NAWA Glory 11/18/06
A recap from this past Sunday Night where we see the concluding moments of the Sixty Mintue Iron Man Match, with Teddy Hart pulling out the win, winning the first fall with just seconds to go after a bout that went 0-0 against Miles Stylish. We see Stylish and Kurt Angle getting into a brawl, with Angle managing to put Stylish in a facelock and nearly put him out. Elsewhere, Abyss ran in and wiped out the NAWA World Champion with the Black Hole Slam, serving him notice. Earlier in the tonight, Abyss destroyed the former three time World Champion Raven in a match that went seconds. We also see the brutal brawl between Harry Harris and Samoa Joe that ended in a double countout but the brawl after the match was just exciting as the one prior to the match.
We see the press conference for NAWA StarClash on December 18th where it is announced that the main event will feature Kurt Angle making his New Age Wrestling Alliance in ring debut in his first match in over four months against Miles Stylish! Also, not to be out done, we will see Harry Harris squaring off against Samoa Joe one more time and this time it will be inside the confines of a fifteen foot high steel cage! The fans in the arena viewing the pretape cheer loudly and Larry Sweeney steps in, to announce that the monster, the force of destruction known as Abyss is now the number one contender for the NAWA World Title and will challenge Teddy Hart for the belt on December 18th at StarClash 06. A huge triple main event at StarClash 06, you want to order and not miss a minute. A special Monday night NAWA Pay Per View.
We head to the arena where “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins plays and out comes Harry Harris to a loud round of cheers. Harris announces that his match with Samoa Joe last Thursday was taxing but it ended based on a limitation of the rules, a countout. It will be avoided on December 18th, where there will be no countouts, no disqualifications, and no time limits. It will be pinfall or submission inside the steel cage. Harry Harris announces that no man who has ever competed in the New Age Wrestling Alliance has ever been in more cage matches than he has. He is a master inside the cage. Harris says that twenty two months to be undefeated, to never be pinned or forced to submit is a very long time. However, for all good things, there must come an end. Harry Harris says he'll be the first person to beat Samoa Joe in the New Age Wrestling Alliance.
The fans boo as Nigel McGuinness makes his way down to the ring. McGuiness talks about how he sat in the back and listened to Harry Harris monopolize all of the air time but he's yesterday's news. A relic of the past. He hasn't been NAWA World Champion for two years, not that he was much to speak of when he was champion, with injuries ending his reigns prematurely, which may have saved Harris some disappointment. Nigel McGuinness says that Harris will be destroyed by Samoa Joe and Nigel McGuinness throws out a challenge to Samoa Joe, so he can be the one to end the undefeated streak and also adds that he might take Joe's NAWA Television Title as well. Harris talks about how 2006 was a rough year but its going to end with him beating Joe to end his undefeated streak and his new year's resolution for 2007 is to become the NAWA World Champion once again. He says that Nigel has gotten a few victories but hasn't been here that long. Technically speaking he is undefeated and has made an impact. Harris challenges Nigel to a match tonight, saying that he's going to be the first person to beat Nigel McGuinness in the New Age Wrestling Alliance, a sign of things to come for Joe at StarClash 06. Nigel accepts, but promises that Harris won't get an easy time. After that back and forth, the match is on.

We see Jerry Lynn arrive in the back, when Dan Marion tries to get a word with him about what he did to the Gambler at Truth or Consequences. Lynn states that no matter what he does, the fans don't respect him and are willing to cheer someone with marginal talent like the Gambler. He's been in this business for nearly twenty years and he had to bust his ass to get where he is while the Gambler was given a chance because Matt Harms was a mark for his gimmick. Lynn says that the Gambler was lucky that was all he suffered. Lynn calls his opponent tonight Alex Shelley another disrespectful snot that doesn't deserve to be in the same arena that Jerry Lynn and Lynn is going to remind us why he is the most dangerous men ever in the New Age Wrestling Alliance.

We see Miles Stylish making his way down to the ringside area, with a microphone. He talks about how last Sunday, Teddy Hart retained the NAWA World Title just barely and proved nothing, with one flash pin on Stylish in the entire Iron Man Match. Stylish says that Hart can enjoy another month or two in the sun because Stylish has other matters on his mind but he will be getting his belt back sooner or later. Stylish talks about Kurt Angle, talking about how Angle walked into his world when he entered to the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Stylish is the one who is the greatest in this company and Angle was great compared those from the company that he came from and he is exceptional compared to the average professional wrestler, he's pretty good, no pushover in the ring, but Miles Stylish is the greatest professional wrestler in the world today and he doesn't need a stupid piece of tin around his neck to affirm that fact. And that is the one thing that is in fact true. Stylish says that he hopes Angle is watching, because he's going to show him just a little taste of what getting in the ring with Miles Stylish at StarClash 06 will be all about. Yet, he managed to keep the belt around his waist outlasting Miles Stylish in the sixty minute Iron Man Match. Hart then says afterwards, he was jumped by Abyss. Abyss is a dangerous man, he took out a man that Teddy Hart went to hell and back with on a couple of Pay Per Views, Raven, within ten seconds last Sunday and he's a force of utter destruction, who seems to welcome pain and returns it ten fold on his opponents. Hart says that at StarClash 06, he'll be defending the belt against Abyss and once again, many people around the world, are preparing for a brand new NAWA World Champion. Hart talks about how three years of hard work and determination in this company lead to this moment and he's not going to lose the NAWA World Championship this soon. We see Sweeney standing on the ramp, yelling at Hart that he just ran his mouth against the wrong monster and he got more than he bargained for. Had Sweeney not interfered, it is horrifying to think what Abyss could have done to Teddy Hart and its all quite grim. Abyss is perhaps the most dangerous opponent that Teddy Hart has ever faced.

Lynn states that no matter what he does, the fans don't respect him and are willing to cheer someone with marginal talent like the Gambler.
