MWCW April 07th 2007.
MWCW for April 7th 2007 will feature Kevin Steen taking on Rhino in the main event for a title shot against the MWCW Champion Brent Albright in two weeks.
Rhino cuts a promo, stating that he’s hungry and focused to take down Steen and Albright and will do anything to make an impact. He will be the MWCW Champion.
We see Robert Roode raging backstage and he is angry that he is not in the number one contenders match despite never technically losing the championship.
Johnny Excalibur vs. Kenny King
The time displaced Knight took it to the up and comer in King tonight. Excalibur has been on NAWA Television in the past, so King is looking for a win and he does get the win, snapping him down with the Coronation for the three.
Kenny King pinned Johnny Excalibur with the Coronation in 0:06:38.

We see Brent Albright’s path of destruction so far leading up to his championship reign. Steen watches stating that Albright’s impressive, he even punked out Samoa Joe, the Samoa Joe, recently on NAWA Glory, but Steen will be the champion because he has what it takes.
Amazing Red vs Frankie Kazarian
The cocking Kazarian took on the high flying dynamo known as Red in the next match. Kazarian kept taking Red down with a series of high impact moves. Red pulls out the Code Red and nearly pins Kazarian. He’s caught up top and crotched. Kazarian snaps him down with the Wave of the Future and scores the pin, moving up the ranks in MWCW against a man who has been on NAWA television as well.
Kazarian pinned Amazing Red with the Wave of the Future in 0:10:11.

Hype for next week’s main event match with the MWCW Champion Serena Deeb defending against the always dangerous Alissa Flash. Serena has scored a victory over Mia Stylish recently on NAWA Glory so Flash is going to take on a champion who is riding a wave of momentum.
Number One Contendership Match for the MWCW Championship:
Rhino vs. Kevin Steen
Both of these rough and tumble brawlers took the fight to each other. Steen gets nailed with a huge power bomb but he superplexes Rhino off the ropes. Rhino tries to Gore Steen into the guardrail but Steen ducks and Rhino knocks himself out. Steen beats the count and Rhino drags himself into the ring but Steen hooks the leg for the pin.

Steen is now the number one contender for Albright’s title and will challenge him in two weeks. Could we be looking at our next MWCW Champion, a belt held by the likes of Harry Harris and Miles Stylish in the past, among others.
