Mayhem Wrestling Alliance
The Year is 2021. The Global Pandemic of 2020 changed the economic landscape of the entire world. As the world dealt with the challenges all around, many entertainment avenues including WWE, TNA & AEW did their best to produce a positive distraction for the masses. The downside being that with no live shows, PPV buy rates were nonexistent and the Sports Entertainment industry went bankrupt by the end of the year.
In the spring of 2021, as the pandemic is brought under control, a relatively unknown real estate tycoon makes the following announcement.
“My name is William James Pemberton III and I have recently acquired assets from some of the recently liquidated professional wrestling organizations. This not only includes production equipment, transportation materials and set pieces but talent contracts as well. “
“I am here today to announce the birth of the Mayhem Wrestling Alliance. On July 25, 2021, I invite you to join us live or on Pay per view for Global Warfare! The main event for Global Warfare will be an 8-man pinfall elimination match to decide the very first Mayhem World Champion! Each of these 8 men have held championship gold in other promotions and any of them will make a fine brand ambassador for MWA!”
“We will also have 2 Tag Team Elimination Gauntlet matches with each having 4 teams. These 2 teams will compete at a future show for the Mayhem Tag Team Championships!”
“We look forward to providing top tier entertainment for the Wrestling fans going forward and will have a press release soon to announce where you can find your weekly fix of Mayhem!”

Cesaro & Sheamus start insulting their longtime rivals as they make their way down the aisle. The Undisputed Era are out next. Adam Cole accompanies Fish & O’Reilly out to the stage with a mic talking about a new prophesy and their upcoming domination of the championship landscape of MWA before he heads back and with a creepy music played on a children’s piano kicks in and the final team comes out in dark hooded cloaks. In what can only be referred to as a spot fest, showing off all 4 teams, the only downside was Rezar’s inadvertent collision with referee Elisabeth Storm that resulted in the AOP’s disqualification.
