MAIN CARD Welterweight Championship: Georges St. Pierre (c) vs Dan Hardy Heavyweight Bout To Be Lesnar's Bitch: Frank Mir vs Carwin Lightweight: Kurt Pellegrino vs Fabricio Camoes Welterweight: Jon Fitch vs Ben Saunders Lightweight: Jim Miller vs Mark Bocek
SPIKE TV PRELIMS Welterweight: Nate Diaz vs Rory Markham Welterweight: Ricardo Almedia vs Matt Brown
PRELIMS Bunch of guys I've never heard of.
Really looking forward to this card: two big matches plus I'm a fan of Fitch and Miller. Really hope Carwin wins because I don't want to see Lesnar-Mir III. I think GSP retains too. I'm not a fan of GSP, but I don't cheer dudes in mohawks except Mister T and The Road Warriors.

Thought that was a pretty good PPV. GSP dominated his match, but Hardy escaping the kimura and armbar were impressive. Carwin demolished Mir which makes the Lesnar-Carwin fight interesting as Carwin looks like someone who can match Lesnar's pure power. Pellegrino won an interesting fight. Miller's win over Bocek was a really good fight. Fitch dominated Saunders although it was mostly a dull fight.
Palhares submitting Drwal was pretty embarassing for Drwal, but I wonder if Palhares will be fined for not releasing the hold sooner.
Wondering about the one untelevised prelim. First time I've heard of a DQ in UFC since I started watching a couple years ago. "Illegal upkick"? Is that fancy talking for saying he punted the guy in the nads?

Odd... I know if someone is on their hands and kneeds you can't knee them in the head or whatever... Maybe someone tried a Randy Orton head kick?

"illegal upkick" could've either been to the groin from the ground (if it's in upkick form, I dunno if they'd say "upkick" or "groinstrike") or the guy on top had already one knee or one hand on the mat when the guy on the bottom did the upkick, which would make it illegal, like PSZ said. It doesn't matter if you're throwing them from the top or the bottom, they're illegal.
For a match to get stopped because of them they must've neither been deemed as intentional or he must've kept doing it throughout the match or had a couple other warnings for things in the match. I'm not sure that if a guy can't continue after one unintentional one that it becomes a DQ, I think they either call it a no contest or they do TKO for the victim.
