- Romero is hitting non-win streak. I know you didn't mean for it to be a big part of his character, but with you posting cards so fast it was hard to not notice that he was winning every match. - Well, since the match was short I liked the fact you used the beer bottle. I am not a huge fan of anybody getting pinned in under a minute unless there is some type of foreign object or interference. - JYD was apparently a little hungover for his last match with Regal. Total whipping of Regal here. I'm guessing that headlines your supercard. Should be interesting to see where you go from there, but I think Regal retaining is probably a good idea. - Abdominal stretch? Really? Poor Ryder. - I'm really digging the Bolo-Jackson stuff. I don't know where it will lead, but it's by far my favorite angle you have going. Which is surprising since I really didn't like either character up until a couple of weeks ago. - Hard Liners take the gold! Yes! - Champions don't last long here, do they? Can't wait to see what type of card you have lined up for the 13th card. - Sometimes you gotta lose a match in order to advance an angle...=) - All I can say about JYD-Regal is that, as of this writing, I have simmed card 14 and am booking 15. - How can you not like Bolo?! I mean, I LOVE that guy! - How does telling me you've simmed card 14 help me? - Bolo was like X-Pac before this current angle to me. Hehehehe

- Man, Kamala and Contreras refuse to let the other have a decisive victory. It was cool seeing Kamala open the show though.
- Hmm...poor Saturn. Build him up with his victory over Sawyer only to lose to Regal.
- I doubt Bolo or Jackson are completely trustworthy at this point.
- Good win for JYD. It was much needed.
- Ryder is starting to get on my nerves. In a good way.
- I guess the Hard Liners and Taylor and Adams will be meeting up again sometime soon. Evil card 13?

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL The Legend Begins... 12.1.1
When the lights came up...Kamala immediately got HAMMERED in the head with a chair by Romero Contreras, who was waiting on him!! Kamala staggered...and then fell!
Romero told Akbar that next week, when the lights come on...a steel cage would be surrounding the ring and Kamala had better be in it!
Zack Ryder and Johnny Swinger headed to the ring for the first OFFICIAL match of the night...taking on Heath Slater and Sean Morley!
Ryder asked Morley and Slater why they were even bothering tonight!
Morley and Slater took control of the match pretty quickly, having teamed more often than Ryder and Swinger. For some reason, America's Most Wanted came to the ring! Slater jumped down and jawed at James Storm, which distracted the referee as he tried to keep them apart...and Chris Harris nailed Morley with a chair! Ryder hit the Zack Attack for the win!
Zack Ryder and Johnny Swinger defeated Heath Slater and Sean Morley when Z. Ryder pinned S. Morley with the Zack Attack in 0:04:30. Rating: *** 1/4 [Chris Harris interfered against Sean Morley.]
Slater slid back into the ring and Ryder backed off! Slater reached down to pull Morley up...then hit a Sweetness, his jumping Russian Legsweep! The crowd was stunned! Slater and Ryder put the boots to Morley...and Johnny Swinger, Chris Harris and James Storm joined in!
The crowd went crazy when Perry Saturn hit the ring, laying into everything that moved! Terry Taylor and Chris Adams joined in the fun, with Swinger eating a Five Arm and Slater taking a huge Superkick!
Taylor said that tonight, he and Adams were supposed to face America's Most Wanted in a #1 Contender's Match...so they may as well do it right now!
Harris and Storm got in the ring, ready to go against Taylor and Adams!
AMW are a tremendous team who have never really found their groove in PWI, but they looked really good here as they jockeyed for one more shot at the tag team titles! They hit Adams with the Death Sentence, but Taylor was quick to break it up!
Taylor caught Harris out of nowhere with a powerslam and hooked him up tight...getting the pin!
Number-One-Contenders-Match: Chris Adams and Terry Taylor defeated America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) when Taylor pinned C. Harris after a powerslam in 0:20:55. Rating: **** 3/4
The crowd went wild as Taylor and Adams secured a shot at the tag team titles next week!
Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver came to the ring next, looking jacked and ready to kill something...as they faced Anthony Jackson and The Greatest American Bolo!
Sheffield and Tarver looked great, but the unorthodox style of Jackson and Bolo seemed to throw them off guard. One huge difference, though, was that Bolo and Jackson were functioning as singles wrestlers and not tag wrestlers!
When Bolo and Jackson couldn't put 'em away, Jackson threw up his arms and walked away! Sensei Bolo tried to talk to him, but he shoved him back! Greatest American Bolo caught him at the entryway, but Jackson said he'd had enough and walked off! Being the legal man, that meant a countout!
Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver defeated Anthony Jackson and The Greatest American Bolo when Tarver defeated Jackson by countout in 0:12:33. Rating: -1/4*
The crowd was not happy with that, and neither was either Bolo!
William Regal made his way to the ring in a non-title match, facing former champion Junk Yard Dog! Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield stayed at ringside, but Junk Yard Dog didn't seem to care.
He might should have, as Tarver made it a point to get involved late in the bout, proving to be a game changer as Regal blasted JYD with the Knee Trembler! Tarver even held JYD's legs, just to make sure!
William Regal pinned Junk Yard Dog with the Knee Trembler in 0:08:03. Rating: 3/4* [Michael Tarver interfered against Junk Yard Dog.]
After the match, Regal got JYD's chains and began whipping JYD with them! He wrapped them around his throat, and began choking him! Tarver and Sheffield put the boots to JYD, who was completely defenseless!
The Greatest American Bolo hit the ring with his kendo stick, and caught Sheffield in the stomach! Tarver nailed him from behind...when Anthony Jackson ran out with a chair! Regal's crew bailed!
Kitty told Regal that if he wanted to use chains so bad, then next week, he would have to give JYD a fair rematch...for the title...in a Dog Collar Match!!! Regal went nuts! He screamed at her, but told her that if he was going to face Junk Yard Dog again, it would be for the LAST time...whoever loses the match is GONE from PWI!
Intermission was a very low-key affair again, with Sting not present as he was preparing for a huge match with Buzz Sawyer. Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase did tell Chris Adams and Terry Taylor that they'd be happy to face them next week, once they regain the titles from The Hard Liners tonight!
Buzz Sawyer was supposed to be out next...but when he was introduced, no one came out. Kitty announced Sting, then...and again, no one came out!
After a few minutes, Sawyer came out, dragging a bloody Sting, who had Sawyer's chain wrapped around his throat! Sawyer threw Sting in the ring and ordered the referee to start the match! They only rang the bell when Sting took a weak shot at Sawyer, but Sawyer planted a HUGE boot in the face of the already bloody Sting! Then he locked on the Scorpion Deathlock!
Sting couldn't even try to fight it...so the referee called the match!
Buzz Sawyer defeated Sting when Sting passed out in a scorpion deathlock in 0:00:45. Rating: *
Sawyer celebrated by painting his face and chest in Sting's blood! Kitty announced that next week, this issue would have to be decided once and for all: In an I Quit Match! Plus, The Greatest American Bolo and Anthony Jackson would take on Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield in a rematch, and Zack Ryder would team with Heath Slater to face Perry Saturn and Sean Morley!
Doc and DiBiase were out for the main event...taking on the Tag Team Champions, Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater!
Their matches just keep getting shorter, but no less intense.
Unfortunately, America's Most Wanted made their THIRD appearance of the night, with Murdoch and Dr. Death fighting on the floor and Slater distracting the referee, allowing Chris Harris to yank DiBiase out of the ring and hit the Catatonic on the concrete! AMW left, and Slater got the referee to count...counting DiBiase out!
The Hard Liners (Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater) defeated Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase when Slater defeated DiBiase by countout in 0:04:28. Rating: * 1/2 (The Hard Liners retained the PWI Tag Team Titles.) [Chris Harris interfered against Ted DiBiase.]
Slater went to the floor and decided to give Ted DiBiase and Piledriver on the concrete...when Chris Adams and Terry Taylor ran out and Adams nailed Slater with a Superkick!
The #1 Contenders sent the Tag Team Champions running!
Card rating: * 1/4

The Legend has begun...
Next week, it all comes to a head.
In a show three months in the making...
Romero Contreras will battle "The Ugandan Giant" Kamala inside a steel cage match...the first such match in PWI history!
Sean Morley, after months of teaming with Heath Slater and weeks of battles against Zack Ryder, was betrayed by Slater who has apparently decided that since he can't beat Ryder, he'll join him. Morley will team with Perry Saturn to face his former partner Slater, and Slater's new friend Ryder in an emotionally charged tag team battle!
The Hard Liners have blood on their hands. Jim Duggan may never wrestle again, and it is because of Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater. Terry Taylor called his old friend Chris Adams, who came to PWI with a shocking debut, pinning Murdoch in the middle of the ring! Adams and Taylor have taken The Hard Liners just about to the limit...next week, after becoming the #1 Contenders to the Tag Team Titles, they face Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater one more time...with the most prestigious prize in tag team wrestling at stake!
Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase, until very recently, dominated tag team wrestling in PWI. This is something that has not sat well with Chris Harris and James Storm. Despite their inability to defeat DiBiase and Williams, America's Most Wanted have intervened in every match they have had with The Hard Liners, not only costing them the Tag Team Titles, but costing them their rematch as well. Next week, there will be Hell to pay...
The Hard Liners' associate, Buzz Sawyer, has aided them in a few hit jobs...when Sting got involved in the middle of their issue with Jim Duggan and Terry Taylor, that sparked a feud with Sawyer! Sawyer passed out in the Scorpion Death Lock, but still maintains that he never quit. He has refused to let the issue go, costing Sting opportunities at the PWI title. Most recently, he beat Sting bloody before their match, then locked him in his own finisher, forcing Sting to pass out himself. Next week, Sting faces Buzz Sawyer...and one man must say...I Quit!
When The Greatest Bolo debuted, it was as the bodyguard of Anthony Jackson. Jackson was then the champion of another promotion, and Bolo made sure that, one way or another, Jackson always held onto his belt. Times changed, the two men grew apart, with The Greatest Bolo finding a manager in Sensei Bolo, success in his own right, and embracing the American Way as The Greatest American Bolo. Jackson has tried to recruit his old comrade back, even getting them booked in a tag team match that Bolo refused to compete in. When Jackson convinced Michael Tarver to join him, no one expected Jackson to just walk away. This ignited a fury in Tarver and his parter Skip Sheffield, and the two men tried to take it out on Jackson...but Bolo made the save. When the two sides did battle in a tag team match, Jackson again walked away, getting his team counted out...but came back to save Bolo and Junk Yard Dog from a brutal assault by William Regal, Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield. Now, the two teams will collide one more time...can Bolo and Jackson work together? Can either man trust the other?
The first night of Pro Wrestling Immortal, The Junk Yard Dog stunned the world by winning the PWI Heavyweight Title. William Regal became obsessed with winning the belt, taking Junk Yard Dog to a time limit draw, before pinning him a few weeks later. JYD won a rematch by countout, but was pinned by Regal after outside interference. When Regal tried to brutalize JYD with his own chain, Kitty stepped in and made a match between the two men...in a DoG Collar Match. Regal has agreed...but only under the condition that the loser must leave town! This is it...Junk Yard Dog vs William Regal for the Pro Wrestling Immortal Heavyweight Title...for the last time! Both men will be connected by a Dog Collar...and one man will remain, while the other must go!

- Liking Contreras attack as the lights came up. That was pretty cool.
- Whoa! Stable alert! I like it! Poor Morley got the crap kicked out of him though. Ryder, Swinger, Slater, and AMW could be an awesome mid-card stable.
- At least the AMW looked a lot better here than usual. Taylor and Adams against the Hard Liners should be really good.
- What the hell, Jackson? You got out of your way to petition Bolo to team with you and then you walk out on him? Boo!
- In all seriousness, this is an interesting twist to the angle. Looking forward to where this goes.
- And JYD eats another loss. And Jackson comes back and makes the save? Interesting that he's already back out there after walking out on Bolo.
- Chain match! YES! And loser leaves town? I'm guessing we will be seeing the last of JYD. Unless you try to throw a wrench in the works and with Regal gone it lets Ryder move in to the top heel spot.
- Sawyer usually either looks like an idiot or a genius. Tonight he definitely looked like a threat. Good job on that. Looking forward to the I Quit match, but there is no way Sting isn't walking out with a victory.
- Your tag team division is really, really strong. Keep it up.

- Romero over Kamala
- Slater and Ryder over Saturn and Morley
- Hard Liners over Adams and Taylor
- Williams and DiBiase over AMW
- Sting over Buzz, most definitely
- I guess Bolo and Jackson go over Sheffield and Tarver, but this totally depends on where you take this angle.
- Regal over JYD.
Good job in setting this supercard up without ever being boring or dragging on feuds. Good stuff. Can't wait for the card.

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL The Legend Begins... 13.1.1
When the show opens, as promised, Romero is inside the cage with Kamala!
This rivalry exploded, with Romero pummeling Kamala, blasting him with his Border Jump flying shouldertackle that sent Kamala into the cage!
Kamala went to the eyes to take over and worked Romero over on the cage, drawing blood...but Romero snapped and drove Kamala into the cage, unloading with a series of punches and kicks!
Kamala fought out of the Kool-Aid Krunch...but Romero improvised and spiked him with a huge powerbomb!! He hooked the leg and pinned Kamala in the center of the ring!
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Cage Match: Romero Contreras pinned Kamala after a powerbomb in 0:05:35. Rating: -1/2*
Zack Ryder and Heath Slater came out next, getting booed...while Sean Morley and Perry Saturn made their way out in matching purple and silver trunks!
Morley and Slater started, and Morley totally schooled his former partner...so they swapped out and Saturn worked over Ryder! Slater and Ryder didn't just get mugged, though, fighting back and taking control of things.
Saturn caught Ryder up in the Death Valley Driver, but he managed to tag Slater...after Saturn blasted Ryder, Slater hit Sweetness and went for the pin...and Morley was just a bit too slow! Slater and Ryder won!
Heath Slater and Zack Ryder defeated Sean Morley and Perry Saturn when H. Slater pinned Saturn with the Sweetness in 0:11:23. Rating: *** 1/4
Slater and Ryder celebrated their victory, much to the aggravation of the fans!
Chris Adams and Terry Taylor came out next, challenging The Hard Liners for the Tag Team Titles! Taylor went right after Slater, and even fought off Murdoch!
The intensity of Taylor and Adams did something few had seen, which was put the Hard Liners on the defensive...but Slater caught Adams with a small package and held on tight, getting the shock pinfall!
The Hard Liners (Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater) defeated Chris Adams and Terry Taylor when Slater pinned Adams after a small package in 0:03:28. Rating: ** 1/4 (The Hard Liners retained the PWI Tag Team Titles.)
Murdoch and Slater hit the floor, laughing, as they thwarted Terry Taylor and Chris Adams!
Before the next match, Kitty announced that next week, Pro Wrestling Immortal would unveil a new championship: The Fighting Spirit Championship...which would be contested over the next several weeks! Tournament brackets would be announced between shows!
America's Most Wanted were very cautious as Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase hit the ring, because Doc and DiBiase had left them laying more than once!
DiBiase unloaded on James Storm from the onset, but Chris Harris knew DiBiase must still be smarting from the Catatonic on the floor and went on the attack! Dr. Death was kept on the apron for a good part of the match, but Dibiase DID tag him in, and when he did, he exploded on AMW!!
DiBiase tagged back in only to get set up for the Death Sentence...but Dr. Death hit James Storm with a huge shoulderblock! Harris jumped off the top anyway, and ate boot from DiBiase! DiBiase locked on the Figure Four...and made him submit!
Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase defeated America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) when DiBiase made C. Harris submit to the Figure Four Leglock in 0:16:46. Rating: *** 1/4
America's Most Wanted, once more, came up short against Doc and DiBiase!
Buzz Sawyer waited at the entryway for Sting...and attacked, but he was waiting, ducking the chains and unloading on Sawyer!
The two fought all over the ring area for probably five minutes before Sting threw Sawyer in the ring and the match started! Sting stalked Sawyer, stomping on his fingers and choking him with his chain, but Sawyer would not quit!
Sawyer retaliated, but Sting swept his legs and went for the Scorpion! Sawyer managed to power out...so Sting set a chair in the corner and whipped Sawyer into it! Then he hit a Stinger Splash, driving him against the chair!!
As Sting locked on the Scorpion again, Sawyer did the unthinkable...he wrapped his chain around his own neck!!! Sawyer squeezed tight, his face turning red! The referee kept asking him if he quit, but Sawyer just grinned maniacally until he slumped unconscious!
The referee had no choice at that point but to call for the bell!
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-I-Quit Match: Sting defeated Buzz Sawyer when Buzz Sawyer passed out in the Scorpion Deathlock in 0:03:26. Rating: ***
Sting released the hold and stood over Sawyer, a serious look on his face...not pleased with the outcome!
At intermission, Sting remained at ringside...where he confirmed that he would be in the Fighting Spirit Title Tournament. Terry Taylor, Romero Contreras, Perry Saturn and Sean Morley also all confirmed that they were in it as well!
Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield came to the ring with bad intentions...but Sensei Bolo brought out Anthony Jackson and The Greatest American Bolo!
Jackson took the worst of a slugfest with Tarver, before kicking him between the legs! Jackson and Bolo did some double teaming...but it didn't last.
When Bolo started to get worked over, Jackson shook his head and walked away again! Sheffield sent Bolo into the ropes, but he slid under the ropes, yanked Tarver off the apron - making him hit his head - then slid back in and under Sheffield...to find Jackson walking away! This gave Sheffield time to hit him with the Over The Shoulder Boulder Holder for the pin!
The Regal Empire (Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield) defeated Anthony Jackson and The Greatest American Bolo when Sheffield pinned Bolo with the Over the Shoulder Boulder Holder in 0:06:50. Rating: 3/4*
Junk Yard Dog hit the ring for the main event...and William Regal followed! Each man had a dead serious look on their faces as they were chained together...then the referee rang the bell and got out of the way!
JYD beat on Regal like crazy, but Regal sent him into the buckles face first, then unloaded with a clubbering to the back of the head and neck!
When JYD rallied back, Regal tried to get away...but couldn't because of the chain! Junk Yard Dog went for the Thump...but Regal fought free! JYD hit a series of headbutts, but failed to put Regal away! However, this seemed to slow JYD down as well, due to Regal's attacks on the head!
The end came when Regal hit a big neckbreaker using the chain...and then blasted him with the Knee Trembler! When the referee counted three, the crowd was stunned!
Dog Collar No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-MatchLoser-Leaves-Town Match: William Regal pinned Junk Yard Dog with the Knee Trembler in 0:13:33. Rating: 1/2* (William Regal retained the PWI Heavyweight Title.)
Regal stood triumphant as fans in the audience cried! Junk Yard Dog rolled to the floor while Regal celebrated! As JYD staggered away, shaking his head, Sting, Steve Williams, Ted DiBiase, The Greatest American Bolo, Terry Taylor and Chris Adams met him in the entryway, with Sting shaking his hand and the rest slapping him on the back. Junk Yard Dog raised his arm to the crowd, who cheered, but he was visibly upset as he turned and walked away!
Card rating: * 3/4

- Holy crap, Kamala was powerbombed? - Slater and Ryder going over was definitely the right result. I really am starting to like the grouping you have there. - You really need to start booking some times for these matches. Adams and Taylor looked pretty bad here. Nice to see the Hard Liners retain though. - AMW looked pretty strong here so no problems here. I'm surprised their match went on before the Hard Liners-Taylor/Adams unless there was an intermission in between. - Sheesh, Sawyer is one messed up dude. I like it. I don't know what you can do with him from here, but it looks like Sting will probably be moving on to the Title scene. Hopefully Sawyer doesn't get lost in the shuffle. - I'm pretty sure Bolo is going to get sick of this before long. Looking forward to the explanation of Jackson's actions. - REGAL! JYD sure had a short run, but at least he got a title reign out of it. Sad to see him go. Good card to wrap up a lot of things, and now I'm ready for some new angles. The new title should make things a little interesting. Anyways, good job. Can't wait to see to the fallout and where you decide to go from here.

The whole deal with JYD was: His contract was coming up (he was one of the guys on a 13 card deal) so I booked the Loser Leaves Town match with Regal going over. If he didn't re-up, that's it, he's gone. If he did, then I would do the "face in the mask that everyone knows but only the heel acknowledges" gimmick...but JYD didn't re-up.

Yeah...the way I have the contracts structured, contracts only end at the end of one of the booking cycles...while I will never reveal who is up when, there's a real good chance that the guys whose contracts are up will always lose their blow-off matches, just in case...=)

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL Fighting Spirit 1.2.1
The show began with a more traditional opening than the first 13 weeks...and Anthony Jackson came out to open the show! Jackson said that he walked out on Bolo because Bolo wasn't the fearless warrior that he remembered! Jackson said that The Greatest Bolo was a 375 lb juggernaut of destruction, not this 170 lb wimp in a flag.
The Greatest American Bolo came to the ring, with Sensei in tow, and charged at Jackson swinging his kendo! Jackson bailed out...but came back in the ring to start the first match!
Jackson's size gave him the upperhand on Bolo, but Bolo pays attentions to opponent's and learns their ins and outs...and he had plenty of time to learn about Jackson!
Jackson was as stunned as anybody when Bolo caught him with an inside cradle and got the pin!
The Greatest American Bolo pinned Anthony Jackson after an inside cradle in 0:04:23. Rating: 3/4*
Jackson was mortified! He ambushed Bolo and began beating him down! Sensei Bolo screamed for help...when Romero Contreras, Jackson's opponent next week in the Fighting Spirit Title Tournament, hit the ring!! Romero sent Jackson into the ropes, but he held onto the top rope and slid out of the ring! Jackson jawed at Romero, who got a great reaction from the crowd!
America's Most Wanted were out next, looking rough and ready, despite some of their recent bad luck. Perry Saturn and Sean Morley hit the ring, seeking revenge for AMW's role in Morley's beating a couple of weeks ago! Morley and Saturn just didn't look like happy people!
Saturn and Morley were both very aggressive against AMW, way moreso than usual! In fact, at one point Saturn even got a bit aggressive with the ref! The crowd was solidly behind them, and that may have made the difference when Harris and Storm cheated to gain the upperhand. They isolated Saturn, but when Storm set him up for the Death Sentence, Saturn grabbed Storm's head and rolled backward, pulling him in the path of Harris! Saturn rolled away and tagged Morley, who unloaded on both members of AMW, and hit Harris with a huge Big Splash for the pin!
Perry Saturn and Sean Morley defeated America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) when S. Morley pinned C. Harris with the Big Splash in 0:09:29. Rating: *** 1/4
The crowd was thrilled with Saturn and Morley, who didn't celebrate, just left the ring!
The crowd didn't know what to expect next, when the Fighting Spirit Tournament began! Robert Roode made his way to the ring...followed by Shinsuke Nakamura! Nakamura slapped hands on his way down the aisle and tried to get the crowd behind him as the match began!
Roode was not prepared for the unorthodox style of Nakamura, who seemed to have a counter for everything Roode did. Roode went to the eyes and used his aggressions on Nakamura that way, but Nakamura fought back and caught Roode with a big sit-out powerbomb for the pin!
[Fighting Spirit Round One]: Shinsuke Nakamura pinned Robert Roode after a sitout power bomb in 0:04:51. Rating: ** 3/4
The crowd rather liked Nakamura, while Roode shot daggers at him as he left the ring!
Johnny Swinger came out next, getting booed...while Jake Roberts made his way out of the back. Roberts simply smiled at Swinger, then slithered into the ring! Before the match even started, Roberts offered his hand to Swinger. When Swinger refused to shake, Roberts said "Trust me." Swinger reluctantly took his hand...and ate a short arm clothesline as the bell rang! Roberts stepped back, and hit a huge kneelift!! He pulled Swinger up and twirled his finger...before dropping him with a huge DDT!! The crowd went nuts as Roberts pinned Swinger!
Jake Roberts pinned Johnny Swinger with the DDT in 0:00:36. Rating: *
Roberts smiled, then slithered out of the ring!
"Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer came out for the next bout, a tournament match, and was followed by Zack Ryder! Ryder told Sawyer that they didn't have to fight, that they could work something out. Sawyer thought it over, before kicking Ryder in the stomach!
Ryder, to his credit, didn't just roll over. Sawyer dominated the opening minutes, but Ryder rallied after Sawyer missed a corner charge, and even got a near fall off the Rough Ryder. Ryder, for all his talent, does not have the killer instinct of Buzz Sawyer, and when Sawyer snapped on him, Ryder went into full defensive mode. That didn't help him as he got caught with the Powerslam for three!
[Fighting Spirit Round One]: Buzz Sawyer pinned Zack Ryder with the Powerslam in 0:09:02. Rating: *** 1/4
The crowd was HOT in this bout, and alternately cheering and booing both men. Sawyer ran around the ring laughing like a goon, advancing to face Shinsuke Nakamura.
Skandar Akbar and Friday brought Kamala to the ring, still smarting from his loss to Romero Contreras! The crowd erupted for the arrival of his opponent, The Man Called Sting!!
Kamala looked vicious, trying to take "The Stinger" down a few notches, but Sting fought back ferociously! Akbar tripped Sting up and helped Kamala gain the upperhand, but Sting came out of nowhere with a koppo kick, stunning Kamala and scoring the pin!
Sting pinned Kamala after a koppo kick in 0:05:14. Rating: * 1/4 [General Skandar Akbar interfered against Sting.]
Kitty announced that, due to Sting's dominant win over Buzz Sawyer last week, Sting was being given a title match against William Regal NEXT WEEK! In addition, Jake Roberts would face Perry Saturn in the Fighting Spirit Title Tournament, as well as Romero Contreras facing off with Anthony Jackson in the same tournament! However, Sting was interrupted by Buzz Sawyer and the referees, who were holding him back while he kept screaming that "I never quit, Sting! I never quit!"
After intermission, Heath Slater came to the ring, with Zack Ryder in tow. Ryder sat at ringside next to Kitty, annoying her to no end. "Gentleman" Chris Adams came out next to face off against Slater!
What followed was a very good match, with two great athletes going at it. Unfortunately, it was marred by the arrival of The Hard Liners! Both Slater and Murdoch got their licks in on Adams, but it Adams still fought back! Adams set Heath up for the Superkick, but Dick Slater jumped up on the apron...and ate the Superkick! However, this gave Heath time to hit the flying forearm, and score the pin!
Heath Slater pinned Chris Adams after a flying forearm in 0:12:30. Rating: ** 1/2 [Dick Slater and Dick Murdoch interfered against Chris Adams.]
Adams cried foul, while Heath celebrated with Ryder, and Murdoch and Dick Slater left, pleased with their handiwork!
Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield came out next, to do battle with Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase! PWI Heavyweight Champion William Regal came out to watch on as his two charges faced off against one of the best tag teams in existence!
Late in the match, Regal managed to sneak up on Doctor Death and yank him off the apron, which caused the referee to get distracted! Tarver loaded his glove and slugged DiBiase, while Sheffield hoisted him up in an airplane spin! The referee called the match due to the unconscious DiBiase!
The Regal Empire (Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield) defeated Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase when Sheffield made DiBiase submit to an airplane spin in 0:13:40. Rating: ** 1/2 [William Regal interfered against Steve Williams.]
Doc hit the ring and went after Sheffield, and even nailed Tarver as he re-entered the ring! Regal slipped back in and BLASTED Doc with the title belt, leaving Doc and DiBiase laid out as The Regal Empire stood tall! Regal took the microphone and told Sting and everyone else in the back that no one will EVER defeat William Regal in the middle of the ring, as long as the title is at stake! "The PWI Heavyweight title is MINE, and no one shall ever take it away from me!"
Card rating: ** 1/4

HUGE match scheduled for next week! I'd like to see Sting win it, but I don't see it happening. The Fighting Spirit Tournament is really taking shape too, and my prediction still stands. Things are getting interesting!

I'm already liking the next batch of 13 cards. Now that there is some backstory it should be easier to get in to the new set of feuds.
Surprised Ryder was jobbed, but I like Sawyer so that's okay. I am glad you haven't totally done away with the feud he has with Sting.
It should be really interesting to see how you write Jake Roberts. You've done really well with characters like this in the past so I look forward to Roberts dominating the circuit.
Kind of surprised you brought in Nakamura. Now I'm going to have to look him up so I get an idea of what he's like.
The Bolo-Jackson stuff continues nicely. I'm not sure if it has now become a full on singles feud or if there will be another twist in there, but I'll be okay with either.
Good stuff, Tommy.

Nakamura is awesome. I like him a fair bit. When he won the IWGP title...last year, I think it was...might have been two years ago, from Hiroshi Tanahashi, I actually made it a point to track it down on YouTube.
As for Ryder-Sawyer....the downside of working with such a small roster is that it is HARD at times to protect all the guys you want to protect.
Incidentally, for the tournament I used a tournament bracket generator I found online, put in my 16 guys and let the generator make the bracket. Then I booked the tournament from there. Makes it more interesting for me...=)

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL Fighting Spirit 2.2.1
The show began with the next match in the Fighting Spirit tournament! Perry Saturn vs Jake Roberts!
Jake smiled his wicked smile and offered Saturn his hand...and Saturn slapped his face! That took Jake and the audience by surprise!
Saturn unloaded on Jake, but Jake used his height and reach advantage get Saturn under control!
What followed was just an epic battle that seemed to come out of nowhere. I mean, everyone knows Jake and Saturn are good workers, but they were wrestling a real classic here tonight! Jake had the Death Valley Driver scouted, and kept slipping out, but Saturn has more than one way he can get ya!
Late in the match, though, Jake ducked a superkick and wrapped Saturn up with the DDT, and that was that!
[Fighting Spirit Round One]: Jake Roberts pinned Perry Saturn with the DDT in 0:16:30. Rating: **** 1/4
Jake stood tall! He offered Saturn his hand again, but Saturn sneered and left the ring!
Zack Ryder and Heath Slater debuted their new matching ring gear, as they faced off against Jim Powers and Paul Roma!
Ryder and Slater were not taking the match seriously, and that very nearly cost them the match more than once! In fact, even Ryder and Slater seemed stunned after a point that they hadn't put Powers and Roma away!
The end only came when an exchange between Roma and Ryder led to Roma accidentally striking the ref, leading to a DQ!
Bad Bromance (Zack Ryder and Heath Slater) defeated The Young Stallions (Jim Powers and Paul Roma) when Z. Ryder defeated Roma by disqualification in 0:21:48. Rating: ** 1/4
Ryder and Slater have a ton of potential, but they have got to take things more seriously!
Ted DiBiase came to the ring, in wrestling gear, and demanded the mic! He told William Regal that right up until a week ago, and he and Doctor Death had been content with working the tag team division and vying for the tag team titles! But that all changed when Regal got involved in their match with Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield last week! DiBiase said that he was laying out the challenge to Tarver right now...you think you can knock me out? I'm standing right here! DiBiase said he and Doc would remove Tarver and Sheffield, and then either one, didn't matter which, would beat Regal for the title!
Regal came out, and the fans booed loudly once they realized what he had around his neck...JYD's chains! Regal told Ted DiBiase that Michael Tarver was not available this evening, but that he had contracted out the elimination of Ted DiBiase to a very reliable source...and "Dirty" Dick Slater came to the ring!
Slater hit the ring...and walked right into a vicious right hook by the gloved hand of Ted DiBiase!
Ted DiBiase pinned Dick Slater after a right hook in 0:00:08. Rating: * (Michael Tarver no-showed.)
Regal gave a very sour look as DiBiase yelled at him from the ring! Of course, everyone knows that DiBiase never uses the glove without loading it first.
General Skandar Akbar and Friday brought Kamala out to face the Japanese sensation Shinsuke Nakamura!
Nakamura used his strikes to keep Kamala at bay, and frustrated Akbar and Friday when he refused to leave the center of the ring, and make himself a target for them!
Every time Kamala would try to force him out of the center of the ring, Nakamura would outmaneuver him. In a shocking feat of strength, Nakamura took Kamala off his feet with a bridging back suplex for the win!
Shinsuke Nakamura pinned Kamala after a bridging back suplex in 0:03:27. Rating: -1/4*
The crowd was impressed by one Shinsuke Nakamura!
Anthony Jackson came to the ring next, and got on the mic! He said that last week, after a grueling 60 minute battle in which The Greatest Bolo, Sensei Bolo, The Mighty Bolo, The Amazing Bolo, Bolo Mongol, Son of Bolo and The Great Bolo all beat him down with kendo sticks, he still managed to spear every one of them and pin The Greatest Bolo in the middle of the ring!
Romero Contreras interrupted and told Jackson he wanted to get their match over with while PWI still had fans left!
Jackson begged for mercy right off, but Romero showed him none! Romero laid into Jackson and sent the loudmouth scattering! Jackson cut him off when he made Romero chase him, and beat him down with kicks and chokes...but Romero fired up on him! The referee got his eye poked in a stray exchange, and Jackson took advantage with a low blow! He gave Romero the Vanilla Drop and put his feet on the ropes with the pin!
[Fighting Spirit Round One]: Anthony Jackson pinned Romero Contreras with the Vanilla Drop in 0:07:12. Rating: *** 3/4
Jackson advances to the next round of the tournament over Romero! The crowd was furious!
Chris Harris and James Storm, a week out from having to face off for the first time since arriving in PWI, came to restore their tag team credibility against Chris Adams and Terry Taylor!
Adams and Harris locked up and Harris overpowered Adams. AMW looked very crisp, but Adams and Taylor rallied! Storm and Taylor brawled in the ring, while Adams and Harris - the legal men - fought on the floor! As the referee counted, Adams and Harris rushed to the ring...and Adams killed Harris with a Superkick! He slid back inside in time to avoid a countout!
Chris Adams and Terry Taylor defeated America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) when Adams defeated C. Harris by countout in 0:06:48. Rating: **
Harris and Storm were frustrated at the loss, while Taylor and Adams celebrated.
At intermission, Kitty reminded the crowd that next week, Chris Harris and James Storm will face off in the Fighting Spitir Tournament, while Kamala battles Heath Slater! As well, Kitty announces that The Hard Liners meet Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase AND Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield!
With that announcement to whet their appetites, Skip Sheffield faced off with Steve Williams!
These two giant men tore into each other! Each man is swift on their feet, and the agility on display was shocking! Doc and Sheffield collided multiple times, with neither man giving much ground! Doc, however, is a more skilled wrestler and that made all the difference in giving him the edge!
Sheffield, however, has learned a lot from Regal and it showed as he took advantage of little openings! Doc hit the Oklahoma Stampede, and everyone was shocked when Sheffield kicked out, but Sheffield hit the Over The Shoulder Boulder Holder and Doc kicked out as well! Doc took over and went for a flying shoulderblock, but Sheffield caught him and hit a huge spinebuster for the pin!
Skip Sheffield pinned Steve Williams after a spinebuster slam in 0:14:56. Rating: *** 1/2
Sheffield, looking wild-eyed, stood over Doctor Death as the crowd booed!
Sting came to the ring next, challenging Regal for the PWI Heavyweight title! Regal was once more adorned in JYD's chains! Sting and Regal locked up, with Regal looking very confident. Sting had the crowd very much on his side as they waged war, Regal outwrestling The Stinger. Sting overpowered Regal and with Tarver gone tonight and Sheffield having just faced a huge match, Regal looked ripe for the picking...until Buzz Sawyer stomped to the ring! He came up on the apron and Sting nailed him! He tried to storm the ring, while the referee held him off...giving Regal time to slip brass knucks out off his tights! He NAILED Sting with the Power of the Punch!
William Regal pinned Sting with his special move in 0:05:32. Rating: ** 3/4 (William Regal retained the PWI Heavyweight Title.) [Buzz Sawyer interfered against Sting.]
Regal stood triumphant, and in a curious moment he told Sawyer to "end him."
Sawyer looked at Regal and grinned! He pounced on Sting and began choking the Stinger out...when Jake Roberts sprinted to the ring! He spun Regal around and hit the DDT! He caught Sawyer with a huge kneelift!
As Sawyer and Regal stumbled to the floor, Jake offered Sting his hand and said..."Trust me." Sting seemed unsure of what to do...pulling himself up as the referees came out to escort Regal and Sawyer to the back!
Card rating: ** 1/2

Great card! I hope Ryder and Heath are not both wearing Ryder's outfit. I was shocked to see Contreras lose in the first round! I thought he was going to win the tournament for sure. Big ending! This is going to get very interesting. Sting should know that he should not trust Jake.

Hehe...see, I kinda figure that Ryder and Slater would wear "opposite" outfits. Like, if Ryder's exposed leg is his right, Slater's would be the left and so forth.
All I can say as far as the tournament goes, is I had it booked from the beginning, I'm not changing it up to stump anybody...(I did notice that Coop NAILED my final card for "The Legend Begins..." which should be pretty good evidence that I book ahead).
In fact, I'm six cards down into this cycle, now. One advantage to that is that looking ahead lets me write in material that helps some of the stuff remain more coherent (run-ins, attacks, promos, challenges, etc).
I appreciate the comments, my friend!
