Im excited about this concept. I really like the roster too. Only slight issue is "Diesel has defected". Kevin Nash didnt debut until end of 1990 and the diesel character wasnt until 93ish. No problem with Nash debuting early as he was in his early 30s or the character coming early since his other gimmicks were shit, but its hard to defect from anywhere if you hadnt previously existed. But I do like a young Nash on the roster. Diesel was by far my favorite gimmick of his and like I stated I cant wait for this to get rolling. Booked or unbooked?

Yeah, a slight oversight, but I do like the Diesel character in the NWA. A few more suprises on the way. For the tournamnt, I am going unbooked, but later I may go booked for the titles at least. Maybe a little more booked than normal for me.

I don't mind quick results for long one night tournaments like these. I was definitely surprised by some of the outcomes but the Finals is legitimate. Steamboat just won the vacant World Championship in my circuit this week so I think momentum is in his favor for his rematch with Tully.

NWA Fires Lex Luger! Hired By WWF! A represenative from JRM Sports, the owners of the National Wrestling Alliance, has told the press that Lex Luger has been fired from the NWA. The report states that the no-show at the NWA event in Charlotte, NC, and at least three no-shows at autograph signings was grounds for the firing. Luger then signed a contract with WWF the next day, and was in a Battle Royal to determine their new Intercontinental Champion. The WWF also announced the hiring of The Ultimate Warrior, who was also in the Battle Royal. The next NWA event is scheduled for Greensboro, NC. The main event will be for the NWA World title as the NWA Champion Rick Steamboat will take on the challenge of "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. Also on the card will be the NWA Tag Team Champions, The Midnight Express taking on Ole and Arn Anderson. The NWA United States title will be Don Muraco defending the title against Tully Blanchard. A #1 contender's match will feature Hulk Hogan against the NWA's newest hire, Nick Bockwinkle. Plus many more matches. The ongoing war of words between NWA's Hulk Hogan and WWF's Randy Savage almost came to blows as both were being interviewed by the same radio station this past Monday. Security had to keep the two men seperated as they entered and exited the studios. Represenatives from both the NWA and the WWF have been meeting in Birmingham, Alabama to resolve the issues. There have been inroads in the meetings and a major announcment will be made before June 1st. A source close to the meetings have said that there are talks of the NWA and WWF holding a joint card as early as July 4th of this year. One of the official agreements affected the Lex Luger situation. Before the meetings, there was a 90 day no compete clause in effect. Now, if a wrestler is fired, or quits, he can sign with the other federation within 24 hours. Attachments:
