March Madness 2012
*Fireworks go off as MEW comes on the air with the March Madness PPV*
The Steiner Brothers V.S. The Sky Scrapers
Comments : The Steiner brothers were clicking real well tonight. At one point, Scott hit the Frankensteiner on Sid which made the place go nuts, but he only got a two count. Shortly later, Rick hit a huge bulldog off the top rope onto Dan Spivey and the brothers from Michigan scored the win!
The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner) defeated Sid and Dan Spivey when R. Steiner pinned Spivey with the Steiner Bulldog in 0:16:23. Rating: ** 3/4
Mr. Perfect V.S. Bret Hart
Comments : This was an epic battle. Back and forth with near falls, the clock was becoming the enemy. Then, Mr. Perfect locked on a sleeper and it looked like Bret was going out, but some how, some way he hung on. Let's look at this clip :
Bret Hart is inching his way towards the ropes. Bret Hart is valiantly trying to break the hold. Bret Hart tries to fight the pain. Bret Hart is almost gone. Jack Doan asks Bret Hart if he should stop the fight. Bret Hart shakes his head. Bret Hart is close to passing out from the pain. Jack Doan tells Bret Hart to respond or he'll stop the fight. Bret Hart nods. Bret Hart may have passed out. Jack Doan checks Bret Hart's arm. He lifts it... it falls. He lifts it... it falls. He lifts it... it stays up ! Bret Hart fights his way out of the hold after 1 minute. The bell rings. The time limit has expired.
Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect battled to a draw in 0:20:00. Rating: ****
The Undertaker V.S. ManKind
Comments : The deadman and the psychopath have had many battles in the past that were classic.. But this one just didn't seem to click. There were rumors that ManKind was nursing a nagging knee injury which seemed to be true because he was favoring his right leg. Undertaker had most of the control and ended the match with his pattened tombstone.
The Undertaker pinned ManKind with the Tombstone in 0:07:26. Rating: *** 1/2
Demolition V.S. The Road Warriors
Comments : These two teams were so evenly matched and as the match went on, you could feel it was going to go to a time limit draw which it did. The fans and the wrestlers wanted five more minutes and they got it and the teams went hard at it! The ending came when Smash knocked off Hawk when he went for the Doomsday Device and Ax nailed Animal out fo the ring. It was just long enough to hit there finisher to take the win!
Demolition (Ax and Smash) defeated The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) when Ax pinned Hawk after the Demolition Decapitation in 0:24:46. Rating: *** 1/2
Sting V.S. Big Van Vader
Comments : Sting came out with his old trademark Blonde hair and face painted and he was howling to the fans. Vader came out with his smoking hard mask which he placed on the asile. Vader took control early but that didn't last long. Sting took over and looked like he was going to finish Vader when he went for not one, not two, but three stinger splashes. That was his downfall as on the third stinger splash, Vader moved and Sting nailed the ringpost. As Sting turned around dazed, Vader nailed Sting with a stiff punch and one Vader Bomb later, and Vader was victorious.
Big Van Vader pinned Sting with the Vader Bomb in 0:10:19. Rating: ** 1/2
The Rock V.S. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Comments : The Rock came out looking very cocky. It appe ared that his hollywood persona was coming out and many thought it would get the better of him. Steve Austin came out with a no nonsense attitude only Steve Austin could show. The Rock was playing chicken with Steve and Steve was getting very frustrated. Finally, Austin got a hold of Rock and kept taking him down, first with a suplex and then a thez press. Toward the end of the match, Steve went for a pin and thought he got the three, but Rock kicked out at the last second. In a series of reversals, Rock went for a Stone Cold Stunner, Austin went for the Rock bottom, but finally, The Rock hit the Rock Bottom and got the three count.
The Rock pinned Steve Austin with the Rock Bottom in 0:11:15. Rating: *** 1/4
The Rock and Roll Express V.S. The Midnight Express
Comments : From The Rock...To The Rock and Roll Express. The fans were much more into the duo in the jean jackets and they were pumping up the crowd. Jim Cornettes Midnight Express seemed confident and as the bell rung, this old rivelary picked up where it left off. Robert Gibson was double teamed quite a bit in this match but when he made that tag to Ricky Morton, the place went nuts! After a while, Ricky tagged Robert back in and all four men were going at it. Jim Cornette tried to throw his racket to Stan Lane but Robert Gibson caught it and NAILED Stan with it. As Ricky and Bobby Eaton were battling out of the ring, Robert hit Stan with a Gutwrench suplex and it was all over.
Rock'n'Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) defeated The Midnight Express (Stan Lane and Bobby Eaton) when R. Gibson pinned S. Lane after a gutwrench suplex in 0:22:03. Rating: * 1/2
Shawn Michaels V.S. Triple H
Comments : This is where things took a weird twist. Triple H and Shawn Michaels eyed each other for a couple minutes before the bell rang. It looked as if they were going to hug and not fight. Then, the bell rang and they still stood there.. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsly ran down screaming and crying about something going on in the back, Shawn turned to Stephanie and Triple H NAILED Shawns knee, and then his gut.. Hit a pedagree and it was over.. Stephanie was still crying telling Triple H to come to the back. They made there way off as Shawn looked on in anger.
Triple H pinned Shawn Michaels with the Pedigree in 0:01:40. Rating: **
Mean Gene : Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the owners of MEW, the ones who put this amazing event together.. I can't believe I'm saying this... Vince McMahon and Ted Turner!
*Ted Turner and Vince McMahon come out and they are waving to the audience.*
Mean Gene : Vince, Ted... Not sure how you came eye to eye and joining forces but I for one am excited to see where this goes!
Vince : Ted and I are business men. We have had a rocky past but we figured lets give the fans what they want. Lets get the legends together and put on Main Event shows.
Ted : That is what it is all about Vince. After years and years of fighting, I believe we finally realized the people that drive our business are in the stands and why not make them happy.
*Vince and Ted raise there hands in victory and go take seats at ringside for the Main Event.*
Rick Rude, The Honky Tonk Man, Andre The Giant, Ted DiBiase and Ric Flair
V.S.
Macho Man Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Jake The Snake Roberts and Dusty Rhodes
Comments : This one, with all the star power in it, was sure to be huge and it was.. But not neccesarly for what happened during the match. This match started with Rick Rude and Randy Savage and as the match progressed, it was quickly apparent that there needed to be more then one ref in the match. As time pressed on, Hulk Hogan, Dusty Rhodes, Randy Savage and Jake Roberts was brawling with Ric Flair, Ted DiBiase, The Honky Tonk Man and Rick Rude on the outside. As the battle raged, Paul Heyman came down to ringside and NAILED The Ultimate Warrior with his telephone. Andre looked at Paul, shrugged, hit a giant elbow drop and got the three count.
Rick Rude, Honky Tonk Man, Andre the Giant, Ted DiBiase and Ric Flair defeated The Mega Powers (Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan), Dusty Rhodes, The Ultimate Warrior and Jake Roberts when Andre pinned U. Warrior with the Elbowdrop in 0:16:24. Rating: * 1/4 [Paul Heyman interfered against The Ultimate Warrior.]
Card rating: ** 1/4
*As the eight wrestlers outside were trying to figure out what was going on, Vince and Ted Turner confront Paul and Paul just grabs the Mic and backs away.*
Paul Heyman : Bravo! Bravo gentlemen! What a fine act you have put on. You are really putting the best interest of the fans first? Pulling these ancient relics out of the mothballs to add a few dollars to your pockets? You had talent that you NEVER pushed.. Or wrestlers that got fed up with your lack of focus on the wrestlers... Hell, there are some gems that you never even hired to begin with! I am so sick of talking, Vince, Ted.. This is was all brought upon you.
*From the final words of Paul Heyman, 10-15 men all dressed in black with masks on, run down to the ring and start an assault never seen before. They take down Andre The Giant, The Ultimate Warrior and Dusty Rhodes as others fend off the other 7 in the Main Event. Meanwhile, backstage, 4 others take down The Steiner Brothers and The Rock and Roll Express. Back in the ring, a wrestler picks up Ric Flair and gives him what appears to be the Go To Sleep. The last images seen as the Pay Per View goes off the air is Andre The Giant, Ric Flair, The Steiner Brothers, The Rock and Roll Express and The Ultimate Warrior all being treated by doctors and loaded into ambulences.*

From The Desk of Vincent Kennedy McMahon March 19th, 2012 To the fans of MEW, the wrestlers, the advertisers and anyone involved with this promotion, I would like to send out our appologies for what occured at the end of our March Madness Pay Per View. I can't go back and change anything and I know a chunk of our roster is banged up. However, I will not appologize for the action put on by the wrestlers of MEW. It was a night of exciting matches and a kick start to what will be a long era of action. Now Mr. Paul Heyman, we've crossed paths, but this shot, it was a strong one. I am not sure who these men you have with you are, but you don't have to do these sneak attacks. I am extending an invitation to you to come to MEWs TV taping on Thursday night, March 22nd. You don't need to bring cronies, just bring yourself and we will have a one on one discussion about whatever it is you are trying to accomplish. Fans, please join myself and the stars of MEW this Thursday, live on the USA Network! Sincerly, Vincent Kennedy McMahon

Tursday Night Fights March 22nd, 2012 *MEW Thursday Night Fights comes on the air to fireworks* Jake The Snake Roberts V.S. Jim PowersComments : Jake came out with his bag carrying his new snake and he looked ready for a fight. Jim Powers showed a bit of offense toward the beginning, which showed the first signs of possible damage done by the thugs that interupted the Main Event on Sunday. During the match, Ted DiBiase cut an inset promo talking about how Jake didn't have any class carrying around disgusting snakes and that business between the two was only getting started. Jake finished of Jim Powers with a vicious DDT! Jake Roberts pinned Jim Powers with the DDT in 0:08:38. Rating: * 3/4The Honky Tonk Man V.S. Barry HorowitzComments : The Honky Tonk Man came out with Jimmy Hart and tried singing to the audience but they would have none of it. The Honky Tonk Man worked over Barry and really did a number on his neck setting up Shake Rattle 'n' Roll and executing it perfectly. Bobby EatonComments : This was a great match with a lot of back and forth action. Bobby Eaton really slowed down Shawns fast pace and focused on Shawns upper body. At one point, Bobby had Shawn down and he went for the Alabama Jam, but missed. Shawn kipped up and was a house of fire, beating Bobby from ring post to ring post. As Shawn was about to hit Bobby with a flying elbow drop, Paul Heyman came from out of the crowd and shoved Shawn off the top rope, causing a disqualification. Rick came out to the ring with Bobby Heenan and Rude asked for the Mic to begin with. He asked for any women in the audience if they wanted to experience a rude awakening. This was a nasty, quick tag team match where Manny and Billy litterly had no offense. The bell rang and Sid threw Billy into a ring post. He tagged in Vader who gave Billy a Vader Splash into the corner and he threw Billy over to Manny to tag in. Vince, Ted, you can seemingly put on one match a week that might possibly keep people interested. You need to wake up Vince. I'm at my wits end and trust me, I will be the voice of the people. You can't shut me up and by all means, the men I have recruited, they are all quite happy to back me up with actions, not words. So I may be back next week, or maybe the week after, but mark my words Vinnie Mac, this is a war, not for me, but for the people. The FANS of WRESTLING. Oh, and Ted, Mr. Turner.. My time in WCW was the absolute shits.

Jake The Snake Roberts V.S. The Honky Tonk Man
Comments : This match never happened, due to absolute greed. As Jake was putting his snake in the corner, as he turned around, Honky Tonk Man DRILLED Jake with his guitar, shattering it into thousands of pieces. Jake was unconcious. The Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiases theme blared from the speaker and he walked down the asile, very happy to see what had been done. Ted took out a wad of $100's and handed it to The Honky Tonk Man. As Honky was leaving, Ted took one last $100 bill and stuffed it in Jakes mouth. The show went off the air with Ted DiBiase laughing.

Just curious does anybody like this circuit? My computer crashed and I am trying to figure out a way of getting a new computer that I can run TNM on. I was thinking of continuing the circuit just from my head without TNM right now.
