Mayhem Wrestling Alliance
The Year is 2021. The Global Pandemic of 2020 changed the economic landscape of the entire world. As the world dealt with the challenges all around, many entertainment avenues including WWE, TNA & AEW did their best to produce a positive distraction for the masses. The downside being that with no live shows, PPV buy rates were nonexistent and the Sports Entertainment industry went bankrupt by the end of the year.
In the spring of 2021, as the pandemic is brought under control, a relatively unknown real estate tycoon makes the following announcement.
“My name is William James Pemberton III and I have recently acquired assets from some of the recently liquidated professional wrestling organizations. This not only includes production equipment, transportation materials and set pieces but talent contracts as well. “
“I am here today to announce the birth of the Mayhem Wrestling Alliance. On July 25, 2021, I invite you to join us live or on Pay per view for Global Warfare! The main event for Global Warfare will be an 8-man pinfall elimination match to decide the very first Mayhem World Champion! Each of these 8 men have held championship gold in other promotions and any of them will make a fine brand ambassador for MWA!”
“We will also have 2 Tag Team Elimination Gauntlet matches with each having 4 teams. These 2 teams will compete at a future show for the Mayhem Tag Team Championships!”
“We look forward to providing top tier entertainment for the Wrestling fans going forward and will have a press release soon to announce where you can find your weekly fix of Mayhem!”

Cesaro & Sheamus start insulting their longtime rivals as they make their way down the aisle. The Undisputed Era are out next. Adam Cole accompanies Fish & O’Reilly out to the stage with a mic talking about a new prophesy and their upcoming domination of the championship landscape of MWA before he heads back and with a creepy music played on a children’s piano kicks in and the final team comes out in dark hooded cloaks. Halfway down the aisle, the drop the cloaks start laughing…. It’s Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian. It seems they were mocking their previous personas from a former employer.

In what can only be referred to as a spot fest, showing off all 4 teams, the only downside was Rezar’s inadvertent collision with referee Elisabeth Storm that resulted in the AOP’s disqualification. Samoa Joe’s hired muscle were obviously not happy with the outcome, letting the officials know that they would not stand for this! In the end, Miz felt the full impact of the Double Uce and 1… 2… 3!

Kofi is out next to a “New Day Rocks!” Chant. “Welcome to Mayhem is Jericho” LeChampion is out and looking to regaining championship gold. “My name… is Paul Heyman… (Heyman & Lesnar make their way out to the stage and while talking they make their way to the ring where there is a pedestal with a cloth covering something) and as I predicted 2 weeks ago, I’m the Advocate for the reigning… defending.. Mayhem World Champion… BROCK LESNAR. “ Once they enter the ring, Heyman goes on “Eight men entered the Global Warfare match and, in the end, as expected BROCK LESNAR was the last one standing. Tonight, we are here to unveil the new Mayhem World Championship belt.” (Lesnar has a big smile on his face as Heyman pulls back the cover to show the gold plates on a dark green leather strap)
As Lesnar reaches out and puts the belt over his shoulder, Joe’s music hits. Joe walks out with Akam and Rezar behind him, all 3 dressed in suits.
The three men stop at the stage and give a slow sarcastic golf clap.
“Well done Brock…. You did a great job… Paul had a perfect strategy for you… Let me do the heavy lifting… and in the end when it was just the 2 of us…. When you could not beat me in the ring… you tried to kill me. “ The Megatron shows replays from the Global Warfare where Lesnar hit a F-5 on the concrete, followed by slamming his head into the steps and finishing up with an F-5 through the announce table before rolling him into the ring to pin him
“Your problem is that you didn’t finish the job…”
Joe, Akam & Razer make their way slowly down the ramp. “You and I have a history. And after our last match… Your Advocate had to work to earn his money to prevent me from getting another match against you, but your luck just ran out…in 3 weeks at Onslaught, your Ass… and that title are mine.”
Brock takes the mic from Paul “You couldn’t beat me in the past… You couldn’t beat me at Global Warfare… and now you have to bring backup with you just to run your mouth?” Brock Laughs.
Joe walks up the steps and into the ring to stand facing Lesnar while the other 2 men stay at the bottom of the ramp.
“Brock, you have things all wrong. They aren’t here to back me up. They are here to keep the security team from rescuing you” Joe hits Lesnar with a 2-leg takedown and starts hitting him with mounted punches.
