Report: Latest ban in WWE by Vince McMahon » Reported by Adam Martin of Wrestleview.com » On July 4, 2010 at 3:12 pm
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The latest thing that has been banned in WWE by Vince McMahon is chops (Ric Flair style chest chops) not being allowed reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. This does not include the straight down chops performed by The Great Khali or the hand print chops by The Big show. The general feeling is that McMahon doesn't want people doing the chops as the reaction live among wrestling fans is to do the Ric Flair "Wooooo!" and it reminds people of Flair, something they obviously don't want given he is working for the opposition at the moment.

See, this is awesome...because chops are the most overdone thing in wrestling anyway.

I'm sure he'll blame ECW for it, somehow (Seeing as they've been "WOOing" for chops since 1995)

I'm sure he's already forgotten about ECW.

More like He'll Ignore ECW for now (as WWE is PG)
Once WWE needs to be PG13+, he'll bring up ECW as often as possible :-P

I doubt it. By the time WWE needs to be PG13+, everyone else that had anything to do with ECW will be dead or crippled...except Heyman, who internet fans will still be clamoring for him to come back.

Oh God, I don't mean the performers.
About the only guys from ECW who could still put on a decent match are already on WWE payroll (Jericho and Mysterio).
I just meant dropping the name, and going back to "Hardcore" or "Extreme" matches.

No, I know what you mean...I'm saying that "ECW" will probably never get uttered again, except in archive footage or as a fun fact when Matt Striker is commentating.

True, I'd forgotten RVD.
Can't comment on Tanaka, as I haven't seen him since One Night Stand (where he was, of course, amazing)
The last time I saw JL (Admittedly, this was a WHILE back), he looked about as out of shape as Raven currently does. Pity he got hurt, as he and RVD always put on great matches
(Somewhat related: Sabu looked a LOT better than the last time I saw him.... Granted, that was the Pre-Shaved Days :-P)
I also have to retract my statement, as Little Guido and Tony Luke (:-P) both looked good tonight, and Scorpio looked like he hasn't missed a beat since 1998. In fact, he looked like he was in better shape than his Flash Funk days. (Ok, granted, that's not hard to do...)
