LMAO. How long before Cheatum the midget shows up? A little surprised to see Dynamite Kid drop his ring name but I suppose he's not much of a kid by this point. "Dynamite" Tom Billington has promise.

WWF Superstars July 23rd, 1994 Ocean City, MD Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The show opened with footage from last week's main event, where Mr. Perfect and Tatanka defeated Scott Steiner and Bam Bam Bigelow in the Golden Dream Tag Team Match. Perfect, who had used questionable tactics to secure the win, then planted Tatanka with the Perfect Plex after the match. Perfect and Tatanka will square off in a singles contest tonight on Superstars, with the winner going on to challenge Razor Ramon for the Intercontinental Title next week.
Before that though, the number one contenders to the WWF Tag Team Championship would be determined in the first-ever Tag Team Turmoil Match. Vince McMahon recapped the rules of this contest which will be contested gauntlet-style. Two teams start the match off, with a new team replacing whoever is eliminated; rinse and repeat until you've gone through six teams.
[Tag Team Turmoil Match 1:] Swiss Bobsleigh Team (Lars and Luca) defeated The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) when Luca pinned Sags after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:06:26. Rating: * 1/2 [Alundra interfered against Jerry Sags.]
The Swiss Bobsleigh Team recorded their second straight victory over the Nasty Boys, but once again it was down to shady tactics. Sags had Luca set up for a pumphandle slam, but Alundra grabbed a hold of Sags' ankle to prevent the move from happening. With Sags distracted, Lars struck him in the back of the head with one of their bobsleigh helmets! Luca then fell on top of Sags for the three count.
The Nasty Boys protested with the officials after the decision, but they were ultimately sent to the back. Friar Ferguson and the Berzerker entered the ring as Tag Team Turmoil continued.
[Tag Team Turmoil Match 2:] Friar Ferguson and The Berzerker defeated Swiss Bobsleigh Team (Lars and Luca) when Ferguson pinned Luca after an inside cradle in 0:04:23. Rating: 3/4*
The Swiss Bobsleigh Team were on course for another win when The Nasty Boys came back out to ringside. Knobbs and Sags grabbed one of the bobsledders' helmets and blew snot into it, sending Lars and Luca into a rage! Friar Ferguson capitalised on the distraction, rolling up Luca for a popular three count!!
Gary Hart then led out his Arabian Butchers for the third match in Tag Team Turmoil, while road agents prevented the Nasty Boys and the Swiss Bobsleigh Team from killing each other.
[Tag Team Turmoil Match 3:] Friar Ferguson and The Berzerker defeated The Arabian Butchers (Manuel and Victor) when Berzerker defeated Victor by countout in 0:03:44. Rating: ** 1/4 [Kimona interfered against The Berzerker.] [Owen Hart interfered against Manuel.] [Owen Hart interfered against Victor.]
The Arabian Butchers wasted no time in taking Friar Ferguson and The Berzerker apart here, flattening them with avalanches in the corners. While Kimona took the referee, the Butchers threw the Berzerker to the outside and peeled back the ringside mats! Manuel and Victor set up the Berzerker for an assisted power bomb but before they could complete the sickening manoeuvre, Owen Hart arrived on the scene swinging a steel chair!! Owen struck the Butchers with a succession of chair shots until the Great Muta made the save for his stablemates! Owen and Muta fought all the way to the back, while the Berzerker rolled back into the ring. The official then counted the Butchers out, giving the Berzerker and Friar Ferguson their second win!!
The result did not sit well with Gary Hart and the Arabian Butchers. Hart sent his henchmen back into the ring, where they assaulted Friar Ferguson and the Berzerker. The Butchers laid out the mad monk with a double spinebuster and then one of the twins connected with a diving legdrop. Manuel and Victor then power bombed the Berzerker and a twin scored with a moonsault from the top rope. Officials and road agents eventually managed to get the Butchers out of the ring, while the Quebecers emerged from the back for the fourth bout. Jacques and Pierre couldn't believe their luck as their opponents lay flat out on the canvas!
[Tag Team Turmoil Match 4:] The Quebecers (Quebecer Jacques and Quebecer Pierre) defeated Friar Ferguson and The Berzerker when Pierre pinned Berzerker with the Cannonball in 0:01:05. Rating: **
As Jimmy Hart jumped around in delight at ringside, Jacques and Pierre quickly got rid of Friar Ferguson and turned their attention to the Berzerker. Jacques launched Pierre off the top rope onto the Berzerker with the Cannonball for the quick pin.
The Quebecers threw The Berzerker out of the ring and readied themselves for the final participants in Tag Team Turmoil. The Smoking Gunns ran out from the back to an incredible ovation and the Quebecers attacked as soon as Billy and Bart hit the ring. The winners of this tag team match will be next in line for a Tag Team Title shot against the Hollywood Blonds!!
[Tag Team Turmoil Match 5:] Number-One-Contenders-Match: The Smoking Gunns (Billy Gunn and Bart Gunn) defeated The Quebecers (Quebecer Jacques and Quebecer Pierre) when Bart Gunn pinned Pierre after the Sidewinder in 0:10:53. Rating: **** [Jimmy Hart interfered against Bart Gunn.]
The Hollywood Blonds were watching on in the back as the Quebecers and the Smoking Gunns took it to each other for ten blistering minutes. Jimmy Hart's interference turned the tide on behalf of the Quebecers and Jacques and Pierre went after Bart Gunn's back. Billy pulled his brother Bart out of harm's way when the Quebecers went for the Cannonball and Pierre ended up winding himself. The Gunns quickly followed up with the Sidewinder and secured a Tag Team Title shot.
While the Smoking Gunns revelled in their victory, the Quebecers had a serious verbal disagreement outside the ring. Pierre got in Jacques' face about the messed-up Cannonball and shoved him to the floor, before storming to the back. Jimmy Hart was doing his level best to diffuse the situation.
Mr. Perfect and Tatanka were shown completing their final preparations in their locker rooms. Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler discussed Perfect's post-match attack on Tatanka following last week's bout. McMahon deemed it unnecessary, while Lawler thought it showed that Perfect is ready to stoop to any depths to get what he wants.
Footage was shown of Shawn Michaels' assault on the Lightning Kid from last week's edition of Monday Night RAW. Michaels dropped the Kid chest-first on the steel steps and then piledrove him on the staircase. The Lightning Kid suffered a stinger as a result of this attack. WWF President Jack Tunney then announced that due to these reprehensible actions by the Heartbreak Kid, and in addition to Michaels pulling out of the Golden Dream Tag Team Match last week, Tunney was keeping HBK off the SummerSlam card. Michaels' recent controversial behaviour has cost him a big payday.
Number-One-Contenders-Match: Mr. Perfect pinned Tatanka with a backslide in 0:14:38. Rating: ****
Early on in this encounter, Mr. Perfect accidentally hiptossed Tatanka out of the ring to ringside. Perfect was chivalrous and opened the ropes for Tatanka to climb back into the ring, garnering a smattering of fans' applause. The two locked up again and seconds later Perfect took a tumble to the outside, this time a deliberate act on the part of Tatanka, who opened the ropes for Perfect to climb back in. An angry Perfect shoved Tatanka and punched him. From this point forward, Tatanka was the face and Perfect the heel in the eyes of the crowd. Tatanka and Perfect proceeded to have a phenomenal bout, with both superstars coming within an eyelash of the victory. Perfect scored near falls off a missile dropkick and a bridging back suplex, while the Native American fired back with a Tomahawk chop off the top rope and a flying cross body press. Tatanka attempted a neckbreaker, but Perfect countered with a backslide. Perfect hooked the rope with his foot for extra leverage and it was enough to keep Tatanka's shoulders down for the three count!
The fans had completely turned on Mr. Perfect after he had blatantly cheated to defeat Tatanka. Tatanka protested with the official afterwards, while Perfect headed back to his dressing room looking extremely pleased with himself. Perfect will now face Razor Ramon for the Intercontinental Title on next week's edition of Superstars!
Circuit information: Razor Ramon will have to be extremely wary next week when he defends his Intercontinental Title against Mr. Perfect, who appears to have returned to his "salty" past. Perfect has had no qualms bending the rules over the last two weeks in order to succeed, even if that has meant screwing over his friend Tatanka in the process. Tatanka was furious with the outcome of his match with Perfect this evening, devastated that he was cheated out of the chance to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship. Perfect, on the other hand, is focused on capturing the title for a third time.
Congratulations to the Smoking Gunns who were victorious tonight in the first ever Tag Team Turmoil Match and earned a Tag Team Title shot against the Hollywood Blonds. We can exclusively confirm that this bout will take place in five weeks at SummerSlam. The Turmoil bout was a tumultuous affair, in which the issue between the Swiss Bobsleigh Team and the Nasty Boys continued and Owen Hart returned, costing the Arabian Butchers their contest with Friar Ferguson and the Berzerker.
Following the show, Quebecer Pierre gave notice. We wish him the best in his future endeavours.
Join us this coming week for Monday Night RAW, where Scott Steiner, Marty Jannetty and Man Mountain Rock are all set for action! Plus, ahead of their WWF Title showdown at SummerSlam, The Undertaker has some words for Big Van Vader! Till then, so long everybody!!

- Well, glad to see the Smoking Gunns finally get a run at the titles. I doubt they are successful, but a Gunns-Blondes match would be a pretty good one.
- Sucks about Pierre. I always liked the Quebecers. Especially Pierre.
- Ramon vs Perfect should be really good. I'd have to imagine that Steiner and Tatanka get involved somehow.
- Glad to see Man Mountain Rock in action on Raw. I wish he had gotten more air time back in the day.

Monday Night RAW July 25th, 1994 Fernwood Resort, Bushkill, PA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Vince McMahon welcomed viewers to the show with the news that The Undertaker would have comments later in the broadcast directed at WWF Champion Big Van Vader regarding their title match at SummerSlam. McMahon also revealed that KimChee was going after Ted DiBiase's bounty when he sends in his man Mantaur to take out Crush tonight!
Scott Steiner pinned Tony DeVito with the SSD in 0:03:06. Rating: * 1/4
Scott Steiner took apart Tony DeVito with ease and put him away with the dangerous Steiner Screwdriver. As DeVito was helped to the back, Tammy Fytch took the mic and addressed Jack Tunney's decision to remove the Beverly Brothers from Tag Team Turmoil last week. Fytch promised that the World Wrestling Federation's conspiracy against Fytch Wrestling Enterprises would fail and soon all her men would hold championship gold!
Marty Jannetty pinned Brian Walsh with the Rocker Dropper in 0:03:51. Rating: ** 1/4
Harvey Wippleman - still sporting the oversized noseguard - wandered out to ringside during Marty Jannetty's match-up. After Jannetty emerged victorious with the Rocker Dropper, Wippleman jumped up onto the apron and got in Jannetty's face. Jannetty began laughing at Wippleman's nose protection, which provoked the puny manager into slapping him! Wippleman sprinted to the back and Jannetty took off after him! However, as Jannetty approached the entrance curtain, he was floored by a huge clothesline from The Warlord! The Warlord dragged the dazed Jannetty back to the ring, while Wippleman's other charges, Adam Bomb and Bam Bam Bigelow, joined proceedings. Warlord, Bomb and Bigelow did a number on Jannetty, before Warlord locked Jannetty in the full nelson. Wippleman talked trash to Jannetty, who was helpless, trapped in the painful submission hold. Warlord effortlessly tossed Jannetty to the mat as Wippleman led his men to the back, pleased with their evening's work.
Another vignette aired promoting the debut of Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly, in which Holly vowed that nobody in the WWF is going to stop Sparky Plugg! Holly will make his debut next week on Monday Night RAW.
Crush pinned Mantaur after a powerslam in 0:03:14. Rating: 1/4*
KimChee's dreams of becoming $50,000 richer were dashed by Crush, who made short work of Mantaur. Crush overwhelmed the man from Crete with a succession of bodyslams and then pinned Mantaur with a powerslam. The Pennsylvania crowd absolutely love the big Hawaiian.
Ted DiBiase, who had watched the previous contest in his private locker room, was shown shaking his head in disgust.
Man Mountain Rock made Phil Apollo submit to the Whammy Bar in 0:02:56. Rating: 1/2*
Man Mountain Rock chalked up another victory this evening as he made Phil Apollo give up to the Whammy Bar. However, as he prepared to celebrate his win by playing his electric guitar, he was interrupted by "Double J" Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett objected to Rock's music talents and said his guitar playing sounded like cats screeching! Jarrett revealed that on Monday Night RAW in two weeks' time, he will be performing his brand new single, "With My Baby Tonight", live! Jarrett invited Man Mountain Rock along so he could listen to some proper music for a change, as Rock looked on in disbelief!
Mr. Perfect cut a promo ahead of his Intercontinental Championship Match with champion Razor Ramon this weekend on Superstars. Perfect addressed the complaints regarding his recent change of attitude. Perfect claimed that he had tried to be a nice guy, but it had gotten him nowhere. He stated that he received no title shots in the last 18 months and it had been time for a change. Perfect admitted that it felt good to bend the rules again and it will feel even better when he becomes Intercontinental Champion for the third time this weekend.
Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan discussed the Intercontinental Title Match between Razor Ramon and Mr. Perfect. Heenan said that he was starting to remember why he used to like Perfect!
Great Muta pinned Kevin Kelly with the Moonsault Press in 0:05:45. Rating: **
Kevin Kelly was not intimidated by the rest of Black Friday Management surrounding the ring as he took the fight to the Great Muta. However, Muta has been on a roll as of late and Kelly had no answer to Muta's explosive execution. Muta sent Kelly to the floor with an enzuigiri and then nailed him with a plancha. Back in the ring, Muta scored with a handspring elbow and finished Kelly with the moonsault.
Owen Hart made his way out after the match, microphone in hand. The Arabian Butchers, still mad that Owen had cost them their spot in Tag Team Turmoil this past weekend on Superstars, started to go after him, but Gary Hart held them back. Hart was intrigued as to what the Rocket had to say. Owen was infuriated that Black Friday Management had made a statement at his expense when they first appeared in the WWF and as payback, he wanted at match with the Great Muta at SummerSlam. Gary Hart warned Owen to be careful what he wishes for. Owen smiled and said he would consider that to be a "yes".
The show closed with footage of The Undertaker and Paul Bearer in a graveyard. The Deadman said that the reckoning will soon be upon us and darkness will seize the land. 'Taker vowed to strip Big Van Vader of what he holds dear and devour his soul. He said that he is the reaper of men, the chaser of souls, the weaver of nightmares and the heart of darkness. The Undertaker warned Vader that for the Mastodon, there is no mercy, no hope and no escape!
Circuit information: Mr. Perfect has been a frustrated man as of late. His loss to Barry Windham at WrestleMania and his failure to progress beyond the quarter finals in the WWF Title Tournament at the King of the Ring have hit him hard, the consequences of which have seen him revert to the rule-breaking Perfect from the early 90s. Perfect feels that this new demeanour will help his career reach the heights of several years ago, starting with capturing the Intercontinental Championship from Razor Ramon on Superstars. Find out if he is successful by tuning in this weekend!
Another embittered personality is Tammy Fytch, who is protesting to anybody who will listen that WWF management is trying to hold back her stable, Fytch Wrestling Enterprises. Fytch feels aggrieved that Scott Steiner was not named the number one contender to the Intercontinental Title despite defeating champion Razor Ramon at the King of the Ring and she was angered further when WWF President Jack Tunney pulled the Beverly Brothers from Tag Team Turmoil as punishment for two brutal attacks on the Headshrinkers.
Mantaur was unsuccessful in claiming the bounty placed on the head of Crush by the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. DiBiase has been left exasperated by the efforts of the superstars who have tried to take Crush out so far. Who will be next to try and make themselves $50,000 richer?
Jeff Jarrett interrupted Man Mountain Rock's post-match celebrations in order to excitedly announce that his live singing debut is set to take place in two weeks on Monday Night RAW. Tennessee Lee claims that Double J is the world's greatest singer and with the Ain't I Great Tour in full swing, Jarrett will have the chance to display his singing talents to the world.
Harvey Wippleman gained a measure of revenge on Marty Jannetty this evening as he led his stable in a three-on-one beatdown on the former Rocker. Wippleman blames Jannetty for disfiguring him and breaking his nose and Bam Bam Bigelow, Adam Bomb and the Warlord really put a hurting on Jannetty as payback. Jannetty was checked out by doctors after the show and thankfully no long term damage was done.
Speaking of Harvey Wippleman's group, Adam Bomb has viewed the Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly vignettes with interest and has challenged the newcomer for next week. We can confirm that the match is now official and Holly will have his work cut out as he faces the Creation of Devastation in his debut match. Bomb has vowed to ensure that Sparky Plugg's career hits the skids on the very first corner!
Owen Hart is proving to be a thorn in the side of Black Friday Management and has challenged Great Muta to a match at SummerSlam. Sources close to Black Friday suggest that Gary Hart considers the Rocket to be a "minor irritation". However, this match-up - which has the potential to be a show stealer - is yet to be confirmed for the hottest night of the summer.
Don't miss Superstars this weekend where, in addition to the Intercontinental Title Match between Razor Ramon and Mr. Perfect, exciting young Canadians The Thrillseekers will make their long-awaited debut! Till then, so long everybody!!

WWF Superstars July 30th, 1994 Ocean City, MD Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The show opened with a promo from Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon, ahead of his title defence against Mr. Perfect in the main event of the show. Ramon talked about Perfect's recent attitude change, in which Perfect has showed that he is willing to stab friends in the back and stoop to any level to get what he wants. Razor remarked that while this makes Perfect very dangerous, there is only one Bad Guy in the WWF. Ramon closed by warning Perfect that if he wants the gold, then he's got a fight tonight!
The Birdman pinned Tim McNeany with the One Fell Swoop in 0:04:26. Rating: 3/4*
The bizarre Birdman dominated his opponent with headbutts and a flying dropkick, before laying him out with a brain buster. That was the setup for his One Feel Swoop springboard diving headbutt, which was enough for the count of three.
After the contest, WWF Hardcore Champion Duke "The Dumpster" Droese marched out to ringside. Droese was the victim of a bird attack two weeks ago on Superstars and cuts and scratches were still clearly visible on The Dumpster's face and arms. Droese attacked the Birdman as he left the ring and the two men fought to the back!
Big Boss Man pinned Larry Croy with the Boss Man Slam in 0:03:15. Rating: * 3/4
Backstage, Duke Droese and The Birdman were still fighting! The Birdman side-stepped a charge from Droese and the garbageman collided hard with a garage door!! The Birdman then lifted Droese over his shoulder and hoisted him into a giant dumpster! The Birdman called out and almost instantly a flock of birds flew into the dumpster, attacking Droese!! The Birdman cackled as Droese dragged himself out of the dumpster and fled from the bloodthirsty flock!
Footage was shown of the Nasty Boys' two recent defeats to the Swiss Bobsleigh Team. Knobbs and Sags challenged Lars and Luca to one more match next week with the stipulation that if the Nasties lose, they will leave the World Wrestling Federation!! Knobbs threatened to whoop Lars and Luca's Swiss cheese butts all the way back to Switzerland.
The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated Reno Riggins and Chris Duffy when L. Storm pinned C. Duffy after the Sudden Impact in 0:05:35. Rating: ** 1/4
The charismatic, exciting young team of Chris Jericho and Lance Storm, The Thrillseekers, were on fire tonight in their WWF debut. Their opponents had no answer to Storm and Jericho's high-flying, high-risk manoeuvres and went down to a picture-perfect top-rope double dropkick. The fans were going wild for the Thrillseekers!
Gene Okerlund presented the first SummerSlam report ahead of the pay-per-view on August 29th. Okerlund introduced footage of the Smoking Gunns' victory in Tag Team Turmoil last week on Superstars, which has earned them a Tag Team Title shot at SummerSlam. WWF Tag Team Champions The Hollywood Blonds then cut a promo, claiming that they were not worried about the challenge of the Gunns. Steve Austin said that defeating the cowboys would be the next step to immortality for the tag team of the 90s!
Razor Ramon pinned Mr. Perfect after an inside cradle in 0:13:16. Rating: *** 1/4 (Razor Ramon retained the WWF Intercontinental Title.)
Razor Ramon controlled this encounter in the early going, but Mr. Perfect turned the tide by raking The Bad Guy's eyes. Perfect worked over Ramon's neck, but Ramon managed to fight out of a neck vice and punished Perfect with a fallaway slam. Ramon tried to put Perfect away with the Razor's Edge, but Perfect slid out of the hold and shoved Ramon into the referee! Ramon appeared to strike heads with the official and with the Intercontinental Champion dazed, Perfect rolled outside and grabbed a steel chair! Perfect measured up the Bad Guy and prepared to take a swing, but Tatanka ran out from the back and snatched the chair out of Perfect's hands!! Perfect and Tatanka argued on the ring apron as Ramon began to stir. Perfect punched Tatanka off the ring apron, but was then rolled up by Ramon as the referee recovered in time to count the fall! Razor Ramon retains the Intercontinental Championship!!
As Razor Ramon celebrated another successful title defence, a furious Mr. Perfect went after Tatanka. Tatanka was waiting for him though and grabbed a hold of Perfect's legs, dragging him out of the ring! Perfect and Tatanka traded blows on the outside as the locker room emptied in an attempt to separate the two men. Tatanka and Perfect were embroiled in a frenetic pull-apart brawl as Superstars went off-air!
Circuit information: The feud between former friends Mr. Perfect and Tatanka has been getting more and more heated with each passing week. At the climax of tonight's show, the dispute boiled over and the two men had to be separated by a group of wrestlers, road agents and officials. Tatanka decided to interject himself in Perfect's Intercontinental Championship Match with Razor Ramon when Perfect tried to use a steel chair on the champion. Perfect had taken several shortcuts at the expense of the Native American in order to secure this title shot, but Tatanka wasn't about to sit back and let Perfect screw the Bad Guy out of the gold. However, Perfect now blames Tatanka for his failure to land a third Intercontinental Championship. WWF President Jack Tunney needs to act quickly in order to settle this conflict before somebody gets seriously hurt.
Duke Droese had to be treated for lacerations after the show as he suffered his second bird attack at the hands of The Birdman. The Birdman has made it clear that he wants Droese's Hardcore Title and he certainly has the Dumpster's undivided attention now.
The Thrillseekers exploded into the tag team division of the WWF this evening with an action-packed debut full of jaw-dropping aerial moves. Chris Jericho and Lance Storm remind a lot of fans of the magic that the Rockers once had and there is no reason why they cannot go on to be just as successful.
While one team's WWF career is just beginning, another may be drawing to a close. If the Nasty Boys lose next week against the Swiss Bobsleigh Team, they are done with the company! Lars and Luca would love nothing more to send the Nasties packing and the stakes couldn't be higher on next week's show!
Before that though, tune in to Monday Night RAW this week where the number one contenders to the Tag Team Titles, the Smoking Gunns, will be in action. Billy and Bart will be keen to continue their momentum heading into SummerSlam. Also, two sport superstar Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly makes his debut and he couldn't have a tougher opponent as he goes one-on-one with the Creation of Devastation, Adam Bomb! If that's not enough, we'll find out which superstar will be next to try and claim Ted DiBiase's bounty by taking out Crush! Till then, so long everybody!!

Monday Night RAW August 1st, 1994 Beeghly Center, Youngstown, OH Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
The show opened with Scotty Flamingo standing in the centre of the ring with a mic. Flamingo called out Crush so that he could attempt to claim Ted DiBiase's $50,000 bounty by taking out the big Hawaiian. Flamingo was planning to organise the world's biggest pool party with the cash! Crush was only too happy to oblige.
Crush pinned Scotty Flamingo after the Hawaiian Smasher in 0:03:38. Rating: * 3/4
Crush cut through Scotty Flamingo quickly here tonight and in truth Flamingo never looked like he had a prayer of going home $50,000 richer. Crush nailed Flamingo with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, then hoisted him up onto his shoulders and drilled him with the match-winning Hawaiian Smasher.
An exasperated Ted DiBiase threw his hands up in disgust backstage and headed out to the arena as the show cut to commercial!
When Monday Night RAW returned, Ted DiBiase was at ringside, ready to confront Crush. DiBiase said that he was sick and tired of watching people fail to take out the big Hawaiian. The Million Dollar Man said that next week he was sending someone to take out Crush who he knows will get the job done - himself!! Crush told DiBiase to bring it, but the Million Dollar Man stormed off to the back!
Backstage, Gene Okerlund interviewed Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly, who makes his debut tonight. Holly acknowledged that he has his work cut out against Adam Bomb later in the show, but said he was up to the challenge and would go full throttle to ensure he kicked off his WWF career with a win!
The Smoking Gunns (Billy Gunn and Bart Gunn) defeated Mike Bell and Derek Domino when Bart Gunn pinned D. Domino after the Sidewinder in 0:05:27. Bart Gunn injured his right knee. He will be out for approximately 2 months. Rating: **
After the match, The Smoking Gunns were attacked by their SummerSlam opponents, WWF Tag Team Champions The Hollywood Blonds! Steve Austin and Brian Pillman laid out the Gunns and then destroyed their cowboy hats to add further insult to injury.
Friar Ferguson was out ready to present another edition of his interview segment, The Sermon. However, before he had the chance to introduce his guest, Black Friday Management made their way out. Gary Hart threatened the mad monk if he didn't leave and with Great Muta and the Arabian Butchers as back up, Ferguson thought better of it and blessed the group before he left. Gary Hart addressed Owen Hart's challenge to the Great Muta and accepted on behalf of Muta, saying that the bout would take place at SummerSlam and adding that a great general knows when to choose his battles. Hart chillingly warned the Rocket that every war has its casualties. Before Gary Hart could continue, the crowd rose to their feet as Friar Ferguson returned to the ring, but this time he had Owen Hart and the Berzerker by his side. The trio sent Black Friday Management packing, much to the delight of the fans! Gary Hart convinced his men to retreat and warned that they will strike down the three men in the ring when the time is right!
Jeff Jarrett pinned P.J. Walker after a DDT in 0:06:35. Rating: * 3/4
The story of this match-up was that young P.J. Walker came close to scoring a huge upset win over Jeff Jarrett on several occasions. Walker picked up near falls with a Frankensteiner, a flying bulldog and a twisting bodypress. Despite putting in a wonderful gutsy effort, Walker fell to a vicious DDT from Double J.
After the bout, Vince McMahon put over the tremendous performance from P.J. Walker. Bobby Heenan surmised that the only reason Walker looked good tonight was because Jeff Jarrett has his mind on other things, namely his live singing debut next week on Monday Night RAW.
The show returned with footage from three weeks ago when Shawn Michaels injured the Lightning Kid with a piledriver on the steel steps. It was partly due to this sickening assault that WWF President Jack Tunney punished Michaels by keeping him off the SummerSlam card. The Heartbreak Kid then made his way out to the ring wearing a suit and accompanied by Liz, who had a bag in her hand. Michaels took the mic and invited the Lightning Kid out to the ring, as he had something to say to him. Lightning Kid, who is still feeling the effects of the piledriver, cautiously walked down to the ring. The Kid rubbed his neck as Michaels humbly apologised for his actions. HBK said that he had got caught up in the moment and it was unacceptable. To show how sincere he was, Michaels said that he had gotten the Kid a gift. Michaels took the bag from Liz and presented it to the Lightning Kid. The Kid opened the bag and looked disgusted when he pulled out a packet of twinkles!! Michaels and Liz burst out laughing and HBK started cracking jokes regarding the Kid's youthful appearance! The Kid threw the twinkles down and went after Michaels, but he and Liz bailed out, still cackling. Michaels' expression changed quickly though when Razor Ramon emerged from the back! Ramon forced Michaels back into the ring, where the Lightning Kid unloaded with a barrage of kicks in the corner! The crowd exploded as the Kid took the twinkies and shoved them in Michaels' face!! Razor and the Kid celebrated while a humiliated Shawn Michaels stumbled to the back, wiping delicious vanilla cream from his face!
Bob Holly pinned Adam Bomb after an inside cradle in 0:06:12. Rating: **
NASCAR driver turned wrestler Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly used his speed to get the better of Adam Bomb in the early-going of his WWF debut, but Bomb managed to cut him off and dominate with power moves. Holly came back with a beautiful dropkick, but missed a diving kneedrop off the top rope that he calls the Fender Bender. Bomb set Holly up for the Atom Smasher, but was distracted by Marty Jannetty coming down to ringside and getting involved with the Warlord. The Creation of Devastation was about to interject himself as Jannetty and the Warlord fought outside the ring, but he was caught in a roll-up by Holly for the three count!! Bob Holly defeats Adam Bomb in his WWF debut!!
The crowd came unglued at the shock win, but their delight turned to disgust as Adam Bomb floored Bob Holly with a lariat. Bam Bam Bigelow then hit the ring and he joined his stablemates Bomb and the Warlord in beating down Holly and Marty Jannetty, while Harvey Wippleman directed traffic. Bomb laid out Holly with the Atom Smasher, while Bigelow and Warlord launched Jannetty out of the ring with a double military press slam!! The show closed with Harvey Wippleman standing triumphant alongside his men in the centre of the ring.
Circuit information: I don't think anybody thought for a second that Shawn Michaels' apology to the Lightning Kid tonight was anything other than disingenuous. Michaels was clearly only out to embarrass the Kid, but one man who wasn't about to let this happen to his friend was Razor Ramon. Thanks to the Bad Guy it was the Heartbreak Kid who ended up embarrassed, much to the joy of the fans in attendance!
On the subject of the Lightning Kid, he is scheduled to return to action following his neck injury shortly.
Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly pulled off an upset when he defeated Adam Bomb in his debut match, but it was a brawl on the outside of the ring between Marty Jannetty and the Warlord that caused the Creation of Devastation to take his eye off the ball. Jannetty had been beaten down by Harvey Wippleman's stable last week and was out to get some retribution. However, it was Wippleman who had the last laugh as Bomb, Warlord and Bam Bam Bigelow laid out Jannetty and Holly. We can exclusively reveal that a tag team match has been set up for next week on Monday Night RAW, which will see Jannetty and Holly team up to do battle with the formidable team of Bomb and Bigelow!
Scotty Flamingo was the latest in a growing line of unsuccessful bounty hunters tonight as Crush brushed him aside with ease, much to the chagrin of Ted DiBiase. The Million Dollar Man has decided to do his own dirty work as he faces Crush one-on-one on next week's show!
Great Muta vs Owen Hart is official for SummerSlam. This could be the sleeper match of the show.
The Hollywood Blonds sent a message to the challengers for their Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam, the Smoking Gunns, by assaulting Billy and Bart after their match tonight and stomping on their cowboy hats. There are unconfirmed reports that Bart Gunn suffered a knee injury in the attack - stay tuned for more information.
Here's how the card is shaping up so far for SummerSlam, which we'll be bringing to you from the brand new United Center in Chicago, Illinois, live on pay-per-view on August 29th!!
WWF Championship Match Big Van Vader vs The Undertaker

Plus, in a tag team attraction, the Nasty Boys square off against the Swiss Bobsleigh Team and remember, if the Nasties are defeated, they will leave the World Wrestling Federation! Till then, so long everybody!!

You continue to provide the goods in your circuit. It really captures the feel of the WWF around this time. Nobody feels like they are being pushed beyond where they should be or being jobbed out just because they aren't a favorite of people on the net.
I continue to salute one of the better feds I've ever read.

Wonder if Bart Gunn's knee injury will cause problems with the Gunns-Blondes title match at Summerslam?
Wippleman Stands Triumphant = ugh. He definitely was the kind of character you wanted to see pummeled. I look forward to the day when he pisses off Adam Bomb, leading to a great deal of pain for Wippleman. But in the meantime, we have an inequality of things: Jannetty and Holly vs Warlord, Bomb, and Bigelow. We need a face to step up...
Nice segment with Gary Hart. Possibly sets up a Berserker/Ferguson vs Arabian Butchers match at Summerslam?

WWF Superstars August 6th, 1994 Ocean City, MD Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The show opened with promos from Tatanka and Scott Steiner ahead of their bout in the main event of tonight's edition of Superstars.
Tom Billington pinned David Thornberg with the Diving Dynamite Headbutt in 0:03:18 . Rating: * 3/4
After the match, Tom Billington took the mic and said that after running Davey Boy Smith out of the WWF, he had still one other objective he wanted to achieve. Billingham complained that he was sick and tired of hearing about how Smith was a former Intercontinental Champion and claimed that he was more than capable of holding singles gold in the company. Billington challenged Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon to put the title on the line against him. Dynamite promised that when he wins the title, he will defend the strap against his stablemate Scott Steiner, unlike Ramon who Billington claimed was ducking Steiner. Billington said that he and Steiner would treat the world to a mat classic.
Bob Backlund was going out for revenge tonight against Bad News Brown. Footage was shown of Bad News' return from suspension several weeks ago, where Brown interrupted Backlund's match and attacked the former WWF Champion.
Bad News Brown pinned Bob Backlund with the Ghetto Blaster in 0:04:14. Rating: ** 1/4
After the match, Bad News Brown hurled Bob Backlund out of the ring and then rolled out, grabbed the timekeeper's chair and returned to the squared circle with it. Brown sat down and refused to leave until Jack Tunney came out to speak with him! Brown said that there would be no more matches tonight until the WWF President explained why he had overlooked Bad News as of late. The fans were jeering Bad News incessantly, upset that he had in effect taken the show hostage. Big Boss Man's music hit and the law man from Cobb County, Georgia, who had a match scheduled up next, made his entrance. Boss Man sprinted down to the ring swinging his nightstick, which forced Bad News to flee! Boss Man gave Brown a warning as Bad News stormed to the back!
Big Boss Man pinned The Intruder with the Boss Man Slam in 0:01:16. Rating: * 1/4
After the Big Boss Man chalked up a quick victory, Bad News Brown returned to ringside and seized possession of the Boss Man's nightstick! Brown clobbered Boss Man from behind as the former corrections officer read the poor Intruder his rights! Bad News began choking Boss Man out with his own nightstick and talked trash while Boss Man coughed and spluttered. Referees and road agents tried to enter the ring, but Bad News threatened them with the stick. Bad News Brown then left the squared circle, still in a foul mood but also still in control of the nightstick.
Footage aired of the Swiss Bobsleigh Team's previous two controversial victories over The Nasty Boys. If Lars and Luca can secure another win over the Nasties tonight, then Knobbs and Sags are done with the WWF.
Swiss Bobsleigh Team (Lars and Luca) defeated The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) when Luca pinned Sags in 0:06:14. Rating: * 1/2
The Nasty Boys had victory in their sights when they drilled Luca with the Trip to Nastyville. However, while Lars distracted the official, Alundra entered the ring and scratched at Sags' eyes, who was covering the prone Luca. Knobbs grabbed Alundra by the hair and much to the fans' delight, Alundra was subjected to the Pit Stop!! As the referee attempted to eject the hysterical Alundra from the ring, Lars nailed Knobbs and Sags with a couple of stiff shots from the bobsleigh helmet! Lars then dragged the legal man Luca on top of Sags for the three count!!
Lars and Luca celebrated with their trademark gusto after the match, while Alundra seemed more concerned with washing her face!
Scott Steiner defeated Tatanka with a belly-to-belly superplex in 0:09:58. Rating: *** 1/4 [Mr. Perfect interfered against Tatanka.]
Tatanka ascended the turnbuckles in order to finish off Scott Steiner when Mr. Perfect decided to wander out from the back. Tatanka pointed at him and warned him to stay back, but as soon as Tammy Fytch distracted the official Perfect threw his towel in the Native American's face!! Tatanka lost his balance on the top rope and Scott Steiner took full advantage, sending the Native American crashing to the mat with an incredible overhead belly-to-belly suplex off the top turnbuckle! Steiner then covered for the three count and secured a huge victory for himself.
After the match, Mr. Perfect spat his gum in Tatanka's face. The show closed with a gloating Mr. Perfect standing triumphant over the Native American.
Circuit information: Scott Steiner scored a gigantic win tonight on Superstars over the former Intercontinental Champion Tatanka. Steiner may have had some assistance from Mr. Perfect to get the job done, but nobody can deny that Steiner has been on fire since entering the Federation's singles ranks and hooking up with Fytch Wrestling Enterprises. WWF officials are quick to reward good work and the title shot that Steiner craves so much could be just around the corner.
Mr. Perfect felt that Tatanka cost him his chance of winning the Intercontinental Title last week and tonight he decided to cost the Native American his match with Scott Steiner. The feud between these former friends hots up with each passing week and with each superstar now getting involved in the other's matches, this situation needs to be resolved as soon as possible.
After the show, Tom Billington moved quickly to dispel murmurs of dissention within Fytch Wrestling Enterprises by awarding the first Intercontinental Title shot to his stablemate, Scott Steiner. Billington has promised to treat the world to a mat classic when he and Steiner lock up. But hang on a second - isn't Dynamite getting a bit ahead of himself? Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon hasn't even accepted Billington's challenge yet!!
The comical Swiss Bobsleigh Team proved tonight that they are not to be taken lightly as they ended the WWF careers of former Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys by recording their third straight victory over Knobbs and Sags.
Bad News Brown decided to hold up tonight's show in order to vent his frustrations with the company, but normal service was resumed when the Big Boss Man showed up and sent Brown on his way. An angered Bad News returned later in the show and assaulted the Boss Man with the former corrections officer's own nightstick. Luckily, the Boss Man was not seriously injured in the attack and when questioned after the show, Boss Man promised to bring Bad News to justice.
Make sure you tune in to Monday Night RAW this coming week, which will feature the live singing debut of "Double J" Jeff Jarrett!! Jarrett will perform his new hit single, "With My Baby Tonight", live on the show and we will all have the chance to judge if he really is as good a singer and entertainer as he brags he is! Also on the show, Adam Bomb and Bam Bam Bigelow face Marty Jannetty and Bob Holly in tag team action, WWF Tag Team Champions The Hollywood Blonds will be the guests on the King's Court, plus Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase has vowed to take out Crush! Till then, so long everybody!!

I'm not sure where you are going with Tom Billington, Scott Steiner, and Razor Ramon. I can't see you causing too much dissention in Fytch Wrestling Enterprises just yet. I'm looking foward to where this goes.
Big Boss Man should be some good fodder for Bad News Brown. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Boss Man get a little more air time. He deserves a little feud of some kind so I'm happy to see him get it here against Brown.

Monday Night RAW August 8th, 1994 Beeghly Center, Youngstown, OH Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
The show opened with a determined Crush standing in the centre of the ring. Crush called out the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, saying that it was time to finish things between them. Crush added that all the nonsense with the bounty ends tonight and he demanded that DiBiase come out and face him one-on-one, man to man! The Million Dollar Man's music hit and DiBiase made his way down the aisle. DiBiase began slowly removing his gold-studded suit outside the ring while Crush fired himself up, ready for war. DiBiase then began cackling that trademark evil laugh. A confused Crush turned around straight into a big boot from the returning Barry Windham, Ted DiBiase's bodyguard! Windham had been sidelined as a result of an elbow injury suffered at the hands of Crush just over a month ago and he was back for revenge tonight! DiBiase dragged Crush back to his feet and held him in place for a vicious lariat by The Widowmaker! Windham then removed some of the protective padding at ringside and drove Crush down onto the concrete with a gutwrench suplex! Officials and road agents managed to get Windham and DiBiase away from the scene. Crush required assistance in returning to the backstage area.
Backstage, "Double J" Jeff Jarrett was preparing for his live singing debut. Jarrett was gargling water and making sure that his throat was in good condition.
Gene Okerlund presented another SummerSlam report in which he revealed that a singles match between Tatanka and Mr. Perfect had been signed for the pay-per-view. This was followed by a promo from Tatanka in which the Native American admitted that he had made a mistake when he underestimated the depths Perfect was willing to go to win a match. Tatanka vowed to not make the same mistake at SummerSlam.
Adam Bomb and Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Bob Holly and Marty Jannetty when A. Bomb pinned Jannetty with the Atom Smasher in 0:11:17. Rating: *** 1/4 [Harvey Wippleman interfered against Marty Jannetty.]
The team of Bob Holly and Marty Jannetty used their superior speed and quickness to frustrate their larger, much powerful opponents. However, Adam Bomb and Bam Bam Bigelow managed to isolate Holly from his partner and punish him. Bomb was particularly vicious towards Sparky Plugg after his embarrassing defeat last week. Holly and Jannetty fought back though, with Sparky Plugg taking out Bigelow at ringside with a plancha. Jannetty went to the top rope to finish off Bomb, but Harvey Wippleman interfered and grabbed his foot. Jannetty kicked him off but the delay was to prove costly as he missed the subsequent flying fistdrop. Bomb then planted Jannetty with the Atom Smasher for the three count.
After the match, Adam Bomb demanded that The Warlord and Bam Bam Bigelow bring Bob Holly back into the ring for more punishment. Bomb gave Holly the Atom Smasher and then dragged him back up for another. However, a chair-swinging Max Moon brought the beatdown to an end and sent Harvey Wippleman's men packing!
In the back, Jeff Jarrett was chatting to his backing singers, reassuring them and telling them not to be nervous.
Footage was shown of Tom Billington's challenge to Razor Ramon from this past weekend on Superstars. Razor Ramon then cut a promo on Billington in which he accepted the challenge and said he would defend the Intercontinental Title against him this weekend on Superstars. Ramon promised that Scott Steiner will think twice about challenging The Bad Guy again when he sees what he does to his stablemate!
WWF Tag Team Champions the Hollywood Blonds were the guests this week on the King's Court. With Jerry Lawler relaxing on his throne and Steve Austin and Brian Pillman sat in their custom-made director's chairs, the three men gloated over the Blonds' attack on the Smoking Gunns last week where they destroyed Billy and Bart's cowboy hats. The Gunns came out to interrupt proceedings and addressed the Blonds' claims that the aren't scared of the Gunns. Billy Gunn said that if this is the case, then why attack them from behind last week? Billy added that Austin and Pillman are the ones that should be scared, as the Gunns are going to take their titles at SummerSlam! Billy and Bart then hit the ring and brawl broke out, in which the Gunns sent the Tag Team Champions out of the ring. The Gunns turned their attention to the director's chairs and smashed them into pieces, leaving the Blonds horrified!
In the arena, Jeff Jarrett's roadie did a final mic check before Double J's live singing debut, which was scheduled after the break.
Tennessee Lee introduced Jeff Jarrett onto the stage for the live performance of his hit single, "With My Baby Tonight". Jarrett was greeted by a chorus of boos as he strutted up to the mic. Double J said he would show why he is considered to be the world's greatest singer and the world's greatest entertainer. Jarrett said he proved everyone wrong who said he couldn't make it as a country music star. Double J checked with his roadie that everything was in place before preparing to sing. Jarrett started to grow frustrated with the negative reaction he was getting and demanded for quiet so that he could begin singing. The boos grew louder, while Jarrett again ordered silence! Vince McMahon thought that Double J was stalling. Finally, the band started to play, but before Jarrett had the chance to sing his first note, he was cut off by the strains of an electric guitar! Man Mountain Rock had appeared in the arena and he was rocking the house!! Jarrett and Tennessee Lee were apoplectic with rage!! Jarrett stormed off the stage in fury while Rock continued to thrill the crowd with his guitar playing!!
Circuit information: "The Widowmaker" Barry Windham returned tonight on Monday Night RAW, jumping Crush before the big Hawaiian's match with Ted DiBiase could get underway. It was Crush who had put Windham on the shelf with an elbow injury over a month ago and ever since then the Million Dollar Man had offered up $50,000 to anyone who could take out Crush as revenge for DiBiase's bodyguard getting injured. Frustrated with watching superstar after superstar fail to collect, DiBiase decided to get the job done himself and challenged Crush to a match. However, it all a set-up for the return of The Widowmaker, and he and Windham brutally assaulted Crush on this evening's show. Crush suffered some nasty bruising to his hip but thankfully there was no internal damage done.
Another man in the wars is Bart Gunn. Bart injured his knee on last week's show and he aggravated the injury in the Smokin' Gunns' scuffle with the Hollywood Blonds tonight. Bart is confident that he will be ready to go when the Gunns challenge the Blonds for the Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam.
Interference from Harvey Wippleman helped his men Adam Bomb and Bam Bam Bigelow chalk up a victory tonight over Marty Jannetty and Bob Holly. However, as The Warlord joined Bomb and Bigelow in inflicting more damage after the bell, Max Moon hit the ring to make the save.
It was supposed to be the greatest night of Jeff Jarrett's life, but tonight his long-awaited live singing debut was ruined by Man Mountain Rock. It is well known in the locker room that Jarrett's comments about Rock's style of music did not go down well with the man who hails from the State of Euphoria and this evening Man Mountain Rock decided to give Double J a special performance up-close!
Here's how the card is shaping up so far for SummerSlam, which we'll be bringing to you from the brand new United Center in Chicago, Illinois, live on pay-per-view on August 29th!!

WWF Superstars August 13th, 1994 Civic Center, Wheeling, WV Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The show opened with comments from Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon and "Dynamite" Tom Billington, along with Tammy Fytch. The Intercontinental Title is on the line in our main event tonight!
Black Friday Management (Great Muta, Manuel and Victor) defeated Friar Ferguson, Owen Hart and The Berzerker when Manuel pinned Berzerker after a spinebuster slam in 0:08:35. Rating: *** 1/4 [Gary Hart and Kimona interfered against Owen Hart.]
This week's edition of Superstars got off to a wild start with this six man tag team contest. Late in the bout, Owen Hart and the Great Muta - who are set to face off at SummerSlam in just over two weeks - brawled down the aisle, which distracted the official from events going on inside the ring. The Berzerker knocked legal man Victor out of the squared circle with a boot to the head, but the Arabian Butchers pulled a switcheroo and Manuel rocked the Berzerker with a spinebuster for the pin.
Owen Hart and the Great Muta had to be separated backstage.
Gene Okerlund presented a SummerSlam report in which he announced that Crush will battle Barry Windham in a Stretcher Match at the pay-per-view. In this particular match type, there are no disqualifications, pinfalls, count-outs or submissions. The only way to win is to beat your opponent until the other man can no longer fight back. The wrestler must then place their opponent onto an ambulance gurney and push the gurney out of the arena.
The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated Duane Gill and Tom Alton when L. Storm pinned Cleric after the Sudden Impact in 0:04:12. Rating: ** 1/2
The fans in attendance - especially the teenage girls - went wild for the Thrillseekers tonight as they chalked up another victory. Lance Storm and Chris Jericho were on fire and scored the pin with their beautiful double dropkick.
Alundra cut a backstage promo on behalf of her men, the Swiss Bobsleigh Team. She said that Lars and Luca were focussing on capturing championship gold now that they had gotten rid of the Nasty Boys. Alundra said that her men are used to having gold around their necks and now they want it around their waists!
Footage was shown of Man Mountain Rock's surprise appearance on Monday Night RAW, in which he interrupted Jeff Jarrett's live singing debut with an unannounced electric guitar solo! Tennessee Lee then cut a promo on Rock, accusing him of humiliating Double J and ruining the biggest night of Jarrett's life! Lee warned that Jarrett would make Rock pay dearly.
Razor Ramon defeated Tom Billington via pinfall in 0:14:46. Rating: *** 3/4 (Razor Ramon retained the WWF Intercontinental Title.) [Tammy Fytch interfered against Razor Ramon.] [Davey Boy Smith interfered against Tom Billington.]
This was a cracking contest in which a determined Tom Billington threw everything at Razor Ramon in the hope of winning his first singles title in the WWF. Dynamite earned near falls with a missile dropkick, a flying kneedrop and a superplex while Ramon came back with a bulldog and a fallaway slam. After a ref bump, Ramon set Billington up for the Razor's Edge but before he could complete the move, Tammy Fytch blinded the Bad Guy with hair spray! Billington took advantage, decking Ramon with a headbutt and ascending the turnbuckles in preparation for the Diving Dynamite Headbutt. However, Davey Boy Smith chose this moment to make his return, punching Billington in the gut and powerslamming him off the top rope! Tammy Fytch was having a fit at ringside as Ramon slowly crawled over and covered Dynamite for the win!
After the match, Tom Billington attempted to go after Davey Boy Smith in the aisle, but the former Tag Team Champions were separated by a posse of officials. Back in the ring, Razor Ramon was still struggling with his eyesight as he slowly clambered back to his feet. Scott Steiner then sneaked into the ring out of nowhere and clobbered Ramon with a stiff Steinerline!! Steiner stood over the Bad Guy and insulted him to close the show!
Circuit information: Razor Ramon can perhaps count himself fortunate that he was still in possession of the Intercontinental Title at the end of tonight's edition of Superstars. The conniving Tammy Fytch sprayed Ramon in the eyes with hairspray, leaving him open for Tom Billington to set up for the diving headbutt. However, Davey Boy Smith returned to throw a spanner in the works and laid out Billington with a running powerslam! We hadn't seen Smith since he was betrayed by his former partner back at the end of June and ever since that day Billington has been bragging to everyone about how he had rid the WWF of Davey Boy Smith. Smith has proven Billington wrong and is keen to settle the score with his ex-best friend.
Razor Ramon didn't have a chance to take stock of what had happened during the main event as he was laid out once again by Tom Billington's stable mate, Scott Steiner. Steiner has been clamouring for an Intercontinental Title shot for weeks now and we are expecting an update on this situation from WWF President Jack Tunney very soon.
The opening six man tag team bout settled nothing between Owen Hart and the Great Muta. WWF fans worldwide are licking their lips at the prospect of these two men locking horns at SummerSlam.
WWF officials have decided that the answer to ending the intense feud between Crush and Barry Windham is with a Stretcher Match. Each superstar has received medical attention as a consequence of an attack from the other in recent weeks and the only way to win this bout is to incapacitate your opponent enough so that he leaves the arena on a stretcher! This match will not be one for the faint-hearted and neither man can possibly the same again after this brutal contest!
Here's how the card is shaping up so far for SummerSlam, which we'll be bringing to you from the brand new United Center in Chicago, Illinois, live on pay-per-view on August 29th!!
WWF Championship Match Big Van Vader vs The Undertaker
WWF World Tag Team Championship Match The Hollywood Blonds vs The Smoking Gunns

Monday Night RAW August 15th, 1994 Lowell, MA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
The show began with the arena in pitch darkness. Howard Finkel introduced Man Mountain Rock to the crowd and Rock was lit up by a spotlight in the centre of the ring, ready for his customary entrance. However, before Rock could begin playing his ax, Jeff Jarrett - who had appeared out of nowhere - smashed an acoustic guitar over Rock's head!! As Rock lay sprawled out in the ring amongst the remnants of the guitar, Double J cussed him out for embarrassing him on last week's show. Jarrett was booed out of the building as he strutted around the ring while Man Mountain Rock received medical attention.
In Gene Okerlund's SummerSlam report, it was announced that Harvey Wippleman's group of Adam Bomb, Bam Bam Bigelow and The Warlord will take on the team of Marty Jannetty, Bob Holly and Max Moon in a six man tag team encounter at the pay-per-view. Okerlund revealed that Wippleman's men will be in action next on Monday Night RAW.
Adam Bomb, Bam Bam Bigelow and Warlord defeated Paul Jones, Chaz Ware and Tony Webb when A. Bomb pinned P. Jones after a powerslam in 0:06:10. Rating: 1/2*
After the match, Harvey Wippleman claimed that it will be just as easy at SummerSlam when his men destroy Bob Holly, Max Moon and especially Marty Jannetty.
Ted DiBiase and Barry Windham cut a promo on Crush ahead of the Stretcher Match between Crush and The Widowmaker at SummerSlam. The Million Dollar Man claimed that he had used his substantial resources to reserve a bed for Crush at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago!
The Birdman pinned Ralph Mosca with the One Fell Swoop in 0:04:49. Rating: * 1/2
During this match, it was announced that Duke "The Dumpster" Droese will defend the Hardcore Title against the Birdman on next week's show. The Birdman cut an insert promo in which he vowed to become the new Hardcore Champion in seven days.
Footage was shown of the attacks that the Beverly Brothers conducted on the Headshrinkers a month ago which resulted in Samu and Fatu missing ring time. The Headshrinkers make their return tonight though and are out for revenge against Beau and Blake!
The Beverly Brothers (Beau Beverly and Blake Beverly) defeated The Headshrinkers (Fatu and Samu) when Beau pinned Fatu after the Shaker Heights Spike in 0:09:03. Rating: ** 3/4 [Afa interfered against Beau Beverly.] [Tammy Fytch interfered against Fatu.]
The Headshrinkers dominated the Beverlys in the early going with headbutts and power manoeuvres, but the tide turned when Tammy Fytch tripped Fatu coming off the ropes and Beau and Blake went to work trying to reinjure Fatu's ankle. A miscue on the Beverlys part let Fatu make the hot tag to Samu, who then proceeded to clean house! Fytch tried to use her hair spray on Samu, but Afa used his kendo stick to sweep Fytch's legs away and she fell off the ring apron! However, Blake dropped Afa with a hard clothesline at ringside and then he and Blake tied Samu up in the ropes neck-first! As the referee frantically tried to free Samu from his dangerous predicament, The Beverlys made the most of their two-on-one advantage. They punished the isolated Fatu with a series of axhandles off the top rope and finished him with the Shaker Heights Spike.
After the match, Beau and Blake Beverly helped Tammy Fytch regain her composure. She angrily stomped the fallen Afa and then joined in on the celebrations with her victorious team.
Mr. Perfect pinned P.J. Walker with the Perfect Plex in 0:05:44. Rating: * 1/4
This contest was notable for another strong showing by the young rookie P.J. Walker. Walker almost scored a huge upset win on two occasions when he trapped Mr. Perfect in a small package and a backslide! P.J. missed a flying cross body off the top rope though and Perfect capitalised with the Perfect Plex for the three count.
P.J. Walker was applauded for his efforts after the match, which didn't sit well with Mr. Perfect. Perfect attacked the youngster after the bell, which evoked loud jeers from the crowd. Perfect went for another Perfect Plex, but Tatanka appeared in the aisle to confront his SummerSlam opponent! Perfect cast P.J. Walker aside and turned his attention to Tatanka. Perfect taunted Tatanka from the ring as the Native American was held back in the aisle by officials. Walker then dropkicked Perfect in the back, sending Perfect over the top rope to the floor!! Tatanka laughed at the humiliated Perfect, while Walker celebrated in the ring as the fans cheered! Perfect then went after Walker, who took off through the crowd.
Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan closed this week's edition of RAW by hyping up the WWF Championship Match between Big Van Vader and The Undertaker at SummerSlam. McMahon announced that the Phenom will be in action on next week's show!
Circuit information: Jeff Jarrett gained a measure of retribution on Man Mountain Rock as he obliterated a guitar over Rock's head at the outset of the show. Double J was left humiliated after Rock interrupted his concert last week and tonight Jarrett left Rock laying before he even had a chance to start performing on his ax.
Young P.J. Walker continues to impress mat observers with his recent performances. One man not blown away was Mr. Perfect, who was almost defeated by Walker a number of times tonight. Perfect attacked Walker after their bout, which did not sit well with Tatanka. As Tatanka confronted Perfect, Walker sent Perfect out of the ring with a well-placed dropkick! The mind games between Perfect and Tatanka continue heading into SummerSlam.
The Beverly Brothers have long been seen as comedy figures in the WWF but since joining Fytch Wrestling Enterprises they have become real players in the tag team division. Tonight they recorded their second straight victory over the Headshrinkers and if they continue in this vein they could soon catapult themselves into title contention.
Harvey Wippleman has his troops ready for SummerSlam. He is clearly relishing the chance of dishing out a beating to the trio of Marty Jannetty, Max Moon and Bob Holly in two weeks.
Here's how the card is shaping up so far for SummerSlam, which we'll be bringing to you from the brand new United Center in Chicago, Illinois, live on pay-per-view on August 29th!!

WWF Superstars August 20th, 1994 Civic Center, Wheeling, WV Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Sean Mooney opened the show by inviting The Thrillseekers out to the interview podium to cheers from the crowd. Chris Jericho put over the support they had received from the WWF fans and Lance Storm added that they would continue to entertain the fans night after night. The segment was interrupted by WWF Tag Team Champions The Hollywood Blonds. Steve Austin and Brian Pillman were typically condescending towards the Thrillseekers, calling them a couple of greenhorns. Austin said that he and Pillman needed a tune-up before SummerSlam and were going to offer the Thrillseekers the opportunity of a lifetime - the chance to step in the ring with the Tag Team of the Nineties! Jericho warned that the Blonds would regret underestimating them, but Austin playfully slapped him in the face! Jericho swatted his hand away, but the Blonds simply laughed at him! Storm said they'd see them in the ring later.
Bob Holly, Marty Jannetty and Max Moon defeated Tony DeVito, Mike Sharpe and Mike Bell when Jannetty pinned M. Sharpe after a superkick in 0:07:12. Rating: **
During the bout, Harvey Wippleman's stable of Adam Bomb, Bam Bam Bigelow and The Warlord were shown watching on backstage.
Bob Backlund defeated Duane Gill when Duane Gill passed out in the Cross-Face Chicken Wing in 0:05:40. Rating: * 1/4
The Smoking Gunns met with The Thrillseekers backstage. Billy and Bart warned the youngsters that the Hollywood Blonds know every dirty trick in the book and advised them to never led their guards down. The Gunns wished Chris Jericho and Lance Storm the best of luck and left them to continue their warm-up.
Tito Santana pinned Reno Riggins with the Mexican Hammer in 0:05:42. Rating: * 1/4
In another SummerSlam report, Gene Okerlund excitedly announced that two more huge matches have been signed for the pay-per-view. First, in a battle of former Tag Team Champions, Davey Boy Smith will go one-on-one with "Dynamite" Tom Billington! Also, the Intercontinental Title will be on the line as champion Razor Ramon defends against the new number one contender, Scott Steiner!! Comments then aired from Fytch Wrestling Enterprises members Steiner and Billington, who were joined by Tammy Fytch. Billington was delighted that he had the chance to rid the company of Davey Boy Smith once and for all and added that it was an opportunity he would not waste. Steiner was beaming that he was finally getting the Intercontinental Title shot he feels that he has deserved for a long time. He warned Razor Ramon that nobody gets up from the Steiner Screwdriver and when he drops Ramon on his greasy head with the SSD at SummerSlam, there's going to be a new Intercontinental Champion! Okerlund then returned to reveal that on next week's edition of Monday Night RAW, Davey Boy Smith will meet Scott Steiner in singles action!
The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated The Hollywood Blonds (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman) when Jericho pinned Pillman after a rolling reverse cradle in 0:10:09. Rating: ** 1/2
The Thrillseekers shocked the WWF Tag Team Champions and sent the fans into raptures as they knocked Steve Austin and Brian Pillman out of the ring with a couple of dropkicks at the outset of this contest. Lance Storm and Chris Jericho then followed up with a pair of stereo dives onto their opponents at ringside! Back inside the ring, the Blonds took over and their greater experience showed as they isolated Jericho from his partner. Pillman and Austin repeatedly distracted the official while the other bent the rules at the expense of Jericho, as Lance Storm grew ever more frustrated on the apron. Jericho fired back with an enzuigiri on Austin, but when he tried to follow up with a missile dropkick, Austin side stepped the move and Jericho hit the mat hard! Austin then hit the Stun Gun on Jericho, but refused to go for the cover. Instead, Austin tagged in Pillman and the champions hit Jericho with the Brush with Greatness. However, despite the protestations from the official, the Blonds once again decided not to pin Jericho. They wanted to extend the beating as long as possible. Lance Storm attempted to enter the ring, but the referee prevented him from doing so. The Blonds dragged the barely-conscious Jericho off the mat and went for the Brush with Greatness again, but they were distracted by an appearance from the Smoking Gunns! The Gunns - who will challenge Pillman and Austin for the titles at SummerSlam - disapproved of the Blonds' treatment of Chris Jericho and had come out to do something about it! The Blonds got into a heated argument with Billy and Bart and told them to get lost! With their opponents' backs turned, Lance Storm and Chris Jericho surprised Pillman and Austin with a couple of roll ups and the official made the three count!!
The roof almost exploded off the arena as The Hollywood Blonds went down to their very first defeat in the WWF at the hands of the two young Canadians, Lance Storm and Chris Jericho!! The Thrillseekers celebrated in the aisle with the Smoking Gunns, while the Blonds went beserk in the ring!!
Circuit information: The Thrillseekers scored the biggest win of their fledging careers as they upset WWF Tag Team Champions The Hollywood Blonds, albeit with an assist from the Smoking Gunns. The Blonds were furious that they had suffered their first loss in WWF rings this close to an important title defence at SummerSlam and are laying the blame squarely at the door of the Gunns. But perhaps Steve Austin and Brian Pillman should take a look at themselves, as their own arrogance in the match came back to bite them. They had numerous opportunities to put Chris Jericho away and win the match, but they chose instead to further punish Jericho and humiliate the youngster further.
With two more huge match-ups announced tonight, the line-up for SummerSlam is just about complete. Scott Steiner is confident that he can defeat Razor Ramon and capture the Intercontinental title when he gets the opportunity at SummerSlam, one he feels is long overdue. And former WWF Tag Team Champions The British Bulldogs will wage war on one another as Tom Billington clashes with Davey Boy Smith in the next chapter of their bitter rivalry.

Monday Night RAW August 22nd, 1994 Lowell, MA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
The show began with the introductions for the Hardcore Title Match, which sees Duke "The Dumpster" Droese defend against The Birdman.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Duke Droese pinned The Birdman with the Trash Compactor in 0:07:06. Rating: ** 3/4 (Duke Droese retained the WWF Hardcore Title.)
Duke Droese took control in this title match early with a series of shots with a road sign and a cookie sheet. The Dumpster even smashed a wooden birdhouse over the Birdman's skull! Droese missed a charge and went head-first into an ironing board and The Birdman seized the upper hand. Birdman destroyed Droese with a kendo stick and then placed a trash can over Droese's head, who was laid out on the canvas. Birdman went for the One Fell Swoop, but Droese slid out of the trash can and the Birdman flattened it with a springboard splash! Droese then drilled the Birdman with the Trash Compactor onto the squashed garbage can to retain the title.
In the final SummerSlam report, Gene Okerlund revealed that "Double J" Jeff Jarrett will square off with Man Mountain Rock at the pay-per-view. Footage was then shown of the sneak attack on Man Mountain Rock by Jeff Jarrett from last week, in which Double J smashed an acoustic guitar over Rock's head. A furious Man Mountain Rock then cut a promo, warning that SummerSlam will be the day the music dies for Jeff Jarrett!
Owen Hart pinned JW Storm after a spinwheel kick in 0:06:19. Rating: ** 3/4
During the match, the Great Muta made his way out to watch proceedings. The Rocket was momentarily distracted by the Pearl of the Orient, but quickly finished JW Storm with a kick to the head.
Following the contest, Owen Hart challenged the Great Muta to get in the ring and fight. Muta simply turned and walked to the back.
Scott Steiner and Davey Boy Smith battled to a no-contest in 0:08:42. Rating: *** 1/4
This match-up evoked memories of the rivalry between the British Bulldogs and the Steiners from earlier in the year. The two men traded power moves, with Davey Boy Smith using a Gorilla press and a hanging vertical suplex and Scott Steiner returning fire with a belly-to-belly suplex and a tilt-a-whirl slam. Steiner went for the Frankensteiner, but Smith countered with a wicked power bomb! Fearing that her man was staring defeat in the face, Tammy Fytch climbed onto the apron and began fishing around in her handbag for hair spray. That brought out Razor Ramon, who pulled Fytch back down in order to confront her! Tom Billington then arrived on the scene and clobbered Ramon from behind! The bout completely broke down as Davey Boy Smith left the ring to get a piece of Billington and Steiner soon followed to become embroiled in the brawl at ringside!! The referee had lost all control and he threw the match out as all four men continued to fight!! Road agents and officials attempted to restore order as the show went to commercial.
Shawn Michaels cut a promo backstage. The Heartbreak Kid acknowledged that Jack Tunney had kicked him off the SummerSlam card, but Michaels vowed that he would still make an impact at the pay-per-view.
The Undertaker pinned Scotty Flamingo with the Tombstone in 0:05:07. Rating: ***
The Undertaker was making mincemeat out of Scotty Flamingo in this bout but as he prepared to deliver his trademark rope walk chop, Big Van Vader and Harley Race wandered down to ringside. Undertaker adjusted mid-move and took out Vader and Race with an amazing plancha! 'Taker then finished off poor Flamingo with a flying clothesline and the Tombstone.
No sooner had the official counted the fall than Big Van Vader attacked The Undertaker. Vader dropped several elbows on the Deadman and then dumped him outside the ring, where he bashed 'Taker in the head with the steel steps! With Undertaker laid out, the WWF Champion and his manager Harley Race turned their attention to Paul Bearer. Race threw Bearer into a hard lariat from Vader. Vader then climbed the turnbuckles and prepared to deliver a Vader Bomb to Bearer. Thankfully, The Undertaker returned to the ring just in time and struck Vader with a low blow, sending the Mastodon crashing over the top rope down to ringside!! The atmosphere inside the arena was electric! The Undertaker then grabbed Harley Race around the throat as the show went off air!!
Circuit information: Big Van Vader pulled his manager Harley Race to safety before The Undertaker could exact a measure of revenge for Paul Bearer, who was brutalised at the hands of the WWF Champion. The situation between Undertaker and Vader has now escalated rapidly with just one week to go before their championship showdown at SummerSlam. It was Vader and Race's intention to weaken the challenger, but they may have only succeeded in signing their own death warrant.
Let's run down the card for SummerSlam, which we'll be bringing to you from the brand new United Center in Chicago, Illinois, live on pay-per-view on August 29th!!
WWF Championship Match Big Van Vader vs The Undertaker
The Undertaker signalled his intention of once again becoming WWF Champion when he appeared at the end of the main event at WrestleMania to confront title holder Bret Hart. However, when the Hitman was forced to relinquish the title through injury, it was Big Van Vader who claimed the vacant strap by winning the King of the Ring tournament. Vader actually eliminated The Undertaker from that tournament via count out in controversial circumstances, when Harley Race held on to the Deadman's foot and prevented him from reentering the ring. Since that day, The Undertaker has made it his mission to defeat Vader for the title. These two superstars have crossed paths several times in recent weeks, most notably tonight on Monday Night RAW, and on each occasion chaos and destruction has been the result. We expect things to be no different at SummerSlam, but when the dust settles, who will be standing tall as WWF Champion?
WWF Intercontinental Championship Match Razor Ramon vs Scott Steiner
Scott Steiner has been clamouring for an Intercontinental Title shot ever since he defeated Razor Ramon by count out at the King of the Ring this past June. Following that event, Steiner has ploughed his way through the singles ranks of the promotion, finishing opponent after opponent with what very well may be the most dangerous hold in wrestling today, the Steiner Screwdriver. Steiner certainly appears to have the Bad Guy's number, thanks in no small part to the conniving Tammy Fytch. Fytch is desperate to bring home some gold to Fytch Wrestling Enterprises and Scott Steiner may be the man to do it.
WWF World Tag Team Championship Match The Hollywood Blonds vs The Smoking Gunns
The Smoking Gunns earned a WWF Tag Team Title shot by winning the inaugural Tag Team Turmoil match earlier this summer, in which they outlasted five other of the company's top teams. They'll be going up against current champions The Hollywood Blonds, who until last weekend had been undefeated in the WWF since debuting in January. The Blonds fell to young Canadians The Thrillseekers, who capitalised on a distraction caused by Billy and Bart Gunn. How will that embarrassing defeat affect the mindset of the champions heading into SummerSlam? And what is the status of Bart Gunn's knee injury, suffered during a fracas with the Blonds on Monday Night RAW? It won't be long until we have answers.
Stretcher Match Barry Windham vs Crush
The situation between Crush and Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase began before the King of the Ring when they were drawn to meet in the first round of the WWF Title tournament. Crush defeated DiBiase at the June pay-per-view, but was attacked by DiBiase's bodyguard Barry Windham following the contest. Crush went on to lose in the quarter final to Shawn Michaels, a loss that was partly due to the beatdown he had received at the hands of DiBiase and Windham. The Original Hawaiian Punch got his own back on The Widowmaker two weeks later and put Windham on the shelf with an elbow injury. As Windham convalesced, DiBiase put a bounty on the head of Crush, but the big Hawaiian fought off all comers until The Widowmaker returned to action and laid out Crush with a sickening suplex on the unprotected concrete floor. WWF matchmakers decided that a simple singles contest between these two men would not be enough to settle things, which is why this bout will be a Stretcher Match! One of these superstars will suffer the ignominy of being stretchered out of the arena, unable to continue, and each man is determined not to let it be them!
Davey Boy Smith vs Tom Billington
Tom Billington feels that Davey Boy Smith was the weak link of the British Bulldogs tandem and this team exploded in June when Dynamite brutally turned on his partner. Billington, now a card carrying member of Fytch Wrestling Enterprises, wants all the glory for himself and is determined to win titles in the singles ranks. But as long as Davey Boy Smith is around, he won't let that happen. This is the most personal match on the card at SummerSlam and perhaps we'll find out once and for all who really was top dog in the British Bulldogs.
Mr. Perfect vs Tatanka
Mr Perfect isn't in the WWF to be the good guy, he's here to win titles. And since the King of the Ring, he's made it clear that he is prepared to do anything - including stepping over his friends - to advance his career. This has not gone down well with his former friend Tatanka, who has been the victim of Perfect's shady tactics as of late. Tatanka is out to humble Perfect at SummerSlam and inflict a demoralising loss, but since Perfect has reverted back to the darkside he has proven very difficult to beat.
Owen Hart vs Great Muta
Gary Hart introduced his Black Friday Management stable to the world this past June and it was done at the expense of Owen Hart, who was jumped and beaten up at the hands of the Great Muta, the Arabian Butchers and Kimona. Owen has a history with Muta dating to the back end of 1993 and there is unfinished business there, which is why Owen singled out the Pearl of the Orient out as the man to gain retribution from. WWF fans worldwide are expecting big things from this bout, which will surely be up there when the Match of the Year candidates are announced.
Jeff Jarrett vs Man Mountain Rock
It's country vs rock at SummerSlam as country music superstar "Double J" Jeff Jarrett squares off with heavy metal guitarist Man Mountain Rock. Jarrett's plans of using the WWF as a stepping stone to launch his music career are well documented, so when Rock decided to interrupt Jarrett's live singing debut with a guitar solo, it did not sit well with Double J. Jarrett returned fire the following week, smashing an acoustic guitar over Rock's head before Rock could make his trademark entrance. This grudge will come to a head in one week at SummerSlam!
Adam Bomb, Bam Bam Bigelow and The Warlord vs Marty Jannetty, Max Moon and Bob Holly
This rivalry began when Marty Jannetty broke Harvey Wippleman's nose and ever since more and more superstars have been caught up in the dispute. Wippleman brought back the Warlord to help watch his back and prevent him from being assaulted again. Wippleman's expanded crew then attacked Jannetty as payback, but the next week Jannetty caused Adam Bomb to suffer an embarrassing loss to newcomer Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly. Max Moon later joined forces with Jannetty and Holly to make it a fair fight, which led to this six man tag team encounter at SummerSlam. It's the chance for Bob Holly and Max Moon to be taken seriously and capture a huge victory on pay-per-view, but the huge trio of Bomb, Bam Bam Bigelow and the Warlord are no pushovers.
We are one week away from the hottest night of the summer!! Make sure you don't miss it!

WWF @ New York City, NY August 25th, 1994 Madison Square Garden, New York City, NY
Bob Holly pinned Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz with the Fender Bender in 0:06:34. Rating: * 3/4
This show saw the first appearance of Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz, a baseball player with his face painted like a baseball and wearing a 00 on his jersey. Schwartz put in a good showing in his debut, at one point sliding out of the ring and dragging Bob Holly with him by the ankles and then bodyslamming Holly on the floor. Holly blocked a superplex attempt and finished Schwartz with the Fender Bender flying kneedrop.
Swiss Bobsleigh Team (Lars and Luca) defeated The Headshrinkers (Fatu and Samu) when Luca pinned Samu after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:20:45. Rating: ** 3/4 [Alundra interfered against Samu.] [Alundra interfered against Fatu.] [Afa interfered against Lars.] [Afa interfered against Luca.]
Lars and Luca, the Swiss Bobsleigh Team, came out on top in a long match with the Headshrinkers. However, it took a bobsleigh helmet to the back of Samu's head to get the job done. The Headshrinkers were furious after the match and chased Lars and Luca to the back.
Great Muta pinned The Berzerker with the Moonsault Press in 0:08:01. Rating: ** 3/4
Shawn Michaels defeated Crush by countout in 0:14:04. Rating: **** [Liz interfered against Crush.] [Barry Windham interfered against Crush.]
Crush was distracted in this match-up when Barry Windham rolled a stretcher out to ringside. Shawn Michaels struck Crush in the back of the skull with a superkick which sent the big Hawaiian crashing to ringside, where he was subsequently counted out. Barry Windham then got in several cheap shots on Crush until he was dragged away by officials.
Jeff Jarrett defeated Owen Hart via pinfall in 0:09:11. Rating: *** 1/2 [Great Muta interfered against Owen Hart.]
Owen Hart was all set to put Jeff Jarrett away with the Rocket Launcher when the Great Muta sprinted out and spewed mist in Owen's eyes. The Rocket lose his balance and collapsed down to the mat where he was easy prey for Double J.
The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated Barry Windham and Ted DiBiase when C. Jericho pinned DiBiase after a sunset flip in 0:10:04. Rating: *** [Crush interfered against Barry Windham.]
The Thrillseekers filled in for the Smoking Gunns in this contest and went on to secure another huge victory in their fledgling WWF careers. Lance Storm and Chris Jericho capitalised on a fracas at ringside between Crush and Barry Windham, which diverted the attention of Ted DiBiase. Jericho went on to pin the Million Dollar Man with a sunset flip for a very popular win!
Ted DiBiase went after Crush following the bout, but the Thrillseekers intervened and assisted Crush in sending DiBiase and Barry Windham packing to the dressing room.
Razor Ramon and Tatanka and Mr. Perfect and Scott Steiner battled to a draw in 0:30:00. Rating: *** 3/4 [Tammy Fytch interfered against Razor Ramon.]
This was a tremendous battle which served as a preview for two of the feature singles bouts at SummerSlam. The team of Mr. Perfect and Scott Steiner worked over Tatanka for a large period of the bout, but the tide turned when the Native American finally made the hot tag to Razor Ramon. Tatanka and Perfect both went over the top rope and fought at ringside while Ramon drove Steiner down to the canvas with a belly-to-back superplex. The Bad Guy called for the Razor's Edge but before he could execute the move, the bell sounded to signal that the time limit had expired.
The fans voiced their disapproval at the unsatisfactory finish. Razor Ramon and Tatanka challenged their opponents to five more minutes, but Mr. Perfect was already halfway back to the dressing room area.
The Undertaker pinned Bam Bam Bigelow with a choke slam in 0:12:07. Rating: ** 3/4 [Paul Bearer interfered against Bam Bam Bigelow.] [Harvey Wippleman interfered against The Undertaker.]
The Undertaker warmed up for his WWF Title Match against Big Van Vader at SummerSlam by facing a superstar of similar size and girth, Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow missed his flying headbutt and The Undertaker pounced, finishing the Beast From The East with a flying clothesline and a choke slam.
As the crowd gave The Undertaker a standing ovation, the Deadman motioned that he wants the WWF Championship around his waist. There can be no doubt that the Phenom is ready for Vader at SummerSlam!!
Card rating: *** 1/2

WWF Superstars August 27th, 1994 Civic Center, Wheeling, WV Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
This week's edition of Superstars began with Bad News Brown making his way down to the ring for a singles contest with the Big Boss Man. Bad News had gained possession of the Boss Man's nightstick several weeks ago and he tried to attack the former corrections officer with it before the bell. However, Boss Man disarmed Brown after he planted him with a spinebuster and Bad News bailed out as the show went to commercial.
Bad News Brown pinned Big Boss Man with the Ghetto Blaster in 0:10:44. Rating: ** 1/4
This match-up finally got started during the commercial break. Big Boss Man appeared to be heading for victory but Bad News Brown countered the Boss Man Slam by kicking the Boss Man in the head. Bad News followed up with the Ghetto Blaster for the three count.
Sean Mooney interviewed Bad News Brown in the aisle following the match. Bad News challenged the winner of the WWF Title Match at SummerSlam.
Swiss Bobsleigh Team (Lars and Luca) defeated Bert Centeno and Barry Hardy when Lars pinned B. Hardy with the Kreisel in 0:06:26. Rating: 1/2*
Sean Mooney conducted an interview with Quebecer Jacques at the podium. Mooney remarked that Jacques had been looking a little lost since the Quebecers team split after Pierre left the company. Jacques acknowledged that to be fact, but shocked Mooney when he revealed that he had found another tag team partner! Jacques said that he now had a partner he could rely on and a partner who would never let him down. Jacques proceeded to bring out the only man he could ever trust - his brother Raymond!! Jacques and Raymond hugged and Jacques said it was great to have his brother back by his side, in fact, it's "Fabulous"!!! The Rougeaus hugged again as the strains of "All-American Boys" filled the arena.
Mantaur and Kevin Kelly battled to a no-contest in 0:03:59. Rating: -3/4*
The crowd certainly did not take to this plodding encounter, but they sat up and paid attention when Gary Hart emerged from the entrance way. Hart was leading someone out from the back, but the mystery man's head was covered by a black towel. When the two men arrived at ringside, the leader of Black Friday Management removed the towel from the man's head, revealing The Tazmaniac! However, it was much changed look for the Tazmaniac, who was clad in a black singlet and had his head shaved. The Tazmaniac appeared to be totally fired up as Hart sent him into the ring! Tazmaniac immediately went after Kevin Kelly, destroying him with two vicious suplexes! Mantaur then decided to go after him, but the Tazmaniac beat the 400-pounder down. In an awesome feat of strength, the Tazmaniac launched Mantaur across the ring with a T-Bone suplex!! KimChee, the current manager of Mantaur and the former manager of the Tazmaniac, confronted his former charge but the Tazmaniac floored him with a lariat. The Tazmaniac then laid out KimChee with yet another sick suplex as Gary Hart entered the ring holding a microphone.
While the Tazmaniac stood menacingly with his arms folded in the centre of the ring, Gary Hart addressed the crowd. Hart acknowledged that as the leader of Black Friday Management, he has become notorious for scouting and developing talent from all over the world. However, Hart said that sometimes you find incredible talent right under your nose, somebody who is a little rough around the edges and in need of a little polish. Hart revealed that he saw something in the man to his left - the man formerly known as the Tazmaniac - and said that he was not an animalistic wildman, but a mean and nasty street thug from Brooklyn! Hart added that from this point on The Tazmaniac would be known simply as Taz - one man, three letters and a dangerous new attitude! Taz then took the mic and said it doesn't matter if they are 200, 300 or 400 lbs, no matter how many men get in his way, they will become just another victim!
Tito Santana pinned Repo Man with the Mexican Hammer in 0:06:01. Rating: * 1/4
Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler closed out the show by offering their SummerSlam predictions. Lawler confidently proclaimed that Scott Steiner will capture the Intercontinental Title from Razor Ramon and Big Van Vader will bury The Undertaker, while McMahon felt that The Undertaker could very well capture the WWF Championship for a second time in Chicago!
Circuit information: Tonight on what proved to be a newsworthy edition of WWF Superstars, we witnessed the metamorphosis of the neanderthal Tazmaniac into dangerous Brooklyn street thug Taz. With the devious Gary Hart behind him, Taz is determined to suplex his way through the singles ranks of the World Wrestling Federation. Perhaps more disconcerting is the fact that Hart has promised more additions to the ranks of Black Friday Management over the coming weeks!
Also on this evening's show, charismatic French Canadian tag team the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers reformed. Raymond Rougeau hasn't competed in a WWF ring since 1990, but he returned tonight by his brother Jacques' side, who had been at a loss since his last tag team partner left the company. The Rougeaus will certainly be a creditable addition to the ultra-competitive tag team division.
Conspicuous by his absence from the Rougeaus' reunion was Jimmy Hart. Hart left the company this weekend. Kevin Kelly is also done. We wish both the very best in their future endeavours.
Let's run down the card for SummerSlam, which we'll be bringing to you from the brand new United Center in Chicago, Illinois, live on pay-per-view in just TWO DAYS!!

We hope you will join us for the hottest night of the summer, WWF SummerSlam!! It's live, this Monday night on pay-per-view!!

Taz is going to be suplexing the hell out of people a little early in this timeline. (I smell a fued with Scott Steiner in the future.) Gary Hart's stable looks more and more like a very serious force.
MY SUMMERSLAM PICKS Undertaker over Vader Steiner over Razor Blonds over Gunns* Crush over Windham Dynamite over Davey Boy** Perfect over Tatanka Owen over Muta (probably via rollup/cradle, with Owen getting a hellacious beating from Gary Hart's men afterwards) Jarett over Man Mountain der job squad over Wippleman's stable ***
* I think Gunns should win it here, but since the Gunns have a "legit" knee injury I expect the Blonds to retain and likely get into a fued with the Thrillseekers
** If this was me booking, I would put over Davey Boy and send Dynamite out of WWF with this having been Dynamite's last big run. But as you're treating Billington as being still in good physical shape and seem inclined to push his stock to be on the rise and Davey's to be on the fall.
*** I expect the faces to get some kind of surprise win here, probably pinning Warlord. This leads to Wippleman's stable breaking up. You've got 3 heel stables right now and that just can't last.

- I've always been a huge mark for Taz, but it'll definitely be odd seeing him in the WWF in 1994. It might be hard for him to get too over since he won't be able to have his hardcore promos. Not to mention it kind of feels like you already have Bad News Brown to fill in this role.
- Nice to see the Fabulous Rougeaus back in action. They probably won't make it all the way up to the tag titles, but they are a nice addition to a really good tag team scene.
- I can't wait for SummerSlam.
Undertaker over Vader Steiner over Ramon Blonds over Gunns Crush over Windham Billington over DBS Perfect over Tatanka Owen over Muta Jarrett over MMR Jannetty, Moon, and Holly over the heels
Looks like I have the same predictions as Liller.
I hope you give DBS something to do after his feud with Billington because I've always been a fan of his singles career.

Not to mention it kind of feels like you already have Bad News Brown to fill in this role. While this Taz has the same look and wrestling style as the real world Taz, it doesn't look like he's going to be cutting any hardcore promos. Instead he will be the silent-but-deadly enforcer for Gary Hart. I hope you give DBS something to do after his feud with Billington because I've always been a fan of his singles career. I also hope Davey has some kind of future. Maybe teaming with Owen against Gary Hart's thugs?
