I've come to the conclusion in my USWA fed that one of the reasons, outside of real world work and married life stuff, as to why I can't seem to get though the cards is because it's so much writing for the TV shows.
After A Night to Remember I am going to attempt to book my TV shows in the concept of the old ECW arena/ Hardcore TV stuff. Since I remember discussing how we did "tv tapings" and how we booked shows in the past I figured I'd share my concept on the board.
Currently I was doing a TNA type taping. A monday show that taped a B-Style show (Challenge) and a main tv show (Velocity) Which airs on that following Saturday morning and night. Then Tuesday we do the taping again which airs the following week Saturday day and night.
I've added a Mid South Coliseum show once a month, that has actually been fun to book bigger matches.
With all this going on it's a lot of shows per month and I feel like I'm never going to get through the year.
I think my new concept is going to be to run the Mid South Coliseum show as a "big show of the month/taped for TV
I'll then use TNM to "book a show" which will be booked as all interviews in a "post production" feel. With the all interview shows I can add in the post show interviews from guys and hype the following months shows. This will also hopefully open up other opportunities with my roster.
I wasn't even sure if you could book a card with all interviews, but after some testing it is possible. I think this will help breath some life into my circuit as I'm starting to feel it fade a bit.
