I seem to have lost my creative skills in wrestling, so I am puttin that on the back burner for a while. However, I am feeling footballish, so I am doing NCAA 11. Not only that, I am doing an online dynasty as....The New World Order University Outsiders! History of the school to follow.

Dr. Obediah Moran, born on July 4, 1800, a direct decended of Dr. J.R. Moran, marked off about four acres of land in the Eastwood area of Birmingham, Alabama, and built a school of higher learning called Eastwood College. Out of that three room school came the most brilliant minds in the state's history. Within a few years, Obediah's dream started to become a reality as more buildings were built, and more students enrolled. The aim of Eastwood College was to provide an affordable education to those who could not go off to a big name university. Obediah Moran passed away on November 20, 1901 during a faculity meeting. The Interim President of Eastwood College became Dr. Jonas Moran, who was sworn in as President on Janurary 20, 1902. Born on March 7, 1835, Dr. Jonas Moran established the Dr. Obediah Moran Scholarship Fund for those who excelled in high school sciences. He also established the Eastwood College Glee Club, which won many awards, and was the first state glee club to sing just outside the Washington DC city limits during the Inauguration of President Woodrow Wilison in 1913. Dr. Moran would also serve on a panel set up by President Wilson to introduce outhouses to the states of Georgia, Mississippi, and Arkansas. On June 13, 1927, Dr. Jonas Moran passed away as he was demostrating the Chinese rice picker. But he left his mark on Eastwood College which would never be removed. On July 30, 1927 Dr. Ebenezer Moran would take over as President of Eastwood College. It was Ebenezer who would get the ball rolling on the greatest era Eastwood College had ever seen. Born on April 1, 1887, the year Doc Holliday passed, Ebenezer was the right man for Eastwood College. In Janurary of 1950, Dr. Ebenezer Moran, along with surviving members of past graduating classes of Eastwood College, and the Eastwood College Glee Club and the student body, unveiled the brand new New World Order University. Ebenezer would see the university through some of it's high watermarks. The only falure Dr. Ebenezer Moran would see would be the lead filled jump rope. November 22, 1963 would prove to be a historic day indeed. Much of the news was about the assassinatiion of President John F Kennedy, but little known would also be the death of Dr. Ebenezer Moran who, while riding his bicycle through the university, was struck down by a errant pecan which was shot from a third story window of the New World Order Library a few yards away from a grassy knoll. To this day, there is still controversy as to whether there was one or two slingshots fired on that faithful day. A strange oddity occurs each year as students, to this very day, as they pass by the elaborate mausoleum of Dr. Ebenezer Moran, located on campus, either strike a match, or light their ciggarette lighters. The new President of NWO University was sworn in that following Janurary 20, 1964, and it was the younger brother of Dr. Ebenezer Moran, Dr. Robert Moran, known affectionately as "Colonel Bob". Born September 10, 1900, Dr. Robert Moran's claim to fame was, as the Colonel of the Alabama State Militia, known as the "Fighting 27th, made sure that, during World War II, not one single Greman NAZI made it across the Alabama state lines. It was "Colonel Bob" who brought football in for the first time in 1965. Even though the team was a club team, they were the cream of the crop. "Colonel Bob" also brought about the study of medical marihuana in 1975. It was quite by accident, as one of his students was caught by the Birmingham Police for using marihuana, but good ole "Colonel Bob" told the police that it was for study. To this day, every first Monday in August is "Weed Day", with every student taking a draw off the school's unofficial "Largest Joint", rolled the night before the big event. Dr. Robert Moran is the first President to step down from his post on September 10, 1990, the day of his 90th birthday, still in good health. After a stint as Interim President, Dr. J.R. Moran was made President of NWO University. At the begining of the football season, the first as a full member of the NCAA and the Southeastern Conference, a special tribute will be paid to Dr. Robert Moran, who will turn 110 September 10th.

NWO Football History Football has always been around in one form or another on the Eastwood College/New World Order University playing fields. Rutgers University and its neighbor, Princeton, played the first game of intercollegiate football on Nov. 6, 1869, on a plot of ground where the present-day Rutgers gymnasium now stands in New Brunswick, N.J. Rutgers won that first game, 6-4. That next day, Eastwood College played Fairhope University (Known to it's students as FU) at, what is now, the Crestwood football field. The final score of that game was Eastwood College 7, FU 3. Both schools fielded teams which were, for all practical purposes, picked from the student body. If they looked athletic enough, they played. From 1900 through the 1960s, football was played sporadically. Football games would spring up mostly because of disputes between students of other schools. The famous 1925 game between Eastwood College and West Jefferson State came about as a dispute between Validictorian Jim Clausin of Eastwood College and West Jefferson State's Michael O'Rielly. Instead of the traditional fist fight behind the Eastwood College dorm building (Now known ad the Dr. Ebenezer Moran Dorm), the schools decided to settle things on the field. Eastwood College came out on top on that day 21-17. At the end of the game, the two students who started the dispute, walked out to the 50 yard line, and shook hands. No one knows what actually started the dispute, but writings found last year show that it had to do with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a donkey. In 1965, football became an official sport for the first time, and, instead of the NCAA, the NWO University Football Club, known as The Outsiders, played for the little known Southern Independent Collegiate League, which had teams in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennesse, and Arkanasas. The going was rough at first, but the Outsiders held their own through the years. Players such as "Rambling" Ray Rizzo, "Hammering" Hank Perkins, John "The Golden Arm" McGinny, and that defensive great "Iron Balls" McGinty built the prestige of the team to where it is today. In 1975 the Outsiders won their first SICL "National Championship" winning the championship game against the Middle Arkansas Roughriders. The defense, lead by award winning senior "Iron Balls" McGinty, lodging a record breaking 10 sacks, and a last second blocked fieldgoal attempt which would have given the game to the Roughriders, helped the Outsiders bring home the trophy with a thrilling 28-27 win. "Iron Balls" McGinty became the first ever member inducted into the NWO Hall of Fame. After winning their first championship, the Outsiders won the SICL Championship for the next 5 years, a record which still stands today. Between 1975 through 2009, a total of twelve SICL titles was won by the Outsiders. However, three of the titles are in dispute to this very day. The first, in 1982, three teams were undefeated in the league, the South Georgia Panhandlers, the Mississippi Poly Tech Rednecks, and the Outsiders. Through the scientific use of a deck of cards, the title game was played between the Outsiders and the Mississippi Poly Tech Rednecks, which the Outsiders won 42-10. However, several members of the South Georgia Panhandlers stormed the field during the trophy presentation and took the trophy. The Outsiders gave chase, but could not catch them. The following year, because of this incident, tensions ran so high during the regular season game between the Panhandlers and the Outsiders, a fist fight broke out between the NWO Christain Ladies Auxiliary and the South Georgia Alpha Delta Ladies Sorority. The game was suspended and they have not played since. The second disputed championship came 1988 as the Outsiders, the University of Old Tennesse Hobgoblins, and the Panama City Beach Surfer Dudes were undefeated after the season. A series of games between the three teams took place, with each gaining a win. it took a Kennedy Silver Dollar to resolve the issue as the Outsiders took the title again. The Hobgoblins and Surfer Dudes took issue with the result, and declared themselves as "National Champions" for that year. The third disputed title came in 1990. The teams that year were the Outsiders, the newly re-named Mississippi Poly Tech Grubworms, and the Choctaw University Injuns. This time, it was the Grubworms on the outside looking in as the SICL, along with a dart board, chose the Outsiders and the Injuns for the title game. During halftime at the championship game, the players of the Mississippi Poly Tech Grubworms in atendance, ran out onto the field, stripped down to their jockstraps, and butt-slid across the field. As with every football program, the Outsiders have had dark moments in their history. One which stands out is the story of linebacker Harvey Gillstrap. Harvey Gillstrap played for four years from 1970 through 1974. He was the building block for the great defense which included "Iron Balls" McGinty, Edward "Two Tone" Wright, and the Indian great Bravefeather Jones. In the third game of the 1974 season against the Savana State Seminoles, Harvey broke through the guards and, along with the other linbackers, sacked the Seminole QB Buddy Robinson. Then, when the players let him up, the fans knew something was wrong with Buddy. Grabbing at his crotch, he started point a finger at Gillstrap, and limped off the field in pain. The game officials was called to the Seminole sideline, and then ejected Gillstrap from the game. Seems that during the pileup, Harvey Gillstrap allegedly pulled Robinson's cup, and snapped it back, causing a massive groin injury to the Seminole QB, which knocked him out for the rest of the season. Harvey Gillstrap was kicked off the team, and left the school in disgrace. Years later, he became an advocate for equal rights for Guatemalan Gays in the US. Through the years, New World Order University has had stand out coaches leading the players out to the field. During the years from 1869 through 1965, various coaches took turn leading the teams into dispute games. Coaches like Hopalong Hooligan, Buck "Knock 'em Down" Johnson, and the ever popular Gabby Moran made Eastwood College/NWO University great on the field. However, it was 1965 that the first real coach, Bill "Shorty" Monroe would make a name for himself. Standing at 4'11", he was the shortest coach, but stood tall in stature. He lead his team to winning seasons, but came up short when it came to the title game. He would tell his players to get the lead out when he wanted them to hustle. he was once quoted as saying,"In order to win the game, you must play the game!". But it would not be until 1970 when the NWO's greatest coach would come on to the scene. Paul Rothstein was a student at NWO University from 1960 through 1964. He played on some of the unofficial games through those four years, but did not have a stellar career there. His entrance into imortality started during a spring break to the deserts of Arizona. There, while on a rattlesnake hunt, he spotted a rattler coming straight for him. They got into a wrestling match with the snake biting him on the knee. His buddys came running and helped to the local hospital where he made a full recovery, thus earning himself the nickname "Rattler". Upon graduation in 1964, he was asked by Coach "Shorty" Monroe to be a part of his coaching staff in 1965. After the 1966 season, Rothstein went to Arkansas to become the head coach of the Middle Arkansas Roughriders, whom he lead to their first SICL title in 1968. 1969 saw Coach "Shorty" Monroe retire, and NWO University called on Paul "Rattler" Rothstein. When asked why he would leave the Roughriders, he responded,"Why not?". he would stay as head coach from 1970 through 2008. Changeswere in the air as in March of 2000, Dr. J.R. Moran talked with the NCAA about bringing the NWO into the fold. When told the conditions, Dr. Moran got with Coach Rothstein and they started following NCAA guidlines. On Janurary 10, 2008, the NCAA made the annoncement that NWO University would be a part of the NCAA. The Outsiders would go on to win their final SICL Championship, defeating the Middle Arkansas Roughriders in a thrilling overtime game 45-42. This also spelled the end of the SICL as all of the other teams disbanded through the months. The Outsiders sat out the 2009 season as they prepared to join the NCAA. In an unusal move, the NCAA, along with the SEC Presidents, gave the NWO Vanderbilts spot and their schedule, with one change. The first game of the new season would be against the UAB Blazers. However, tragedy struck the NWO family as Head Coach Paul "Rattler" Rothstein passed away in his sleep on July 12, 2009. He had been preparing one last exibition game against Faber College. Now, the hunt was on for a new head coach, but they didn't have to look far. Johnny Ray had been an assistant coach since his graduation in 1987 for the NWO, and was in line for the Savana State Seminoles coaching job when coach Rothstein pased away. It was a no brainer as he quickly accepted the job handed to him. The Outsiders future has never looked brighter.

The Outsiders Record Shutout!
New World Order starts off the season well by shutting out UAB.
It was a dreary, rainy day at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama as the New World Order took on the UAB Blazers, in what is the first NCAA game in NWO history. While the weather may not have been the best it could have been, the game was everything the NWO fans could have hoped for as The Outsiders pounded the Blazers 42-0. The scoring started when QB Aaron Cantrell connected with WR Matt Powers for a 65 yard romp for their first touchdown in the school's history. The Outsiders dominated the first quarter as Cantrell found TE Billy Shelby for their second touchdown with 1:47 left in the period.
The next score came when Cantrell hooked up with WR Anthony Mackey, making the score 21-0. With 4:05 left in the second, SS Cedric Gibson intercepted a pass and, 19 yards later, the score was 28-0. The Outsiders were held in check through the third quarter, with UAB trying to rally, but the NWO defense would not budge. Cantrell left the game in the fourth, leaving the game in the hands of backup Rory Doucette. He proved to be a worthy QB as he lead The Outsiders to a pair of touchdowns, the first to WR Alex Williams for ten yards.
The last score came on a pass play when Doucette connected with WR Matt Powers, making the final score 42-0. After the game, head coach Johnny Ray was called into question about the last scoring drive. "I tell my boys to play as if they were behind. I tell them to keep playing until the final whistle. If they were behind, we wouldn't even be having this conversation." The coach went on to say,"The object is to win the game, period, end of story! Those boys would not slack if they were behind, and I don't want them to slack in a game like this." Next week, the SEC's newest team will face SEC powerhouse LSU.

Overpowering!
Tigers are demoralized in 33-3 whipping by New World Order.
Coming off an impressive win over the UAB Blazers last week, the NWO Outsiders entered their first ever Southeastern Conference run as they welcomed the #24 ranked LSU Tigers into Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama today. The Outsiders proceded to demolish the Tigers as they punished LSU 33-3. The scoring fest started when LOLB Aaron Watson ran an interception back 32 yards for the first touchdown in the game, making the score 7-0. Kicker Scott McKinny then kicked a 42 yard field goal to make it 10-0 with 5:26 in the first.
LSU came back as K Dylan Malone kicked a 26 yard field goal at 13:21 in the 2nd quarter, making the score 10-3. However, NWO QB Aaron Cantrell connected with WR Alex Williams for a 12 yard touchdown pass with 1:55 before halftime making the score 17-3. In the 3rd, Cantrell again connected with Williams, this time for a 48 yard touchdown pass, making the score 24-3 with 6:54 left in the period. HB Nick Rhodes scored with 1:47 in the 3rd with a 2 yard run, making the score 31-3. The NWO defense got into the act as they sacked LSU QB Eric Jenkins with 11:21 left in the game as the Outsiders won 33-3.
After the game, Coach Johnny Ray praised his team for a job well done. "I told them that all that hard work would pay off in the end, and this is the proof." Coach Johnny Ray further added,"This team is showing that they will not be denied. They are out to prove a point, and they are on their way to do just that." LSU's coach was asked about the game."We just didn't do what we were supposed to do in the game. We were not mentally ready today. We'll work on the weaknesses and come back in next weeks game." The Outsiders go 2-0, 1-0 in the SEC, while LSU comes in at 0-2 for the season.

Close Battle
New World Order lose in gut-wrenching fashion to Ole Miss.
After a huge victory over LSU at home last week, the NWO University Outsiders took their show on the road to face the tough 2-0 Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford, Mississippi. The game was a traditional SEC scrap all the way, but the Outsiders came up just short of the goal as they lose their first game of the season 27-24.
The NWO got the scoring off as QB Aaron Cantrell tossed one 58 yards to WR Anthony Mackey for the first touchdown at 3:03 in the first quarter to make it 7-0. NWO kicker Scott McKinney kicked a 23 yarder at 10:38 in the second to go up 10-0. Ole Miss kicker Stephen Joseph made one from 41 yards out to put his team on the board 10-3.
With 3:21 left in the second, Cantrell connected with WR Matt Powers for 54 yards to make the score 17-3. However, Ole Miss came back witha drive, capped off with a 28 yard field goal to make the score 17-6. The third quarter belonged to Ole Miss as HB Johnny Kilpatrick ended a drive with a 2 yard scamper to make the score 17-13 with 11:14 left in the quarter.
At 3:37 in the third, Ole Miss QB Antwain Jones hit WR Tom Williams for 20 yards to take the lead 17-20. In the fourth, CB Derek Doty was at the right place at the right time to take an interception 95 yards to another Ole Miss touchdown to make the game 17-27. The Outsiders took the ball and scored with 10:12 left in the game as HB Jeff Wesley took it in from 2 yards out to make the score 24-27.
In the closing seconds of the game, NWO's Aaron Cantrell connected with Mackey at around the Ole Miss 5 yard line. However, a video replay showed that Mackey's foot was out of bounds, ending the drive.
After the game, NWO Coach Johnny Ray had nothing but praise for his team. "We made mistakes in the game, sure. There were two field goals that were missed, but you can deal with that. I'm proud of my boys, and we will come back in the next game."
The Outsiders carry a 2-1 record into an off week, while Ole Miss is still undefeated at 3-0. In other SEC scores from week 3:
Alabama 48 Duke 10
Arkansas 21 Georgia 24

Not Even a Contest New World Order takes the Huskies to the woodshed. The wrong place at the wrong time. This phrase has been used time and time again, and never did it apply more than it did this week. After a very close loss to Ole Miss, and a week off, the NWO University Outsiders were determined to make someone pay, and they did just that. The Outsiders demolished the UConn Huskies 51-3 to send a message to their upcoming oponents. That message? Don't take us lightly. "This team showed that they are the best! And we will continue to do so the rest of the season!" said Outsider coach Johnny Ray. UConn got on the board first as K Bernard Brown hit a 40 yarder to make the score 3-0 UConn. Later in the first, Outsider QB Aaron Cantrell hooked up with WR Daniel Robinson for 8 yards to put NWO up 7-3. A fumble return by FS Justin Deloach would put the Outsiders up 14-3. The second quarter saw UConn threaten several times, but neither team gained an edge to halftime. The Outsiders took control of the third and fourth quarters as they scored four touchdowns and three fieldgoals. The Outsiders make their way back home to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles before starting a tough series starting with a trip to take on the Georgia Bulldogs, a homecoming game with the South Carolina Gamecocks, a trip to Arkansas to face the Arkansas Razorbacks, and a dramatic home game against the undefeated Florida Gators.

The Outsiders Blank the Eagles The Outsiders shut down Eastern Michigan 55-0.The New World Order University Outsiders demolished the Eastern Michigan University Eagles 55-0, in what could be described as a tune up game before next week's game against the Georgia Bulldogs. HB Nick Rhodes showed that he can score in many ways as he was on the business end of a 7 yard pass from QB Aaron Cantrell to make the score 7-0 at 8:44 in the 1st. At 6:43 in the 1st quarter, Chad Adams scored with a 3 yard pass to bring the score 14-0. The second quarter saw HB Tyler Smith and HB Nick Rhodes score a pair of touchdowns to make the score 28-0 going into halftime. The highlight of the quarter was Rhodes 49 yard run, which is the longest run so far in the season. The third quarter started with a 28 yard fieldgoal by K Scott McKinney to make the score 31-0 at 9:55. Coach Johnny Ray then brought in the second team to finish out the game. HB Tyler Smith scored for a second time in the game, as he caught a 32 yard pass from QB Rory Doucette. At 14:56 in the fourth quarter, K Scott McKinney scored again with a 28 yard fieldgoal to up the score 41-0. HB Tyler Smith scored his third touchdown with a 4 yard rush, and WR Alex Williams finished the game with a 31 yard pass fro QB Rory Doucette to make the final score 55-0. Once again, Coach Johnny Ray was called into question about running up the score. This was the response he gave the press, "This is the second time I have been told that we have been running up the score, and I am getting tired of it! If Georgia were to win next week, say, 55-7, or Florida were to beat us 75-0, or Alabama were to play us and whip is 68-7, nobody in this room, and the announcers in the booth would be saying a thing about that! But we win by a one sided score like today, everybody wants to down us, call us unsportsman like! Again, I tell my boys not to let up on anybody, and I do not back off of that!". Next week, the Outsiders travel to Athens, Georgia, to take on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Before the Bulldogs could regroup, TE Chad Adams recovered a kickoff fumble recovery to carry the Outsiders to a 14-3 lead at 8:43. After the initial shock, the Bulldogs recovered as Chaz Johnson hit a booming 43 yard fieldgoal at 4:47 in the second, making the score 14-10. New World Order hangs 42 points on the Razorbacks. The NWO Outsiders continue their winning ways as they defeat the Arkansas Razorbacks 42-14. This puts the Outsiders on track to make their very first bowl game in the NCAA. The win came with a price as HB Nick Rhodes is done for the season with a broken collarbone. However, Tyler Smith will take his place and hope to match Rhodes's season. The Outsiders next game is at home against the #10 Florida Gators.
