I know 90% of you use real wrestlers, and I have a feeling that you guys use real life tag teams as well... Which brings me to this question, one of the problems I've always had was tag team wrestling... I always have trouble with tag teams, have any of you experimented with tag teams ? Such as had some wild combinations ?
Who are some of your more successful tag teams that had crazy combinations

Didn't expect for Tommy Rich and Randy Savage to last as long as they have. But for the most part they have been a part of an alliance and not so much a straight tag team. Lanny Poffo and Raymond Rougeau as Canadian Air have far out-performed my original plans for them, but they aren't that out there.
Brody and Reed as the Terrible Tandem have not performed to their potential yet so there is an example of a team not working.
But, yeah, I usually try and keep teams somewhat similar. So haven't had too many crazy combos.

I had Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler tagging long before they ever did on TV. I also put Shane Douglas and Sean O'Haire together and they became a great Tag Team.

I was running an old school circuit in which I had Eddie Graham quit so I hired Dr. Jerry Graham a partner and after several failed attempts to hire Luke, I hired Dominic DeNucci as Dominic Graham their dastardly cousin. The duo won the tag titles and held them for almost 2 years.
I also had a late 80s duo of Curt Hennig and Shawn Michaels that got over.
Im sure ive had others that were far weirder, but those were my two successful ones.

I love using tag teams and creating my own tag teams with real wrestlers and have had alot of success with different combinations;
Ground Zero was Perry Saturn & Mike Awesome, paired together after their respective singles pushes stalled out, went on to become a top tier team for me with multiple Tag Title reigns.
Discosis was Psicosis & Disco Inferno, originally paired together to be a low level tag team, they really worked well together and earned their way up to the top of the card.
Alex Wright & Masato Tanaka, originally meant to be a throw away tag team of two singles wrestlers who had stagnated to be defeated in a one off match, the won and perservered to become the top team in my circuit
Overkill was Steve Blackman & Ron Waterman, two midcarders repackaged as a cohesive unit, who went on to win several titles and work @ or near the top of the card
Stone Mountain & Super J were jobbers in my circuit until I paired them up to squashed by the Road Warriors, after a few attempts they never lost clean to the Road Warriors, lost by dq and count out and the third match went to a double count out, so I upped their push and had them start using the Road Warriors finisher and they became a break through team.
I have had alot of failures as well;
Bret Hart & Curt Hennig really failed to do anything as a tandem.
The Velvet Overlords were Wayne Bloom & Danny Spivey failed to do anything other than come down to the ring at the same time.
I'm sure that there a few more that I'm forgetting but they escape me at the moment

Phudjie - I must admit that some of your teams are rather impressive that you decided to put together, and yet with two big names like Bret Hart & Curt Henning they couldn't do anything worth while is interesting, but I guess it comes down to the AI of the game not being as complex as it can be.

I had a TNA circuit in 2003-2004ish where AJ Styles and The Honky Tonk Man (as a face) were champions for like 5 months
