the same time was Jake and Steamboat for a few minutes, after Jake tagged in while Steamboat was down.
Fatal Encounter wound up brawling on the floor with Slater and Sawyer, and that gave Bad Bromance the opportunity to nail Armstrong with the Bad Bromance for the pin!
Four Corners Match: Bad Bromance (Heath Slater and Zack Ryder) defeated Buzz Sawyer and Dick Slater, Fatal Encounter (Jake Roberts and Sting) and Brad Armstrong and Rick Steamboat when H. Slater pinned B. Armstrong after the Bad Bromance in 0:22:08. Rating: *** 1/4 (Chris Adams and Terry Taylor no-showed.)
The crowd was less than thrilled to see Ryder and Slater victorious again!
James Storm came to the ring for the next match, and said he'd be taking the title off of Romero tonight! Romero Contreras came out and went to work on Storm!
It was very fast paced, and it didn't take long for Storm to fetch his beer bottle and try to blast Romero, but he ducked it and caught him with a powerslam for a quick three!!
Romero Contreras pinned James Storm after a powerslam in 0:03:09. Rating: *** (Romero Contreras retained the PWI Heavyweight Title.)
As Romero celebrated and James Storm threw a fit on the floor, The Boogeyman jumped Romero! He began laying into Romero, splitting his forehead wide open! After he did some damage, he unzipped his coveralls and started pulling them down, then removed his mask...to reveal "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert! Gilbert smirked as the bloody Romero tried to pull himself up Gilbert's legs, but Gilbert blasted him between the eyes!
At intermission it was announced that next week would see Bad Bromance versus Terry Taylor and Chris Adams for the Tag Team Titles, Dean Malenko vs Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match, Eddie Gilbert vs The Greatest American Bolo, Dick Slater and Buzz Sawyer vs Fatal Encounter, Robert Roode vs The Missing Link, Skip Sheffield vs Michael Tarver and more!
General Skandor Akbar and Friday led Dean Malenko, Kamala, Hercules and Paul Roma to the ring to take on Barry Windham, Dustin Rhodes, The Greatest American Bolo and The Missing Link, accompanied by The Dark Journey and Sensei Bolo!
Kamala and Barry Windham entered the cage, and Windham laid into Kamala! The crowd cheered as Windham used the cage to great effect, but Kamala did a bit of that himself! First blood was drawn when Kamala grinded Windham's face into the cage! Kamala crushed Windham against the cage, then whipped his face into it! Windham did manage to duck a chop and hit a lariat, putting him back on his game! Dark Journey and Akbar met for the coin toss...and Journey won!
The Greatest American Bolo entered the cage and went after Kamala, helping the bloody Windham! Kamala ripped through them on a double clothesline attempt, though, and inflicted some damage on Bolo. He went for Air Africa, but Bolo rolled away and Windham took back over!
Dean Malenko was in next, and he focused on Bolo, attacking his back and limbs! Malenko grinded Bolo against the cage and tried to tear his mask off, but Windham was quick to stop that!
The Missing Link entered the ring on fire against Malenko and Kamala!! He hit headbutts like crazy, giving Bolo a chance to fight back, and giving Windham room to rest!
Paul Roma came in next and went after Link, but he ate some headbutts, too! The faces fought up with the even numbers and seemed to be pretty well in control of things, though, Windham's blood loss was clearly slowing him down. Roma worked Windham over some more...until Dustin Rhodes entered!
Dustin was on fire against everyone, and Windham, Bolo and Link took the opportunity to beat on their rivals! It was Malenko that came back around next, sending Bolo into the cage hard, then chop blocking Windham. This gave him and Roma room to attack Dustin while Kamala and Link just hammered each other.
Hercules came in last and launched Bolo headfirst into the cage! He beat the holy Hell out of Windham before Gorilla pressing him into the cage! He ambushed Link while Link was fighting Kamala...and then he joined in the two on one on Dustin!
Link recovered to make the save, but Malenko cut him off and grounded him! The complexion seemed to change when Hercules hoisted Rhodes up and drove him hard into the corner, then did it a couple of more times for punctuation! Bolo fought up against Kamala and Roma, but Malenko let off of Link to attack him and keep him away from Hercules!
Hercules was on a mission as he destroyed Rhodes' back, then lifted him into the Horizontal Backbreaker!! Rhodes fought it...but gave up!
War Games No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Devastation Incorporated (Dean Malenko, Hercules, Kamala and Paul Roma) defeated Barry Windham, Dustin Rhodes, The Greatest American Bolo and The Missing Link when Hercules made D. Rhodes submit to the Horizontal Backbreaker in 0:23:43. Rating: **** 1/4
Kamala blasted Bolo and squished him in the corner, while Malenko again neutralized Link and Roma beat on Windham! Hercules tightened the backbreaker on Rhodes, and seemed intent on crushing the life out of him! Officials finally entered the ring and forced him to put Dustin down, but the damage was definitely done!
Devastation Incorporated did just that!

- Ouch. Poor Nakamura needs to make some friends before the next card now that Harris is out. - Is the Boogeyman Jason the Terrible? Doesn't seem like somebody you'd use but maybe... - I like DiBiase going over. He is really building up some nice steam. - Steamboat? Nice signing! - I wish TNM did that more often. Usually I only get one member of a team no-showing. Good to see Bad Bromance win again. I hope they get over that final hump soon and take the straps. - What's the seeding on your no-shows? Sure seems like you have a lot. - Good win for Romero. Harris being gone has really hurt Storm's push in my eyes. A few weeks ago I'd have been pulling for him to win the Title. Now I was really wanting Romero to go over. - EDDIE GILBERT?!?! This is pretty much a totally new roster since the first and second cycle, but it does have a good early '80s feel for a regional fed. - Kamala is starting it out? Wow. Would have thought Malenko or Roma would have. - Blood! There must be blood in war games. - Okay, what's the deal here? Faces can't win the coin toss. - Love the beating Bolo got. Reminded me of Pillman or Rhodes from the early '90s WarGames. - Surprised it wasn't Bolo who submitted, but good match, good write-up. - DI looks like they are unstoppable at this point. - After this cycle you should post your new roster so I can keep up with all these new guys coming in.

- Rhodes took the fall because the SOB gave notice after the second week. Made it really easy to decide who was going out in War Games...=P
- Gilbert got hired as my emergency "Plan B" when Regal gave notice. He did an obscure "Michael Myers" gimmick called The Boogeyman, so I snuck him into the company that way...=)
- My no-show seeding is still set on the default...but it's a good thing I usually keep a couple of guys off the show, just in case.
Roster:
FACES Romero Contreras Ted DiBiase Sting Jake Roberts The Greatest American Bolo Barry Windham Rick Steamboat Brad Armstrong The Missing Link Shinsuke Nakamura Chris Harris Terry Taylor Chris Adams
TWEENER Michael Tarver
HEELS Eddie Gilbert Buzz Sawyer Dick Slater Skip Sheffield Dean Malenko Kamala Paul Roma Hercules James Storm Robert Roode Zack Ryder Heath Slater
Unless I miscounted (or missed someone), that's four new faces and three new heels. And it is a lot, but yeah, the end of the last cycle was rough on us, not just because of number of guys lost, but WHO was last.
OH...Dustin Rhodes came and went in a flash, I forgot.

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL Strength in Numbers 5.3.1
The show had a HOT opener, as Buzz Sawyer and Dick Slater took on Fatal Encounter!
Sting and Sawyer, of course, have a history and Dick Slater has been on the other side of more than one fight with Sting and Jake recently. The crowd was NUTS as Sting all four men went at it, and they kept switching in and out just fast enough that it never seemed to slow down, even when someone was being beaten down two on one.
As the match was building to a crescendo, Snake slid in the ring and DDT Sawyer! Slater ran in and ate one as well! Then, in a shocker, Jake DDTed the referee!!
Buzz Sawyer and Dick Slater defeated Fatal Encounter (Jake Roberts and Sting) when Slater defeated J. Roberts by disqualification in 0:27:10. Rating: ****
Roberts seemed to have absolutely snapped off! Sting confronted him about attacking the referee, and the two men had words! It got pretty heated until Snake offered his hand to Sting...Sting stared at it for a moment, then shook it...but the two men had some distance between them as they left.
The guys who drew the short straw for having to follow THAT up were Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver.
This one was a whole lot closer than the last time, though Sheffield's heart just didn't seem to be in it. Tarver was aggressive, and thanks to Sheffield not putting forth his best effort, Tarver was able to hit Tarver's Lightning for the pin!
Michael Tarver pinned Skip Sheffield with the Tarver's Lightning in 0:08:23. Rating: ** 1/4
Tarver was pleased with himself, even if the audience wasn't really!
General Skandor Akbar and Power'n'Glory got a ton of heat...while Brad Armstrong and Ricky Steamboat got cheered loudly!
A good, if not as good as the opener, tag match followed...with Hercules and Roma overpowering Steamboat and Armstrong! The popular and quick team of Armstrong and Steamboat managed to keep Akbar at bay, but working so hard to do so may have set them up for failure...as Hercules locked Armstrong in the very Backbreaker that ended Dustin Rhodes' PWI career!
Power'n'Glory (Hercules and Paul Roma) defeated Brad Armstrong and Rick Steamboat when Hercules made B. Armstrong submit to the Horizontal Backbreaker in 0:12:00. Rating: ***
The crowd booed as "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert came to the ring, and he soaked it all up! Gilbert got on the mic and said that yes, he was very, very proud of himself for beating that fat Mexican bloody last week and it was just a matter of time before he would be the new PWI Heavyweight Champion! He called Romero a 300 lb ham'n'eggar never-will-be, and he was going to make an example tonight out of Romero's little buddy, the overgrown kid in a Halloween costume, Bolo!
The Greatest American Bolo came out fired up, with Sensei in tow! Bolo unloaded on Gilbert, but Gilbert unleashed dirty tricks and then spiked Bolo with a piledriver! Sensei tried to get involved, but all he did was get the kendo stick in the wrong place! While the referee was trying to get him away from the ring, Gilbert smiled and nailed Bolo with the kendo!
Eddie Gilbert pinned The Greatest American Bolo after hitting him with the kendo stick in 0:04:54. Rating: ** 1/2 [Sensei Bolo interfered against Eddie Gilbert.]
Gilbert grabbed the kendo again and smashed Bolo with it! He laughed and did it again!! As he moved to continue, Romero stormed the ring and Gilbert bailed out!!
Robert Roode made his way out...and then Dark Journey led The Missing Link to the ring!
Roode never really seemed intimidated, and though he played a lot of defense, he never seemed to get flustered. That paid off in spades when he wore Link down and hit the Payoff for the win!
Robert Roode pinned The Missing Link with the Payoff in 0:12:59. Rating: ** 1/4
Akbar and Friday led Kamala to the ring...and Barry Windham came out to take him on!
Kamala tried to attack before the bell, but Windham just unloaded! Kamala did some damage after ducking a lariat, but Windham laced into him and hit the ropes...where Friday tripped him up!
Barry Windham defeated Kamala by disqualification in 0:06:29. Rating: 1/2* [Friday interfered against Barry Windham.]
Friday held his legs down so Kamala could splash Windham! He went for another, but Steamboat, Armstrong and The Missing Link stormed out! Kamala would have fought, but Akbar called him off!
At intermission it was announced that Fatal Encounter would meet Dick Slater and Buzz Sawyer in a rematch, Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield would have a rematch, Romero Contreras would take on Eddie Gilbert in a non-title match and much more!
Akbar brought the pride and joy of Devastation Incorporated to the ring, and the crowd was not pleased to see Dean Malenko! They did, however, pop for Shinsuke Nakamura as they locked up in this non-title match!
Nakamura offered his hand to Malenko, who did quickly shake it before kicking Nakamura! However, Nakamura quickly hit the Landslide and nearly won in under a minute! He also hit El Nino and a sitout powerbomb, and Malenko had to recover on the floor...where Nakamura dove onto him!
Malenko showed great resilience in the early part of the bout, and it allowed to him come back later on! Akbar tried to interfere once, but Nakamura had him scouted...but he made a huge mistake when he went up top...because Malenko followed and caught him with a flying gutbuster!! Though Nakamura fought on, he did lose a ton of grit from that, and so it was little surprise when Dean locked on the Texas Cloverleaf and made Nakamura pass out!
Dean Malenko defeated Shinsuke Nakamura when Shinsuke Nakamura passed out in the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:15:25. Rating: **** 3/4
Bad Bromance waited in the entrance for Terry Taylor and Chris Adams...but Taylor and Adams came through the fans' entrance! They ambushed Bad Bromance in the aisles!
This time it was Taylor and Adams looking to end it quickly, but Zack Ryder and Heath Slater were trying not to let that happen! The match was back and forth, and every bit as good as the opener...but humiliating for Taylor...because Heath Slater hit him with a huge flying forearm (not unlike Taylor's Five Arm) and pinned him to win the PWI Tag Team Titles!
Bad Bromance (Heath Slater and Zack Ryder) defeated Chris Adams and Terry Taylor when H. Slater pinned Taylor after a flying forearm in 0:14:59. Rating: **** (Bad Bromance won the PWI Tag Team Titles.)
The crowd was not happy as Bad Bromance finally did it!

- Yes! Roberts going nuts is good with me! - Ugh. Definitely prefer Sheffield over Tarver, but since Regal is gone Sheffield doesn't have anywhere to go so I kind of understand the booking. - Man, Steamboat sure drew the short stick having to team with Armstrong a couple of times in his PWI career. - That Eddie Gilbert is sadistic. I like it. - Good win for Roode. I hope you keep up his push as I like him to win the Fighting Spirit title. - Eh, would have preferred Windham going over clean. - The top rope gutbuster always looked like it hurt a ton. - Malenko goes over! Yes! Nice rating too! - BAD BROMANCE!!! Finally! Happy to see them get those straps. Nice ratings on some of those matches. This would have been a DVD everybody on the net would have been looking for.

- Sheffield jobbing to Tarver may have had something to do with Sheffield no-showing a Triple Threat match I went to the trouble of setting up the week before.
- Steamboat and Armstrong are a couple of classic babyfaces, and I like them as a unit because they could conceivably win or lose against any team in the company (winning because of Steamboat, losing because of Armstrong).
- Who knew Zack Ryder and Heath Slater would become a hot act? =)

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL Strength in Numbers 6.3.1
The show began as Kamala was led to the ring by Skandor Akbar and Friday! Kamala looked menacing...and the crowd erupted for Ted DiBiase!
Kamala was vicious, just laying into DiBiase with brutal chops and kicks. He gnawed away at DiBiase's face, but DiBiase fought back! DiBiase got the upperhand, but got caught when he went for an axhandle off the ropes! However, he did pull out his loaded glove and knocked Kamala out!
Ted DiBiase pinned Kamala with his special move in 0:07:10. Rating: 1/2*
DiBiase honestly just looked happy to have survived it!
An odd tandem came out next, as Akbar brought Paul Roma and Robert Roode to the ring!
Chris Adams and Terry Taylor came out, minus tag team titles for the first time in quite some time.
Roma and Roode obviously have no experience together, while Taylor and Adams do...but Roode, especially, is on top of his game! The makeshift duo was aided by the interference Akbar throughout the match, but the end was all because of Roode as he managed to crush Taylor against the guardrail with a Northern Lariat and slide back in the ring for the countout!
Paul Roma and Robert Roode defeated Chris Adams and Terry Taylor when R. Roode defeated Taylor by countout in 0:18:26. Rating: **** 1/4 [General Skandor Akbar interfered against Chris Adams.] [General Skandor Akbar interfered against Terry Taylor.] (Hercules no-showed.)
Taylor and Adams were clearly disappointed, while Roode, Roma and Akbar seemed pleased. It is worth noting that while Roma and Akbar celebrated in the entryway, Roode simply walked onto the back.
Heath Slater hit the ring, flaunting his tag title belt! The crowd booed loudly as he laughed! Barry Windham came out next to a nice reaction!
As the two got ready to lock up, Slater rolled out of the ring and walked away!
Barry Windham defeated Heath Slater by countout in 0:00:26. Rating: *
Slater was overheard saying "I'm a champion now, I have more important things to do than filler matches like this."
The next bout was anything but filler as Skip Sheffield came to the ring! Michael Tarver was up next, and the crowd was eager to see what would happen!
Sheffield attacked Tarver and the two men went at each other...with Tarver getting the upperhand in a slugfest! They went back and forth, with Tarver fighting and Sheffield just overpowering!
The two men tumbled to the floor...when Eddie Gilbert came out! He got between them and asked them why they were still fighting?! Tarver and Sheffield stared at him, and Gilbert pointed out that Regal was the one that wanted to play divide and conquer, then asked where Regal was now? Gilbert pointed out that there's strength in numbers, and if they didn't make friends real fast, guys like Romero and Ted DiBiase would wind up doing a lot of damage to all of them! The crowd booed as Sheffield and Tarver left with Gilbert!
Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver battled to a double countout in 0:09:12. Rating: * 3/4
Buzz Sawyer and Dick Slater came to the ring for their rematch with Fatal Encounter!
Sting seemed a little apprehensive about Jake, and was quick to tag in whenever Jake got too aggressive. Slater and Sawyer took advantage of the tension between Jake and Sting...but it they weren't able to truly capitalize on it, as Jake caught Slater with a DDT and put him away!
Fatal Encounter (Jake Roberts and Sting) defeated Buzz Sawyer and Dick Slater when J. Roberts pinned Slater with the DDT in 0:18:42. Rating: ****
Akbar brought Dean Malenko to the ring, and Malenko squared off with Shinsuke Nakamura! The Fighting Spirit title was on the line, and Malenko was looking to get his first gold in PWI! Nakamura had learned from his previous match with Malenko, but Malenko pulled out a couple of different tricks to throw him off!
The referee got crushed when Nakamura tried to hit Malenko with a high knee, but Nakamura capitalized and locked on the Shining Triangle!! Malenko began to tap, but there was no one there to call the match! Akbar entered the ring and smashed Nakamura in the temples with the butt of his riding crop, knocking Nakamura out! Malenko turned the Shining Triangle into his own Texas Cloverleaf! As the referee came to, he saw Nakamura passed out in the Cloverleaf and called for the bell, awarding Malenko the win!
Dean Malenko defeated Shinsuke Nakamura when Shinsuke Nakamura passed out in the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:21:56. Rating: **** 3/4 (Dean Malenko won the PWI Fighting Spirit Title.) [General Skandor Akbar interfered against Shinsuke Nakamura.]
The crowd booed as Malenko raised the title high!
At intermission, it was announced that next week Fatal Encounter would challenge Bad Bromance for their newly won Tag Team Titles, while Barry Windham would take on Dean Malenko in a non-title match!
James Storm came out to much disdain...and Dark Journey brought The Missing Link out!
Storm looked great against Link, taking his offense with little problem, and blasting him with the Last Call for the win!
James Storm pinned The Missing Link with the Last Call in 0:05:03. Rating: ** 3/4
Main event time! "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert came out...and jumped Romero as he entered the ring! Romero shrugged it off and laid into Gilbert! They brawled back and forth for several minutes, when Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver hit the ring!!
Romero Contreras defeated Eddie Gilbert by disqualification in 0:07:51. Rating: ** 1/4 [Skip Sheffield interfered against Romero Contreras.]
It turned into a three one one against Romero!! They were beating him down, when Ted DiBiase and The Greatest American Bolo hit the ring! Gilbert cut off Bolo as he came in and took his kendo stick...but the crowd went NUTS as Jake Roberts and Sting came out!! However, Dick Slater and Buzz Sawyer jumped them in the aisles!
Romero finally snatched the kendo away from Gilbert and cleaned house! Kitty announced that since this was so out of control, and since the last one was such a huge success...in two weeks, Romero Contreras, Ted DiBiase, The Greatest American Bolo and Fatal Encounter would meet Eddie Gilbert, Skip Sheffield, Michael Tarver, Buzz Sawyer and Dick Slater in a Wargames! NEXT week, however, Romero and Bolo would take on Slater and Sawyer, while DiBiase and Eddie Gilbert would meet in the main event!

Might have something to do with Douglas being pretty good on the mic when he wanted to be. And he was right around average in the ring. Yeah, see, I never got Douglas being good on the mic. - I love the face DiBiase using the loaded glove. He has really come around the last few cards, hope he makes a run at some sort of main event status soon.
- Hmm...that sucks you were forced to job Adams and Taylor to Roma and Roode when they should have gone over them, but not Power'n'Glory. Adams and Taylor may finally be hitting a slump.
- Well, that was rather arrogant of Slater.
- Sheffield and Tarver are a duo I could do without being together. Looks like Gilbert fits in nicely to the Regal role.
- Sheesh, Fatal Encounter, Sawyer, and Slater sure meshed well. I'm liking this Roberts-Sting angle.
- Malenko winning the strap already? I like it! I didn't expect it, but I love Malenko as the secondary champ.
- Missing Link continues to fall down the ladder.
- Good to see James Storm get a win here though.
- WarGames...ONE MORE TIME! Normally I wouldn't like a gimmick match being used again that quickly, BUT it fits in nicely here. Really looking forward to it.

- Incidentally...Malenko-Nakamura was one of those matches I tried to book as a draw...I didn't intend to put Malenko over here...but I restarted, and restarted and restarted and finally settled on a result that ended in under an hour...=P
- Gilbert's just trying to cover his own butt so Romero doesn't kill him...=)
- Before '92, they would have War Games multiple times a year...that's kinda my inspiration here, was I've intentionally tried to align the heels into groups with faces banding together to oppose them. It may be overkill, and if it is, I won't do it again...=P
- I do agree: Sting, Roberts, Sawyer and Slater REALLY click together.
- And yeah...stupid Hercules no-showing after I already booked Roma and Hercules to win. At least Taylor took a countout.

I wouldn't mind seeing Roma and Roode as a regular tag team actually, they seem to have good chemistry together. Since Roma at this time had the prettyboy gimmick, you could make a stable with him and Beer Money, and call them, Beer, Sex, and Money, LOL

Buzz Sawyer and Dick Slater head to the ring for the opener! Sensei Bolo brings Romero Contreras and The Greatest American Bolo out to take them on!

Before Sawyer or Slater could do anything about Sensei's attack, Romero attacked them and ran them off!
General Skandor Akbar brought the massive Hercules to the ring, and told him to utterly destroy Brad Armstrong!

Brad Armstrong made Hercules submit to a figure-four leglock in 0:18:49. Rating: **** 1/4 [General Skandor Akbar interfered against Brad Armstrong.]
The crowd was ready for an Armstrong victory!
The reunited Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield came out, looking united! Chris Adams and Terry Taylor hit the ring to challenge them!

- You go, Sensei!
- Surprised Armstrong went over, but I guess it had to happen eventually. Wish it would have been over Roma and not Hercules, though.
- Big win for Sheffield and Tarver. Boy, Adams and Taylor sure have dropped off. I know they are still feuding with Bad Bromance, but it feels like it has been a couple of weeks since they've won a match.
- Why do I think Roma and Steamboat would have been an okay match?
- Except for Roberts DDTing a referee, I don't see Jake being much in the wrong. I think Sting is just has a holier than thou attitude. Isn't this Slater's second 5 star match in PWI? Not bad for a rookie.
- Malenko is one scary SOB. Akbar better watch out.
- Malenko is quickly becoming my favorite heel of your's. Wow, you have him written very well as just plain evil and calculated.
- Well, I guess Gilbert had to go over here since it looks like he's Romero's future challenger. I have enjoyed DiBiase winning a lot more in singles action so hopefully he bounces back.
- Looking forward to War Games next week.

- I think you just like Jake more than you do Sting, so you're on his side...=)
- Malenko is a mechanic that will just dismantle somebody.

How dare you suggest that I'm showing favortism towards Roberts! I actually never really liked Roberts all that much. He was pretty cool, but never anywhere near my favorite. I think he's a tad bit overrated.
