Coolest part of the whole night was Belcher dropping Cote on his face with what was essentially a gutwrench Pedigree. The choke afterwards was mere academic. Belcher apparently wants to fight Spider Silva.

Haha Kimbo Slice got his ass kicked. Matt Mitrione looks pretty raw, but if he can become more polished fighter he's got alot of potential with those powerful kicks.

I graded it a 30-27 win for Stephens over Stout. Closer fight overall but I didn't really think Stout won any of the rounds.

I still hate Koscheck but he clearly owned Daley. And his "eye injury" in Round 1 was absolute bullshit, as clearly shown by the replays. I recall this isn't the first time that jackass has faked getting a finger to the eye.

Disappointed that Machida got KO'd.

Overall, a good but not great PPV.

I did not agree with the Stout/Stephens decision, BUT it was a good enough and close enough fight that I won't complain.


The Gutwrench, Fall Down Pedigree was quite fun to watch. In fact, there was a good number of "Big Drops" throughout the night.


I still don't like Mitrione, but he clearly is the better MMA fighter at this point.

I'm a fan of Machida, but after the last fight, I was expecting Rua to win the whole time (Though not QUITE that quickly)


As for my hangover this morning... Well... It felt like *I* got snuck instead of Koschek after his fight :-P (Not that he hasn't deserved it). And yes, even the ref decided not to penalize Daley for the phantom "knee to the head". It was pretty damn blatant he was "flopping" to use the basketball term.

I loved Rogan's crack that Daley's sucker punch was the only good punch he threw all night.

Not only did this PPV see alot of big drops but I think it also saw a couple good groin kicks on missed inner leg kicks. You see those occasionally but these were some of the more painful ones.

That sequence where Mitrione threw a high kick which Kimbo ducked into and went for the takedown only to be caught in a triangle which he tried a couple times to powerbomb out of was pretty sweet.

I forget the guy's name, but the prelim fight they showed with a guy who deserves the nickname "Mr. Moustache" had everyone at my table cheering for him just because of the size of his moustache. Sadly he got choked out pretty good.

And yes, that was a good fight, too.
