- Show opens up with Wrestle America owner Robert Black walks out and welcomes everyone to Wrestle America. He follows up announcing the format of the World Title Tournament, featuring 14 wrestlers. The wrinkle in the format known as the Legends Bracket, which will feature Sting, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michael and Triple H. The winners of the two legends first round matches advance and the losers face each other for a second chance to advance. While the other ten men face of in a single elimination to advance to leabe eight men standing to begin the tournament. To finish off, he announced the first match of the night, a non-tournament match between Evan Bourne and Funaki.
Evan Bourne pinned Funaki with the Shooting Star Press in 0:11:56.

-Jack Swagger hit the ring and complained about the whole legends bracket crap. He said the next generation wasn't given a fair go. Sting came out and basically said that Swagger was all that was wrong with the current generation, that it was all about “me, me, me.” Swagger goaded Sting into a match tonight with a slot in the “Legends Bracket” on the line.
-Triple H and Shawn Michaels were discussing their match next week in the Legends Bracket.
Beer Money, Inc. (James Storm and Robert Roode) defeated The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) when R. Roode pinned C. Haas with the Payoff in 0:13:38.
