NAWA Glory 9/28/06
We cut immediately to the parking lot with an incident that happened hours before Glory went on the air, where Larry Sweeney arrives with Ron Killings, Matt Bentley, and the Rottweilers bringing up the back door and HARRY HARRIS RUSHES FROM THE ARENA, TRYING TO TAKE OUT EVERYONE WITH A BASEBALL BAT! The heels quickly scatter, as Harris goes for Sweeney, yelling about how there was a conspiracy theory to screw him out of the title shot. Harris smashes up the windows of several parked cars but suddenly, Samoa Joe jumps from out of nowhere, taking Harris out with a Yakuza Kick to the side of the head and throws Harris onto the hood of a car, before applying the Kokina Clutch! Harris tries to fight but Joe is getting the better of him.
"Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top plays and the fans are booing, as Miles Stylish makes his way down to the ring, as we are live tonight on Glory. Stylish asks the fans if they missed him and the fans boo, but Stylish says the feeling is more than mutual. Stylish talks about how he took several months off to rest up a back injury that he got "from carrying this entire company on my back" and returned. Stylish says that when he had that match with Harry Harris that forced him out of the company, he was working with an injury but unlike Harris, Stylish is a true competitor and a champion. Stylish says that Harris got his one win at Gold Rush but even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Stylish says that he pinned Harris handily and he says he could defeat Harris when both men are one hundred percent if the situation warranted it.
Stylish shifts gears to Teddy Hart, thanking Hart for holding onto "his belt". Stylish says that if you looked up the term "transitional champion" in the dictionary, you would see a picture of Teddy Hart. Stylish says the only reason that Hart is the champion is because Miles Stylish was not around. Stylish talks about how if it wasn't for Hart's last name, he would be working at a 7-11 somewhere. Stylish calls Teddy a disgrace to the legacy of a great wrestling family. "If Bret saw you right now, he'd probably have another stroke." The fans boo and out comes Teddy Hart from the back, to shut up Stylish with a missile dropkick right to the back of the head!
Stylish flies through the ropes to the floor! The fans are really cheering, as Hart cuts a fired up promo, talking about how Stylish is good at running his mouth but at the End of Days, Stylish will have to put his money where his mouth is. Tonight, Teddy Hart and Miles Stylish will be on opposite teams, when Hart teams with the NAWA International Champion the Gambler to take on Miles Stylish and Austin Aries.

Out comes Candace Sweet, along with Sederick Skyhawk, who has a full head of flowing blond hair this week. Candace reads a prepared statement, about how bald people are a sin against humanity and how they should have the decency to cover their heads in public, to prevent us from suffering the horror of seeing their hairless heads. Candace states that contrary to popular belief, Sederick Skyhawk, the star of the highest magnitude has a full flowing head of thick hair, which will not be coming off any time soon. Skyhawk turns around, as he twirls his hair and tugs at it. It appears that Skyhawk has done a better job in fastening the wig to his head this week but whether or not that will stick, remains to be seen. Candace registers her absolute horror that Skyhawk's opponent is one of those "awful bald people", Christopher Daniels. Out comes Daniels, who has a stern look on his face, as the bell rings to kick off this match.

Backstage:
Dan Marion is with Chris Sabin, asking him about Matt Bentley. Sabin says sooner or later, he will get his match with Bentley and beat his former friend and tag team partner but right now, Sabin has the match of his life, a chance to become the NAWA Television Champion against the undefeated Samoa Joe. Sabin says he has spent the last day watching tapes of Joe, trying to study as much as he can and he vows that tonight, it will be the end of Joe's undefeated streak and Sabin's first singles championship in the New Age Wrestling Alliances. Sabin looks pumped and that match is a little bit later.

"Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins plays and out comes Harry Harris, with his face swollen after the kick he suffered from Joe and he still looks for wear from the Pay Per View last Sunday, when he suffered a horrific beating at the hands of Samoa Joe. Harry Harris is on the microphone, talking about how last Sunday, by all rights, he should have won the Unholy Alliances Tournament but from the backdoor, Miles Stylish jumped him from behind. Harris says he remembered retiring Stylish back at Gold Rush but Stylish is out here, making bullshit excuses. Harris says that he wants a match with Miles Stylish, with both men fresh and ready to go, so there are no excuses but he is number one on his list. The next man is Samoa Joe. Twice, Joe attacked Harris from behind and twice, Harris felt the pain of the Kokina Clutch. Harris says that Joe's undefeated in the ring and Harris respects his record, but he says that undefeated streak might be a distant memory, if Harry Harris gets a match with Joe. Harris says he also wants a match with Samoa Joe, straight up.
"CAW, CAW, CAW!"
Out comes Raven, painfully walking to the ring, after the beating he suffered in the I Quit Match to his legs, it is no surprise. Raven says that he's not out here to challenge Harris or attack him, because that holds no great pleasure for Raven anymore. Raven continues to walk to the ring, saying that he has some wisdom that Harris needs to hear. Raven says that Harris is in fact a part of a conspiracy to keep him away from the NAWA World Title, because management has lost faith in Harris. They have branded him as injury prone given the fact that his two other reigns have ended due to injury. Raven says that they are both in the same boat, because they are kept away from the NAWA World Title, for different reasons. Harris because they don't want a public relations nightmare if their champion suffers a career ending or even life ending injury in the ring. Raven, because he does not fit their mold for champion.
Raven says that Harris is a corporate puppet and not only that, but a puppet of the fans in the crowd. He says that Harris is contributing to his own failure, by the fact that he continues to cater to the fans by putting his already broken down body on the line night after night. Raven says that the fans will cheer Harris when he does something amazing, despite the fact that his body could break down at any minute and then sit on their hands otherwise. The fans are booing Raven but Raven says they are only booing because they know he speaks the truth. Raven says the fans don't care about Harris's livelihood, he is only a tool for their own amusement, just like everyone else in the company. Raven says the fans only sent Harris cards and letters when he was laid up after neck surgery because they wanted to him to get back in the ring and entertain them. Raven says that Harris should not become a martyr for the fans like so many other fallen wrestlers have before him. Raven says the wrestling business is lined with broken bodies, broken lives, broken marriages, before bringing back the fact that Harris was another causality of that last one. He has not seen his daughter in three years because Harris was judged to be an unfit parent due to be mentally unstable and his wife left him in the dust. "All it took to convince the judge was a highlight reel of you throwing yourself off of high places to entertain this rabble. All the Walk Through Hell Matches, all the Hardcore matches, all the Barbed Wire matches, how much was it worth it Harris? Was it worth it to entertain these people?"
Raven also brings up the fact that when Joe destroyed Harris at Unholy Alliances, there were many fans cheering, because they saw Harris being destroyed for their own entertainment. Raven says that's proof that the fans do not give a damn about Harris. Raven talks about how he must do what he must, not because of the fans, but because he needs to be the salvation of this company, of this business, even if it means his end. He has to become the NAWA World Champion and all he needs is one more match with Teddy Hart. Raven says that Harris will never be the champion ever again because he is unwilling to shove the fans to the side and Harris looks thoughtful but he grabs the microphone, talking about how Raven is bitter and spiteful that he doesn't have the belt and he is trying to play mind games with Harris. Harris says that Raven might think himself to be a savior but if he ever brings the personal life of Harris again, he will die for his sins right here, which gets a big pop.
Raven says that's proof right there, all the fans will care about is to see human beings mangled before their very eyes. Raven asks Harris if he wants to become his father, drinking himself to an early death and HARRIS POPS RAVEN RIGHT IN THE MOUTH! Harris has lost it as Raven is being beaten. The fans are going nuts, as Harris has a triangle choke on Raven, trying to choke him out! Security is out, and they restrain Harris, who is about ready to kill Raven right on the air. Out comes Richard Ramos Ricardo, NAWA Commissioner, who announces that next week, Harry Harris will face off against Miles Stylish and Raven will get one last NAWA World Title Shot against Teddy Hart. The fans cheer, as Harris yells that he wants Raven as well but Ricardo denies him, saying that after what happened tonight, he isn't going to put Harris and Raven in a match, because there could be a fatality. Still, Harris will get his match with Stylish next week like he wanted and Raven will get a chance to prove that he only needs one more chance to beat Teddy Hart when the NAWA World Title is on the line. Ricardo adds that this is Raven's absolutely last title shot, so he better make it count. Security escorts both men to the back, as things are settled down.

We take a look at the replay and the fact that Daniels has been knocked out might indicate that Skyhawk had slipped a second wig on when he was on the floor, this one apparently loaded with a foreign object, maybe a piece of metal or something.

Sabin says sooner or later, he will get his match with Bentley and beat his former friend and tag team partner but right now, Sabin has the match of his life, a chance to become the NAWA Television Champion against the undefeated Samoa Joe.
