NAWA Glory 2/3/2011: Tonight, the Kings of Wrestling square off against the 2011 Luck of the Draw co-winners in Samoa Joe and D’Angelo Dinero. Plus, the Cruiserweight Cup Tournament continues, opening up on glory.
Prince DeVitt advanced to the semifinals of the Cruiserweight Title Tournament, defeating Kyle O’Reilly in the Quarterfinals, nailing O’Reilly with a huge leaping dropkick in the corner and finishing him off with an elevated double underhook DDT in 9:44(*** ¼)
Prince DeVitt joins Rich Swann and Low Ki in the semifinals of the 2011 Cruiserweight Cup Tournament with an impressive win tonight.
The tag team of LAX defeated the duo of Colt Cabana and Tony Mamaluke. Mamaluke gets pounded until the hot tag is made. Cabana runs wild, until he gets pounded and destroyed with the Border Toss in 11:21(****)
After the match, LAX beat down Cabana and Mamaluke, until the Motor City Machine Guns run out and brawl with LAX. Homicide nails Shelley in the back of the head with the blackjack, and Hernandez spears Sabin out of the ring. LAX set up Shelley, and Hernandez hits a Border Toss, setting him up for a Frog Splash to destroy him. LAX stand over the Guns.
D’Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe have a few words with each other. Tonight, they take on the Kings of Wrestling, and they have to coexist, for tonight. Joe says the road to regaining his NAWA World Title is through Dinero. Joe is strictly business and agrees to work with Dinero tonight.
The Prodigy is coming tonight on Glory.
Matt Hardy picks up the win over El Generico, after avoiding the Yakuza Kick in the corner and pulling out the Twist of Fate in 7:44(** ¾)
Hardy restates his challenge to AJ Styles, calling him an up and comer, but he doesn’t have the abilities of Matt Hardy. Hardy tells Styles he’ll show him the ropes. Out comes AJ Styles, and says if Matt Hardy wants a crack at the Television Title, he can get it. Hardy says he’ll let Styles know, and leaves the ring without another word.
Mike Bennett makes his debut, talking about how he’s a talent beyond the magnitude the New Age Wrestling Alliance is used to. Tonight, he steps into the ring with his first of many opponents, in Sonjay Dutt.
Mike Bennett gets an impressive win in his first match, beating Sonjay Dutt with the Box Office Smash 8:45(***)
Bennett gets the win and cuts a promo, talking about how this is first of many victories.
Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team defeated the duo of Paul London and Brian Kendrick in the next match. Kendrick and London isolated Haas in the ring, for a savage beatdown. Haas manages the hot tag and brings Benjamin in. Benjamin connects with the T-Bone Suplex on London and holds him down for the pin. Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team defeated Paul London and Brian Kendrick in 14:44(****)
Beer Money Incorporated come up the ramp and talk some trash on Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team. Haas and Benjamin call Beer Money down the ramp, but Beer Money remain on the ramp, at a safe distance away from Wrestling’s Greatest tag Team.
The main event features D’Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe scoring the win over the Kings of Wrestling. Dinero suffers the brunt of the beating with Joe only tagging in with a couple of flurries. Castagnoli and Dinero end up on the floor. Joe cracks Hero’s face with an enzuigiri and pulls out the Muscle Buster for the pin in 13:59(**** ¼)
After the match, Joe nails Castagnoli and hits a cobra clutch suplex. He takes down Dinero and puts him in the Rear Naked choke. Joe is punishes Dinero, yelling to him that the business arrangement is over. Joe punishes Dinero. The announces conclude Glory, talking about Claudio Castagnoli defending the NAWA World Title against Harry Harris, D’Angelo Dinero taking on Samoa Joe, and the winner of those two matches taking on each other in the main events at Reality Check 2011.

NAWA Glory 2/10/2011:
Tonight, the NAWA Television Champion AJ Styles takes on Matt Hardy in a non-title match. The Cruiserweight Cup Tournament continues, and much more.
Speaking of Cruiserweights, the former NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Ricochet defeated the current NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Teddy Hart in a non-title match. Hart’s arrogance proves to be his undoing, with Ricochet catching Hart with a jumping curb stomp, before pulling out the 630 Splash for the pin in 13:22(****)
Austin Aries cuts a promo, talking about how he latest to the wire at Luck of the Draw. He’s the NAWA International Champion, and he can’t even buy time on this show. He’s going to send an example to anyone out there, who disagrees him.
The next match featured Sarah Stock taking on Daizee Haze. Stock punishes Haze with a few offensive flurries. A huge backbreaker sets up a bow-and-arrow submission move and Daze is forced to submit in 8:44(** ¼)
Mickie James rushes out and attacks Sarah Stock. Both women brawl around the ring, with Mickie knocking Stock with a loop with a roundhouse kick which sends her all the way to the floor. Mickie pulls back, standing over the downed form of Sarah Stock, drawing cheers.
Kurt Angle and Paul London take on each other in a very intense back and forth match. London uses his speed to punish Angle, and nearly gets the win with a vicious 450 Splash to Angle, but Angle kicks out. London goes up top one more time, but Angle hits a pop-up superplex for a two and a half count. Back and forth, until Angle ducks an enzuigiri and slaps the Ankle Lock on Paul London in 14:55 for the tap out(****)
Austin Aries jumps Kurt Angle from behind and nails him with the NAWA International Title. Angle is pounded by Aries and hit with the brain buster on the belt. Aries has made his impact, on Kurt Angle.
Samoa Joe cuts a promo, talking about how he was the last man standing last week. He will be the last man standing at Reality Check as well. The NAWA World Title match between Claudio Castagnoli and Harry Harris kicks off the night. Then we have D’Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe in the number one contenders match. The winners fight in the main event in the Luck of the Draw Match.
The Motor City Machine Guns tag up for an impressive win over the Young Bucks, picking up the win with the Skull and Bones in 10:48(***)
LAX charge out for the post-match attack, and this time, the Motor City Machine Guns are ready for them. Double superkick stuns Hernandez. Homicide blasts Sabin with the blackjack. Shelley stuns Homicide with punches, until Hernandez wraps big chain around his arm and obliterates Shelley. Border Toss over the top rope to the arena floor! That sickening thud might have broken the ribs, or the back of Alex Shelley.
PAC advanced into the semifinals of the Cruiserweight Cup Tournament, picking up the win over Zema Ion. Ion is flipped off of the top rope, and lands down onto the canvas. Reverse Frankensteiner spikes Ion over onto his head in 10:33(** ¾)
The Semifinals of the Tournament are set, with Rich Swann against Low Ki and PAC against Prince DeVitt.
Kevin Steen comes out to cut a promo, calling out Miles Stylish. Stylish doesn’t show up, and Steen knows full well that Stylish is touring Japan this week. Steen says Stylish punked him out at Luck of the Draw, and is hiding still. March 27th, mark that down, if Stylish has the guts, it will be Kevin Steen against Miles Stylish. Steen promises to make an example out of Miles Stylish on that night.
Harry Harris cuts a promo, discussing the events of last week. He’s going take the NAWA World Title back for the fifth time, proving Castagnoli was nothing other than a cheapshot artist. Dinero or Joe, it doesn’t matter who wins, because at the end of the night, he’s going to be the NAWA World Champion.
Matt Hardy and AJ Styles squared off in a non-title match in the main event. Hardy used some stalling tactics, until Styles nailed him hard, and beat him down. Styles connects with the Pele Kick, and goes for a springboard forearm smash. Hardy dodges it and takes advantage. Twist of Fate is countered, and Styles fights back. Springboard forearm smash is avoided when Hardy pushes the referee in the way. Hardy hits the Twist of Fate in 13:44 for the pin. (*** ¼)
Hardy ends the night by pinning the NAWA Television Champion. He’s going to fight the champion for the gold at the End of Days.

NAWA Glory 2/17/2011:
Tonight, the NAWA International Champion Austin Aries and Matt Hardy team up to take on Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. Plus, the Cruiser Cup Tournament continues, Kevin Steen meets up against El Generico, and Miles Stylish takes on Christopher Daniels.
Miles Stylish and Christopher Daniels opened up on Glory. Stylish makes the comeback after Daniels pounds him down during most of this match. Stylish connects with the Las Vegas Trauma and covers Daniels, until Kevin Steen jumps into the ring and breaks up the 13:44(****)
After the match, Steen beats down Stylish and hits him with a huge superkick, before hitting a senton. These two will compete on March 27th, at Reality Check. Steen puts the bad mouth on Stylish, drawing heat from the fans.
Mickie James picked up the win in a pretty intense battle against Tara. Widow’s Peak is avoided, and Mickie drops down behind her. The huge Mick Kick drives the edge of Mickie’s foot into Tara’s face, knocking her out for the pin in 12:22(***)
Sarah Stock talks some trash, coming out. She informs us of the Best of Three Series coming up, and promises to sweep Mickie in two straight. The winner will face off against Mia Stylish for the NAWA Women’s Title.
Mike Bennett picks up the win over Amazing Red, to continue his winning ways. Bennett bullies Red down to the canvas, and pounds away at him, getting the Box Office Smash for the pin in 8:44(**)
Low Ki stepped into the ring against Rich Swann in the Semifinals of the Cruiserweight Cup Tournament. The high flying antics of Swann put Low Ki down, gaining several nearfalls in the process. Low Ki caught Swann on the top rope, and hit him with a top rope DDT, and hits a flying double foot stomp for the pin in 14:44(*** ½)
Low-Ki advances to face the winner of PAC and Prince Devitt in the 2011 Cruiserweight Cup Tournament.
El Generico scores a pin over Kevin Steen, with a little aided assistance from Miles Stylish. Steen goes for a chair, but Stylish pulls it away. Generico catches Steen from behind and rams him into the buckles, before rolling him up for the pin in 13:55(*** ¾)
After the match, Stylish goes for Steen. Steen decides to depart. Stylish says Steen can talk a lot of trash, when they’re both separated by an ocean. Reality Check will be the time for Steen to get his Reality Check.
Next week, Harry Harris returns, to team up with Samoa Joe, to take on D’Angelo Dinero and the NAWA World Champion Claudio Castagnoli, to hype up the big World Title Match series. Castagnoli and Harris start the night for the championship, Dinero and Joe meet in a number one contenders match, and the winners face for the title in the main event.
Austin Aries and Matt Hardy took on the team of Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. The main event featured Angle and Aries being knocked to the arena floor. Hardy catches Styles, and scores a flash pin over AJ Styles, with the Twist of Fate for the pin in 14:44(****)
AJ Styles has been pinned by Matt Hardy again. Hype for the huge tag team main event next week.

NAWA Glory 2/24/2011:
Tonight, Samoa Joe and Harry Harris take on D’Angelo Dinero and the NAWA World Champion Claudio Castagnoli in tag team action. Plus the Cruiserweight Cup Continues, and Austin Aries takes on El Generico for the NAWA International Title.
Prince Devitt swept the floor with PAC in an amazing match, with Pac using his high flying tactics to take Devitt off. A corkcrew body press is missed and DeVitt picks up the win with a huge lifting double underhook DDT in 14:44(****)
The announcers hype up the finals of the Cruiserweight Cup Tournament, 2011, between Low-Ki and Prince DeVitt ,the winner challenging for the NAWA Cruiserweight Title on March 27th at Reality Check.
Sarah Stock and Mickie James squared off in Match One of their Best of Three Series, the winner taking on Mia Stylish for the NAWA Women’s Title at Reality Check. Stock catches Mickie coming off of the ropes and takes her down with a vicious sunset flip power bomb which holds Mickie down long enough to score the pin in 11:57(*** ¾)
Sarah taunts Mickie after the match, and tells her she just needs one more win.
Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team blitzed to the All Night Express, when Shelton Benjamin caught Kenny King with the T-Bone Suplex and pinned him in 11:52(*** ¾)
Beer Money Incorporated taunt at the top of the ramp. Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team come up the ramp and go after Beer Money Incorporated. Storm and Roode leave up the ramp.
Austin Aries and El Generico battled in a very intense match for the NAWA International Title. Generico misses a moonsault, and Aries takes advantage. Two brain busters set up Generico for the pin in 11:03(****)
We see Aries standing over the head of Generico, taunting the man in question, drawing boos from the fans. Aries stomps away at the back of Generico’s head and slaps him a couple of times. Kurt Angle runs out from the back and attacks Aries, sending him to the floor. Angle checks on Generico, and Aries jumps into the ring, knocking Angle back out with a shot with the gold. Aries stands over Angle’s fallen form, arms spread very cockily.
The main event featured an intense battle, with Samoa Joe and Harry Harris defeating the team of D’Angelo Dinero and Claudio Castagnoli, with Harris making Joe do most of the heavy lifting. Joe knocks Castagnoli out in the corner and dumps Dinero. Muscle Buster connects, and Harris tags himself in, before covering the NAWA World Champion to steal the pin in 19:55(**** ¼)
Joe and Harris have some heat. The announcers point out if Harris beats Castagnoli and Joe beats Dinero, that’s the main event, another brutal battle between Harry Harris and Samoa Joe. Harris was the first man to beat Joe, and Joe has beaten Harris to end Harris’s third NAWA World Title reign. Both men are going face to face, as the fans are buzzing for a fight.

NAWA Glory 3/3/2011:
Tonight, two perspective NAWA championship contenders and the champion square off in a triple threat match, when Claudio Castagnoli, D’Angelo Dinero, and Samoa Joe are going to square off. Plus, in tag team action, Ricochet and Prince Devitt join forces to take on the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Teddy Hart and Low-Ki.
Beer Money Incorporated picked up the win over TJ Perkins and Colt Cabana when Roode pinned Cabana with the DWI in 9:55(***)
Roode cuts a promo, talking about their NAWA World Tag Team Match against Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team at Reality Check. Roode says Haas and Benjamin will go down. Storm finishes the promo, telling the challengers sorry about their damn luck. This huge championship match is hyped up.
Kurt Angle and Stevie Richards had battle. Richards almost caught Angle a couple of times, until the Stevie Kick is avoided, and Angle takes down Richards, forcing him into the Ankle Lock for the tap out in 6:19(***)
Kurt Angle calls up to the ramp for Austin Aries. Aries comes up to the ramp and the two of them talk back and forth. Aries teases running into the ring, but now that Angle is in the ring, Aries is refusing to engage Angle full on in the ring. The fans are chanting for a fight, and Aries refuses to engage. Hype for their NAWA International Title Match coming up at Reality Check on March 27th.
Mickie James evens up the odds in the Best of Seven Series, in a match against Sarah Stock. James reversed the attempted Electric Chair Drop on Stock and rolled her up for the pin in a Victory Roll in 13:44(*** ½)
The tie breaker match is next week and the winner of that faces Mia Stylish at Reality Check for the NAWA Women’s Title.
Prince Devitt and Ricochet joined forces to defeat the duo of Low-Ki and Teddy Hart. Low-Ki and Devitt ended up getting their Cruiserweight Cup Final Match started early. Ricochet takes down Hart and pins him with the 360 Moonsault in 13:44(*** ½)
The announcers hype up next week’s Cruiserweight Cup Final with Low-Ki taking on Prince Devitt, and Teddy Hart defending the NAWA Cruiserweight Championship against Ricochet one more time.
Matt Hardy continued the forward momentum leading into his NAWA Television Title match, picking up the win against Chris Hero, finishing him off with the Twist of Fate in 11:08(*** ½)
Hardy and AJ Styles is hyped up. Hardy promises to defeat AJ Styles and take the NAWA Television Championship.
The main event featured Samoa Joe taking on D’Angelo Dinero and Claudio Castagnoli in the main event and scoring the win. Castagnoli is sent to the floor and Dinero runs wild. Harry Harris runs out and slams Castagnoli into the post. Dinero is caught with the ST-Joe, and Joe hits him with a knee strike in the corner, before hitting the Muscle Buster for the pin in 13:48(**** ¼)
Harry Harris steps into the ring and Joe and Harris get into it. Castagnoli enters the ring and grabs Joe before hitting the Swiss Death. Harris kicks Castagnoli low and goes for the Piledriver, but Castagnoli counters with the Giant Swing. Castagnoli and Dinero are staring down each other after the match, with Castagnoli holding up the NAWA World Title.

NAWA Glory 3/10/2011:
Tonight, in the main event, Reality Check opponents join forces, when Harry Harris and Claudio Castagnoli take on the du of Samoa Joe and D’Angelo Dinero. Plus, the NAWA Cruiserweight Title is on the line, when Teddy Hart takes on Ricochet, the Cruiserweight Cup Finals take place between Prince DeVitt and Low Ki, plus Sarah Stock and Mickie James meet in the final match of the Best of Three Series and more.
The Cruiserweight Cup Tournament finals kicks off Glory with a very intense back and forth battle. In the end, Prince DeVitt catches Low-Ki with a huge running dropkick into the corner, and finishes him off with the Bloody Sunday, which pins him after a brutal match in 12:45(*** ¾)
The announcers hype up the fact that Prince DeVitt will take on the winner of the match between Ricochet and Teddy Hart tonight.
Kevin Steen and Colt Cabana squared off. Steen sends a message to Miles Stylish and their match on March 27th, at Reality Check. Steen brutally beats down Cabana, and connects with a superkick, before hitting the Package Piledriver, bringing him down long enough to score the pin in 7:44(***)
After the match, Steen punishes Cabana, at least until Miles Stylish runs down from the back and chops away at Steen. Steen leaves the ring. Stylish and Steen on March 27th at Reality Check.
Homicide picks up the win over Alex Shelley. Shelley is distracted when Shelley’s Motor City Machine Guns tag team partner, Chris Sabin, is beaten down by Hernandez. Hernandez utterly demolishes Sabin on the floor, and this allows Homicide to deliver the huge lariat for the pin in 11:33(*** ½)
LAX stand over the Motor City Machine Guns, taunting them. The announcers remind us the Guns and LAX meet in tag team action at Reality Check on March 27th.
We head backstage, where Mike Benett makes his way to Amanda Sinclair’s office, saying that the Prodigy needs a huge match. Sinclair says she’s giving Bennett match against a former NAWA Cruiserweight, International, and Tag Team Champion, El Generico. Bennett smiles, talking about his most high profile match.
Recaps are shown between Sarah Stock and Mickie James, with Stock beating Mickie two weeks ago and Mickie beating Stock last week. Now the timebreaker takes place tonight.
Mickie James and Sarah Stock went tooth and nail in their next match. Stock knocks Mickie through the ropes, with Mickie coming back into the ring, and hitting Stock with a springboard sunset flip for a nearfall. Stock catches Mickie with a sunset flip power bomb out of the corner for a nearfall. Stock goes for another power bomb. Mickie counters with a DDT, and jumps to her feet, before hitting the Mickie-DDT, driving Stock down to the ground in 11:08(*** ¼)
The bell rings, and the announcers hype up that Mickie James has one more title shot against Mia Stylish. Stylish appears at the ramp and is taunting Mickie from the ramp. Mickie points to Stylish and yells how she wants the belt.
Teddy Hart and Ricochet squared off in our next match for the NAWA Cruiserweight Championshp. Ricochet is caught up top towards the end of the match, with Hart catching him with a superplex. Hart hooks on the Sharpshooter. Ricochet struggles, and has no where to go. He taps out, giving Hart the win in 15:44(****)
It is official, Teddy Hart taking on Prince DeVitt for the NAWA Cruiserweight Title.
Harry Harris and Claudio Castagnoli picked up the win in the main event under controversial means against D’Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe. A chair is brought into the ring, with Joe getting his hands on it and decking Harris in front of the referee firmly for the disqualification in 13:55(*** ¾)
Castagnoli nails Joe with a huge kick, knocking the chair into Joe’s face. Dinero is pounding away at Harris and dropkicks him to the floor. Dinero and Castagnoli go face to face with each. Harris grabs the NAWA World Title Belt and nails Castagnoli in the back. Joe nails Dinero, and hits him with the Muscle Buster. Harris gives Castagnoli a Piledriver. Harris and Joe staredown, and Harris holds up the NAWA World Title Belt. Joe doesn’t take his eyes off of Harris as Glory fades to black.

NAWA Glory 3/17/2011:
Tonight, Kevin Steen takes on Chris Hero and Miles Stylish meets Davey Richards. We are ten days away from Reality Check.
LAX and the NAWA International Champion Austin Aries joined forces against the Motor City Machine Guns and Kurt Angle. Aries catches Shelley after he’s nailed with a lariat with the 450 Splash for the pin in 12:55(*** ¾)
After the match, Aries taunts Shelley. In comes Kurt Angle who pounds away at Aries and hits a German Suplex bringing him down. Aries rolls over and Angle hits a series of forearm smashes. Angle against Aries and the Motor City Machine Guns against LAX in ten days at Reality Check.
The NAWA Women’s Champion Mia Stylish sends a message to Jesse McKay, forcing her into a Kimura Armbar, and tapping her out in 5:55(**)
Mia Stylish cuts a promo, talking some trash about Mickie James. Mickie came into her world, into her company, and tried to get her championship. Stylish talks about how she’s a five time NAWA Women’s champion, and Mickie is not going to end her third time reign.
Teddy Hart rolls over Colt Cabana in a very brutal match. Cabana is taken down, with a tornado DDT bringing Cabana down to the canvas. Hart locks on the Sharpshooter and forces Cabana to tap out in 10:55(****)
Prince Devitt comes out and Teddy Hart calls him into the ring. Hart says Devitt might not have heard, but Hart is wrestling royalty. Devitt replies how Hart is a victim of his own hype. He’s come to the New Age Wrestling Alliance to prove he’s the greatest Cruiserweight competitor in the world. Devitt warns Hart he’ll see something like nothing else.
Miles Stylish picked up the win over Davey Richards in the next match. Richards uses some impressive submission wrestling tactics to put Stylish down for several nearfalls. Stylish counters a half nelson choke and hits a huge wheelbarrow bulldog. Richards goes for a lariat. Stylish ducks and hits the Las Vegas Trauma in 15:55(**** ¼)
The bell rings, and Kevin Steen comes out. Steen and Stylish have a back and forth after the match, but security comes out to prevent them from attacking each other. There will be no holding back at Reality Check.
Beer Money Incorporated cut a promo, talking about how Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team may have earned the moniker a long time ago. That time has passed, and now Storm and Roode are the best tag team in wrestling tonight. When Beer Money puts the NAWA World Tag Team Titles on the line, they will be ready to go.
The next match featured Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team triumphing over the All Night Express. Benjamin catches King with a T-Bone Suplex for the pin in 13:45(** ¼)
The final Glory before Reality Check features Harry Harris, Claudio Castagnoli, D’Angelo Dinero, and Samoa Joe all in action against opponents to tune up for their championship series at Reality Check. Harry Harris gets his return shot at Claudio Castagnoli for the NAWA World Title, D’Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe meet for the undisputed number one contendership, and the winners fight each other.
Kevin Steen and Chris Hero lock up in tonight’s main event. An impressive offensive flurry by Hero, before Steen takes control. Senton misses and Hero fights back, rammng Steen into the corner. A running kneelift sets up a rolling elbow smash for a two count. Hero hits a springboard moonsault for a two count. Second springboard moonsault is avoided. Steen hits a superkick and the Package Piledriver for the pin in 15:45(**** ¼)
The fans are booing. Steen asks Miles Stylish if he was paying attention. Come Reality Check, Steen will put Stylish through the mat. Kevin Steen and Miles Stylish is one of the big marquee matches at Reality Check 2011. See you next week for the final step on that road to Reality Check.

NAWA Glory 3/24/2011:
Tonight, Harry Harris, Samoa Joe, Claudio Castagnoli, and D’Angelo Dinero will all be in action, leading to their big championship match series. Plus, all of the late breaking news leading into Reality Check this Sunday.
A look at the recent events regarding Miles Stylish and Kevin Steen, set up by Stylish eliminating Steen from the Luck of the Draw Match, and Steen snapping, and destroying Stylish with the chair after the match. Steen promises to take down the former four time NAWA World Champion, using him as a stepping stone to capturing the NAWA World Title. Stylish wants to be back into the title contention and beating Kevin Steen is a pretty good way to do so.
Samoa Joe rolled into this Sunday with a huge win over the former NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Ricochet. Joe beats down Ricochet. Ricochet fights out, with going on top. Joe hits him with a huge powerslam off of the ropes and then beats down Ricochet. The Rear Naked Choke is fought for a couple of minutes, until Joe slaps it on for the very obvious tap out win in 12:44(****)
Samoa Joe against D’Angelo Dinero, with the winner taking on the winner of Claudio Castagnoli and Harry Harris at the end of the night for the NAWA World Title.
Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team against Beer Money Incorporated is hyped. Roode and Storm are talking about how they should have gotten the moniker of Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team. Haas and Benjamin think they have one big time left in them.
Claudio Castagnoli, the NAWA World Champion, scores a very impressive win, against Paul London in the next match. London jumps off of the top rope with a high cross body block, with Castagnoli counters with the Swiss Death and putting him away in 13:45(*** ½)
Castagnoli will open up the night against Harry Harris, and if he can beat Harris, he will take on the winner of Samoa Joe and D’Angelo Dinero for the NAWA World Title.
Hype is made for Mickie James and her road to get an NAWA Women’s Championship Belt. Mickie talks about how she’s glad to in this promotion, in the New Age Wrestling Alliance, and how she hopes to become the NAWA Women’s Champion. She has to beat Mia Stylish, and Stylish is not going to go down without a fight. Stylish talks about how she’s the franchise of this company, of women’s wrestling, and she’s going to show Mickie James why she can’t walk into her yard and take her belt. Mickie James challenges Mia Stylish for the NAWA Women’s Championship.
Harry Harris picked up the win over Chris Hero. He sends a message to Castagnoli, beating his partner Hero. Harris locks Hero into the Triangle Choke and taps him out, after Hero gives Harris some anxious moments in 12:33(*** ½)
Kurt Angle talks about how he has his sights set on gold, and it’s the NAWA International Championship. He promises to show Austin Aries respect. Aries talks about how Angle’s been living off of one moment, winning an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken neck. Well, what has Angle done lately? He isn’t the NAWA International Champion, that’s the Greatest Man That Ever Lived, that’s Austin Aries. Angle is going to be exposed this Sunday, and that’s what’s true. It will be Kurt Angle against Austin Aries for the NAWA International Title.
After talking some trash before the match, Mr. Anderson stepped in the ring for one more crack against D’Angelo Dinero. Dinero fights him off, beating him down in the center of the ring, until Anderson fights off. Anderson gets a nearfall with the Mic Check. Second Mic Check is blocked, and Dinero sends Anderson into the corner. DDE is countered, and Anderson delivers a double-leg cradle into a nearfall. Second back and forth leads to the DDE in 15:55(****)
Samoa Joe comes out to jaw-jack with Dinero. These two will fight in a number one contenders match based on co-winning the Luck of the Draw. The winner takes on the winner of Claudio Castagnoli and Harry Harris in the main event. The NAWA World Title is on the line in that main event match. Hype for this Sunday.

The New Age Wrestling Alliance returns to Pay Per View, and we’re going to kick things off with the NAWA World title on the line, in the first leg of the championship series. Harry Harris takes on Claudio Castagnoli in the opening match on Pay Per View.
Claudio Castagnoli and Harry Harris kick off this match for the NAWA World Title. This time, Harris doesn’t attack Castagnoli at the bell. He waits for the lock up, and Castagnoli backs Harris into the corner. Harris is stopped in the corner, and Castagnoli breaks the move. Harris forearms Castagnoli in the face. A kick to the midsection and Harris headlocks Castagnoli. Harris bounces off of the ropes. Shouderlblock sends Harris down onto the canvas. Harris pulls himself up and Castagnoli hooks Harris around the head. A series of forearm smashes hammers Harris down across the back of the head. Gutwrench suplex brings Harris down to the canvas. Harris snaps off of the canvas hard from the impact of landing.
The former four time NAWA World Champion makes his way off of the canvas. Castagnoli waits for Harris and winds up. Multiple forearm smashes stun Harris and Castagnoli hooks Harris, hoisting him up. Airplane spin delivered to the former NAWA World Champion. Castagnoli drops Harris down to the canvas. Castagnoli backs off and goes for a leaping kneedrop. Harris rolls out of the way, and Castagnoli bangs his knee off of the canvas.
Harris heads off, to take out the leg of the NAWA World Champion. A shark smelling blood is the former multi-time NAWA World Champion. Harris steps back and a running chop block takes Castagnoli’s leg out from underneath him. More of a pounding to the leg, and Harris goes for a spinning toe hold. Castagnoli kicks off, and Harris lands on the apron. The champion moves over. Harris uppercuts Castagnoli in the chin and staggers him back. Harris springboards back into the rope with a huge shoulderblock taking the champion down. Cover hooking the leg and a two count.
The former NAWA World Champion rolls the current one over and repeatedly rag tags him with forearm smashes down across the back. Castagnoli receives a vicious elbow strike to the back of the head. Harris continues to unload on Castagnoli, and steps back. Running kneelift delivered to the chest stuns the champion. Harris picks up Castagnoli and rakes his eyes. Harris sends Castagnoli off into the ropes. Yakuza Kick brings the NAWA World Champion down. Harris covers him one more time and gets a two count.
Repeated elbow strikes further punish Castagnoli. Harris leans down and drills repeated forearms down across the back of Castagnoli. Harris drills his enemy down across the back of the head. Castagnoli staggers to one knee and Harris kicks him hard in the ribs. Another hard kick to the ribs, and Harris delivers a running somersault neckbreaker to bring his adversary down. Harris covers once again and once again. Castagnoli kicks out.
Harris goes right back to the legs, punishing Castagnoli for a little while. Repeated attacks to the side of the leg, and Harris applies a modified figure-four leglock, pushing on the legs. Castagnoli rears back with Harris drilling the pressure on those knees. The NAWA World Champion is trying to fight out of the move. Castagnoli raises a hand and Harris forearms him away. Repeated forearms to the face drops Castagnoli and his shoulders drop to the canvas for a two count. Harris punishes the knees for a while long, torqueing on them. The referee is checking the champion, and the hold is reversed.
Pressure put on the legs of Harris forces the hold to be reversed. The NAWA World Champion is riding in pain, and trying to force himself back to a kneeling position. He reaches the ropes, and the hold is broken. Harris picks himself up off the canvas and uppercuts Castagnoli. Multiple uppercuts to the chest, and Harris drills Castagnoli with a kneelift. DDT is countered, by Castagnoli twisting out and hitting a huge clothesline. Castagnoli waits for Harris to get to his knees and goes for a running kick. Harris catches the leg and goes for a Half Boston Crab. Castagnoli kicks Harris off the ropes. Harris hangs onto the ropes, to prevent himself from going up into the Swiss Death!
Castagnoli European uppercuts Harris in the corner, squashing him down. Harris falls backwards, and Castagnoli hooks both legs before flipping over with a jack-knife cradle to score the pin in 12:44. Claudio Castagnoli retains the NAWA World Title over Harry Harris(*** ½).
Harris is down on the canvas, with Castagnoli picking up the win just like that. The fans are cheering an impressive win at the hands of Claudio Castagnoli tonight, as he’s defeated Harry Harris in the center of the ring, tonight for the entire world to see. Later tonight, Castagnoli will be back to defend that title against either D’Angelo Dinero or Samoa Joe.
Our next match features Mike Bennett stepping into the ring against El Generico. Generico pumps up the crowd, and Bennett looks unimpressed by the man standing before him. They lock up and Bennett quickly buries a knee into Generico’s midsection. Bennett pushes Generico into the corner and clean break, only to slap him. Generico is fired up with a series of punches, and a pair of dropkicks. Bennett scrambles into the corner. Generico is lighting into Bennett with a series of forearms to the chest. Bennett flies across the ring into the corner and Generico jumps to the second rope, before headbutting Bennett.
The Prodigy swings at the Generico Luchadore and misses by a mile. Generico hooks Bennett and armdrags him down to the canvas. Bennett rolls over, and Generico hooks onto the arm, pulling back to hyper-extend the elbow. Bennett rides in agony, with Generico putting the pressure on the shoulder. Bennett reaches the ropes. Generico breaks cleanly, and Bennett waits for him.
An elbow driven to the chest, with Bennett drop toe holds him down to the canvas. Bennett delivers a huge leaping elbow smash to the back of the head of a draped over Generico. Bennett grabs Generico’s mask and slams him head first on the ring apron. A huge running uppercut to the side of the face further stuns Generico. Bennett steps back and uppercuts the hell out Generico one more time. Bennett grabs Generico and hooks him, before taking him down to the canvas. Generico rolls over and Bennett pounds away at the back of the head of Generico. Generico tries to pull himself back up, only in time for Bennett to stomp him down across the back of his head.
Boos have been drawn, with Bennett picking Generico off of the canvas. Generico is slumped in the corner, and Bennett tags him with a huge punch. Snap mare, and Bennett hits him with a running knee down across the back of Generico’s head. Generico flips back onto the canvas, and Bennett leans down, and grabs Generico in a facelock, cutting him down. The fans are trying to get behind Generico. Bennett pushes his full weight down across the back of the head of Generico.
Generico is fighting the hold. Bennett hangs onto Generico and puts him on the top rope. A slap to the face, and Bennett is climbing to the rope. Superplex is blocked, and Generico shoves Bennett off of the ropes. Bennett lands down on the canvas and Generico adjusts his footing just in time to deliver a missile dropkick to Mike Bennett. The impact delivered sends Bennett flying backwards onto the canvas. Generico covers Bennett hooking the leg, and gets a two and a half count. The fans are losing their minds, with Generico picking up Bennett off of the canvas.
Off into the corner, and Generico slams his knee into Bennett’s stomach. Generico pumps his hand and rushes into the corner. Yakuza Kick is missed when Bennett goes out of the way. Bennett catches Generico and Box Office Smash brings him down. Bennett covers Generico and scores the pin. Mike Bennett pinned El Generico in 8:45(** ½)
The fans are giving Bennett all kinds of static. Bennett stands in the ring, arms spread, with a very devious grin on his face. He picked up the win tonight against El Generico, and did so, pinning him in the win. This big win is going to propel Mike Bennett up the rankings.
The NAWA Television Championship is the line, when Matt Hardy challenges AJ Styles. The two men surround each other, and Hardy offers a handshake. Styles looks to be considering it, and instead, grabs Hardy’s arm and delivers an armwringer. The fans are cheering when Styles wrings out the arm of Matt Hardy. Hardy tries to do a forward roll, with Styles standing on the elbow of Hardy. Hardy screams out in agony, with Styles putting so much pressure on the point of the elbow. Styles breaks free and causes Hardy to scramble to the corner.
Both of them circle each other, and they lock up once again. Styles goes behind Hardy with a waistlock. Hardy elbows Styles in the face, and then grabs him in a headlock. Off into the ropes, and Hardy holds onto Styles. The headlock is applied, and Styles pushes Hardy up off of the move. Hardy uses his weight to shift down onto the back of AJ Styles and maintain the headlock. Styles is flipped down to the canvas. Hardy is working over the neck of AJ Styles, preparing for the Twist of Fate. Styles is pushing his way out of the move and kips up out of the move, just braely.
Hardy tags Styles with a forearm smash down across the chest. Off into the ropes, and Styles bounces off in the corner. A clothesline is ducked and Styles nails Hardy with a Discus Clothesline. Cover is made and Hardy kicks out. Styles steps back and a huge roundhouse kick. Another kick is blocked, and Styles delivers a stepover spinning leg lariat to knock him down onto the ground. Hardy dropped down onto the ground, and Styles steps back. He waits for Hardy to get up to his feet, and rushes off of the ropes. Hardy catches Styles and stun gun brings him across the rope.
The NAWA Television Champion had all of the wind knocked out of his lungs by being driven down across the top rope. Hardy bends down and rakes the face of the NAWA World Television Champion. Forearm smashes continued to pepper Styles, and picks him up off of the canvas. Hardy hoists up Styles and delivers a huge backbreaker. He hangs onto Styles and another backbreaker brings him down. Hardy lets go and pummels away at Styles, drawing more heat from the fans.
The fans are chanting with AJ Styles, and Hardy taunts him with a very loud “c’mon AJ” before kicking him in the face as hard as possible. Hardy grabs Styles and brings him down with the Side Effect. The cover is made hooking the leg, and Styles rocks the shoulder up, getting a very close two count. Hardy grabs Styles one more time, and hooks him. Headbutt sends Styles back into the corner.
Hardy winds up and elbow strike to the side of the head. Multiple elbow strikes punish AJ Styles and he’s throw into the corner. Hardy comes off of the corner and a huge clothesline to bring him down. Styles drops down onto the canvas, and Hardy pulls back. Hardy brings his fist into the air and punches Styles. A series of punches are delivered, and Hardy hooks Styles. Bounced off of the ropes, and slingshot suplex brings Styles down. Hardy floats over and gets another tow count.
Frustration mounts in the eyes of the challenger. Matt Hardy climbs to the outside, heading to the top rope. He raises a hand and goes for a springboard legdrop. Styles moves out of the way, and the challenger crashes and burns on the canvas. The impact drives him spine first into the canvas. The referee puts the standing ten count on both men. Styles is back up, and Hardy swings at him. Ducked, and Styles Pele Kicks Hardy down to the canvas. Both men are down on the canvas for a standing ten count. Styles rolls a shoulder on top of Hardy and gets a two count!
Styles picks himself up and goes to the outside. Springboard forearm smash is avoided and Hardy kicks him in the face. Twist of Fate is attempted, and Styles pushes Hardy into the corner. Styles goes for a belly-to back suplex, turning him mid-air and dropping his entire weight down onto the chest of AJ Styles. Hardy covers Styles hooking the leg for a very close nearfall. Hardy pulls away from AJ Styles and beats on him. He puts Styles on the top rope.
Hardy climbs up to the top rope and the challenge for the NAWA Television Champion goes for a superplex. The maneuver is blocked, and Styles drills him in the stomach with a couple of punches. Those punches knock Hardy off of the ropes and drop him down on the canvas. Styles jumps off of the ropes and springboard sunset flip rolls Hardy into position. STYLES CLASH BRINGS THE CHALLENGER DOWN! Styles rolls Hardy over and pins him. AJ Styles retains the NAWA Television Championship against Matt Hardy in 12:44(***)
Styles has held onto the title tonight for another month, and he beat Matt Hardy tonight on Pay Per View. The fans are losing their mind with cheers, with Styles holding the belt. Hardy proved to be game competition for Styles, and in the end, Styles proved to be the better man.
The next match featured the NAWA Women’s Title on the line, when Mia Stylish defended her belt against the number one contender Mickie James. Both women came at each other out of the starting gate with forearm smashes. Mickie won the battle and hooked Mia around the arm, flipping her down to the canvas with a hiptoss. Mia staggered to her feet one more time, and she charged Mickie, before Mickie catching Stylish with an armdrag. Armbar delivered by the challenger for the NAWA Women’s Championship.
Mickie breaks the hold when the champion gets to the ropes. Clean break delivered by the challenger, and she kicks Stylish in the stomach. She picks up Stylish and snap mares her down to the canvas. Mickie leaps over Stylish and bounces off the ropes. Running dropkick to the seated champion knocks her back onto the canvas. Mickie rises up to a standing position and stomps away at Stylish. The champion staggers to her feet, and Mickie goes for the Roundhouse Kick. Stylish ducks underneath that move and waistlocks Mickie before hoisting her up with a belly to back suplex, drilling her down to the canvas.
A huge impact drives Mickie down onto the canvas, and knocks the wind out of her. Stylish grabs Mickie and drives a forearm smash down onto the back of the head. Multiple forearm smashes rock the challenger. Stylish picks up Mickie to her knees and chops her down across the chest. Another chop and Stylish backs up, before hitting a running kick to the face. Stylish rolls Mickie over and hooks both arms, before applying a modified surfboard submission hold. Stylish grapevines both legs and rolls Mickie into a pinning position to score a very close nearfall.
The head is hooked, with Stylish dragging her forearm down across the head of the challenger. Trying to bridge out, but Stylish catches Mickie with a headbutt, and a series of forearm smashes to the side of the head. Mickie flies into the corner as hard as possible, and Stylish drills her with a huge kneelift directly in the chest. Mickie doubles over in the corner and Stylish hoists her up to the ropes. A series of forearm smashes to the stomach double over Mia Stylish. Mickie nails her with a kick, and jumps off of the ropes with a springboard Thesz Press! The champion is covered and only gets a two count!
Mickie picks herself up and a huge jumping clothesline takes down the champion. Another jumping clothesline is ducked and Mickie smashes herself facefirst onto the canvas. The champion drills a forearm smash down onto the back of the head. Stylish grabs Mickie and pulls her into the center of the ring, before applying a dragon sleeper. The champion puts a lot of pressure on Mickie who tries to bridge out of the hold. Mickie drops down onto the canvas out of the dragon sleeperhold, and Stylish puts the boots down across the chest of her opponent. Stylish picks up Mickie and hooks her. Cross-armed neckbreaker brings the challenger down. Cover and a two count!
Now, Stylish is bending down and grabbing onto the head. Forearm smashes down across the side of the head further rock Mickie James. Mickie tries to fight out from underneath, but Stylish rears back and kneelifts her challenger as hard as possible in the stomach. Stylish bends back and nails her opponent with forearms. She covers, and a two count delivered. Stylish stands back, waiting for Mickie to get to her knees before punching away at the challenger. Stylish hooks Mickie around the head and a violent DDT spikes Mickie onto the ground. Two count is delivered one more time.
The champion waits for Mickie to get up again. The fans are chanting for her, and Stylish just belts her with a forearm, causing a little bit of swelling to come around Mickie’s eye. Mickie fights back from underneath, at least until Stylish nails her with a vicious elbow strike off of the ropes. Stylish bounces off the ropes and a snap elbow smash to the back of Mickie’s neck. Stylish grabs the arms and applies a Cattle Mutilation hold to the challenger. Mickie’s neck and shoulders are being tortured. Mickie reaches the ropes, just barely.
The agony spreading through the champion is only doubled by her fighting spirit and sheer determination never to give up. Stylish knees Mickie in the face and hoists her up for a suplex. Mickie drops down and ROUNDHOUSE KICK NAILS STYLISH IN THE FACE! That desperation strike may have bought Mickie a moment or two to recover. The referee is putting a standing ten count on both of them, and Mickie is back up. The punch is blocked by Stylish and Mickie fights away with a series of punches. The punch flurry turns into a flurry of chops and Mickie steps back off of the ropes. A running hip attack sends Stylish down onto the canvas. Stylish crawls around the ring, and Mickie catches Stylish with an Oklahoma Side Roll to get a two and a half count!
Stylish bounces up to her feet, and Mickie nails her with a series of forearm strikes to the face. Mickie dropkicks Mia into the corner, and then backs off, hitting a jumping avalanche in the corner. Mickie hooks Stylish around the head and goes for the Mickie-DDT, but Stylish twists out of the move, and rolls through, applying the Kimura Lock! This move applied on tight, with Stylish grabbing onto the arm. Mickie crawls into the ropes and breaks the hold just in time, forcing a break from the champion.
The champion breaks on four and a half and gets a stern warning from the referee. A series of punches hammered down on the shoulder further punishes her adversary. Stylish scoops up Mickie, going for a shoulderbreaker. Mickie drops down and German Suplex delivered to the champion! Mickie floats over for the cover and scores a two and a half count!
Mickie winds up and Mickie Kick is ducked. Stylish grabs Mickie and goes for a Northern Lights Suplex. Mickie counters in mid-move with a vicious DDT! The fans are on their feet, and Mickie rolls over Stylish hooking the leg to score the…two and three fourths count!
Repeated boos coming from the fans, and Mickie favors her shoulder, breathing in heavily. She waits for Stylish to get up and a huge Mick Kick nails Stylish. Stylish is slumped into the corner hard and Mickie dives in with a second roundhouse kick. She climbs to the second rope. Stylish is kicked, and Mickie jumps off of the second rope, hooking Stylish, before hitting a springboard Mickie-DDT! The head of the champion smashes into the canvas, and Mickie covers hooking the leg to score the pin. Mickie James won the NAWA Women’s Championship over Mia Stylish with a Springboard DDT in 15:55(***)
Mickie has done it, ended the fifth NAWA Women’s Championship reign of Mia Stylish. It took a hell of a fight from Mickie, and two Mick Kicks, a regular Mickie-DDT, and a springboard Mickie-DDT. In the end, we have a brand new NAWA Women’s champion. Stylish can’t believe it, getting to her knees. The belt slipped away from her tonight.
Claudio Castagnoli already retained tonight, and tonight, we’re going to see who faces him in the main event. D’Angelo Dinero takes on Samoa Joe. Both of these men co-won the 2011 Luck of the Draw Match. They circled each other, and Joe immediately nails Dinero with a huge forearm smash across the chest. A second forearm smash is ducked and Dinero uses his speed to outrun Joe. Pepper punches connect to the side of Samoa Joe’s head and Dinero rears up, hitting a huge kneelift to the chest. Dinero chops away at Joe, at least until Joe catches him and dumps him down onto the canvas.
The wind knocked out of one of the potential challenges for the main event tonight, has left the other challenger at an advantage. Joe rears back and headbutts his adversary. Dinero drops down to both knees, and Joe picks him up, smacking him with a huge forearm smash. Joe is drilling away at his adversary and he hurls Dinero halfway across the ring. Dinero is slumped in the corner and Joe barrels him with a huge clothesline to the back of the head, obliterating his opponent something fierce. Joe has Dinero set up and belly to back suplex is countered with Dinero flipping over onto his feet.
Dinero tags Joe with multiple punches, punishing the former NAWA World Champion. Uppercut punch stuns him and drops Joe into the corner. Dinero runs into the corner and a huge corner clothesline punishes Joe. Dinero refuses to charge in again, making Joe come for him. Joe charges Dinero, and Dinero drop toe holds Joe. A succession of elbow drops driven down onto the back of Joe’s head stun the champion. Dinero follows it up by stomping Joe’s head in and backing up off of the ropes. A kick is blocked, and Dinero comes back through with an enzuigiri which further punishes his adversary.
The fans are on their feet, cheering with all of their might. Dinero climbs to the second rope and dives off. Joe catches him in mid crossbody, turns around, and powerslams Dinero onto the canvas. Joe waits for Dinero to climb up to a standing position and beats him down with vicious forearm smashes down on the back of the head. Joe has Dinero set up, and a huge backbreaker. Another backbreaker delivered to Dinero, and Joe hangs onto him, before hitting a third backbreaker. Joe grabs Dinero and rolls him over. Camel clutch is applied, punishing the back of Dinero. Dinero reaches in and grabs the ropes just barely.
The Samoan Submission Machine drills Dinero in the face and pulls him into the center of the ring. Joe picks up Dinero and puts him on the top rope. Dinero fights out and jumps off of the ropes. Joe catches Dinero in mid cross-body and lifts him up. A huge Samoan drop rattles Dinero! Joe covers him hooking the leg and gets a two count. The potential challenger meanly drags his forearm smash over Dinero’s head, and then turns him over. Cross-face submission slapped onto Dinero.
Dinero struggles against the weight of Samoa Joe. The former NAWA World Champion for two times has Dinero down on the canvas. Joe pushes his forearm down into the back of Dinero’s head, further punishing him through the beating. Dinero tries to fight off of the hold. Joe cranks on the neck, with DInero pushing his way out of the hold. Joe breaks the hold and hammers away at the back of Dinero’s head. Dinero slumps down onto the canvas and Joe picks up Dinero. He hammers Dinero viciously in the corner with a series of chops. Dinero slumps in the corner, with Joe throwing him into the corner.
Running kneelift smashes Dinero in the corner. Dinero slumps in the canvas and Joe rockets him with a forearm smash. Headbutt rocks him, with Joe picking up Dinero off of the ropes. He is on the top rope, with Joe setting up Dinero with the Muscle Buster. Dinero flips onto his feet from this position. JOE TURNS AROUND AND SUPERKICKS DINERO DOWN TO THE CANVAS! Joe backs off and hits a huge running senton, squashing Dinero underneath his bulky frame. Joe makes the cover on Dinero and gets a two count.
Another cover, this time Joe hooking the leg for another close nearfall. Joe rakes Dinero’s face and beats him down in the corner. Joe slams him deep into the corner, and pounds away at Dinero in the corner. Joe rattles Dinero with chops in the corner. Dinero kicks Joe in the face when he charges in the corner. Dinero grabs Joe and sunset flips him out of the corner to score a quick flash pin in 12:55. D’Angelo Dinero pins Samoa Joe in 12:55(***)
After the match, Samoa Joe leaps up and attacks Dinero. Joe is angry Dinero snuck out another pin against him, just like he did during the Semifinals of the 2010 Gold Rush Tournament. Joe is beating Dinero down onto the canvas and applies a Rear Naked Choke! Joe is putting the pressure on Dinero. He’s choking him down to the canvas, with the fans are booing. The security and officials rush down to the ring and go to pull Dinero off of Joe. Joe breaks the hold and allows the hold to get broken. Blood drips down Dinero’s mouth when Joe pulls away from Dinero.
Dinero might receive an NAWA World Title Shot in the main event against Claudio Castagnoli, but the post-match beatdown has put Dinero’s status in question. Joe leans down over Dinero’s beaten and battered body, and steps back.
The NAWA International Title is on the line when Kurt Angle challenges Austin Aries in the next match. Both men surround each other and chain wrestling starts this match. Angle goes behind Aries and wrestles him down to the canvas. Front facelock is applied, and Aries shoves Angle into the corner. Angle comes back into the corner like a pitbull with a series of forearm smashes which rocks Aries back. Angle takes down Aries with a fireman’s carry takedown and steps back.
Angle stomps away at Aries on the canvas and picks him up off of the canvas. Aries is launched into the corner and comes back into the grip of Angle when coming off of the ropes. An overhead belly to belly suplex brings Aries down onto the canvas. Aries rolls over and Angle catches Aries with multiple forearm smashes to the face. Gutwrench suplex brings Aries down and Angle floats over to get a two count.
Some chain wrestling from Angle puts Aries down on the canvas. Angle cranks on the neck of Aries when he pushes himself out in position. Angle double underhooks Aries and brings him down with a double underhook suplex. The cover is made hooking the leg and Aries lifts the shoulder up off of the canvas at a two and a half count.
Keeping up with the side of the head, Angle cranks on Aries, working over his neck with a cravate. Aries fights out of the move, and goes to the eyes of Angle .A jawbreaker punishes Angle and Aries snap mares Angle. Aries steps back and a jumping neck snap further punishes Angle.
The injured neck is worked over, with Aries hammering down on the back of Angle’s head. Aries drills a knee down onto the back of the head of Angle and pulls him up. A series of forearm smashes rattle Angle and throw him into the corner. Aries catches Angle coming out of the corner with a swinging neckbreaker. Aries rolls over Angle and applies a straight-jacket camel clutch to Kurt Angle, drawing boos from the fans. Aries is punishing Angle, drawing more boos from the fans.
Angle tries to fight out, and Aries steps back. Elbow smash driven down to the back of the head. Aries goes for a belly to back suplex. Angle flips out of the move and waistlocks Aries. German Suplex is blocked, with Aries driving his elbow to the side of Angle’s head. A huge elbow smash punishes Angle further. Multiple elbow strikes punishes Angle and Aries throws him halfway across the ring. A running kneelift to the chest, and Aries hooks up Angle, before hitting him with a gutwrench suplex driving him down to the canvas. Aries waits on Angle to stand and chops his chest. Multiple chest chops stun Angle, and the challenger is thrown into the ropes. Aries scoops up Angle and goes for a slam. Angle kicks the legs out, and hooks Aries. German Suplex brings Aries down to the canvas.
The referee is putting the standing ten count on both me. Angle goes for the Angle Slam, but Aries counters with an armdrag, and delivers a huge spinning leg lariat. Aries climbs to the outside and a slingshot somersault senton brings his full weight down onto the chest of Angle. Aries covers him hooking the leg for a very close nearfall. Aries grabs Angle’s head, and cranks on it. He picks up Angle and puts him on the top rope. SPIKED DDT BRINGS ANGLE DOWN! The crowd goes into a hush, as Aries rolls Angle over and makes a lazy cover. Angle brings the shoulder up at the count and two and nine tenths.
The fans are cheering, and behind Angle. Aries grabs Angle up and headlocks him, before hammering him with a couple of stiff uppercut punches to the chest. Aries delivers a double leg-takedown and hooks Angle’s legs. Catapults into the ropes, before Aries hooks Angle. German Suplex is blocked with Angle hooking his ankles underneath the arms of Aries. He rolls through in a modified Victory Roll. Ankle Lock is almost hooked into place. Aries gets to the ropes, breaking the hold in a blink of an eye.
Angle now pounds way at Angle, pushing him into the ropes. He hoists up Angle onto the shoulders, and goes for the Death Valley Driver. Angle hammers away at Aries, and drops down behind him. He hooks Aries, and German Suplex connects. Angle holds onto Aries and hits another German Suplex. Holding on and a third German Suplex in succession delivered. Angle hooks Aries hooking the leg for a two count!
Headbutt rocks Aries when he climbs to his hands and knees. Angle hammers away at the back of the head of Aries and launches him halfway across the ring. Angle follows into the corner with a huge clothesline. He puts Aries on the top rope. Angle climbs to the top rope. Aries fights off Angle. Uppercut punches send Angle flying off of the ropes. Angle drops to his hands and knees, and Aries connects with a 450 Splash to the upper back of Angle! Aries pulls Angle and rolls him over for a two and nine tenths count!
The champion’s anger increases, and he picks up Angle, drilling him in the side of the face with a vicious forearm smash. Aries sets up Angle, and connects with a brain buster. Aries covers Angle hooking the leg and that’s enough to score the pin. Austin Aries retained the NAWA International Championship over Kurt Angle in 14:55(***)
The bell rings, and Aries holds onto the belt. He stomps Angle after the bell and gives him the Angle Slam after the match. Aries yells how he’s the greatest man that ever lived and Angle’s nothing. Aries drills Angle with multiple forearm smashes down across the back of the head.
Coming up next, the Motor City Machine Guns step into the ring against LAX for tag team action. Alex Shelley and Homicide start off this match. Shelley grabs the arm of Homicide and wrings it out. Kneelift stomps Homicide, and Shelley twists the arm behind his back. Homicide tries to fight out of the hammerlock. Shelley is driven back into the corner. Homicide goes to forearm smash Shelley in the corner. Shelley dodges it and he hooks Homicide in a modified roll up before hitting a roundhouse kick to the face.
The tag is made to Chris Sabin. The Motor City Machine Guns send Homicide off into the ropes. Double team flapjack brings Homicide down to the canvas. Sabin steps back and hits a huge kneelift to Homicide. He hooks Homicide and double underhook suplex brings Homicide down. Sabin waits on Homicide. Stinging jabs start to pepper the face of Homicide. Sabin charges in, and the move is dodged. Homicide kneelifts Sabin in the back, and hooks him in a reverse neckbreaker.
Hernandez is brought in the and the big man form LAX is pounding away at Sabin. A knot is pounded into Sabin’s head by those large fists. Hernandez chops away at Sabin with a series of huge blows. Sabin is launched into ropes, with Hernandez hoisting up Sabin onto his shoulder. Hernandez brings him down onto the shoulder and drills him down with a massive stun gun. The wind has been knocked out of Sabin. Hernandez drives his huge forearms down onto Sabin.
Homicide chokes Sabin with the tag rope from behind. Hernandez buries a knee smash into the stomach of his adversary. Hernandez hoists up Sabin over his head and drops him down with a gorilla press slam. The big man jumps off the ropes and a jumping splash connects to Sabin. Hernandez covers Sabin hooking the leg and gets a two and nine tenths count.
Sabin crawls onto one knee, and Hernandez pops him with an elbow strike down onto the back of the head. Hernandez winds up and a huge forearm smash rattles Sabin a couple more times. Hernandez launches Sabin halfway across the ring and hits a huge avalanche into the corner. Sabin slumps against the corner, and Hernandez brings Sabin up to the top rope. Hernandez climbs up to meet Sabin. Sabin punches away at Hernandez and sends him off of the ropes. Sabin missile dropkicks Hernandez down.
The race is made to the corner, and Hernandez grabs Sabin and pulls him back into position. Homicide steps into the ring and punches away at Sabin. Sabin tries to swing at his adversary. Hernandez rears back and utterly blasts Sabin across the face with a knee strike to the chest. Homicide meanwhile bounces off of the ropes and kneelift. Off of the ropes and a huge Rocker Dropper brings Sabin down. Homicide covers Sabin hooking the leg and gets a two and a half count after Shelley flies into the ring to make the save.
LAX now has Sabin in the corner and giving him a vicious beatdown. Sabin is fighting his way out of the corner. The referee is putting the count on Shelley. Hernandez chokes Sabin and throws him down. Homicide beats Sabin down into the corner. Homicide whips Sabin into the ropes. Lariat is ducked and Sabin delivers a pop over spin kick. He rushes to the corner, and the tag is made to Alex Shelley.
Shelley dives into the ring and stops Homicide from tagging in Hernandez. Shelley punches away at Homicide and throws him into the corner. A running kneelift in the corner stuns Homicide. Shelley rag tags Homicide with multiple chops, slumping him in the corner. To the second rope and a jumping knee smash from the second rope knocks Homicide down on his back. Shelley covers Homicide hooking the leg, and gets a two count before he rolls the shoulder up. Shelley jumps across the ring and knocks Hernandez down off the ring apron. Homicide goes for a swing. Shelley ducks and hooks Homicide. Sliced Bread #2 brings Homicide down! The cover is made, and Hernandez pulls Shelley out of the ring, off of the cover at the count of two and three fourths!
Sabin recovers just enough to hit a tope suicida to knock Hernandez back against the railing. Hernandez is slumped over and back in the ring, Shelley goes for a springboard. Homicide has something in his hand and he nails Shelley with it, right in the side of the head. Down goes Shelley, hitting the canvas hard. Homicide covers Shelley hooking the leg and that’s enough to score the pin. LAX defeated the Motor City Machine Guns in 12:45(** 1/2)
The replay shows Homicide nailing Shelley directly in the side of the head with a blackjack which had been concealed in his elbow pad. LAX has stolen tonight’s win, but the Guns are not down, and most certainly, they are not out because of this event.
We look at the next match, featuring Teddy Hart coming out for the NAWA Cruiserweight Title Match. He talks some trash, calling him the most feared Cruiserweight Competitor in the world. The fans are cheering, as the lights go down. In comes Prince DeVitt, who is wearing demonic looking red and black body paint when he comes to the ring. He slowly makes his way down to the ring, stalking Teddy Hart. Hart looks from the ring and yells “WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!” DeVitt has transferred from a mild mannered competitor, into this, and Teddy Hart is freaking out in the center of the ring. The match begins, and the NAWA Cruiserweight Title is on the line.
Prince DeVitt challenges Teddy Hart for the NAWA Cruiserweight Title. DeVitt nails Hart with a series of kicks at the bell, and Hart is rocked back into the ropes. DeVitt throws Hart off into the ropes and leapfrogs over the top of him. A huge dropkick takes Teddy Hart down onto the canvas. Hart rolls to the floor and runs around the ring, muttering “it’s just facepaint” before sliding back underneath the bottom rope. DeVitt hammers Hart with a vicious knee strike to the chest, punishing him. Multiple knee strikes to the chest stun Hart and DeVitt hammer tosses the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion across the ring.
DeVitt beats down Hart, nailing him with some chops to the chest. Hart is scooped up and slammed. DeVitt jumps off the ropes and a huge kneedrop to the chest. Hart rolls over and DeVitt holds his arm up, taunting Teddy Hart. Hart pulls himself up, slumped in the corner. DeVitt rocks Hart with a huge uppercut punch to the side of the head. Hart launched across the ring, before DeVitt hits him with a forearm smash across the corner. DeVitt ascends to the top rope, waiting for Hart to get in position. A springboard cross body block connects and DeVitt covers Hart hooking the leg, getting a two count off of that move.
Hart crawls over to a standing position, and DeVitt chops his chest some more. Off into the ropes, and Hart catches him with a kick to the face. Hart goes for a clothesline and DeVitt ducks, before hitting a Pele Kick! The fans explode into cheers, and DeVitt picks up Hart, taking him over with a snap suplex! Hart goes back on the canvas, and DeVitt jumps off of the ropes, connecting with the Sling Blade. Hart is covered, and just barely kicks out at the count of two and nine tenths!
DeVitt rushes into the corner and a running dropkick further stuns Hart. Hart drops to one knee and DeVitt has him set up. Bloody Sunday connects! That vicious spiked brain buster nails Hart and plants him down to the canvas. Prince DeVitt covers Teddy Hart and scores the pin in 4:44. Prince DeVitt wins the NAWA Cruiserweight Title at 4:44(***)
The fans are cheering. Teddy Hart has gotten squashed by this new demonic side of DeVitt. He’s the brand new NAWA Cruiserweight Champion. DeVitt takes the belt, and calmly walks down the ramp with it. We see Teddy Hart tended to the ring, and he gets up, yelling at the referee, and anyone who will listen, that Hart signed up to wrestle a man, not a demon. Hart yells he’s been screwed, and yells at referee Brian Hebner, saying that he’s just as bad as his father. He storms down to the back, fuming in response.
We switch gears to another championship match as we’ll find tonight who the greatest tag team in wrestling is, when Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team challenge Beer Money Incorporated for the NAWA World Tag Team Titles. Both teams step into the ring against each other, and they stare each other down. Shelton Benjamin begins the match with Roode. Roode slaps Benjamin’s attempts for a handshake away. Roode grabs Benjamin in a headlock, and Benjamin shoves Roode off into the ropes. Benjamin leapfrogs over Roode and connects with a very crisp armdrag to take Roode down to the canvas. Roode scrambles into the corner, and hits a series of jabs to stun his opponent. Shelton throws Roode off into the ropes, and a running dropkick punishes his adversary, causing him to slump into the corner.
Tag made to Haas, and Benjamin holds Roode, so Haas can nail him with a few punches. Haas gets from underneath Roode and fireman’s carry brings him down. Haas holds onto Roode, applying a headscissors, and then a modified hammerlock. Haas cranks on Roode, and picks him up. A wristlock into a takedown brings Roode down to the canvas. Haas raises a hand and punches away at Roode, drawing him back into the corner.
The tag is made to Shelton Benjamin and Haas delivers an inverted atomic drop. Benjamin rushes across the ring and hits a running dropkick to further punish Roode, taking him down to the canvas. Benjamin bends down and chops away at Roode, drawing cheers from the fans. Benjamin bounces off of the ropes, and James Storm nails him in the back of the head. Benjamin turns around, and Roode delivers a kneelift to the lower back of Benjamin, sending him all the way to the arena floor.
Storm is on the arena floor and he stomps a mudhole in his adversary on the floor. He lifts up Benjamin and nails him with a forearm smash right across the chest. Multiple forearm smashes follow up and Storm throws Benjamin across, ramming him hard into the ring apron. Benjamin is slumped over the ring apron, and Storm decks him with multiple chops, stunning his adversary. Storm feeds Benjamin into the ring to Roode. Roode catches him with a kneelift and down with a vicious neckbreaker. Roode covers Benjamin and gets a two count.
Roode slams down Benjamin and brings in Storm with a tag. The Cowboy climbs to the top rope and Roode launches Storm off the ropes with a huge splash which flattens Benjamin underneath his weight. Storm makes the cover hooking the leg and gains a very close nearfall. Storm leans down and rakes the eyes of his adversary, beating him down to the mat. Storm picks up Benjamin and slams him down. Tag brings Roode back in. Double kneelift, and Storm and Roode do the Beer Money taunt before bringing Benjamin down to the canvas with a double suplex. Roode covers Benjamin, pressing a forearm against the face for added pain and gets a two count.
Beer Money cut the ring in half and continue to beat down Shelton Benjamin. Roode kneelfits Benjamin and brings him into the corner with a huge ram. Roode beats down Benjamin in the corner, and hits him with a Northern Lights Suplex. Roode bridges for a two and a half count! Roode breaks the cover, and hammers away at Benjamin. Benjamin is brought in the corner, and Roode hoists up Benjamin. Springboard clothesline while Roode hits a spinebuster. Storm makes the cover hooking the leg and gets a two count!
Storm and Roode use more quick tags to keep Benjamin off balance. Storm is setting up Benjamin for the kill. The Last Call Superkick is avoided, and Benjamin hooks Storm and takes him down with the T-Bone Suplex! Both are down on the canvas. Storm drags himself over to the corner, and makes the tag to Roode. Roode rushes in the ring, and grabs Benjamin. Benjamin pops up a stepover spin kick, and makes the tag to Haas.
Haas enters the ring, hammering away at Storm, and also at Roode. Haas grabs Roode and puts him on his shoulders, before delivering an airplane spin, into a double knee gutbuster. The fans are cheering, and Haas nails Storm with a series of uppercut punches. He armdrags Storm down to the canvas. Benjamin jumps into the ring and takes Storm to the floor. Benjamin superkicks Roode off of the backswing, and Haas delivers a German Suplex. That one two punch combination move has beaten so many competitors!
It won’t beat Robert Roode however, who is in the ropes. Haas picks up Roode and throws him into the corner. Haas charges in the corner. Storm pulls Roode out of the corner, and Haas hits the corner. Benjamin rushes in, but Storm ducks, and Benjamin takes a nasty spill on the arena floor. Haas chops Roode, but gets a kick to the back. Roode hits Haas with a spinebuster, slamming him down to the canvas. Beer Money is in position, and DWI connects. Roode covers Haas hooking the leg and they retain the NAWA World Tag Team Titles. Beer Money Incorporated retained the NAWA World Tag Team Titles over Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team in 15:45(*** ½)
Roode and Storm leave the ring, the belts, and Benjamin and Haas gave it a good, but perhaps Roode and Storm are the greatest tag team in NAWA history, and worthy of the moniker of Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team.
The next match is between Kevin Steen and Miles Stylish and with the bad blood lately between these two, it starts out with a slug fest between both of them. Steen goes for a quick superkick. Stylish dodges the move and comes back with multiple forearm smashes, rocking his adversary back against the ropes. Stylish dropkicks Steen and causes him to fly through the ropes, landing on the ring apron. Steen comes back by snapping Stylish throat first onto the top rope.
Steen pushes Stylish into the corner and shoulder thrusts him in the corner. More shoulder thrusts and Steen throws Stylish off into the ropes. Shoulderblock brings Stylish down to the canvas. Stylish rolls over and Steen hammers him down on the back of the head. Steen goes for a double underhook. High back body drop counters. Stylish jumps on Steen’s shoulders, and Victory Roll into a spinning headscissors. Stylish bounces off of the ropes, and a punch to the stomach. More punches to the stomach, and Stylish drives a kneelift down onto the head of Steen. Stylish climbs to the top rope, and Steen is up. A huge double axe handle chop from the top rope doubles Steen over. Stylish bounces off of the ropes and a thunderous bulldog!
The fans are getting behind Stylish, who stomps Steen! The referee pulls Stylish off. Stylish doesn’t get off the attack, instead dropkicking Steen into the corner. Multiple forearm smashes in the corner. Stylish climbs to the second rope and ten count punches. Instead of hitting a Frankensteiner out of the corner, Stylish drops down and kicks Steen between the legs. Every male fan in the building winces in sympathy for Steen after that brutal low kick.
A series of punches stun Steen. Stylish rocks Steen, knocking him back into the ropes. Leapfrog over the charging Kevin Steen and Stylish catches him with a huge knee smash, sending him back off into the ropes. Steen rolls over and Stylish chops away at Steen. Those chops blister anyone who dared come across them. Stylish motions for Steen to rise to his feet and nails him with a kneelift to the stomach. Another kneelift to the stomach doubles over Steen and Stylish winds up before hitting a huge kneelift to further punish Steen.
Stylish grabs Steen around the head and runs up the ropes. A springboard bulldog is blocked when Steen hangs onto the ropes. Stylish takes a nasty spill, landing on the canvas. Steen winds up and a huge clothesline utterly knocks Stylish for a loop. Stylish rolls to his feet, and Steen hammers away at the back of Stylish’s head. Steen throws Stylish halfway across the ring. Leg Lariat stuns him in the corner, and Steen waits for Stylish to fall down to the canvas. Steen slaps Stylish down on the canvas, drawing boos from the fans.
The taunting of Kevin Steen continues, and boot scrape further punishes his adversary. Steen lifts one hand in the air, taunting at Stylish, trying to beckon him to rise up off of the canvas. Steen rears back and chops the hell out of Stylish. Repeated chops blister the chest of Stylish before launching him halfway across the ring. Steen delivers a huge kneelift to the chest, doubling him over. Stylish lands on the ground and steps back, hitting the senton to stun Stylish. Steen covers him hooking the leg and gets a two count.
Stomping down onto Stylish. Steen picks Stylish up off of the canvas. A forearm across the chest drops Stylish into the corner. Stylish slumps against the ropes, and Steen nails Stylish with a kneelift in the chest. The man doubled over in the corner, with the wind knocked out of him. Steen throws Stylish into the corner. Running dropkick stuns Stylish in the corner. Steen picks up Stylish and takes him down with a huge suplex. Stylish rolls over, and Steen delivers him with a series of punches to the back of the head.
Running kneelift driven down into the chest, with Stylish is slumped in the corner. Steen uppercuts Stylish and pulls him to the second rope. Steen climbs to the second rope. He grabs Stylish, and belly-to-belly superplex sends him crashing down on the top rope. Steen makes the cover hooking the leg, for a two and three fourths count. He headbutts Stylish and makes the cover once again, getting a two count.
Steen steps back and goes for a superkick. The move is ducked, and Stylish goes for a waistlock. Steen elbows Stylish in the chest, before throwing him off into the ropes. A huge high cross body block squashes the former four time NAWA World Champion. Steen steps back and hits a huge running senton to Stylish. A cover is made hooking the leg and a two count is delivered one more time. Steen picks up Stylish off of the canvas and forearm drilled across the chest. More forearm smashes stun Stylish and whips him off into the corner. A huge knee lift in the corner stuns him and Steen hooks Stylish. T-Bone suplex sends Stylish down and Steen covers him hooking the leg for a two count!
The fans are going to lose their minds, as Stylish kicks out. Headbutt stuns Stylish, before Steen pulls him off. Steen whips him into the ropes. Stylish puts the breaks on, and Steen charges Stylish. High back body drop sends Steen over the top rope. He lands on the ring apron. Stylish backs off and hits a leaping dropkick to send him back onto the arena floor. Stylish jumps over the top rope and clears it with a tope con hilo which sends Steen crashing down into the guardrail.
Steen is rolled back into the ring. Stylish springboard to the middle rope and jumps off with a springboard clothesline. He covers Steen hooking the leg and gets a two count. Stylish motions for Steen to get up. Steen grabs Stylish and slams him into the canvas. Steen hits him with a running kneelift, to the chest. Stylish is thrown off into the ropes. Steen goes for a back elbow smash but Stylish goes down underneath it. Stylish comes back off of the ropes. High cross body block is countered, when Steen countering with a tilt a whirl slam! Steen covers Stylish hooking the leg for a two count.
Stepping back, Steen goes for the running senton, and Stylish rolls out of the way. Stylish hammers him with an uppercut to the chest. Another uppercut stuns Steen. Stylish runs to the second rope and ten count punches, dropping him down to one knee. A running kick to the chest drops Steen down onto the canvas. Stylish backs off and a rolling senton backsplash. He covers Steen hooking the leg and gets a two count.
Stylish winds up and waits for Steen. He pulls Steen up onto his shoulders. Steen drops down behind. Superkick is avoided, and Stylish bounces off of the ropes. A huge pop-up power bomb drills Stylish down onto the canvas. Steen covers Stylish hooking the leg and gains a very close nearfall when he rolls the shoulder up off of the canvas.
The referee motions that it was only a two count. Steen hammers away at Stylish, before throwing him off into the ropes. Second Pop Up Power Bomb is countered with a Frankensteiner flipping him down onto the canvas. Stylish waits for Steen to get up. Las Vegas Trauma is countered a second time. Steen kicks Stylish low and hooks him with a double underhook. Package Piledriver is blocked, and Stylish counters with a high back body drop into a bridge for a two count.
Stylish catches Steen with a series of chops, rocking him back into the corner. Off into the ropes, and Stylish hits Steen with a backspin DDT coming down onto the canvas. Stylish climbs to the top rope and delivers a springboard Tornado DDT to bring Steen down! Stylish rolls over on top of Steen, making the cover, hooking the leg, and getting a two and a half count.
The loud cheers from the fans are continuing, with Stylish nailing Steen with a series of jabs. Off into the ropes, and the head is ducked. Steen catches Stylish with a kneelift, and superkick connects! Steen climbs to the top rope facing the crowd. Moonsault is rolled out of the way, and Steen lands on his feet. Another superkick connects and Steen jumps to the rope. This time a thunderous moonsault connects. Steen hooks the leg and scores the pin in 18:55. Kevin Steen pinned Miles Stylish with a moonsault in 18:55(**** ½)
After the match, Steen beats on Stylish and hits a huge Pop Up Power Bomb. Steen has scored one of the biggest wins in his career, beating Miles Stylish tonight on Pay Per View.
The main event is up next, and the NAWA World Title is on the line. D’Angelo Dinero suffered a hell of a beating at the hands of Samoa Joe, during and after the match. He’s going to head down to the ring and gut it out tonight, one way or another, against Claudio Castagnoli in the main event.
Dinero enters the ring, his shoulder taped up and favoring his neck. Both D’Angelo Dinero and Claudio Castagnoli circle each other. Both of them extend a hand and shake hands. Both lock up, and Castagnoli grabs the arm of Dinero, pulling him back and forth with a series of shoulder blocks. Castagnoli flings Dinero down onto the canvas. He rolls over Dinero, and Castagnoli applies a hammerlock. He pulls Dinero up off of the canvas and hoists him up in a hammerlock, bodyslamming him down onto the canvas.
Dinero rolls over, the agony rocking through his shoulder. Castagnoli hammers away at the shoulder, punishing him even more. Castagnoli drilled him hard into the canvas, before picking up Dinero and launching him into the ropes. Kneelift stuns Dinero into the corner. Castagnoli hoists him up, taking him with a gutwrench suplex bringing him down to the canvas. A cover is made hooking the leg and Castagnoli gets a two count.
Castagnoli drags Dinero up to his feet. A forearm rocks Dinero and it throws him into the ropes. Back elbow smash is ducked and Dinero comes back off of the ropes with a springboard elbow smash, drilling him down to the canvas. Dinero pulls himself up to the canvas, and delivers a kneelift to the midsection. A series of kneelifts to the midsection, with Dinero kicking him the chest.
Dinero comes back off of the ropes and forearms Castagnol in the head. Another series of forearm smashes delivered before Dinero bounces off the ropes. Castagnoli dodges a back elbow smash, and nails Dinero with a huge kick to the chest when he bounces off the ropes. Castagnoli steps back and hits a huge double stomp to the chest. A cover is made hooking the leg for a two and a half count.
A series of stomps further punishes the challenger, and Castagnoli lifts Dinero up off of the canvas. He drops Dinero down onto the top rope. Dinero is strung out on the top rope, and Castagnoli hammers him with forearm smashes. He hooks Dinero and brings him back into the ring with a delayed vertical suplex. Castagnoli raises a hand in the air, and backs off the ropes. A huge kneelift stuns Dinero. Castagnoli hammers away at the back of Dinero and hoists him up for another vertical suplex. The cover is made hooking the leg, and gets a two and a half count!
Castagnoli picks Dinero off of the canvas, and goes for a reverse airplane spin. Dinero drops down and waistlocks Castagnoli, ramming him into the corner. The NAWA World Champion fights out of the corner with massive elbow strikes to the side of the head of Dinero. The challenger is kicked and hoisted up. A spinning power bomb sends Dinero crashing down. Castagnoli sits out for the cover. Only a two and a half count after Dinero just breaks the pin, just barely.
The fans are losing their mind, with Castagnoli raising a hand in the air. He catches Dinero with a huge European uppercut, doubling him back in the corner. Dinero is hoisted to the top rope, and Castagnoli climbs to the top rope. Castagnoli goes for a superplex. Dinero blocks it and shoves the champion off of the ropes. Dinero jumps off with a missile dropkick! Both men are down on the canvas, and the referee is putting the standing ten count on both men. Dinero is up and a huge knee strike to Castagnoli’s face. Swinging neckbreaker brings him Castagnoli down. A cover is made hooking the leg and gets a two count.
Dinero hammers him with a series of punches to the chest. He throws Castagnoli into the corner. Castagnoli’s boot knocks him back off into the ropes. Dinero is pulled up off of the canvas and gutwrench suplex sending him down onto the canvas. He covers Dinero hooking the leg and gets a very close nearfall.
The NAWA World Champion delivers a series of elbows down across the chest. He hoists up Dinero, going for the Ricola Bomb. Dinero headbutts out and lands on his feet. Castagnoli kicks Dinero down onto the canvas, and picks him up. He puts Dinero on the top rope. Castagnoli climbs to the top rope. Superplex is blocked. Dinero nails him with an uppercut to the chest. Another couple of uppercuts to the chest, and Dinero sunset flip power bombs Castagnoli out of the corner!
Both men are down and Dinero is trying to pull himself up, favoring his shoulder and neck. He pulls himself up, and waits for Castagnoli getting nailed with a kneelift in the chest. He throws Castagnoli into the corner, and hits the DDE in the corner. Castagnoli flies back and Dinero covers him hooking the leg for a two and nine tenths count!
The fans are losing their minds, with Dinero waiting for Castagnoli to get back up. Another DDE attempt is blocked. Dinero is bounced off of the corner. Swiss Death knocks Dinero out of the mid-air! Dinero folds up and he covers Dinero hooking the leg for a two and nine tenths count.
The fans are losing their minds, and Castagnoli picks up Dinero, and goes for a suplex. Dinero fights out of the move, and drops down. He rams Castagnoli into the corner, and a running dropkick. DDE is blocked again, and Castagnoli hammers away at him. Castagnoli throws Dinero into the corner on the other end. Running European Uppercut is avoided, with Dinero drops down out of the corner. He rolls up Castagnoli and holds him down long enough to score the pin in 17:44. D’Angelo Dinero pinned Claudio Castagnoli in 17:44(*** ½)
The fans are cheering, as Dinero has captured the NAWA World Championship for the second time. Castagnoli is shocked, it took just one flash pin to beat him. Dinero favors his shoulder and neck and holds the NAWA World Title over his head, drawing cheers from the fans.
Castagnoli looks down at Dinero and hoists him up. The fans are on their feet. An aggressive handshake follows and Castagnoli pulls Dinero in, muttering next time. These two men will lock up for the NAWA World Title one more time in the future. See you on Glory.

NAWA Glory 3/31/2011:
Last Sunday, we had a new NAWA World Champion in D’Angelo Dinero and tonight, the former NAWA World Champion Claudio Castagnoli takes on the current NAWA International Champion Austin Aries in the pain event.
We opened with LAX defeating the team of the All Night Express. Homicide and Hernadez brought down the beating o King and Titus like a wrecking ball. Hernandez hit King with the Border Toss and pinned him in 10:51(***)
AJ Styles cuts a promo, talking about how he always has an open contract for the Television Championship. He beat Matt Hardy last Sunday, and he calls out the next opponent.
The NAWA Television Champion AJ Styles retained the title over Eddie Edwards with the Styles Clash in 8:08(****)
A look back at Mia Stylish against Mickie James for the NAWA Women’s Title. Mia Stylish will want her rematch, and Mickie James talks about how she’s finally arrived as a top competitor by winning the NAWA Women’s championship.
Alissa Flash scored the win over MsChif with the Air Raid Crash in 8:02. Both of these women looked to be ready to challenge for the NAWA Women’s championship, and Flash moved ahead in the pecking order with the win tonight. (** ½)
Teddy Hart comes out, and complains about what happened last Sunday. He signed a contract to face a man, not face a demon. And whatever Prince Devitt was, he was no man, he was a demon. He calls out his opponent, Tony Mamaluke for his next match.
Teddy Hart picks up the win over Tony Mamaluke. Mamaluke looks to take advantage of Hart, getting a couple of close nearfalls. Sicilian Jam misses, and Hart works over Mamaluke’s legs and back in preparation for the Sharpshooter and the tap out in 11:11(****)
Kevin Steen and Christopher Daniels come out. Steen talks about how last Sunday, he beat Miles Stylish one two three in the center of the ring. Steen throws his name into the Gold Rush Tournament, and vows to win.
Rob Van Dam picked up the win in the next match over Christopher Daniels. Back and forth action lead to Rob Van Dam managing to pick up the win with a sunset backslide on Daniels, holding him down long enough to score the pin in 15:37(*** ¾)
Kevin Steen attacks Rob Van Dam after the match. Steen and Daniels beat down Rob Van Dam, until Miles Stylish makes the save. Stylish is far from done with Steen.
Main event features Claudio Castagnoli gaining some momentum after losing the NAWA World Title against Austin Aries. Aries is caught with the Swiss Death and taken down for the pin after giving Castagnoli some anxious moments in 15:37(*** ½)
On May 15th at Gold Rush, it will be D’Angelo Dinero and Claudio Castagnoli hooking it up one more time for the NAWA World Champions, in addition to the 2011 Gold Rush tournament which begins next week. Also, the Motor City Machine Guns get one more crack at LAX in the main event.

NAWA Glory 4/7/2011:
Tonight, the Motor City Machine Guns will take on LAX in the main event. Plus the 2011 Gold Rush Tournament begins with two big matches. All this and more tonight on NAWA Glory.
Mike Bennett continues his winning ways, picking up the win over Mark Briscoe in an impressive little match. Bennett catches Mark Briscoe with the Box Office Smash and scores the pin in 10:51. (*** ¼)
We see Kevin Steen cutting a promo, talking about how he showed the world how great he is, when he beat Miles Stylish at the Pay Per View. He beat him in the center of the ring, just like that, in a blink of an eye. And now he’s going to win the Gold Rush Tournament. He wishes his current tag team partner Christopher Daniels the best of luck against his toxic former friend El Generico.
Christopher Daniels picked up the win over El Generico in a very good back and forth match, with Daniels picking up the win with a backslide in 12:31(*** ¾)
LAX cuts a promo, talking about how they beat the Motor City Machine Guns at Reality Check. Tonight, they’re going to show the world and beat them once again in the center of the ring tonight, and they’re gunning for Beer Money. They will be the NAWA World Tag Team Champions.
Alissa Flash defeated Sarah Stock and Madison Rayne when Flash pinned Rayne with the Air Raid Crash in 10:52(** ½)
After the match, Flash gets on the microphone, talking about how she’s tired of playing second fiddle. She wants a title shot against Mickie James and she wants it soon. She will become the NAWA Women’s Champion in a blink of an eye, just like that. She snaps her fingers tos how that.
AJ Styles took on the former NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Teddy Hart. Hart tries to make up for his crushing loss to Prince Devitt at Reality Check. He gains several nearfalls. Styles catches Hart with a springboard forearm smash and that’s enough to get the pin in 14:44(*** ¾)
Styles slides in just underneath the fifteen minute time limit for first round matches.
Main event time, and the Motor City Machine Guns take the fight to LAX. Sabin receives a horrific beating from LAX for most of this match. Hot tag made and Shelley makes the comeback. Homicide tries to nail Shelley with the blackjack. Hernandez is knocked out by a missed swing and Shelley rolls up Homicide for the pin in 16:44(***)
The Guns leave the ring with the win. Homicide bounces up and curses at Shelley and Sabin, hinting this is far from over. We end Glory on that particular note.

NAWA Glory 4/14/2011:
Tonight, the Gold Rush Tournament continues. Plus, Austin Aries and Kurt Angle lock up in the main event for the NAWA International Championship.
Kevin Steen rolled over the former NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Ricochet to punch his ticket to the Quarterfinals of the Gold Rush Tournament. He puts away Ricochet with a huge Package Piledriver in 13:33(**** ¼)
A very impressive outing from Kevin Steen, as he beats Ricochet tonight, and he will be facing the winner of Matt Hardy and Miles Stylish later tonight.
Beer Money Incorporated defeated the tag team of Tony Mamaluke and Colt Cabana. Cabana suffers a beating. Mamaluke tags in and is a house of fire, until he gets cut off. DWI is enough to score the pin in 7:08(***)
Beer Money cuts a promo, with Roode taunting the tag team division, talking about how they’re the best tag team in wrestling today. Storm tells any tag team who fights them, sorry about their damn luck.
Mickie James picked up the win over Lorelei Lee in a quick match in 7:59. (* ¾)
Alissa Flash comes down and tears down Mickie, promising to win the championship. Mickie tells her to bring it tonight
Claudio Castagnoli talks about how in a blink of an eye, he lost to D’Angelo Dinero. Both men will be fresh, both men will be ready, when they take on each over for the NAWA World Title. There will be no excuses.
Prince DeVitt rolled over Zema Ion in the next match, catching him with a double underhook DDT. Ion was no match for DeVitt. (***)
Teddy Hart cuts a promo, talking about how DeVitt stole the NAWA Cruiserweight Championship through demon magic. Hart says Grandpa Stu and his Dungeon training never prepared him for the demon arts. But, Hart can adapt, and next time, when they face off for the title,
Miles Stylish squared off against Matt Hardy in the first round. Hardy gave Stylish some anxious moments, and in the end, the Twist of Fate is countered, and Stylish puts away Hardy with the Las Vegas Trauma in 14:04(****)
Stylish gets on the microphone, and talks about how he’s going to avenge his loss to Kevin Steen in Quarterfinals, go on to win the Gold Rush Tournament, and go on to WrestleClash X to win his fifth NAWA World Title.
Main event featured Austin Aries putting the NAWA International Title on the line against Kurt Angle. Both Angle and Aries stepped up their game for a pretty entertaining bout. Angle almost won the belt on a couple of times. Aries catches Angle coming in with an uppercut, and hits a brain buster. Angle kicks out. Aries heads up top, and Pop up Superplex to Aries gets a two count. Angle misses a moonsault, and Aries hits an Oklahoma Side Roll for the pin, using the tights for leverage in 14:07. (****)
Aries got the win tonight, over Angle, beating him once again. We fade to Glory with Aries taunting Angle on the ramp, still NAWA International Champion.

NAWA Glory 4/21/2011:
We see a graphic for Larry Sweeney, a former manager and the former owner of the New Age Wrestling Alliance, who passed away this past week.
Tony Mamaluke comes out to start the show. Mamaluke talks about how the wrestling world lost Larry Sweeney last week. Sweeney helped revise Mamaluke’s career at a time where he was on the bubble of being cut. He became t he NAWA International Champion, and tonight, he wants to do the same thing again, beating Austin Aries and winning the NAWA International Championship one more time.
Out comes Austin Aries from the back. Aries accepts Mamaluke’s challenge, and tells him, he hopes he wasn’t hoping to win the belt. There are no feel good stories in wrestling. If Mamaluke thinks he’ll exploit the death of Larry Sweeney to be good enough to beat the Greatest Man That Ever Lived, then he has another thing coming.
Samoa Joe advanced forward in the Gold Rush Tournament defeating Prince DeVitt, after some interference from Teddy Hart. DeVitt gets counted out, allowing Joe to advance forward into the tournament in 10:53(****)
Hart beats down DeVitt on the floor and nails him with a chair. Hart yells DeVitt isn’t that tough without his demon to hide behind.
The Motor City Machine Guns pick up the win tonight over Jack Evans and Jimmy Jacobs, putting Jacobs away with the Skull and Bones in 13:21(*** ½)
LAX come out after the match. Homicide gets on the microphone, and challenges the Guns to a Barrio Brawl at Gold Rush. No Disqualification, No Countout, Weapons are both legal and encouraged. Sabin accepts, and out comes Amanda Sinclair to make the match official and also to add, the winner of this match receives the next Tag Team Title Shot against Beer Money.
Mickie James retained her NAWA Women’s Title in a pretty good match against Alissa Flash. Flash showed her toughness, and gave Mickie a fight. Mickie hits the Mickie-DDT and holds her opponent down long enough to score the pin in 11:02(***)
Mia Stylish comes out and attacks Mickie James after the match. Stylish beats up Mickie and throws her shoulder into the ringpost three times before slapping on a Kimura Lock.
The undefeated Rob Van Dam took on Mike Bennett in a first round match in the Gold Rush Tournament. Both competitors threw everything at each other, with the time running out in fifteen minutes. (*** ½)
Samoa Joe may in fact get a bye now through to the tournament finals. Bennett beats down Rob Van Dam and hits the Box Office Smash after the match.
Main event time, with Austin Aries treating his challenger, Tony Mamaluke lightly. Mamaluke’s record since returning to the company has not been the best. The fans are chanting “Sweeney” during the match, which fires up Mamaluke. Aries yells at them for being disrespectful, and encouraging this bullshit, which causes Mamaluke to pop him in the mouth. A series of back and forth matches, until the referee goes down. Aries goes to grab the belt. Kurt Angle runs out and stops Aries from getting the belt. Aries is thrown into the ring and Mamaluke catches him with a Rocker Dropper, driving him down to the canvas. Mamaluke covers Aries and scores the pin in 15:35(****)
We have a brand new NAWA International Champion, thanks in no small part to Kurt Angle. Mamaluke takes the belt and holds it up, drawing cheers from the fans. Mamaluke drops to his knees and points to the heavens, holding the championship belt in hand. Kurt Angle applauds, as we fade out with hype for the Gold Rush Tournament First Round conclusion next week.

NAWA Glory 4/28/2011:
The Gold Rush Tournament concludes tonight, plus AJ Styles puts his NAWA Television Championship on the line against Rob Van Dam.
Austin Aries stepped into the ring with Chris Hero, fresh off of losing the NAWA International Championship. Hero’s elbow based offense leads to some nearfalls. Aries catches Hero off of the ropes and snaps him down with a vicious brain buster, which is more than enough to score the pin in 13:02. (*** ¾)
Aries will be facing the winner of the Kurt Angle and Mr. Anderson First Round Match coming up in the Quarterfinals at Gold Rush.
Mia Stylish returns in her first match back after beating Tara. Back and forth brawl between these two women ends with Stylish applying a Kimura Lock for a tap out in 10:08. (***)
Stylish gets on the microphone, talking about how Mickie James got a win, but a broken clock is even twice a day. Stylish is going to break records and become the six time NAWA Women’s Champion.
D’Angelo Dinero cuts a promo, talking about dedication. He didn’t come all of this way to lose his second NAWA World Title on his first title defense. He hopes Castagnoli will bring the fight.
Before the next match, LAX jump the Motor City Machine Guns in the ramp. Homicide nails Shelley in the back of the leg and beats him down. Sabin is tossed into the steps and destroyed. Out come the American Wolves for this next match, and the bell rings, despite this beating.
The American Wolves took advantage of some rough odds, with Eddie Edwards locking Alex Shelley into a Half Boston Crab in 11:52 for the tap out. (*** ¾)
LAX run down and beat on the Motor City Machine Guns. These two teams will square off in Barrio Odds at Gold Rush.
Miles Stylish cuts a promo, discussing his upcoming Gold Rush Quarterfinal Match against Kevin Steen. Stylish lost last time out, but he’ll win this time, win the other two matches, and then get the NAWA World Title back at WrestleClash X.
The next match featured the NAWA Television Title on the line, when AJ Styles stepped into the ring against Rob Van Dam. Van Dam was attacked from Mike Bennett. Styles didn’t see the attack, and he hits the Styles Clash for the pin in 11:05(*** ¼)
After the match, Bennett and Styles lock eyes onto each other. Bennett leaves the ring, the damage done to Rob Van Dam.
Main event time, with Kurt Angle picking up the win over Mr. Anderson. Anderson is cocky going up top and Angle picks up the win with the Angle Slam, scoring the three count and the pin in 14:16(****)
The final Quarterfinal is set, with Austin Aries taking on Kurt Angle. Three big Quarterfinal Matches, with Aries against Angle, Steen against Stylish, and Christopher Daniels against AJ Styles, with Joe getting a bye to the Semifinals. Gold Rush Tournament is on May 15th. Don’t miss it.

NAWA Glory 5/5/2011:
Tonight, in a preview for two Gold Rush Tournament Quarterfinal Round Matches, Christopher Daniels and Austin Aries join forces to take on Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. All this and more tonight on NAWA Glory.
Two former NAWA Cruiserweight Champions locked up, when El Generico takes on Teddy Hart. Some back and forth action, with Hart managing to catch Generico off of the ropes when he tried a springboard Tornado DDT. He works Generico over and slaps on the Sharpshooter for the submission in 11:53(*** ¼)
Prince DeVitt comes out to save Generico from a further beating. Devitt invites Hart to face him in ten days at Gold Rush for the NAWA Cruiserweight Title. Hart accepts, saying Devitt’s tricks won’t catch him off guard a second time.
Beer Money Incorporated retained the NAWA World Tag Team Titles over their rivals, the All Night Express. A brutal back and forth tag team match ended with the DWI on Rhett Titus in 9:01(***)
Look at D’Angelo Dinero and Claudio Castagnoli. Both men are training hard and they are going in fresh, with no excuses. Dinero vows to walk out with the NAWA World Title, and Castagnoli wants to be a two time champion.
Mickie James scored the win over Madison Rayne. Mickie goes down hard on a corner whip, but she fights through the pain, ending with a Mickie DDT for the pin in 7:44(**)
After the match, Mia Stylish charges down and attacks Mickie James. James is knocked to the floor and Stylish throws her into the post, busting Mickie wide open. The fans are in a hush, and the mats are pulled back, with Stylish hitting a brain buster on the exposed concrete. Mickie’s skull smacks against the floor.
Paramedics are out, to tend to Mickie, as Stylish yells Mickie never should have came into her world. Blood splatters are shown on the concrete, and it resembles a murder scene more than a wrestling match.
LAX scored the win over TJ Perkins and Colt Cabana. Cabana is nailed with the Gringo Killer from Homicide and pinned in 13:55(****)
After the match, LAX talks trash against the Motor City Machine Guns and they also talk a little smack about Beer Money, promising to win the tag team titles at the first early opportunity.
Samoa Joe cuts a promo, talking about how the NAWA World Title slipped through his fingers numerous times, but now, he’s going to win the Gold Rush Tournament. And he’s in the Semifinals, so whoever fights him out of Kurt Angle and Austin Aries is going to be beaten, And Joe’s going to wreck them.
Christopher Daniels and Austin Aries picked up the win in a very impressive tag team match over the duo of Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. Aries and Angle brawl to the back, and Daniels hits Styles with the Best Moonsault ever to score the pin in 17:19(*** ¾)
Christopher Daniels against AJ Styles and Kurt Angle against Austin Aries are two big matches for Gold Rush. Also, Kevin Steen against Miles Stylish and Samoa Joe receiving a bye round off the tournament nicely.

NAWA Glory 5/12/2011:
Tonight, we’ll have Miles Stylish, Kevin Steen, and Samoa Joe in a Triple Threat Match, as a bit of a preview for the 2011 Gold Rush Tournament. Glory begins right now.
The Kings of Wrestling and D’Angelo Dinero teamed up to take on Beer Money Incorporated and Mr. Anderson when Dinero pinned James Storm with the DDE in a six man tag team match in 14:35(**** ¼)
This Sunday, they will be opponents. Claudio Castagnoli and D’Angelo Dinero look at each other. They worked pretty well tonight, and this Sunday things will change. Castagnoli and Dinero for the NAWA World Championship on Pay Per View at Gold Rush.
Mia Stylish cuts a promo, talking about how she bloodied Mickie James last week. If Mickie had any decency, next week on Glory, she’ll come out and surrender her title to Mia Stylish and apologize for stepping into her world. Stylish says she’s giving Mickie seven days to think about what she’s done. The gauntlet has been thrown down by the former five time NAWA Women’s champion.
Hernandez and Chris Sabin had a pretty intense match, a preview to the Barrio Rules Match between LAX and the Motor City Machine Guns. Sabin misses a dive off of the top rope and Hernandez wipes out Sabin before hitting the Border Toss for the pin in 10:08(*** ¾)
Homicide helps Hernandez beat down Sabin. Shelley runs them off with a chair, but the damage has already been done.
Tony Mamaluke is backstage, cutting a promo, talking about how after winning the NAWA International Championship, he’s ready to move forward. He knows Larry’s watching down and smiling on him. In comes Austin Aries, who says it wasn’t Larry Sweeney watching over him, it was Kurt Angle. He says Mamaluke better cherish every single moment with that title, because in a fair fight, Austin Aries will wipe the mat with Mamaluke every time. Mike Bennett continued his winning ways, beating Jay Briscoe with the Box Office Smash in 10:45(** ½)
After the match, Rob Van Dam rushes out and gets into it with Bennett. Bennett is knocked out of the ring. Van Dam stands tall in the ring, and Bennett throws a fit. These two men will collide at Gold Rush.

Samoa Joe picked up the win in the Triple Threat main event against Miles Stylish and Kevin Steen. Steen and Stylish tore into each other, and several nearfalls happened. Joe picked his spots wisely, finishing off Stylish with the Muscle Buster in 16:13(**** ¼)

Tonight, the Tenth ever Gold Rush Tournament takes place, where the winner will receive an NAWA World Title Match at WrestleClash X. Plus, the main event features D’Angelo Dinero taking on Claudio Castagnoli for the NAWA World Title in a return match for Reality Check. You don’t want to miss it.
Mike Bennett and Rob Van Dam went to a fifteen minute time limit draw in the First Round of the Gold Rush Tournament. Tonight, both of them step into the ring with each other in the opening bout here on Pay Per View. Van Dam rattles Bennett at the bell with a series of kicks to the ribs. Van Dam jumps up and wraps his legs around Bennett’s head. Spinning headscissors rocks Bennett down to the canvas. Van Dam hits a series of kicks to the ribs, further punishing Bennett. Van Dam jumps in the corner and forearm smashes Bennett in the chest. Repeated forearm smashes and Van Dam sends Bennett off into the ropes.
Two leap frogs and a spinning back elbow smash knocks Bennett down to the canvas. Van Dam goes for a kick. Bennett blocks the kick, and Van Dam twists around, hitting a spin kick to knock Bennett down to the canvas. The fans are cheering and Van Dam delivers the thumb point to get more heat from the fans. Van Dam waits for Bennett to get to his feet. Repeated kicks to the ribs stuns Bennett and throws him across the ropes. Forward roll is avoided.
Van Dam hits the corner and Bennett strikes him with a vicious forearm smash. Inverted atomic drop punishes Van Dam. Bennett hits him with repeated forearm smashes down across the face. Van Dam flies into the corner. A series of forearm smashes stun Van Dam and Bennett scoops him up in a bodyslam position. A huge backbreaker punishes Van Dam. Bennett hangs onto Van Dam and hits a second backbreaker. He makes a cover hooking the leg. Kickout delivered by Rob Van Dam.
Bennett drills multiple forearm smashes down onto the back of Van Dam. He applies a surfboard submission hold. The fans rally behind Van Dam. Bennett keeps punishing his enemy and rolls him over. Repeated stomps to the back and Bennett grabs Van Dam. Van Dam kicks away at Bennett from his back. Firing back with an elbow drop stuns Van Dam. Bennett picks up Van Dam and front facelocks him. Pressure is put on the back. Bennett yells that he has Van Dam. Van Dam pulls himself up and rams Bennett into the corner.
Repeated kicks to the side of the head stun Bennett and Van Dam throws him halfway across the ring. Spin kick drilled Bennett down into the corner stuns him. Van Dam jabs away at Bennett and off across the ring. A leaping leg lariat takes Bennett down. Forward roll and rolling Thunder misses when Bennett rolls out of the way. Bennett pops back up and kneelift into a reverse neckbreaker. Van Dam crumples up hard on the canvas and Bennett covers him hooking the leg, only getting a two count.
A kneedrop down across the chest punishes Van Dam. Van Dam crawls to his hands. A series of forearm smashes drills Van Dam across the face. Van Dam is launched halfway across the ring. A huge clothesline stuns Van Dam against the ropes. Bennett pushes Rob Van Dam down across the top rope. Climbing to the top rope, Bennett has Van Dam set up. Superplex is blocked, with Van Dam kicking Bennett off of the ropes. Bennett lands on his feet and Van Dam dives off of the top ropes with a springboard side kick. He has Bennett down on the canvas and he covers for a two count.
Van Dam refuses to be denied. Jabs stun Bennett and Van Dam throws Bennett across the ring. A huge kneelift in the corner further punishes Bennett. Van Dam stands back and waits for Bennett to come after him. Multiple chops rattle Bennett and Van Dam throws him halfway across the ring. Bennett hits the corner hard. Van Dam rushes into the corner and a huge kneelift in the corner stuns Bennett. Van Dam bounces off the ropes and Rolling Thunder connects this time. Van Dam covers Bennett hooking the leg and only gets a two and three fourths count when Bennett brings his shoulder up off of the canvas.
Stepping by, and Van Dam goes for a kick. The kick is avoided and Bennett chop blocks Van Dam down. Van Dam rolls over and Bennett hammers the top of the head. He has Van Dam set up and huge Box Office Smash brings him down. Bennett covers Van Dam and scores the pin. Mike Bennett pins Rob Van Dam in 10:44(**)
A shocking win tonight as Mike Bennett both remains undefeated and picks up a win over Rob Van Dam tonight at NAWA Gold Rush 2011. Bennett is really rolling on and it might not be long before championship gold is strapped around his waist. The arrogance would continue.
Gold Rush Tournament continues with the first Quarter Final round match. Former tag team partners turned bitter enemies in the form of AJ Styles against Christopher Daniels. Both men circle each other and they chain wrestle. Styles arm drags Daniels and goes after the arm. A cross-armbreaker is applied with Daniels scrambling to the ropes to break the hold. Styles grabs Daniels when he is up and inverted atomic drop.
Back off the ropes and Styles leapfrogs over Daniels. Styles catches Daniels with a huge jumping punch when coming off of the ropes. Jabs catch Daniels when he goes off to his knees. Daniels legsweeps Styles and goes for a kneedrop. Styles moves out of the way and Daniels lands on the canvas hard. Styles steps back and hits a running dropkick to the side of the head to punish his adversary. The full blast hits him hard in the face.
The fans are chanting for AJ Styles and Styles plays along, backing Daniels off into the corner. He chops Daniels into the chest. Daniels recoils in pain from the stinging blow. Styles rears back and nails Daniels with another chop. More chest chops stun Daniels and Styles snap mares Daniels out of the corner. A series of stomps punishes Daniels and Styles hoists him up. A vertical suplex brings Daniels down to the canvas. Styles steps back and spreads his hands back off of the canvas.
Styles throws Daniels off into the corner. Charging in with a shoulder thrust, which doubles over Daniels. Styles hoists up Daniels. Daniels drops behind Styles and hits him in the back of the head. Repeated forearm smashes, and Daniels grabs Styles, before pulling him into a spinning leg lariat. Down goes the NAWA Television Champion and Daniels covers Styles hooking the leg. Styles kicks out of the corner. Daniels rolls Styles over and applies a modified crucifix submission hold on him. Daniels spends some time working over the neck and the shoulders of Styles, while also applying a modified dragon sleeper.
The referee checks the champion, asking if he wants to submit. Daniels breaks the hold instead. He grabs Styles and slaps him back down. He delivers a leaping double stomp to the chest, and Daniels hits a reverse kick to the side of the head of the downed Styles. Daniels steps forward and hits a moonsault down to the chest of the downed adversary. Cover hooking the leg, and Styles kicks out of the cover.
The former multi time champion winds up and jab to the throat of Styles as he’s on his knees. Daniels steps back and hits a stepover enzuigiri which drops Styles face-first down onto the canvas. Daniels leans down and pulls up Styles. Styles falls back into the corner and Daniels repeatedly nails him with forearm smashes in the corner. Daniels puts Styles on the top rope. He climbs up with Styles. Daniels leaps on the shoulders of Styles and takes him down off of the ropes with a Frankensteiner. Daniels hooks both legs on the way down. Styles kicks out of the cover, just barely.
Daniels bends down and drags his knuckles into the eyes of Styles, drawing boos from the fans. A series of forearm smashes pop Styles across the bridge of the nose. Daniels waits for Styles and kicks him in the chest. Another kick and Daniels underhooks the arms. He goes for the Angel’s Wings. High back body drop counters the move in one fell swoop!
Both Daniels and Styles are down on the canvas. Styles is back up and elbow strike to Daniels. Another couple of elbow strikes and Styles knocks Daniels off through the ropes with a dropkick. Daniels scrambles to the top rope. Styles goes to grab Daniels. The Fallen Angel counters with a modified stun gun which doubles him over. Daniels delivers a springboard clothesline to take Styles down onto the canvas. Cover hooking the leg, and Styles just drags the shoulder up off of the canvas just barely.
The Fallen Angel picks up Styles and hoists him up. Belly to back suplex sends him crashing down onto the canvas. Styles is covered hooking the leg and Daniels gets a two count. Daniels steps up and grinds the sole of his boot down into the face of AJ Styles. The Fallen Angel steps back, a very sadistic smile on his face. He nails Styles with a huge kick to the chest. Another series of rapid fire kicks to the chest. Another belly to back suplex, no Styles flips over, lands on his feet. Turning around and boom, straight into the Pele Kick!
Standing ten count is put on both of the men on the canvas. Daniels and Styles climb to a standing position. Both of them trade jabs with each other, with Daniels winning the battle, catching Styles across the side of the head with a vicious jab. He throws Styles across the ring. Back elbow smash is avoided, and Styles catches Daniels coming off of the ropes with a huge forearm smash. Daniels is in the corner and Styles nails him with a huge leaping forearm smash into the corner.
Styles climbs to the outside and waits for Daniels to get up to a standing position. A springboard cross body block is delivered. Two count hooking the leg when Daniels kicks out. Styles kicks Daniels in the chest, and goes for the Styles Clash. Daniels fights out of the hold and low blow to Styles. Daniels small packages Styles for a two and nine tenths count!
The Fallen Angel kicks Styles and onto the shoulders. A gutbuster stuns Styles. Daniels climbs to the top rope, and goes for the Best Moonsault ever. Styles kips up and dropkicks Daniels from behind. Daniels split legs the top rope, dropping crotch-first down across it. Styles climbs to the top rope behind Daniels and then in front of him. Both men are fighting on the ropes. Daniels sends Styles off of the ropes. Daniels goes for a sunset flip off of the top rope. Styles counters by rolling through, into position. Styles Clash brings Daniels down. Styles rolls Daniels onto his back and hols him down just enough to score the pin. AJ Styles pins Christopher Daniels in the Gold Rush Tournament in 11:44(*** ½)
AJ Styles advances forward into the Gold Rush Tournament, picking up the win over Christopher Daniels. He will be taking on the winner of the Kevin Steen and Miles Stylish match in the Semifinals match.
Speaking of Kevin Steen and Miles Stylish they step into the ring to go against each other in the next Gold Rush Tournament Match. Both men start slugging each other at the bell, with Steen winning the battle with a huge clothesline. Steen stomps away at Stylish and throws him into the corner. A running spear into the corner is avoided, and Stylish rolls up Steen out of the corner. He delivers a running dropkick which knocks Steen onto his back. Steen crawls up to his knees. Stylish nails him with multiple forearm smashes down across the side of the head. Stylish throws Steen halfway across the ring. Running dropkick catches Steen and doubles him over in the corner. Stylish winds up and chops his adversary hard.
More chops in the corner rock Steen and Stylish propels him almost all the way across the ring. He ducks the head and Steen comes back with a kick to the face. Steen steps back and hits a superkick to the chest. Stylish crumples down to the canvas. Steen hooks the leg for a two count. Up to his feet, and Steen drops a massive elbowdrop upon the chest of Miles Stylish. Steen starts stomping down on the chest of Stylish and pulls him up. A headbutt punishes Stylish down into the corner. Steen shoulder thrusts Stylish and hoists him up onto his shoulder. Samoan Drop brings Stylish down to the canvas. Steen covers Stylish for a two count.
Another cover and another two count. Steen bends down and punches away at Stylish. Stylish squirms underneath the punches from Stylish. Steen picks up Stylish and chops him across the chest. A series of chops rattle him across the chest and Steen snap mares Stylish. Basement dropkicked delivered to Stylish. Steen covers him hooking the leg and gets a two count. Steen boot scrapes Stylish and stomps the man’s head. Steen kicks back against the side of the head and bounces off of the ropes. A huge elbow drop driven down across the chest. He gets a two count.
The former four time NAWA World Champion rises to a kneeling position. Steen slaps Stylish across the face twice. Stylish fights back from his knees. He looks like a pitbull, chopping him against the chest. Stylish connects with a spinning headscissors. Steen comes up to his feet and Stylish nails him with a huge forearm smash. He grabs Steen and springboards to the top rope. Steen hangs on and Stylish drops down to the apron. Spear off the ring apron sends Stylish flying backwards and crashing into the guardrail.
Steen leaves the ring and beats on Stylish. Forearm smashes drilled down to the back, and Steen waistlocks Stylish. Back first into the ring apron punishes him. Steen cracks the back against the ring apron and rolls Stylish back into the ring. Stylish goes up to one knee and Steen launches himself into the ring with a springboard shoulderblock. Steen knocks Stylish down to the canvas. He makes the cover hooking the leg and gets a two and a half count. S
Kicks to the chest further punishes Stylish. Steen throws Stylish off into the ropes. Launched up for the pop up power bomb is countered with a Frankensteiner! Steen flips over onto the canvas and Stylish comes back at him with multiple forearm smashes down across the chest. Stylish throws Steen halfway across the ring and nails him with a huge running kneelift across the chest. Steen is doubled over in the corner and Stylish delivers a series of ten count punches. Steen counters by launching Stylish to the ring apron.
Forearm smashes come back off and he delivers a springboard knee smash to take his opponent down to the canvas. Stylish raises a hand up into the air and kicks his adversary in the chest. He hooks Steen and brings him down with a swinging vertical suplex. Stylish floats over to make a cover hooking the leg and gets a two count. Stylish pounds away at Steen with more forearm smashes to the top of the head. Steen fights back from his knees until Stylish nails him with a kick. Running knee strike is connected. Stylish covers Steen hooking the leg and another two count.
Stylish heads to the outside. Steen catches him with a punch to the face. Steen climbs up to the top rope with Stylish. Stylish elbows away at Steen on the top rope. Both men are positioned. Steen hangs onto the top rope to cause Stylish to flip off of the top rope. Steen hits a huge frog splash to Stylish. Flattened, the four time former NAWA World Champion and Steen covers him hooking the leg and gets a two and nine tenths count.
Steen steps back and goes for a superkick. Superkick is dodged, and Stylish hoists up Steen. Las Vegas Trauma is countered when Steen drops down off the shoulders. Kick drilled into the midsection and Steen tries to Package Piledrive Stylish. Stylish backs Steen into the corner. Uppercut cracks Steen directly in the chin, and rushes into the corner. Steen drops down. Stylish runs up the ropes and goes for a moonsault to the standing Steen. Steen catches Stylish in mid-move and turns around. Powerslam drops Stylish down onto the canvas. Steen steps away and climbs to the top rope facing the crowd. Steen pumps his hands in the air and goes for a moonsault. Stylish rolls out of the way and Steen wipes himself out on the canvas.
Both men are down and Stylish pulls himself up. He bounces off of the ropes. Steen pops up and nails Stylish with the Pop Up Power Bomb! Both men are down on the canvas. Another ten count is put on them, and Steen rolls on top of Stylish. Cover made and Stylish drapes the foot on the bottom rope.
Steen stomps away on Stylish’s chest. He delivers a huge crushing senton and heads to the top rope one more time. He’s going for something, maybe a frog splash, maybe a springboard of some sort. Stylish is up to his feet and he runs up the ropes. Slugfest hits intensity on the top rope with Steen waffling Stylish with a huge headbutt to the chest. He hoists up Stylish and brings him down with a Death Valley Driver off of the top rope. Steen covers Stylish hooking the leg and scores the pin. Kevin Steen pinned Miles Stylish in 15:55(****)
For the second Pay Per View in a row, Kevin Steen pinned Miles Stylish cleanly in the center of the ring. Steen advances forward into the tournament and our first semifinal match is set in stone. Kevin Steen meets AJ Styles in the Semifinals of the 2011 Gold Rush Tournament.
The next match features Kurt Angle against Austin Aries. The winner takes on Samoa Joe. Angle uses his wrestling brilliance to dazzle Aries and takes him down to the canvas. Angle catches Aries with multiple forearm smashes down across the head. Aries yells that Angle cheap shotted him, and Angle responds by hitting a headbutt. He throws Aries off into the ropes. The head is ducked and catches him with a kneelift to the chest. Angle applies a front facelock and wrestles Aries down to the canvas.
Aries makes it to the ropes and charges Angle. Hiptoss brings Aries down to the canvas. Angle stomps the side of the head of Aries and rolls him over. Multiple jabs sent to the side of the head of Aries and Aries is launched into the corner hard. Angle hooks Aries. Aries counters with an elbow smash to the side of the head. Another elbow smash clipped Angle and Aries throws him into the ropes. Leapfrog over a charging Kurt Angle. Angle bounces off of the ropes and Aries catches him with a swinging neckbreaker. The announcers remind us of the neck problems Angle has underwent, including winning an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken neck. Angle’s neck is assaulted by Aries. The pitbull works over the side of Angle’s neck.
Up on his knees is Angle and Aries kicks him, before hitting a DDT to drop Angle down onto the canvas. The NAWA International Champion looks to advance in the tournament and only gets a two count. Aries raises a hand up and punches Angle hard in the throat. Angle is doubled over and Aries rattles him with a huge uppercut to the side of the head. Multiple uppercuts punches Angle and Aries hoists up Angle and drops him with a stun gun. Angle’s neck snaps back and Aries covers him for another two count.
Aries backs up on Angle and stomps away at him. He drops down and applies a cravate. The continued work on the previously broken neck of Kurt Angle could swing this match into the favor of Aries. Angle fights out of the move, and collapses on the canvas. Aries drops down and front facelock to Angle. Aries sets up Angle and another swinging neckbreaker. Aries rolls Angle over and drags him to the ropes. The NAWA International Champion drapes Angle neck first over the bottom rope. Vicious guillotine style drop over the bottom rope snaps Angle back. Aries applies a modified straight jacket camel clutch really punishing the neck of the former NAWA World Champion. The fans are trying to get behind Angle.
The former NAWA International Champion punishes his adversary. Angle fights out of the hold. A second wind delivered by Angle when he throws Aries back and catches him with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Both men down on the canvas cause a standing ten count to be delivered. Aries is up to his feet and he kicks Angle. He goes for the brain buster. Angle fights out of the hold and waistlocks Aries. German Suplex delivered flips Aries over onto his back. The second time in this match has showed the damage which has been done on Angle’s neck. The fans are cheering for Angle.
Angle and Aries both climb to their feet. Knuckles to the eyes and Angle is sent back into the corner. Aries hits a series of chops in the corner and climbs to the second rope. Tornado DDT is blocked when Angle hangs onto the ropes. Angle goes for a clothesline and Aries ducks it. German Suplex from Aries sends Angle down to the canvas. Aries hangs on and hits a second German Suplex to add insult to injury. Aries hangs on, but Angle hangs onto the top rope. Low blow to Aries, and Angle goes for the Angle Slam. Aries drops down and delivers a basement dropkick to Angle’s knee.
Aries sets up Angle for the brain buster. Again, Angle fights what might be a death blow to his neck. He slips down the back. Angle Slam is countered once more by Aries. Aries and Angle trade punches, with Angle headbutting Aries back into the ropes. Overhead belly to belly suplex, and now Angle pulls the straps down. He goes for the Ankle Lock. Aries fights up and enzuigiri to Angle. Angle drops down to the canvas, and Aries sets up Angle. Running dropkick is caught and the Ankle Lock is applied!
We see Angle attaching himself to the ankle of Aries like a dog after it’s favorite bone. Aries struggles and just manages to make it to the ropes in time! Angle releases the ankle and Aries pulls himself up his knees. Angle catches him with a La Magistral Cradle and pins him. Kurt Angle advances into the Gold Rush Tournament against Austin Aries in 13:45(*** ¼)
Aries jumps Angle after the match and beats him senseless. Brain buster connects, just a little bit too late. Aries adds more of a horrific beating with a 450 Splash down across Angle’s chest. Angle is being left laying in the ring by Austin Aries who yells that Angle got lucky.
Next up, the Barrio Rules Match, Texas Tornado, come as you are, bring what you want. Chris Sabin is attacked before the match and beaten down by LAX on the ramp. Shelley jumps off the ring apron with a running clothesline to take Hernandez down. He stomps on Hernandez and throws Homicide into the ring. Shelley throws himself into the ring and catches him with a series of chops to the chest. Homicide slumps against the corner and Shelley pounds away at him. Ten count punches until Hernandez pulls him out of the corner.
Hernandez punishes Shelley an throws him into the ropes. A huge clothesline cuts down Shelley, and puts him down on the canvas. Hernandez stomps the ever living hell out of Alex Shelley and pulls him up to a standing position. A very vicious side suplex sends Shelley crashing down to the canvas. Hernandez makes the cover hooking the leg and gets a two count when Shelley just barely pops the shoulder up.
Shelley rolls over onto his hands and knees, with Hernandez pummeling away at him. Hernandez throws Shelley off into the corner hard and comes in with a vicious clothesline. Homicide is brought in, with multiple forearm smashes. A huge lariat sends Shelley down to the canvas. Hernandez heads to the top rope. Sabin is back up and he grabs the leg of Hernandez. Hernandez fights off Sabin. Homicide picks up Shelley, and Shelley goes to the eyes, before hitting a huge leg lariat to drop his opponent down to the canvas. A mild pop is delivered from the fans for that part of the assault. Shelley pulls himself up off of the canvas and dropkicks Hernandez, sending him off of the ring apron.
A somersault plancha over the ropes is caught by Hernandez. Shelley is up and Sabin is on the ring apron. Running dropkick knocks Hernandez over and causes the big man to fall down. Sabin springboards back to the top rope and missile dropkick connects to Homicide. The cover is made hooking the leg and there’s only a two count when Homicide kicks out. Sabin winds up and multiple elbow strikes to the back of the head. He goes for a kick. The kick is caught, and Sabin comes back up with a step over spinning heel kick to knock his opponent down on the canvas. Cover is made hooking the leg with only a two count made.
Hernandez returns to the ring with a chain and he waffles Shelley from behind with it. Hernandez wraps the chain around Shelley’s throat and dangled him over the top rope. Sabin breaks it up with a running dropkick. Homicide has a blackjack and swings it. Shelley ducks it and hooks Homicide around the head. Sliced Bread #2 brings him down to the canvas. The cover is made hooking the leg for a two and nine tenths count when Homicide kicked out.
Shelley waits on Hernandez back up and he wraps the chain around his fist, feeding him with more punches. Hernandez slumps over the ropes and a huge leaping punch to the head of Hernandez to knock him down to the arena floor. Sabin is back up and Cradle Shock delivered to Homicide. Shelley is up and a huge leaping elbow drop off of the top rope. The cover is made hooking the leg and the pin is scored. The Motor City Machine Guns defeated LAX in 8:45(***)
After the match, the Guns lay out Hernandez with the Skull and Bones. The Guns have won and Shelley gets on the microphone, asking Roode and Storm if they are watching because they have just won free tickets to the Gun show. They want the NAWA World Tag Team Titles back.
Next up, Teddy Hart challenges Prince DeVitt for the NAWA World Title. Devitt comes out decked in the facepaint. Teddy rolls to the floor, and takes a deep breath, and then Devitt goes to chase him around the ring. Hart catches Devitt coming in with a dropkick. Hart yells he trained in the Dungeon, he’s not afraid of Demons, when he stomps away at Devitt. Devitt rises up to his feet. It’s almost like he becomes an entirely different person when he puts that body paint on.
Hart goes for a kick. Devitt blocks it and Hart misses an enzugiri. A series of stomps drilled to the back of the head and Devitt hurls Hart into the corner. Repeated forearm smashes stun Hart in the corner. Hart is slumped over the ropes and Devitt throws him all the way across the ring. Running kneelift connects and Devitt bounces off of the ropes. Another leaping dropkick brings Hart down to the canvas.
The fans are chanting for Devitt. Hart is on his hands and knees, and he grabs Devitt before launching him to the floor. HART DOES A NO HANDS MOONSAULT OVER THE TOP ROPE TO WIPE OUT DEVITT! The fans are losing their minds, despite Hart’s arrogance. Hart yells he’s the star of this show and he kicks Devitt in the side of the head, before rolling him back into the ring. Hart scrambles to the top rope and hits a somersault into a vicious rana spiking Hart down to the canvas. Hart covers Devitt hooking the leg and gets a two count.
Hart waits for Devitt and slaps him hard across the face. Another series of slaps and Devitt fights back from his feet. Hart catches Devitt with a punch to the stomach and hits a Russian Legsweep. Hart connects with a running corkscrew elbow drop and hooks the leg for a two count. Hart climbs to the top rope and leapfrogs over Devitt. Hart connects with a spinning leg lariat when he comes off the ropes. He follows that through with a standing shooting star press. Hart poses and he covers for a two count.
Those moments of hesitation might have cost Hart the championship. Hart brings down huge forearm smashes down across the back of the head of Devitt, hitting a huge headbutt down across the back of the head. He kicks Devitt in the chest, and throws him into the corner hard. Hart grabs him and German Suplex sends him crashing down to the canvas. Floatover for the cover, and Hart gets a very close nearfall one more time.
Hart demands to know why Devitt won’t stay down. At this point, it’s a very fair question. Hart works over Devitt and puts him on the top rope. He goes for a superplex and Devitt blocks it, shoving Hart off of the ropes. Flying Double Foot Stomp connects to Hart. The cover is made and Hart just kicks out at two and a half.
The Cruiserweight Champion nails Hart in the stomach with a kneelift. Another series of kneelifts to the stomach backs Hart up into the corner. DeVitt charges into the corner and nails Hart with the full force of a knee smash to the side of the head. Hart backs off and DeVitt sets him up. Bloody Sunday is blocked, just barely, and Hart counters with a brain buster of his own! Instead of going for the cover,Hart goes to the top rope.
The grand standing from the challenger might cost him. Hart jumps off and Shooting Star Press! DeVitt rolls out of the way and Hart lands on his feet. He goes to kick DeVitt. Devitt catches the leg and Hart follows through with an enzuigiri. Devitt ducks and hooks Hart. This time the Bloody Sunday connects. Three slaps of the mat later retains the championship. Prince Devitt pinned Teddy Hart to retain the NAWA Cruiserweight Title in 9:55(*** ½)
Had it not been for that one high risk move on the part of Teddy Hart, things might have been a bit differently. Tonight, the Bloody Sunday wins the day, and Devitt retains the Cruiserweight Championship.
The first Semifinal Match of the Gold Rush Tournament takes place with Kevin Steen against AJ Styles. Steen uses his weight advance to bully Styles into the corner. He goes for a forearm smash. Styles ducks and Steen smashes his arm against the corner. Styles repeatedly chops away at Steen and hooks him around the head. Takedown and Styles holds onto Steen. Steen powers out and gets to his feet. He shoulderblocks Styles down. Steen stands on Styles and pulls him up. He hoists up Styles. Styles counters by elbowing away at Steen. A huge forearm smash down across the back of the head stunning Kevin Steen.
Steen staggers half of an inch away and Styles drop toe holds Steen and drops the elbow down onto the back of Steen’s head. He makes it two elbow strikes, and three elbow strikes. Steen pulls himself to his knees and catches a series of elbow strikes down across the back of the head. He headbutts Styles in the stomach and takes him down with a short arm clothesline. Steen drops his full weight onto the chest of Styles with a senton. Styles pulls himself up into the corner and eats a huge cannonball to the chest. He slumps in the corner and Steen beats him down. He launches Styles halfway across the ring and brings him down with a huge sidewalk slam. Steen covers Styles hooking the leg and gets a two count.
The NAWA Television Champion suffered a horrific move. Steen bends down and forearms him in the face. More forearms catch Styles across the face. Steen picks up Styles by the back of the head and gutwrench suplex brings Styles down. Steen hangs on and a second gutwrench suplex. He hangs on a third time and turns Styles into a gutbuster. Steen backs up and double sledge behind Styles. The rough and tumble prize fighter punches away at the back of the head of AJ Styles.
Styles is on his hands and knees. A huge kick to the chest stuns Styles. Another series of kicks stuns Styles, and Steen grabs his opponent around the head. He holds up Styles and hits a huge vertical suplex. Styles rolls over and Steen applies a chinlock. He is really putting the pressure on the neck of Styles. Styles is going to have to find a way to fight out of this one and very soon, if he wants to last this match.
The fans are getting behind Styles. Steen releases the hold and drops three elbows in succession. Steen delivers a running boot scrape to the face of Styles. Steen kicks Styles in the face. Styles is staggering to his feet, and Steen nails him with a massive knee strike to the chest. Steen covers Styles hooking the leg and gets another nearfall.
Steen waffles Styles down across the back with more forearm smashes than necessary. He waits for Styles to get up to his feet. Steen nails him with a huge forearm smash down across the side of the head. Steen double underhooks Styles and brings him down with a massive power bomb. The Television Champion crumples to the canvas and Steen covers him hooking the leg to get a two count.
The fans are chanting for Styles. Steen beats on Styles some more, beating him like a rented mule. Steen winds back and chops Styles hard in the chest. The sound of hand smacking flesh ricochets throughout the arena. The downed form of Styles downs into the corner and Steen grabs him by the head, talking trash at his opponent. One huge punch waffles his opponent hard.
Steen backs up and goes for Styles. Styles gets a boot up into the chin. Steen goes to deck Styles. Styles comes off the ropes out of the corner. Pele Kick is caught in mid move, and Steen turns him around, with a huge powerslam! The fans are in shock that Steen saw the Pele Kick coming. He covers Styles hooking the leg and gets a two count. Steen heads to the outside. High risk move on the way. Styles is up. Steen dives off of the top like a missile and STYLES CATCHES HIM WITH A DDT COMING OFF THE TOP ROPE!
The fans explode into cheers. Steen has been spiked and Styles is down. The referee puts the count on AJ Styles. Styles crawls up to one knee and collapses back down. The fans are losing their minds with both men down on the canvas. Both men trade punches with each other. Styles nails Steen with a Discus Clothesline to bring him down.
The referee is putting the count on both of them. Styles pulls himself back up into the corner. Steen is up to his feet and Styles comes fighting out of the corner with rapid fire forearm smashes. He leapfrogs over Steen when he comes off of the ropes. Styles launches himself up into the air very high and dropkicks Steen. Styles heads to the outside. High risk move on the way. Springboard forearm smash is avoided. Steen goes for a superkick. Styles dodges that and Pele Kicks Steen down! Styles collapses on top for a cover and gets a two and a half count.
After missing it twice before in this match, the Pele Kick connects. Styles bounces off of the ropes. Steen catches him with the Pop Up Power Bomb, no Styles rolls down the backside. Sunset flip brings Steen down to the canvas for a nearfall. Steen bounces back off of the ropes. Clothesline is ducked and Styles comes back with an Asai moonsault into an Inverted DDT. Styles covers Steen hooking the leg and gets a two count.
Stomps made and the NAWA Television Champion heads to the outside. One more time, Styles springboards off of the ropes. Steen side steps out of the way and pushes Styles off of the ropes. Huge side slam brings AJ Styles down to the canvas. Steen has Styles flattened on the canvas like a pancake. He covers Styles hooking the leg and gets a two count on his opponent. Steen pulls up Styles and headbutts him. Another couple of headbutts waffle him, with Steen throwing him into the corner. Steen slaps Styles and puts him on the top rope.
The former NAWA Television, International, and Tag Team Champion is looking to add the Gold Rush Tournament and a potential NAWA World Championship to his resume. Styles fights him off, and has Steen set up. STYLES CLASH OFF OF THE SECOND ROPE DRILLS STEEN! Steen’s weight connecting to the canvas might have knocked him completely out. Styles pulls Steen off of the canvas, rolls him over, and holds him down long enough to score the pin! AJ Styles pinned Kevin Steen with a Second-Rope Styles Clash in 17:55(****)
Styles advances into the next match where he will meet the winner of Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe. AJ Styles has beaten Steen and he has only one more match.
Kurt Angle is beaten and battered, and many would question his sanity stepping into the ring against a human wrecking machine like Samoa Joe. Angle shows how durable he is, stepping into the ring against Joe tonight. He suffered that most match beating. He avoids Joe’s early assault and starts kicking away at the side of the leg. Angle is trying to set up Joe for an early defeat. Angle nails Joe with a forearm smash. Joe goes back into the corner and the referee puts the ten count on them.
Joe comes out of a corner with a clothesline. This is the brutality of Samoa Joe on point. He brutalizes Angle with numerous attacks. Those stiff forearms rain down onto the back of the neck of Angle. Angle tries to push himself to his feet. Joe winds up and forearms Angle back down. Huge kneedrop punishes Angle. Joe rolls him over and stomps the back of his head.
The fans are getting on Joe’s case. Joe slams Angle back first into the corner and rocks him with multiple forearm smashes to the side of the head. Angle is launched halfway across the ring by Joe. Joe follows him with a huge running kneelift to the chest which doubles Angle over in the corner. Joe winds up and rattles Angle with multiple chops to the chest.
The fans are trying to rally behind Angle. Angle fights out of the corner, until Joe ends his offense with a brutal knee to the midsection. Joe delivers a huge belly to back suplex with a vicious snap bringing Angle down onto his head. Angle rolls over onto the ground and Joe beats on Angle’s neck. He hoists Angle up and holds him up with a huge vertical suplex, dropping Angle down onto the canvas. Angle hits the canvas hard with a violent whiplash effect. Joe waits for Angle to get up to his hands and knees and assaults him viciously with punches and kicks to the side of the head.
Joe sets up Angle for the Clutch. Angle fights back. He will not go down to Samoa Joe. He takes down Joe with a head an arm takedown. Angle rolls Joe over, hooking the arm and slamming his elbow down onto Joe’s head. Angle is trying to get Joe into a triangle choke. Joe muscles up Angle and power bombs him against the mat. Angle’s head whiplashes back onto the canvas.
The Samoan Submission Machine winds up and hits a huge kick to the chest of Angle. More kicks to the chest punish Angle. Angle is trying to fight up to his feet. Every time he thinks he can fight, Joe holds him down with multiple elbow strikes down across the back of the head. Angle collapses down to the canvas, with Joe winding up and obliterating Angle with a huge kick to the side of the head. Another violent kick punishes Angle severely. A third violent kick and Joe finishes kicking Angle’s head in with a fourth kick, a spinning roundhouse to the head. Joe covers Angle and scores the pin. Samoa Joe pins Kurt Angle with multiple kicks to the head in 7:55(***)
Hand to Angle, he fought Joe as hard as he could. After the beating he suffered post match against Austin Aries, there was going to be no way that Joe was going to be Angle. And now, it’s been set in stone, one on one for the entire world to see, AJ Styles meets Samoa Joe in the finals of the 2011 Gold Rush Tournament, where the winner gets an NAWA World Title Shot on August 28th at WrestleClash X.
The next match featured the NAWA World Title on the line. The return match from two months ago at Reality Check, with the defending champion D’Angelo Dinero taking on Claudio Castagnoli. Both competitors lock up, and Castagnoli quickly goes behind Dinero. A huge hammerlock wrenches on the arm of Dinero. Dinero comes back with some elbow strikes. Both of these competitors are playing it more cool than the match they had last month. They lock it up one more time.
This time Castagnoli buries a knee into the stomach of Dinero. The NAWA World Champion finds himself launched back into the corner. Castagnoli winds up and drills his adversary with several punches to really show his power. Each punch connects to the side of Dinero’s head. Dinero flies halfway across the ring and Castagnoli comes back with a huge kneelift to the chest. Castagnoli lifts Dinero up to the top rope.
Climbing to the top rope, goes Castagnoli. Castagnoli hooks Dinero. Attempted superplex is blocked with Dinero punching Castagnoli in the stomach. Another couple of punches to the stomach knocks him off. Dinero dives off of the ropes. He’s caught in mid air and Castagnoli brings Dinero onto his shoulders. A huge snake eyes exhibits the power of the corner NAWA World Champion. Castagnoli bounces Dinero back off of the canvas with a big boot. He makes the cover hooking the leg and Dinero just brings the shoulder up at the count of two and a half.
Castagnoli bends down and pounds away at the back of Dinero’s head. Dinero swings a punch, which is avoided. Castagnoli comes back with a huge kneelift to the chest to stun his opponent. Another successful of kneelifts drill his adversary across the chest. Castagnoli pulls Dinero off the canvas by the hair and launches him as hard into the corner as humanly possible.
The fans cheer big time and Castagnoli buries multiple knee lifts down into the chest of his adversary. Castagnoli frames an elbow and nails Dinero directly in the face. Dinero slumps in the corner and Castagnoli hits a forearm smash. The forearm smash causes Dinero to return fire with jabs. Dinero grabs Castagnoli, but Castagnoli bounces him off of the ropes. Dropkick is caught. Castagnoli wants to go swinging. Dinero fights out of that move and then rolls up Castagnoli in a small package for a two count.
Castagnoli is on his feet and Dinero jabs away at him. Off into the ropes, and bodyscissors into a bulldog. Dinero covers Castagnoli hooking the leg and only gets a two count. Dinero pumps his fist into the air and goes for a back elbow smash. Castagnoli ducks the move. He does not duck the kick and then the facebuster bringing him down. Dinero climbs to the outside. He’s going to take a chance and springboard splash connects. He covers on Castagnoli hooking the leg. Two count when Castagnoli kicks out!
The champion will not be frustrated. Dinero drills his punches into the chest of Castagnoli. Every single punch rocks the challenger as hard as possible. Dinero throws Castagnoli into the ropes. Castagnoli catches him in the corner. Huge spinning fallaway slam sends the NAWA World Champion. Dinero is refusing to get up. He knows Swiss Death might be on the way if Castagnoli gets his hands on him. Castagnoli picks up Dinero by the hair and puts him on the shoulders. Airplane spin delivered, always a crowd pleasure. Castagnoli ends the spin with a Death Valley Driver! Dinero hits the canvas hard and Castagnoli covers him, only getting a two count.
Castagnoli waits for Dinero get back to his feet. Casatgnoli kneelifts Dinero in the stomach to double him over. He throws Dinero off into the ropes. Swiss Death is avoided when Dinero counters with a codebreaker out of mid-air! The win has been knocked out of the challenger, and Dinero waits for him to get up. He goes to ram him into the corner. DDE is avoided, and Castagnoli has Dinero up. ELEVATED POWER BOMB BRINGS HIM DOWN! The champion goes down hard. Castagnoli collapses down on Dinero making the cover and only getting a two count off of it.
The fans are chanting for Dinero. They want him to get the win tonight, but more than a fair few are behind Castagnoli. Castagnoli runs into the corner. European uppercut is avoided. Dinero tries to roll up Castagnoli. Castagnoli fires back with some stomps. He picks up Dinero and gutwrench suplex brings him down. Another succession of gutwrench suplexes. Castagnoli cracks his neck. He picks up Dinero and off into the ropes. Dinero hangs onto the ropes to avoid the launch into the Swiss Death. Castagnoli European Uppercuts Dinero to the floor anyway!
The referee puts the count on Dinero. Castagnoli exits the ring to bring the champion back into the ring. This ends on a countout, Dinero wins the match, but not the NAWA World Championship. Castagnoli rolls Dinero into the ring and covers him. Only a two and nine tenths count when Dinero kicks out!
Castagnoli waits on Dinero and kicks him hard in the chest. He delivers a modified spinning Angle Slam to Dinero putting him down to the canvas. He pulls Dinero up and forearm smashes rattle the champion. He is going to send him in. SWISS DEATH IS ON THE WAY, NO DINERO PUNCHES CASTAGNOLI IN MID-LAUNCH! Dinero punches away at the NAWA World Champion, avoiding Swiss Death and a sudden end to his second championship reign. Dinero bounces off and tornado DDT brings Castagnoli down. Dinero covers him hooking the leg and gets a two and nine tenths count.
The chants of DDE are coming in. Dinero dropkicks Castagnoli into the corner and follows through with the DDE. He covers Castagnoli hooking the leg and gets the pin to retain the championship! D’Angelo Dinero retained the NAWA World Title over Claudio Castagnoli in 16:55(****)
D’Angelo Dinero hangs onto the NAWA World Title tonight. He will be defending the NAWA World title going forward, and he may hold onto it, until WrestleClash X on August 28th where he will be facing the winner of this next match right here and right now.
The Gold Rush Tournament finals kick off between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. The announcers remind us how Styles has had two very tough matches earlier in the tournament. Joe had a bye through to the Semi-Finals and took very little damage against Kurt Angle. Styles is going to have to pull out a miracle tonight if he wants to challenge for the NAWA World Title.
Samoa Joe throws Styles back into the corner to set the tone for the early part of this match. Forearm smash is dodged. Styles dropkicks Joe in the back of the leg to stagger the former two-time NAWA World Champion. Two more dropkicks rattle Samoa Joe. Styles waffles him with repeated clotheslines and throws Joe into the corner. Styles comes through with a leaping clothesline in the corner. Styles catches Joe with a single-leg takedown and applies a spinning toe hold to Joe. Joe kicks Styles through the ropes and launces him to the ring apron.
Joe smashes his forearm down across the face of Styles. Repeated forearm smashes connect to the side of the head of AJ Styles. Joe brings Styles back into the ring. Styles flips back into the ring and lands on his feet. Kick to the ribs stuns Joe. Another series of kicks to the ribs punishes the former NAWA World Champion. Styles goes through with an elbow strike to the side of the head. He repeatedly nails Joe with everything he can muster behind those elbow strikes. Joe goes halfway across the ring and Styles catches him with a running knee to the head.
Styles has Joe set up in the corner. Joe dodges Styles in the corner. Springboard cross body block out of the corner. Oh no, Joe catches him. Joe launches Styles onto his shoulders. Samoan Drop delivered to AJ Styles. The NAWA Television Champion goes down in a heap. Joe puts his foot down onto the face of Styles. Boot scrape punishes the NAWA Television Champion. Styles could make himself tonight by winning the Gold Rush Tournament and challenging the NAWA World Champion in the main event of WrestleClash X.
Joe beats Styles senseless with punches in the corner. Styles tries to fight back. Joe kicks him in the ribs and takes him down. STF applied. AJ Styles suffered some much damage in those past two matches. Joe is just compounding the damage in the earlier matches Styles had with Daniels and Steen. The Television Champion hooks the bottom rope to force the break.
Five count breaks the hold. Joe motions for Styles to get to his feet. A headbutt rocks Styles. Styles slumps down on the ropes. Joe drags Styles into the center of the ring. A huge elbowdrop crushes the ribs of AJ Styles. Joe pulls himself up off of the canvas. He beats down Styles into the canvas. Styles tries to pull himself to a standing position. Joe hammers the back of the head of his adversary, and pulls him back up one more time. Joe rattles Styles with a huge forearm smash. Another forearm smashes knocks Styles into the corner. A third forearm smash and Styles is slumped into the ropes.
The fans are chanting for Styles. Joe yells at the fans to shut up and throws Styles down to the canvas. He sets up Styles. A huge power bomb brings Styles down onto the canvas. He is flattened on the canvas. Joe makes the cover on Styles hooking the leg and gets a two count when Styles just barely brings his shoulder up off of the canvas. Joe picks up Styles one more time and takes him down with a snap belly-to-back suplex. Joe heads to the outside. He dives off of the ropes with a huge elbow drop.
Styles rolls out of the way, and Joe wipes himself on the canvas. This could be the opening AJ Styles needs to get the win. He is now on his feet and he ducks Joe’s elbow strike. Styles comes back off of the ropes with a huge dropkick. Joe goes down to the canvas. He gets back up, and Styles rushes Joe. He springboards off of Joe’s chest and comes back down onto him with a huge dropkick. The NAWA Television Champion is ready to strike. He kicks Joe in the knee when he gets up and goes off. Discus Clothesline is avoided and Joe has Styles in the Rear Naked Choke. Styles fights out, backs Joe into the corner. PELE KICK SENDS JOE THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE ARENA FLOOR!
The fans are cheering. Styles doesn’t want to win the Gold Rush Tournament finals by a countout and neither do we. Styles baseball slides Joe into the guardrail and throws him into the ring. Joe is down and Styles springboards to the top rope. 450 Splash connects to Joe. The fans are on their feet and Styles covers Joe hooking the leg. Two and nine tenths count when Joe kicks out!
Styles is not to be denied. He front facelocks Joe and hammers away at him. Styles steps back off of the ropes and a huge discus Clothesline rocks Joe. Styles springboards to the top rope and Asai Moonsault Into An Inverted DDT! He covers Joe hooking the leg. Joe kicks out once again. Styles gets on his hands and knees. Frustration builds in AJ Styles. Styles heads to the outside again. Springboard forearm smash, no Joe moves out of the way. REAR NAKED CHOKE APPLIED TO AJ STYLES!
This time, Joe has that move slapped on. He built a nearly two year undefeated streak around that move. He built a one year NAWA World Title reign around that move. And that’s the move that could spell the end for AJ Styles. No, Styles is fighting. He runs up the ropes and springboards into a bridge. Two and nine tenths count before Joe turns back around, slapping the Clutch on Styles!
The pitbull has his bone and he will not let go. Joe yells he’s going to choke Styles out. The fans are getting behind Styles. Styles fights out of the hold. He can do this. He gets up and breaks the hold with a jawbreaker. PELE KICK CONNECTS TO JOE! He drops Joe, and Styles follows that up with a La Magistral Cradle. Two and a half count when Joe kicks out!
Joe and Styles are trading chops. Joe sends Styles over the ropes with a huge headbutt. Styles hangs onto the top rope. Joe moves over. Styles snaps the neck of Joe across the ropes with a guillotine. Styles springboards himself to the middle of the top rope and Oklahoma Side Roll into the ring. Two and a half count when Joe kicks out of the move.
Styles leaps on Joe’s shoulders. Joe catches him and bounces him off of the ropes. SLING SHOT POWER BOMB BRINGS STYLES DOWN TO THE CANVAS! Joe is not satisfied with that. He really wants to make the NAWA Television Champion suffer. Joe puts Styles on the top rope. Muscle Buster is prime. No, Joe is heading to the top rope. He’s going to Muscle Buster AJ Styles with both men on the top rope. This will end the end of AJ Styles. Styles is fighting off of the ropes though. He kicks Joe off of the ropes. Styles adjusts his footing and SPIRAL TAP CONNECTS!
Styles has not pulled that move out of the bag in years. He favors his knee, showing why that move is dangerous to do. He drags himself over Joe and only gets a two count!
Too much time wasted, had Styles covered right off of the Spiral Tap, he might have had it. His knee got fucked up in the process though. He grabs Joe and goes for the Styles Clash. He can’t get Joe up due to the bum wheel. Styles tries to sunset flip Joe. Joe counters by elbow striking him in the face repeatedly. Joe pulls Styles off into his feet and hurls him into the corner. Joe Yakuza Kicks the hell out of Styles. Styles might have a boot imprint from Joe grafted onto his face. Joe pulls Styles into the ring and applies the Rear Naked Choke, adding a heel hook to the injured leg for added pain.
The fans are trying to rally behind Styles. Joe has him in dead center, almost smothering him into the mat. There’s nowhere for Styles to go, so he has to tap out. Samoa Joe defeated AJ Styles in 22:22(**** ½)
Samoa Joe wins the 2011 Gold Rush Tournament. Joe rises to his feet. AJ Styles, you got to give him credit, he hung on for as long as he can. The Spiral Tap ended up spelling his doom, screwing up his knee so he could not deliver the Styles Clash properly on Joe. Joe will be facing the NAWA World Champion on August 28th at WrestleClash X.

NAWA Glory 5/19/2011:
Tonight, Mia Stylish calls out Mickie James. Plus, Austin Aries and Matt Hardy take on Kurt Angle and the NAWA International Champion Tony Mamaluke.
We open up with Samoa Joe. Joe cuts a promo, reminding us how Season Ten started with Joe beating D’Angelo Dinero to win the NAWA World Title. History has a nasty way of repeating itself and it will happen again. Joe is going to rush Dinero in the main event at WrestleClash X on August 28th, providing of course Dinero makes it that far.
Kevin Steen and Chris Hero had a pretty good, high impact match with each other. The elbow strikes of Hero brought Steen to his elbows. Steen catches Hero and takes him down with the Package Piledriver in 13:22(*** ½)
Steen cuts a promo, talking about how he’s beaten Miles Stylish twice and he has nothing left to prove against him. Stylish doesn’t have it anymore, he might as well pack it in. Stylish is not in the building tonight, so Steen is relally talking some trash against him.
We see AJ Styles talking about how close he was to winning the Gold Rush Tournament. Everyone has his day though. Mike Bennett interrupts calling Styles an inspiration. Oh no, not to him, but all of those people in the crowd. He’s come close, but fell far. Disappointment, they should all be used for. Bennett tells Styles to keep that warm for him and pats on the Television Title Belt.
The next match featured Prince Devitt taking on Brian Kendrick. Kendrick’s tag team partner, Paul London, interfered during this match. Devitt fought them off and hit Kendrick with a running dropkick, into a double underhook elevated DDT to score the pin in 11:33(****)
London goes to attack Devitt but gets dropkicked to the corner. London throws a fit on the floor drawing boos.
Austin Aries and Matt Hardy teamed up to take on Tony Mamaluke and Kurt Angle. Mamaluke is caught with a brain buster and pinned by Aries in 14:03(*** ½)
Aries gets on the microphone and tells Mamaluke that next week, the party’s over for him. He’s invoking his return match clause and taking back the NAWA International Title.
Two former NAWA World Champions collide in the main event with Teddy Hart against Claudio Castagnoli. Castagnoli and Hart go back and forth in the battle with each other. The pendulum swings many times during this match. The battle ends with Castagnoli putting Hart away with the Swiss Death after Hart dove off of the top rope into Castagnoli’s clutches in 15:42(*** ¼)
Harry Harris comes out. He yells one more time, Night of the Rogues. Castagnoli accepts the challenge. It looks like Harris wants a shot to avenge his two losses to Castagnoli and Castagnoli has accepted for June 26th only on Pay Per view.
Mia Stylish calls out Mickie James and says her seven days are up. It’s time to forfeit the championship. Out comes Mickie, head still bandaged for the beating a couple of weeks ago. She puts over Mia as a dangerous, dangerous competitor in that ring. Top ten female competitors of all time, if Mickie was honest, no, top five, no she may be one of the best of all time. However, she started something that they’re going to finish.
Mickie says this company simply isn’t big enough for the two of them. Something has to give and Mickie wants one more match against Mia Stylish. June 26th at Night of the Rogues. She just doesn’t want any match, she wants a Texas Death Match! There will be one winner, and one loser, and the woman who walks out will be the better competitor.
Mia laughs, saying Mickie has punched her own death warrant. NAWA Women’s Title, Texas Death Match, June 26th at Night of the Rogues. Amanda Sinclair comes out to make the match official. And she also says Mickie James and Mia Stylish will be your main event, because the first time the NAWA Women’s Title being on the line in a Texas Death Match deserves no less! There will be a winner.

NAWA Glory 5/26/2011:
Tonight, we’re going to have new number one contenders for the NAWA World Tag Team Titles. Plus, more matches announced for Night of the Rogues, and Austin Aries takes on Tony Mamaluke in the main event in a return match from last month for the NAWA International Title.
Mike Bennett and El Generico have a very intense battle in the opening match. Bennett continues his winning ways, finishing off generic with the Box Office Smash in 11:22(*** ¾)
Bennett pounds away at Generico. AJ Styles rushes out to make the save and send Bennett packing with a couple of dropkicks. He dives over the top rope onto Bennett with a springboard cross body block to gain cheers from the fans. Styles hammers away at Bennett and sends him scrambling away from the ring.
Mia Stylish destroys Leva Bates in the next match. She traps Bates in a Kimura Lock and submits her in 6:27(** ½)
Stylish beats on Bates again and talks about how she’s going to be very brutal and unforgiving against Mickie James come the Texas Death Match which will headline Night of the Rogues.
Speaking of Night of the Rogues, Amanda Sinclair has a huge announcement. Miles Stylish and D’Angelo Dinero will join forces to take on Kevin Steen and Samoa Joe in a huge tag team match. She also announces that at WrestleClash X, Kevin Steen will be taking on Miles Stylish in the Race to the Top Ladder Match. Normally this match has six competitors, but this year, it will only have two. The winner will receive an NAWA World Title Shot during the next calendar year.
Kevin Steen locked horns with the debuting Willie Mack tonight. Mack showed his toughness, but Steen catches him and hits him with the Pop-Up Power Bomb in 9:44(*** ¼)
After the bout, Steen talks about how he’s gunning for the NAWA World Title. He talks about how he will destroy Stylish, leave his body broken, and climb the ladder at WrestleClash X, to get his golden ticket for an NAWA World Title Shot.
The Motor City Machine Guns earned the number one contendership for the NAWA World Tag Team Title defeating the Briscoe Brothers and the All Night Express. Rhett Titus got hit with the Sliced Bread #2 from Shelley and pinned in 12:01(*** ¾)
The Guns and Beer Money lock up one more time for the NAWA World Tag Team Titles at Night of the Rogues.
Main event time featuring Austin Aries taking on Tony Mamaluke for the NAWA International Title. Aries beats Mamaluke viciously during this match. Mamaluke gives Aries some anxious moments, but he is caught up top and brought down with a DDT! Aries spikes Mamaluke and pins him in 12:25(***)
Aries picks up the win and holds up the NAWA International Title in a token of victory.

NAWA Glory 6/2/2011:
Tonight, Miles Stylish and D’Angelo Dinero team up for the very first time to take on LAX. Plus, a return match for the NAWA International Title featuring Austin Aries against Tony Mamaluke kicks off tonight’s episode of NAWA Glory. Don’t you dare miss it.
Austin Aries and Tony Mamaluke stepped up in the rubber match for the NAWA International Title. For the second week in a row, Mamaluke gave Aries some very anxious moments, but they were very fleeting. Aries hits Mamaluke with the brain buster and pins him in 11:44(*** ¼)
The match ends with a beatdown from Aries on Mamaluke. Kurt Angle rushes out and runs off Aries. Angle stares down Aries and puts down to the NAWA International Championship belt.
A recap of the events leading up to the NAWA Women’s Championship match between Mickie James and Mia Stylish on June 26th at Night of the Rogues is shown. This match will be a Texas Death Match, and it will headline the show. Mickie and Mia give comments about how they’re going to show how much they want this, how they are going to rule women’s wrestling.
Mickie James pinned Sara Del Rey in a pretty rough and tumble match. Mickie survives the Royal Butterfly and hits the Mickie-DDT for the pin in 10:44(***)
The Motor City Machine Guns run into their NAWA World Tag Team Title match at Night of the Rogues with a big win over Jack Evans and Teddy Hart. They finish off Evans with the Skull and Bones in 10:04 after sending Hart to the floor. (*** ¾)
Beer Money Incorporated come out and talk some trash at the Guns. Six months ago they beat the Guns, and now the Guns want another shot. Roode puts over him and Storm as the best tag team in wrestling today.
Paul London batters TJ Perkins in this next match. Perkins gains some close nearfalls until London hangs him up over the top rope. 450 Splash connects to Perkins and scores the pin in 8:19. (****)
London cuts a promo, challenging The NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Prince Devitt to a match. London will finish off Devitt and regain the title he lost a year ago.
AJ Styles retained the NAWA Television Title against Matt Hardy in a pretty intense match. Hardy missed a leg drop off of the second rope and Styles connects with a Springboard 450 Splash to hold his enemy down for the pin in 12:11. (*** ¼)
Out comes Mike Bennett to jump Styles and beat him down to the canvas. Box Office Smash connects to Styles. Bennett holds up the NAWA Television Championship, standing over Styles like a conquering hero.
The main event featured Miles Stylish and D’Angelo Dinero taking on LAX. Dinero suffered a beating by Homicide and Hernandez until the hot tag is made. Dinero gains a second wind and wipes out Homicide which leads to Stylish hitting the Las Vegas Trauma on Hernandez for the pin in 11:41(****)
Dinero and Stylish will team up one more time at Night of the Rogues against Kevin Steen and Samoa Joe. And at WrestleClash X, Dinero defends the NAWA World Title against Samoa Joe and Steen faces off against Miles Stylish in a Race to the Top Ladder Match for an NAWA World Title Sht.

NAWA Glory 6/9/2011:
Tonight, Samoa Joe and Kevin Steen join forces to take on the Briscoe Brothers, leading to their huge tag team match at Night of the Rogues. We’re going to kick things off with Beer Money Incorporated taking on the All-Night Express.
Beer Money Incorporated scored the win over the All Night Express in their opening match tonight. They put down Rhett Titus with the DWI for the pin in 11:52. (*** ¼)
After the match, Roode discusses the fact that they are the best tag team in wrestling. The Motor City Machine Guns want another crack at Beer Money. That’s fine. They’re going to beat the Guns again. Sorry about your damn luck, and all of that.
We see a recap of Mickie James training. She enters not just another title defense, but the fight of her life against Mia Stylish on June 26th at Night of the Rogues. It will be a Texas Death Match for the NAWA Women’s Title.
Mike Bennett stepped into the ring with Jimmy Jacobs and beats him after a rather one sided match with the Box Office Smash to remain undefeated in 8:55(*)
Bennett cuts a promo discussing his match against AJ Styles. That Television Championship would look better around Bennett’s waist than around the waist of AJ Styles.
Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels had a match up next. Angle suffered a nasty fall which caused him to land on his wrist. Angle winces, but guts out through the match. He hits an overhead belly to belly suplex, and pins Daniels in 5:12(***)
Angle cuts a promo, in obvious pain, talking about how Austin Aries is nothing, but a coward. He cost Angle the Gold Rush Tournament by jumping him after the match. Now when Angle steps into the ring with Aries, it’s going to be the fight of the life for Austin Aries.
Paul London and Brian Kendrick teamed up against Prince DeVitt and TJ Perkins. London caught Perkins with the London Calling in 12:05 after Kendrick held off Devitt on the floor in 12:05(**** ¼)
London nails Devitt and hits him with a double chickenwing into a gutbuster. London stares down at Devitt and yells he’ll be getting his title back.
Next up is the main event, with the Briscoe Brothers taking on the team of Kevin Steen and Samoa Joe. Jay is beaten until the hot tag is made. Mark fights back and we have a wild brawl. Steen superkicks Mark into the rear naked choke from Joe which chokes him out in 14:44. (**** ¼)

NAWA Glory 6/16/2011:
Tonight, D’Angelo Dinero and Miles Stylish join forces to take on the team of Matt Hardy and Teddy Hart in the main event. Plus, AJ Styles will take on Ricochet for the NAWA Television Championship.
Mickie James stepped into the ring with Serena for a tune up match. Serena, making her return to the New Age Wrestling Alliance, took the fight to Mickie. Mickie fought back as hard as possible and kept Serena on the ropes until the Mickie-DDT connects, and she’s pinned in the center of the ring in 6:52(***)
Mia Stylish comes out and tells Mickie to enjoy the moment. When they compete in a Texas Death Match, Mia is going to leave Mickie laying in a poll of her own blood.
Paul London continued his momentum as of late with a win over Sonjay Dutt. A huge 450 Splash connects to Dutt and pins him in 7:50. (*** ½)
The announcers hype up the match between Paul London and Prince Devitt for the NAWA Cruiserweight Title.
Recap of Kurt Angle suffering a broken wrist last week. Angle has said that he will be at Night of the Rogues in ten days and he will be facing Austin Aries for the NAWA International Championship. Angle has fought through worse injuries, but this is still not advised.
AJ Styles and Ricochet had a very impressive match for the NAWA Television Title which was interrupted by Mike Bennett who pulls Styles to the floor and posts him for the disqualification in 10:57(*** ½)
Bennett beats down Styles and stands over him with the NAWA Television Championship belt.
Recap of the history between Beer Money Incorporated and the Motor City Machine Guns where they have traded the tag team titles back and forth a couple of times. They will be facing off at Night of the Rogues one more time.
The Motor City Machine Guns picked up the win over their rivals LAX when Shelley pinned Homicide with the Skull and Bones in 10:08. This was the usual LAX beating on the Guns until the hot tag is made. Hernandez is taken out and Homicide is double teamed for the pin in 10:08(** ¾)
We see Ricochet backstage, and Teddy Hart comes up. Hart says that Ricochet has fallen hard since Hart beat him. Ricochet says Hart lost twice to Prince Devitt including one time where he was utterly crushed. Hart says it was a set back and he can beat Ricochet. Both go back and forth and agree to a match at Night of the Rogues to settle this.
The next match featured D’Angelo Dinero and Miles Stylish picking up the win in the tag team main event against the duo of Matt Hardy and Teddy Hart. Hardy flies to the floor from Dinero and Stylish connects with the LVT on Hart in 13:50(****)
Samoa Joe and Kevin Steen come down the ramp to talk some trash to their opponents at Night of the Rogues. Stylish and Dinero invite them into the ring, but it’s a no go. We end Glory on this note.

NAWA Glory 6/23/2011:
Tonight, the New Age Wrestling Alliance returns for an episode of NAWA Glory. Our main event features Kevin Steen and Samoa Joe taking on the duo of Rob Van Dam and Ricochet in tag team action. You don’t want to miss tonight on Glory as we are three days away from Night of the Rogues on June 26th, the final Pay Per View before WrestleClash X on June 26th.
The opening match featured a battle between the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Prince DeVitt and Kid Kash. Devitt receives a rough beating by Kash who smashes him with a vicious series of stomps. Devitt returns fire and hits a double underhook DDT to score the pin in 8:03(*** ¼)
Paul London stands on the ramp and stares down Devitt. Both men go back and forth with Devitt inviting London into the ring. London declines. This Sunday, the NAWA Cruiserweight title will be on the line with Prince Devitt defending against Paul London.
An insane eight man tag team match is on tap next with The Kings of Wrestling and the Motor City Machine Guns defeating the quartet of Harry Harris, Mr. Anderson, and Beer Money Incorporated. Huge action one of the highlights being Castagnoli hitting all four members of the opposing team with Giant Swings. Harris bails and Castagnoli runs up the ramp. Storm is caught with the Skull and Bones and pinned in 14:33(*** ½)
The announcers hype up the big matches at Night of the Rogues with Harry Harris and Claudio Castganoli taking on each other in their third Pay Per View Match in 2011. Plus, the Motor City Machine Guns get one more crack at Beer Money Incorporated for the NAWA World Tag Team Titles.
Mike Bennett rolled over Zema Ion to remain unbeaten in singles competion. Ion missed a dive off the ropes which set him up for the Box Office Smash in 8:06(* ¾)
After the match, Bennett gets on the microphone to taunt AJ Styles. Styles comes down the ramp and the two opponents for this Sunday for the NAWA Television Title are going to square off until security comes to break them up.
Kurt Angle comes up talking about how his injuries are catching up with him. He suffered a broken wrist against Christopher Daniels which was not the worst injury he ever suffered, but it still made him incapable of driving himself back to the airport or working out. Austin Aries comes out and talks about how Angle’s broken body finally gave out from underneath him. All of those years of hard training, Aries has outlasted Kurt Angle. The Greatest Man That Ever Lived is just one step away from being that much better than Kurt Angle. This Sunday, Aries finishes off Angle. Angel tells Aries to bring it, but Aries tells Angle to get some rest. He’ll finish him off this Sunday.
Teddy Hart picks up the win over Tony Mamaluke, punishing him throughout this match. Sharpshooter is locked onto Mamaluke. Mamaluke struggles, but collapses and taps out. In 9:05(***)
Teddy Hart and Ricochet will be fighting one more time at Night of the Rogues. Hart brutalizes Mamaluke after the match to further send a message to his Night of the Rogues opponent.
Two huge matches are hyped up for August 28th at WrestleClash X. Samoa Joe challenges D’Angelo Dinero for the NAWA World Title and Kevin Steen meets Miles Stylish in a Ladder Match for a championship match. These two matches merge into one this Sunday Night of the Rogues. Kevin Steen and Samoa Joe take on D’Angelo Dinero and Miles Stylish. This will be one that the world is waiting for this Sunday on Pay Per View.
Main event time featuring Samoa Joe and Kevin Steen taking down the duo of Ricochet and Rob Van Dam in decesive fashion. Ricochet suffers a horrific beating. He hot tags to Rob Van Dam who runs wild. Van Dam is shoved off the ropes by Steen and is caught with a Yakuza Kick and hits the Muscle Buster for the pin in 12:08. (*** ¾)
Joe and Steen stand over their broken opponents. More hype is made for this Sunday at Night of the Rogues.
We close Glory with a recap between Mickie James and Mia Stylish. Both women want to be the best. Both women get the platform to be the best in a Texas Death Match for the NAWA Women’s Title. We see Stylish and Mickie training preparing for a brutal match. Glory fades off with a promise these two women are going to war and neither of them are going to be the same ever again. NAWA Night of the Rogues-6/26/2011: The New Age Wrestling Alliance returns to Pay Per View tonight with a huge set of matches headlined by the NAWA Women’s Championship being on the line for the very first time in a Texas Death Match. We should not waste any more time. Let’s head down to the ring for the first match, a battle for the NAWA Cruiserweight Championship. The former champion Paul London takes on Prince Devitt in tonight’s opening match.
Prince Devitt is decked out in his usual facepaint tonight when he steps into the ring with Paul London. Both men circle each other and they lock up with each other. Devitt twists around and applies a hammerlock to London. London is pushed down to the canvas on his knees. He fights out from his position with multiple elbow strikes to the side of the head. Devitt is pushed back with London throwing him into the ropes. He drops down and leapfrogs over London.
Devitt punches off of the ropes with a shoulder block which sends the challenger to the NAWA World Cruiserweight Champion flat on his back. London scrambles up to his knees. Devitt hits him with repeated chops to the chest which daze his adversary. Devitt throws London off into the corner. A running kneelift to the chest sets up a vicious snap mare. Devitt bounces off of the ropes and connects down onto the chest of London with a huge double stomp to the chest. London twitches underneath Devitt’s attack.
The challenger pulls himself to his feet while begging off. Devitt forearm smashes London down across the face with repeated attacks. He sends London off into the ropes. Devitt kicks London in the ribs to double over. He goes for a kick. London catches the foot. Attempted enzuigiri misses and London applies a heel hook to Devitt. London works over the ankle in an attempt to slow down the champion. Devitt is pushing out of the hold and just makes it to the bottom rope. The hold is broken at the count of four.
That four extra seconds working on Devitt’s foot might have been the added incentive London needed. London hammered down on the back of his opponent’s head and pulls him up to a standing position. Devitt is shoved back into the corner and rag-tagged by multiple forearm smashes to the face. London steps back and runs into the corner with a huge palm blow. He climbs to the second rope and punches away at Devitt. He drops down and delivers a kneelift to the chest to stun him in the corner.
Devitt falls down on the canvas. London hammers him with multiple shots to the side of the face. He hooks onto Devitt and rolls him into a headlock. Succession of punches drills the back of Devitt’s head. London picks up Devitt and drops him chest first onto the top rope. He hangs onto Devitt and brings him down with a huge vertical suplex. London floats over on Devitt to make the cover and he only gets a two and nine tenths count off of that one. London steps back and stomps the back of Devitt’s head in succession, before stepping back. Running standing shooting star press connects. London covers Devitt and hooks the leg for another very nearfall.
The challenger is getting very frustrated. He picks up Devitt and sets him up. A huge fisherman buster drops Devitt down on the canvas. Devitt is sprawled in the center of the ring. London heads to the top rope. 450 Splash is missed. London lands on his feet and dropkicks Devitt in the face. He springboards off of Devitt’s back and sends him crashing down onto the canvas with a vicious kneedrop. Devitt is covered and once again the champion kicks out.
London slaps Devitt across the face on multiple occasions before dragging him to a standing position. Devitt is caught with forearms down across the chest. London sends Devitt all the way across the ring. London does a springboard. Devitt moves out of the way and London hits the corner. Full nelson applied into a release Dragon Suplex to bring London down.
Both competitors are down on the canvas. London tries to pull himself back up to a standing position. Devitt beats him to his feet and punches away at London. Those blows get more violent with each successive strike and London is send hard into the corner. The huge running dropkick slumps London into the corner. He delivers another running dropkick to the corner and a third one. Devitt heads to the top rope. Springboard double foot stomp is avoided when London rolls out of the way.
London pops up and obliterates Devitt with a huge snapping knee strike to the side of the head. Devitt is down and London steps back, making a motion to the crowd. Devitt pulls himself to one knee and London kicks him hard. He goes for a brain buster. Devitt avoids it and drops down the back door. He kicks London in the knee and sets him up. Bloody Sunday connects! The champion floats over and pins London in 11:44(****)
Sometimes that’s all that it takes, one huge move and it’s over. The hopes of Paul London to enter his second reign as NAWA Cruiserweight Champion get dashed for this evening. Devitt steps away to leave the battered and broken form of Paul London down on the canvas, with a huge win tonight.
We head to a second championship match with the fighting NAWA Television Champion AJ Styles stepping into the ring with the very devious Mike Bennett. Bennett stalls Styles at the bell, knowing that a more even championship match will not be at his favor. He tries to sucker Styles in. The veteran, Styles, is much too crafty for that one. He hits some punches to Bennett and throws him off into the ropes. A huge leaping clothesline knocks Bennett down. Bennett crawls into the corner to cover up. Styles tags him with multiple forearm smashes and grabs a headlock on Bennett.
Bennett shoves Styles off of the ropes. Styles comes back with a huge clothesline to knock Bennett onto his back. Bennett rolls over and almost collapses down to the canvas. The champion has Bennett reeling with a huge succession of chops. Each chop blistered the chest of Bennett more than the last. Styles winds up and yells “one more time”. Bennett yells no and Styles chops the ever living hell out of Bennett. Bennett slumps in the corner with an agonizing feeling spreading over his chest.
Styles tags Bennett with a succession of punches before hurling him off into the ropes. A leapfrog comes over Bennett as he charges off into the ropes. Styles kicks Bennett in the ribs a couple times and doubles him over. Styles goes for a Discus Clothesline but Bennett ducks that move. Bennett clubs Styles in the back of the head with a huge clothesline to drop him.
The tide shifted in this match in the favor of Mike Bennett. The hopeful NAWA Television Champion bends down to stomp on his opponent’s head. Styles tries to fight out from underneath. Bennett drills his adversary with a huge knee strike to the bridge of the nose. More knee shots to the nose and Bennett hooks Styles with a front facelock. Bennett has Styles locked down onto the canvas. The fans are getting behind Styles. Bennett is putting the pressure down onto the back of the head of AJ Styles.
The fans are chanting for Styles to get it together. Styles is fighting back to his feet. Bennett breaks the hold and nails Styles with a violent kneelift to the chest. Another succession of kneelifts sends Styles crashing into the corner. Bennett throws Styles halfway across the ring and follows him with a thunderous clothesline. Styles slumps into the corner and Bennett hoists him up for the top rope. Bennett climbs on to the top rope. Fireman’s carry attempted, but Styles fights out with some elbow strikes. A sunset flip into a power bomb out of the corner. Styles covers Bennett hooking the leg just enough to get a two count.
The fans are chanting for AJ Styles. Styles draws in a very deep breath and waits for Bennett to get to his feet. A huge kneelift to the chest stuns him. Another kneelift stuns Bennett and he goes for a kick. Bennett spins him around. He grabs Styles for a belly-to-back suplex. Styles flips over and lands on his feet. A huge Pele Kick nails Bennett in the side of the head! Styles hooks Bennett in an Oklahoma Side Roll to hold him down for a pin! Bennett crawls back and Styles rag-tags him with a succession of forearm smashes down across the back of the head.
Styles ascends to the second rope, but Bennett ducks out of the way. Bennett grabs Styles and drives him face-first nito the bottom turnbuckle. Styles flies back with Bennett connecting with a huge full nelson slam! Bennett gives the signal. He puts Styles onto his shoulders and fireman’s carry into an Ace Crusher brings Styles down. Bennett makes the cover and gets a two and nine tenths count.

Ricochet tries to avenge his past losses against Teddy Hart tonight. Hart is trying to gain some respectability after losing a series of matches for the NAWA Cruiserweight Championship over Prince Devitt. Hart pushes Ricochet down to the canvas. Ricochet kips up and drills Hart with three kicks in succession. Ricochet hooks Hart and brings him down with a huge armdrag. Two more armdrags in succession rock Teddy Hart. Hart staggers back against the ropes and Ricochet catches him with a running dropkick to the chest which stuns him in the corner.
Those chops are rocking Teddy Hart. Hart slumps in the corner. Ricochet takes a running star and jumps into the corner. Monkey flip sends Hart crashing down to the canvas. Hart struggles to get to his feet. Ricochet nails him with a series of elbow strikes to the back of the head. Ricochet jumps on Hart’s shoulders. Hart shrugs Ricochet off and drops him down to the canvas. Ricochet hits the canvas. Hart takes the leg out from underneath him with a running dropkick.
The leg is set up with Hart turning him over. Hart turns the leg and applies a modified kneebar. Ricochet fights out of the move. Hart connects with a series of knee strikes to the back of Ricochet’s head. Ricochet climbs up to one knee. Hart kicks him in the chest to double him over. He picks up Ricochet and brings him down with a huge vertical suplex. Hart steps back to Ricochet and drives a knee down across the chest. Ricochet twitches underneath Hart. Hart picks up Ricochet off the canvas and headbutts him.
Hart hooks Ricochet and takes him down with a swinging vertical suplex. Ricochet tries to pull himself up. Hart attacks him before picking up Ricochet. He turns around and drives Ricochet down with a huge backbreaker. Hart bends Ricochet down across the spine. The fans are chanting for Ricochet. Hart drops the hold and rolls over Ricochet. He applies a modified bow and arrow submission hold on Ricochet to draw more boos.
The former NAWA Cruiserweight Champion is struggling underneath the assault of Teddy Hart. Hart rolls over Ricochet and hammers down a series of punches to the back of the head of his opponent. Ricochet is pulled up off of the canvas. Hart hammers him with repeated punches to the chest and throws him into the ropes. A high back body drop is ducked with Ricochet catching him with a kick to the chest. Another kick to the chest stomps Hart and Ricochet goes for a spin kick. Hart ducks the moves and goes for a German Suplex. Ricochet elbows his way out of the move and throws Hart off into the ropes.
Hart receives a leaping dropkick to the chest. Ricochet jumps to the second rope and goes for a springboard cross body block. He connects to Hart and covers him hooking the leg to get a two count. Ricochet steps back and waits for Hart to get to his feet. Ricochet hits him with multiple punches to the stomach. He throws Hart off into the ropes and goes for a back elbow smash. Hart catches Ricochet with a kneelift to the stomach to double him over. An attempted suplex is avoided with Ricochet dropping down the back. He sets up Hart and a huge belly to belly suplex bringing him down to the canvas. Ricochet covers Hart and gets a two count.
Up to the top rope, but Hart catches Ricochet across the back of the head. Ricochet drops down onto the top rope, with Hart ascending behind Ricochet. Hart hooks Ricochet and goes for a belly-to-back superplex. Ricochet blocks Hart’s attempt by hanging onto the top rope. A couple of elbow strikes knocks Hart down onto his feet from the canvas. Hart hits the canvas hard and Ricochet hits a moonsault into an inverted DDT! Hart is dropped and Ricochet goes to the top rope. 630 Moonsault connects to Hart. The three is scored in 11:44. Ricochet has beaten Teddy Hart and avenged his previous Pay Per View losses. Hart tortured Ricochet throughout mots of that match, but Ricochet swung the match back around.
Our next match features one man who is suffering injuries against another competitor. Kurt Angle suffered a broken wrist in a freak accident. We understand Angle is not one hundred percent and could be risking more severe injuries. He has declined to step back. Angle refuses to give up, showing his intensity. Hopefully it won’t blow up in his face.
We start the match, and instantly, Angle takes down Aries and applies a leg scissors submission hold. Aries scurries out before Angle can really get the hold locked on. Angle and Aries lock up, with Angle going low with a knee to the solar plexes. Another couple of knees stun Aries, and Angle has him down in a fireman’s carry. He applies a headscissors to Aries. The NAWA International Championship struggles out of the cranking hold from the challenger. Aries pops out of the hold and scurries away.
Angle pops Aries with an European Uppercut with the good arm. Another succession of European Uppercuts and he throws Aries into the corner. Angle follows throw with a dropkick into the corner. He grabs Aries and hammers him with repeated forearm smashes down across the back of the head. Angle snap mares Aries and connects with a kneedrop to the top of the chest. He steps back and hits another kneedrop to the chest. A third kneedrop to the chest and Angle hooks the leg for the cover to get a two count.
He puts Aries up, with Aries catching him with an elbow smash to the side of the head. Another succession of elbow strikes with Aries grabbing Angle and taking him down with an armbar takedown! Aries positions himself and stomps his wrist. Angle pulls himself up to a standing position. He catches him with a series of chops to the chest, before hooking him. An armwringer applied with Aries bending his head back. He turns the arm around and pushes Angle with a hammerlock to the back of the head. Angle drops down to one knee with Aries slamming his wrist down on the canvas.
Aries applies a scissor stomp onto the damaged wrist. The wrist might have been rebroken. Aries stomps the wrist of Angle and backs off before hitting a dropkick to the chest. Angle can’t pull himself up, with the wrist going out from underneath him. A stomp drilled to the back of the head, with Aries picking him up. A hiptoss brings Angle down onto the canvas. Aries hooks onto Angle’s arm and applies a short-arm scissor working away on the wrist. The wrist turns around with Angle pumping on the wrist. Angle crawls to the rope, but Angle is pulled away from the ropes. Aries hyper-extends the wrist and twisted it around.
The fans are booing with Aries working over the wrist. He grabs Angle and takes him down with an arm whip, before driving a stomp down onto the damaged wrist. Aries stomps on the wrist and caused him some agony. He punishes the wrist one more time. The referee checks on Angle, and Angle is refusing to submit. Aries holds the wrist and jumps over the top rope to snap the wrist hard over the ropes.
Angle falls back onto the canvas and Aries springboards off of the second rope. Kneedrop misses to the wrist. Aries rolls over to favor his leg. Angle can’t pull himself to his feet, and Aries returns fire with successive elbow strikes down onto the back of the head. Aries slaps Angle in the face hard. Angle swings a punch to Aries, and Aries kicks him in the chest. He hooks up Angle and goes for a brain buster. Angle drops down behind Aries and shoves him into the rope. A WILD RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX SENDS ARIES DOWN!
Every time Angle tries to put weight on his wrist, he can’t, so he drags himself back. He tries to pull himself up to a standing position. Aries catches Angle with an uppercut to the side of the head. A series of multiple uppercuts catch Angle in the side of the head. Aries goes for another brain buster, with Angle dropping down. A series of kneelifts drilled down into the back of Aries. Angle hits the German Suplex on Aries. He tries to hold on for a second time. Second German Suplex catches Aries down once more. He holds on for a third German Suplex and connects. Angle drags him over and covers Aries hooking the leg for a two and nine tenths count.
A series of punches to the side of the head. Angle has one functional arm. He picks up Aries and throws him off into the ropes. Aries catches Angle with an elbow smash coming in the corner. He connects Angle with a single-arm DDT to drive him down onto the ground. Aries turns the arm and applies an armbar submission. He cranks on the leg, turning it. Angle tries to struggle to the ropes. He reaches closer to the ropes. He is almost to the ropes.
Aries drags him into the center of the ring to apply the armbar. He pumps on the armbar with Angle screwing his eyes shut in agony. He tries to push up out of the move before collapsing down onto the canvas. Aries holds onto the arm to crank it. The referee checks with Angle who is dead center on the ring. The arm twists around with Angle tapping out in response. Austin Aries taps out with Kurt Angle in 13:55(*** ½)
The NAWA International Championship is retained by Aries. Angle rolls over, clutching his arm. He closes his eyes, with Aries stepping to the arena floor. He has hung onto the championship tonight and may have further injured Kurt Angle tonight.
We are up with the next match, a battle between Claudio Castagnoli and Harry Harris. Harris steps into the ring and locks up. He shoves Castagnoli back into the corner. He goes for a forearm smash. The forearm is ducked with Castagnoli hits him with a series of forearm smashes down across the back of the head. Castagnoli grabs Harris before throwing him halfway across the ring. He hoists up Harris by the shoulder and hurls him down to the canvas. Castagnoli nails him with a kneelift to the chest. Another kneelift to the chest doubles Harris over. Castagnoli launches Harris into the ropes. He hoists up Harris and hits a fireman’s carry. Airplane spin flips him down to the canvas. Castagnoli hits him with a huge kneelift to the chest and hooks him.
Gutwrench suplex sends him crashing down to the canvas. Castagnoli pulls himself up and drops a kneedrop down across the chest of Harris. Repeated stomps to the chest of Harris with Castagnoli hits him with an elbow chest. He hits a series of elbow drops to the chest. He picks Harris up off of the canvas and drives him back into the corner. He nails him with a boot to the chest. Castagnoli throws Harris down with a snap mare and he backs off. He hits a huge kneelift to the chest. A series of kneelifts stuns Harris, before hoisting him up with a vertical suplex. He holds Harris up into the air and drives him down with a vertical suplex.
Harris rolls over onto the canvas. The huge forearm smashes to the back of Harris stuns him. Castagnoli picks up Harris to apply a cravate to crank on the neck of Harris. Harris drives him with a series of elbow strikes to try and get out of the hold. Harris nails him in the stomach doubling him over and catches Castagnoli with a repeated series of kicks to the ribs. He has Castagnoli set up and brings him down with a DDT to drop him down on the canvas. Castagnoli is rolled over with Harris hooking the leg to score a two count.
A series of stomps down across the chest further stun Castagnoli. Harris motions for him to get up and a huge uppercut punch to the side of the head. He works over Castagnoli in succession with multiple uppercut punches to the side of the head. He throws Castagnoli off into the corner and hits his adversary with a running kneelift to the chest. Castagnoli is slumped in the corner and Harris catches him with a jumping kneelift to the chest which brings him down to the canvas.
Harris motions for Castagnoli to get up and hits him elbow strikes to the side of the head. The rapid fire flurry nails Castagnoli to the top of the head several times. Castagnoli tries to pull himself up, but gets a boot to the chest. Another boot to the chest further stuns Castagnoli. He drops down onto the canvas with Harris backing up and driving a huge kneedrop down on the chest. He makes the cover hooking the leg and only gets a two count when Castagnoli just barely runs the shoulder off of the canvas.
The former four time NAWA World Champion applies a sleeperhold to Castagnoli. He is working the man who beat him two Pay Per Views in a row down to the canvas. Harris is punishing Castagnoli with the referee going to check him. The arm goes up and goes down once. The arm goes up and goes down a second time. One more arm drop, and the match is over. Castagnoli prevents the arm from dropping one more time. He fights out of the hold, breaking the sleeperhold.
Harris is sent back with Castagnoli returning fire with a series of punches. He kicks Harris down onto the canvas. Castagnoli backs off, but Harris catches him running with drop toe hold. Harris connects with a huge kneelift to the back of the head. He hooks Castagnoli and belly to back suplex sends him down to the canvas. Harris steps back and waits for Castagnoli to get up. He goes the Piledriver. At the very last second Castagnoli powers out with a huge high back body drop.
The former four time NAWA World Champion tries to pull himself to a standing position. Castagnoli is back on him, nailing Harris with a series of forearm smashes to the face. Harris launches into the corner as hard as possible. Castagnoli nails his opponent with a running kneelift to the chest to double him over. Castagnoli hammers away at Harris with repeated forearm smashes and then hoists him up out of the corner. Onto the shoulders in a reverse airplane spin before Castagnoli drives Harris down.
Harris is back on his knees and beginning off. This time Castagnoli will not fall for that one. He unloads on the top of the head of Harris with numerous punches. Harris flies into the corner at a rapid fire rate. Castagnoli hooks Harris and brings him down with a side suplex. Harris crashes into the canvas hard with Castagnoli making the cover hooking the leg. He gets a two and a half count when Harris kicks out of hit out of the move. Castagnoli power lifts Harris using one hand to stand him flying off into the ropes. Harris puts the breaks on and slides to the outside.
The fans are making some noise and Nigel McGuinness comes down to the ringside. We have not seen McGuinness since Harris tricked him into signing over his NAWA World Championship return match. Harris extends his hand when inviting McGuinness out to the ring. MCGUINESS GRABS HARRIS AND THROWS HIM BACK INTO THE RING! Castagnoli grabs Harris the second he enters the ring to launch him high into the air for Swiss Death! Castagnoli covers Harris and scores the pin. Claudio Castagnoli pinned Harry Harris in 11:55(***)
The aftermath of the match leads to Castagnoli leaving the ring with the win. Nigel McGuinness steps into the ring and beats Harris down to draw cheers from the fans. McGuinness nails him with a huge lariat! McGuiness yells it’s all Harris’s fault.

The NAWA World Tag Team Titles are on the line next with the Motor City Machine Guns taking on Beer Money Incorporated. James Storm and Chris Sabin start out. Storm locks up with Sabin and hooks him. Armwringer applied to Sabin. Storm drives his elbow down across the shoulder of Sabin. He takes Sabin’s arm from behind him with a hammerlock. The tag made to Roode. Beer Money are already going with the classic strategy of cutting the ring in half. They stomp away at Sabin in the corner to stun one half of the challengers.
The Guns have been to the top or the tag team rankings before. They would love nothing better than to win the NAWA World Tag Team Titles one more time. Roode chops Sabin in the corner and throws him off into the ropes. The head is ducked too soon and Sabin hits a sliding uppercut. Tag made to Shelley on the other side. A combination sliding leg trip and springboard clothesline brings down Roode. Sabin covers Roode hooking the leg to get a two count.
A series of punches rock Roode across the back of the head, with Shelley throwing Roode into the corner. The tag is made to Sabin who takes a running star and springboards off of the back of Roode with a huge leg lariat which doubles him over. Roode is on his feet and Sabin catches him with successive stomps down to the back of the head. He goes for a kick, but Roode blocks the kick. Sabin comes back with a leg lariat to send Roode down to the canvas. Sabin covers Roode hooking the leg to get a two count.
The fans are chanting for the Motor City Machine Guns. Sabin backs Roode into the corner and starts ragtagging him with numerous punches. Sabin throws Roode halfway across the ring. Sabin charges into the corner with Roode ducking out of the way. A huge belly to back suplex sends Sabin down to the canvas. The tag is made to James Storm. The NAWA World Tag Team Champions set up Sabin for the double team suplex. The impact causes Sabin to ride in pain.
Storm is not going for the cover. He knows that it won’t be enough to put down Chris Sabin. Storm drops the full force of the knee down onto the chest of Sabin. The fans are trying to rally behind Sabin. Storm hits him with a very stiff uppercut down across the chest. Sabin is slumped over in the corner. Storm rocks his opponent and sends him halfway across the ring. A huge kneelift to the chest doubles Sabin over. Sabin is fed into the boot of Roode. Beer Money Incorporated send Sabin off into the ropes. A double team back elbow smash sends Sabin crashing down to the canvas. Beer Money is pummeling away at Sabin, drawing boos from the crowd. Sabin is trying to fight his way from his knees. Roode connects with a kneelift to the side of the head to stun Sabin even further. Sabin collapses down onto the canvas and Roode covers him hooking the leg to get a close two count.
Roode picks up Sabin and drops him down across the top rope with a Hotshot. Stepping back to survey his work is Roode. Storm snaps the neck of Sabin down onto the top rope. Sabin struggles to get to his knees. A succession of stomps further works Sabin over. The fans are chanting away for Sabin. Roode belts him with a huge forearm smash between the eyes to draw even more boos. More forearm smashes before Roode hoists up Sabin. Gutbuster and the tag is made to James Storm. Leaping kneedrop off of the ropes with Sabin held over the knees of Roode. The cover is made and there’s only a two count.
The fans are trying to rally Sabin back to his feet. Storm nails him in the chest with a huge kneelift. Another huge kneelift doubles him over and Storm steps back. He goes for a superkick to Sabin. Sabin ducks out of the way and hits a flipping neckbreaker to Storm. This could be the moment which changes the complexion of the match. Both men are crawling over, racing to the corner, racing to make the tag. The tag is made to Robert Roode. Sabin slips out and makes the tag to Alex Shelley!
Shelley jumps into the ring with a springboard knee to the chest. Down goes Roode with Shelley pounding away at the back of the head of his opponent. He throws his adversary halfway across the ring and leapfrogs over his charging body. A series of knee strikes to the chest doubles his adversary over. Shelley goes for a kick, but Roode blocks it. Enzuigiri brings him down to the canvas. Shelley springboards to the middle rope, with Roode catching him when coming off of the ropes. Roode grabs Shelley onto his shoulders and goes for a Death Valley Driver. Shelley counters with a sunset flip to get a two count.
Both Shelley and Roode exchange punches with each other. Shelley chops away at Roode and has him set up for a belly to back suplex. Roode slips down behind Shelley and hooks him with a German Suplex. Shelley fights out of the move with a series of back elbow smashes. Shelley springboards to the middle rope and goes for a huge springboard cross body block, with his knee banging into the canvas. Roode steps back and hits a running chop block to the leg of Shelley. Two more running chop blocks connects.
Roode rushes across the ring and knocks Sabin off of the ring apron. He stomps the leg of Shelley and applies a kneebar to the challenger for the NAWA World Tag Team Titles. Roode has ahold of the leg and is pulling back on him. Those ligaments are getting stretched with Roode hooking onto the leg hard as possible. Shelley is trying to fight his way out of the hold and reaching for the ropes about as far as possible. He can’t hold on for long and taps out. A freak accident plucked the NAWA World Tag Team Titles away from The Motor City Machine Guns. Beer Money Incorporated are the champions one more time.
The next match features Kevin Steen and Samoa Joe taking on the duo of Miles Stylish and D’Angelo Dinero. The NAWA World Champion D’Angelo Dinero starts out this match with Kevin Steen. Both men lock up, and Dinero quickly hits Steen with an armdrag. The fans cheer, and Steen gets to his feet. Drop toe hold by Dinero and Dinero grabs onto a hammerlock. He’s forcing Steen down onto the canvas while in the hammerlock. Dinero cranks onto the back of the head with a hammerlock as hard as hard as possible. Steen pushes out of the hold. Dinero wrings the arm out and makes the tag to Miles Stylish.
Stylish chops away at Steen and throws him into the corner. Stylish jumps into the corner with a kneelift to the chest. Another pair of kneelifts double over Steen in the corner. Stylish winds up and uppercuts Steen in the chest doubling him over. He throws Steen into the ropes. A back elbow smash is ducked. Stylish connects with a flying headscissors to send him down to the canvas. Steen pulls himself up to get an elbow smash to the head. Another elbow smash rocked to the head, and Steen is sent off of the ropes. Steen comes back with a clothesline to drop Stylish down to the canvas. Steen bends down and punches away at the back of the head of Miles Stylish. He rolls him over and smashes a forearm strike down on the back of his head.
Steen moves over to the corner and makes the tag to Samoa Joe. The winner of the 2011 Gold Rush Tournament enters the ring to chop his opponent something fierce. More chops rattle the chest of Stylish. Joe shoves him back into the corner and clotheslines him. He steps back and hits another clothesline to stun him. Joe hoists Stylish onto his shoulders. Samoan Drop brings Stylish down onto the canvas. Joe covers Stylish hooking the leg and gets a two count.
The former four time NAWA World Champion eats some kicks to the head. The tag is made to Kevin Steen. Steen steps into the ring and nails his enemy with a kneelift to the face. Steen follows things up with a couple more kneelifts in succession before he throws Stylish off into the ropes. Steen catches Stylish with a punch to the midsection. He sets up Stylish in a gutwrench and turns him before bringing Stylish down to the canvas with a huge gutbuster. He rolls Stylish over and hits a running senton to the chest. He covers Stylish hooking the leg to get a two count.
Steen hooks Stylish in a headlock and punches away at him. He makes the tag made in. Stylish is pushed back into the corner where Joe unloads on him with a succession of chops. Those chops sting the chest of Stylish as he slumps back into the corner. Joe hits Stylish with a huge headbutt in the corner. He picks up Stylish and puts him on the top rope. Stylish kicks Joe off of the ropes and jumps off the ropes into the clutches of Joe. Joe turns around with a massive powerslam to drive him down.
The former four time NAWA World Champion is laid out on the canvas. Joe steps on the face of Stylish and pulls out a spinning boot scrape to Stylish. Another spinning boot scrap delivered to the face of Stylish. Joe steps back and connects with a thunderous kneedrop which causes Stylish to spasm underneath the attack. Joe picks up Stylish and tags in Steen. Stylish is launched into the ropes and a double flapjack brings Stylish down onto the canvas.
The fans are chanting for Steen. Steen rattles his opponent with a forearm smash down across the back of the head. Another forearm smash in succession rocks him. Steen has Stylish set up and hits a double underhook power bomb to send Stylish crashing down onto the canvas. Steen covers Stylish hooking the leg and gets a two and a half count. Another headbutt to Stylish and Steen makes the cover hooking the leg. Stylish drags the shoulder off of the canvas one more time.
Steen hoists Stylish up off of the canvas, takes a step forward, and connects with an impressive backbreaker. He hangs onto Stylish and another backbreaker. He holds onto Stylish one more time and turns before hitting a third backbreaker. The former four-time NAWA World Champion is in agony. Steen rolls him over and stomps down onto the back of the head. He picks Stylish up off of the canvas and steps back. Superkick brings Stylish down. Steen covers Stylish and gets a two count off of that move. Steen bends down and punches away at the top of the head of Stylish. He moves up, moves away from Stylish, and jumps to the top rope. MOONSAULT MISSES WHEN STYLISH ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY!
The crowd erupts with cheers. The fans are losing their minds completely with Steen having wiped himself out on the canvas. Steen crawls himself over as Dinero slaps on the top buckle .He is waiting for Stylish to come into the corner. The tag is made to Samoa Joe. Joe grabs Stylish, but Stylish hooks Joe’s head and rocks him with a jawbreaker. Stylish falls back to make the hot tag to D’Angelo Dinero.
Dinero flies into the ring with a series of jabs. Each jab is more stinging than the last as he connects with Joe. Big chops send the Samoan Submission Machine reiling, and Dinero leapfrogs over Joe before landing on his feet and hitting a huge dropkick to the back of the head. Dinero bounces back off the ropes and catches Joe with a huge running dropkick to send him down to his back. Dinero covers Joe hooking the leg and gets a two count.
The fans are chanting for Dinero. Dinero kneelifts Joe and backs him off into the corner. Ten count punches until Steen rushes into the ring. Dinero catches him off of the back swing with a springboard cross body block. Dinero grabs Steen and headbutts him. Joe picks up Dinero and goes for a belly-to-back suplex. Dinero flips it over onto his back and pulls out an inverted DDT. He covers Joe hooking the leg and gets a two count.
Dinero knows it is going to take a lot more than that to take down Joe. He waits for Joe to get to his feet. Dinero nails Joe with a succession of forearm smashes to the chest. Each forearm smash sends Joe back a few steps. Dinero winds up and jumps into the air. Joe catches him in mid-move and ST-Joe brings him down to the canvas. Joe waits for Dinero to get back to his feet and hits him with a kick to the chest. Yakuza Kick in the corner, and Joe hoists up Dinero. MUSCLE BUSTER CONNECTS!
The NAWA World Champion has been laid out. Joe hooks the Rear Naked Choke on Dinero. Stylish tries to run back in to get interference. Steen catches him with a Pop-Up Power Bomb to bring him down to the canvas. Dinero struggles and attempts to fight out of the hold. The fans are trying to get deep behind Dinero. The NAWA World Champion struggles out of the hold and almost gets there, but he can’t. He collapses and has no choice other than to tap out. Samoa Joe and Kevin Steen defeated D’Angelo Dinero and Miles Stylish when Samoa Joe taps out D’Angelo Dinero with the Rear Naked Choke in 17:45(****)
Joe has done it and tapped out D’Angelo Dinero. Joe has to do that one more time at WrestleClash X and he will be the NAWA World Champion for the third time.
August 28th will be the date. WrestleClash X is the Pay Per View. The NAWA World Title will be on the line in the main event between D’Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe.
Coming up next, is our main event, the first time the NAWA Women’s Title will headline a Pay Per View. The war between Mickie James and Mia Stylish which has been going on for quite some time will end in a Texas Death Match. When your opponent is pinned or submitted, they have ten seconds to get to their feet after each decision. If they cannot get to their feet after those ten seconds are up, then the match is over and the winner is the NAWA Women’s Champion.
Mickie James defends her NAWA Women’s Championship in tonight’s main event against Mia Stylish. The bell rings and instantly Mickie spears Mia Stylish down to the canvas. A pair of headbutts rocks the former five time NAWA Women’s Champion, who is looking for her sixth championship reign tonight. Stylish scrambles to the floor with Mickie catching her with the baseball slide to the face. Mickie stomps away at the chest of Stylish and rams her head first into the guardrail. A series of punches from Mickie, and Mickie takes a running start before launching Stylish over the guardrail with a clothesline.
Both women crash on the opposite end of the guardrail. Mickie steps back and rushes before catching her opponent with a succession of punches to the side of the head. Each punch sends the former five time NAWA Women’s champion backwards. Both women exchange punches, brawling through the crowd. Mickie smashes a huge forearm to Mia Stylish and throws her over the guardrail. Both women are on the steel ramp. Mickie takes a running start and hits a tope suicida over the guardrail down onto the downed form of Mia Stylish.
The fans are cheering Mickie. Mickie kicks Stylish in the stomach and brings her back down to the ring. Forearm smashes drill Stylish down across the back of the head all the way to the ring. Mickie waistlocks Stylish and rams her back first into the ring apron. Stylish slumps over the edge of the ring apron, gasping for air. Mickie winds up and chops the ever living hell out of Stylish. Stylish tries to fire back with a punch. Mickie blocks the punch and returns fire with a couple more of her own. Mickie throws Stylish into the ring.
Back in the ring, with Mickie stomping the hands of Stylish when she begs off. Mickie throws Stylish off into the ropes. Mick Kick is ducked and Stylish comes back off of the ropes with a huge forearm smash to the face. She grabs Mickie in a front facelock and wrestles her down to the canvas. The neck is being punished by Stylish with the challenger holding onto the neck. Three knee smashes to the head in succession set up a very mean looking swinging neckbreaker. Mickie favors the neck, and Stylish kicks her in the side of the head.
Stylish goes to the outside and reaches underneath the ring. She pulls a Singapore cane out from underneath the ring. This could spell certain doom for Mickie James. Stylish winds the stick down between the shoulder blades of Mickie James. A loud crack echoes through the arena when Mickie raises the Singapore Cane and nails her opponent one more time with the most solid force imaginable. She winds up and cracks the solid wood between the shoulder blades one more time.
The pain riding through the champion must be immense. Mia puts the wood underneath the chin of Mickie and rocks back with a modified cross-face submission hold. Mickie tries to nail her opponent to break the hold. The challenger breaks the hold and swings the stick before waffling Mickie in the head while she is on her knees. Another vicious swing splinters the stick over the head of the NAWA Women’s Champion. Stylish makes the cover hooking the leg. Only a two count is delivered before Mickie James kicks out of the move.
One could see the simmering tension going in the eyes of Stylish. Stylish grabs Mickie and headbutts her. She picks up Mickie and puts her on the top rope. Stylish ascends to the top rope with Mickie. Superplex is blocked, with Mickie shoving Stylish off of the ropes. Mickie adjusts herself and jumps off with a Thesz Press. No, Stylish catches her, turns around and connects with a stun gun! Mickie James has been driven down hard throat first on the top rope, drawing boos from the fans. Stylish hooks Mickie and brings her down with a Northern Lights Bomb. She covers Mickie hooking the leg and scores the pin in 12:44
A conventional match between these two women would be over now. Under the Texas Death Rules, Mickie is still in this match if she answers the ten count. Stylish leans back in the corner. Mickie makes herself to her knees at the count of six and rises to her feet before eight.
Stylish comes back in with a series of kicks to the ribs. She has Mickie set up and drills her with a brain buster! Stylish covers Mickie hooking the leg and gets a two count off of that move! That kick out is not going to improve the mood of the challenger for the NAWA Women’s Championship. Stylish backs off and drops a huge knee down across the head of Mia Stylish. Mia bends down and hoists Mickie up. She goes for a belly to back suplex, but Mickie flips onto her feet from behind. Mickie fights back underneath with some punches.
A huge kneelift to the chest and Stylish dropkicks Mickie so hard she goes to the arena floor. Stylish is now on the ring apron and she jumps off with a double foot stomp to the back of the head to knock out Mickie James. Mickie has been taken down with that vicious stomp all the way to the arena floor. She picks up Mickie by the hair and throws her into the ring steps. Stylish is working over Mickie, and the impact of Mickie’s head busting into the ring post might have caused problems.
Now the challenger is pulling back the ring padding on the floor to expose the concrete. She’s going to finish off Mickie James here. Stylish has Mickie set up, and goes for a piledriver. MICKIE FIGHTS IT WITH A HUGE BACK DROP SLAMMING STYLISH BACK FIRST ONTO THE FLOOR! Mickie is staggering back to a kneeling position. She waits for Stylish to get up and gets her with a kick to the ribs. Mickie is now on the ring steps and she jumps off with a Thesz Press. Mickie waits for Stylish to get up and nails her with a huge running knee strike to the head. She covers Stylish hooking the leg and scores the pin in 18:55
Now we see the ten count being put on Mia Stylish. Stylish makes it back to her feet at the count of eight. She looks glassy eyed, and Mickie steps into the ring to rally the fans. Stylish grabs the hammer from the ring bell from the time keeper, and enters the ring.
Mickie sees it coming and kicks Stylish in the ribs. Another kick to the ribs, and Mickie hooks Stylish before bringing her over with a snap suplex. The fans are rallying behind Mickie James. Mickie jabs away at Stylish and throws her into the corner. A huge running knee strike in the corner stuns Stylish. Mickie prepares to go for the Mickie DDT, but Stylish blocks and rolls through. Going for the Kimura Lock, no Mickie turns that into a cross-face submission hold onto Stylish!
The fans are cheering with Mickie grabbing onto the cross-face and pulling back on the head of Stylish. Stylish is struggling to fight her way out of the hold and almost reaching for the ropes. She decides to tap out and Mickie gains the submission in 21:07
The clean break is made and the referee is putting the count on. Mia gets back to her feet at the count of eight, before suckering Mickie in with a thumb to the eye. A series of forearm smashes connects to the top of Mickie’s head before taking her down with a snap mare takedown. Stylish drills her with a kneelift right to the top of the head. She hooks Mickie and sets her up. A huge stun gun power bomb brings Mickie down off of the ropes!
We see Stylish rolling to the outside, and setting up a table on the floor. She has it set up and steps back into the ring. Stylish nails her opponent with a series of forearm smashes to the back of the head. She throws Mickie onto the ring apron. Stylish climbs to the outside and hooks Mickie in a belly to back suplex set up before dropping down and driving her tailbone first onto the ring apron.
Mickie is riding in pain and she might not be able to continue this match. Stylish hammers the top of Mickie’s head and drags her into position. She sets up Mickie to go through the table. Mickie blocks it and hooks onto the top rope. Stylish breaks the hold and comes back onto the apron. She hooks Mickie and DEATH VALLEY BOMB OFF OF THE RING APRON SENDS MICKIE CRASHING THROGUH THE TABLE AND ALL THE WAY TO THE CONCRETE FLOOR!
Mickie is completely out of it. Stylish makes the cover on the broken body of Mickie James and scores the pin in 25:55. Mia Stylish has pinned Mickie James!
The fans are trying to rally behind Mickie. That standing ten count is being delivered. Mickie is trying to pull herself back up. The referee hits eight, the referee hits nine, and Mickie just pulls herself back to her feet to continue this match.
Stylish rushes Mickie and baseball slides her in the chest to send her crashing into the guardrail. Mickie is slumped in the guardrail. She is bleeding from a cut opened on the top of her forehead. Mickie is slumped hard against the guardrail with Mia connecting with a kick to the ribs.
The champion is slumped against the guardrail. Stylish is beating on Mickie and throws her back into the ring. She climbs up to the top rope, with Mickie struggling to get to her feet. Mia jumps off of the ropes to connect with a huge Springboard DDT! Mickie has been planted down on the canvas and Stylish rolls her over to make the cover. The leg is hooked, but only a two count when Mickie gets out.
Stylish is putting Mickie into a dragon sleeper now. If she puts Mickie unconscious, than she won’t be able to get up after the ten count. The referee is checking on Mickie the second that Stylish cranks on the neck. Stylish works over the neck to draw a severe amount of heat from the fans. The referee is checking the arm. The arm comes up and it comes down once. The arm comes up and it comes down a second time. The arm comes up, and it stays up a third time!
Stylish breaks the hold and kicks Mickie down to the canvas. She puts Mickie in a headlock and punches away at the opened cut, drawing boos from the fans. A kneelift cracks Mickie directly on the bridge of the nose, stunning her even more. Stylish sets up Mickie for a Northern Lights Bomb with Mickie countering to break the hold. She drops down behind Stylish and launches her through the ropes to the floor.
The challenger bounces off the floor and returns to the ring to grab a steel chair. Stylish swings the chair at Mickie. Mickie ducks and SUPERKICKS THE CHAIR IN THE FACE OF STYLISH! Stylish gets plowed in the head with the chair. The fans are losing their minds with cheers. Mickie drags herself over and rolls an arm onto Stylish to score the pin.
The ten count is on. Mickie is slumped in the corner. Stylish struggles up, with each count making it uncertain if she is going to make it. Eventually, just barely, Stylish gets to her feet at the count of nine and a half.
The match continues, with Mickie chopping away at Stylish. Stylish comes off of the ropes and Mickie nails her with a huge clothesline! Both women are down and Mickie rolls over, before kipping up to her feet. Stylish comes up and gets a Mick Kick from Mickie James. Mickie makes the cover on Stylish hooking the leg to get a two and nine tenths count!
Mickie’s knuckles are growing white. Frustration is dancing through her eyes. She rises back to her feet and goes for the DDT, but Stylish counters with a stun gun. She grabs Mickie in a cobra clutch and suplexes her back, before hooking on a cobra clutch. The waist of Mickie is punished, with Stylish hooking onto the hold. The fans are trying rally behind Mickie. Her face is soaked in blood and Stylish is cranking on the neck, trying to force a submission. The referee is checking on Mickie, but she still has something in the tank. She is still fighting out.
The fans are chanting for Mickie, who fights out of the move. She elbows away at Stylish, and throws her into the ropes. An elbow smash is ducked, and Stylish has Mickie onto her shoulders. Mickie fights out with a series of elbow strikes and MICK KICKS STYLISH THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE ARENA FLOOR!
The fans are getting behind Mickie James. Mickie is now on the ring apron and jumps off of it. SPRINGBOARD MICKIE-DDT OFF OF THE RING APRON SENDS STYLISH INTO THE EXPOSED CONCRETE! Both women are down, but Mickie grabs the broken body of the challenger and rolls her over. With one last burst of energy, Mickie drops an arm on Stylish. The pin is made in 35:55
The referee is putting the count on Stylish. Mickie is up and the fans count along. There’s no signs of life off of that move. The referee reaches ten and Stylish is out. Mickie James retained the NAWA Women’s Title in a Texas Death Match in 36:15(**** ½)
The fans are losing their minds with Mickie finally collapsing. Blood is soaked all over the challenger who takes her belt and holds it up into the air in a token of victory. Tonight, the NAWA Women’s Championship stays in the hands of one Mickie James. Tonight, Mickie survives the war she had been through.

NAWA Glory 6/30/2011:
Amanda Sinclair is out to announce the Queen of Glory Tournament. Eight women’s competitors, where the winner will challenge the NAWA Women’s Champion Mickie James at WrestleClash X. The tournament begins tonight on Glory. Let’s get down to the ring for some great wrestling action.
Ricochet and Prince Devitt team up to take on a team of old rivals in the form of Paul London and Teddy Hart. Hart and London beat down Ricochet until he makes the hot tag. Devitt runs wild and finishes off Hart with the Bloody Sunday in 12:08(****)
After the match, Ricochet throws down a challenge to Devitt for the two of them to square off for the NAWA Cruiserweight Title at WrestleClash X. Devitt accepts the challenge and shakes hands with his partner and future adversary.
The fans are booing as Mike Bennett comes out talking about how he’s not only the NAWA Television Champion,b ut he remains unbeaten on one on one competition in the New Age Wrestling Alliance. He is going to defend the title tonight against Rob Van Dam on Glory.
Mike Bennett steps into the ring against Rob Van Dam in his first defense of the NAWA Television Title. The announcers mention that AJ Styles suffered some minor injuries, but he will get his return match when he’s cleared. Bennett avoids the Five Star Frog Splash and hits the Box Office Smash to pin Rob Van Dam in 10:55(** ¼)
The first match in the Queen of Glory Tournament takes place, with Katrina Leigh making her NAWA debut against Jessie McKay. Jessie has been trying to get a foot hold, but this is not here not. Katrina beats down Jessie and puts her in a figure-four headscissors sleeperhold for the tap out in 9:55(** ¼)

Beer Money Incorporated come out to talk about how they’ve defeated all challengers. The Motor City Machine Guns come out to interrupt and Roode says this is pathetic. The Guns lost, and they did not only lose, but they tapped out. Shelley agrees they did. They want one more match, one last match. To prove who is the best tag team in the New Age Wrestling Alliance because this company is not big enough for both teams. Shelley proposes the losing team disbands forever. No excuses, they’re done. James Storm accepts the challenge on behalf of his team. Sabin says to prove there’s a decisive winner, no flukes, no bullshit, let’s up the ante. For the first time in NAWA history, A Sixty Minute Iron Man Match for the NAWA World Tag Team Titles!
Roode says fine, they’re going to destroy the Guns and sweep the board. One hour, they can defeat them over and over again. Then they’re done, and Beer Money is going to come out with the gold. Second amendment people won’t be happy because after August 28th, there will be no more Guns in the New Age Wrestling Alliance. The challenge has been accepted.
The next match features a hellacious battle in the Queen of Glory Tournament, with Hamada making her return and beating MsChif. The green mist is blocked and Hamada pulls out the Hamada Driver for the pin in 10:07(****)
Hamada and Katrina Leigh will be the first semifinal match.
Samoa Joe steps into the ring and takes apart Willie Mack in tonight’s main event. The number one contender for the NAWA World Title shows how downright mean he can be by dissecting the Mack. Mack fights back until Joe slaps the choke on him for the submission in 10:52(*** ½)
Joe gets on the microphone and makes one thing perfectly clear. Season Ten is going to start the same way Season Ten begins. Samoa Joe is going to beat D’Angelo Dinero to become the NAWA World Title. Joe throws down the gauntlet to put both competitors into a Steel Cage!
D’Angelo Dinero comes out and yells Joe’s on. The NAWA World Title will be contested in the main event of WrestleClash X inside a Fifteen Foot High Steel Cage. We will have one decisive winner and one decisive loser. Joe yells that Dinero will not get lucky again.
