Got to thinking about this. We all have a certain way we like to use TNM - the way we book, the way we write, the wrestlers (or types of wrestlers) we use. So I got to wondering, where do you think there is room for improvement in what you do? Like what do you wish you were more adept at?
For me, I am trying to get my writing a bit more diverse. When I do a few cards in a short period of time, I realize how my match descriptions can get to sound a bit similar. I also would like to take some bigger risks. I get so set in trying to do logical booking that I feel it cuts off taking some risks to see if I can get some angles or certain wrestlers over.

Hmm - interesting question. For me, it would be figuring out a better way to abbreviate what is going on in the ring. I have cut down a lot of the extras that I used to add to matches, but I still think I blab on and on at times when I don't need to. It not only makes my cards feel too long, but it also makes me take too long in writing a card.
Another issue I have is having these angles I want to run that are 3-4 months long (or maybe even 6 months), but I also have to find ways to drag them out. You can only do so much with guys before it grows stale. So I guess finding ways to keep the angles fresh and entertaining is something I need to work on. I feel I do an okay job of it, but there is definite room for improvement.
As for making the writing more diverse, I kind of like it that most people could read a card from Rey, Ryan, myself, Peter, Jeff, wickedrex, Matt, Sean, Liller, or Justin and know who wrote it. I do agree that it's important people change things up some otherwise it can get a little boring to write. But I think the reader doesn't mind the familiarity.
Risky angles are tricky. For as much as we say we want feedback but we will continue to run the angles we want, it's a tough decision to make when everybody doesn't like a certain angle. I want to write what I like, but if all the readers are saying that they wish I'd change something, it's hard to not take their ideas into consideration.

I definitely agree with Josh on cutting down on actual in-ring work. I really don't want to specify any moves but perhaps the finish and maybe a high spot or two.
Other than that, I'm constantly trying to write in a dynamic fashion, and actually consider the TNM hobby as a way to keep my English writing skills fresh and maybe improve them too.
On the booking side, I think I often go for surprising twists, but try not to take it to the Russo-side of things. I also have some "swing and misses" as well, like the Kong-feud where she fought guys or the Sarita-storyline with the jobbers, which I honestly don't know what to do with right now.
I feel comfortable writing a circuit based around a TV show and regular PPVs, but would like to be better writing Indy-shows (which is basically what GCW and NWF is). When my TV deal with TNAW is up, I get the chance of trying just that.

I would have to say that the MAIN thing I want to change would be my booking style. I have found myself sticking to logical booking(s), and fearing the idea of straying too far from the "norm". I would like to try some new things, but I seem to have forgotten how to "build" characters and create angles around them...

Some of the things I really like about my booking is how I try to keep the history of my circuit in the story lines. One of the main stories within my Taz title reign is how many title defenses he has compared to Jun Akiyama who currently has the most in company history.
I also like the little things like at my big show of the year A Night to Remember 2002 it took place in St. Louis and I had Harley Race and Ted Dibiase involved due to their historical importance to that city. The same with dedicating the 2003 G1 to The Sheik when it took place in Detroit.
I also like when I do my yearly "tours" of international destinations and how I can write interviews or stories based on where the company is touring.
Same thing with the concept of the monthly mid south coliseum shows.
These are things that are kind of outside the box of writing for the actual wrestlers that I personally really like for my federation and keep me entertained.
Things I don't like are the fact that I've been using the same group of wrestlers for a long time in my circuits. For some reason I can never really pull the trigger on bringing in a big name U.S. star like a Cena, Orton today, the same way when I wrote this circuit 10 years ago I never used Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels. This is one thing I'm working on changing. I'd like to attempt to write using wrestlers I've never had in a circuit before.
I also wish I could keep up with posting 1 show a week, but it's almost impossible when I get busy outside of TNM land!

I feel similar. I feel very confident in my standard wrestling booking skills; I think a promotion I ran would be very solid, entertaining and logical. However, I doubt I would have greenlit either the nWo or Austin v. McMahon because they each strayed way outside the "standard wrestling logic" box. So that's a thing--I'd like to expand my booking range without sacrificing the classics.

After reading the other responses, and thinking some more on it, I've come up with something else I'd like to change. It's been brought to my attention that I use a certain ending most times, and that's something that I really want to get away from, because I don't want my booking to seem "simple". I would love to have long, drawn-out angles that will eventually lead to something big down the road, but they don't seem possible (in my mind) to be thought of...
