I know I'm the only guy on this board that does things "unbooked" but have you ever changed someones finisher, to something you thought was more devistating ?
For example: Giving Mark Henry F5 as a finisher ?
Like I said I know I'm the only guy that doesn't book things so it's not like finishers affect your guys as much as they would mine, but was just wondering if you've played around with characters like that aside from keeping everything so basic.

Yeah, most of the time. Keeps things fresh. I usually play it in-game after they return from a trip (like to Japan) or some sort of extended lay-over. If you look at the wiki, most wrestlers have used multiple finishers over their careers so it is realistic

You're not the only one running unbooked. In fact, I think the bookers are in the minority.

Completely reasonable. Many wrestlers have gone through several finishers, sometimes in a span of only a few years. Sheamus would be a good recent example (Brogue Kick, White Noise, High Cross crucifix power bomb, Irish Curse backbreaker).
I'm also a big fan of giving a wrestler a new finisher if their old one sucked. Shane Douglas got the Franchiser and Pittsburgh Plunge none too soon because the late 90s was way past the expiration date of using a belly-to-belly suplex as a finisher. If I ever used Kevin Sullivan, I would come up with something better for him than a double foot stomp.

How bout Hogan or Flair ? if you had either one would you change there finishers ? If so to what ? if not then why ?
Personally out of the two people I could see myself using Hogan quicker than Flair, to me Flair should have left a while ago, and I couldn't really think of a reasonible finisher to use, however Hogan with his leg drop, I would prob give him a DDT as his finisher, a little bit more affective on todays perspective and prob would make him a more of a top wrestler... Atleast in the game.

Hogan used an Axe Bomber lariat in Japan, which seems a reasonable alternative to the Big Leg Drop.

I change finishers some times, usually if someone is being brought in new or debuting.

I sometimes do, especially if two guys (or girls, whatever) share the same or a similar finishing move (that's OK if it's an indie circuit, but if you are running a WWE or even a TNA circuit, you don't want too many people using the same finishing move. However, I always create a backup export of the wrestler just in case I want to use him in another circuit in the future.
