Hey guys! Time Consumer Wrestling is a fun little project I've recently started working on. It's actually consuming more time than it was intended to. This is my first attempt at running a booked circuit in at least 10 years. Well, 95% of it is booked. 18 of my first 20 roster hires were 'm' hires, with the last two spots being given to tag team partners. As you'll come to notice my database is made up of wrestlers mostly from the 80's and ECW '94-98, with some international and current superstars sprinkled in. Jump to a Card ------------------ * 1/1/Y1, This is the Beginning * 1/8/Y1, Street Fighter; Tag Team Edition * 1/15/Y1, Magnificent, Isn't It? * 1/29/Y1, Brawl at Pier 6 * 2/12/Y1, Makes Cambodia Looks Like Kansas * 2/26/Y1, The Ties that Bind * 3/12/Y1, Lucky Number Seven

Well the 'm' key certainly gave me quite the array of wrestlers to work with. The card actually turned out better than I had hoped and nearly all the match ratings were higher than I would have thought for a brand new circuit. This could be a good sign. You won't find any Championship matches on the shows for a few weeks as I'm trying to establish characters and get a few angles over first. Anyways, on with the show!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THIS IS THE BEGINNING January 1, Year 1
The fans in attendance are welcomed to an exciting night of wrestling action by the nameless ring announcer. He runs down a few of tonight's matches including the Main Event where the odd pairing of "King Kong" Bruiser Brody & The Miz will take on the exciting combination of Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat & "Magnificent" Don Muraco!
Without much further hesitation, our first competitors are introduced. Delirious is out first taking his time to the ring, stopping every few steps to give a dark, ominous stare to some unknowing fan. It doesn't take long before he is showered with boo's. His opponent, "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, who comes out to a loud ovation.
Christopher Daniels pinned Delirious after a vertical facebuster in 0:12:39. Christopher Daniels suffered a back injury. He will be out for approximately 3 weeks. Rating: ** 3/4
When the bell rang, Delirious practically went crazy and had what seemed like an endless amount of energy but Christopher Daniels was the better wrestler tonight.
Out next is Hercules accompanied by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan & Big John Studd. Heenan rudely grabs the microphone from the ring announcer to make an announcement of his own. He introduces Hercules & Big John Studd as the first members of The Heenan Family. He makes it very clear that the Heenan Family will dominate in TCW and when it comes time to crown Champions, expect the Heenan Family to take all the gold. Hercules' opponent, Koko B. Ware, is then introduced. He flaps to the ring with Frankie on his arms and gives a high five to the lucky fans in the first row.
Hercules defeated Koko B. Ware when Koko B. Ware passed out in the Backbreaker in 0:08:56. Rating: *** 1/2 [Bobby Heenan interfered against Koko B. Ware.]
Heenan certainly proved to be quite the loud mouthed distraction here tonight. After taking some punishment in the early goings, Koko rallied a comeback with support from the audience. As he hooked Herc for the Ghostbuster Heenan hopped on the ring apron to grab his attention. It only took that brief hesitation from Koko for Hercules to get him into the Backbreaker, his version of the torture rack.
Bobby Heenan wasn't gone very long following the match as he accompanied Big John Studd to the ring for the following Six-Man Tag Team Match. Studd's partners are the disgusting duo known as The Nasty Boys. The signature music of "Flyboy" Rocco Rock & Johnny Grunge sets the crowd into a house party as they make their way to the ring waving their hands back and forth. Then the always entertaining Junkyard Dog boogies his way to the ring to join his partners!
The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) and Big John Studd defeated Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) and Junkyard Dog when Studd pinned JYD after a sidewalk slam in 0:10:58. Rating: * 1/2 [Hercules interfered against Junkyard Dog.]
Junkyard Dog was in complete control at the end of this one. He had Studd reeling while Public Enemy and The Nasty Boys brawled outside of the ring. As the referee struggled to gain some order on the outside, Hercules came to ringside with his steel chain and nailed JYD in the back with it. JYD then staggered into a sidewalk slam from Studd and before The Public Enemy could make the save JYD was pinned.
The vile Russian Vladimir Kozlov heads to the ring scowling. His opponent tonight is the Whole F'N Show, Rob Van Dam!
Rob Van Dam defeated Vladimir Kozlov by disqualification in 0:13:50. Rating: **
After a good showing by Kozlov, Van Dam mounted a comeback with his signature moves and a barrage of kicks. Having no other way to defend himself, Kozlov pulled the referee in front of one of RVD's spin kicks getting himself disqualified.
Following a brief intermission, a few announcements were made. Next week, Hercules will face Junkyard Dog. A rematch will take place with Rob Van Dam going against Vladimir Kozlov. Also, in next week's Main Event, The Nasty Boys will battle Public Enemy... in a Street Fight!
"Beautiful" Bobby Eaton heads to the ring for the next match looking confident. His opponent tonight is former Olympic weightlifting champion Ken Patera.
Bobby Eaton pinned Ken Patera with the Alabama Jam in 0:15:51. Rating: *** 1/2
Patera earned the fans cheers tonight as they grew tired of the cocky attitude of Bobby Eaton. Eaton's technical ability could not be denied, however. After an outstanding back and forth match Eaton squeaked out a victory with his patented Alabama Jam.
Hardcore Holly was first out for the next match. He looks aggravated as usual and the fans are having fun antagonizing him. His opponent is George "The Animal" Steele who heads to the ring looking completely lost but still having a good time.
Hardcore Holly pinned George Steele after a headsmash into the turnbuckle in 0:06:16. Rating: -** 1/4
Holly had a difficult time figuring out the unorthodox style of Steele. Steele had the match well in hand when a particular turnbuckle pad caught his eye. In no time he was tearing into it and feasting on it's contents. Holly seized the opportunity, slammed The Animal's head into the exposed turnbuckle and picked up the win.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your Main Event!
The Miz came to the ring first and in no time was on the microphone calling himself "AWESOME!" His partner, "King Kong" Bruiser Brody rushed the ring wildly. Even The Miz was ready to defend himself from the unpredictable Brody. Out next were there opponents and clearly the fan favorites, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat" & "Magnificent" Don Muraco who came to the ring together showing unity.
Your Main Event... Ricky Steamboat and Don Muraco defeated Bruiser Brody and The Miz when Steamboat pinned Miz with the Flying Cross Body Press in 0:26:04. Rating: *** 1/2
A tremendous main event! The match broke down and all four men were in the ring. Muraco hit an enormous powerslam on The Miz but before he could try a pin, Brody caught him with a clothesline and both men went over the ropes to the floor. The Miz slowly got to his feet when Steamboat flew off the top with a Flying Cross Body Press for the win!
The referee raised Steamboat's hand in victory as Muraco rolled in the ring. In the blink of an eye, Muraco blindsided Steamboat! The fans' cheers turned to gasps and then boos as they watched Muraco lay a beating on Steamboat. The show closes with Muraco standing over Steamboat with his hands raised in victory.
Card Rating: *3/4

What an interesting array of wrestlers for this circuit. Going to take me a bit to get into such an odd mix. Liked the main event angle. Big fan of Steamboat and Muraco, and glad you turned the Magnificent One heel - he's so much better than way.
I'll be reading!

Thanks Ryan! Pro Wrestling IMMORTAL is what inspired me to try a roster like this. And I think I'll have a lot more fun running with guys that I really like instead of fighting with myself to hire a realistic roster.
Steamboat and Muraco jumped out at me right away. Heel Muraco is in my Top 5 of all time. If there were two guys on the roster that would bring people back it was these two so it felt natural to pair them up from the start.

So far, so good.
The roster is something entirely different, but it's not a bunch of guys I don't know. I can get behind a majority of the guys.
It'll be fun seeing you do a mostly booked circuit. I liked your last circuit, but the only thing I would have said about it would be that I would have preferred a bit more booking to make things a little more clearer. Looks like that'll happen here.
Love the Muraco turn. He's far better as a heel.
And I want to see a JYD/Heenan feud. That has money signs all over it. Hopefully that's where you are going.
Good job, Vertigo.

I'm feeling pretty good about this show. Storylines and characters are developing and overall match quality improved (despite the DUD on the card). On with the show!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STREET FIGHTER; TAG TEAM EDITION Saturday, January 8, Year 1
Delirious heads to the ring for our opening match. Tonight his opponent comes all the way from Jalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. Introducing... Octagon!
Octagon and Delirious battled to a draw in 0:15:00. Rating: *** 1/4
A fast paced, back and forth match to get things under way. Unfortunately a winner was never determined as the time limit expired. The fans chanted for some extra time and Octagon was in favor of that. However, Delirious, frustrated that he couldn't put Octagon away, left the ring huffing and puffing all the way to the locker room.
"Beautiful" Bobby Eaton makes his way to the ring completely focused on the match ahead. The man with the green tongue, George "The Animal" Steele makes his entrance to a decent ovation. The kids are happy to see him at least.
Bobby Eaton pinned George Steele with the Alabama Jam in 0:03:57. Rating: DUD
Eaton took little time picking apart the confused Steele. After a brief burst of offense from The Animal, Eaton chopped the larger man down at the legs and put him away with the Alabama Jam. When Steele finally managed to get to his feet he forgot all about his loss and ate away a turnbuckle, sending debris flying everywhere.
Vladimir Koslov makes his way to the ring for the upcoming rematch. Last week he used a referee to defend himself against Rob Van Dam and was promptly disqualified. RVD then comes out to an enormous ovation. He gets in the ring and points to himself saying "Rob.... Van.... " Kozlov jumps him before the bell!
[Rematch from Last Week] Rob Van Dam pinned Vladimir Kozlov with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:09:43. Rating: ** 3/4
Kozlov dominated most of the match but he looked quite intent with just beating on his opponent rather than winning the match. RVD weathered the storm and with the fans behind him was able to conquer the Russian and finish him with the Five Star Frog Splash!
Following the match, as RVD posed for the fans, "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton made his way to the ring. He got right in the face of RVD but didn't say a word. RVD wasn't sure what to think. As Kozlov stirred on the mat, slowing regaining consciousness, Bobby Eaton climbed to the top rope and came off with an Alabama Jam onto Kozlov! Eaton then backed out of the ring without ever taking his eyes off RVD. RVD looked at the fans and just shrugged his shoulders, not knowing what to think of what he just saw.
Bobby "The Brain" Heenan leads his man, Hercules, to the ring for our next match. His opponent tonight is Junkyard Dog who is looking for a bit of revenge against Hercules who cost him his match last week.
Junkyard Dog defeated Hercules by disqualification in 0:10:20. Rating: * 1/4 [Bobby Heenan and Big John Studd interfered against Junkyard Dog.]
This wasn't much of a wrestling match as these two brawlers slugged away at each other for 10 minutes. JYD eventually got the upper hand and looked as if he was well on his way to victory. After slamming Hercules and attempting a pin, Big John Studd jumped in the ring and blatantly broke up the pin resulting in an immediate disqualification. The Heenan Family then continued to pummel JYD until Public Enemy hit the ring, running the Heenan Family off.
Bobby Heenan then got on the microphone. He asked Public Enemy how they dare stick their nose in Heenan Family business? He then went on to say that if Public Enemy can survive their Street Fight tonight with The Nasty Boys then next week they should see just how good they really are by stepping in the ring with Hercules & Big John Studd. Public Enemy accepted Heenan's challenge.
"Magnificent" Don Muraco cut a promo in the ring saying he doesn't appreciate Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat stealing his pinfall last week and that he doesn't share the spotlight with anybody. He said Steamboat deserved what happened to him. Ricky Steamboat then confronted Muraco face to face and looked ready to fight tonight. Rather than fighting, Muraco offered Steamboat a chance to do the same thing to him. Muraco turned his back knowing that Steamboat was too much of a good guy to hit him while his back was turned. The fans nearly convinced Steamboat to do it just before The Miz hit the ring and attacked Steamboat. Muraco was forced out of the ring by an official just as he looked like he was going to put the boots to Steamboat as well. Our next match was on!
Ricky Steamboat pinned The Miz after a flying axhandle in 0:22:49. Rating: **** 1/2
What an incredible match! Despite being jumped in the beginning of the match, Steamboat fought back and for the second week in a row he got a pinfall over The Miz. You get the feeling that The Miz isn't just going to live these losses down, though. Steamboat seems to be making much more enemies then friends here in TCW.
Following a brief intermission a few announcements were made. Next week Delirious and Octagon once again face each other, this time the time limit will be extended to 30 minutes! Tag Team action as Heenan Family members Hercules & Big John Studd will battle Public Enemy! And in next week's Main Event, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat will collide with "Magnificent" Don Muraco!
Hardcore Holly is the first competitor to the ring for our next match. His opponent tonight is fan favorite Ken Patera.
Ken Patera made Hardcore Holly submit to the Full Nelson in 0:08:23. Rating: ***
This was a much better match than expected. Hardcore Holly made the mistake of trying to match power with power with Patera and it led to his eventual loss. Not only did Patera defeat Holly, but he forced him to submit! Quite impressive.
"The Birdman" Koko B. Ware flapped his arms to the ring for our next match. Then his opponent, "King Kong" Bruiser Brody rushed the ring going berzerk!
Bruiser Brody pinned Koko B. Ware with the Bombs Away in 0:01:36. Rating: **
It was a dominate win for Brody as he just beat the living hell out of Koko. After putting Koko down with the Bombs Away knee drop he continued to beat on him until referees were able to pull him off. Brody didn't seem to have anything against Koko, he just wanted to beat somebody up. He threw a couple of chairs wildly into the air before finally leaving the ringside area.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your Main Event!
From Nastyville, The Nasty Boys head to the ring yelling at the fans and generally being disgusting. The fans wave their arms in unison as Public Enemy then make their way to the ring carrying a table! Tonight the teams will collide in a match that is tailor made for them... a Street Fight!
Your Main Event... [Street Fight] Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) defeated The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) when Grunge pinned Sags after a swinging neckbreaker in 0:13:33. Rating: ** 1/4
This was the wild brawl everyone expected it to be. Almost immediately all four men were battling it out on the floor using anything that wasn't nailed down. Johnny Grunge and Jerry Sags were the unfortunate ones who suffered lacerations but they continued to fight. Rocco Rock used the table effectively as he put Knobbs through it with his Drive-By somersault off the top rope. Shortly after, Grunge was able to pin Sags after a swinging neckbreaker. It looked like a house party as the show came to an end!
Card Rating: **1/2

I'm happy that you aren't insulting certain wrestlers like George Steele. Instead of commenting on what a poor wrestler he is, you comment on the match like a company man would. I hate it when people bash their own talent, and you've avoided that.
Interesting exchange between Eaton and Kozlov. Not sure where you will take it, but a feud or a tag team with the two would be highly entertaining.
I can see Public Enemy and JYD being a fun six man tag.
Good win for Steamboat, and I'm digging the continuity you have going here. Everything seems well thought out so far. Muraco's reasoning for attacking Steamboat is sound, and should kickstart a good series of matches between the two.
Brody is going to be a challenge for anyone that meets him in the ring.
Public Enemy needed this win to set them up for a match with Studd and Hercules, but both teams came out strong.
I'm really enjoying the circuit. Can't wait to see what you have planned next. Also looking forward to who you decide to run with as champions.

Re: Joshi,
George Steele is clearly not going to have match of the night on any night, but he has a charm to him if you're familiar with his babyface work. I want to do something with him that will get him over without exposing his bad workrate. Might take a bit though.
Kozlov was just sort of a pawn there. Eaton and RVD are headed into something which I'm excited for. Never liked RVD in TNM but the actual thought of a prime Eaton against RVD excites me.
I'm a huge fan of Brody! Booking him is going to be fun.

My first no-show. It threw a minor wrench into things but nothing that prevented the story from continuing. JYD is all over the first half of the card thanks to the no-show. He's was really my only option though. And the Card Rating is the best yet and that makes me happy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Magnificent, Isn't It? Saturday, January 15, Year 1
The show opens with Junkyard Dog making his way to the ring first. The crowd cheers him on as he does a little boogie on the ring apron. The fans cheers to turn boos at the sight of Hardcore Holly, the opponent of JYD.
Junkyard Dog pinned Hardcore Holly with the Thump Powerslam in 0:08:06. Rating: 1/4* (Rob Van Dam no-showed.)
JYD looked great in tonight's opening match as he went blow for blow with Holly. The fans erupted as he put him away with the Thump Powerslam.
George "The Animal" Steele made his way through the curtain, sticking his tongue out and generally just enjoying himself. Then out of nowhere Bruiser Brody ambushes him!
Bruiser Brody defeated George Steele by countout in 0:02:22. Rating: 3/4*
Bruiser Brody showed no remorse as he just destroyed George Steele! The Animal never even had a chance to defend himself as Brody stayed on him and left him lying outside of the ring to be counted out! For the second week in a row Brody has demolished his opponent just for the sake of beating someone up. Brody paced ringside, threatening the time keeper, ring announcer, and all the fans in the front row before hussing his way back to the locker room.
The Miz cut a promo in the ring saying that he is the must-see wrestler in TCW and that when the time comes to crown a Champion he will be the first one to wear the gold. Just as he was about to say how "AWESOME!" he thinks he is, Junkyard Dog came to the ring for his second match of the night.
The Miz pinned Junkyard Dog after an inverted DDT in 0:15:07. Rating: -1/2*
Despite having already wrestled earlier tonight as a replacement Junkyard Dog was up for the challenge of competing twice. However he did not count on Bobby "The Brain" Heenan coming to ringside to do color commentary. Heenen didn't get physically involved but just his presence at ringside proved to be a distraction to JYD. The Miz countered the Thump Powerslam with an inverted DDT to pick up the win. Heenan could be seen mocking JYD as he left color commentary and went back to the dressing room.
Up next is a rematch from last week when Delirious and Octagon wrestled to a 15-minute time limit draw. This time the time limit has been extended to 30 minutes!
[30-Minute Time Limit Rematch] Delirious and Octagon battled to a double pin in 0:12:03. Rating: ** 3/4
Once again these two cruiserweights went back and forth with no one gaining a clear advantage. In the end Octagon nailed a German suplex on Delirious and the referee counted to 3. The crowd erupted as Octagon cheered what he thought was a victory. The referee then pointed out that both men's shoulders were down and that this match is a no contest!
Bobby "The Brain" Heenan led Hercules & Big John Studd to the ring for the next match. Their opponents are the duo from South Philly... Public Enemy!
The Heenan Family (Big John Studd and Hercules) defeated Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) when Hercules pinned Grunge after an elbowdrop in 0:16:36. Rating: *** 3/4 [Bobby Heenan interfered against Johnny Grunge.]
Shortly into the match Heenan tries to interject himself. This brought Junkyard Dog to ringside to even the odds. In the end, Junkyard Dog and the referee were occupied with Heenan and this gave The Nasty Boys an opportunity to interfere. As Rocco Rock was on the top rope Sags hopped onto the apron and shoved him off. A groggy Hercules covered him for the win.
After the match JYD got on the microphone and challenged Hercules, Studd, and The Nasties to a 4-on-4 match. He said he has a partner but he isn't saying who. We will have to wait until the next event to find out.
Following a brief intermission a few announcements are made. In two weeks TCW will return to action and one of the matches already signed for that night will be The Nasty Boys teaming with Hercules & Big John Studd to take on Public Enemy, Junkyard Dog, and a partner yet to be named. Also, since we still had no clear winner in the match between Octagon and Delirious, the two will meet in a return match this time there must be a winner!
Nasty Boy Brian Knobbs makes his way to the ring for the upcoming singles match. He will do battle with Ken Patera who is gaining more and more fans by the week.
Ken Patera pinned Brian Knobbs after an elbowdrop in 0:06:31. Rating: ****
Once again Ken Patera with an exceptional showing that had the fans on their feet following the match. As good a wrestler as Knobbs is he was out of his element here in singles competition. Patera picks up the win and looked unstoppable doing it.
"Beautiful" Bobby Eaton cut a promo in the ring before his match. He said he takes offense to Rob Van Dam calling himself "The Whole F'n Show" when it's Eaton who is the premier wrestler in TCW. He went on to say that not only is he a better wrestler than RVD but that his Alabama Jam is far more impressive than RVD's Five Star Frog Splash.
Bobby Eaton pinned Koko B. Ware with the Alabama Jam in 0:12:58. Rating: ** 1/2
As arrogant as Eaton sounded in his promo he backed up his words with a solid victory tonight over Koko. And his Alabama Jam is quite impressive as it has put down every opponent Eaton has had in TCW.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for Your Main Event...
"Magnificent" Muraco emerges through the curtain to a chorus of boos. Tonight he faces Ricky Steamboat in what should be a very heated match. Muraco attacked his then tag team partner on TCW's first show two weeks ago and last week he antagonized Steamboat by saying he deserved it. Steamboat heads to the ring to a roaring ovation.
Your Main Event Ricky Steamboat pinned Don Muraco after a small package in 0:18:04. Rating: *** 1/2
Steamboat had the advantage early on as he outwrestled Muraco. Muraco forced to the match outside of the ring where he took over with a well timed irish whip reversal sending Steamboat crashing into the ringpost. Muraco then dominated from there until Steamboat, with the fans behind him, mounted a fierce comeback almost defeating Muraco several times. However, Muraco resorted to dirty tactics by pulling a foreign object from his tights and nailing Steamboat in the foreheard with it while Steamboat had him up in the air in a belly to back suplex. Muraco nonchalantly made the cover only to have Steamboat kick out just before a 3 count! Muraco was livid and argued with the referee. As he returned to Steamboat, Steamboat desperately reached up and hooked Muraco in a small package for the win!
After the match Muraco pulled the foreign object from his tights again showing everyone it was brass knuckles! He rained fists down on Steamboat eventually busting him open. The show closed out with Muraco raising his bloody fist in the air while Steamboat lay motionless on the canvas.
Card Rating: ***

I like the continued build for Brody. He looks unstoppable at this point.
Nice way to get Miz the win over JYD without hurting the Dog too much. Miz would be a fine choice for the first World Champion if that's the path you decide to take.
Don't see the double pins too often. Looks like this won't be the last we see of Delirious and Octagon.
The 4-on-4 match should be fun.
Patera and Knobbs putting out a four star match is unexpected.
Eaton and RVD are going to put on a helluva show when they finally meet in the ring. The battle of the Alabama Jam and the Five Star Frog Splash should be a classic.
Loved the main event. You actually had a decisive finish, but without hurting either wrestler. That's hard to do. The feud continues which is also a good thing. These two could carry on circuit long feud and I would never grow tired of it.

Re: Joshi,
Your comments make me feel like my booking is too obvious, haha. I guess that's okay though otherwise my shows might looked booked by Vince Russo. I almost have to request you put "spoiler alerts" before your comments! With that being said, I really don't know who the strap is going on but it should be pretty clear the guys I'm considering. I'm hoping one of them convinces me before show #7.
Delirious and Octagon... honestly... I have no idea how I'm going to end it. I just like the series itself, sort of like the Malenko/Guerrero stuff from ECW '95.
4-stars out of Patera and Knobbs really threw me off. Patera himself has opened my eyes a bit and for a guy I didn't have much planned for, he's making me reconsider how to use him.
I wish I had the creativity to carry Muraco/Steamboat forever. But we'll see how it goes.

The booking isn't obvious. It's just the way I would go with a lot of things. I like booking to surprise me, but if it's only done to surprise people, it's probably not all that great of a job of booking.
I can predict quite a bit of where a lot of circuits are going. But that's only because I've watched a ton of wrestling and written/read a ton of circuits. I'd almost rather have people know where I'm going 75% of the time than being constantly surprised by what I'm doing. If it's the latter then it usually means I've made a big mess of my circuit.
In other words, if I am guessing what the next step is going to be, it's more of a compliment than an insult.

This write up is a bit longer than I would have liked but I think reading through it it doesn't feel long. JYD has a mystery partner tonight and just as an interesting tidbit the guy that showed up was my FOURTH option. The first three picks did not want to sign with me!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brawl at Pier 6 Saturday, January 29, Year 1
The show begins with "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton headed straight to the ring looking very serious. His opponent tonight is the debuting Tajiri who comes out to a great ovation. Before the referee starts the match, Eaton cuts a promo on the microphone. He starts by putting himself over as the most talented wrestler in the company and says his Alabama Jam is one of the most awe-inspiring high flying finishing moves in all of wrestling. Even more than Rob Van Dam's Five Star Frog Splash. He goes on to mention that RVD was competing in tonight's main event match but that he didn't deserve to be in that position, especially since he's done nothing to impress Eaton. This actually brings RVD to the ring where he says he has no problem with Eaton but that if Eaton really thinks he's The Whole F'N Show then he should prove it. Eaton says he's already done so but just so he has RVD's attention, he invites RVD to sit at ringside and watch the match.
Bobby Eaton pinned Tajiri with the Alabama Jam in 0:10:27. Rating: ****
Not to be overshadowed in his debut, Tajiri really took the fight to Bobby Eaton hitting all of his signature moves as the fans and RVD cheered him on. In the end, after countering a top-rope Frankensteiner from Tajiri, Eaton flew off the top with the Alabama Jam to pick up the win. Eaton gave a cocky smirk in RVD's direction and RVD responded mockingly with applause. This only proved to infuriate Eaton as he began ascending the ropes again. He looked as if he was going to come off with another Alabama Jam but RVD quickly hopped in the ring and stood over his fallen friend daring Eaton to jump. Eaton smiled as he climbed down from the ropes and headed to the back knowing he had gotten the attention of Rob Van Dam.
Hardcore Holly came to the ring for the next match. He hasn't had much luck in TCW thus far but he hopes to turn it around tonight. His opponent is Ricky Steamboat, who comes to the ring with a great reaction from the fans. He has a bandaged forehead as a result of Don Muraco's brass knuckles attack at the last show.
Ricky Steamboat pinned Hardcore Holly after a spinning thrust kick in 0:07:21. Rating: **
Steamboat was much more aggressive tonight as he opted to utilize more kicks and chops instead of headlocks and armdrags. It worked out for him as he dispatched Hardcore Holly much easier than expected considering he's still showing the effects of Muraco's assault.
The saga of Delirious and Octagon continues next. These two have wrestled twice before with no winner. Third time's a charm, right?
Delirious and Octagon battled to a no contest in 0:08:21. Rating: *** 3/4 [Bruiser Brody interfered against Delirious.] [Bruiser Brody interfered against Octagon.]
Bruiser Brody, unprovoked and unleashed, stormed the ring during the match and attacked both men! It was complete pandemonium as he Brodyslammed and tossed the much smaller wrestlers. The match had to be thrown out due to interference. The referee couldn't get away fast enough though as he too felt the wrath of a Brody boot. Brody then began circling the ring and tossing chairs, the ring steps, and anything he could get his hands on into the ring! Officials tried to control him but they were either shoved down, punched, or just too intimidated to stop him. Finally, Ken Patera stepped up. Brody seemingly stopped going wild to analyze Patera, a man who is definitely more his size. Patera then dared Brody to try him. In an instant Brody charged Patera and the two came to blows as officials separated them. Despite chants from the fans to "let them fight!" they would have to wait another day.
Bobby "The Brain" Heenan leads his men Hercules & Big John Studd to the ring for the upcoming 4-on-4 match. They are shortly followed by The Nasty Boys who get an equally negative reaction from the fans. Out next is Public Enemy who the fans show support for by waving their hands from side-to-side. And their partners are Junkyard Dog who gets the fans attention by waving out their mystery partner..."The Dog Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner!
Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge), Junkyard Dog and Rick Steiner defeated The Heenan Family (Big John Studd and Hercules) and The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) when JYD pinned Sags after a kneelift in 0:14:49. Rating: * 1/2
There was nothing scientific about this match as all 8 men were there to fight. In the closing moments you would have thought you were watching a battle royal as all the wrestlers were pummeling one another and spilling out to the floor. This left JYD alone with Nasty Boy Sags. JYD was able to pick up the win following a kneelift that left Sags dazed. Following the match, Bobby Heenan screamed at The Nasty Boys for losing the match for the team. Nasty Boy Knobbs had heard enough and grabbed Heenan by the collar of his shirt only to be nailed by Hercules. This set off another full-blown 8 man fight that concluded only after Bobby Heenan instructed his men, Hercules & Studd, to retreat. The Nasty Boys were soon to follow. The Public Enemy, Junkyard Dog, & Rick Steiner celebrated with the fans as we went to intermission.
Following a must needed intermission a few announcements were made regarding the next TCW event in two weeks. Following what had just gone down in the 4-on-4 match, a 4 team Elimination Match has been signed. And since all the registered Tag Teams in TCW are competing in the match... it will be for the TCW Tag Team Championship! Also, the tournament to crown the very first TCW World Champion will begin at the next event with two Quarterfinal Matches! Quarterfinal Match #1 will be Bruiser Brody versus Ken Patera! And Quarterfinal Match #2 will be the winner of tonight's main event between The Miz and Rob Van Dam versus the returning "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels! Now... on with the show!
Vladimir Kozlov stomped his way to the ring while the fans showered him with boos. His opponent tonight is the one and only Koko B. Ware!
Vladimir Kozlov pinned Koko B. Ware after a chokehold in 0:10:55. Rating: ** 3/4
Kozlov rebounds after a slow start in TCW with a convincing victory tonight over Koko. Fans disputed the use of a chokehold from Kozlov but the referee insisted that the chokehold was not of the illegal variety.
"Magnificent" Muraco struts to the ring for our next match with a brash smile across his face. Muraco has been making stomachs turns with his recent actions towards Ricky Steamboat, the last of which was leaving Steamboat a bloody mess last week after nailing him repeatedly with brass knuckles. His opponent tonight is George "The Animal" Steele!
Don Muraco defeated George Steele by disqualification in 0:03:19. Rating: -* [Ricky Steamboat interfered against Don Muraco.]
Steele was having a little too much fun at the start of the match for Muraco's liking. While sticking his tongue out and waving to the fans Muraco sucker punched him. Muraco was fully in charge of this match picking all of his shots and getting under the skin of the fans. At one point he even covered Steele only to lift his shoulders off the mat before the three count. As the referee checked to see if Steele could continue the match Muraco pulled the brass knuckles from his tights with intent of doing serious damage to Steele. Ricky Steamboat immediately rushed into the ring and pulled the knuckles away from Muraco! Steamboat put the knuckles on his own fist while Muraco begged off. The referee saw what was happening and just as Steamboat winded back to give Muraco a taste of his own medicine the referee grabbed Steamboat's fist. This enabled Muraco to duck out of the ring and leave unscathed. The referee went on to award the match to Muraco due to outside interference from Steamboat.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event!
The self-proclaimed "Must-See Superstar" The Miz headed to the ring raising the ire of the fans the entire way. His opponent tonight is Rob Van Dam who walks down the aisle as the fans chant his name in unison. Just before the match was set to begin "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton came to ringside. He grabbed a microphone and posed a question to RVD. Since he was kind enough to allow RVD to sit at ringside during his match earlier tonight, would RVD give him permission to sit at ringside to see "The Whole F'N Show" compete? RVD showed some concern and the fans were quick to tell Eaton to get back to the locker room. Eaton voluntarily grabbed a chair beside the time keeper and sat down.
Your Main Event The Miz pinned Rob Van Dam after an inverted DDT in 0:12:34. Rating: *** 3/4 [Bobby Eaton interfered against Rob Van Dam.]
Every now and then while RVD was in control of the match he would take a look at Eaton to be sure Eaton wasn't up to no good. Eaton always assured RVD that he wasn't going anywhere and that he wanted to see why they called RVD "The Whole F'N Show". As The Miz took control of the match Eaton could be heard shouting encouragement towards Miz. RVD began mounting offense and Eaton grew irritated by the comeback. It looked as if RVD was well on his way to victory before Eaton hopped up on to the ring apron to grab his attention. As the two argued Eaton slapped RVD across the mouth. RVD responded with a spin kick to Eaton's face knocking him off the ring apron! The crowd erupted with cheers. RVD then looked around, saw The Miz was still down, and ascended the ropes. As he flew off with the Five Star Frog Splash The Miz was able to roll away and RVD crashed hard into the mat! The Miz then hit him with an inverted DDT to pick up the win! Eaton left ringside with a fat lip but he was definitely pleased that Rob Van Dam lost tonight in the main event.

Nice opening promo to start the show off. It helps get over the Eaton/RVD feud, and opens up an interesting element the next match with RVD sitting at ringside. I really like this feud you have going with RVD and Eaton. The ending of the match and RVD saving Tajiri helps move things along. Love the term Brodyslam. Brody is going to get massively over with the crazy man gimmick. Good choice on the mystery partner. Rick Steiner fits in well with JYD and Public Enemy. Got a chuckle out of the referee saying that the chokehold was not of the illegal variety in the Kozlov/Ware match. Muraco demolishing Steele is another good job in booking. It makes you feel for Steele while getting Muraco over as one mean dude. Like Steamboat's rescue even if he didn't get his hands on Muraco. Big win for the Miz. He needed that win more than RVD does. Good show, Vertigo.

Bobby Eaton is such an underrated wrestler. Glad to see him getting some love here. I have such a soft spot for Holly, even after all these years. But yeah, Steamboat's going to squash him. Brody is pretty awesome. And like Josh, Brodyslammed is a great term. We'll see how Brody does against someone more his own size. The 8-man tag sounded like a fun brawl. Heenan's not going to make many friends pissing off people left and right like that. Rick Steiner was a good addition. Tag titles! Atta boy, Kozlov. Thanks for coming, Koko. Muraco trying to hurt Steele to get at Steamboat is a brilliant dick move. Muraco got the exact reaction he wanted to. This one is going to boil over and soon. Eaton vs. RVD is going to be fun. And like Josh said, yeah, Miz certainly needed the win more, so good call.

TCW Newsline for February 5, Year 1
Time Consumer Wrestling returns to action next Saturday, February 12 and what a night of wrestling it will be. We have huge news to announce today!
Already signed for next Saturday will be a Four Corners Tag Team Elimination Match for the vacant TCW Tag Team Championship! The four teams involved are Public Enemy, The Nasty Boys, The Heenan Family consisting of Hercules & Big John Studd, and lastly the duo of Junkyard Dog & Rick Steiner.
Also at the last event it was announced that the tournament for the vacant TCW World Championship would begin next week with two Quarterfinal Matches. They are The Miz versus Christopher Daniels and Ken Patera versus Bruiser Brody!
This just in; THREE spots have been filled for the remainder of the TCW World Championship tournament! Due to their showings throughout January, Ricky Steamboat, Don Muraco, and Bobby Eaton have all been added to the tournament. Also just signed for next week; Bobby Eaton will team up with Don Muraco for the first time ever to wrestle Rob Van Dam & Tajiri. Eaton & Muraco are calling this match a warm up before they enter the TCW World Championship tournament in two weeks. However, RVD & Tajiri are looking for some payback against Eaton specifically after what he has said recently and his actions last week.
That's all for the update! We'll see you next week!

I like the idea of using a battle royal to fill the last spot in the tournament. Whoever wins is going to have some huge momentum going into the tournament.

Finally able to get back to this circuit after a couple of weeks of life getting in the way. This was a fun card to run however I've got an injury that mucks up my tournament. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MAKES CAMBODIA LOOK LIKE KANSAS Saturday, February 12, Year 1
The first match of the night will be a Quarterfinals Match in the TCW World Championship tournament. Out first is The Miz. He grabs a microphone and cuts a promo about making history in a few short weeks by becoming the very first TCW Champion. "Because I'm The Miz... and I'm.... AWE-" The music of "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels hits! He's returning from a back injury he suffered a month ago and has a huge opportunity tonight!
[TCW World Championship Quarterfinals Match] The Miz pinned Christopher Daniels with the Skull Crushing Finale in 0:11:37. Rating: **** 1/4
An incredible opening match! Daniels looked fully recovered from his injury as he picked the pace up rather quickly. In the end Daniels went for The Best Moonsault ever, but The Miz countered by getting the knees up and then nailed his finisher for the win. The Miz advances in the tournament and we will find out who his Semifinal opponent will be NEXT!
Out first is Bruiser Brody who husses wildly to the ring, sending officials at ringside scattering! He paces back and forth in the ring awaiting the arrival of the super popular Ken Patera. As soon as Patera climbs in the ring this wild brawl is underway!
[TCW World Championship Quarterfinals Match] Bruiser Brody and Ken Patera battled to a double countout in 0:10:09. Rating: ** 1/4
Brody couldn't manhandle Patera like he's been doing with his past opponents. Instead, Patera showed him a little bit of what it's like to be thrown all over the ring as Patera's impressive strength was on display in full tonight! Unfortunately there wasn't a winner tonight as they both were counted out during a ringside brawl! This means that The Miz automatically advances to the FINALS for the vacant TCW World Championship!
Vladimir Kozlov stomped to the ring looking prepared for a fight. His opponent is fan favorite Ricky Steamboat!
Ricky Steamboat pinned Vladimir Kozlov with the Flying Cross Body Press in 0:11:06. Rating: **
Steamboat definitely had his hands full with Kozlov. The angry Russian looked to make a statement here but Steamboat was a little too much for him. Steamboat picks up the win and at the next event he'll have his Quarterfinals Match in the TCW World Championship tournament.
Bobby Eaton & "Magnificent" Muraco headed to the ring for their tag team match. They both cut promos about winning the TCW World Championship tournament which obviously led to a bit of bickering among themselves. Muraco also mentioned that if he and Steamboat should meet in the tournament, Steamboat wouldn't be walking out with the World Championship... but he wouldn't be walking at all! Rob Van Dam & Tajiri had heard enough and they stormed the ring ready to go.
Bobby Eaton and Don Muraco defeated Rob Van Dam and Tajiri when Muraco pinned Tajiri with the Tombstone Piledriver in 0:14:44. Don Muraco suffered an elbow injury. He will be out for approximately 1 card. Rating: ***
RVD wanted to get his hands on Eaton in the worst way but Eaton managed to avoid RVD for most of the match. Midway through the match Muraco was noticeably favoring his left elbow. The end came when RVD finally got his hands on Eaton and the two brawled with one another on the floor. In the ring, Tajiri attempted to hit a moonsault off the ropes on Muraco. But Muraco caught him and planted him with the Tombstone Piledriver for the win!
Following intermission a few announcements were made. It was made official that due to the countout in the Bruiser Brody/Ken Patera match, The Miz is automatically in the match for the vacant TCW World Championship. Also, next week in tournament matches, Ricky Steamboat will face Bobby Eaton and Don Muraco will face the winner of tonight's Last Chance Battle Royal.
The announcement is made for the Last Chance Battle Royal. The winner will get the final spot in the TCW World Championship Tournament. 8 wrestlers soon fill the ring and we're ready to go!
[8-Man Last Chance Battle Royal] George Steele won an 8-man Battle Royal: x Koko threw out Tajiri after the Ghostbuster in 0:06:33 x G. Steele threw out V. Kozlov in 0:07:34 x G. Steele threw out Delirious and Octagon in 0:10:37 x H. Holly threw out Koko in 0:14:04 x G. Steele threw out H. Holly after a chokehold in 0:14:15 x G. Steele threw out RVD in 0:17:59 Rating: ** 3/4 [Bobby Eaton interfered against Rob Van Dam.]
Tajiri showed a lot of guts getting back into the ring after taking a Tombstone Piledriver last match but it was no surprise when he was the first man eliminated. Delirious and Octagon tried numerous times to eliminate each other but it was George Steele who eliminated them BOTH at the same time! In the end, RVD was struggling to eliminate George Steele when Eaton came to ringside to badmouth him. This brief distraction gave Steele the opportunity to eliminate RVD and win the match! Unbelievable! George Steele is in the TCW World Championship tournament!
Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event!
Bobby Heenan leads his team of Hercules & Big John Studd to the ring looking very confident. Next out are The Public Enemy who get a great reaction. They're followed by The Nasty Boys who are immediately bombarded with boos! And finally the team of Junkyard Dog & Rick Steiner jog to the ring ready for action!
Your Main Event [Four Corners Match for the vacant TCW Tag Team Championship] The Heenan Family (Big John Studd and Hercules) defeated The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags), Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) and Rick Steiner and Junkyard Dog: x Rocco Rock beat Knobbs via a Victory Roll in 0:09:06 x Studd beat Rocco Rock via a lariat in 0:13:11 x Hercules beat R. Steiner via a roll up in 0:20:28 Rating: * 1/4 (The Heenan Family won the TCW Tag Team Championship.)
Here are your winners... and NEW TCW Tag Team Champions! THE HEENAN FAMILY!
Rocco Rock surprised Knobbs with a Victory Roll around 9 minutes in to eliminate the Nasty Boys. A few minutes later Rocco Rock was setting up to hit the Drive By on Big John Studd when Heenan hopped on the apron. Rocco quickly jumped down and took a swipe at Heenan. Heenan managed to duck and grab the referee's attention while Hercules ran down the ring apron and hit a brutal lariat on the "Flyboy". Studd was quick to cover him and eliminate Public Enemy from the match. In the closing minutes of the match, the Heenan Family were in control over Rick Steiner until Steiner hit an awesome powerslam on Hercules. Steiner crawled to JYD but just as he was about to make the hot tag, Heenan grabbed JYD's foot. JYD pulled his foot away, jumped down from the ring apron, and chased Heenan around the ring. Heenan slid into the ring to escape JYD but he backed right into Steiner. Heenan turned around and was STEINERLINED over the ropes!! The crowd erupted! But Hercules dropped down behind Steiner, rolled him up, and with a handful of tights pinned Steiner's shoulders to the mat to win the Championship!
Hercules & Big John Studd helped Bobby Heenan to the back while they raised their new Tag Team title belts high in the air. Meanwhile, JYD & Rick Steiner couldn't believe they were duped by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan again.

Miz sneaking into the finals is quality. Fits his character well, and he's a big star to be in the finals. No issues there.
Muraco/Steamboat feud takes another step forward.
Eaton is awesome. Suck on that, RVD!
Studd/Hercules are quality tag champs. Let's see who gets the first shot.

Ah! Was hoping for Brody to make a run in the tournament, but you did the right thing in getting him out of the tournament with a double countout.
Good way to continue the Eaton/RVD feud, but not really have them get into it.
Crazy that Steele made it into the tournament. Couldn't have predicted that.
I didn't expect Hercules and Studd to walk out with the straps, but they make for an interesting team. Kind of like Haku/Andre back in the day. The match was exciting and Heenan getting Steinerlined had to have been a huge mark out moment.

TCW Newsline for February 19, Year 1
Last Saturday night was a historic one for TCW as we crowned our very first Tag Team Champions, The Heenan Family members Hercules & Big John Studd! The duo defeated three other teams in a Four Corners Match but not without some timely interference from their manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Headed into this Saturday the Heenan Family will find out who will be their first challengers as Junkyard Dog & Rick Steiner tangle with Public Enemy in a Top Contenders Match!
George "The Animal" Steele surprised everyone as he won the Last Chance Battle Royal and earned himself the final spot in the TCW World Championship Tournament! His opponent this Saturday is set to be Don Muraco but Muraco is rumored to have suffered an injury during his match last week. Depending on Muraco's status we'll either have ourselves a tournament match or Steele will automatically advance to the Semifinals with a bye.
The other tournament match scheduled should be a highly technical contest as Ricky Steamboat goes one-on-one with Bobby Eaton. Both men are at the top of their game and both men are undefeated thus far in TCW. A loser here not only loses his chances at becoming the first TCW World Champion but they will also lose their undefeated streak.
The Miz is already in the FINALS of the tournament! He would have faced the winner of the Bruiser Brody/Ken Patera match in the semifinals but both men were counted out in their match. As a result, Miz is in the finals - and Brody & Patera have unfinished business. The two will meet again this Saturday night!
The saga between Delirious and Octagon continues. They both participated in the Last Chance Battle Royal not just to win, but to eliminate each other. Both are desperately trying to win this feud but for one reason or another, no one has won yet. We'll try again this Saturday! No time limit! No DQ! No countouts! Someone must win!
All this and more this Saturday night!
Matches announced for February 26, Year 1 --------------------------------------------- * Delirious vs. Octagon in a No Time Limit, No DQ, No Countout Match * Bruiser Brody vs. Ken Patera * Junkyard Dog & Rick Steiner vs. The Public Enemy in a Top Contenders Match * Ricky Steamboat vs. Bobby Eaton in a TCW World Championship tournament Quarterfinals Match * George Steele vs. Don Muraco in a TCW World Championship tournament Quarterfinals Match

THE TIES THAT BIND Saturday, February 26, Year 1
The ring announcer welcomes the fans in attendance to an exciting night of wrestling action. And then is interrupted by the newly crowned TCW Tag Team Champions, Hercules & Big John Studd accompanied by their manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan also known as The Heenan Family. Heenan grabs the microphone and puts over his stable saying they did exactly what they said they would do. He then says that tonight's Top Contenders Match between Public Enemy and Junkyard Dog & Rick Steiner will only determine who the first team to fall at the hands of the new Champions will be. He goes on to say that he and his men will be watching the match closely. He finishes by reminding Rick Steiner that he hasn't forgotten about the Steinerline two weeks ago.
Our first match tonight is a Quarterfinals Match in the TCW World Championship tournament. Out first the undefeated and arrogant "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton. His opponent is also undefeated but adored by TCW fans everywhere; Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat!
[TCW World Championship Quarterfinals Match] Ricky Steamboat pinned Bobby Eaton with the Flying Cross Body Press in 0:11:06. Rating: *** 1/4
This match certainly lived up to its expectations as these two put on a wrestling clinic. In the end, Eaton planted Steamboat with a bodyslam and ascended to the top rope. Rather than coming off with the Alabama Jam, Eaton paused, looked into the crowd, and did Rob Van Dam's signature thumb-pointing pose. Then he came off with a Five Star Frog Splash that looked more like a DUD Frog Splash and MISSED! Steamboat rolled to safety and then HE came off the top rope with a Flying Cross Body Press for the win!
After Steamboat celebrated his victory all the way back through the curtain, Rob Van Dam came out to the ring to a huge ovation. As Eaton looked on angrily, Rob Van Dam climbed into the ring and did his signature pose as the crowd said along with him "ROB... VAN... DAM!" Then RVD simply turned and left Eaton in the ring throwing a tantrum.
Hardcore Holly makes his way to the ring for our next match. The fans aren't too happy to see him. But they are happy to see his opponent "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels!
Christopher Daniels pinned Hardcore Holly after a spinebuster in 0:10:45. Rating: ** 1/2
Daniels was just barely able to squeak by Holly here. After shaking off the cobwebs from the spinebuster and realizing he had lost, Holly cheap shotted Daniels in the back. This is a side we knew Holly had in him but we hadn't seen it come out until now.
Up next The Nasty Boys head to the ring representing Pitty City as best as anyone. Their opponents, Tajiri & Rob Van Dam, then come out to a standing ovation!
Rob Van Dam and Tajiri defeated The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) when RVD pinned Sags with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:07:25. Rating: *** 1/4
After missing out on an opportunity to become the first ever TCW Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys looked to bounce back with a win tonight. However, Rob Van Dam & Tajiri worked well together and were able to hand the Nasties another loss.
As soon as the match was over Bobby Eaton stormed the ring still raging from earlier tonight. He nailed Tajiri and quickly tossed him out of the ring before RVD even knew what was happening. Then Eaton and RVD started brawling right there in the center of the ring. It was only a matter of seconds before officials and security hurried to the ring to break up the impromptu brawl. It's safe to say that this rivalry of one-upsmanship (?) has boiled over.
Our next match will hopefully be the one to settle the score. Delirious comes out first looking like a deranged lunatic. His opponent is TCW's favorite lucha star, Octagon!
[No Countout, No DQ, No Time Limit Match] Delirious pinned Octagon after a schoolboy cradle in 0:08:04. Rating: ** 3/4
This back and forth match came to an end when Delirious countered a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker with a schoolboy cradle. Using the ropes for leverage, Delirous put his feet up and was able to keep Octagon's shoulders down! This cheap attempt at victory didn't go unnoticed as another referee came to the ring to inform the official referee that Delirious had in fact CHEATED to win! After getting approval from the audience the match was restarted!
[Match Restarted] Octagon defeated Delirious via pinfall in 0:01:25. Rating: **
Delirious was so frustrated with the referee for restarting the match that he forgot Octagon was still in the ring! It only took just over a minute for Octagon to put Delirious away! Cleanly! Octagon wins!
"Magnificent" Don Muraco mad his way to the ring for his scheduled tournament match. However he didn't look to be in any condition to wrestle as his arm was in a sling. George "The Animal" Steele then came out to a pretty good reaction and looked ready to wrestle. Muraco took the microphone from the ring announcer and to the crowds delight announced that he would NOT be able to wrestle tonight as doctor's wouldn't clear him to work. BUT! As someone who rightfully earned his spot in the tournament the TCW Board of Directors have given him permission to choose his replacement. Muraco then introduces us to "The Samoan Bulldozer" UMAGA!
[TCW World Championship Quarterfinals Match] Umaga pinned George Steele with the Samoan Spike in 0:03:09. Rating: -3/4*
It didn't take Umaga long to show the TCW fans that he is one tough, scary, and violent human being. As Umaga laid a beating on Steele Muraco could be seen smiling and cheering at ringside. After a brief comeback from Steele was cut short by an impressive side kick from Umaga, Muraco raised his thumb in the air signaling Umaga to finish the job. Umaga held out his taped thumb and delivered a violent blow to the "The Animal's" throat! The Samoan Spike!
After the match Muraco climbed in the ring and started laying in the boots to Steele. This prompted RICKY STEAMBOAT to hit the ring! Muraco was quick to slide out of the ring. With his attention on Muraco, Steamboat was blindsided by a shot from Umaga. Steamboat was down in the corner and Umaga came charging with all of his body weight into Steamboat. Muraco climbed back in the ring and put his thumb in the air signaling for Umaga to finish Steamboat with the Samoan Spike. As Umaga sized up Steamboat, a few babyfaces stormed the ring to prevent the finisher. Regardless, the message was sent. Steamboat will have possibly the toughest match of his career in the Semifinals of the tournament as he will go one-on-one with Umaga!
Up next, Bruiser Brody husses to the ring and continues pacing around the ring until his opponent, Ken Patera, comes out.
Bruiser Brody defeated Ken Patera by disqualification in 0:15:21. Rating: ***
We knew this one was going to be brutal right from the beginning as the match started in the aisleway! The referee had a tough time gaining order here and just when things looked under control, the fight would spill right back out of the ring. In the end, a chair had found it's way into the ring and Brody had every intention of cracking Patera with it. However, after wildly missing, Patera took the chair from Brody and leveled him across the back earning a disqualification. That didn't stop him from laying Brody out with another shot to the head! The crowd applauded Patera's aggressiveness.
Ladies and gentleman, it is now time for your Main Event!
Junkyard Dog & Rick Steiner jog to the ring and get a great reaction from the fans. After a few laps around the ring and some barking, their opponents come out to an equally loud ovation. Public Enemy!
Your Main Event... [Number One Contenders Match] Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) defeated Junkyard Dog and Rick Steiner when Rocco Rock pinned JYD with the Drive By in 0:10:57. Rating: * 1/2
The stakes were high in this match as the winner would get a shot at the Tag Team Champions at the next event. The teams may have shook hands before the match but they let it all out when that bell rang. In the end it was Public Enemy hitting the Drive-By on JYD to pick up the win. The teams showed good sportsmanship and respect for each other after the match. Public Enemy celebrated their win with the fans on the way back through the curtain.
The show wasn't over yet as The Heenan Family came to the ring to confront JYD & Steiner. Heenan taunted them for losing. With Hercules & Studd having his back, Heenan walked right up to JYD & Steiner and slapped them both. What Heenan didn't realize was the Public Enemy snuck up behind Hercules & Studd, pulled them out of the ring and were now behind Heenan. As Heenan called for his men to attack JYD & Steiner he soon noticed that his men were out of the ring, shouting at him to get out. Heenan then pleaded for his life! JYD grabbed a microphone just as Steiner hoisted Heenan over his head in a military press! JYD went on to say that if Heenan wants Steiner to put him down he'll have to agree to a few terms. First, Heenan must be banned from ringside at the next event when Public Enemy takes on Hercules & Studd for the Tag Team Champions! Heenan quickly agreed, continuing to plead Steiner to put him down. Secondly, at the next event, Heenan goes one-on-one with Junkyard Dog!! Heenan reluctantly agreed to a huge ovation from the fans! Steiner then tossed Heenan over the ropes onto Hercules & Studd as the show came to a close!
Overall: * 3/4

Like the Heenan Family being first tag champs. Could lead to some interesting stuff.
Eaton trying to do the Five Star was a great spot. His cockiness cost him in a big way. Plus, Steamboat's your top guy, so of course he's winning. Great stuff all around on this one.
Poor Holly. He should never lose ever!
And also poor Nasties. The RVD/Eaton feud is one of your best things going though, so no issues with it being continued how it did.
Hey! Delirious won fair and square! Stupid refs are out to get him. You'll get yours, Octagon!
Umaga is a great choice to replace Muraco because of injury, and I hope the Muraco/Umaga partnership goes past this. It feels like a good fit.
HUSS! HUSS! HUSS!
Great ending segment... Heenan is great when he's being had. His back is really up against the wall against JYD. Don't think we'll see new tag champs, but hey, who knows?

LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN Saturday, March 12, Year 1
TCW's biggest event to date is about to get under way! Our first match is the TCW World Championship Tournament Semifinals Match. The winner of this will go on to face The Miz in tonight's Main Event for the vacant TCW World Championship! Out first, being accompanied to the ring by Don Muraco... UMAGA! His opponent gets a tremendous reaction from the fans.. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat!
[TCW World Championship Tournament Semifinals Match] Ricky Steamboat pinned Umaga with the Flying Cross Body Press in 0:12:07. Rating: *** 3/4 [Don Muraco interfered against Ricky Steamboat.]
Not only is Umaga one of the most intimidating men in wrestling but Steamboat also had to worry about his arch rival Don Muraco outside of the ring. In the closing moments of the match with Steamboat mounting a comeback, Muraco hopped onto the ring apron and grabbed Steamboat. Umaga let out a savage scream and went for The Samoan Spike! Steamboat ducked and Muraco was knocked off the apron by the Spike! Steamboat quickly ascended the ropes and came off with his beautiful Flying Cross Body Press for the win!
Up next is a Special Attraction, 6-Man-Tag Team Match. The first team out consists of The Nasty Boys & Hardcore Holly, a team who looks ultra tough but the fans despise them. Their opponents get a good reaction as Koko B. Ware leads the way to ring. He's followed by partners Tajiri & "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels.
Christopher Daniels, Koko B. Ware and Tajiri defeated The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) and Hardcore Holly when C. Daniels pinned Knobbs after a gutwrench suplex in 0:08:30. Rating: ** 1/2
Daniels picks up the win for his team here tonight. As the referee raised Daniels hand Hardcore Holly pulled him out of the ring and whipped him hard into the guardrail. Koko & Tajiri quickly stepped in to prevent any further damage. Holly seems to still be holding a grunge over his loss to Daniels two weeks ago.
Bruiser Brody husses his way to the ring for a rematch with fan favorite Ken Patera. These two have been beating each other relentless over the past month and they show no signs of stopping anytime soon.
Bruiser Brody and Ken Patera battled to a double countout in 0:14:22. Rating: *** 1/2
As expected, this was a wild, exciting brawl! The referee was as lenient as he could possibly be as he didn't throw out warnings for punches or choking and let these two fight outside for a lot longer than normal. He had no choice but to count them out when they refused to bring the match back into the ring. During the melee Ken Patera was busted open which could be seen as some sort of payback for the chairshot he gave Brody two weeks ago! This only seemed to fuel The Olympian. The brawl finally came to an end when Patera gained the high ground in the ring with a steel chair. After a couple of failed attempts to get back in the ring, Brody reluctantly retreated rather than being hit with the chair again.
Our next match is the absolute final match between Octagon and Delirious. Last week Delirious pinned Octagon with his feet on the ropes, the decision was reversed, and then Octagon pinned him. Cheating aside, both men secured a win over each other. Now in their 2-out-of-3 Falls Match only ONE can win!
[Two-out-of-three-Falls Match] Octagon beat Delirious 2 falls to 0: x Octagon beat Delirious via pinfall in 0:20:11 x Octagon beat Delirious via a flying cross body press in 0:21:18 Rating: **** 1/4
This was a fast paced lucha style match that had the fans on the edge of their seats through its entirety. 20 minutes in saw Octagon finally win the first fall! Then just a minute later Delirious attempted a belly-to-back suplex off the top rope but Octagon countered it in mid-air with a cross body press to win the second fall and decisively win the feud!
A house party erupts throughout the arena as Public Enemy make their way to the ring for their shot at the TCW Tag Team Championship. The champions, Hercules & Big John Studd, then walk through the curtain. Their manager, Bobby Heenan, has been banned from ringside for the match. Even though The Heenan Family looks confident, they may have a hard time sticking to any sort of game plan without Heenan out there.
[Match with Bobby Heenan Banned From Ringside] The Heenan Family (Big John Studd and Hercules) defeated Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) when Hercules made Rocco Rock submit to the Backbreaker in 0:24:31. Rating: **** 1/2 (The Heenan Family retained the TCW Tag Team Championship.)
Wow! Say what you want about the personalities or the styles of those involved in this match but they tore it down tonight! Public Enemy came within inches of becoming new champions multiple times but Hercules & Big John Studd proved that even without Heenan at ringside they are very worthy champions! In the end Rocco Rock went for the Drive By but Hercules was able to roll out of the way. As Rocco staggered to his feet Hercules hoisted him up in the Backbreaker. Studd knocked Grunge off the ring apron before he could make a save attempt and Rocco had no choice but to submit!
Our next match has been a couple months in the making. Since TCW's inception Bobby Eaton has taken offense to Rob Van Dam's attitude and claim of being "The Whole F'N Show". Eaton made a good case for himself all the way up until last week when he was served his first loss as a direct result of attempting RVD's signature Five Star Frog Splash and botching it big time! Eaton comes to the ring looking focused as always. Soon after Rob Van Dam makes his way to the ring to a huge ovation.
Rob Van Dam pinned Bobby Eaton with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:26:43. Rating: **** 1/4 [The Nasty Boys interfered against Rob Van Dam.]
Another incredible match tonight! Eaton really wanted to show everyone that he should be The Whole F'N Show as his technical wrestling was on full display tonight. But never to be outdone Rob Van Dam went hold for hold with Eaton as the crowd cheered him on. At one point The Nasty Boys came to ringside and tripped up Rob Van Dam. Eaton was as confused as everyone else. Knobbs then threw a tire iron in to Eaton who caught the foreign object, immediately tossed it to the ground, and asked the Nasties what the hell they were doing out there? The referee ordered The Nasty Boys away from ringside and the match continued. The end came when Eaton took his time climbing the ropes. He was jaw jacking with the fans telling them to watch the most impressive high flying move in TCW, The Alabama Jam! RVD was able to crotch Eaton on the top turnbuckle. Eaton flipped into the ring right in position for RVD to hit the incredible VAN TERMINATOR!! Somehow, at the last second, Eaton kicked out! RVD then ascended the top and hit the Five Star Frog Splash to keep Eaton's shoulders down for the three count.
Junkyard Dog came to the ring first for our next match. He cut a promo on Bobby Heenan saying that he was going to gnaw on Heenan like a bone. JYD and the fans waited for Heenan's entrance but he was slow to come out. When Heenan finally did come through the curtain it was because officials were shoving him and pushing him towards the ring. Heenan finally rolled into the ring looking completely flustered and the Dog pounced on him!
Bobby Heenan pinned Junkyard Dog after an elbowdrop in 0:05:27. Rating: -***** [Scott Hall interfered against Junkyard Dog]
Heenan spent most of the match running away from Junkyard Dog or begging off. The times JYD did get his hands on him the crowd was deafening! It didn't take long for Hercules & Big John Studd to come to ringside and attempt to help their manager but they were stopped midway by Rick Steiner! In the ring, JYD hit the Thump Powerslam on Heenan and looked to win the match but the referee had his eyes on the fight in aisleway. SCOTT HALL hopped over the barricade, entered the ring, and laid out Junkyard Dog with the Outsider's Edge! He then dragged Heenan on top of JYD to give Heenan a pinfall victory! Steiner rushed the ring but Hall pulled Heenan out and retreated with the rest of The Heenan Family.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your Main Event!
The Miz came to the ring first looking determined. Of course he got on the microphone and reminded the fans in attendance that he is in fact "AWESOME!" Then a visibly aching Ricky Steamboat walked through the curtain to a thunderous ovation. He was still showing the effects of the brutal match he had earlier with Umaga but it was clear that he was there tonight to win the TCW World Championship!
Your Main Event... [Match for the vacant TCW World Championship] Ricky Steamboat pinned The Miz with the Flying Cross Body Press in 0:16:04. Rating: **** (Ricky Steamboat won the TCW World Championship.)
The Miz quickly took control of the match dishing out more punishment than most humans could ever withstand. But Steamboat had that fighting spirit tonight that he has shown time and time again. In the end, with the fans already on their feet, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat came soaring off the top with the Flying Cross Body Press to secure the win and become the first TCW World Champion! Steamboat remained on his knees clutching at his newly won title belt as the show came to a close.
