NAWA Glory 9/14/06
Coming up tonight, both of the men in the NAWA Championship I Quit Match will be in action in our duel main event, as Austin Aries takes on Teddy Hart and Christopher Daniels meets Raven. Plus, Unholy Alliances Partners collide, when Sederick Skyhawk takes on Samoa Joe for the NAWA Television Champion and Harry Harris makes his return to take on Simon Diamond.
NAWA International Title Match
Homicide(w/Low-Ki and Larry Sweeney) vs. the Gambler(c)
The Gambler hammers away at Homicide at the bell, throwing him into the ropes. A drop toe hold and the Gambler applies a hammerlock, but the Gambler fights up to his feet, connecting with a series of elbows to the side of the head. Homicide beats on the Gambler, throwing him into the corner. Leg lariat stuns the Gambler in the corner and Homicide drills him with a couple of forearms right to the face. Suplex is blocked and the Gambler counters with a suplex of his own, before he drops an elbow. Another elbow is dropped right across the chest and the Gambler picks up Homicide, before throwing him into the corner. Charging into the corner but Homicide gets a foot up to the face. Homicide beats on the Gambler with a series of vicious punches and Homicide hooks the Gambler, before hitting a gutbuster, and a series of punches right to the side of the head. Homicide backs up and lariats the Gambler down to the canvas, getting a two count.
Homicide picks up the Gambler and slams him down. Stomps and Homicide climbs to the outside. Homicide hits a frog splash right to the Gambler and the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion covers for a two count. Homicide picks up the Gambler, hammering away at him. Gringo Cutter is blocked but Homicide drills him with a kneelift right to the chest. Homicide hammers him with a series of chops right to the chest and hoists up the Gambler. Death Valley Driver brings the Gambler down for a two count. Homicide continues to beat down on the Gambler and to the outside. Slingshot somersault senton is avoided and Homicide hits hard. The Gambler is back on his feet and he pummels Homicide, before stepping back and connecting with a spear to Homicide! Homicide goes down and Low-Ki enters the ring, but the Gambler fights him off. Homicide has the blackjack and he blatantly waffles the Gambler with it for the disqualification!
The Gambler defeated Homicide by disqualification in 0:09:25.

Post match, the Rottweilers are now double teaming the Gambler. Homicide holds the Gambler, as Low-Ki drills him with a kick to the ribs, as Larry Sweeney looks on in an approving manner. The fans are cheering, as Jerry Lynn makes his way out to fight off the Rottweilers. Later tonight, Lynn will square off against Low-Ki and Lynn has saved the Gambler from perhaps another vicious, brutal beating. The fans are cheering Lynn as he checks on the Gambler, who is still out it after getting a blackjack wrapped around his skull.
Coming up next, Harry Harris returns to the ring, after his brutal Walk Through Hell Match with Abyss. We wonder exactly how much Harris is ready to go, after the savage beating that he suffered, that is too brutal to air on television. Abyss is still on the shelf but coming up next, Harry Harris steps in the ring with Simon Diamond.

Simon Diamond enters the ring saying that for once Simon does not have a problem because Simon will take on someone who is less than a hundred percent in Harry Harris. Diamond says that he hopes Harris is ready to suffer the most crushing loss in his in entire career. Diamond calls Harris out but "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins plays and no Harris. WAIT HARRIS MANAGES TO COME OUT OF THE CROWD! He looks pained every step he takes, obviously the Walk Through Hell Match has taken a lot out of him but he enters the ring with a steel chair and smacks it across Diamond's head from behind. Harris begins obliterating Diamond with a series of chair shots before he calls for the microphone.
He talks about how it took every bit of strength that he could muster to get out of bed this morning and climb onto a plane, when he was informed that he had to work tonight. Harris says that Larry Sweeney seems intent to end his career but as long as there is a breath in his body, Harris will keep fighting. In fact, Harris declares that despite the fact that he has been saddled with Mr. Fernando as a partner, he will win the Unholy Alliances Tournament and go onto regain the NAWA World Title. Harris talks about how his two other reigns were cut short by injury but vows that the third time will be the charm and he will hold the NAWA World Title for far longer and he will not be derailed. Harris leaves the ring, as his scheduled opponent Diamond has been wiped out.
Coming up next, scheduled Unholy Alliances opponents collide when Sederick Skyhawk gets a shot at the NAWA Television Champion Samoa Joe coming up next on Glory.

Sederick Skyhawk(w/Candace Sweet) vs. Samoa Joe(c)
Skyhawk, now with a full head of curly brown hair, attacks Samoa Joe right at the bell but Joe shrugs off his attacks and lariats him so hard that it knocks his hair off, revealing that Skyhawk is still pretty much bald. Joe continues to beat on Skyhawk, drawing some cheers, before he slaps on the Kokina Clutch and Skyhawk taps in a split second, to avoid the shame of his bald head being shown.
Samoa Joe made Sederick Skyhawk submit to the Kokina Clutch in 0:02:04.

Samoa Joe gets the win but as Skyhawk tries to escape, Joe grabs Skyhawk by the throat and drags him back into the center of the ring. Joe declares that they are partners in the Unholy Alliances Tournament and Skyhawk better hold up his end of the team and not worry about his stupid wig coming off. Joe says that if Skyhawk worries about the wig, Joe will make him eat the wig. Joe gives Skyhawk a Muscle Buster and declares that he has no problems whatsoever teaming with a corpse, so if Skyhawk steps out of line, there will be trouble, big trouble. Joe leaves, as Candace tries to revive her charge but fights that it is a bit more difficult than she thought.
Backstage:
Larry Sweeney talks about how Harry Harris thinks that he has cheated the system, that attacking someone with a chair will just get him out of competing in the ring but Sweeney says that he will in fact have the last laugh before the Unholy Alliances Tournament, as next week on this program, Simon Diamond and Harry Harris will happen but it will be a no disqualification match for Simon Diamond but not for Harry Harris. Sweeney says that if Harris uses one weapon in this match, he will be disqualified and his spot in the Unholy Alliances Tournament is forfeit. Sweeney says that Harris will learn to respect authority and says that there is no chance that Harris will win the Unholy Alliances Tournament. After next week, he might not even make it to the tournament.

Jerry Lynn vs. Low-Ki
Some mat wrestling to start out but Low-Ki quickly lays in the strikes on Lynn, drawing some boos from the fans. A series of chops from Low-Ki and Lynn is thrown into the ropes but ducking a kick and Lynn takes Low-Ki down with a clothesline. Snap mare and running neck snap sets up a two count. Lynn bends down and hammers away at Low-Ki, picking him up and hammering away at him with a series of forearm shots right to the side of the head. Lynn picks up Low-Ki some more and rams him into the corner. Lynn sets up Low-Ki and goes for a suplex but Low-Ki drops down and begins laying in kick after kick right to the side and the legs of Lynn. Kneelift by Low-Ki and now Low-Ki sets up Lynn, before bringing him down with a brain buster for a count of two. Low-Ki picks up Lynn and a series of forearms, before he takes Lynn down with a short arm leg lariat. To the second rope and Low-Ki hits a vicious double foot stomp to the chest of Lynn. Cover is made but only a two count.
Low-Ki kicks away at Lynn and applies a Dragon Clutch, working over Lynn, viciously pulling back on the neck. Lynn begins to fight off but Lynn is forced back and Running Yakuza Kick right to the face of Lynn gets a close two count. Low-Ki rams a knee right to the side of the head of Lynn and picks up Lynn, propping him into the corner, before hammering him with chop after chop right in the corner. Low-Ki throws his opponent in the corner but misses a charge, allowing Lynn to pull out a German Suplex for a two count. Lynn hammers away at Low-Ki, before hitting a lariat, mowing Low-Ki down for a two count. Lynn picks up Low-Ki and hammers him some more, before going to the outside and hitting a springboard dropkick bring Low-Ki down for a two count. Lynn picks up Low-Ki and beats on him with chops. Setting up the Tornado DDT but Low-Ki hangs on. Lynn lands on his feet and LOW-KI PLASTERS HIM RIGHT IN THE FACE WITH A DEADLY ROUNDHOUSE KICK! This move has knocked out so many men before and Low-Ki covers Lynn for the pin!
Low-Ki pinned Jerry Lynn after a roundhouse kick in 0:10:37.

Low-Ki has scored perhaps the biggest single victory of his career over Jerry Lynn and Lynn is pulled to his feet, before he is given more kicks, including a nasty one right to the eye, before Low-Ki gives Lynn the Ki Krusher. Low-Ki is an angry man and he has just taken out his aggression on Jerry Lynn.
Backstage:
We have a few words with Raven who talks about how every man has his threshold of pain, before he decides to submit. Say two words that no man wants to say, because that is a sign of his morality. Raven says that he will find Teddy Hart's threshold of pain and prove that Hart is not worthy to hold the mantle of NAWA World Title. He is willing to do anything to Hart to break him, willing to go to all extremes to find the one thing that will cause Hart to submit. Raven says that Hart will not make him say those two words, because Raven will pass out before he does. He feasts on pain, both the pain of others and his own. Raven says that Hart only has the Sharpshooter as a submission hold and nothing else that he is willing to use to make a man submit. Raven has studied the Sharpshooter and can counter it no matter the circumstances now. Hart will be unable to catch him in it again. Raven states that tonight against Christopher Daniels, he will prove that he has more than his ankle lock as his tool of choice for pain and he will make Daniels submit tonight. So it is written, so it shall come to pass. Quoth the Raven, nevermore.

Christopher Daniels vs. Raven.
Both men know each other very well and exchange some holds, before Daniels hits a dropkick to Raven, which causes him to back off. A series of elbows are driven to the side of the head of Raven and Daniels throws Raven into the ropes. Leapfrog right over the charging Raven and Daniels comes back with a spinning leg lariat to take Raven down to the canvas! Daniels bends down and picks up Raven, before hammering him with a pair of jabs right to the throat. Raven is doubled over and Daniels takes him down with a swinging neckbreaker. Two count and Daniels dropkicks Raven, before sending him to the floor. Tope suicida delivered by Daniels, as he continues to pour on the offense and he beats on Raven on the floor, but Raven catches him with a kneelift, before sending Daniels into the guardrail with a Russian Legsweep! Daniels crashes into the guardrail and Raven reenters the ring to break the count.
Daniels returns to the ring at the count of eight and Raven hammers away at Daniels, stomping the back of his head. Running kneelift right to the chest of Daniels and Raven hooks him, before hitting a facebuster right across the knee. Raven continues to beat on Daniels and applies a headscissors submisison move. Raven is trying to prove that he does have a few submission moves tucked away but Daniels fights out, which causes Raven to clothesline Daniels into the corner, before hitting a bulldog for a two count. Gutwrench suplex and Raven applies a Stump Puller to Daniels! A painful submission move and Raven is really working it in but Daniels escapes the move once again. Raven picks up Daniels and into the ropes. Back elbow smash is ducked and Daniels leaps to the middle rope, before hitting an Asai Moonsault to take out Raven for a two count. Daniels is up once again and kneelifts Raven right in the chest. Another kneelift right to the chest and Daniels throws Raven into the ropes, before hitting a leaping elbowsmash bringing him down for a two count.
Daniels has Raven back up to his feet and kicks right to the midsection. Raven is measured and taken down with a spin kick! Daniels now picks up Raven and forearms down across the back. Brain buster delivered by Daniels and to the outside goes Raven, hitting a springboard elbow drop. Cover on Raven but only a two count. Daniels picks up Raven and a series of elbows to the side of the head, before hitting a kick to the midsection. Angel's Wings but Raven blocks that and catapult but Daniels lands on the corner and twisting forearm smash right out of the corner. Raven is brought down and Daniels grabs him, before hitting an STO! Daniels has Raven set up and now Daniels is up to the top rope. Best Moonsault Ever hits the knees! Raven is up and he punts Daniels in the side twice, before he applies a bodyscissors cobra clutch to Daniels! Raven is putting the hold on and Daniels has nowhere to go so he submits!

Raven has gotten the win tonight like he said he was going to. That bodyscissored cobra clutch proved to be effective tonight, as he will face Teddy Hart in ten days time at Unholy Alliances for the NAWA World Title in an I-Quit Match. There are no pinfalls, no countouts, no disqualification, no time limit, no tap outs, no knockouts, no stoppages. The only way this match can end is by one man saying the words "I Quit" on the microphone for the entire world to hear. Who will be the one to be forced to say those two words? We'll find out at Unholy Alliances, as Teddy Hart makes his first NAWA World Title defense against the man that he beat for the title, Raven in an I-Quit Match. One thing may be for certain, with two men who appear to have no quit in them, this match will not be for the faint of heart.

Austin Aries vs. NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart(Non Title Match)
Chop battle won by Teddy Hart, who delivers a pair of armdrags right to Aries. A series of forearm smashes ricochet off of the side of the head of Aries and Hart throws him into the corner. Leaping leg lariat in the corner and Hart to the second rope, ten count punches and he backflips to his feet, before he dropkicks Aries right in the chest, before hits a Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. Hart beats on Aries and into the ropes. Clothesline ducked but Aries comes back with an Asai Leg Lariat which gets a two count. Hart with a series of elbows to the back of the head and a somersault elbowdrop. Hart continues to put the punishment on but Aries drop toe holds Hart, causing him to be hung up on the ropes! Aries hits a kneelift to the back of the head followed by a running neck snap on the top rope, leaping over the top rope. Aries drags Hart to the outside, and back into the ring, before he baseball slides Hart backwards and then steps back. TOPE SUICIDA CAUSES HART TO CRASH RIGHT INTO THE GUARDRAIL!
Ten count on the floor but Hart is rolled back into the ring. Slingshot splash by Aries gets a two count on Hart. Aries drills Hart with a series of uppercuts and facelocks Hart, before hitting a series of knees right to the face, forcing Hart down and then he flips backwards, in that painful bridging submission hold. Hart makes it to the ropes and Aries continues to beat on Hart, before gutwrenching him, right into a twisting power bomb. Aries covers Hart hooking the leg for a two count. The fans are getting on the case of Aries who steps to the outside and springboard dropkick right to the chest of Hart. Aries now bends down and hammers away at Hart, before throwing him into the ropes. Tilt a whirl right into a suplex and Aries rolls Hart over, before following through with a La Magistral Cradle for a two count. Aries picks up Hart and a series of forearms right to the chest. Aries puts Hart on the top rope and fireman's carry, right into a super gutbuster! Hart is stunned and Aries dropkicks him in the side, before he makes a cover hooking the leg for a two and nine tenths count!
Aries picks up Hart and a couple of uppercuts right to the jaw. Brain buster is countered as Hart slips out of the backdoor and hits a Russian Legsweep. To the second rope goes Hart and a somersault legdrop to the chest of Aries gets a two count. Hart picks up Aries and swinging suplex gets another two count. Hart then picks up Aries and hammers away at him with chops, before throwing him into the ropes. Back elbow smash is ducked but not the sleeperhold. Hart applies the sleeperhold on Aries but Aries counters with a belly to back suplex! He dumps Hart down hard on the canvas and now Aries picks up Hart, hammering away at the back of his head. Front facelock and kneelifts, set up the brain buster! Aries now goes to the top rope, but he is taking his time, being a bit arrogant, as he is on the top rope. 450 Splash misses when Hart moves out of the way. Aries has been taken out and Hart walks over, looking like he is going for the Sharpshooter but changes his mind and applies an Anaconda Vice! He is really sending a message to Raven, proving that he has more than the Sharpshooter at his disposal! The fans are cheering, as Aries struggles but has nowhere to go and once again, a submission victory has been rendered.

Low-Ki has scored perhaps the biggest single victory of his career over Jerry Lynn and Lynn is pulled to his feet, before he is given more kicks, including a nasty one right to the eye, before Low-Ki gives Lynn the Ki Krusher. Low-Ki is an angry man and he has just taken out his aggression on Jerry Lynn.
Backstage:
We have a few words with Raven who talks about how every man has his threshold of pain, before he decides to submit. Say two words that no man wants to say, because that is a sign of his morality. Raven says that he will find Teddy Hart's threshold of pain and prove that Hart is not worthy to hold the mantle of NAWA World Title. He is willing to do anything to Hart to break him, willing to go to all extremes to find the one thing that will cause Hart to submit. Raven says that Hart will not make him say those two words, because Raven will pass out before he does. He feasts on pain, both the pain of others and his own. Raven says that Hart only has the Sharpshooter as a submission hold and nothing else that he is willing to use to make a man submit. Raven has studied the Sharpshooter and can counter it no matter the circumstances now. Hart will be unable to catch him in it again. Raven states that tonight against Christopher Daniels, he will prove that he has more than his ankle lock as his tool of choice for pain and he will make Daniels submit tonight. So it is written, so it shall come to pass. Quoth the Raven, nevermore.

Christopher Daniels vs. Raven.
Both men know each other very well and exchange some holds, before Daniels hits a dropkick to Raven, which causes him to back off. A series of elbows are driven to the side of the head of Raven and Daniels throws Raven into the ropes. Leapfrog right over the charging Raven and Daniels comes back with a spinning leg lariat to take Raven down to the canvas! Daniels bends down and picks up Raven, before hammering him with a pair of jabs right to the throat. Raven is doubled over and Daniels takes him down with a swinging neckbreaker. Two count and Daniels dropkicks Raven, before sending him to the floor. Tope suicida delivered by Daniels, as he continues to pour on the offense and he beats on Raven on the floor, but Raven catches him with a kneelift, before sending Daniels into the guardrail with a Russian Legsweep! Daniels crashes into the guardrail and Raven reenters the ring to break the count.
Daniels returns to the ring at the count of eight and Raven hammers away at Daniels, stomping the back of his head. Running kneelift right to the chest of Daniels and Raven hooks him, before hitting a facebuster right across the knee. Raven continues to beat on Daniels and applies a headscissors submisison move. Raven is trying to prove that he does have a few submission moves tucked away but Daniels fights out, which causes Raven to clothesline Daniels into the corner, before hitting a bulldog for a two count. Gutwrench suplex and Raven applies a Stump Puller to Daniels! A painful submission move and Raven is really working it in but Daniels escapes the move once again. Raven picks up Daniels and into the ropes. Back elbow smash is ducked and Daniels leaps to the middle rope, before hitting an Asai Moonsault to take out Raven for a two count. Daniels is up once again and kneelifts Raven right in the chest. Another kneelift right to the chest and Daniels throws Raven into the ropes, before hitting a leaping elbowsmash bringing him down for a two count.
Daniels has Raven back up to his feet and kicks right to the midsection. Raven is measured and taken down with a spin kick! Daniels now picks up Raven and forearms down across the back. Brain buster delivered by Daniels and to the outside goes Raven, hitting a springboard elbow drop. Cover on Raven but only a two count. Daniels picks up Raven and a series of elbows to the side of the head, before hitting a kick to the midsection. Angel's Wings but Raven blocks that and catapult but Daniels lands on the corner and twisting forearm smash right out of the corner. Raven is brought down and Daniels grabs him, before hitting an STO! Daniels has Raven set up and now Daniels is up to the top rope. Best Moonsault Ever hits the knees! Raven is up and he punts Daniels in the side twice, before he applies a bodyscissors cobra clutch to Daniels! Raven is putting the hold on and Daniels has nowhere to go so he submits!

Raven has gotten the win tonight like he said he was going to. That bodyscissored cobra clutch proved to be effective tonight, as he will face Teddy Hart in ten days time at Unholy Alliances for the NAWA World Title in an I-Quit Match. There are no pinfalls, no countouts, no disqualification, no time limit, no tap outs, no knockouts, no stoppages. The only way this match can end is by one man saying the words "I Quit" on the microphone for the entire world to hear. Who will be the one to be forced to say those two words? We'll find out at Unholy Alliances, as Teddy Hart makes his first NAWA World Title defense against the man that he beat for the title, Raven in an I-Quit Match. One thing may be for certain, with two men who appear to have no quit in them, this match will not be for the faint of heart.

Austin Aries vs. NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart(Non Title Match)
Chop battle won by Teddy Hart, who delivers a pair of armdrags right to Aries. A series of forearm smashes ricochet off of the side of the head of Aries and Hart throws him into the corner. Leaping leg lariat in the corner and Hart to the second rope, ten count punches and he backflips to his feet, before he dropkicks Aries right in the chest, before hits a Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. Hart beats on Aries and into the ropes. Clothesline ducked but Aries comes back with an Asai Leg Lariat which gets a two count. Hart with a series of elbows to the back of the head and a somersault elbowdrop. Hart continues to put the punishment on but Aries drop toe holds Hart, causing him to be hung up on the ropes! Aries hits a kneelift to the back of the head followed by a running neck snap on the top rope, leaping over the top rope. Aries drags Hart to the outside, and back into the ring, before he baseball slides Hart backwards and then steps back. TOPE SUICIDA CAUSES HART TO CRASH RIGHT INTO THE GUARDRAIL!
Ten count on the floor but Hart is rolled back into the ring. Slingshot splash by Aries gets a two count on Hart. Aries drills Hart with a series of uppercuts and facelocks Hart, before hitting a series of knees right to the face, forcing Hart down and then he flips backwards, in that painful bridging submission hold. Hart makes it to the ropes and Aries continues to beat on Hart, before gutwrenching him, right into a twisting power bomb. Aries covers Hart hooking the leg for a two count. The fans are getting on the case of Aries who steps to the outside and springboard dropkick right to the chest of Hart. Aries now bends down and hammers away at Hart, before throwing him into the ropes. Tilt a whirl right into a suplex and Aries rolls Hart over, before following through with a La Magistral Cradle for a two count. Aries picks up Hart and a series of forearms right to the chest. Aries puts Hart on the top rope and fireman's carry, right into a super gutbuster! Hart is stunned and Aries dropkicks him in the side, before he makes a cover hooking the leg for a two and nine tenths count!
Aries picks up Hart and a couple of uppercuts right to the jaw. Brain buster is countered as Hart slips out of the backdoor and hits a Russian Legsweep. To the second rope goes Hart and a somersault legdrop to the chest of Aries gets a two count. Hart picks up Aries and swinging suplex gets another two count. Hart then picks up Aries and hammers away at him with chops, before throwing him into the ropes. Back elbow smash is ducked but not the sleeperhold. Hart applies the sleeperhold on Aries but Aries counters with a belly to back suplex! He dumps Hart down hard on the canvas and now Aries picks up Hart, hammering away at the back of his head. Front facelock and kneelifts, set up the brain buster! Aries now goes to the top rope, but he is taking his time, being a bit arrogant, as he is on the top rope. 450 Splash misses when Hart moves out of the way. Aries has been taken out and Hart walks over, looking like he is going for the Sharpshooter but changes his mind and applies an Anaconda Vice! He is really sending a message to Raven, proving that he has more than the Sharpshooter at his disposal! The fans are cheering, as Aries struggles but has nowhere to go and once again, a submission victory has been rendered.
