So I might be finally able to purchase TNM after a few years of interest. But after I do buy it, what other plugins would you suggest I download for a more complete program?

First of all: no plugins are NECESSARY per se, except for specific circumstances: - If you intend to import wrestlers regularly and/or import any wrestlers created on TNM TE, the Export File Wizard plugin is a necessity. - If you intend to import tons of wrestlers and delete tons of wrestlers only to import more, I recommend the Database Cleaner plugin. It's the only reliable way to keep your databases small and clean (it allows you to quickly delete moves, dives, managers that are no longer used by anybody in your program).
The good news is that the #1 and #2 plugins people use, TweakCirc SE (circuit customization) and the Theme Music Wizard (to assign entrance themes to wrestlers without having to edit each of their records one by one) are free now and come preinstalled with TNM 7 SE.
The other most popular plugins are the Circuit History plugin and the Weight Class Wizard plugin because they allow you to do a ton of things in your circuits that the main program doesn't do.
People who use a ton of export files also appreciate the Wrestler Comparison Wizard because it lets you quickly check and compare wrestlers in export files and your TNM database. This is really useful when you want to determine if you'd rather want to import a new version of wrestler X or keep the one you have. In the past, there was no way to do this. The plugin gives you a way to make an informed decision.
The Enhancement Talent Generator is something a ton of people like because it puts you in a position where you can quickly generate packs of either jobbers or full-blown wrestlers with only a few clicks.
There are a ton of others and I encourage you to make full use of the trial period to see what is actually useful to you and what isn't - everybody's different.
Long story short: If you never buy a single plugin, you can still get a ton of fun out of the program. The only absolute MUST is TweakCirc SE, and that's been free now since Build 12 came out. Everything else is nice to have and only becomes really useful in specific scenarios.
Half of all TNM users own no plugins at all, 35 percent own one or two and so on. Only 9 percent of TNM users own five or more.

My personal favorite is the Special Move Wizard. It enables you to assign special names to the generic moves in the database based on who is wrestling, without using the move as a finisher. For example, if you’re playing with Kenny Omega, you could rename his running knee strikes to V-Tigger or Chris Jericho’s Boston Crab to the Walls of Jericho, Shawn Michael’s back suplex to Teardrop Suplex, etc.
To me, this adds a lot of flavour to the commentary.

Whatever happened to the arena plugin? I loved it because it let you add arenas to your circuit and other stats. If there is an updated version out there I would love to use it again.

The current version of the plugin also lets you rename TNM moves globally which might come in handy.

Ryan's still around on our beta testing team but no longer has the source code.
The final version I'm aware of is archived here: Arena Plugin
