Just to get a little discussion going, a topic we've all discussed before I'm sure but always makes for an interesting read.
What's your favorite angle you've ever done in your own circuit, and what is your favorite angle you've ever seen done in someone else's circuit?

I really enjoyed the multiple Sting angle I ran in a fed many many years ago ... led by the nWo Sting, each week a different Sting (with different color facepaint, but the same design) would come out to terrorize the real Sting ... I think at one point I had a red & black Sting, a Blue & White Sting, a Yellow & Black Sting ... it was fun ...
I am also enjoying a current angle I am running right now pitting Randy Orton against Christian ... It also involved The Undertaker as Orton kept setting Christian up to get a beat down from Taker ... it has really taken off as Christian has gotten wins over Taker on at least two occasions, and is helping me set up Christian as a serious threat in the Royal Rumble ...

I can't really think of anything right now.. it's been too long since I was involved in TNM, really.
With circuits such as these, for an angle or a storyline to capture someones interest, it's all about the build-up and the writing, so I tend to like the major storylines (like Snabbits Sammartino/Morales feud), or comic relief (like Snabbits Scicluna/Altimore) feud. In real life, I can love a feud due to the awesome matches, but that is hard to transfer to a written medium.
For many years ago, I ran a circuit involving my friends. I do remember my best friend feuding with his own father (which was some sort of legend in my fictious wrestling world), it all ending in a towel match with my best friend's sister in his corner, and his mother in his father's corner. It was very McMahonesque, though.

Of my own circuits, my favorite angle that featured some kind of actual payoff instead of just being a running gag was probably the Team Extreme vs Public Enemy fued. Public Enemy eventually won a big blowoff match that worked out awesome despite not booking anything except the winners (Public Enemy).
For my favorite angles in other circuits, the Scorpion & Major Force vs Haggar, Slade, etc in Kirk's old SMWA is still one of my favorites.

I had an angle that worked out so well unbooked I always remembered it. I had a cruiserweight in the style of Dean Malenko, named Dirty Dan Motive who challenged the other cruisers to Tables vs Submission match. Motive's rules were he had to make the other guy tap while they simply had to put him through a table. I set the match up checking submission match and table match. It worked out for 5 or 6 cards without booking or replaying. Motive made them all submit and never put them through a table to screw up the results I wanted. TNM7 read my mind! That is until the cruiserweight champ took the challenge and put Motive through the table in less then a minute. I guess that's why he was the champ.

Kurt Angle ;D
In all serious it was just a simple old school feud I had between Ric Flair and Barry Windham in my old NWA circuit in the 90s.
The two had a 20 minute TV draw
Then they had another draw on a bigger show
Then Flair won via controversial means (outside interference from Ole, Tully, and Arn) leading up to a best 2 of three falls match which was won by Windham
Windham held the title for about five months before dropping it back to Flair in a steel cage match

Lots of fun stuff to write about.
A Steve Armstrong/Ox Baker feud where Steve felt he wasn't being backed up by his family while they rushed in to help family friend Tim Horner.
A Bart Sawyer/Spike Huber feud which led into Huber having a bounty placed on his head by his father-in-law for divorcing his daughter (real life happening - the divorce, not the bounty, tho Huber was pretty much blackballed after that), after which, he came to the defense of Sawyer only to later turn on him and collect his own bounty after Sawyer took lots of hits for his new buddy Huber.
Not so much an angle as it was an interesting pairing with Supreme as the son of King Kong Bundy. Bundy was always giving Supreme hell about the hardcore matches proclaiming that he failed as a father because he didn't teach his son an important part of the business by being able to tell a story with his wrestling. He also told him to take all the facial piercings out of his face before his mother saw them.

I liked my whole "Mapleleaf Wrestling Federation" where I would only use Canadian wrestlers. Also had the random Raw "New Horsemen' of Batista, Triple H, RVD and Finlay (before Finlay's return to TV).

In my USWA I'd say my favorite revolved around Jun Akiyama when he was my champ. Mostly because all his title defenses were unbooked and he defended the title, like 13 times or something. I was just shocked nobody beat him. I ended up booking him to lose the title at A Night to Remember 2001 and then went on a small losing streak, became friends with Samoa Joe and they were going to go back to Japan and train, to get their winning ways back. I was going to bring in Misawa who was their "trainer" in Japan and was going to give Joe and Jun Akiyama a new finishing move they would share, and dominate the USWA....but while I was doing the promos for them being in Japan Jun quit immediately.
I didn't want to tweak circuit him back to the fed so literally I waited until I was able to try to bring him back. He refused twice, and then he just recently signed back and debuted at A Night to Remember attacking Raven, his biggest enemy. So I'm excited he's back. Although the original feud never really did work out, I really enjoyed the direction the story was going.
I also really enjoy that I bring in all the Luchadores to compete in the USWA (and push them). I am currently trying to sign Mr. Neblia and some others to come in, so thats been an ongoing thing. In the USWA circa 1997, I had Lizmark Jr. and Super Calo as my big named lucha guys, so I might bring some more back if I need them.

I think the cover story I used for TNM crashing on me is going to be a pretty good cover story. I also have to say that I like the stories on Global Championship Wrestling.

just remembered this one last night ... a couple of years ago I had an epic feud between Rhyno and Steve Austin in my TNA circuit ... the feud ended in a Parking Lot Brawl in which both men were injured for at least three months ... both men left the circuit during their injuries and haven't been in TNA since ... it was epically brutal

In my old IWA:NE independent circuit, where I used Critic of the Dawns ruleset, I had a Streetfight between two guys.. cannot remember who it was, but it was a Japanese guy and a CZW wrestler I think.. anyway, I had probably done something wrong with setting the flags for the match, as it wouldn't end. In my write-up, I had them fight out on the street and into a bus, where they disappeared.. that was quite funny I think.
